18 Yorkville Ave #1, Toronto, ON M4W 3Y8, Canada
French Country themed decor, authentic crepes and many other house made offerings including soups, salads, omelettes, and gourmet sandwiches. World famous Trucillo espresso coffee and specialty teas from around the globe. Perfect cozy venue in Toronto's iconic Yorkville Village.
I had a great brunch with my friend on Sunday at the yorkville crepes. The location is close to bloor or bay station. We ordered st.laurent crepes and chicken bagel with latte. The food was great although they did not have much selection of bagel (they only had sesame). Because they were busy with few staffs, we did not even get water and it was hard to get their attention even though the restaurant is small. The ambience of the restaurant was clean and pretty. I will for sure go back to try other menu! If you are looking for a casual date or bruch, you should check out this place!
Small boutique crepe shop. Great food! Nutella crepe always a safe choice. Also tried La Canadienne - Black Forest ham, egg, Brie cheese and maple syrup. Spectacular!!
Overall score: 2/5 My time here was nice initially, as the aesthetic itself is very beautiful. Whoever was in charge of the interior design should truly be credited in their work, however, everything else was very … subpar? It’s not very special nor was it an experience I’d want to have again as the staff not only were rude in their service but the food itself was not up to par with how much my group had to pay. I would understand justifying paying the price for decent quality, but I should’ve known I wouldn’t have a good experience the minute I saw a nearly 6 dollar London fog with a cheap brand of tea instead of even investing just a little bit more, leading to my drink not only being very bitter, but also lacking any sort of selection of sweetener (as none had been offered to my table). The meal I had ordered was 14.95… for two crepes and a minor amount of Brie and an overly excessive amount of raspberry jam I almost felt as I had been cheated in what I ordered, of course I was would understand if this was just a personal preference, but my guests had also agreed that the amount of food for the price had been extremely unreasonable. At the end of the meal, as I had paid nearly 21 dollars for one meal and a half way decent drink, the waitress had told us that we had to pay an 18% gratuity. The establishment is TINY, hardly enough to fit more than 15 people and I would completely understand if they had disclosed the fact that we had to pay gratuity before we had started our meal, but when we asked where it was stated on the menu, the waitress almost acted offended that aside from us PUTTING MONEY IN HER POCKET that we had the nerve to ask her to DO HER JOB. Truly either hire staff that don’t shame customers for asking about store policies or make it more explicit that certain seating arrangements would cost more, as for a group of 4, we never had been informed we would have to tip the waitress who had scoffed at the idea of communicating with her tables. Again if you’re going for the sole reason of going alone and burning money, sure this is a decent place to do so, but if you want an experience that’s worth your time don’t come to this establishment when Tim Hortons is right next to it with an arguably better London fog.
Pretty place inside but unfortunately the crepe was not tender at all. I had to keep chewing it as if it was paper. By itself it wasn’t flavorful at all. Over cooked as well. Owners need to revisit their batter.
This place is definitely a hidden gem in downtown Toronto. I came here as I was leaving the Reference Library and was craving savoury crepes. The location itself is a bit tucked away at the corner of Yonge and Yorkville, with about only 6 tables and room for 12 guests comfortably. I came here around 3pm on a Friday and I was seated right away. As for food, I ate their salade maison and parisienne savoury crepe. The salad was the right amount of sweet and savoury as it had arugula, mixed greens, onions, apple slices, pecans, cranberries, goat cheese and cider vinaigrette. As for the crepe, it had scrambled egg, swiss cheese, my mushrooms, red onions and dill. This pairing was absolutely delightful.
Highly recommend Yorkville Crepes! I have been a long-time, devoted customer of Yorkville Crepes for over a decade, and this place is a real gem. This family-run restaurant specializes in unique and tasty crepes and has an extensive breakfast/lunch menu. I love coming here because the owners care deeply and treat us like family. The crepes are always delicious, and my sons’ personal favourites are The Popeye with scrambled egg, mozzarella, baby spinach, and the Nutella and strawberries dessert crepes, but really, you can’t go wrong with any choice! Also, don’t miss the kale salad, a delicious medley of kale, brussel sprouts, apples, almonds, cranberries, and parmesan with a lemon dijon dressing. One of the most charming aspects of Yorkville Crepes is its ambiance. The cozy, welcoming staff and owners have just enough space for about 20 guests, making it a perfect little place. Note, this is not a fast-food joint, so be a bit patient waiting for your freshly made-to-order crepes… it is SOOOOO worth it. When it's beautiful outside, we love taking our order to-go and eating in the charming little parkette next door, which has perfect little benches to eat on. Definitely check out their website for their menu and more photos.
