The Broadview Hotel, 106 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON M4M 2G1, Canada
One of the most stunning views of the Toronto skyline and the Don River. A 360° glass facade, pyramidal skylight, and expansive rooftop terrace make this an unforgettable location for drinks and shareable bites with friends or when celebrating an event. Located on the 7th floor of The Broadview Hotel, The Rooftop complements the boutique ambiance of the restored building and has been nominated one of the best rooftop bars in the city and the #1 hotel rooftop bar in Toronto.
The Rooftop at the Broadview hotel is a must go! The food, the drinks are top notch! Service is excellent! The bartender Alex is a craftsman bartender making top notch libations off menu customization and a true gentleman! Make sure to visit this boutique hotel and rooftop restaurant! You will enjoy everything about it! Avin is great! Just come here!
Service was excellent but the food was mediocre. A few friends and I came here for a girls night and got some great drinks, however the food was just mediocre. We were surprised by the quality compared to the pricing. While we don't mind spending the money and were looking forward to the experience after seeing the reviews, however, at these prices, we do expect the food offered to align with the prices as well. We ordered the charcouterie board which had the smallest amount of cheese I've ever seen on a board. The pairing of the cheeses and meats offered (which were very cheap quality meats) really did not require the volume of pickled veggies on the board. The onion jam was fantastic, but the crackers were quite frankly stale and soft. We also ordered the buratta which was mediocre at best, and the calamari was tasty but slightly undercooked. It was evident the oil used was not as hot as it should have been making for a much greasier and oil absorbed dish than required. My girlfriends and I did not order dinner and paid ~$52 pp (with one drink each and 3 apps shared amongst 4 people). Not the greatest dining experience for how much we paid.
The service was great, and the staff were very attentive! The cocktails were good, and some had unique flavors, which was a nice touch. However, most of them contained egg whites, which might not be for everyone. The food was okay, but nothing particularly stood out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would consider coming back for the drinks!
Nice evening on the rooftop for a late dinner, the Broadview’s rooftop terrace and restaurant provided a nice refuge after a long drive to Toronto. The highlight was the service we got from the waiter. None of the wines we tasted were good (and we are not that difficult to please). He went over and above after we described what we liked and boom, got us exactly the wine we were looking for. Bravo for the effort. On with the food: skewers (see picture) were OK, a little hard to chew, sauce was good. The flatbread was better, tasty, good portion for the price, well dressed. However the standout here was the artichoke salad that combined radicchio, olives, salad was crunchy, tasted perfect for a warm summer night. The weak area is the decor and atmosphere which seemed to have evaded the designers of the hotel. Cold & impersonal at best, it just does not have any personality. I guess they were tired by the time they got to the rooftop compared to the hotel lobby. Overall, pretty good, hefty prices as expected, but service made the value somewhat palatable. Not a destination but good if you are a guest at the hotel. P.S.: if this review was helpful to you, please leave a quick 👍, thank you 🙏 😀
Nice casual little place with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. This is a rooftop patio on the 7th floor at the Broadview hotel. Perfect for a warm summer day. The menu doesn't have lots of options but it's tasty and the view you get from one side is beautiful, not the best in the city, but still very lovely.
Very casual rooftop bar with small choice of bar food. Because of the flood the main area was closed so i cannot rate the view. cocktail’s were ok, a bit watery as for me prices around 20CAD. Var type small finger foods only, so if you are hungry please eat somewhere and then come. We nearly ordered the whole menu. My favorite was truffle fries the rest was average. So for a casual visit it’s ok but nothing spectacular.
I loved this place!!!! The atmosphere is incredible, and the service was amazing. They served some finger food, and it was tasty, but it could be less spicy. Everything was well plated and delicious but a bit hot, not too much, but if you can not hold spicy, it is better to check first. The cocktails are so presentable and well mixed. In addition to these qualities, the view and the light. OMG, so beautiful.
This place has one of the best views from a rooftop. A corner sofa table would be the ideal choice. The food menu is limited and is definitely a drawback. Cocktails are pretty decent. Nevertheless, you'll have a great time if accompanied by the right person. They do have a great service. On our way out, we realised the indoor seating is also a good option.
