We celebrated my birthday tonight. Monica our waitress was sensational and it was very quiet & empty of course on a Monday night so we got great attention. Food was fabulous!! Will certainly be back!

Was here recently having been to the keg many times. The food quality at this location was by far the worst. Our table had 3 blackened chickens and 1 steak. The blackened chicken was not anywhere close to in taste as it is at other locations. Asked for the steak to be well done, you see that it came out about medium in the pic a big difference. Lastly disappointing to see they no longer have Coke products

This location used to be great, I went back tonight and had the worst customer service at a keg. Walked in at 10:15 pm. We didn t get greeted. Just a blank stare. We asked to be seated in the dinning room. They said it was closed which didn t make sense as we saw people that just sat down. Also they didn t close until 12pm. We were told to just sit anywhere in the bar Which I found odd at a high end restaurant . We walked the whole bar area awkwardly we couldn t find not one clean table to sit at. When we went back to ask to have a table cleaned eyes were rolled and they went without out saying anything. At this point I was extremely tuned off by the whole experience . I just left and went to the Montanas that was down the street . Guess what? The service there was perfect and friendly . they actually wanted my business!!

First Time at this location and have no regrets, prime rib and peppercorn steak was amazing.

So far one of the best the keg restaurant that cooked my steak the way i wanted and it was very delicious, well presented. Service no complain in any of the keg, they do have all good service. Atmosphere for a lunch time was very nice. Food : 5/5

Would definitely return. The restaurant was pretty packed even though we had a very early 5:30 reservation, so service took quite a while to greet us. But they were very friendly and attentive once they had a chance , and the delay was understandable as they were very busy. We actually had two servers attend us because it looked like there were a lot of holiday gatherings and it seemed as though they were teaming up, which is great. The food was the Keg s standards . Always reliable and tasty .

Consistency is the kegs best feature

Just went for dinner to celebrate our upcoming honeymoon. Mary-Anne was our server and she was amazing! Super attentive and very friendly & professional. The food was all very delicious as well, my steak was cooked perfectly. Everything came out in a quick fashion which was great. She even brought us out a celebratory cake which was such a nice surprise. It was so good. All in all a great time was had by us all.

My fiancée and myself went to dinner here 11/21/24 - Christina was our server - she was an absolute delight, I can say she was probably the best server that we ve ever had. She was incredibly polite, and knowledgeable of the area (we were visiting). The food was cooked exactly as we had requested and it was tremendous. Easily the best steak that I ve had at a restaurant. This was a 5 star dining experience we ll 100% be back, we can t wait honestly it s all we ve been talking about. Thanks for the great experience.

Absolutely DISGUSTING! I hope management takes time to check the cameras to see the BLATANT ignorance. No one acknowledged me and I was SITTING AT THE BAR! 2 servers directly behind me n 2 servers in the bar back one server makes direct eye contact more than once with me and still goes to speak to what it seems like a regular at the bar. I just got off work looking for a quick dine for one and I was very disappointed in the service and customer care. Do not recommend this Keg AT ALL.

We went for my birthday last night, party of 8 and everyone said their food sucked. My burger was so greasy I couldn t even hold it. Horrible food, horrible service. Never going back.

Had the lobster bisque 2 days ago, and I still feel sick. Think I got food poising Was cold and disgusting Our waitress wasnt in the mood to be at work. barely paid any attention to us, and the ambient was loud and rowdy. Compared to other locations we went to, this one was a 0 All other people in our group complained about the food as well. Greasy no taste cold, and steaks not cooked as requested. Loveeeee their Creme Brulee, but at this location, it was disgusting. Waste of almost $180.00 for 2 people Never again.

Last night we had a wonderful experience there. We think The Keg is the most perfect place to enjoy delicious food everytime we come. My friend and I want to thank our server Ella for her impeccable work and thoughtful attention, she is amazing! We hope to see her there eventime we come. We also noticed that the other servers around were very attentive to their customers whenever they needed a help. I highly recommend this place. Its perfect for private meetings, client appreciation dinners, friends gathering and parties. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary desert which was absolutely amazing! Dietary restrictions: We noticed that various gluten free meals are available on the menu. Parking: Try their creme brulee!

The bar tender was new and unable to mix any drink, the waiter was new as well and we waited 30 mins for our food. They kept apologizing, and the manager kept saying sorry, but no solution was given. My friend and I wanted to simply leave the restaurant when we realized what was happening. We will never be going back. Horrific experience

Took my wife and son for her birthday this week, both ordered prime rib while my son had a baseball steak. The prime rib was not even warm to the touch only the potatoes were warm. Was embarrassed and reluctant to send back because didn t want to ruin the night later that evening my wife also admitted her meal was no where near warm and her prime rib was rubbery. Having spent approx 250 dollars I have to say it was truly disappointing.