We were craving crepes and stumbled on this place. It’s a tiny sit down spot, with wonderful service and delicious crepes. You can make reservations and I would recommend it since seating is limited. Don’t come in a rush, they make everything from scratch so it does take some time. If you have never eaten a crepe fresh off the frying pan, let me tell you it’s worth the extra time. We got a sweet and a savory crepe to share and they were both delicious. Will definitely be back here next time I’m in town
A small cute hole-in-the-wall place. The extra decorative pillows one on of the side tables were a little uncomfortable with our thick winter jackets, but still visually pleasing otherwise. I got the La Normande savory crepe and it was delicious! My only quip would be that their menu is a bit on the pricier side, but I would go again to treat myself.
Excellent food and service.
get the julia so so yum
crepes are so julia! Vegetarian options: amazing vegetarian options! Food : 5/5 |
Adorable place. Perfect breakfast spot. Crepes were 10/10 & friendly service. Definitely recommend!!
The Julia crepes were so great and the ladies who run the establishment are fantastic!
Chill spot and delicious crepes. Friendly service. Will return
We enjoyed the crepes amazingly so. Excellent food. Pleasant cozy place, fine service! Food
Amazing crepes. Good variety of vegetarian options Vegetarian options: Multiple options Food : 5/5 |
Thank you Vanessa,Carie & Maria. The best crepes we ever had. Fantastic service and crepes!
Nice crepes
Very tasty brie cheese and raspberry jam crepe. Carrie was very kind and told me what to see in the city.
A gem in the middle of Yorkville, quiet enough to have a conversation - and the most delicious kale salad Ive ever tasted. Reasonable prices, especially for the area. My friend found the crepes delicious, too. Excellent cappuccino! We will definitely return.
Will come back
everything was PERFECT
Next time Im in Toronto Ill be going here again. Delicious, friendly staff and the place is so cute! I had the brie and raspberry jam crepe with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
The brunch spot straight from my dreams. The staff are really lovely and clearly very talented when it comes to crepes.
I am not typically one to make public reviews, but my experience here was too good not too. The service, food, and atmosphere are all top notch. I had their Canadian crêpe with the house salad (no onions) and a fruit smoothie as a late lunch. I was warmly welcomed and well attended to. Everything that I ordered was delicious with well-balanced flavours in each item. I also witnessed how the staff handled an order mix-up. Customer-centric, caring, and polite. I was very impressed. Quite the small location, but with a great atmosphere. Perfect for a nice daytime date. Looking forward to returning soon!
quaint and lovely space, friendly owners, delicious first take out!!! can t wait to dine in and try crepes
The crêpes were delicious. While it is a cozy place, I wish they had more seating space.
Lovely cosy place for breakfast and brunch highly recommended
Splitting savoury and sweet crepes with wonderful company in a wonderful location - what more can one ask for? The savoury crepe was the perfect balance of flavours and fillings, it was light, delicious, and so satisfying. The sweet crepe was simply perfect. I will definitely be coming back
imagine this: it s brunch time. you and your bestie are at Yorkville Crepes wearing long summer dresses surrounded by warm lights and quaint rich-aunty decor. even the patrons seated inside are kind. you carefully study the menu options and select the ideal combination of savoury and sweet crepes. it all makes for the perfectly balanced brunch. they split each crepe so you don t have to. why should you? you re here to relax and they re here to show you a good time. the first has scrambled egg, goat cheese, smoked salmon, dill, and tomato. it s delicious and satisfying but not too heavy. then you move onto the delicate lemon sugar crepe (with whipped cream obviously). it s light, sweet, and complements the savoury so well. the vibes were so cozy that it felt like I myself was softly rolled into a warm, sweet crepe. will I ever feel this much peace again? I don t know.
Pleasant little place for a quick bite and meet. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance but limited seating area. Food : 4/5 |
Fantastic staff and great food! Looking forward to coming here again!
