Urban Thai offers delicious FOOD takeout and delivery to Toronto, ON. Urban Thai is a cornerstone in the Toronto community and has been recognized for its outstanding Thai cuisine, excellent service and friendly staff. Our Thai restaurant is known for its modern interpretation of classic dishes and its insistence on only using high quality fresh ingredients.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ON UBER EATS. Order never gets delivered, you call them to find out where it is, and they answer the phone then hang up, or never pick up.
Worst thai restaurant I've ever been too. They seem to be just looking up ingredients to thai dishes and just putting them together without any reference. For example the mango sticky rice. They have a picture of it on the Uber eats page but when you order it something completely different comes.
Never had a sour tasting pad Thai before. Not normally a picky eater but I really wasn’t a fan of this food. Also not sure why vegan pad thai is $4 more than non-vegan pad Thai when the ingredients seem pretty much the Same (just no egg).
Went to this place for a quick meal for me plus one and was blown away. The prices are great, we ordered a regular and a curry pad thai and the size was great and the veggies tasted fresh. We also ordered a side of calamari and the portion was massive! we got three meals out of just one visit. This isn’t an early in restaurant so the atmosphere rating really doesn’t say much, the people there are super nice aswell.
I was nervous after reading the other reviews but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. It tasted alright. Although I was a little disappointed to see the chicken was fried when I specifically chose a menu item that made no mention in the description of being fried.
× DO NOT ORDER × (DELIVERY REVIEW) Truly I would give this zero if it was possible. The food took an hour to arrive, the driver waited at the restaurant for over 30 min once he got there! This restaurant was a 7 min drive from our hotel!!! The food was extremely disappointing. The Mango salad, rotten Mango, looked and tasted old. The poutine came with rotten sour cream, visibly curdled (pictured). The pad Thai, as my co-taster described perfectly, tasted like the smell of a Porta potty, not ideal as well as missing the peanuts and wilted greens. The fried rice had virtually no flavour, it tasted like the paper bag it came in, the colour was extremely Grey. The spring rolls came free with our order, but tragically were also flavorless. Overall the only part of our meal that was enjoyable was the bottle of peach pure leaf tea 🙃. There were two of us, very hungry after not having eaten ! Both left hungry with rotten food tasted, the total was around 70$. 0/5 would literally never order again
Awful, awful, awful! Do NOT order here from Uber Eats. Order took an hour to arrive. They use another delivery service so we could not to track delivery. We called the restaurant when the food was supposed to arrive and they said the driver was on their way and it'd be another 10 mins... but it was not. Eventually we received the food but look at how poorly it was made. Got the BOGO Pad See Ew. This is what $6 of beef looks like. One box had 4 pieces of beef and 3 pieces of broccoli. The little pieces of onion and broccoli were RAW, and the beef tasted off. The noodles were tasty but it's hard to mess up rice noodles, salt, pepper, tons of oil, and a splash of soy sauce. This is my first time leaving a 1-star review on Google. These are my unfortunate honest opinions. Order from elsewhere.
I had this vegetable pad Thai for the first time at their college st location and was blown away with how good & flavourful it was. I also scarfed it down so quickly and wanted more. I happened to be working by this parliament st location so I definitely wanted to have the vegetable pad Thai again, as it’s quickly become my fav. Unfortunately it was extremely underwhelming and the flavours were just not the same in this pad Thai as my last. I do not like tofu, and always ask for extra veg and they did not do that for me (unlike the college st location that did). I’m not sure why they’re not consistent with one another but I won’t be going back to this location. I barely even ate the entire dish. 3 stars because it’s not the worst, it’s just not what I expected after such an amazing meal from this restaurant at their other location.
I put 5 stars for atmosphere and all because i wanted full 5 stars if your ordering based on quality and value which is 90 percent of customers these days with eating out and apps and all this place is 5 stars. You get alot of food and average dinner is like 13 bucks with tax and its very very good. Their small poutine for like 7 bucks is heavy as hell. He does everything very well trust me. Green curry is amazing. Check em out. Its for takeout primarily but they have basic seating.