We had an amazing experience at The Rooftop! The ambiance was unmatched, with breathtaking views and a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our server, Avin, truly elevated our evening. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Avin s warm and professional demeanor made us feel so welcome and taken care of throughout the night. We highly recommend The Rooftop for a memorable dining experience and will definitely be back soon. Thank you to Avin and the entire team for such an incredible evening!
had an excellent dining experience thanks to our server, Avin. From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The service was prompt but not rushed, and they checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. It s rare to find someone who balances friendliness with professionalism so well. I highly recommend asking for Avin next time youre here!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Rooftop it was an experience like no other. The setting was absolutely stunning, with panoramic views that provided a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Watching the sunset from the rooftop was magical and set the perfect tone for the night. The food was exceptional, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, everything was prepared to perfection. The drinks were equally impressive, offering a well-curated selection of cocktails, wines, and mocktails. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless. It s the perfect spot for a special occasion or a memorable night out. Highly recommended!
Make a reservation Came just for drinks. Bartenders are awesome. Picture perfect drinks. Fun vibe , loud but good music.. we liked it, but maybe not for everyone. Food
Food was great and pretty nice view, especially at night.
Great spot with a very nice view. The food could be better though.
Nice Ambience
Amazing view!! Grab drinks and snacks!!
what a wonderful spot! We had the Tower toom for a small private event. It was lovely, the servers were excellent and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!
I am very thankful and grateful for what I get I dont have words
The food was delicious and the view was amazing
We had an AMAZING experience! The service was incredible and the food matched!!
Had the pleasure of going to the rooftop last night and met the exec Chef Artem Shcherbina to personally chat and extend my compliments on the menu. Excited to see the seasonal changes he has planned. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a beautiful spot to have a drink.
Great views, great food and drinks
Very nice rooftop and fantastic view
A fun night for sure. Great atmosphere with heat patio and skyline views of Toronto. Also indoor seating. Service started strong but faded as the night progressed. On balance recommended. Reservations recommended.
The service is very slow the food is average Taste is also lacking You can get a lot of better options in toronto
I made a reservation two weeks in advance for a party of eight to celebrate my 40th birthday at the Broadview Hotel rooftop. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I m not sure if there s been a management change, but the service has drastically declined. From the moment we arrived, the host was unwelcoming. I requested seating on the rooftop patio, only to be told that it was on a first-come, first-served basis and that we d have to sit inside. This was confusing, as I saw several tables available on the patio. When I questioned the hostess about this, I was told the patio was reserved for parties of two. However, I noticed several larger groups seated outside. It felt like we were being misled. After some persistence, they reluctantly agreed to seat us on the patio. I shared my concerns with the manager, Michael, but his response was dismissive. While he apologized, it was clear he didn t take the situation seriously. I explained that as the manager, he should ensure his staff provides accurate information and treats customers with respect. Unfortunately, he didn t seem to care. The rooftop atmosphere, which I used to enjoy, has changed. The servers appeared to be very young, and lacked the experience to handle guests properly. Their attitude was indifferent, and they were far from friendly or accommodating. The overall service was poor, and it was evident that the staff didn t care about making our evening special. At the end of the night, I expressed to Michael how awful the experience had been. He didn t offer any explanation, further apology, or even a semblance of concern. He just stared at me without saying a word. I ve always enjoyed the Broadview Hotel in the past, but this experience was truly upsetting. The poor management and lack of professionalism among the staff were unacceptable. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make necessary changes.
cozy atmosphere, great food and friendly service!
Good selection of tapas, great view of the city and solid cocktails. They need some more desserts on the menu. Food
I used to love this place - their old menu was pretty fantastic. But now, their new menu is..not. Chicken tenders are 75% batter, skewers are super bland, fries are underdone and overall just not a good experience. They also seem to have a new vibe with a DJ thats totally ruined how great this place used to be.
It was an amazing experience! Love the atmosphere, food and cocktails! Definitely will visit again.
Food comes cold every time. It was my last time there!
Location with covered rooftop terrace with distant views of the CN Tower and surrounding buildings. If you go there, its to snack and drink a cocktail (on average 20 dollars per cocktail). If the rooftop is full, the noise of conversations can quickly become annoying. The servers are friendly. The toilets are worth a look with a Moulin Rouge type decor. A rather popular place currently among locals given the crowds. Reserve your table online in advance.