We met friends for dinner. One friend had many food allergies and our server Josie went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met. Josie was warm and friendly, she took the time to listen to us and shared our joy! The steaks were delicious, cooked just as we wanted. We took our desserts to go, crème caramel was delicious too and enough for two people to share. Dietary restrictions: My friend got gluten free, egg and dairy free items from the menu. They asked for steamed veggies instead of grilled and the cooks were able to comply with my friend s needs.

We ate there on the patio September 4th after picking up relatives from England at Pearson. We all raved about the quality, my prime rib done medium Chicago was the best meat I have ever tasted, right to the very last morsel. Kudos to the chef.

We were staying near the airport and wanted something different from hotel food. The restaurant was easy to get to with plenty of parking. They sat us right away and explained the menu. The steaks were delicious and our server was friendly and efficient.

My wife enjoyed her fillet steak meal. The meat in my Prime Rib was dissapointingly tough. I couldnt eat it as much as I tried to. The waitress took it off the bill. We really enjoyed the wedge salads and the vegetable accompiments.The place has always been noisy.

I love the Keg, but was frustrated trying to place an online order. It was showing going through after payment, then not. I called and they told me to place my order online again as a pick up (they were having issues accepting visa) then, It still wasn t working, and I tried for an hour (that s how bad I wanted my Steak) I kept calling and no answer. Then I finally called again, and spoke with Jose. He was so patient, outgoing, helpful, & helped me order over the phone. He apologized & went on to say that they were having technical issues all day. Once my order was ready and as I was walking in he was calling me to tell me my order was ready. It was right there waiting. As it was busy he still took the time out to speak with me, apologize and make sure everything was in my bag. Jose is an awesome asset to your business. He deserves a raise or bonus that s for sure! Jose is the Goat!

Went an hour before closing during a sports event with my team and the staff were great. We had 6 people in the group and was expecting a slower service due to how late it was but service was perfect and our servers were great! The food came in at perfect times and all of our steaks were cooked the way we wanted.

Natalie crushed our expectations, made us laugh and provided perfect food. This Keg was louder than a pup on Friday night, but she made it work. Great meal, drinks and atmosphere. I took a video to show how loud. UPdated we went back for a nearby dinning place and found Ella to be a fantastic server who understood the assignment and excelled at her job.

Had a wonderful dinner at this Keg location about a week ago. Our server Simii was fantastic. She was attentive, and fun. Would be back again!

Fantastic. Absolutely terrific meal, the staff were on point and the food was beyond exceptional. Very reasonable priced for the service and quality of food received. Also, the staff goes the extra mile when it comes to food allergies. Hats off to this Keg location for being outstanding. Dietary restrictions: They go the extra mile when it comes to ensuring the meal is gluten free if you have Celiac.

It was an absolute experience here as I was dissatisfied with my burger (it was burnt) at first but the ability to quickly change it out and have the server Scottie serve gave a truly great experience, I ll add 2 photos one is before and the after.

Good place, the best I have tried in the airport area. The steak was very good, they made it how I asked for it, the potato was also very good. They also put bread and butter to liven up the wait for the dishes.

When making a reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion, even after we were seated the staff asked if it was a special occasion. Both times we mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary. They didnt even acknowledge it the whole night! What was the point of asking?? Just a complete lack of attention to detail. Very disappointed!!

my server was absolutely great that was the best thing about this location. I goto the keg once or twice a week and this location kept serving me hennessy with fruit Flys in it I returned atleast 4 of them from the hennessy vsop if it wasnt for my server I wouldnt even have paid but I wanted to make sure she wasnt stuck with the costs no manager even came by to apologize UPDATE alex the manger I belive reached out with concerns and was absolutely apologetic and even gave me a gift card towards ny next visit great staff like I said so Ill give it another shot

I went to there for the Bday of my nephew, and was wonderful, we got a good time, the service and the food was good. For sure I will come back there. Food

This Keg location is run down and very tired looking. Even the concrete walkways outside are falling apart and is an accident waiting to happen. Food overall was good, but just did not seem up to KEG standards. I had ribs for a change and they were dry. A guest had the lobster tails and they were good or at least looked good. Our waiter and the support staff were very good.

Best of the chain restaurants. Food is consistent, service is good and prices are fair. This location is open for lunch all year

I had the salmon was great, and my friends said the Steak was fabulous.