Not good at all. Thai Basil Tofu and Pad Thai were not at all worth the price
I ordered pad thai and it was literally trash NEVER order anything from here Food
Pad thai looked very brown with weird lemony sour somewhat bitter taste. Would not order take out again
Unhygiene . Wait near the cashier .Look around . And the way they make it . Super gross.
To say I was disappointed with the food, is an understatement. #First&Last
a bald guy who working in the kitchen disrespect customers and time waste to pick up online orders.
Worst place ever
Phenomenal food. I get the golden curry chicken and pad Thai with chicken multiple times a week!
The quality and taste of the food was very poor. The chopsticks smelt of kerosene and the food appeared stale in just an hour.
Wow! Wow ! Coconut rice actually taste like coconut. Padthai was so good, green curry too!!
Great!
I saw bad reviews so thought it was risky but they have great portions, fresh food and good flavor - I m vegan so was happy with vegan options and the prices aren t too crazy - good place for takeout not dining in! I was happy !!
Ordered through uber eats. Coconut mango sticky rice was very good and a very generous portion, too. Not overly sweet, fresh, and filling. My compliments to the chef/s. I was not too happy with the four overpriced packaged brownie bites since I was expecting to receive a fresh dessert brownie. I was offered a partial refund IF I agreed to leave a five star review, which I obviously declined I originally rated lower but in fairness this is more accurate. I m sure people are just doing their best, and the staff member that answered the phone was very courteous and apologetic.
Agree with all the reviews. Dont order from uber eat, bogo basically not bogo, need to spend 15$ per portion. Not including delivery and tips. the bogo price not including the protein(meat or vege) need to add more $$ for toping. I couldnt tract the delivery, seems odd. The foods are not authentic.
Poor customer service
Urban Thai is great for when you re under the influence or in need of hangover food. Who wouldn t want greasy noodles and rice then? I wouldn t necessarily buy this as a fancy date night takeout dinner because of the heavy use of oil it s guilty pleasure food through and through. They have seemingly great 241 deals on Uber Eats however it s incredibly misleading. For instance, you get the noodle dish Pad See Ew which is $16 but then you have to add your protein or vegetable which costs an additional $8 at least. That would take your meal to $24 due to the sketchy hidden fees of adding vegetables for $8. I doubt anyone would buy $24 worth of noodles because it s not an upscale eatery. This is why they do the 241 option meaning each dish ends up being $12. It s not so much a 241 deal as it is an incredibly high starting cost for one meal that happens to balance out in the end. Definitely a marketing ploy I m not impressed with. The conclusion to this lengthy review is that it s only worth buying the 241 deals considering the quality and especially if you re only getting takeout.
Vegetarian options:
Green curry
Always a great deal running. To-go orders come out quickly and are packed well, surviving a 30 min walk home. Never been disappointed.
Amazing food, stir fry sauce is the best
Pad Thai is flavorful.
Best Thai food in the city. Super underrated because they re obscure and it s a small place, but lemme tell you in the almost 10 years I ve been going, they ve never had an off day . Go to this place if you enjoy flavourful, fresh Thai food. Malay curry chicken or seafood (or chicken) pad see ew you re welcome
Not real Thai food.
I was receiving a food from them for Uber Eats Delivery and to be honest there service is too worst. They told me to wait 3 minutes and they made me wait more than 15 minutes. And no response from . To unprofessional staff I must say.
They DO NOT honour Uber eats 2 for 1 promotion. Last time for me.
Horrible delivery (Uber Eats). AVOID!!
Great Pad Thai, the other food maybe not so much lol.
I ve ordered hot and sour soup. It s really delicious the vegetables were cooked nice. Server is too polite and friendly.
Green curry was simply amazing! Thai rolls were not so good and over priced.
Things have changed still good take out..
