I loveeeeeeeeeeee their whole grilled chicken it’s super good. Juicy, yummy, super hot which is perfect for this super cold weather. But it’s super yummy and worth it!
Was walking by and decided to come in for a quick bite. Good service and delicious grilled chicken sandwich for a healthy meal. Got some chicken and potatoes for take out too and it was great. Will be back.

One of the worst places to spend money on food. Just look at the photo. How appetite it might be?! My son got chiken sandwich. It was bad taste pulled chicken with one piece of lettuce and a piece of tomato with no sauce!! He didn't even finish it because he found a bone in it!! I do not recommend the place at all.
Stop wasting your money and start shopping the right way. All this at the fraction of the grocery store salad bar. The quality is impeccable. Delicious, juicy, and very friendly staff. Multiple proteins and sides, absolutely delicious, …( and I literally checked, the weight …. this would have cost a ridiculous amount the grocery store) . Eat very well, spend much less and support your small neighbourhood business
Ordered the half chicken with rice and potatoes and was impressed with how much food there was! It’s enough for two meals. It’s also hard to find something for lunch with a lot of protein at a decent price, so this spot will be a place I will frequent often. The staff were also super friendly which I appreciate anywhere!
The prices are amazing, so good for such quality food! As a person that has been in the st Clair- yonge community for a long time I believe a healthy home cooked take out restaurant is just what the area needed! The salmon is always fresh- A personal favourite🤤
You guys were so nice and patient with us when we visited, and asked a whole bunch of questions - it was our first time! All I knew was that it was rotisserie chicken, and I was game - I love a good rotisserie chicken... And it was! Got a quarter leg meal and it came with 2 sides, with tax and tip came up to around $16. It was for lunch, the portion was huge so I had leftovers, so it was definitely enough for 2 small meals. Friend had roast beef with rice and he said it was good. Also - bonus points for taking AMEX! There's not much seating - just like 4 stools by the wall and window, so it's a grab and go kinda place I'd say. Will recommend, will be back!

Rice is old, chicken is dry, salad is wayyy too salty, portion is tiny. And price is not that cheap. There s literally no point to buy from this place

I used to go to the Ossington location all the time, and this one is just as good. The service was great, and the food just as great. Got the quarter chicken leg combo with rice and potatoes. Absolutely delicious and savoury.

Usually order this great Portuguese style chicken on Uber Eats. Today stopped for takeaway and took the combo to go - friendly server called Sidhu, and good portions. Chicken is never dry and juicy. If this company keeps up their quality and consistency then they will stay best rotisserie chicken in Toronto.

First time trying this place after walking by it so many times since opening. Shouldnt have waited this long. The young lady at the counter was friendly and fast. Got a whole grilled chicken and small Greek salad. Had to heat the chicken when we got home but no big deal. Both were very good. Their hit sauce is awesome. Curious to try their rotisserie chicken next time. Thanks!

My company ordered from this wonderful restaurant for our staff event, it was not only great food, but the customer service is exceptional to say the least. We were so pleased with the service which starts from the moment Raj picked up the phone to take the order. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who know what great food should taste like. The vegetarian options were great, the chicken was great, and we decided to order by popular demand for a second time..Thanks to the staff and Raj for delivering exceptional service and quality food...

The girls at the front were so nice and answered all of my questions. They even let me sample some sides as I wasn t quite sure what I wanted. A+ for customer service. The food is very flavourful and delicious. Also the portion is bigger than my head (I have a large head)! So that s a bonus. Pro tip : try the tomato potato
The food was delicious and the portions were great for the price. The sides are all hearty and fresh. The mains, specifically the chicken and salmon, were perfectly seasoned. The staff were attentive and enhanced the overall dining experience, providing excellent recommendations. This is probably one of the best meals at this price point that Ive had in the city. Food has a lot of flavour and plenty of sides to choose from. The owner was very sweet and its very clear the team is very passionate about the food on the menu. Will definitely swing by to pickup food again! :)

WOW! Just had Rooster catered to our office for lunch and everyone (including me) LOVED IT!! Chicken, rice, potatoes, greek salad were fantastic. The hot sauce is next level!! The owner was so helpful putting together the large order for us. We ate so much and it was only $18 pp all in with tax, tip and delivery. Amazing value. Will be going back asap. Just delicious!

I use to eat @ their Bloor location daily (not sure why I never left a review). Was addicted to their rotisserie chicken, roast beef, shawarma, beet salad, roasted potatoes (garlic lemon and tomato), chickpea salad, pasta salad and coleslaw. Spinach pies are amazing as well (very buttery, might need tums after). I went in here yesterday, thought they were open, but they open Tuesday, December 5th. I met Raj while I was in there (owner). Long story short, it s been quite a struggle to get this place opened (red tape), so he s invested most of his life into this place (the previous location fell victim to arson, that location is in the works of reopening as well, in early 2024). I m very excited for the grand opening! Raj, keep up the friendly attitude, service and great menu and things will go well! See you Tuesday! Vegetarian options: Many salads to choose from. Dietary restrictions: Great place if you re watching your calories. It helped me loose quite a bit of weight. Just avoid the spinach pies, rice and pasta salad (all of which are very tasty, but there are many other sides with more nutrition, less calories and less carbs to choose from). Their food doesn t have too much salt either, so you won t blimp out and feel all heavy and tired after eating. Kid-friendliness: Kids always love rice and pasta salad. It s a takeout place (with some seating). So if you re children are loud, it s ok

When I saw that they were opening on Yonge St. (I frequented their old Bloor St. store before it closed down), I knew it was a good thing. They have been my go-to place for yummy chicken and chops for years and they certainly did not disappoint when they opened in the new location. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff...you cant go wrong. Vegetarian options: They have salads and vegetables available. Wheelchair accessibility: Theyre at street level. No stairs.

The Rooster is our neighbour here at Yonge and St. Clair. We eat there for lunch all the time. Best Hand Pulled Chicken Sandwich in town. You can tell that they put so much love and care into their cooking. The Staff are super friendly and helpful and they have so many more options that just rotisserie chicken, roast beef, ribs, fish etc. If you havent tried this place yet, you are missing out!
Best Rotisserie Chicken in Toronto Hands Down! Especially love the Hand Pulled Chicken Sandwich. I consider myself to be a roast chicken addict. Ive been living here for almost 40 years, Ive tried every chicken joint in Toronto and this one now definitely my favourite. Ill Be going there for lunch again today!!! Thanks so much to the staff who are so friendly and kind. Cant say enough good things about the Rooster.