Place was lovely, though it was so loud that our server did not hear me when I let them know there was a problem with my meal. So, it was never able to be resolved. There was no way to get their attention on the matter without going full karen, so I just ate the sides and ordered in when I got back to my hotel. Its sad, we were there for a company dinner after being in an all-day meeting. I was looking forward to that duck. It was dry and crunchy. Stick to the regular menu and just avoid the specials.

Good food. Pretty good service. But the clientele is noisy and poorly behaved. We had dinner jammed between a party of screaming kids with their screaming parents, another family with 2 kids who hammered on their plates and glasses with their silverware, and a third party who sat for an hour after they paid the bill having a 5-way screaming conversation into a speakerphone in the middle of their table. Then we got a lecture on how great Donald Trump is from our waitress. A truly horrible experience. Weve been eating her on every trip to Toronto for a decade or more, but never, never again. A horrible experience.

Three of us went out for lunch. We had the prime riv. I had escar go. My girlfriend had shrimp salad and her man friend had a Caesar salad. It was delicious. It was perfect. Would go back anytime

Went here for dinner with some friends who we have not seen in a long time. Unfortunately, service was extremely slow. The waitress did not follow up with us or attend to the table often enough. In addition, requests went ignored or significantly delayed. For example, we wanted to purchase a bottle of wine and didn t get the bottle until our meals were almost halfway done. Why have red wine when your steak is almost eaten, when you could have it a little bit to enjoy it before, during and finish the remainder after? No effort was made to follow up with us on drinks or to ensure there was adequate water for the table. The drinks that were ordered were extremely watered down (margaritas, sangria, etc). Pop was also flat. We had asked for more bread, and never got it, and by the time the waitress remembered, it was already too late. In terms of steak, you would expect a Keg steakhouse to have a fine quality cut. Most of the steaks were poor quality, tough, and not what you would expect when attending the Keg. Atmosphere was overall fine, but I will say that it was a little bit warm at our table and seemed like air conditioning, with today being a very hot day, could ve been much better. Appetizers were fine. We ordered 3 appetizers. One appetizer was requested to be set up to share among four people and it was not. This forced us to have to order a second one in order to save face with our guests. The server represented that it would be fine and split to share, and enough food, but it definitely was not. Misleading. Not a good The Keg compared to many out there. Paid over $400 and not worth it.

I went to The Keg last week with my friend, and I loved the food. However, one thing I noticed, which was a bit unusual, was that our server was extremely loud, which made us a little uncomfortable.

It is always a delight to share dinner with family and friends here.

Vegetarian options werent appealing to me. My familys drinks and meals looked amazing, although someone steak was not cooked to their liking, and I heard a similar thing happened to our neighbouring booth but they actually sent their steak back to be re-cooked so over or under cooking steak seems to be an issue here. Food is nice nonetheless, and the atmosphere is great but a bit loud. Waiters are absolutely lovely. Really nice people who work hard to get things done how you want them to be done. Overall a great place to eat.

I sat down and ordered a salad which was fine. I looked to my left on the bench seat and saw a huge cockroach crawling towards me. I immediately got up and told the I assume manager who asked i wanted to sit somewhere else .. umm no !! I could not get the thought of the cockroach out of my head. Very upsetting considering we were there for a birthday celebration !

Had a brilliant time eating out with old friends the other evening. The staff were very friendly (our server going the extra mile to switch out a seat for a more comfortable one for one of our group). Food and wine were fantastic. Hugely recommended.

What an amazing experience came to celebrate my sons Graduation from High-school, the food always yummy but extra big shout out to Erwin who put the cherry on the top our server/waiter such a caring, kind, detailed oriented good attitude kinda guy. Keep being you Erwin and many blessings.

A steakhouse that can bring out a black and blue NY strip without batting an eye is pretty special. A lot of places wont even do it. Blue rare is hard to do consistently, and places will have a policy against internal temps that low. The real reason: they cant. To do it properly, you HAVE to bring the cut up to temp. Otherwise youll get the blue part of black and blue, and the steak will come out cold and tough. But bringing your steaks up to temp is a logistical nightmare and has overhead costs, so a lot of places dont bother. Its also a contaminant risk - management wont let their chefs cook blue rare if there is a part of the procurement process where theres a chance the cut wasnt handled or stored properly, starting at the source. It also shows that the waitstaff and the kitchen have been working together long enough to build trust. They know what it is, know the kitchen can handle it, and I dont have to worry about it. If I have to explain what it is, there isnt any point asking for it. Finally, even rare steaks can do a lot to mask lazy cut choice. Blue rare needs a cut that is already tender, but not well marbled since it wont render. If you use shortloin (the typical NY strip cut) itll come out tough. The chef needs to know that, and switch to something like a top sirloin center cut or tenderloin. With that out of the way, my review: The black and blue peppercorn new york strip I had at The Keg this evening is in the top three restaurant steaks that Ive ever had. It reminded me of carpaccio - that same melt in your mouth tenderness but with peppercorn steak familiarity. Im curious what theyre doing with the peppercorns, I couldnt figure it out. Delicious, though. I would have liked a better crust but I dont know any indoor restaurants that allow a searzall (cooking flamethrower) in the kitchen.