I was very excited to come here, but there was a hair in my food. I left because I was disgusted. Food
One of the best cocktail bars in Toronto. Extremely well thought out cocktails. With great service. The food is on point the Scallops ceviche is a must try. Food
Nice place. Food was okay but for prices should have been better. Had the olives, couple of mid specialty cocktails, and the fries.
A very nice place for a group hangout. It is more of a social bar rather than a restaurant so don t plan a big dinner here. Lots of cute cocktails to try. Menu only has shareables and desserts but tbf the portions are worth the price. It also gets very loud so js keep that in mind :) i definitely recommend for a night out in Toronto! Vegetarian options: Many vegan and gluten free options. Keep in mind food menu is rather small Parking: My company and I didn t bring a car here but I image it would have been rather difficult to find unpaid or paid parking in this area. Take an Uber!
Friendly, knowledgeable & attentive staff. Great Toronto skyline view from the 3 sided glassed walls. Small, great quality shareable menu bites. Food : 5/5
They had a cool DJ, the views were awesome and everything tasted great. A bit slow on the drinks but it wasnt annoying.
I live in Toronto and we had family visiting from out of country and thought the Rooftop would be a nice evening out for our party of 6. I wish we would have went elsewhere. All we had were drinks and they were extremely overpriced. We may have been able to get over that but our service was terrible/non existent. Had to waive down 3 different servers for the couple hours we were there and at one point I had to go to bar and get my own beer. Honestly the nicest thing about this place was the view. That being said we couldve just went to our condo rooftop patio and had a much nicer time. I will never go back to this place again!
Loved everything about this place! Delicious cocktails and food, friendly and fast service, and beautiful views of the city. Really appreciated the inventive and mouthwatering vegan options (the Brussels sprouts!!!) 10/10 would go again! Dietary restrictions: They had some really good vegan options.
New review from yesterday - They have changed their menu and upgraded their food since the last time I was there. I really enjoyed everything except for the shrimp tacos which were bland and the chicken in the chicken bao were dry and over fried. Old review from 2 years ago- The view and the vibe was amazing however their food was atrocious. We ordered several dishes and every single one of them was horrible. They really need to revamp their menu/food
DO NOT COME HERE !!Waste money and time We booked our table on line through OpenTable We booked high top seating but They did not give us the seats we booked .At that time it s not busy .There s another seating by the window but she did not lead us to there and I need to talk to them for that It took about 30 mins to take our order .Lots of staff nothing to do but no one comes or ask Do not fool by their food and view pictures .it is not accurate I looked at other food picture why we only got four shrimps.Mushrooms only four ,chicken strips six really skinny ones leaven skinner than your fingers ! Really I hope I should take pictures for this small potion of food .This is a Ripped Off place and you can see better view from other place with good quantity and quality food and better customer service This place will lose their business soon eventually The staff are not attentive .not caring ,not helpful Do not wasting your money here No one deserves ignoring and this is how I feel We almost walk out the door after waiting too long because no one wanted to serve us But We took a Uber there so we do not just want to leave It s ridiculous and this is a restaurant with four stars review.Unbelievable!!! Most of staffs are busy chatting and not really care about customer services I hope their management should look into that and aware why the business not good anymore People talk and they write reviews too Now I know why people write bad review about this place and they were totally right !!! Even The staff are not busy They still ignore you Worst food and customer service ever!!!!!
Great vibes, awesome food/snacks and drinks. Service staff were friendly and great but probably could use more staff for faster service.
The location is amazing, gorgeous views. Food is OK and so is the service. However giving it an automatic two stars because it starts the recommended tip at 20% and goes as high as 25%. What on earth? That s insane tipflation and no one should tolerate it.
Went for a friends birthday - the place has a nice vibe. Quick tip - Check the menu prior.
Changed menu, removed a lot of food options, waitress had an attitude
An enjoyable experience, the food was delicious, great views and friendly staff.
Beautiful scenery! Recently dined in at this location. The view of the city from the rooftop was beautiful. However their menu was very different. Most of the dishes were finger foods. Their cocktails were great. We stayed for a few drinks and appetizers. Left right after to get dinner at another restaurant.
