We had dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday before a show. Service was friendly and well paced. Food was all good, nothing over the top amazing but good. I like the atmosphere and seating. At 6pm on a Friday it was not busy. Started to pick up when we left at 7.30.

Save your coin! The only good thing was the cheese fondue and the restaurant itself is very cozy and with cute interiors. Our server was in a rush and extremely curt she didn’t smile once. I went here with my friends to celebrate my early birthday the service and way we all were treated ruined our night. We were rushed to order, she recommended the chicken dish which is apparently the best, the meat was dry and chewy. My friend who ordered sushi took one bite and said it tasted odd we checked and something just didn’t taste okay the fish (salmon) seemed stale. When we informed our server she took the dish back and then we asked if she would recommend something instead she just expressed she will hand us a menu, my friend was dejected by her attitude. The only good thing in the mains was the poke bowl. Extremely disappointing service, I was so excited to go here, but sadly my customer service experience was a 0/10

Just visited this American classic gem at the corner of Yonge & Wellington. The cozy interior is impressive, but the food and service truly stole the show. We kicked things off with their warm cheese bread—SO GOOD! The cheese melts in your mouth, and the bread is baked to perfection. Seriously, the best cheese bread I’ve ever had. We also shared the tempura shrimp, which came with plenty of shrimp pieces. For drinks, we stuck with the classic Aperol spritz—always a safe bet. For mains, we had the fish & chips with Caesar salad, the super deluxe mac & cheese, and a Canadian flat iron steak. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. A special shoutout to the chef—an amazing person who really works magic in the kitchen! Highly recommend this place for good food and good times!

Solid place for lunch or dinner! Second round here already! FOOD All American food with a nice balance of flavours and textures. This time around, tuna tatami, beef scewers, and some brownie. All of the food was good, but not super memorable. It’s one of those places where you will enjoy food, but will not crave any particular dish, or will remember it. SERVICE The service was very attentive and well done. We always had drinks refilled and didn’t have to wait for a thing. ATMO It’s a very beautiful restaurant and we will surely come back. Being on the patio in the summer and enjoying drinks and live DJ, what else can you ask for?!

We tried out The Joneses for the first time during Summerlicious. Their food still has some room to improve but overall we had a great time. Our waiter was especially friendly too which we enjoyed. I was looking forward to the corn soup but for some reason I found it fell a little flat. I think a bit more corn or roasted flavour would have helped. The tuna tataki was a huge letdown and in hindsight, should have been returned. The tuna came cooked all the way through with totally white flesh, as if it was dropped in some boiling water and then plated. For our mains, we got the beef tenderloin skewers and barbecue brick chicken. The beef tenderloin was quite good. The flavour of the brick chicken was excellent but the chicken itself was very dry. I'd expect the white and dark meat to both be tender and juicy at this type of restaurant. We ended on a positive note with the peach panna cotta and brownies both executed well.

We had a fantastic experience at The Joneses. We walked over after seeing Wicked with family friends and it was well worth the easy walk! The 5:00pm reservation was perfect timing. Portions are very reasonable and we left feeling completely satisfied and impressed with the quality and flavour of every dish. One friend was absolutely in love with the aesthetic! The vibe was right, the staff was professional, and we will definitely be back one day.

Came the The Joneses for a dinner before a concert. It was so good, the food was fantastic. We ordered 1/2 dozen oysters, tempura shrimp, burrata salad, and lobster mushroom caps. All of it was beyond expectations, the drinks were also delicious! I got a lychee martini, which was so fresh and light. The espresso martinis are also great. I would 100% go back!

For a restaurant in the heart of the financial district, it exceeded expectations. Quality food and atmosphere, with expected above average pricing for location. Friend who ordered fish and chips seemed a bit disappointed in the portion, but the burger was great.

It was pretty good. Martini wasnt as dirty and dry as I would have liked. Beef fat fries were okay, not as rich as Ive had elsewhere. These are minor things. Fondue was tasty, cheese was great. The Big M Beef Tartare is a real star, its incredibly tasty. Saw the table next to us get the Detroit Style pizza and immediately had plate envy. Baked Alaska was beautiful and flamed at the table. Service was great. All in, pretty good.