I deeply appreciated my experience at this location! I had the saint germain and I have to say it was the best crepe I ve had in my entire life - having had a crepe here will leave you incredibly satisfied! The vibes are also lovely I appreciate the aesthetics involved! Definitely coming back for more!!
Love this creperie! Took the family here to meet with old friends and we had a lovely morning catch up. The maple syrup and brie crepe was absolutely great. Also the cheddar omelette that my family ordered.
Cozy atmosphere with amazing staff. Food was good. I felt the Crepes were a bit tough to slice through but tasted delicious.
The crepes are generally good. But the women who run this place ruin it. The service is always slow. Like REALLY slow. Waited 12 mins for a glass of water - there were 3 staff and 7 total customers. The people who work there spend the whole time loudly gossiping. Used to come for the crepes but now it s unbearable.
We were just in Paris and this place has better crepes than any we had in Paris hands down!
The food, the service, the place, everything was perfect and beyond what we were expecting. A MUST !!
Total waste of money for the food but but the staff are nice and so is the atmosphere. I had the worst crepe ever!! The crepe were heavy, too doughy. The crepe was undercooked and there was not much Nutella chocolate on the crepe. So they are cheap on that. So dont waste your time and money if you want good food. As a result of my experience I will never eat here again and say as much to anyone who who suggests going here.
I wholeheartedly love this place and everyone there. It has become a part of my daily life. Amazing service and everyone there is like family. The food is insane, the coffee even better and the family who run the place will literally go above and beyond for you!!
Brought my mom for brunch. Fantastic service, fantastic food.
WOW! What a great spot to have a light but filling start to the day, ok our day started at 10 am!! Highly recommended stop for great food and delightful staff, who were more than willing to help in anyway they could. Although only here in Toronto for a few days, we will be back to try some dessert crepes.
Atmosphere is really cute. I had crepes, and to be fair, they were extremely dry, its not to my taste at all. I think its a bit pricey as well.
The worst crepe Ive eaten... such bad service! She asked me three times to make sure of my order, and it was only a crepe with strawberries!
My wife and I absolutely love to dine in here! The staff are always kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious. They have a variety of fun and tasty crepes, and great drink options.
Cozy and inviting cafe. Love the food as it is freshly made. Better to come early in the day, it gets busy in the evening.
The crepes are very overpriced for what you get. Service was almost non-existent.
The decoration and atmosphere are beautiful but the crepes are a bit too tough and have a bit too much filling to eat them outside on the road. Better to order and stay in.
Best crepes in town! The place is really nice and cozy, the food is delicious and the staff is really welcoming and friendly
It is a cute store, however the prices were high for not a lot of food and the crepes themselves didn t taste that great. The fruit inside was mushy and didn t taste fresh. The service was also pretty slow and all of my family s orders didn t come out at once even though we were only three people. By the time my third family member s food came, the rest of the table was done.
Cutest little spot in downtown Toronto! Crepes were delicious & so many amazing options to pick from! When we are back in town we will definitely be back!
It was closed during working hours!
We ordered a coffee and a tea. They brought the coffee and it tasted like burnt coffee. The tea was just a teabag without a little plate to out the teabag in. No cookies or candy on the side. The whole time there was a smell of onions and garlic in the cafe and the cook who had ling hair was not wearing any hats or nets. Overall, looks fancy but bad quality!
Cute little quick breakfast place! Cozy atmosphere. Would recommend!
Super cute space. Very friendly staff. Good food and good coffee
Always an amazing experience here. Owner and staff are all so sweet and helpful! Best crepes I ve had in Toronto
It was sooooooooo good it was the BEST Crepe EVER (from omar The guy that likes crepes) Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to us!
Very nice Owners are family food was good.
It is expensive for what you get. We ordered a sweet crepe but it was dry and a bit hard. Also there wasnt much filing (we had strawberries and dulce de leche, and the strawberries made it watery). The atmosphere was cute and the server was very nice. Food
I wanted to check this out however the hours aren t conducive to someone working 9-5. Also, the website menu is not loading. It appears to be an upload issue which should be changed for future.
Many ingredients were not available and crepe was hard, didn t feel like fresh. The place is cute and the server was kind. Food
Best Crepe ever! And cozy ambience, I was surrounded by Happy ladies with joyful chatter. Had a really great moment in time.
