We ordered take out for 7 to 8 people and 2 orders worth like $90 were just forgotten. The food that arrived was sub par, their onion soup tastes like its from a can and the steak wasnt cooked properly. The burger was ironically delicious however. Was on hold for 30 min before hanging up and going to the restaurant to make the order in person. Will not order from here again.

We had a great meal. I tried the Short Rib Rigatoni Ragu. The rib meat was super delicious. Our waitress Nav was very attentive to our large group. We had a nice quiet table. The bartender Nicolette was hospitable and we love the selection of mocktails and cocktails. Just a great place for a get together. Cheers!

Got ignored at the bar. Woman bartender too busy talking and serving men first. Sat over 10 min, she walked past me many times. I left, went to the Keg and had great service.

Steve was our server and he was fantastic, he truly made our evening. Very responsive and personal and anticipated our every need. Would love to come back and be served by him again.

Unfortunately, I didnt get to have breakfast here. I waited 10 minutes to be seated in a half empty restaurant and then was seated where I waited another 15 minutes for anyone to come by and offer coffee or take an order.

Meh. Food is severely overpriced. Ordered the cheapest thing on the menu and it wasn t terrible, but the singular cup serving Beef Barley soup had not a grain of barley in sight lol.

After a long flight, I came here to eat on my first night at the hotel and had the fish and chips. The team is very kind and helpful. Food and service was great. Very clean booth. My last night I ordered a burger and fries for room service. Food was great again and the staff member delivering my food was very professional and friendly. I will be recommending this place for sure!

Ordered the shrimp and it tasted like they were previously frozen and they were small, and covered with a mayo sauce on iceberg lettuce. Flavour was only from the mayo sauce. For $19 it was way overpriced. Only worth about $7.99. Also ordered the nachos and they were so bad we had to ask for a refund which Im not sure of Ive ever done that! They were slathered in a foamy movie theater cheese, with lettuce all over to hide it and raw veggies thrown all over. $31 was an outrageous price for what it cost to make them! The waitress and manager were understanding and they refunded us without any issue. My suggestion just go to MOXIES down the road..much better and same price point.

I m visiting Toronto from the states for about to week and I must say this was my first unwelcoming experience. I came in this morning with my fiancé for breakfast. The restaurant may have only had 4 tables occupied not busy at all. We sat for about 15 minutes without the waitress even acknowledging our table. She may have walked by 5 times and went to the tables across from us and beside. With not ever a single acknowledgment of I ll be with you soon or nothing. I m not sure if it was because we were the only 2 people of color or what. To make a long sorry short we ended up just walking out and going somewhere nearby.

Greg, the waiter as well as Nicolette, the server and the manager Cheryl made this experience more than welcoming. I travel tons across North America for work and if you need to come to the Toronto area, you need to come to this Doubletree and this restaurant because the service is amazing.!!!!!

I stayed nearby and this seemed like the nicest hotel restaurant in the area. The restaurant had a decent dining experience. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, meeting expectations. While the service was moderate, it was efficient and attentive. Overall, its a reliable choice for a satisfying meal.

I am a diehard Turtle Jacks fan and have been going to Turtle Jacks for over 20 years and their wings are up there as the best wings I have ever eaten. This location however does not appear to follow the same Turtle Jacks standard of quality. I have been to this location twice over the past two years and both times have been a huge disappointment. While it is clear that the wings are same large juicy wings you get at all TJs they are definitely somehow preparing them differently and their sauce is definitely not the same as other TJs. This week the wings were so bad that I only ate half my order. The service was great, While the atmosphere is ok.the restaurant it not designed the same as all the other TJs so it has me thinking that there might be some kind of one off situation with this location that they dont necessarily follow the same quality checks as all the other locations (I have been to at least 5 other locations with no issues). I would avoid this location.

Turtle Jacks is our favorite restaurant whenever we visit Toronto. We love the ribs, steak and the amazing salads - be sure to try the burger salad! Our favorite server is Romina - she always greets us with the happiest face, is the nicest person, and remembers our favorite drink orders and food order every time. She a big part of why we go to Turtle Jacks religiously.