Visually stunning, but gustatorily frightening for the value conferred. Nobody asked how we were enjoying our food, and it was not for lack of opportunity. I was disappointed to pay for food that was unenjoyable. I could not enjoyably finish my meal, so I didnt. Stay far, far away from the Detroit style pizza. Its not delivery, and its unfortunately not better than Delissio. I left hungry and dissapointed.

This place overall is a typical restaurant in the tourist area of the city. Overpriced for what you get. I d recommend it as a place to get a drink and a snack during happy hour. Cocktails were good, my partner loved the cheese bread. However the oysters were not the quality you d expect for the price they were charging. Stay away from those. The service was also lacklustre.

The restaurant is loud and not good for groups of more than 2-4. The atmosphere is very uninspired and sterile. Very square and uncomfortable. I wouldnt recommend it or go back.

Food was subpar for the price asked. Pizza is ridiculously small, 4 tiny squares. We ordered the main big Mac steak tartare, the ratio of dressing vs meat is mayonnaise with a little bit of meat. Dressing is overwhelming. Fries were so expensive as an extra. Wanted to order a cocktail, the waiter said were a high end restaurant, we cant leave the menu with you. In brief the first and last time there. One of the first times I was so disappointed by O&B.

The restaurant had nice decor and the waitress was friendly. However regarding the food - Steak tartare tasted like it tried to taste like a cheap hamburger on purpose with lettuce and pickles, soaked in way too much sauce. The salmon benny was on stale bread which tastes horrible and the smoked salmon was not fresh and seemed low quality, which also took ages to make when the restaurant wasn t busy. Very disappointed.

I was very happy with the experience. Food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. Menu gives off a more casual vibe with items like pizza and mac n cheese. However, these items are done very well. The drinks are great - try their lychee martini for a treat. The mac n cheese was excellent. I ve had a lot of mac n cheeses, they managed to make this quite unique with super sharp cheeses, a smoky vibe which I couldn t identity from the menu, and lots of cheese curds that gave amazing cheese pulls and texture without being too gooey. The pasta shape was nice fat shells that made it fun to eat. Portion was just right, great for a main but not too huge. Overall very happy with this dish and would try it again. The carrot cake dessert was also excellent, one of the best carrot cakes I ve had. Super moist, sweet but not too sweet, perfect cream cheese icing and lots of it. Again perfect size, just right to share for two. I would definitely come back to try the Detroit pizzas, the sushi, and some of the other menu items. The service was excellent - he was friendly, professional, and attentive without being too in our faces. I also liked the formal vibe - waiter was wearing a vest and looked/acted like he d walked out of a 19th century movie set! Butler vibes Finally, ambiance is cool. It s a modern, dressy place that feels nice enough for date night, despite the more casual type of food items. And the food items themselves are dressed up and made more interesting. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. The only thing I will note is the price of the tofu steak was absolutely ridiculous. Tofu costs $2 per packet and they were pricing it as if it was a real steak I believe around $30+ not including sides (ie. Just a slab of tofu and a sauce). Nothing can convince me a single piece of tofu is worth that, this is the type of pricing I would expect at a Michelin star restaurant. Update: came back and the food was excellent again. I did try the tofu steak with peppercorn sauce and while it s definitely overpriced, it was excellent. Very well done in terms of taste and texture, and it s really hard to get tofu right! It was chewy, dense, and so flavorful. Peppercorn sauce was delightful too and not spicy. The shiitake sushi was good but personally was missing the soy sauce and pickled ginger to add to it, I guess those are the flavors I associate with sushi. The cheese Detroit pizza was the only miss I ve tasted at this restaurant. The crust was too thin for a Detroit style, and it had this watery, tasteless ricotta on top that kind of ruined it for me. Broccoli side was excellent, they packed a lot of flavor into a simple veg. And the Mac and cheese is probably my favorite Mac in Toronto and it s my favorite food! So creamy, nice cheese curds, and perfectly al dente pasta. Super flavorful too. Mac and cheese is so often overcooked and bland, they have a winner here! Finally, the mocktails are good. Overall this restaurant is totally underrated and I m surprised it doesn t get talked about more or have a higher rating! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, especially if you eat cheese! Lots of tofu too though.

