Food is consistent with the Swiss Chalet brand and enjoyed well, but the dine-in at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired as they prioritize takeout, so it takes forever to be seen, order, and have food brought to you. Parking: Street parking along Queen St only Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible by wheelchair

Ordered festive feasts and they didn t include the bread rolls and stuffing (only found after after getting home with the food) Tried calling to give them a chance to make it right but they won t answer the phone.

While I want to be understanding of how busy they were with take out orders, this place is not a good option for dine in, service and cleanliness. They said it was ok to sit in the dining area with take-out, saw that there were 4 tables that were uncleared. One other family was sitting and waiting for their food (dine-in). Went to order at the counter, they were able to take more orders until the queue was cleared so we order online instead bc it seemed it ll be faster. Also the kid at the other table noticed a bug Unsure if I would get food at this location in the future. Parking: Green P parking

I tried this place too..... chicken undercooked. Im calling to complain to the manager. I talked to manager and he was super nice and was great and offered a replacement. Food

It was the first experience on mine in swiss chalet and it s awesome. Their veggie burger was yum.

Not a great eat-in place. Front tables and floor used for take-away storage. Back tables are crampped, dark and dingy plus smell is coming from toilets. Saw one of the cooks pick-up fries that fell out of food container on the front counter, he picked it up and shove it back in the box with his bare hands and send it out for delivery. Disappointed....

Although it is the smallest Swiss Chalet, everything is done with great care. The manager and owner are incredibly friendly and kind-hearted, and the staff are equally welcoming. The service provided is excellent.

One of the best recommendation for Canadian food and the service provided was perfectly fine as the team where very cooperative and we were confused to order and thats when the team have us a heads up and it was delicious. Would totally recommend to bring family and friends.

We regularly have Swissy, but never at this location. Tried it yesterday and it was terrible for kids. The kid friendly menu was laminated so the kids can t do the puzzles or colouring on the back, no crayons offered for that reason. My kid ordered the cheesy noodles (think Mac and cheese), and the server first came out to tell us that the order would take a long time and we want to order something else he said no and we waited and he came back with noodles that had grated cheese on top that was then melted in the microwave. Nothing at all like mac & cheese and nothing like what we have had other locations. If you had had just been honest and told us that they did not have it at that location, we would ve ordered something else. For the kids side, we picked raw veggies, which again at other locations are chopped and served on a plate along with some lettuce and in this case, he just handed us a run of the middle adult salad, which we had to send back because my kid would not eat it. Also no kids treasure chest at the end, and no ice cream for dessert. Food was good, service was good, but I question the logic of either the manager or the owner.. The atmosphere was ruined by pictures of the owner playing golf up on the walls .. totally bizarre for a themed restaurant franchise. I m not the biggest fan of Swiss Chalet but my grandmother is obsessed, so of course we stopped by this location with the whole crew, 6 of us in total. The staff there were super friendly and our waiter was sweet and great with the kids, even giving them a toy to keep them entertained (which definitely bought us some quiet time so bonus points for that!). I went for the burger and while it clearly wasn t a freshly made patty, I wasn t disappointed. It hit the spot and if I go back I ll probably get the same thing. The soup was pretty good too but after seeing the kids fries I regret not getting those. The kids enjoyed their meals and my grandmother and the other adults went with the usual massive chicken feast, which they both love. Overall, Swiss Chalet might not be my first pick, but with great service, good food, and a happy grandmother, It s definitely worth five stars! Parking: You ll have to find parking on one of the side streets near the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Full kids menu and the staff are fantastic with children there!

Don t order delivery from them, it took forever and food arrived cold

If I could rate this restaurant more than five stars I definitely would! Sadly, we now live in a place where there is no Swiss Chalet. My husband, knowing my great love of Swiss Chalet, planned a surprise 60th birthday party for me when we were visiting Toronto at this place. He had worked together with the owner, Anisur Salim, in secret without me having a clue. When I arrived, everything was so well organized, the restaurant had beautiful balloons for me and even donated a birthday cake! There were about 40 of us there that evening and the owner made sure everything went off so smoothly and the food was delicious! He was very attentive and was happy to have been working with my husband on this surprise. Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work to create such a beautiful evening for me! It was absolutely perfect!

