Swiss Chalet in Toronto

Got the quarter chicken dinner. Rice was so rancid I took 2 bites now I have food poisoning. So disgusting like how long has it been sitting in the fridge.

I didnt go to this place yet.

Waiting nearly 3 hours for my Thanksgiving order. This service is so bad its criminal.

Always fresh. Always hot. Great service at this location. Recommend.

Incompetent, with a bad attitude towards the client, rudeness, impoliteness. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone, the owners do not look after the staff

Quite literally prison food. Everything I ordered here tasted like at least two weeks old. It s also very expensive. $20 for an old sandwich meal. Run.

Around 19.00 pm . 9 March 2024 I don t know her name but I just want to tell how she look a fatty white lady. She is so rude and she has big mouth . She don t know at all how to talk with customer. I don t know how she got this job. I ask her when my food going to be ready. Her answer was I don t know sir I m busy like she shout. If you don t like your job what u doing there. She ruined my day and mentally she really distrub me. Who ever reading this message. Let her to read this. Don t do this ever to anybody.

It might have been because it was late evening after 9pm. The fries were the hotest part of my order. The soup and sauce were refrigerator cold, and I needed to as that the spup be heated. Which they did to just barely warm. Instead of saying that they were out of dark meat and telling me they would need 10 mins, my chicken arrived juat after I sat down, and it too was cold. Im very disappointed. I will only be able to come earlier in the day, I guess. Yet orders were flying out the door. I hope they were hot, at least.

Rude and unprofational staff

They wont sell you a kids meal. So, my kids asked me for chicken Tenders, so I left them with my husband at the park and I walked around the corner to go pick up a chicken tenders kids meal. It costs almost $10. But, instead of them taking my $10 and giving me a chicken tenders kids meal in return, they told me that they needed the child to be physically present. I suggested that this was kind of nuts. They dont seem to care about making money. Frankly, I even offered to FaceTime my kids in but no, they wanted them to be present in the restaurant. I honestly cant imagine a worse way to run a business, its not as if I was trying to buy and eat the kids meal, but even if I was- why would that be a problem? They told me that I needed to spend $$$ on my own meal in order to purchase a kids meal and that the child needed to be physically present - are you kidding me? Are you seriously kidding me? And the fact that theyre making the employees the bearers of this bad news is the thing thats really shocking. Come on, do better.

Staff were nice and they honored my coupon. The chicken was pink inside and looked undercooked. Fries were like been seating and cold . Some red string was on my friend chicken and they said its how the chicken is. Would not recommend this place. I do not ever make bad reviews. Service was great though got my food less than 5 min .

We tried 2 Harv burgers which were bad. Looks like the meat patties were frozen and defrosted shortly before preparation... anyway, the last time

I have had multiple unprofessional experiences with the delivery men who I would describe as aggressive. I have complained many times. Most recently the issues were around his demand for a tip. At what point will management see the patterns and decide to switch to a different delivery person?

The food at Swiss Chalet is what you would expect it to be, but much more expensive than before. I prefer going when there are deals going on. The atmosphere isnt the greatest, but I always take it to go.

I have been coming to Swiss Chalets for over 50 years, today I asked if I could have an extra sauce, I was told that I have to pay for that. I have never been told that before. I will not be coming back to this store. The staff are unhelpful Never again

Will never go back. It was advertised as a dining room. It is a take out place with a few tables . It was loud and had roughly 25 delivery people waiting around for orders . My chicken was undercooked. The staff was pleasant enough. But still not an enjoyable dining experience

Today, my company had our staff and volunteer holiday luncheon catered by this Swiss Chalet location. 50 adults left happy and fully satisfied! Not a single complaint. We picked up our food, ready on time and they were fresh and still steaming hot. The chicken was cooked well, rice was seasoned well, mashed potato with gravy was delish, salad was crisp and colourful. Stuffing and buns and chalet sauce, all turned out well! Jaenaline took such great care of us. She provided us with all that we needed plus more! She did not miss a single detail. A big THANK YOU to the management and team. We pulled a successful event because of you!!!

Had a work event on Friday for 50 people and the service we received from Jaenaline and her team was par excellence. We received generous portions of chicken, fries, rice, mashed, rolls, sauce etc. which was fresh and delicious.

A Harveys with swiss chalet menu options. The worst Ive had in a long time. Dont.

Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon. Was pretty sure there was no bacon on it, was assured by the staff that there was. Just to make sure, I checked before I left the restaurant amd sure enough, no bacon. Staff scraped off the condiments and onion from the burger and asked the cook to put bacon on it rather than making a new burger. My second order was missing the side that came with it. Not coming back here again

Ordered delivery and they missed one of our dinners. Tried to call the store and they kept hanging up on us. Called the delivery number and after 15 minutes got someone who put a rush order on it. Got here 70 minutes later. Completely cold. I get that these are challenging times but the absolutely minimum of customer service is giving me what I paid for. Disappointed I can t give them a zero.

No stars whatsoever would be more appropriate. Delivered late, cold and missing an item. Complained and they refused to refund my 15% tip as requested. Instead I got a $10 credit on my next order from a restaurant that I dont want to order from.... any recommendation os a local Chuuasco?

Ordered dinner here tonight and my chicken was delivered pink and still slightly raw. Major food safety issue. Trying to get a hold of someone at the store is impossible.

The food was abysmal both the taste and the quantity. I had a burning in my chest the whole night after eating this. For the price of the dishes here better save your money and your health. Never again.

Delivery driver forced my buddy to tip him for my own order with my card. Not only did the driver not check the ID to make sure it was the right person, but he just let any person sign for a tip on my card. It was only 3$ and I don t even really care about it. I care that the driver intimidated my friend with big anxiety issues into tipping him. I ve been a delivery driver with terrible nights. But I would never bother the customer for a tip. Terrible

I ordered a quarter chicken dinner with white meat and got home to see it was pink throughout, basically raw and dangerous to eat, so I chucked it in the garbage. I ate the fries though so they get a star for that. Its ironic that the staff are masked up for safety in July 2022, and then selling raw chicken masquerading as a safe meal.

Really unprofessional stuff

Didnt have a great experience here at all. Their sauces were just off somehow, no taste and just thickened with gelatin or corn starch. Definitely, not a place I would recommend.

I work at Swiss chalet, but I didn t have my discount card, i opened my Jarvis app and showed the supervisor that I was also a supervisor and she refused to give me a 20 percent discount, she was rude and my food take really long. It was not busy at all here, this happened on Wednesday December 7th at around 5:50pm! Service is slow and terrible

Good food, value for the money

This is the second time my order has been terrible. Fries were burnt. Chicken was dry. Donuts didnt have any dipping sauce. Chalet sauce was extremely watery.

It s a franchise, but not all franchises are created equal. This one is well staffed with friendly front of house. Well ventilated ( ventilation in this COVID era is important to me ) we enjoyed eating in ! Clean, prompt , friendly.

Worst Swiss Chalet restaurant in Mississauga probably in the planet. They never miss to mess up our order for delivery. They would always forget one thing or two. Thanks giving was ruined because of missing items like cranberry sauce, and a pie.. not to mention the pies look like they were cut by a toddler (I will try to upload a photo) and the fries are soggy. I hate this place.

My son bit down on a bone found in a pulled rib sandwhich it was the length of a big toe. Please double check your order because God only knows what you can get in a meal now of days. Its Thanks Giving and believe me Im thankful and especially grateful my son hadnt choked on that bone! But still. Putting peoples lives at risk! Whats wrong with the management and staff at this location? Seriously! Btw that fork was out own as we didnt receive utensils or even a drink that was paid for.

I have ordered food yesterday in your location my order number is 20211208 2424034. The person came to deliver my food was extremely rude to me, started insisting me to give him tips. And he was also 8minutes late and he didn t even apologize for that. When I refused to give him the tip, he told something about me while walking back but i am pretty sure it was not English. I need a reply from you people for this kinda behaviour.

I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting Swiss Chalet delivered to not use there website as the person that delivers will make you sign a receipt at your door and then take that receipt and write there own tips on it. This happened to me last night and they processed it multiple times until every dollar was takin out of my account. Apparently the restaurant does not keep the receipts (probably to cover there tracks) and did not take anything seriously until i started kicking over trash cans and orders they made. Hope that delivery guy gets fired and if not I hope he does it again to someone else and they make there way down there to beat his a$$ because what ya ll do over there is fraud and messed up especially during times people can be struggling.

Nice restaurant. The food is nice, though its better if you can go there when theres a promo or if you have a coupom. Itll cost you half if not 1/3 of the price.

