If you want Filipino food. I recommend visit this restaurant. This is a go to restaurant if youre craving for Pinoy food. Its affordable and delicious.

My family has been ordering party trays from here for the past few years and they do not disappoint! Service is very friendly and the food always exceeds our expectations. Whenever I crave Filipino food, I always order from here off of Uber eats despite being over an hour away. Never disappoints :) Thanks Summer House!

The food is good however some items are very pricey for what you re receiving when you order delivery. The garlic beef and rice is tasty but definitely not worth $22 for the portion size. Items seem to be more expensive on app then in store as well.

I came too early to pick up my order, my wife might have given me the wrong time. But Summer House staff was extremely fast to create my order and have it ready in less than 10 minutes! Amazing!l service! Thank you staff from Summer House!

I visited here in 2022, and again just a few days ago. Unfortunately the verdicts not great. More details below. My wife and I visited here a few days ago. The door was held open, which in a way was kind of nice and inviting, so far so good. When we walked in, we werent greeted by anyone, and ended up walking further towards the back to speak to someone. We asked to see the menu and were handed a paper menu that looks like its been used as a regular dine in menu. We decided wed sit down and eat in, even though we live a short walk away and it would have been ultimately much more comfortable to just take the food to go and eat at home (foreshadowing). The first thing I noticed is that the person dealing with us didnt look particularly interested or engaged, but at least she had a smile and was somewhat friendly. Something we noticed immediately is that the place looks really run down. It doesnt look like its properly looked after. The tables are old and damaged, and look like theyre from the 80s. There are boxes and random things just stacked in the corner for guests to see. And two fans, one standing right in front of the kitchen, and the other was ON a dining room table. My wife ordered the Pancit, and I had a BBQ chicken combo. The Pancit came out relatively quickly, less than 10 minutes. Which is good. It didnt look super appetizing and my wife thought it was quite bland and nothing special. The portion was huge too, which youd think is good, but it was way too much for her to eat. Before my food came out, my wife and I decided that we were going to take the food to go (even though we still had to wait for mine to be done) because we kept having to swat flies away from our table. As for me, I didnt much like my food either. For one, it took well over 20 minutes to come out, AFTER my wife had already began eating hers. That should never happen. The restaurant was dead and we were the only two guests. There is no reason the kitchen staff couldnt have the two meals come out together so that my wife and I could enjoy our food at the same time. The BBQ combo apparently comes with 3 metric tons of rice (and not very good rice either) with the two loneliest little halves of broccolis on top of it youve ever seen in your life. The chicken itself WAS barbequed, and actually decently seasoned. However, it was charred and overcooked, dry and otherwise unremarkable. It tasted more like dry rub jerk chicken than a proper barbequed chicken. It was also packaged in a paper box, which leaked any of the juices that would have been in the chicken out and made a mess on our table. I understand that this isnt exactly a fine dining restaurant, but there are hallmarks of a GOOD restaurant that are just not here. Uninspired service, dated and damaged décor, barely passable and edible food and overall an uninteresting experience that I wouldnt look forward to again.

I loved the barbecue flavour in the meat and shrimp and the portion sizes were also very generous, at a reasonable price.

Food is decent but Waiter attentiveness is near 0. The water is contaminated with frying fish-oil and waiter just throws takeaway boxes like it is non of their business. The waiter has also failed to inform me of their in-house 12% mandatory tipping, until I have asked for a full breakdown of the bill. Overall bad experience, would recommend take out but do not come into the restaurant.

I was very disappointed with the sweet and sour pork I ordered. They just chopped a coated porkchop and give us some sweet and sour sauce. I usually order take out because the place is not that clean.

Awful food! I ordered palabok and they served nasty overcooked vermicelli noodles with a puke-like orange sauce for $20. Do not patronize this place. Never again.

Always wants to grab a quick meal in this restaurant. Foods are always very good. And the receptionist is very accommodating.

We are not Filipinos, but weve been to this resto quite a few times! Very good, especially the Lechon and Lechon fried rice!

I ordered from Uber eats large sinigang and liempo, it was all water and liempo is like extra small size this is the worst Filipino food I have ordered! Your sinigang is like water with floating cabbage and no meat! And all for $50 ! Total rip off ! Will never order here again, what a waste of money!

Absolutely delicious. A hidden gem for sure. Do have to give 1 star off as the food took a while to arrive, however it was well worth the wait!

I bought the Lechon Kawali and squid. The lechon meat was decent but the skin was so hard it felt like I would chip a tooth if I bit it wrong. It didn t feel crispy at all, just hard. Maybe it was because I bought it toward the end of the day? But still no reason it should be that bad. Also, why do you guys inflate your prices on Door Dash? In-store price for the Lechon Kawali is $16.95, but the Door Dash price is $20.75. I only found out after ordering from DD, went in store to pick it up and saw the price. I contacted DD and was advised it was the restaurant who set that inflated price. The serving was a small box and doesn t warrant $16.95 let alone $20.75. Plus you only give one gravy in a small container that s half full? Okay... I give 2 stars because the squid was decent and price was reasonable, otherwise it would have been a 1 star. I wouldn t recommend the Lechon in this place.