Always a pleasure going to turtle Jacks there are turtle wings are always amazing I very much enjoy the New York butter sauce the atmosphere is always good and they always have a seat available but it is always my go-to spot for wings the only issue I have here is the parking even though the parking is free you still have to get the ticket from the machine when entering and insert the ticket at when youre leaving whenever leaving the ticket usually doesnt work and you have to call security to open the gate for you

The prices are exorbitant for what you get and the service is poor at best.

Probably the worst experience ever at a turtle jacks. First off the service is the slowest I have had in Toronto airport area. We missed a flight due to what happened. So this meal cost us $1000 for some eggs. The server after eating took 45 minutes after asking several times to get us the bill. Had to ask the host to finally get it. After paying we tried leaving and they lock everyone in the place. Doors do not open going out. I had to go to the controls to allow myself to leave. The server told me I the transaction did not go through. He said one of the machines does not work. I said why do you hand it to people then if you know this. He said just incase it does work or some crap. My jaw was on the floor by this dumb remark. He told me to check if the transaction went through. I left my phone in the car due to my partner had hers and needed to charge mine before the flight. Anyways got double charged, because he had no way of seeing it my thank you come again ment I paid the first time. Horrible place. 8 bucks for half hour parking. It s a joke and this place will go under. Should stay in Muskoka if this is the treatment people get. Please don t replay this chain is horrible everywhere and don t want to hear from you. You have screwed over my holiday plans. At least when someone orders coffee and waits 40 minutes for eggs. Bring them a spoon. And when they ask for a spoon bring them one. Took 20 minutes for a spoon. And asked 3 times. We used something else in the end. This place is a really big joke.

Today me and my aunt had an amazing night! We were serviced by Ashley she was so sweet and welcoming I had the Basa tacos THEY WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD! Will totally come back when i visit toronto

My niece and I came in from NY for a mini weekend vacation. This was our first visit .. the restaurant is such a vibe.. food was delicious .. and our waitress Ashley was outstanding!! Please ask for her when you visit! We will definitely be coming back

We had a Great experience! Our server was Jasmine and did a wonderful job at making us feel welcome, remembering our order entirely although we know it was a lot and the little confusing! She took the time to explain everything to us. The food arrived prompt on time hot fresh and delicious. The butter tart dessert was also excellent and made in Howse. Reasonable prices and a very comfortable atmosphere and would recommend.

Special shoutout to Shannon. She was terrific and super friendly. Top tier waitress. We very much enjoyed the food.

I had an AWESOME experience here! The food, our server (Kamelia) and the chef (Josh) were all fantastic! Kamelia was so friendly and made sure our drinks were always full. She even recommended our appetizer (Guac and chips) that we would definitely order again! The food came out faster than we expected (it was a little busy so we thought it would take longer). Everything was fresh and delicious. The chef even came out to personally check that we enjoyed everything. He was very professional and wore his uniform well. I felt like they really went that extra mile for us. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Went to restaurant on June 1 for a quick bite to eat. When we arrived we noticed how empty it was in general (and only two tables had people on the side we were seated) so we thought good choice. Well we were so wrong!! The hostess seated us and advised our waiter, Shannon would be by to take our order. After 15 mins passed, she never came by. We decided to leave due to the lack of service. It would not be acceptable to stay and encourage it is ok. We told the hostess no one came by to even offer a glass of water. She just validated our parking and we left, did not even acknowledge no service!! We went over to Moxies which was packed, however we still got excellent, fast service and delicious food, imagine!! A huge thank you to Moxies who understands customer service!

What a great place! If you are anywhere near by then 100% you need to drop in! The food is wow, the drinks are on point and the prices will amaze you. Most importantly the staff treat you like your an old friend that came to see them and catch up. This restaurant surpasses expectations in all categories, a 5 star for sure, without a doubt.

