Good food and atmosphere, price is okay. Hot Hamburger DOES NOT come with Fries anymore apparently. Disappointing… decent spot if you don’t want to cook at home.
Came here for brunch over the weekend for my first time! Didn’t know the place existed until yesterday but glad I know now! Cute and cozy place with big portions at fair prices. I want to check out their paint night soon!
It used to be our go to spot for a long time. But food quality went down significantly especially in last 6 month. Food is old, greasy and constantly burned to the charcoal color. Their burgers used to be absolutely delicious, now they are tasteless and once again burned. Chicken parm is literally black and inedible. They need a new chef in the kitchen and overall better quality of produce.

I love how this place is so cute with the Decor! The service is great too. I just think the timings of the restaurant is off. They open at 10 for breakfast is odd. Also their French toast is tasteless. It wasn’t sweet like it should be and nor was it cooked well. Although the coffee was good they don’t have any non dairy milk.
The service here was wonderful, and the staff are very kind. However, I was not a fan of the food that I had had, and neither was my friend.
This place it’s pretty hidden but the food is really good. I would recommend Update I went again and the food was not that great :/
Honest good place with good fresh food, kind staff and cheap beer. Been many times after “Harry’s” left and honestly I prefer it this way. Came tonight again and all the food was excellent diner food. Great chicken parm - very crisp, nicely done tender steak my 4 year old loved and my french Canadian wife loves the hot hamburger, we should come here more!

Wasnt 1st on Uber boys bicycle list. Wings still delivered warm and juicy and finally not in styrofoam. Missing out if you havent been. No tofu or tide pods on menu. Food : 5/5 |

Good little spot. I didnt realize this location is where Harrys Charbroiled joint used to be... if it were me, I would advertise this to my advantage since HC had such a great rep. The somewhat smashed veggie burger w/cheese was pretty delicious... the fries were also good for frozen ....the frozen fries is the only reason why Im giving 4 stars for Food bc I feel the extra work for fresh potatoes makes all the difference. I got takeaway yet the atmosphere was pleasant and ego-free. The cost was descent considering it cost the same as fast food but better value. Ill definitly be back!

Parking: Driving around looking for somewhere to stop. Honestly, had we not googled diners we wouldnt have found this little gem. Great atmosphere, great service, great food, great prices. Not to busy, and they have parking!!! Food

While visiting my family in Parkdale we decided to order food in and check out your restaurant. Wow!! Still piping hot when delivered, Good portions. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich with a small salad. Huge! I couldnt eat it all so i finished it next day for lunch. My son and wife had the club. It was made with real chicken. They shared a poutine. To add to our feast we had milkshakes. We will definitely be ordering from or visiting your place again.

I cant believe Ive waited this long to try this place. I went in for a classic burger and fries for one of their deals and it was amazing. Ill definitely be going back.

Its pretty good but they serve fried chicken, hamburgers or hotdogs for their specials so much. It seems like that is all they offer now for specials.

Originally known as Harrys, The Originals Dining Lounge is a diner/bar for the locals of Parkdale. The place is accessible, friendly and unpretentious. I had a home burger with cheese and onion rings last time and it was excellent. Domestic beers are dirt cheap.

Overpriced burger that is nothing close to what it used to be. Very disappointed. Burger came with no ketchup or mustard, and was a cheap, from frozen patty. Milkshakes had no flavour, not worth the 5$. Add on fries for 3$...just not worth it at all

Congrats, Penny & co for re-opening this classic burger spot! Its back and its just as great as it was before the change of ownership. Classic banquet burgers, fries and the best gravy in Parkdale!

Our server Penny was super attentive and friendly. Their menu offers a variety options and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend The Originals to anyone, its a great atmosphere for all!
Stopped in for a quick beer and ended up staying for a beer and chatting with regulars & staff. Charming place. Glad they cleaned the place up & dropped the prices since Harrys. (Mind you, I LOVED Harrys...) 12/10 recommend making the visit - even if youre not from Parkdale.

This is exactly the type of establishment the community must support. Great staff with terrific food for an even better price. The roast beef dip was to die for with quality ingredients end to end. I will be definitely be back, I highly recommend checking it out, a hidden gem you must try
Atmosphere was the same as old with original booths loved that. Ordered few things and although the burger wasnt great and thats what i remembered most, but our other dish was delicious. The staff was great! Would definitely try again!

Each time I come here I m always greeted with such a warm welcome by the staff. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Can t wait for restrictions to be lifted so we can enjoy our meals under the twinkling lights once again.
The burgers are simple and tasty, just how I like and also affordable! Fries portions are always very generous. The location is great for anyone around Jameson avenue. Customer service is always friendly, they take cash and its very easy to order pick up through the phone.

Cozy atmosphere with old fashioned booths and nice wooden interior and classic signs. Really impressed with the low prices and great customer service. It was a packed house when we were there and our order was accidentally missed by the cook and took much longer than expected. The server took 50% off our whole bill, which was more generous than needed for the small inconvenience. Breakfast was simple and delicious (fluffy scrambled eggs and tasty sausage with rye toast), and the sandwiches at other tables looked great. Will definitely be back to try the hot sandwiches!

For patrons searching for that legendary Harrys burger beware, you will not find it here. Though theyve managed to keep the vibe of the older place mostly intact (though the laugh/love planks are pretty awful), the burgers just arent that great. The food and drinks are extremely cheap though so Id recommend this place for a night out for or after drinking but not for a good meal.