Overpriced, seemingly temporary restaurant with mediocre food, small drinks, and very average service. Had the porterhouse steak for 2 - $200 later, completely unsatisfied with the size and quality. Martinis were barely 2oz each. The sides were overstated and minuscule in size, barely enough to share. The restaurant looks like it was designed in an hour, terrible layout and lighting.

In short, my experience here was excellent in every way and it s definitely a place I d come back to with some trust that I will get a good experience the next time I come here too. Walked in without a reservation on a saturday morning for brunch. The indoor dining room is pretty extensive for seating, and they also have a pretty large outdoor patio that s covered. We were able to get a table right away and it wasn t very busy. The staff are all very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. It feels like a positive environment, and that people are treated well and enjoying what they re doing. Sounds pretty basic, but this is not something I d highlight about very many places I ve been to. Had the Hawaiian Spam and Egg Poke Bowl. There was a good amount of spam and it had a nice glaze on it. I appreciate the bit of citrus on the sliced avocado to keep it fresh and treat it somehow aside from just slicing them. The pineapple added a nice sweetness to the dish. I m curious though if it could ve been torched or grilled more on the blacker side how that might add more character to them. The rice was a nice texture, and was a decent amount of it - not like most poke bowls where it s an overwhelming component of the bowl quantity-wise. I also liked the edamame for some crunch. We wanted the Buttermilk Cheesecake Flapjacks, but wanted to share one order. I asked our server if she could ask the kitchen to plate the Flapjacks in two separate plates and there was no pushback on it at all. The chef was happy to oblige and even made a joke that there d be an extra charge if we didn t take photos of the dishes. These flapjacks were excellent. Loved the crunch with the way they were fried. They were warm and everything tasted well balanced without being too sweet. I also tried their spiked hot chocolate, and it had some coconut whipped cream on top. This was a nice way to end the meal and they were kind enough to even put it on the house. Really can t argue with the value you re getting with how much I enjoyed my time here with the professionalism and hospitality of the staff, as well as the quality of the food, and the atmosphere being elevated yet comfortable. Would be happy to come back here and would certainly recommend this place for others to try.

My sister found this place while looking for a reservation for 10 on Mothers Day. Its located at Yonge and Front so very much downtown with street parking as well as underground parking in the building. Service was professional and accommodating with all hands on deck. Our server was genial and able to answer questions about the menu. Not the regular menu so not sure how much translates. Prix fixe menu so ordered appetizers were: shrimp cocktail (4 large shrimp, delicious sauce with honey mustard) and baked scallops (complex mixture in shell). Ordered some garlic cheese bread too...freshly baked and super delicious! Mains were: half roast chicken...crispy and thankfully chopped to make it manageable; steak Neptune (rib eye topped with crabmeat and fresh béarnaise with Tarragon) and classic New York strip. I swooned over my brothers fries and they kindly surprised us with two orders of them so we could all sample them! They were the bomb! Dessert was mostly the coconut cream pie ice cream but the carrot cake certainly deserves a shout-out (massive serving) and a delightful version of key lime pie. My only note would be to serve the double espresso in the espresso cup and not the standard coffee cup. We were asked about how the bill was to be handled when we arrived (an very important point) so that made for a smooth exit process. Would absolutely return if only to sit at the gorgeous bar with a glass of wine and snack on those french fries again! Wheelchair accessibility: I used crutches and found the place to be very accessible.

Great food and service when we visited and the ambiance was really cool. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I got the mac and cheese and it was great with the parmesan crust. We were able to get some pretty nice cheese pulls too. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that its a bit pricey but youre paying for the convenient location.

The service is exceptional here and the decor and ambiance makes for an enjoyable dining experience. The food I had was ok. The Greek salad was fresh and tasty and that creamy feta was the bomb. The tuna poke bowl was ok. It was a lot of salty notes but nothing to balance it IMHO. Apple crumble dessert was very good.

I came here on a Thursday night with some colleagues and it wasn t too busy. Food and drinks here were overall amazing and they also had happy hour for three specific drinks ($9/drink). I ordered the steak tartare as a main, it was great but nothing too memorable about this dish. There is definitely room for improvement with the service here, the hostess brought me to the wrong table and never came back to bring me to the area where my colleagues were sitting. It was an awkward 5 minutes of just figuring out where my party was at. The waiter also kicked us out after 2 hours noticing we were not going to order anymore food or drinks. The restaurant was not busy at all, I didn t think it was necessary to tell us to leave after we just paid.

