The Burrito Bros (Richmond) in Toronto

I ordered on uber eats and canceled the order within 30 seconds but they charged me full amount. I called the place in a period of one week and left 3 messages to rectify the issue but no one even calls back. The staff has poor business ethics ask customer service.

The best burrito spot in the city! The sauces are flavorful and the portions are hefty and priced fairly. The breaded chicken is fried and seasoned to perfection.

Will never eat here again. Ground beef in quesadilla is greasy, and the medium quesadilla option is so spicy my nose and eyes are running and my face is sweating. And Im no stranger to spicy food. Also, the burrito sauce tastes more like the buffalo sauce?????

they messed up my order twice, staff tends to ignore you after you paid, not too tasty, there is another better burrito place directly 2 blocks south, would Not recomend

For takeout, order ahead for faster service. Only 2 or 3 tables for dine in. Multiple delivery services (Uber, Door Dash etc) always coming in and out the door so it s busy! Food is always excellent! Both times I have eaten in and place is small. Not the greatest for dine in but it works.

Better to avoid this place. They have the worst food and having the food gave me a stomach ache. Never gonna order from them again. And besides that their behaviour is not that professional. Only one person works there. He is using the gloves to take order packing and everything. Really should take a look in the cleanliness.

Got student chicken special which includes Chicken burrito filled with all veggies. The ingredients were well saute with the mild spice sauces. The $8.99 deal really justifies the quality and quantity.

Ive ordered from Burrito Bros several times now and theyve been fairly consistent in how high the quality is. I usually crave fries with a burrito and they have by far the best fries - you might say thats because they also do burgers but thats never a guarantee of good fries. The Burritos are at least on par with Burrito Boyz if not better. I usually get the beyond meat burrito which is great. But Ive also had the crispy battered shrimp and the fish. Both were amazing, the texture of the batter is perfect and the fish and shrimp are flavourful. My friend tried the steak and they liked it as well. The loaded fries are perfect when you ask for tex mex cheese instead of queso salsa, they arrive fresh, not soggy.

I got food poisoning from this place and ended up in the hospital. Not sure what the standard is that they have for cooking their chicken or anything in their kitchen but its definitely not safe. Avoid this place at all costs. Food

I ordered from Rujita 3 chicken rice wraps, sweet potato wrap & a rice bowl for me and my friends. They are all superb, tasty and absolutely filling! They have big servings which def hit the spot. Im coming back for seconds!

This place needs to hire more employees it s shocking how slow the service is. The employees are clearly overwhelmed and over worked. I ordered on Skipthedishes and the order said it was ready- I arrived and they told me they didn t even start preparing it as they were busy. The employees are great- it s the business owner making the mistake of not staffing enough people and over working the employees. No one is even in the front - the store front is empty when you walk in because they too busy in the back. The business owner can t even afford to staff a cashier. Also most of these reviews look fake because the food is really not great at all. It s an average burrito and one of the only places around to eat for lunch in the area.

Lazy and careless service

I spent $48 for two of these bowls. Look at the quantity. I previously ordered food and really loved it but this is unacceptable. It s not even enough as breakfast. Did you guys forget smthing with this order?

This quite honestly is the worst burrito I ve ever had. It s not edible. It s too watery, the rice was way too overcooked. There wasn t any lettuce where as I requested lettuce. I requested medium and it was also way too spicy. I genuinely couldn t eat it. I paid for 2 burritos not to mention other fees to get it delivered and it was terrible. I want some sort of refund.

Good downtown burrito joint comparable to Burrito Boyz & Chipotle, with tasty, flavorful ingredients stuffed into a sizable, filling portion size. Chances are, youll be paying a few bucks less than those perhaps more famous aforementioned burrito franchises, as the prices are very reasonable for the quality & quantity of grub youll be getting here. Must recommend the chicken burrito & the fries, both of which are quite good, especially swished down with a zesty mango or guava Jarrito, and have me coming back on the regular. Add to all this pleasant and prompt service from the regular staff, and youve got all you really need to satisfy your Tex-Mex food cravings.

Had a delicious chicken burrito today. Hot and fresh, packed with toppings. I got medium spice level and it was a true medium. Glad to have this new spot in the neighbourhood! UPDATE: I had to come and update my review because I just had a steak burrito and it was just as delicious as the first chicken one I had two months ago. Goes nice with the mango drink they have. I can tell they are trying very hard to provide good service. I hope they continue to do well. Will be back! Update again: love these guys. Today I had a pan seared shrimp burrito bowl. Good amount of shrimp and fresh toppings. I got a few less sauces on it this time because I noticed with all the (generous) sauces its a bit too soggy for my liking, so dont be afraid to customize! Service for call ahead pick up was friendly and quick. Also, I have to share that their fries are to die for. So delicious, comparable to New York Fries or Swiss Chalet fries. Their tortilla chips are also hot and fresh.