Disappointing choice for an anniversary celebration. We had a reservation 2+ weeks in advance for a weeknight and had requested a city view. Upon arrival, we were told they only had patio high top tables available and we were seated in a narrow back alley with an obstructed view of downtown. It looked like part of the patio was closed off which is a shame as the closed part had a better view. We asked for a new table inside and were again given a high top off to the side with an obstructed view. The layout here is just not ideal for great views as only a few tables have a good view of the city and they have more of a couch like setup. Other tables overlook a parking lot or a road. Reservations don t seem to mean much as they don t guarantee you a decent seat, even with the fact that I called in ahead of time to confirm, and they said the fact that I had a reservation meant I was good to go for a nice seat. They also seem reluctant to seat you at new tables if your party does not match the number of seats available. Not sure why considering the tables are just left empty. Food was just okay, not great value and there are far better options in the GTA. Dining service was fine. Other noteworthy things: menu was limited and not exciting. I heard it was changed recently, so make sure you check the new one before visiting. There is no music at all so all you hear is chatter from all of the other conversations. Not having any music made it feel like I was dining in a food court. Won t be back.
The new menu that they introduced is horrible. The chicken tenders were flavorless and had no meat on them. The skewers were also flavorless. Also, the service was just rude. When we complained, they said, Since both dishes are half eaten, we can only refund one. Dude, everyone in my party tried a piece to make sure it we all agreed it was bad. Not my problem that four bites = half eaten. As a long-time resident of the neighborhood and frequent patron, I wont be back.
Party of 9, wonderful location, atmosphere, service. Drinks were great, food was good enough. Mostly shareable plates (flatbreads kebabs,...etc.) good for groups. Recommend for large groups, drinks, dates...etc.
Great view of the city but the service and food is always lacking.
There was a roach on our table today
My friend and I actually got food poisoning. We believe its from the chicken baos we ate. The rest of our group didnt get sick (they also didnt eat the baos) Service was really slow and hard to flag down servers. The music was too loud in general. Overall I can only recommend coming for drinks and the view. I cannot recommend any of the food we ate because we got sick. Theres only shareable food as well. Its not a restaurant.
I love the Broadview hotel, but my latest visit on June 1st was disappointing. The music over the speakers was so loud I was barely able to hear the people at my table speaking. Was a very disappointing experience.
Our experience as a group for a birthday was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We were not informed that a $480 group charge was necessary to be spent, and there was no transparency with this requirement either. The menu was very small and only included shareables and desserts for expensive prices for what it was.
Spicy! Everything I ate was spicy and hot and probably a touch salty. The food was good. We ordered the fries, sourdough bulgolgi (also comes with fries), chicken wings, and shrimp tacos (2). Everything was spicy, chicken wings were slightly too salty (maybe ok for others), fries were lightly spicy. Didnt notice the spice until a few fries in. Very nice view of Toronto and rooftop area. There is a centre area where can see the sky. All sides are windows. Nice place for a quick snack or meal.
It was a lovely evening, everything was perfect from the food, to the service, the atmosphere and the views. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious veg options on the snack menu.
Great menu selection. The gin + tonic was excellent and amazing dessert. The views were stunning and the interior design was cool and relaxing
Food and Ambience is so good
Beautiful rooftop view, good service and tasty cocktails. It s really good for groups as they have [only] sharable items. Food is a little basic/ overpriced, but a nice place overall. Lots of vegetarian options.
Service could be improved. Waitresses were chatting in the corner and didnt come by to ask if what we wanted to order until we flagged them down. Then we were rushed out for being there for an hour.
It is a great idea but seems to be getting tired. Closed early at 11 pm. It is supposed to be a bar. Felt rushed
the food is great the service isnt bad the atmosphere I didnt like it
Way too noisy and loud. Couldnt even hear myself thinking! Its a great social spot but not to carry out long conversations
Why is the place almost never open?? One of the best patios and views in the city but it s never open. Beautiful Sunday afternoon? Closed Why?
Beautiful atmosphere
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious foods and drinks.
Atmosphere is one of the best. Unbearable view before any other high rise around happens. Not recommend the poke bowl.