Always a tasty meal and the ladies are also a great team managing everything all at once all the time.
The servers are warm and friendly, and they remember their regular customers, which I really appreciate! I personally love the Cote dAzur crepe, which has goat cheese, tomato, and basil. Overall a great Sunday morning ritual :)
Such a cute shop with high quality crepes. Everything on the menu looks delicious and the staff is so friendly
My fave crepe place in toronto! The shop is small but intimate and very well priced considering the neighborhood and quality. Since theyre so small sometimes it may take a while to get your order but wells worth the wait each time!
Delicious crepes when made fresh and/or delivered within a reasonable time frame. But whether you re ordering online or in person, the service and wait times are ridiculous. Waited over an hour and a half the other day for our delivery order which was supposed to take 30 mins or less according to the app, with no update on how long it would be to get our food from the restaurant until we called ourselves close to an hour past ordering in which we were told that they were only making our crepes then. Then went in person today, thinking it would be better. But again waited quite a bit and realized how disorganized it was dining in. I understand that this is a small business, but your service needs some significant improvements in terms of speed, quality and consistency, or at least there needs to be more transparency about wait times as this has been a consistent issue for us, but also many others by the looks of it. Won t be back here again, nor will we be ordering from here again. Hope to hear that there are improvements regardless.
Delicious crêpes!
It was love at first sight (and first bite) when I discovered this hidden gem! The amount of love and attention put into the food and the ambiance makes you want to just sit there all day, every day. The service was superb; they make you feel so welcome and comfy while you enjoy the most delicious crepes (with so many options!). The Sylvie crepe was incredible. I will definitely be going back again (and again and again)!
By far the highest quality crepes in the city of Toronto. Have lived here for years and nothing beats the Saint Martin. Highly recommend. It can get very busy and sometimes take sometime to get food. Its high quality and takes time to prepare, I recommend calling ahead of time to ask them to reserve a seat and prepare anything in advance.
Loved it here and excited to come back! The food is great and the service even better!
I had the Carnival crepe, it was so yummy and the service was great! You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the customer s experience. Definitely a new go to for me and my friends :)
I got the Carnival crepe and it was delicious! My dietary needs were met and I felt very safe with a peanut allergy. The service was super amazing and efficient! I would 100% recommend
Located in the heart of the city, this charming eatery offers an unforgettable dining experience with its impeccable crepes. Each bite bursts with flavor, making it a delightful treat for the taste buds. The menu selection is diverse, catering to all preferences, ensuring theres something for everyone to enjoy. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Overall, dining here is a culinary journey filled with warmth, flavor, and authenticity.
Delicious Crepes, beautiful ambiance & staff it is my number 1 crepes place in toronto. I luv it Food : 5/5
Exactly French style.
Crepes were great! Disappointed that they weren t all consistent. Mine was soft while my friends was crispy. Tastes good still! Great service and atmosphere!
Great spot!
We had dessert at this cafe and our experience was very good, both the food and the service of the guy who served us was good, we will definitely come back
nice and cozy ambiance with amazing food, I had the Kale salad with the thin apple slices on top and it was wonderful, planning to be back asap
Nestled in the heart of the city, this creperie is a delightful haven for crepe enthusiasts. The menu boasts a diverse array of savory and sweet crepes, each meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff elevate the dining experience, making it a perfect spot for a casual brunch or a sweet indulgence. Whether youre a fan of classic combinations or adventurous flavors, this charming creperie is sure to satisfy your cravings.
The restaurant where the food is delicious and its 10/10 is in a great location and the service is excellent, the best are the crepes and customer service.
Such a wonderful place to eat crêpes ! The vibe reminds me some café in Paris, where I come from. And the staff was very friendly :) Can t wait to be back!
this cozy creperie in Toronto offers a delightful selection of both sweet and savory crepes. The standout feature? The warm welcome from the friendly barista, Ceseu. With his attentive service and genuine smile, he elevates the dining experience. Whether youre in the mood for a classic crepe or something more adventurous, this spot delivers delicious flavors and excellent hospitality.
A hidden gem! I went with a friend to try the crêpes and they were delicious. Our waiter, Ceseu, was a lovely person and very attentive. I recommend it 100%!
Had a great experience eating here for breakfast. Food was great. Coffee was great. Service was great.