Last night we ordered thanksgiving meals instead of cooking ourselves. In the past I stopped ordering swiss chalet as the fries were soggy and the chicken was greasy.... Not the case here!! Everything was perfectly cooked, the fries were crisp and plentiful, the sauce was hot and the pumpkin pie was delicious... it saved me 6 hours in the kitchen and tasted amazing. Thank you so much!

I ordered a pickup takeaway order at this Harvey s Swiss Chalet restaurant location as I had another highly satisfactory experience. The service was excellent and the staff working there were as outgoing as ever! I always enjoy visiting this Harvey s Swiss Chalet restaurant location and I look most greatly forward to coming back to order from them again soon. I really recommend paying a visit to this Harvey s Swiss Chalet restaurant location as they never disappoint. Most of all, I m always satisfied with the quality as well as the variety of the food and drink options along with the exceptional service from the wonderful team working there as they always go to great lengths to exceed my expectations! We went in to pick up the family meal deal and for the 2nd time they forgot the Swiss Chalet sauce. The first time maybe it was an over sight, but 2 times?? Will not go back to this location.

They messed up my order

Portion size for the 2 for 15.99 was a joke. We ordered that plus 1 white meat meal and I shared my white meat meal with the 2 family members. Better training on cash is advised as well.Also I reported to one of the clerks, that the womens washroom facility needed some TLC. I am a retired housekeeper and I would not ever recommend your location for washroom services. Yes, you are under construction, but there is no need to keep that service dirty. Poop was on the floor that someone tried to wipe up. the hand railings down to the washroom have not seen a wet cloth wash in a while. And the toilet would no flush. Disgusting.

How can they be in bussines? So so so bad. Everything is so bad,insipid. Service is bad, ppl are indifferent. Im 48. Never seen a place so bad. Must be studied at business school to show students how a bad establishment could be.

Great service

This place became really awkward since it is sharing the same spot with Harvey s which is another brand of fast food that sells hamburger s! The two business are very different and It is hard to understand the menu. The staff is not very interested in offer good customer service. Looks like both brands are declining and they just decided to sell the leftover. The experience was really desappointing. I do not recommend anybody to go in this place.

This was the worst Swiss chalet/ Harvey s experience ever the food was terribly cold and I m talking cold. I stuck my finger in my chicken breast and there was no heat applied the fries stone cold I got a poutine and my gravy instantly congealed due to cold fries and the cheese curds were still frozen. Not to mention the god awful strawberry milkshake that was so runny it was more like strawberry milk with too much sugar and it was salty. Not quite what I was in the mood for that day. I am in the food industry myself and I would be horrified if I served someone any of the food that I was served today where is a food manager making sure customers food is going out hot and delicious certainly not here at this location. Don t go here if you want hot yummy food.

I ordered the family pack golden crispy chicken today and it was the worst chicken I ve ever had. Just tasteless and I felt I was eating cardboard. Also the chicken wasn t cook fully. My wife was very disappointed! This is my first time to give this review. CARA YOU NEED TO FIX THIS. Never going to eat at Swiss chalet again! Waste of money!

best dipping sauce ever

This is not a superior location to the old Swiss Chalet on Eglinton Ave East, which closed down a few years ago, but its still pretty fair. The food is cheap, and fairly fast. A nice place to dine with friends or family.

Every time I order delivery I do not tip the driver because they always get to me just on time or later & when i dont tip them they become rude & that just enforces my no tip policy If they want a tip ask the store for it & at the prices they charge for the service they should be ashamed to ask for a tip

Everytime we gone, they always got orders done right and fast. staff is friendly and welcome you when you approach the counter. swiss chalet is usually a 15 min wait but thats how it is at any of them. harveys is about 5-10 to get it ready for you. 10/10 would eat there again.

Had a great lunch here. This location is both a Swiss Chalet and Harveys. I got a quarter chicken with a poutine combo, which took a bit of time to prepare, but the staff on duty named Tanvir had me sit and served me my food! Tanvir was so courteous and patient with even the rude and impatient customers while managing the cash and service roles.

The worst service. They really dont understand basic concept. Whatever you do, dont order the chicken pot pie - they will tell you 15 minutes but it will take around 40 - with no one. Ask for a refund - they say 5 min and they told me it would take 15 minutes so why are you upset? Ridiculous. Incompetence at its finest.