Never one time, always late. If they tell you 15 minutes to pickup, it means 30-40 instead.
yes, its a delivery food factory with a maybe unrealistically vast menu (chicken wings?) but we are slowly fine tuning our prefered vegetarian dishes. green curry - fabulous. ditto the soups. really like the eggplant. pad thai? less.so but well just skip that next time. sauteed spinach was so-so so find your favourites and stick to them. oh and FYI there is apparently a discount if you pickup. Ill remember to ask for that next time.
ordered a very simple order,
Ordered a pineapple fried rice mild and came out spicy also had no tofu could barely eat my food im quit mad about this, my mouth is numb Im actually very mad and I cant really return it either. They should have a non spice option since mild seems very spicy. I had to give it away and it seem like a waste of money to me if I cant even eat it. Very very upset with this
Ordered 2 for 1 pad see yew on Uber eats. VERY SMALL portions. I could have fit both orders into a single container. It tasted fine but really disappointing and definitely not worth the price. Won t order again.
Ordered vegan pad Thai and it had eggs in it. I ordered pick up and went when the app said it was ready, they hadn t even started making my food.
The food itself is okay but I dont think they should be part of Uber eats. They had someone texting me from a random number but no updates on Uber eats about where the food was which was odd. Uber eats is useless in itself but regardless it just took a lot longer than expected on the app.
Great food recommend phad Thai
Urban thai is fantastic.
Genuinely some of the best Basil Tofu Ive ever had. Amazing stuff. Great value as well!
Great food and fast service.
We ordered on Uber Eats. Called to confirm ordered and ensured allergies were attended too - they confidently said it was okay no problem. We were sitting outside waiting for our order because it was a beautiful day. No one stoped near our place. One hour, two hours go by. I call to ask if it s coming no answer. We wait then Uber eats days it was already delivered. We called as Uber was saying the food was delivered and we were charged, and they said it the driver left. They said no problem it s coming now. 30 mins go by, nothing. We call again and nothing. It s be 2 hours and still nothing. Our phone is from out of the country and spent like $30 trying to just call them to get our food as we were charged. What a waist of time, stress, and effort. Now have to go and try and reverse charges with Uber
I understand delays, but what I do not understand why a restaurant would promise your delivery was mere minutes away, three times over 90 minutes. Why not just be honest with a customer? Deceptive delivery times are a nasty business practice; one can only begin how such dishonesty influences the quality of the food, which I am only now taking from the restaurant Uber to avoid racoons messing up my front porch. Disgusting stuff: you would be wise to avoid.
Do not get delivery from here. I was two minutes away by car and the order took more than 50 mins to arrive. I would have walked there and ordered in person if I knew it would take that long. Update: The staff who finally delivered the food personally at 1:15am was extremely kind. The food was good as well. However when I ordered, I was assured that I would receive my order in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, I was told it would be another 15 minutes. After another 15, I was told it would be another 2 minutes. I waited yet another 15 minutes before I received it, totally 1 hour. If I was told it would be an hour to deliver from the start, I would absolutely understand. My issue is with the repeated broken promise. My feedback would be to be realistic about the delivery time and keep your word. Trust is easy to degrade and difficult to build back.
Worst restaurant ever. Its now called Poutine Delight Express, they deliver food super late, they dont care about clients safety and hygiene doesnt seem to be the best one. Not recommended at all. Please dont ever go
Food was okay but the staff is extremely rude. I ordered a delivery through UberEats and called in the restaurant to make sure they make a vegan dish as Im allergic to certain items. The staff on call was rude to respond back and I quote on what was told to me: Do not call for such concerns, just add a note when placing an order or if youre not sure dont place an order.
The delivery is terrible. They seem to use their own delivery guy and it takes forever to receive your food. To top it off, the delivery guy is very unprofessional. Makes me want to not order for them.
Never a disappointment ordering from them. They are always quick and easy with communication and their food is also amazing! Catering is so easy and smooth as well as their delivery. Recommend for office events!
Bland food! Won t recommend.
I used to never be a fan of Thai food but honestly speaking, this restaurant has made me keep an open mind going forward. Amazing fried rice and noodles. The seafood options are definitely worth it. Perfect spice level if you like that as well.