Young lady running the cafe was very genuine and really tries her best. Appreciated the service.
Amazing place with amazing food and staff. Thank you so much!!
Food was good. I got the Canadian, with cheese, bacon and maple syrup. My crape was soft and nice but my friends crape was a littttle bit chewy. They just a small place but they have a nice atmosphere. Overall, its nice place to try.
Great food and service. Atmosphere is classic and amazing!
Wonderful esthetic and gourmet experience in Toronto! Feels like I m in France service is wonderful, food is amazing! It s quite popular, so reservation is recommended!
I had a lovely experience here to start the new year. My friend and I went for some crepes right as they opened, and the space filled up quickly as it is a small space. The young blonde lady doing all the cooking/serving was super nice, welcoming and friendly. I appreciate her attentive and excellent service even though it was quite busy! The crepes were delicious (La Canadienne and Parisienne, both great choices) and the tea served in good-sized mugs Nice, cozy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again. Happy new year!
Food was wonderful! Quaint vibe and would recommend!
A Morning Delight at Yorkville Crepes with the Saint Germain Breakfast Crepe and Exceptional Service by Carrie As a dedicated food enthusiast, my recent visit to Yorkville Crepes in Toronto left me with a delightful experience that I cant help but share. Opting for the Saint Germain Crepe for breakfast, accompanied by the impeccable service provided by Carrie, this visit was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into Yorkville Crepes, the cozy ambiance and the inviting aroma of freshly made crepes set the stage for what turned out to be a memorable breakfast. The menu boasted an array of tempting options, but the Saint Germain Crepe caught my attention a choice I certainly didnt regret. The Saint Germain Crepe was a culinary masterpiece. Filled with a harmonious blend of ham, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and a perfectly cracked egg, every bite was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The crepe itself was a testament to the chefs skill light, golden-brown, and flawlessly executed. It was evident that the ingredients were of high quality, and their freshness elevated the entire dining experience. What truly elevated my visit was the outstanding service provided by Carrie. Her attentiveness, genuine friendliness, and knowledge of the menu added an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere. Carries recommendations, including the Saint Germain Crepe, showcased her understanding of the menu and her commitment to ensuring customers have a memorable dining experience. Carries professionalism extended beyond just taking orders; she engaged in friendly conversation, making the entire meal feel like a personalized experience. Her timing was impeccable the dishes arrived promptly, and she ensured that I had everything I needed throughout the meal. Carries dedication to providing excellent service undoubtedly contributed to the overall positive impression I had of Yorkville Crepes. In addition to the culinary delights and top-notch service, the ambiance of Yorkville Crepes added to the overall charm. The decor was tasteful, creating a comfortable and inviting space. The open kitchen allowed diners to witness the artistry behind the crepe-making process, adding a touch of culinary theater to the dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Yorkville Crepes was an absolute delight. The Saint Germain Crepe for breakfast was a delectable choice, and Carries exceptional service further enhanced the overall experience. Whether youre a seasoned crepe connoisseur or a casual diner looking for a delightful meal, Yorkville Crepes is a must-visit destination. I left with a satisfied palate, a full stomach, and the intention to return for more culinary adventures at this charming Toronto establishment.
Great cupuchino! And great barista this blondie knows how to serve great coffee with a smile! Sorry didnt get your name.
Nice cozy and clean french style cafe here in Yorkville Ave in Toronto. Delicious Chocolate Almond Croissant, Omelettes and Latte. We enjoyed our choice and selection. The only note I can give is that I understand it is a small owned family cafe and when they get busy they will be delayed in their services, so you need to be patient sometimes.
Amazing place, amazing service, amazing crepes
Consistently delicious crepes, both sweet and savoury! Their lox & cream cheese bagel is pretty good too. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere
Crêpes too crispy.
Went here for a crepe and a cup of coffee. Loved everything. The music, the decor, the mugs, and the food was so yummy! She doesn t skimp on the cheese :)
The total wait was an hour. We first waited 20+ minutes to order. The waiter told me my order was going to take 20-25 minutes and suggested a quicker option, which I took. The quicker option ended up taking almost 30 minutes to arrive. One of our orders was a soup and salad. It was quite pricey, so we expected a decent portion. We were rather upset to see, after an hour of wait, the waiter carrying a tiny cup of salad and small bowl of soup towards our table. Was the food decent? Yes. Was it worth the hour wait? Absolutely not. Will we be visiting again? ..No. The intention of this review is to warn those who are interested in this restaurant about the wait time at a busy hour and the course portions. It is not intended as a hate review, but rather critical feedback.
