This place is a must try. We had the meal for 2, it was enough food to fill us to the brim. The ceiser salad was delicious and so was the pizza and pasta we added meatballs it was perfect. The price is also right.

Had the Funghi Pizza (Single Size) and it was more than filling. Pasta was fantastic, position sizes are more than enough.

I ve eaten a lot of pizza in and out of Toronto, and this was the BEST pizza I ve ever eaten in my life. We had the sunny egg and braised beer and the gourmet truffle and mushroom. The egg although intimidating was so good, the yolk was runny and paired with the braised beef perfectly. 12/10.

I had the braised beef pasta based on the 94% rating on UE. Wish I hadnt trusted the reviews. It isn t bad, but just basic like something I could make myself. Portions are good, but I won t order again.

I have found this special place through internet. It is a pleasant spot, quiet and clean. It looks like a family business. Ladies behind the kitchen are very polite. I brought my friend who is leaving Canada to return ti Spain, and we both had a very nice late lunch. Pasta, pizza and salad are really tasty. I will definitely go back with my other colleagues. Amazing food and great service.

Affordable price for the combo sets, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, and 1 salad with 2 pops. Mushroom pizza and salad are delicious, but the carbonara pasta was too greasy, and with too much black pepper flavor. But overall, it was great, would love to try another flavor of pasta next time.

We ordered the meal for two last week and chose the Bolognese, Margarita Pizza and Caesar salad. The portion sizes were perfect and the quality of the pasta and pizza was phenomenal for the price. Caesar salad was light and refreshing. I just had the Pesto Chicken Pasta for lunch and it was rich and delicious. Overall, a great spot for affordable, high-quality pizza and pasta. Also appears to be family run and operated and the service is exceptional!

Pesto chicken pasta was a bland mess, worst pasta Ive ever had in my entire life. A complete waste of money; almost threw up trying to eat it. My body physically did not allow me to finish it and I was seriously trying because I paid so much. This place needs to be closed down.

1. The food every time I ve gone has been some of the most delicious pasta dishes I ve had. 2. The service has always been very fast and excellent. 3. The icing on the cake is the relaxing music they have on in the back. This is my go to spot with my girlfriend in downtown Toronto and we both highly recommend it.

The host was very warm. He was kind to my children. The service was excellent; exceeded expectations for a server-less, fast-food-ish restaurant. The host helped me with my son s stroller, brought our food to the table, and made my daughter laugh. Food was good: simple, tasty, although I didn t try the pizza. I appreciate the owners. It appears to be a family-run location. I d return mostly to support their business.

All good. Very good Italian joint in downtown Toronto, near Nathan Philips square. The entry door is quite tricky, looks like door of containers, we almost missed it ..lol and then came back after taking a round. Food is very nice. Authentic Italian. Order and you can sit for hours even on a busy weekend. Vegetarian options: Garlic bread. Veg pizza and pasta options are available too. About 3 to 4 veg options. Coffee is there too and even tea.

Dined in during my lunch break and it was a great experience! We ordered at the counter and received our food quite quickly. I ordered the Gourmet Mushroom and Truffle Pizza and I absolutely loved it. If you enjoy mushrooms and creamy sauces, then I highly recommend this! The staff were friendly and the ambiance was incredibly comfortable, especially if you take a seat by their floor to ceiling windows. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would recommend. :)

LITERALLY THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER!! Had one bite of carbonara and went straight to the garbage. Noodles were undercooked and blended with weird brown sauce..

Chill spot- I love their pizza and pasta. Reasonable price. I used to go here all the time. I love their chilli oil that you can ask for to put on your pizza or pasta.

I went here on a whim with my sister. We were passing by and decided we wanted pasta without looking at reviews. Both of our pastas were undercooked (less cooked than al dente). I ordered the carbonara which had some sort of brownish colour? We couldnt finish the pastas because they were not very good. For this much money, I would expect more. The cashiers were very nice though! Very sweet women.

The staff was mean. I carried my dog on my arm and didn t touch anything. I was to pick up my order but the staff there was so mean to my dog. If dog is not allowed, just show it. Otherwise, how can we know if is pet friendly??

I loved this place! The pasta is super delicious and the staff is so nice. I came there with my toddler twice and they were so accommodating, they made pasta especially for him, no meat, no herbs Super friendly staff and well priced!