Was literally just there and got the walk in special so my very picky girlfriend could try Thai for the first time.. 2 stir-fry rice for $23.15 after tax.. Was unbelievably good.. and theyve made my life a lot easier now that she can claim she loves Thai food.. Will be back soon and thanks..!!!
Best ever Thai restaurant in and around Downtown Toronto. The chef has magic in his hands. My every weekend food order is from here. Food : 5/5
I wish there was a button for downvote Didnt check the reviews first As everyone mentioned Food takes ages to come, your kid might finish college before the soggy food reaches at your doorstep
My absolute favourite take out in the city! The most friendly and personable service. The green curry, the thai basil tofu, and the fresh rolls are to die for. They re also super accommodating of any dietary restrictions (I m vegan and they always remember and remember my name). Vegetarian options: So many veggie and vegan options and they will accommodate you if you ask! Dietary restrictions: Always accommodating of me being vegan Parking: Street parking right out front! Always a spot! Kid-friendliness: Family run, super friendly business!
We get the Thai Basil Beef and Thai Basil Tofu here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. They always taste great and the portions are a fair size. Also love that they stay open late and are always friendly.
I really liked their chicken fried rice.
My girlfriend and I order take out here at least once a week. The staff is very friendly and the food is always ready in 15-20 minutes. We tried so many items on the menu and were never disappointed! Oodles of noodles, rice, vegetable chicken, garlic shrimp, roti, and the coconut milkshake are our favourite items. We eat pretty late so we can always count on this restaurant to satisfy our hunger no matter what time it is. Fresh and hot every time.
Worst food sport ever, I wish I could give them negative ratings. Never ordering food from this restaurant again.
Got take out 2 for 1 pad see ew. This was not pad see ew, which usually has more soy or a darker colour. This tasted like chicken syrup was poured on it. The noodles were mush. Very disappointing. Won t be ordering from them again.
This place is amazing! One of the only good Thai restaurants in the city. My grandmother is an extremely picky vegetarian and she absolutely loves the Avocado-Peanut Vegetable stir fry. Also, their coconut rice is to die for! Worth the extra $3.99, trust me! Everytime we get together with family we always order from Urban Thai and we are never disappointed. I would highly recommend the Beef Devil but really everything on the menu is delicious. The portion sizes are large and definitely enough food for 2 meals. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting Thai food.
Delicious! One of the best. Thai with a bit of a rustic twist. Good portions as well! The veggie combo for 2 is good value as well as the chicken curries. They come with plenty of mixed veggies which is also nice!
One of my favourite restraunts, chicken fried rice is amazing. the flavors come out so well everytime i eat ut at my workplace my colleagues go mad behind the aroma
Ordered in a few times. Really good! Great value
Ordered from here expecting to get pad thai. After 2+ hours they never showed up and just took my money. Mind you, this whole time Im requesting for updates and calling the restaurant. They did not answer 5+ calls even after taking my money. For this reason, I do NOT recommend you order from here. Terrible experience and customer service.
Terrible food. They charge at least $5 for meat, but it is so overcooked it isnt even worth a cent. Save your money and go elsewhere
Overpriced and lfavourless
Best hot and sour soup
Green curry with the coconut rice was incredible!!! Will be ordering again!!!
Great taste of Thai Food
Maybe the worst pad Thai Ive ever had
I ordered their green curry chicken poutine and beef salad. Both were amazing will definitely be a repeat customer from now on. Parliament St location
Malay curry sauce very good but added beef was cardboard chewy. Island chicken not that interesting / overcoated and cooked and Urban salad was basically chopped iceberg lettuce with fried tofu. Disappointing.
I understand that accidents happen and we cant be at 100% all the time. What I do have a problem is when people dont take responsibility for their actions. When a customer tells you that they opened up their food and found strands of hair in their food please dont pin it on the customer. Also when you make it sound like their concern is of no issue or that a situation like this is a normal thing, I have a problem with that. Please go back to cooking school.
Tasty food and good phone service. Had 3 vegan items - green curry, street fried rice, and spicy noodles, and all were good. Will be going back!
The coconut mango chicken is delicious as well as the spring rolls. Great service and quick delivery.