Pleasantly surprised by the level of service and delicious food options. The cheese bread is a must order item for apps, oysters were nice and fresh with a spicy cocktail sauce, and the bartenders know how to serve up a cocktail! Our server Nolan was amazing! Friendly, funny, attentive, & knowledgeable. Great for date night, girls night out, and even a bday dinner if you re more of a low key vibes kind of person. It was busy, but not crowded or noisy. Seating is well spaced in most parts, and the aesthetic is modern/minimal, clean, and not overly lit (lighting). I d definitely go back!

I was heading into the Meridian Hall and made a reservation and dropped into The Joneses for dinner before I headed over. The place was definitely loud when we got there but the turned down the volume after we were there for a bit. We didn t ask but they did that in their own which was nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the place was very clean. A little dark but that s the norm for most places these days. First of all, DONT BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE ON TIK TOK, it s a fraud. The waitress was honestly mean and ruined the dining experience. The food was meh, nothing special, especially for the price. We had the calamari, the lobster gnocchi and the mac and cheese. The calamari was not the light, crispy, delicious calamari you expect. The breading is extremely thick and they put so much of this weird smokey spice on it that is ruins the flavour of the calamari and left a bad taste in our mouths. The mac and cheese was good but the sauce didn t easily cover the noodles which ruined it. Would have been happier with kraft dinner. As for the gnocchi it was an odd texture, very overcooked and the sauce was nothing special, extremely overpriced for what you got. On top of the sub-par food the drinks were around 20$ each and had NO ALCOHOL, it was literally juice. I don t mind paying 20$ for a good, strong, yummy cocktail but that s not what you re gonna get here. They also pre batch all the house cocktails so they aren t made fresh to order. Odd too. We asked to pay for a double in order to actually get actual alcoholic drinks, and they said it wasn t possible. As for atmosphere, the restaurant is nice but they sat us in a secluded area which ruined our people watching experience and was kinda odd to be put in a room all alone when the other rooms weren t even full. All in all, I don t recommend this at all and suggest you go to any other restaurant. Thanks! Sincerely, Two girls who just wants good food and drinks!

Great concept but flawed execution. Upon being seated we noticed the jarring music that was better suited to a rave. Certainly detracted from the mid century modern decor and dining experience. Brubeck, Bacharach or even Bossa Nova would have been a better choice as opposed to the relentless auditory assault. We decided to sample a range of appetisers of which the oysters were the star of the night. The mushroom caps sounded enticing but were strangely insipid. The calamari was fine and the apple crumble dessert was pleasant. However the beef fat fries looked as if they had escaped from the bargain freezer at No Frills and were quite ordinary. The menu itself seemed disjointed with no overarching flow to suit the theme. Would perhaps have been better to riff on some mid century classics instead of a bit of a hodge podge of pseudo Americana. Cocktails were quite good and our sever was magnificent. Bravo Claire. All in all a bit disappointed as we wanted to love the place as the concept was intriguing but it sadly fell short of expectations.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here last week. First the vibe: Lots of energy, but not so overpowering that we had to strain to hear one another and the server. The lighting is perfect and the tables are close together but not on top of one another. Second, the service: Our server was training another server so both attended at our table. Both were genuinely gracious, helpful and accommodating. The food: We started with the crab stuffed mushroom caps which were served in a garlic butter sauce (delicious), and a jumbo shrimp cocktail - large shrimp, with a lemon butter aioli. The shrimp were perfect, and large enough for multiple bites. I had the 10-ounce striploin which was cooked as ordered - medium rare; plated with broccolini spears. My wife had the all-dressed smash burger which she enjoyed very much. For dessert we ordered the O & B carrot cake (the best!) and the dense chocolate cake. I would say that one dessert shared by the two of us would have been sufficient, but hey, it was our anniversary. Overall, it was a truly delightful evening. Highly recommended!