Great atmosphere and the food is excellent with so many options. Would definitely recommend this place!
What a cute place! The decor was so cozy and chic. Staff was super friendly even though it was super busy for a holiday Monday brunch. Food was absolutely delicious. Come here for a girlfriend s day out, relaxing family brunch, date night, or simply want to enjoy some nice crepes with friends. I would definitely come back here again!! Thank you for the brunch so enjoyable.. :)
Really good latte, food took long to be served and crepes were too crispy. Service wasn t so great. We had to call the waiter a couple of times to be attended.
Good food pleasant experience.
Simply the best crepe in GTA! Its Impeccable !
We had amazing experience here. Crepe plus sovereign blanc:)
Delicious crepes! And wonderful service. Will definitely be back!
Bonjour! I ve got to enjoyed almost every item on the menu. Super delicious! Merci
Great concept and idea but not clean place. Stopped by for a pick up and witnessed That staff which were 1 lady were cleaving , serving , cooking and cashing out whiteout washing her hands
Yorkville Crepes, Located in the upscale neighbourhood of Yorkville, the place is a cozy, small restaurant that specializes in sweet and savory crepes. The restaurant is decorated with a simple yet modern interior, creating a comfortable atmosphere for its customers. One of the reasons for the popularity of Yorkville Crepes is its unique menu, which offers a wide variety of crepes, both sweet and savoury. From classic Nutella and banana crepes to more unusual combinations such as smoked salmon and goat cheese crepes, the restaurant caters to different tastes and preferences. The quality of the crepes is also highly appreciated by the customers, as they are freshly made and cooked to perfection. The crepes are thin and crispy on the outside, with a soft and fluffy texture on the inside, making them the perfect comfort food. In terms of customer service, Yorkville Crepes has received positive feedback for its friendly and attentive staff. The employees are knowledgeable about the menu and are always willing to provide recommendations and suggestions to customers. However, like any restaurant, there are some criticisms of Yorkville Crepes. Some customers have complained about the portion sizes being too small for the price, while others have mentioned that the restaurant can get busy during peak hours, leading to longer wait times. Overall, Yorkville Crepes is a highly regarded creperie in Toronto, offering a unique and delicious menu in a cozy atmosphere. While there may be some criticisms, the restaurants positive attributes far outweigh the negative, making it a popular choice for crepe enthusiasts in the city. !!!!!!!!!EXTRA CHARGES!!!!!!!!! First off, on the menu it states that: a party of 4 or more will be charged an automatic 18% gratuity. BUT There were 3 of us, and we each still got charged the 18% with no option to change the amount. Secondly, I ordered their crêpe and salad combination meal which is $15.95 on the menu. I was charged $19.95 for it????Nowhere on the menu did it say that different types of crêpes and salads would be of extra charge, so where was this charge from? The crêpes were fine, but the portions were SO SMALL I was hungry when I left the place. For the amount I paid... unbelievable. I will not be coming back to this restaurant and will be telling everyone I know in the city about this unacceptable experience.
In most aspects, this place is not worth it. Servers were friendly, but we were charged extra for no reason and the food is not great. Heres what happened: The place is very small. My group was offered a spot at the counter by the window, but the area was small and not good for more than 2. They seated us at a table instead, except I had to sit in the aisle. I was assured people could walk by which was not the case. I felt bad because there was not enough space to move my chair for people to get through properly. Though it was nice of them to offer the table option, it was uncomfortable and it doesnt make up for the extra charges and food quality. As a group of 3 they charged us for gratuity which is meant for 4 or more people. The crepes were just ok. Had a hard time cutting through the crepe even though they were made fresh. It was dry and the knives werent sharp enough to cut. If youre going to charge extra at least serve quality food!
Come here if you want a great selection and a private time where its not too loud. It feels like a home kitchen and a local business - not a big chain joint. My son loved it and tried his first coffee.
A nice café to check out. The owners are very nice and put a lot of work into the food and coffee here.