Love the food devil chicken , fried rice
Dont do it! 2 prawns, no utensils, delivery 30 minutes later than expected by a chimp who turned it upside down on the way. Pai is best!
Awesome service and the price was fair for 40 two have a wonderful meal with 2 cheese cakes.......... Awesome place
the chicken and tofu pad thai was so good! massive portion, i had the other half for lunch the next day. taking a star off because it took over an hour to get my food on uber eats but it was worth the wait
So far our experiences with Urban Thai have been good. Im a fan of their veg pad thai and the flavour balance. Its pretty darn close to a plate you would get in Phuket. Consitency is a bit of an issue. Dont know why but when we order on weekdays, the food seems to be a little tastier. The prices are great and the portions are hearty. Enjoy!
awesome little restraunt, i got pad thai and it was among one of the best tasting dish, one star less because it was bit more oily than the previous thai place i tried.
Best coconut rice!
I ordered twice here. Huge servings but I find poutine salty and saw them not wearing mask when I picked up my order.
They dont even care when customers come. No one looked at me despite I shoot over and over again. They do not hear. Worst customer care. I have never seen like that.
Unprofessional staff, disgusting and not clean place. They don t even deserve 1 star , I wish I gave them 0. Don t recommend it.
Fantabulous!!!! Very tasty Thai Food around Toronto. Friendly staff and huge servings. The ambiance inside is very natural. Dont have dine-in yet but they are really trying their very best to cater the needs and satisfaction of their customers. Went their few times to get daily specials and i am telling you, tehy never failed to make my food more tasty and tastier. Wonderful place to try authentic Thai restaurant. You rock Urban Thai!!!! Keep up.
Pad thai with beef was very dry with minimal vegetables. Ordered through uber eats. Not spicy at all. Wouldnt come back again unfortunately.
Had high expectations but the food fell completely flat. I had ordered 3 dishes on Uber Eats and the food took more than 1.5 hours to get delivered even though I live about 20 mins from the restaurant. Other than that, the food was greasy and lacked any flavour. The food was simply not worth the wait and I wouldn t recommend this restaurant. I would also like to add that reaching the restaurant was a challenge because they would not pick up the phone and so I wasn t getting any updates on the order status. It s just inconvenient and really takes away from the costumer service experience and food as whole.
I don t understand what they think themselves. Really disappointed with food and customer service as well
Horrible food. do not order from here. It is inedible
Ordered pad thai for lunch today and it was not good. Essentially tasteless with a ketchup like sauce. Also ordered fresh rolls, they were mediocre at best. Will not be returning and do not recommend.
Awful business practice... My partner and I can only eat from places that are purely vegetarian or vegan, not anywhere that serves non veg. On Uber they have three separate listings and one is called Urban Vegan and Vegetarian. Obviously this just sounds like a name of a restaurant so I assumed, especially with such a large menu, that they only serve vegetarian/vegan. Unfortunately this is not the case as I discovered when I called to ask for a reccomendation and they started talking about chicken and beef. I informed them that its honestly not okay to manipulate people like this, you can just make one listing on Uber and have a section for that kind of food, but dont make it seem as if its all you serve? The guy on the phone just paused for a while and said okay. So they clearly dont really care. I wouldve at least appreciated an apology for the confusion... Not sure what their food is like but theyre just super rude to be honest. Hopefully they can just make one listing instead of confusing and manipulating people like us. Edit: Response from the owner makes this even worse. Not my business? It is very much my business and you should learn how to run yours. Thanks.
Great take out! It is our go to for Thai food. Have never dined in.
Was over an hour late delivering to me, and when they arrived refused to deliver to my door despite having it in a request on Uber eats. Never order from Here
Please DO NOT order from here. They have an account with Uber Eats but apparently handle their own delivery. They say that your deliver will come quickly and it has been over an hour and a half and still no food. No recourse because you cant reach Ubereats. When the food eventually arrived it was awful.
The food is very tasty and fresh. Excellent option always.
I had their pad see ew the other day. It was loaded with chicken and had a true wok taste i.e. wonderfully smoky. Love that they put lots of gai lan in it, too.