Great Food, Great service. Baked shrimp is phenomenal! I recommend the Prime Rib, twice baked potato and add the crab cluster ($20 extra) to the dish. (Crab is limited to Summer promo only Billy Minor pie was really good as well and they usually comp it if its a Birthday or Anniversary ! Two thumps up on service!

Went for dinner recently and ordered the blackened chicken. This was a slice of chicken breast, which was over cooked and dry, understandably because chicken breast is harder to cook at high temperature (Required for blackening) and worse if its not a whole breast (which would be thicker than sliced). The flavor was also lacking. The wait staff and overall service was excellent.

The blackened chicken is truly amazing here and we had an incredible waiter, Jojo. Shout out to her for making the celebration of my sister s birthday a truly amazing experience. Will always love The Keg! 10/10 recommend. LCBO strike interrupted us having drinks with alcohol but we didn t mind, the mocktails were still great!

First and last visit to the Keg on Dixon road. To be honest..for many years my family and I have attended the Leslie st Keg..and now my parents are gone my Bestie and I go to The best Keg Leslie St, in North York. Last evening May 23, 2024, my friend took me on a belated birthday...First the seat where they wanted to put us I objected and asked for a booth for the 3 of us. After a few minutes the hostess returned and Sat is in a booth. A few minutes later Cindy our server arrived gave us meal suggestions and showed us specials..We ordered drinks and not too longer food. My 2 friends took some time to decide...I ordered what I always get The only Sirloin with a bone , topped with Sirloin Oscar..with only vegetables and the steak well done but not DRY!! Cindy suggested medium well... The edges were okay but by the time I got into the middle it was BRIGHT PINK..the steak itself has no flavor...At Leslie I just eat no salt or pepper added or ajus needed.This one.last night added salt pepper tried ajus still no taste...As a result of this medium well, I could not sleep the food in my stomach now today all day a Belly Ache and visiting the washroom alot. I have not tell.my friends yet..They enjoyed the Salmon..I dont like Salmon...So at the end of the day a Very Disappointed Experience at The Keg Dixon..I my next time we doing Steaks. I ordered a steak and the waitress (Bianca) didnt even bother to bring a steak knife. She also didnt come around to check on water or anything else afterwards and many tables were empty.

Friendly staff, patient even though we stayed and talked. Very tasty food, but watch out for the horseradish, it bites!

My girlfriend and I decided on going to The Keg for our final dinner in the Toronto area before we head home from vacation. We went in around 8pm. The food was great! The vegetables couldve been seasoned a little more, but thats a personal preference. The staff were very accommodating of my girlfriends soy allergy, which was cool. And, the ladies behind the bar absolutely killed it!

I really love their steak, and the services are extraordinary.

Havent had a bad experience at this location. I am assuming they get a lot of the out of town crowd that are staying at nearby hotels, so its a good mix of people. Staff is great and the peppercorn New York strip is my go to cut. Parking is usually rammed in the evening but if you wait a couple minutes youll see a satisfied customer walking to their car ready to leave and stuffed full of great food.

The Keg always has a high standard for food and I enjoy coming here. Meat was cooked perfectly, everything was fresh, and I felt full leaving the restaurant! The sliders had some disgusting horseradish in them that completely ruined it but I should have asked it without. The menu could be more clear of whats inside some of their items. Also, the wrapped shrimp was good, but wish there was more with that order. Bread is 10/10 as always. And the waitress was nice to give free cake as part of the dinners celebration! Their cake is very very delicious

It was an overall good experience, with the excellent service as the Keg is known for - experienced, friendly and very professional. 4 stars as its one of the older Kegs and feels very dated relative to the new one at Sherway, and the washrooms felt old. But still had the overall vibe on a keg with nice lighting and cozy rooms. It was very busy with a diverse crowd which created a nice atmosphere as well.