One of my favorite restaurants! Their Boodle Fight is great, and the sinigan and tom yum soups are awesome too. We order here almost weekly!

I ordered in uber eats for pork sisig. When I received the food its not sisig, its cooked like adobo.

I do not recommend Pork SISIG made of byproducts mostly fats disgusting! I can still see ear hair!

Went here for my birthday with a couple of friends that can picky eaters. Everyone was stuffed and satisfied after the meal. We had a ton of different noodles. Would recommend the thick ones. Also I liked the bubble tea. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. The bathrooms are downstairs and are clean and have cute decor. I noticed a lot of people got takeout.

I ordered sisig and it doesnt taste like it at all.. too many liquid and the egg is burned.. such a waste of money!! Very disappointed

A simple yet cozy restaurant with delicious food and reasonable price.

Wasn t impressed with the food we ordered here. I got yang chow fried rice, oxtail kare kare, pancit bihon, and crispy pata to go and everything was quite flavourless and dry. The oxtail was also very fatty as the skin was attached.

some food are okay, some are bad. Its definitely not authentic Filipino foods. Be aware, the 5 stars reviews here are all paid reviews. I used to work for marketing and I know how they work. Also be aware, they include 10% of the bill themselves for the tip. Double check your bill carefully before pay or tipping the real problem is how they treat you. They are like, okay we are busy, you eat whatever you are given and go away I ordered a curry rice and a beef. beef came out first, but curry took a lot, and when curry finally arrived on my table, beef was already cold. And it seems like they are okay with it. Price is not reasonable either. Just one small rice cup is 3 bucks, and average price of dishs are 10~12 bucks.

Great food and Service!

I am only rating the service and not the food. I came to the restaurant at 7:20pm and the server did not even acknowledge/ greet me. I waited 10 minutes and I just decided to walk out. Food is great and I have been to this restaurant many times with my girlfriend. I am very disappointed that service took such a hit. You guys gotta step it up....

This is the restaurant first impression dont last. We ate there after work and we order food sweet and sour pork, veggie rice and crispy pata. I would say sweet and sour are COPYCAT with bones and the sauce on the side. FYI you dont know the real sweet and sour pork. San ka makakakita ng sweet and sour na asa side ang sauce. Carrots so dry. Tapos canadian ang kasama mo bibigyan ka ng spoon and fork. VEGGIE RICE dont really look like and taste Veggie rice so dry. Crispy pata overcooked so very oily. Pagkabalik ng food dedma ka na lang not checking on you. And ang Cashier humahawak ng pera and food together no gloves, no hair nets...so surprise meron pa silang Pass.. they are not passing the standard of Food Handling.. last but not the least SMELLY WASHROOM down stairs. Mali na nga nila but they dont accept their mistake. NO SORRY OR APOLOGY and worse pinabayaran pa sa customer only 10% discount shame on you. Not recommend this to my FILIPINO friends and others. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

As a first time there I ask about one of favorite dish was on the menu. If there was any bones in sweet &sour pork. She assured me that there NO BONES in that dish. What did I received a sweet & sour pork had bones. I ate one piece and I didnt touch the of the meal. I lost my happetite. I ask the waitress to take off atleast 50 % but I got 10% & NO APOLOGIES FOR HER MISTAKE. WE were ingnore after serving us the last meal. By the way, THE REAL SWEET & SOUR PORK HAVE NO BONES. You should remove that meal from the menu. SHAME ON YOU... Comment on the Owner: You did not reply to my real issues. You are only covering the waitress in which the waitress who serves us is NOT new waitress. She explained before the order and clarify that the sweet and sour pork with NO BONES. Supposed to give that MEAL as FREE because its your MISTAKE. but instead 90% you ask the CUSTOMER TO PAY. The most important thing you did not ACKNOWLEDGE that you really dont know SWEET AND SOUR PORK. REMOVE that on your MENU. You dont how to do the dish properly stop doing fooling your customer. By the way your WAITRESS is not manageable and helpful I hope you kick her out too to learn her lesson or in the future your business will go down.

this is one of the best restaurant i have ever had in my life. Their kawali and squid is simply my favour food. Best quality and speed. Their service is also very nice. I will visit this place every week. Hope this restaurant will have other locations.

Really tasty. A bit hard to reach parking when coming from the west on Sheppard but we would definitely go again. Very friendly staff. The bbq chicken and beef are really really nice.

I have driven by this store numerous times in the last 2 years and have always wondered how the food is. Last night I had a craving for grilled squid and my wife crispy pata. I was really surprised when I searched for this restaurant their menu had these items. I called ahead and in 15 minutes my order was completed. Took the food home and it was amazing. It was fresh and tasted great. I highly suggest checking out this restaurant.