Wish I could 1 star this sh!!t place. I ordered food and it had roaches inside of it. When I took it back I was denied a refund and told that I was lying and you people always come and lie. Just hearing that the guy was extremely lucky that I didnt backhand him. Stay away from this place. Location 415 Parliment Street
Great restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff
Awesome thai food really tasty and quantity is superb
I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered delivery from here on Uber Eats. I was initially a little bit worried after reading the reviews. However the food was very good. The pad thai was delicious and the shrimp chips were good. I recommend ordering delivery from Urban Thai.
- Great guys - Great food - Great prices
The food was way too acidic and tasted disgusting... Never getting food here again
This is a wonderful little Thai place from which my partner and I routinely order delivery. We have never had a problem with an order, and thee food is delicious. Our favorite in the fried tofu appetizer, and we also love the pad thai and the spicy chicken devil. If you are looking for some weekend Thai delivery, Urban Thai is hard to beat.
Nm 1 thai food in Toronto
Made a delivery order with Beyond Menu, a few minutes later the order was confirmed by the restaurant, an hour later I call in to find out that they dont have delivery past 11pm and I try to convince the man on the phone to take my order but he insists that Beyond Menu has made a mistake. His mistake was not asking if I still wanted to order food.
Worst customer service and food, they sell food cheap but wont fulfill the order on time. I have given them the benefit of doubt and tried going there three times before righting this review. Avoid the terrible experience and save yourself the stress.
Definitely not coming back here. I received such rude behavior from a staff member after complaining about a 25 minutes delay on my order. You need to learn how to deal with a customer after your inability of fulfilling an order on time.
Avoid this place at ALL COSTS! I ordered the red curry beef and it was so bland and grey looking that it looked and tasted like chicken...YUK!!!! I went back to speak to the cook and he just brushed it off. Honestly, there are much better Thai places in Parliament/Cabbagetown and I paid for the mistake of not looking closely at where I was ordering from.
Expensive pad thai i think they over charged me i asked for spicy and it was insanely spicy. watch when you pay and ask for the price
Generous portions and quick take-out service as well as Uber Eats, Door Dash etc. Recommend the daily specials which make for a filling and delicious meal at 11-12 bucks. Enjoy!
Best padthai in Toronto.
Theyre quick to fill orders and open very late, so we can have Thai food at all hours. Service is great. Not a dine in place though.
Not sure what s up with the negative reviews... this place is awesome! The thing to get is the Beef Devil - there s nothing like it anywhere else! Pad thai is good as well. One time it was a little drier than usual but overall this is a great spot, and they have generous portions.
Always yummy for a good price
Noodles were way over cooked. The beef was good though. Overall, not worth the $15
This phad Thai taste like ketchup and is the only regret I have today.
Ketchup pad Thai. Won t be back
Nayinte mone server
Really good
Toronto has better Thai restaurants.
The pad thai wasnt bad, it was pretty flavourful but it lacked in sauce a little. Overall not bad for the price. The spring rolls on the other hand were awesome!
Great phone service and prompt delivery. Hot sauce wasnt on the side like we asked for and no spoon for our soup. Soup was watered down, lacked flavor. Sorry I dont think Ill order the soup again. Pad Thai was good
This is my first ever restaurant review. Personally I never feel like I have to leave one even if the food is subpar. However, my experience with Urban Thai changed this point of view. I never knew that it was customary in Canada to serve poutine in a bath of ketchup but I learned something new today. I also figured that they used the leftovers of that aforementioned ketchup bottle on the pad thai that I ordered. To be honest I was a little perplexed. So personally I dont think that I would reccomend Urban Thai to my worst enemy even on a bad day.
This is an awful restorant I don t recommend it. The owner and the employees try to confuse you to charge you more it s like a Robery. Specially my self I won t go to that restorant in my life. I recommend not going there and the food wasn t that good, to salty for me. I give them two thumbs down.
Place to live with the best friends!!!