Beautiful must visit place had a great experience the open rooftop
We ordered the Korean Spiced Fries ($12.00), Cauliflower ($14.00), Nashville Hot Chicken Bao ($6.00 each), and the 8oz Grilled Flatiron lettuce wraps ($26.00). The food was pretty good but definitely not worth the price although you do get a fair amount of the shareables. Theres just a lot more places out there where you can get more of the same food and its better tasting. The bao was okay but $6.00 for one is a little pricey as there are other locations where you can get three for about $9. We also ordered the Mo-Ai punch which was pretty good but for one its $21.00... that said we didnt order a lot more cocktails after that. However, just for the view alone, it was worth it! Its a nice spot to take in the sunset with the Toronto skyline. Its a must-go place at least once. We had to make reservations as they are fairly busy. Within our reservation we requested a table that had a good view and they accommodated us! The customer service was really good too and they were all extremely friendly. Overall, if youre in Toronto you need to check out The Rooftop at least once. For more reviews check out @_date.nights on Instagram!
Wasn t worth it. I asked to reserve a patio spot they told me it was first come first serve so when we got there and the patio was empty I asked to go on the patio and they said it was full with reservations the drinks were mediocre for how expensive they were and the food was small and not that tasty. Server dropped off the food and then wasn t seen again, he only came by to give us the bill and the hostess was kind of rude to us as well. Not worth it. Two stars because it is a cool location.
I was there for a late afternoon bite with my nieces. It was our Holliday Season Outing 2023. The food was well presented and very tasty. The service was very fast, including our drink orders and food. The menu was all shared appetizer kinds of plates. We were very happy to have chosen the rooftop at The Broadview. Thanks to the staff on the ground and on the roof. Great job.
Excellent drinks in a great atmosphere. Ive enjoyed several meals at this restaurant, including lunch and dinner. The drinks are tasty and generous - for example, a classic Caesar. Indoors, the room is spacious and comfortable, with generous light through the glass ceiling during the day. Outdoors (during the warmer seasons), the patio offers good views around the neighborhood. The food is fun and sometimes heavily seasoned. Service is excellent and friendly, even when the restaurant is crowded. Recommended for a fun evening out.
Our group of 6 only liked the atmosphere and their cocktails. The food and rhetoric service was terrible.
Nice intimate space and a great view!
Excellent food, beautiful restaurant and good service. The drink menu seems overpriced in my opinion, as well as some of the food items. We were a little disappointed to see how small the menu was. But Im still giving 5 stars as we had a good experience.
I came here for the first time on Monday and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We got a seat right by the window and the views are amazing. Our server was nice and kept checking on us. I got a cocktail that I didnt end up liking so I got another drink and the cocktail was left off the bill although I didnt ask. Will definitely come again.
You pay for the view but what a view
Enjoyed the atmosphere! Food, drinks and service were very good!
Pros: -server was attentive and friendly. -appetizers (crispy prawns / sweet potato fries) were cooked well -The pork carnitas tacos for $30 came with 4 tortillas so somewhat more value than the fish tacos. Cons: -Price. Even post covid, I know/understand everything went up but you can do so much better for the price. -$16 for 2 pieces of fish Tacos is just not worth it. -yellowfin tuna poke is so bad. The cuts were super thick and its not really a poke. Also not seasoned overall, it was just very bad, after 5 different people trying it and had the same verdict -The crispy tofu tonkatsu is NOT crispy at all. Imagine a soggy fish, there was nothing good to say about it -The view isnt really that good maybe at night. But during the day, you see mostly a bunch of trees on the long side and some skylines on the shorter side
Very popular and busy after 4pm. We sat indoor as it was little cold on the patio yesterday but still the view looking out of the window is enjoyable. Good place hanging with friends.
Bad service, waited for 20 minutes for a table, Servers with attitude, table was sticky and really expensive. Left the scene before ordering
Phenomenal space and place. Food quality was outstanding for the price. A1.
Very upscale place, quick and friendly service, amazing views of the city.
The views are stunning and we enjoyed watching some early fireworks quite a bit. The decor is swanky and quite modern. We were disappointed in the service. Although it was pleasant enough, it was slow. 12 of us were celebrating my 40th birthday and we re annoyed the would not allow us to reserve outside and really stuck to their first come, first serve policy. My experience has always been that establishments make some effort for patrons celebrating their birthday, which the rooftop did not. Boo Their drinks were decent if you ordered off their cocktail menu, anything else was very very basic. My mother asked for an extra dirty martini with extra olives..but instead received the most basic martini ever. Some of the food was okay, some was not so okay. The edamame was decent and probably my favourite. Their crinkle fries were an enormous portion and decent. The ch Ike s wings were well cooked, but lacked real flavour. My husband felt the bao bun was gross. My friends REALLY enjoyed their poke tacos. Overall, it s worth going here for the views, but keep expectations regarding service and food low.