I went for dinner and when we got there, it was busy, but nothing crazy. It is very spacious and has a warm ambiance. Staff is friendly but could definitely use some work. We were neglected a decent amount of the time.. we waited for our drink order to be taken and they just kept walking by, luckily another staff member noticed and took our order. Once our drinks were brought, we asked for a straw and again, we were neglected until we asked someone else. The fried calamari was okay - kind of chewy and salty in some spots so I think it was overcooked. The dipping sauce was really good. What saved it was the pizza, I ordered the Hawaiian bee sting and it was really good. The dough was soft, had a bit of sweetness, spiciness. I usually don t like a Hawaiian pizza but this, I enjoyed. I tried a few bites of their Mac and cheese: it was good but not a mac and cheese by any means.

Came to the Joneses for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon after seeing at least 5 different Tiktok videos about this place. Here are my thoughts: Food - if you are going to come to this place, an absolute must is the Big Mac Tartare. This was by far the best Tartare I ve ever had and the cherry on top it did stay true to the name - tasting exactly like a Big Mac. The pizza, Detroit style is personally not my preference however the flavours were great and is something you should try once. Since we did come for lunch, we didn t get a chance to try one of the bigger steaks, however we tried the 7oz offered on the lunch menu which was accompanied with a sauce of your choice. We chose the cognac peppercorn sauce, which we both agreed the steak did not need the sauce. The steak was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We finished up this trip with the Mac and cheese as seen on each of the 5 tiktoks, which was slightly overrated but still pretty good. Service - the service was fantastic! Marvin took care of us and the manager brought out our dishes after specifying we had an allergy at the table. Both of them did a fantastic job and their attention to detail was evident having touched our table at least 10 times. Ambiance - the interior design job was spectacular. They had a wide array of different couches, tables, chairs all brought together a very elegant and exquisite experience. Cherry on top was the roof - wood panels gave for a nice feel. Overall, for a Resturant that opened 5 weeks ago, I would certainly spread the word about my positive experience and look forward to returning soon.

The happy hour is pretty good at The Joneses. But not all cocktails are in the happy hour. I wish they were clear about it. Only mint julep, old fashioned and one other drink was in the happy hour. So it can be a bit misleading. The mixologist, Jeff, was friendly and told us about some other good places in the area as hes been around the Toronto food and drink scene for a while. The cheese bread that looks like cinnamon rolls is so amazing. I think this elevated our happy hour experience. The ambiance is nice but very bright. I recently visited The Joneses for dinner and had an amazing time. Our server, Luke, was a gem knowledgeable and full of great recommendations. We started our evening with the Passion Pit and Heart of Darkness cocktails, both of which were wonderful. The culinary journey continued with the heavenly cheese bread, a delightful play on a big mac in the form of steak tartar, and perfectly executed tempura shrimp and spicy calamari. The oysters were a fresh and delightful addition to our feast. While the artichoke dip left something to be desired and wouldnt get my recommendation, the scallop crudo special with mustard foam proved a bit overpowering for my taste buds. On the whole, the experience was fantastic, and Id happily return. The Joneses is a short walk from Union Station near Meridian Hall. The restaurant is sort of hard to find because it cannot be found on google street view (as of 2024-01-09). As soon as you enter the restaurant there is someone waiting in order to take you to the seating area towards the back of the restaurant. The seating area is cozy with comfortable seats, with one of the seats even being a comfortable couch type seat. There are TVs along the middle of the restaurant and towards the back of the seating area. This makes it tough for the person who is sitting on the couch side since the TV that is in view for them is nearly half the restaurants length away. Ordering: There are a bunch of specialty drinks, and food options on the menu. Cost: I paid around $78 including tax for my main, one drink and splitting half an appetizer, tips included. Wait Time: I went on a Tuesday around 6:30 PM. I had made a reservation via opentable so when I got to the restaurant my seats were available. There were some seats that looked opened around that time but the restaurant was pretty busy so it might be good to book your seating in ahead of time. The Food: I got the popcorn shrimp tempura as an appetizer, I got the All-Dressed Smash Burger as my main, and I got the cocktail Scallywag as my drink. The shrimp tempura is what you would expect nothing too special about it, it comes with a dressing too for dipping. The Smash Burger was a huge disappointment. Ive had smash burgers from Jabs, Grillies, Rosies and more places and the Smash Burger from The Joneses might be the worst Ive had. At that moment in time I was eating that All-Dressed Smash Burger I was thinking wow Im eating a $29 McDouble. The fries that came with the smash burger were equally as disappointing. Half the fries tasted as they should with the other half tasting like the oil has never been changed. (might be a problem with whatever fat they used to make the fries). I was able to get some hot sauce from the waitress but the sauce wasnt exactly spicy at all; it did have the tiniest of kicks but overall not spicy. The cocktail was good albeit I stabbed myself on the prickly leaf they put inside the glass which is taller than the glass itself. Overall: The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, waitress and the other staff were very attentive and friendly. The main dish I got was unfortunately not good. The restaurant is spacious. Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