Tried the gourmet mushroom with truffle pizza. The single thin crust had the right crisp and combined with the tasty mushroom and flavorful sauce, found it surprisingly good and filling. The carbonara with mushroom was also creamy and tasty but not cloyingly rich. I have hearing issues so for me the acoustics was so bad that there was so much echo and found it really hard to have a good conversation without straining ones voice. Some padding to dampen the noise would help as the bare ceiling while interesting worsened if not caused the way the sound bounced a lot. An older lady serving at the counter could have more manners as she literally gave me and my colleagues the evil eye when we asked for condiments or spare napkins. Her rudeness is off putting. Will I come back? A big maybe for a to go but not to dine. Hard to eat and enjoy a conversation with friends with that noise.

Im not a food expert but this is my go to Italian restaurant! Decent prixe, portion, nice atmosphere Its kind of self served so you have to go to the front to pick up and put your dishes away after.

This review is only after one visit. Lets start with the positives: This place has a great atmosphere. The front door, the dining area, the kitchen all fit the same modern/urban vibe. The menu has a lot of variety. Cons: My quick fire personal pizza took 12-15 minutes. There are plenty of pizza places that can get a large pizza done faster than that and they dont claim to be quickfire. The pizza was decent at best. $16 after tax for a personal pizza is steep. ------- I would try again, but maybe get the pasta instead.

Quick sitdown cooked to order Italian pasta and pizza joint near Bay and Wellesley in downtown Toronto. Ordered the meal for 2. You get a choice of pasta, single size pizza, a side salad and 2 cans of soda. Pizza had a crispy crust, which I prefer. Caesar salad was a good size. Norma pasta is a blend of white and tomato sauces with mixed vegetables and technically can feed 3 people. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Decor is a warehouse feel. The dining area is split into lower and upper areas. Lots of food delivery app orders. But service is still efficient. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian pasta options. Parking: There is no on street parking in front of restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is split into a lower and upper dining area. Upper dining area is not wheelchair friendly. Main entrance is not motorized.

It was okay, you dont have to expect original Italian food (more American-Italian), but for the cheap price its okay. Cozy atmosphere and nice staff. Pretty much right next to a tram station.

Pizza, pasta .. uniquely Italian eatery in the heart of downtown Toronto not far away from City Hall and Eaton Centre. The food we ordered is really delicious. Their Nero pasta (black pasta) is unique. It is not black inked noodle but a black noodle so the black ink doesn t melt in your mouth. The sunny egg & braised beef pizza is super delicious. The place also serves beer, wine to complement the Italian dishes.

We come to this place every week and the food is delicious every time! The staff are awesome and always accommodate us . Appreciate you guys Food : 5/5

Pasta was al dente and delicious

Selected this spot based on Google ratings for a quick, nearby option. Maybe it was an off day, but the pasta pesto didnt align with my taste buds, and it didnt resemble pesto at all. The sauce was excessively oily, with mushy tomato bits and spinach leaves. Plus the bland chicken bits left me a bit disappointed. On a positive note, I liked the cafeteria-style ordering with a buzzer system. Three stars from me.

Have the food a 3 because of the price/portion size. Either the price needs to be lower or the portion size needs to be bigger. I had a meat all sandwich which was $11 and the sandwich was very small. Tasted good but not enough for a full meal.

Terrible Tiramisu! Food was very ordinary. We paid extra for whole wheat pasta but they cheated and gave the regular one. The tiramisu was disgusting, definite salmonella poisoning causing terrible stomach upset and sickness. Still suffering and sick a week later. The cheats should be reported to health authorities to review their food hygiene standards!

I love the food here, it is pretty affordable and tasty. My favourite is Chicken sandwich with Brie and a mushroom pizza I have forgotten the name. You can order and pick up using their website or through uber eats and I usually received many deals. The wait is reasonable and they have those pagers that will let you know when your food is ready so you can hang out nearby or shop around.

They have the best mushroom and truffle pizza! So good! Also once tried one of their pastas and it was pretty good All my interactions with the staff were kind and professional

I ordered - Funghi pasta $ 15.5 - Earl grey tea $2.5 - Cannoli $ 7 (3 pieces) I loved the pasta. Tasty and fresh. The only fownside was that is had large pieces of caramelized onion as you can see in the pictures. Tea ans Cannoli were good, too. Service was fast and staff were professional. One more point: Their washroom is like a maze. You have to open a couple of foors to ge there. The tap is slow. All in all good. I may try their pizzas another time.