As other reviews mentioned, this place is not nice for your birthday or any occasion events. 1. Please noted that I booked an ouside table before 5 days It means I really wanted to celebrate and enjoy it. Its ridiculous when they asked you with reservation if you have special day, and then nothing happen. 2. The view. Im truly to say people come to your place for a view and they will pay for what they receive. However, if you know the windy, the bad weather or any reason which cannot arrange and serve outside. How did you open for reservation online? And why didnt send any message regarding that? 3. You were arranged the table inside and I wish to have photo outside, then you agreed with that. Ok but I ordered 2 cocktails over $40 and I served it by myself though it had sun later outside??? And the foods, was it nice decoration for birthday and quality of black on fried sweet potato, also limited for food choice. Could you please tell us that we spend time to your hotel, to your bar for what? We could go to other nice place with the best service and suitable price in downtown right? Note: the view is not fabulous as their picture, especially check the sunny or cloudy before going there.
Great rooftop bar with fantastic views despite rampant construction nearby. Definitely more of a tapas bar vibe than a fully-featured restaurant, and the menu reflects this. The tower can be rented out privately if you are looking for a great intimate event space. Especially nice to sit on the outside patio during warm weather!
The place was amazing but what adds to it is the customer service. Huge shout-out to the manager ( Forgetting his name) Neat guy with gelled up hairs. He was amazingly hospitable.
The vibe is great obviously as it s a rooftop. Servers were nice and professional! Food portions are comparably small, and everything was very very hot and spicy, they should mention it on the menu or servers should mention it.
Made a reso a couple days in advance and specifically requested for a patio table with nice view. Didn t happen, ended up sitting at the bar. No point in making a reso. Slow and inattentive service. No staff ever checked up on us to see how we were doing, water glasses were never refilled and empty for more than 45 minutes. Multiple staff passed by but never cared, maybe because they were wearing sunglasses and it s too dark for them to see inside..?? Idk.. will not be returning.
Excellent views but below average bites & cocktails.
Great drinks, snacks, and views My partner and I showed up on a busy Saturday night with no reservation and the staff kindly cleared out a spot for us. Trendy place yet still casual. Kudos on great alcohol-free cocktails!
Beautiful Toronto rooftop with great view to the city. Limited food options but very rich cocktails menu.
Great service, great food. A little noisy for my liking. But a nice lively atmosphere
Food is just ok, not great options for brunch. The view is nice tough. I prefer this place for dinner rather than lunch or brunch
Very sweet and friendly service, food is fine, view and atmosphere is fantastic Check the dining room on the roof top patio, for wedding and group dinners Food
The view is beautiful. The menu was lacking, I get it not really serving much food, but cucumber with dressing was a whole appetizer option. The server came once to take our order, and some others did everything else. She did not look our way again, not even anytime she came out to take someone elses order. Both times our drinks ran dry, and I finally just got up and asked to pay the bill at the bar.
We sat in the atrium, not the terrace, but still a great atmosphere and view. The sharing plates were amazing! The service was premium.
A really awesome experience at this rooftop bar on Saturday evening. The drinks were superb (vodka martini, espresso martini, margaritas), and the food was good too. Only downside was the portion sizes were not the biggest for the main courses , but still tasted really good. It is on the pricier side of restaurants, but is worth it for a good date night.
Stunning space, beautiful views, a little bit over priced for the quality of the food, but still really good!
I recently had approx 20 guests for my birthday party at Broadview s Rooftop Patio & everything was amazing!!! Our server, Connor was unbelievably accommodating, prompt, etc. It made my birthday even better!! Thanks so much Connor & team!!!
Nice place to sit, chat, and have a drink with a friend. Good view of Queen St. E with downtown skyline to the west.
Nice place to have some drinks and have fun with friends
Lovely rooftop bar with great views of the skyline. The food was great, but could definitely benefit from a vegetarian or vegan main dish being added to the menu. I advise going at sunset to watch the sky glow behind the buildings.
Lovely date night dinner - the ribs were perfectly cooked (fall off the bone tender). The mocktails were fantastic too! Great service.