The food was decent (wings were pretty good), but absolutely one of the worst service experiences Ive ever had in a restaurant in my entire life. Three of us came in for lunch and when we arrived there was nobody else there. Waitress came over and took our initial order, but sadly thats where any level of activity that could remotely be considered service ended. She literally never came back....once...ever...not even to check on us. We each ordered wings and a beer, which shouldnt be that difficult. After the food runners brought the food nobody ever came back. We had to flag down a busboy to ask for a 2nd round of drinks. After several minutes half of us got another drink, the other did not (and ultimately everyone was charged for two.) Once we were done we then had to fight twice for our checks, once to another server and finally one of us went over to the bar and told the original server we were leaving. she finally brought the checks, which half had to be corrected for the 2nd round of drinks that never came. We finally paid and left. From the time we sat down, ordered, ate our food, got half a second round, and finally got the checks, paid, and left, was 2 hours and 3 minutes of our lives that well never get back....Absolutely unacceptable under any circumstances, but certainly not when its not very busy. To add insult to injury, there were a couple groups of small children (3-5 years old), who were running amok throughout the restaurant, climbing on other patrons seats, running into their tables, etc., without a parent in sight, and staff did not seem to care either. Definitely would not waste my time coming back here again, not worth the subpar service or time.

Amazing food! The bison burger was so yummy and the Gluten Free bun held together. The servers were super supportive of each other. When one was not busy, they were helping the busy ones. Keshia was our server and was so kind. There was an unruly group and they were allowing their kids to run around and the manager handled them with patience while also protecting her serving staff to keep them safe.

Turtle Jacks accommodated a group of approximately 65 people, including children for a team dinner. The staff was knowledgeable, flexible, comprehensive and well-organized. Would recommend!

Great food at Turtle Jacks with plenty of options. This turtle jacks makes a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Also- the blackened chicken entree is my favourite thing on the menu. Service here has been hit or miss for me at this location, but overall every staff member is friendly.

Convenient while staying at the DoubleTree and food was great. Very good fresh house salad with the balsamic vinaigrette on the side, served w a hot tomato bisque and perfect toast points. The poke bowl was just right, I didn t need the aioli, but tasted it and it was very good. I never like loud pop-like music in restaurants, personal pref. Very clean, quaint. And service by Stephen really made it all worth it! Thanks

The older Asian server forced us to leave a tip even tho we got absolutely no service during our free hotel breakfast. Not even coffee.

Steve the server was an absolute gem. He was so enthusiastic and helpful, and he definitely made the night a joyful one. The food was decent, but Steve really made the night. The bartender Cheyenne was also fantastic. My day was hard, I was tired, and leaving this place I was both happy and energetic.

Meal and service was fine. The problem was getting out of the parking lot. The machines were taped up in some spots and the bar code reader refused to let anyone out. Based on the parking alone, I will never return to this location.

Service was really slow even though they weren t too busy and we got 3 dishes sent to us and they were not ours, then our food was bad compared for the expensive price. Like if I m gonna pay almost 30$ for some pasta I would expect something delicious but it was rather bad

Went here for Valentine s Day dinner. Extremely disappointed. Waited half an hour to be seated even though there was no rush. The server would just disappear and not come back for 10 minutes and tell us just one moment and disappear again. Then when we were finally seated. Waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Another 1/2 hour for the food to come out. Fries were soggy but hot(heated). Food was okay. Our server wasn t very friendly towards us either until it was close to the time for the bill which was brought over very quickly after asking. I m reading other reviews about slow service but I thought they d be better on a special occasion. Ive visited so many TJ locations and they usually have great service and quality but this location is terrible. Do not recommend.

Nice place and good service. I ordered the fish and chips and nobody cooks fish like ma does, so... tried some calamari and it was ok. Crispier then the fish! Parking: You need a key card to enter, however, if you hit the phone button where you swipe your card, you can let them know you are there to eat.

We enjoyed everything about our visit but the man (who ever he was) was EXTREMELY loud and abrupt when he delivered our dishes to the table. Our server was very pleasant. She gave suggestions and recommendations and answered all our questions. We were not rushed and felt welcome.

I loved every bite this place had to offer, the cocktails were so delicious and made to the point. The meatloaf was definitely on point.