What a crock of nonsense with this location. Look at all the recent 5 star review, all made by accounts with one 1 review. Clearly bought these. This location has to be the worst run Swiss Chalet I have ever been to. Service is non existent. We waited for 25 mins to have our order taken, only to walk up the the takeout counter to order and get told to wait while they served their takeout orders first. When someone finally brought our food, they lost track of what each table ordered and just left food at random tables. Terrible food, service, all of it. Shut this place down if you don t want to run it.

This was my 437th time at Swiss Chalet in my long life. The food was as good as expected (good) and it arrived very quickly. What made this visit worthy of five stars was the stellar service provided by the staff, specifically our gracious, soft spoken bald waiter (:)). Professional, attentive and very professional he really made the experience memorable. My mother was especially taken care of and treated with respect and kindness and for that you deserve all the blessings and success. Thank you and highly recommend this little SC.

I love the new seafood additions to the menu. The usual fish that comes with fish and chips is a sliver of fish inside a big chunk of fried batter. Your fish was lightly battered and the fish portion was a nice size. Your delivery drivers are always very nice.

One of the most bizarre Swiss Chalets I have been to. Dined in and was greeted by a big screen TV playing CP24 and a small shrine of what appeared to be the owner with golf trophies. Truly strange. Ambiance rivalled a Tim Hortons. Food was fine and service was OK. Would maybe get takeout from here again but will pass on the dining in.

Good for take out, dont recommend going here for dine in. Limited seating, no bar for drinks and the space was cold. There is a much better option at Danforth and Danforth for dine in option

Really great place. They accommodated our large group for a small birthday. They also presented a slice of cheesecake to the birthday boy along with a candle and sang happy birthday. Lovely!

Upon our recent visit to the Swiss Chalet location at 2148 Queen Street for a quick bite with colleagues, we were greeted & seated by a friendly welcoming hostess. The orders were timely & the quality of the food was excellent. The server was very attentive & table touched to ensure our dining experience was to expectations. I would highly recommend family & friends for a night out. Proof, review and post its on Google by CC Parking: Enough parking spots being a weekday. Kid-friendliness: Serving staff very attentive to kids & want beyond together keep them happy.

This will definitely be the last time I attend this particular facility. This experience was similar to my last experience here and i am not impressed. First, noone to greet us at the door as what appears to be one staff handling food, money and serving the food. This is a holiday, no preparation for the indining customers. I wait patiently while orders were taken and yet the basic of water and juice have not reached our table to satisfy part of the hunger we are feeling. If u plan to attend this facility, do not come on an empty stomach as the service is very very slow. No apologies no explanation. If it wasnt for my aging mother not wanting to leave, I would have canceled my order. Unhappy and hungry customer.

On July 15/23 @ 9:15pm me and my boyfriend came to this location, the woman behind the counter asked if it was for dine in or take out, when we said dine in, she looked up at the clock and gave us a dirty look and said the kitchen is closing, even though it says open till 10pm. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! That being said, it looks like we dodged a bullet being refused service, the 1 star reviews talking about the quality of food seems like she did us a favor!!! Never Again!!!!

Normal Swiss Chalet in the middle of the jazz festival but not appearing to enter into the spirit of the jazz festival, but they were very nice about letting people use their washroom or filling a water bottle for a musician.

This is a bog-standard Swiss Chalet. It offers the standard Canadian franchise restaurant experience, nothing more, nothing less. Its the kind of place that always forgets one thing (your cutlery, your butter for your roll, your chalet sauce), but the staff apologizes for it and makes it right. I feel like Swiss Chalet is even more consistent than McDonalds, across time and locations. They keep changing up the menu but every time I venture away from the quarter chicken combo I am so disappointed. If youre like me, twice a year your body just demands Swiss Chalet (some sort of Canadian compulsion?). This one will do the same thing every other one does.

Vegetarian options: Excellent option Veggie Burgers and Veggie Stir Fry & Vegetable Pot Pie Food

Everytime I go to the beaches location they welcome me back and makes one feel like family. The food is excellent and likewise the staff is professional and welcoming.

The garlic loaf, quarter chicken, fries, chalet sauce...classic meal! Gazi is also such a great host.

This location is primarily a take out location. While there are dine-in tables, this location lacks many things others have (eg kids menu doesnt have drink options, only option is apple juice drink box, only one kid dessert m&m available). Service was friendly and food was quite good, but atmosphere and speed were less than other dine in locations.