The decor and completely empty store did not give us much hope for the food but the smiling waiter and chef delivered! Top marks for the avocado and peanut dish. I subbed my tofu for beef and couldn t eat enough! Will be back.
Best place for thai food
Read some of the reviews after ordering from ritual and felt the need to bump this restaurant review up :) good pad Thai when you re looking for a late meal. Restaurant interior isn t anything special but food was great!
Went there by fluke. We were the only customers in the store and we only ordered a poutine, since we wanted a quick bite. While the poutine was just fine it took 20+ mins to get the simplest meal, with no other patrons. Will not be returning.
Truly the worst Thai food I have ever had to endure. Go literally anywhere else.
Horrible food and customer service. Urban Thai served my friend and I rotten chicken and soggy tofu which was supposed to be crispy. Dont bother getting the shrimp rice the cheapskates only put 3 pieces of shrimp in every order. My poor friend was throwing up from the chicken while I was on the phone with Jay from Urban Thai, calmly explaining the order mishap - Jay was not apologetic and simply dismissed our issue and lied to me about when they closed and potenially receiving a discount next time. Jay was very argumentative and did not attempt to resolve our order issue. We went from giving this place in our area multiple chances - to finally giving up on them. Money and time wasted and now we are so sick from the food theres a good chance neither of us are going to work tomorrow. Do not trust Urban Thai on Parliament.
Food quality average.. not too welcoming staff.
best thai food in Toronto
Slow chef
Average food, extremely long waiting for the food, place does not seem clean either.
THE WORST PAD THAI EVER! OMG it tastes like ketchup! Way too sour! They are very cheap on ingredients. There are so many better Thai places out there. Please pass this restaurant. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.
Ordered takeout on April 15th, extremely slow service...food took over an hour to arrive, approx. 1.5hrs. The food was soggy, tasteless and the meat dishes barely had any meat (ordered thai basil beef, basil chicken and ginger beef) Horrible and would not waste my money here again.
As cliche as it seems this place is not worthy of 1 star. I gave this place a chance due to the proximity to work, but on more than one occasion I would place mt order over the phone and arrive to hear that my order was taken. The straw that will have me never going back was what I witnessed in broad daylight on Parliament St. I witnessed the delivery man come from his car and walk into the kitchen to fetch a large butcher knife. He then proceeded to take the knife to his car on Parliament and use it to pry off his hubcap from his car. After achieving his goal he promptly returned into the restaurant and placed the unwashed knife back on the shelf with the rest of the knives. On second thoughts Ill give them 1 star because had it not been for then visible open kitchen I might have still been eating at this place!!
Their pad thai tastes like overused ketchup.
Not worthy of one star. Food came an hour late, temped to 113f (Thats colder than most commercial kitchens) and had all requests ignored.
Ordered at 1:21AM via Just-Eat and the order has not arrived yet. It is now 3:13AM. These guys make good food, but have absolutely atrocious scheduling. Another night, we were outright denied from ordering before closing.
Bought the most expensive garbage from here.
Very good food
Good food
I enjoyed our evening there and the food was great. They said they had fried banana and ice cream which turned out to be just a peeled banana with ice cream...weird I also have been fooled twice, once by the app and the other by google saying the restuarant is open until 3 AM and both times closed. What s up with that?
Ordered off Just Eat at 1:50am. Kitchen was open until 3. Order was supposed to arrive at 3:05. No food came, the restaurant never picked up my calls. When I ask them about it the following morning the person on the phone was unprofessional and uninterested in the fact that I stayed up until 4am trying to figure out whether the food was even coming or not.
Just like their other location on College this restaurant has abysmal customer service. Food rarely is delivered on time, and is not good enough to put up with that as well as the costs of their dishes. Avoid the disappointment and order from a restaurant that doesnt accept too many orders to process within a reasonable time.
Amazing food, portions are good for the price and its stays open late. Overall great restaurant.
I had the urban pad thai (shrimp and chicken) It was not that good. Too saucy and tasted like ketchup. I could not push myself to eat half the dish. It will be my first and last time going.
Its kinda small and well, its good food but the decor and ambiance was not the best