Tasty Pasta and Pizza

The pizza crust was so hard my kids couldn t eat it and I had to make them something else for dinner. The memo says the Marguerita pizza (1+share) feeds 2-4 people it was 6 tiny squares. 3 of those squares would not even equal one slice from any other pizza place in Toronto. Cost = $20+ It was pathetic. I called to complain and got no where, they took no responsibility for the food being cold or for the misleading statement about how many it would feed. I would never order from this restaurant again and I would go so far as to discourage anyone else from ordering their food. Terrible experience.

We can get cannoli from holi cannoli in here. The pizza is good here too and they put a large amount of toppings.

Interesting little Italian place. Slim selection on the menu but tasty. Tried the carbonara to go. Good portion size. A little on the pricey side but makes a nice change. Staff was pleasant even though I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing. Clean restaurant but limited seating section.

Mediocre to good overall. Good quality is to be expected for the speed, but the price is unjustified for the mediocre quality of food. $19 is quite a lot for a chicken pesto pasta that tasted like chopped basil with olive oil and lemon. The bolognese was much better.

I have been eating at Tosto (Bay St) ever since it first opened. It is always a pleasant casual di ing experience.

Pasta was hard, all stuck together, and really oily. Tiramisu doesnt even taste like tiramisu and it was tiny. My order said it was ready for pickup but I had to wait an extra 30 minutes after I got there. The food looks nothing like the photos

Their pizza sizes are not standard. The small pizza is one regular slice at most pizza places. Their shared medium pizza which is supp to feed 2-3 ppl won t feed one hungry person either. The food is ok but def not worth the price. You are paying for the location not the quality of food.

Bit of a wait when its busy. Not my choice for a personal meal but great to share with friends. Portions are pretty good sized and the pizza bases are on the thicker side but its cooked to a crispy and crunchy texture. Pasta and salads are pretty standard and no surprises there.

This is a great place to grab a quick lunch with your colleagues. It offers delicious fresh pasta options, and quick service with a self-serve style format. The food is so consistent and we can be in and out in an hour or less quite comfortably. The funghi pasta is my go-to. The portion sizes are very generous. Would recommend!

I visited this place yesterday and I was so disappointed with the food. I ordered the pasta and it was completely bland and barely had any flavour or seasoning. The lobster in the pasta was badly prepared and was slightly over cooked. Never going back to this place again.

Very tasty. Id go again for good pasta with a semi-fast food convenience. I took the fungi with extra chicken. It did bother me that they wanted to charge me 1$ for some extra parmesan. I didnt take it on principle. Thats why the 4 stars. one little bit extra? Come on... Especially since theyre not charging rock bottom prices.

Me and my friend stopped by when we saw this restaurant and good thing we did! The portion size for the price was incredibly good. This pasta was only $9.50!!! Including the drink it was $14.00. Normally, at the the restaurants I go to I don t eat pasta much as it s always around $18-20 but when I saw it I definitely wanted to give it a shot. We switched the spaghetti pasta with the thicker noodle pasta and it was delicious . The sauce, the taste of the food, pricing, and service was wonderful! Would definitely come back again!

Absolutely well done. I cant think of a better pasta place at this price in Toronto. The handmade pasta is just perfect with the creamy fungi sauce. The quickfire pizza is also delicious and hot, they are never shy on toppings!

The bag came completely sealed (love it!) Youll be surprised how many restaurants do not properly seal bags / packaging. The food was amazing, really tastey! The portion was good too. Being downtown some of the other restaurants have higher pricing and way less portion. 5 stars well deserved and will be a repeat customer!

Carbonara was brown I guess they used soy sauce. It was undercooked (more than aldante) Pizza was normal.

I ve been here a handful of times. The food is usually pretty great, but the service is slow. They seem to have improved slightly, but considering it s most commonly a lunch place in business location, they need to do better.

Horrible pasta! Watery oily mess. Ordered take out and it arrived with no cutlery!!! I had to leave work to go find a fork. Reallly really questionable dish. Dont try the pesto chicken you can make a better pesto at home. This cost me 28.00 !!! No drink

Great flavours and portions. They have a great variety of pastas available at the restaurant along with some delicious pizzas. However, the sauce is a bit too oily.