Yes! Im glad I stopped at this place. The food was very tasty. The place was nicely quiet, and I will probably come back again.
We had the Mademoiselle and the Chicken Bagel and it was delicious. I cannot get over how perfectly savoury, sweet and fresh it was. Amazing.
How they dont have a 5 star average is BEYOND me! Some of the best breakfast food Ive ever had, served hot, fresh, and quick. An adorable spot as well, great for a warm-up on a cold, rainy morning. A must!
Nice little cafe with delicious crepes, egg dishes and good espresso. Employee motivation could be a little more.
What a cute little place with friendly service. I forgot the name of my server! She was extremely accommodating and sweet, My friend wanted a smaller crepe and she especially made one for her! Also, made an effort to make a tree on my hot chocolate. Overall a great gesture. I will be back to try more!
Wheelchair accessibility: Not much space Food
I love this place so much! They always have great food & you can tell everything is made fresh and with love. the ambience is lovely whether you want to have a solo lunch or go with dear ones. The service is incredible & if I could, I d happily spend hours just studying and relaxing and eating here. 12/10 so happy it survivors the pandemic!
Absolutely lovely food, at great prices. No complaints.
My friend and I were really looking forward to trying this place out after seeing the good reviews and cute interior. The food was decent, but what really set this place apart was the awful service. Id give it 0 stars if I could. After the server seated us, he just left us be and we had to ask him for water and for menus about 10 minutes in. While we got the water, he never ended up giving us any menus and we had to pull it up on our phones to order. This wouldve been fine if it was contactless menus but they were given to other tables without them having to ask for them. After taking the time to think about what to order, we waited for the server to come by, except he never did. We then had to ask if we could order while he was behind the counter and it took at least another 5 minutes before he slowly made his way over to our table, which was situated just in front of the counter where he was. I wouldve even been fine if he took our orders with the counter between us, rather than just nodding and then not coming over. When he did, he just stood there waiting for us to let him know what we wanted. I ordered the tuna melt while my friend ordered the Caroline crepe. Right off the bat I was told that there wasnt any sesame seed bagels and they only had poppy seed. No big deal, not my preference but it wasnt a make or break kind of deal so I switched it on over. A few minutes later I heard another employee mention they were out of ice cream. Our server then came back and flatly relayed that verbatim before asking if my friend would like whipped cream instead. Not even a simple, sorry we ran out of ice cream, he simply just said we dont have any ice cream. Does whipped cream work with the flattest tone Ive ever heard. When the food was ready, the server just plopped it down onto the table and walked away. I was absolutely astounded by the complete lack of care given. Even a simple, enjoy wouldve sufficed. Not impressed at all.
Reviews mentioning discrimination are spot on! I came with my mother and my (well behaved toddler). The younger blonde woman (with lower back tatoo) as soon as she saw us said ALL tables are reserved (about 4 were empty). Then the older blonde woman whispered something to her and told us they do have a table available. So if they dont like the look of your party they eill deny you a table..
Too crowded on the weekends and crepes were very chewy and hard with minimal fillings. But the staff was really friendly and considerate!
Very sweet place with loads of crepe options we had cheese and basil one and a sweet one with strawberries, sugar and lemon. Recommend both :) Just a latte was a bit too strong for my taste, other than that wonderful place for cozy brunch! Food
My favourite food place in Toronto! Vegetarian options: Plenty Food : 5/5 |
Extremely slow service.
Lovely place to visit, nice and comfy, you will meet the sweetest people inside, overall beautiful experience.
I walked into Yorkville Crepes not knowing what a crepe was and pleasantly to my surprise it was so flavourful and amazing. My taste buds were bursting with pleasure. And the staff Carrey and her sister was so sweet and attentive. I had a wonderful experience. I will be back for more.
After a delicious croissant with egg, ham, avocado, and more, we couldnt leave without trying a pancake with white chocolate and banana. Everything was delicious.
Upon entering, was forced to sit nearby the burning crepe cooktops when there were two tables available further away. 30 min wait for food, and no sign of more crepes being made. Food being sold off in the middle of this small 14 seat cafe. Note to the purveyors; - don t yell out who s food is this? - the same person making crepes shouldn t be going out to seat patrons or take orders amongst the three of you - please get organized and don t leave small food scraps burning on your crepe cooktop, it ll smell and leave a lingering taste of burnt food on your next crepe
super great experience. the servers were very friendly - Carrie was super accommodating as well as the other staff. food was 10/10, highly recommend
They were the best pancakes Ive ever eaten. I especially love the salty ones. employees are very warm.