Great spot to have an early evening drink and take in the views
The rooftop restaurant has awesome service, food and views. Our waitstaff, Stephanie, was very friendly and professional and went out of her way to ensure our seating preferences were accommodated. Food : 5/5
Beautiful
A fun setting for drinks, dinner or even a wedding reception with a charming view whether you re overseeing the CN tower or not. However service was a little awkward and the menu is limited. Dessert option was underwhelming.
Great rooftop atmosphere
Seems like a great place but there is no chance you can show up here without a reservation, we got told a 30 minute wait time and 50 minutes later got no call and were forgot about
The place is overpriced and understaffed. The waiters are running around like chickens with their heads cut off - lost, confused, and irritated. At first, we only received one of the two dishes we ordered, then our waitress argued with us claiming that we didnt order that second dish. Finally, she took our second order and then brought us something completely different (chicken wings instead of ribs). Getting noticed by staff to get drink refills was not an easy task either. It almost felt like it wouldve been easier to just order drinks from the bar. The view was good, but not good enough to justify paying extra for that train wreck of a dining experience.
I recently dined at your establishment, where I spent over $200. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by a few mishaps that left me feeling unvalued as a customer. Towards the end of my meal, I was rushed by the waitstaff, despite my ongoing dining and drinking. It was uncomfortable to feel the pressure to finish quickly to accommodate the next guest. In addition to that, when I requested an espresso, the server, to whom I had given a substantial tip, informed me that coffee was available on the ground floor. This was surprising and rather disappointing. It seemed an unnecessary inconvenience when an espresso could have been easily brought up by elevator. In my opinion, such details significantly impact a guests dining experience. They are the small touches that either make or break it. Im disheartened to see that these issues were overlooked by the management. As it stands, I dont foresee a return visit in the future due to these unpleasant experiences.
Service was terrible and found hair in my food. Do not recommend.
Only go there to see the rooftop views cause the food is very mid
We loved this place. The food was awesome, and the view was great, too! My sister and I shared an entree of shrimp and a plate of bulgogi beef on a bun. It was the perfect size for two.
This enchanting venue is an exquisite haven, ideal for cherished moments with a loved one or gatherings among friends. The occasion of my girlfriends birthday was a magical affair as we basked in the captivating panorama of the CN Tower and downtown from the rooftop. The sun gracefully bid farewell as it painted the sky with vibrant hues, casting a mesmerizing glow over the entire setting. The drinks served were simply delightful, complementing the inviting atmosphere that enveloped us. Inside, the ambiance was nothing short of splendid, with its grand windows allowing natural light to dance on the tasteful furnishings. Undoubtedly, this captivating experience beckons us to return, eager to relish its captivating allure once more.
Very cool place. Nice view of the city. Wait staff was very nice.
A bit expensive but the food was good and the service was great
Go for the view, stay for the cocktails.
Had a great time. Server was super nice. Views are amazing. Will be back again.
Beautiful view the menu isnt very large standard bar menu, the cocktails were a bit strong and overpriced, but the decent service and stunning view definitely made it a great experience. Also, dont be fooled by the names on the menu it is definitely more loosely asian inspired. The bulgogi and the galbi ribs are nothing like the real thing.
It was a cute lil spot. Unfortunately it was drizzling so we didnt sit outside but we got a really good view from our table.
Amazing view of the city from the rooftop patio! Definitely check it out! Lovely food and great service too!
One of the best roof top views in the city, sadly though after being a here a few times I look at this place as cocktail bar only. The food menu needs a lot of work, all small little plates that are lacking substance, value and flavour. This spot has a lot more potential but they arent tapping into yet.
Very good Service and good, great view
**You need to make reservations to get a good spot for a good view.
Had an awesome time at The Rooftop! The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Plus, the view of the CN Tower was absolutely killer. Its definitely a spot to hit up if youre looking for a chill place to enjoy some good food, great drinks, and an epic skyline. Cant beat the combination of great bites, refreshing drinks, and that iconic view. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or a special date night. Thumbs up for The Rooftop!
The atmosphere was really nice. Maybe the music could have been turned down a smidge or different genre to make it not so loud. The service was quite slow, we had to find our server on multiple occasions to ask for dessert or an extra side of mayo. The food was very generic, nothing to say wow but I did enjoy the brussel sprouts. We ordered tacos, red hot bao, bang bang shrimp which was not particularly good or bad.