I ordered a family meal at 6:53 pm. Two hours later my order still did not arrive. I called the store directly multiple times and the line was busy. It said my order was out for delivery for one hour already on the tracker. I called customer service, the agent said she will check with the restaurant and said she will place me on a brief hold. I suddenly hear ringing and that I reached a general voicemail. I have no idea what the agent did but she clearly was not checking with the restaurant. I called customer service again. The agent assured me the food is out for delivery and I should wait a little longer. I explained that I don t want a cold dinner. 15 mins later still no delivery so I try the restaurants direct number and this time I am able to speak to an employee. He explained it was busy but now the delivery driver just left. I explained that I spoke to another agent at customer service and she told me 15 mins earlier that it was already out for delivery and so did the app. The employee told me that s not correct and he is giving me really time info. Another 15 mins later and no delivery. After quite sometime the driver arrived but we made the decision not to accept the order and ordered from another restaurant in the West end of the city and it only took 25 mins. What horrible customer service, I understand it s can get really busy. But over 2 and half hours for delivery. If I walked into the restaurant would I have to wait 2 hours for take out? Never again. Support local !

Pretty convenient for a Sunday dinner when you dont want to cook anything, close to everything. We ordered a quarter roast chicken with fries really good taste, and the garlic appetizer and the lemon pie were amazing! Gazi provided us with a really good experience!

I came to this location with my wife to have lunch and we had a really good experience. The food, location and the best is the service from Gazi. He gave us an amazing experience having a perfect Sunday lunch. For sure we will be back!

Gazi was a wonderful server! It was my first time going to Swiss Chalet and he made sure that it d be memorable. I had the quarter chicken dinner. Chicken was tender and fries were crispy. Just a bit low-salt for my taste. That s healthier anyway. And there is salt on the table if you want to add more. Thanks for the lovely first experience, Gazi!

We ve been to this restaurant several times, as it was supposed to be quick and easy for us as a dine in option in between extra curricular a. But even though the food is reliably the same as it was since I was 6, the service is completely lacking. For an empty dining room the server didn t take an order for 15 minutes, and then the food took at least another 30 minutes to arrive to our table. We won t be coming back for dine-in.

I have been coming to this place for years and years and I am always met with a smile and friendly attitude. They always serve with a smile and the portions are right on. Gazi knows his customers so well and is a staple in the Beaches community. Great place

This place has 3-4 delivery drivers that park in front of the store taking up valuable spots that could be used by clients. It s difficult enough finding parking as it is being close to downtown. These drivers should park elsewhere.

My rating would have been higher if it wasnt for the man who served me. The food was great the service was great up until the end when I went to pay. The man who served me the whole night hovered over me when I was paying. He pointed to the tip part on the screen and said Thats where you enter the tip. I asked how do I skip that part, I was paying on two separate bills, the first one was a gift card that I still wanted to leave money on so I intended to put the tip on the second bill where I was paying with debit. He said very loudly and frustrated You mean you want to leave a zero dollar tip?! He angrily snatched the machine out of my hand put in the zero dollar tip and gave it back, I was too shocked by his behaviour to say anything so I just asked where the option for gift card was and he snatched the machine and my gift card out of my hand (I never asked him to do it for me I just asked where the option I wanted to select was). Once he handed it back for me to pay the second bill by debit, he says very loudly Dont worry its already set to a zero dollar tip I was embarrassed because not only did I not understand why he was being friendly to me the whole night just to act like this over the tip but also because I did intend to tip him but on the second bill through my personal bank account so I could keep money on my gift card and now I look like the bad customer for not tipping. But now, since that guy was all in my space and showed me he was only nice until he thought he wasnt getting a tip, I didnt want to tip him at all, why cant he just be nice the whole time, not just until he thinks hes not getting what he wants? I just didnt correct him when he entered zero dollars in the machine the second time. I had been calculating how much to give him for a tip on my second bill in my head, but after he acted like that, I thought forget it. I do plan to go in there again over the holidays as I love their food, especially their holiday meal and like I said I have a gift card, but if I get the same server I wont be tipping. If I get another server who is polite and patient while I pay, I will tip. I didnt deserve that treatment. Servers shouldnt be standing over customers trying to assert themselves for a tip. And like I said, the ironic thing was his little tantrum he threw when he thought he wasnt getting a tip is actually what caused him not to get a tip. I hope I have a better experience and hopefully a different server next time I go in.