We made a reservation 8 hours in advance and was told at the door that there were 2 tables ahead of us who just got their food. If we were lucky we would get our food an hour after our reservation is what were were told by staff. Extremely poor planning and management and definitely would not come back or even try coming

Was in town for a trade show, myself and 2 of my female coworkers stopped by the bar for a drink after a 14 hour work day. Exhausted around 11pm we wanted to sit at the bar, it was fairly empty yet there was no space for 3 people to sit beside each other. When we asked another waitress near by where we could sit at the bar, she said Make room and sit anywhere we mentioned there was dirty plates just sitting there and we werent sure if the seat was occupied or not and when asked if we could have it cleaned she stated to push it to the side and sit down as the bartender is expected to clean it up. That never did happen so we sat beside old food and dishes for 45 mins. The bartender who was very nice and kind, was either very intoxicated or heavily under the influence of an upper drug. He left mid our stay for 10 mins to what he hinted at to another customer as a bump when we asked another waitress when we could expect his return in order to order a second drink they werent sure when he would be back as he was on break. Upon his return he was eratic, threw straws across the floor, made the SAME drink as the first one completely differently, overpoured. It was honestly a very uncomfortable situation for 3 girls in our 20s..

Excellent place for an upscale brunch. Make sure to take your time and enjoy the place. I would definitely go back. Great place to take a date too.

I enjoyed turtle Jacks.. Our waitress was amazing. Her attitude, her approach was very friendly. She checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The food portions are decent size. Deep fried pickles... Gotta try lol.... Love me some deep. Fried pickles. Very filling. I recommend... The only thing I didnt like was the washrooms. I believe the washroom was part of the hotel as you have to come out of the restaurant to get to it. Anyways the washoor was dirty, clogged Toilet and no toilet paper. But the restaurant itself was good. Parking: The parking lot is paid but the restaurant validates your ticket so its free

The food was absolutely surprising. I legitimately had no idea you could order Italian and Indian food at the same time and have them both be amazing. Steve, our waiter, was absolutely incredible, and gave us an amazing experience. I m American, so my 5 stars is technically worth 6 Canadian.

Food was great. I like my roasters chicken wings. But the parking experience should be improved. Ticket validation doesnt work and have to go back 2x into the restaurant but it never got fixed. Instead they manually raised the gate from their end. Shouldve done that the first time.

Its a bar with restaurant seating. Lots of big screens if you like sports. Menu has lots of options. I had a Turkey Club sandwich and my friend had the seafood linguini. Both were very tasty. Service was a bit slow as it was Canada Day and they were busier than they thought they would be. We also had breakfast there. There is a buffet with decent options and they open at 6 am which was perfect for us. The service was great.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto but was very disappointed. Ordered their big wings, which came out as small as you can get. Was told it was because of the food supply. My response to the manager was that they shouldnt be charging $16 for 5 wings that are less than the size of my hand altogether. Its such a joke. He offered me 4 more smaller wings to make up for it. In the end, he took care of my food bill. Was very disappointed with the overall experience. Waitress was fantastic, and I enjoyed my $16 margaritas.

Fryer food was burnt (calamari + wings), wing bones breaking as we are them. Bang bang shrimp was really good.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our server Steven was very attentive, friendly and engaging. A new experience for me was when he asked if anyone had any food allergies. The service just excelled from that point on. We would definitely return.

First time at a Turtle Jacks and it left a great first impression, will definitely come back! We came for a work lunch and they made sure we all had drinks even with some people arriving late. Food was also brought out at the same time and absolutely delicious! Just an FYI, there is a gate at the entrance of the plaza where youll need to get a parking ticket for but they validate it for you if you eat there!

Conveniently located near hotels adjacent to the airport. One of the few restaurants that were open until late. Only problem I found was when I tried to exit the parking lot. They should install a light to show the options near the gate more clearly -- I couldnt see the call operator option etched into the metal plate, so I had to go back to the restaurant that was closing up and try to speak in sign language to figure out how to get out without paying for parking -- theres no parking for patrons of the restaurant, we were told. Food was great! Atmosphere had choices -- bar or table. We took a table away from the noise so we could talk better. Server (Rihanna, if I am not mistaken) was very good. Checked up on us with just the right frequency. Good conversationalist as well. Id go there again if I am in the area, now that I know where the call operator button is at the exit gate! Vegetarian options: I had the Power Bowl. There was a Beyond Meat burger as well, and some salads.