Great views! Very comfy rooftop patio. Theres a covers side lounge on the north side and the south side is outside. Perfect for after work drinks! The fries with spice are an awesome sharable!
Not my first time at The Rooftop. This time the food was not good. Had some simple apps. The bang bang shrimp was cold and tough, the edamame was undercooked and lacking that ease of feeling when the edamame pops out. We also had the tuna and that was ok. But, overall disappointing. Id go again as the atmosphere is lovely, save for all the wasps. But, certainly no fault of the bar itself. The service was ok.
Was planning on booking a reservation here for my birthday. Not only does their online reservation system not work, they ask for your credit card details so they can charge you a cancellation fee. Ive never had to give my credit card to book a simple reservation. These are shady business practices so I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Place located in one of the most beautiful terraces in the city. Located on the outskirts. Breathtaking view of the illuminated city. Decent food. Its a shame about the environment which is really very noisy at dinner. If the climate permits I recommend a table abroad.
Extremely nice staff and very good food.
Food is not good. Ordered shrimp taco and spicy chicken bao. That small $12 chocolate brownie was hard as a rock. But if you wanna pay for the view, go for it.
It was my first time going to this rooftop andy overall experience was great. The menu is a little bit limited in terms of options, but the food was delicious. I had a Red hot chicken bao and my husband had a Tuna bowl. The cocktail were also good, I really enjoyed mine which was bit sweet and not too strong. The service and the atmosphere were great. The view is simply amazing. Ill definitely return. This is the space to go for drinks and small bites.
Had a late night meeting at The Roof Top , attentive service , great atmosphere. Had a Ceasar salad it was the best I ve ever had. $$$ P parking across the street
very cute rooftop restaurant with 360 views of the city. food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced for the portion sizes!
They gave us blankets to keep warm on the roof. Decent vegans options. Kind of expensive but youre paying for the nice views and experience.
Amazing food and view
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great Will visit again for sure.
Not bad experience , not all the seating is comfy though Parking: Paid parking in front of the place Food : 4/5 |
Cool spot for a date, and to watch the sunset. Food and drinks, especially the ciders, are pricey. View was worth it
Beautiful location ,excellent ambience a perfect place to spend quality time.
The service was so slow, and it was not busy. Has been that way every time I have gone. They were not able to provide any celiac friendly dishes which is shocking for a restaurant in this location/caliber.
Amazing place, food is great and customer service is remarkable
Great view and good food. Service can be better. The waitress took 3 rounds in the span of like 20 mins to finish cleaning the plates off our table and was MIA most of the time (looks to be chatting or chilling at the bar)
We got lost in the shuffle and it took a while for our server to initially come, but after realizing the error she was helpful and attentive.
Great rooftop bar. Great layout and views. We shred a couple of appetizers and they were all good. Cant speak for the rest of the menu. Service was great.
Very pleasant to coexist and spend a lot of time, the food can improve but they have good options in cocktails , the service is very good.
Mock-tails so goood! Not a wide selection of food, but portion sizes are worth the bite! Food
The views from the restaurant are stunning!!! Try to get a table by the windows. The wings and the bang bang shrimp were our favorite
Burnt fries, waiters clearly ignored us.
Solid experience. Came for a wedding. It was a nice spot and I can see why they chose this hotel overall.
One of the worse places for gluten-free or allergy friendly foods. Almost nothing on their menu and waiter was rude to us saying nothing could be modified despite us asking nicely to talk to the kitchen. Yes the atmosphere is nice but you can only see the view from one area
Very unique rooftop setting with a chill-loft vibe. Great for drinks although the food was a bit forgettable. Definitely great for drinks.
Its a great location, fabulous views and design. The food is ok, not great. The cocktails are good. If someone would like to meet here I would not oppose, however it would not be a place I would have on the top of my list of places to go to. It is beautiful with great views however, and it is a must see. I would love to see them revamp their menu and cocktails.
Terrible service
Good food but desserts could be much better. No background music. Some spotlights fall on the face while we are at the table. Very good Portuguese wine.
too much expectation??
One may have elevated expectations for this establishment, however, apart from its favorable location and scenic views, the overall experience lacks distinction. It is advisable to dine elsewhere before visiting, as the cuisine is both exorbitantly priced and of subpar quality, while the cocktails exhibit a noticeable lack of expertise