Ordered the chicken burrito bowl BOGO deal on Ubereats. The portion size was good, the bowl was filled, and the portions were not skimped on. On the down side, despite me ordering several sauces, the bowl had zero seasoning and flavour and the chicken looked like Indian-style chicken but without seasoning. I was really excited to try halal Mexican food downtown as it isn t easy to find but I was really disappointed. It would benefit from Mexican-style rice, refried beans, seasoned chicken, and more flavourful sour cream and burrito sauce. The place would be great for someone who d like a filling salad bowl with protein, but I wouldn t call this an actual burrito bowl :(

Got the chicken burrito bowl. Quite affordable even with guac. Cashier said 10 mins for the food but only ended up being 4-5 which was great. Very flavourful bowl and fresh toppings. Pretty generous helping too.

Got the smalls steak burrito and Chicken and the Chicken bowl. 5/5 on both. Steak cooked to perfection, fat was rendered perfectly, not dry.. wrap to filling ratio was just right too. Chicken bowl is great, right mix and amounts of everything, love the fact Spicy is actually legit spicy. Shouldve name yourselves The Burrito Pros instead.

New burrito place in the neighbourhood, noticed it while I was walking by the smells incredible outside you are intrigued to go inside. And this place didn t disappoint. Good portions, fresh food, and reasonably priced. Saarthak served us and is very helpful and patient, I will definitely be a regular. Only issue is it s extremely hot inside, I could only imagine how they work in the back. I have to wait outside for the food because unbearable.

We ordered two vegetarian burritos on Uber eats from The Burrito Bros, ended up with 2 burritos with shrimp in them. I m glad I was able to get a refund but you never know what s in a burrito until you bite into it. The worst part is seafood gives me severe migraine. I was extremely disappointed. We both were extremely ill and felt unwell for days. Vegetarian options: We never got our vegetarian burritos instead we got ones with shrimp in them. Dietary restrictions: Our dietary requests were ignored. We both have medical issues and have to eat vegetarian and were given shrimp burritos instead.

Update June 24 Im lowering the score because the response the owner gave to my review clearly shows that they didnt read the entire thing or they have no clue what theyre doing. Came here with two of my friends, I ordered three different types of tacos and a cheesy fries. Both my friends ordered steak burrito bowls with sides of chips and a drink. After a 10-minute wait our food was brought to us and all of our main dishes were cold. And one of our orders was missing its sides but that was quickly rectified. I personally enjoyed the tacos they look and pasted absolutely delicious however it would have been better if they were warm or hot. I had asked for my tacos to be hot and spice level but upon arrival there was barely any kick to them. I asked for hot sauce and they brought me there in-house hot sauce which tasted delicious and had a nice kick to it. My two friends were not happy with their steak burrito bowls and only ate half. My cheesy fries didnt have much seasoning to them so the taste was somewhat bland and the cheese sauce they put on which resemble Velveeta cheese was somewhat questionable. The place itself was very clean, no issues there.

Today, we ordered on Uber for pickup: 2 chicken quesadillas and 1 pan-seared shrimp bowl, along with a bag of chips. The pan-seared shrimp bowl was out of this world, and the chicken quesadillas were top-notch. Special thanks to Faysal and his crew member for delivering it on time.

First time I went the buritto was awesome, second time I felt like the food was either on hold in the back too long or expired and I asked for the smallest amount of hot sauce but was given what would be medium level hot sauce. Maybe that was better because the chicken tasted off and it gave me upset stomach for two days.

I was super excited to try this spot but got a completely different order on Uber Eats. I ordered 2 steak burritos with no hot sauce, cilantro or sour cream. The whole order I received was wrong. I received 2 chicken burritos with white rice (instead of brown), black beans (instead of Pinto) and hot sauce. Im extremely disappointed and I couldnt even eat them. The burrito didnt taste good but Im not sure if thats because it was all the ingredients I hate....

Good food for price. They have lots of great specials like happy hour special. Only problem is they need to season the rice give it a cilantro, lime flavor like how chipotle/other burrito spots do it. My burrito from here vs elsewhere is often bland just from that one problem of them not flavoring the rice. Got the burrito bowl and it was awful. It s tasteless, has a funky smell, and is drenched with a basic bland mayo sauce that they call a burrito sauce . Had two bites before losing my appetite. At least it did its job and im no longer hungry toronto has better burrito places than these bros

The best tasting burrito bowl for a very fair price, and they have great Happy Hour BOGO deals, I always get the Chicken Burrito Bowl.

Good and affordable comfort food , staff were great and polite , its unfortunate that paying by card does not allow to add tip . Recommended to try and will come back for sure