The hostess, due to a full booking, asked us to switch to a two-person table (which is fine and understandable!) but her demeanor was rude and unfriendly. I went out on a double date with my hubby and our friends we decided to check out The Joneses after seeing a few influencer tiktoks, we thought it would have to be good with all this rave. We can all definitely confirm the feeling was mutual to all the videos we had seen. The restaurant is a chic yet welcoming restaurant with fantastic aesthetics. It is a perfect blend of modern and homely vibes. Our server Eugenia was a standout knowledgeable, attentive, and truly an asset to the restaurant. She guided us through the menu, offering insightful suggestions that perfectly complemented the ingredients in each dish. Was funny and very sweet as well. For a newer restaurant they have done a great job with training their staff to work together and provide great service. The food we all picked was delightful it all tasted even better than it looked. My only complaint is that it gets pretty cold where we were sitting every time the door opened. We were somewhat closer to the door. We also definitely liked the ambience of the space better when the lights were turned down found them a bit bright at first. But this does not take away from the lovely experience we had at this restaurant! The overall experience was a delightful balance of great food, stylish ambiance, and exceptional service. The Joneses is indeed worth visiting. Dietary restrictions: Our server was very tentative with this as we had one person with very strict restrictions. She made him feel less anxious about naming everything and patiently helped him pick the best options on the menu for him.

We had such a fab dinner at The Joneses. Im gluten intolerant and had such a good experience. We started with the Big M beef tartar (with chips instead of bread) and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. For my main I had the tuna poke bowl and it was so good. This place has such a cool vibe and would be great for happy hour drinks too (the cosmos were delish). Our server Hosaena was great too. Highly recommend checking it out! Dietary restrictions: They had enough gluten free options (or workarounds) that I felt I had enough choice with the menu and would go back to try other things.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at The Joneses in Toronto that left me with a big smile on my face. Let me start by telling you about the dessert that fulfilled my childhood dreams - The Joneses Sundae Spectacular. This delightful creation featured creamy vanilla gelato, whipped cream, coconut, chocolate, amarena cherry, and sprinkles. It was a nostalgic and indulgent treat that brought back fond memories and satisfied my sweet tooth. Now, lets talk about the burger. The All-Dressed Smash Burger at The Joneses is truly something special. It embodies everything you could want in a burger - juicy, flavorful patties, fresh toppings, and a perfectly balanced combination of textures and flavors. Each bite was an absolute perfection!! Now, onto the Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes salad. The freshness of the ingredients combined with the creamy burrata and the tangy notes of the aged apple cider vinegar created a harmonious blend of flavors. It was a refreshing and satisfying salad that showcased the restaurants commitment to quality ingredients and attention to detail. Overall, my dining experience at The Joneses was exceptional. From the childhood dream dessert to the incredible burger and the delicious salad, every aspect of the meal was thoughtfully prepared and delivered with attentive service. If youre looking for a place that offers mouthwatering food and incredible service, The Joneses is a must-visit.