We just had breakfast at Turtle Jacks. I was highly disappointed with the food and service. The plates had dirt on them when our food came. The sausage was shriveled up and the eggs had a crust around them. The service was dreadful! The server barely took the time to fill our second copy of coffee to a full amount. He would run bye and ask if everything was ok, but wouldnt stay long enough to hear an answer. We had to ask for our bill 3 times. I didnt want to leave any tip, but he said it was very busy and when I asked if he was the only server his reply was yes, so not his fault. There was a manager in the restaurant, but I didnt see him do anything to help the situation out. I will never be back!

Kind of expensive, especially for breakfast. Everything was mushy and under seasoned. Wait staff inattentive. Only time the waitress acknowledged me was to bring me coffee and ask if I wanted a refill. Then ignored me for over an hour.

I wish I could remember our waitress name, she was SO incredibly friendly and kind. Espresso martini was fantastic, so was the Tuna Poke Bowl and Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Do not visit during off hours. Visited around 3pm and sat at bar without a service for over 15 minutes despite there only being two other customers in the whole restaurant. Servers just walked by me.

The food was perfect! But unfortunately our service was not. Just extremely slow, never checking in on us. And when we had to hunt our waitress down for more water she forgot twice. The bills also took forever to come at the end of the night. But she was friendly at least. And everyone enjoyed their food!

Great food. Service was a little slow and drink orders were wrong. Parking: Parking has to be validated. Machine didn t work and 3 cars in our group had to be buzzed out. Wheelchair accessibility: Some end tables can accommodate wheelchairs. Lots of room.

The wings are a real joke. I had the turtle wings and asked for a refund. Ridiculous how small they were. Even the gentleman next to me felt insulted. I didn t want to pay for it, left the place hungry after it had just closed. Sorry but not impressed at all.

Came here for a last minute dinner reservation for 10 people, after an event across the street on a Sunday evening. They werre able to accomodate our group comfortably and were very prompt with their service, as our group was seated right away. Their staff were very welcoming and came around our table often during our stay. Service 5/5 The restaurant itself is annexed to the Double Tree Hotel, and had a good amount of parking. The establishment is well-maintained and clean. During our visit the place did seem a little bit empty and quieter. There are also no restrooms in the restaurant itself, however one is located outside in the hallway connecting to the hotel. Atmosphere 3/5 My wife and I ordered fried pickles as our appetizer and they were great. For the main dishes, we had an order of the Big Wing Dinner with fries & a side of gravy, and an order of their Rib and Wings combo. Our food came out at a reasonable time, together with the reat of our groups orders. The fries were crispy, wings were seasoned well and the ribs were tender and juicy. The only negative feedback I have is that I asked for a Honey Garlic sauce on the wings and BBQ for the ribs, but both came with only the BBQ sauce. Food 4/5 Parking: Hotel parking

Went here tonight for dinner, staying at the Marriott across the road. Conveniently located within walking distance. Large, spacious restaurant. For the most part modern and well kept. Our waitress was pleasant. Service was a touch on the slower side, but the restaurant was also very busy. Food on the other hand was phenomenal. I had the chicken fajita wrap with Caesar salad. While most places will upcharge for the salad, this place did not. Portion size was perfect. My wife had the Buffalo chicken wrap with mashed potatoes. No complaints about either. The potatoes tasted as though they were homemade, which is a far cry from most restaurants. Overall, we would return again.

We had a large group, and everything was wonderful - from the server to drinks to our meals.

Great food, but a bit over priced. Our waitress was also the bartender in a busy restaurant, but she kept up with us and the bar.

We were served Kamilla. She is most awesome, friendly, attentive and amazing service. Kudos and appreciation.

Great service. Chicken was dry on the chicken ceaser salad but overall still quite good.

We had our Christmas function here and were treated very well.