Oh wow, where do I even start with the fabulosity that is The Joneses! Right in the heart of downtown Toronto, my girlfriend and I stepped into what felt like a culinary wonderland on their opening day! From the get-go, the vibe was just - brand spanking new and shiny, giving off those first day of school feels. The staff? Absolute gold stars! They were hustling with smiles, politeness, and that we got this attitude. You could tell they were new to the scene, but man, did they impress! Lets talk eats! The Peanut Butter Jelly Foie Gras had us at home-made toast - that comfort food level was over 9000! The Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes were a vision on a plate, although they played it safe on the taste buds. Burger aficionados, listen up! The All-Dressed Smash Burger is a smokey mustard mayo dream come true. The fries? Oh, they had their own spotlight, totally stole the show! My girlfriends 7oz Flat Iron Steak was a solid performance, but the Caesar salad and fries duo were the unexpected hit of the night! Dessert was like the grand finale of a fireworks show - especially my Sundae Spectacular . Picture this: vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, coconut clusters, chocolate pieces, cherries, sprinkles, and a sparkler! Yes, a sparkler! It was the kaboom moment of our evening! The only tiny cloud in our sunny dining experience was the prices - a tad on the ouch side of the wallet. But you know what? For the amazing atmosphere, top-notch staff, and those moments of wow with every bite, Id say it was worth it. The Joneses, youve got two new fans, and we cant wait to come back for more!

Calamari was excellent. Not chewy. Portions not so great. Got a burger. Honestly a really good tasting juicy burger. However it was poorly constructed. Too much sauce made it slippery to hold. Sauce dripping everywhere. Don t wear nice clothes unless you want sauce all over your shirt and pants. Got the lobster/shrimp roll. Portions were extremely tiny. You can count the number of lobster pieces in each bun. Not worth it. Nothing special about the atmosphere. Servers were nice. Beer menu was decent. Overall ok experience but nothing special.

If you go here, and you don t go get the cheesy bread, you ve made a terrible error. It s beyond elite. Like, better than dominos cheesy bread. Ya, your initial reaction is really, dominos?.. but we all know how good that cheesy bread is (or was it s dead to me now. I only eat cheesy bread at The Joneses going forward).

Newly-opened lunch spot in Financial District is sure to be a fan favourite for those who work in the area. The vibe is very relaxed and colourful which offers a nice getaway from the office for a team lunch. Recommend the Truffle Mushroom Pizza and the Beef Tartare to start followed by either the Salmon Poke or Fish and Chips.

We have had dinner here twice since it opened. We arrived a bit early for our reservation, so we sat at the bar for a drink. The gentleman bartender was so personable and the service was great. Very nice vibe up at the bar. For dinner, our server Luke was easy to talk to, attentive and he had good timing on all food delivery. The bartender, Esti, made a custom drink for me because I was looking for a dessert cocktail with specific flavors. It was amazing. Overall, we love this restaurant. Well be back!

Went to The Joneses for a team lunch and it was amazing! Food was delicious and the space/design is stunning. We got pizzas to share which were delicious, alongside a variety of sides. The Greek salad was an unexpected favourite and the beef fat fries and onion rings are a must-try (the dipping sauce is perfection)! Need to return for happy hour cocktails and dinner as I imagine the vibe there in the evening is great.

I have been to the Joneses twice now and have had a great experience each time. First thing you notice is the space is open and beautiful - day or night. The colours, textures and materials all work together to create an upscale, classy, and nostalgic feeling place with little fuss. I only wish they would turn the lights down a little lower at dinner hour to turn up the cozy vibes. The Restaurant features a number of different spaces and seating options, which is great as it makes the restaurant appropriate for different occasions. When out on a date we sat at the bar and when having some drinks with friends we sat in the lounge. There is plenty of great seating for dining as well. I suggest avoiding the high top seating if you plan to dine as it is better suited for group socials. The menu really has options for every person and any occasion, yet doesnt feel overwhelming. You cant leave without trying the Warm Cheese Bread and the Big M Beef Tartare. Lastly, the happy hour is a great deal with $6 beers and $10 cocktails until 6pm!

The Joneses was a great spot for drinks & dinner before a show. I really enjoyed the retro vibe and beautiful interior design. They have a great happy hour, and we made it in time to order $9 martinis. The apple martini was tasty and not too sweet. We loved the steak tartare and the pizza, which is definitely large enough for 2 people. The only thing I would recommend is to dim the lighting slightly to enhance the cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is nice. Our food arrived lukewarm but was tasty. Our server was nice but forgot about us at the end of our meal. The bathrooms were really dirty. We ate early in the evening so it was not dirty from a night of busy guests. It was dirty like they never clean it. Just really gross. So if the bathroom is that gross whats the kitchen like? I dont think that Ill eat there again....