Waited over 40 minutes for 3 breakfast sandwiches to go. In retrospect I should have gone to Tim horton s
Best crepes ever.
I love this vibe. So calm and fancy
Drink is great, and the atmosphere is great as well. The manager is super helpful and kind. There re a lot of selections of food and beverages. Love this place!
I ordered a hot chocolate. It was sooo nice, not too sweet but you can feel the rich chocolate flavor Also the mood is very nice, cafe mainly consists of white and gold color, which makes here look gorgeous I had a good time here with such a tasty hot chocolate:)
The atmosphere here was so good. Beautiful decoration, lovely music and very friendly staffs!
The crêpes are always amazing, and when Ive done pickup, the staff has always been great and so friendly. Its also a beautiful place! 5/5
The ambiance is so cozy and calm and the place looks very nice. I loved my dish, it was delicious. I took the Québécoise crepe and hot chocolate and loved it! I m very glad I tried this place. The people were nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend it!
Such a cute little restaurant in the neighborhood! I loved the savory crepes
The crepes and salads are delicious!!! I loved the vibe and the staff is very attentive and helpful.
What a wonderful place to have crepes! Loved the decor, music and vibe in the morning. Had a delicious pair of savory and sweet crepes mixed with americano from a beautiful mug. Friendly and welcoming personal is a cherry on top of lovely morning :)
I ve been coming here for YEARS and absolutely love it. The coffee is delicious, the crepes are succulent and they are always down to make adjustments to the menu (if asked nicely of course). 10/10 recommend! Thanks to Carrey and the team for running such a great place!!
We had the best service and best lunch here. Service was top notch!
Delicious crepes, great service! Highly recommend! Food
This place is absolutely amazing. The owner Caroline was so sweet and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so pretty and relaxing. I will definitely be going back. This is a must stop place in Yorkville.
an absolute gem of a place in Yorkville. Carrey and the team ensure impeccable service and the crepes are the best in the city. Instagram worthy decor - i m hooked to the Marseilles crepe. Ham and swiss. This place is a staple !
Deliscious and delightful!
Im a regular here. The food and service is amazing! It brightens my day to come here!
Delicious food and superb service!
One of my favorite local spots for food and coffee. Soups and Salads are fresh and delicious. Have yet to try the sweet crepes mostly because I like the savory ones too much to switch it up. Super affordable especially considering how places in this area can be. Staff are super friendly, Carrie and Vanessa and everyone else who has served me. Definitely stop in
Great place, great food, great people
The food is delicious, nice environment, perfect for having lunch/ brunch And staff is amazing . I would definitely recommend it!! Food
The service is amazing, the food it s really good, and the place is like a dream Its a perfect place to have a branch I really recommend this place :) Food
Lovely atmosphere, delicious crepes and friendly services :)
Great crepes and cosy place! Friendly service too. Amazing time spent before the thanksgiving!
If you want to wait an hour and a half for crepes, by all means, come here.
Not the traditional crepe were use to. Crispy, nice & theres 2 to share & we tried 2 different kinds. Bagel, again not traditional but nicely toasted. Very relaxing atmosphere & nice people there.
Atmosphere and food was great but service was terrible. 2 things made wrong. 1 drink completely forgotten. Wait staff was very frazzled and disorganized. Literally yelling over our table to the kitchen, not how you run an open kitchen. Especially when its literally 10 steps away. Felt like on a verge of a complete meltdown. And judging by the point of sale wouldnt be the first.
As soon as you enter this incredibly stylish restaurant you feel welcome in a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Here, attention to detail was really paid to the design and furnishings. Exactly the opposite of the many other stereotypical interiors in all the restaurant chains. This place invites you to linger and feel good. The crepes are exceptionally tasty and professionally prepared. Unreserved 5 stars for the authenticity and uniqueness
I was grateful for the very kind and warm hospitality. The crepes were also delicious. Highly recommend this place! :)
The hidden gem that no one knows about....I appreciate this place extensively. I am marvelled by how easy it was to order and the crepes were fresh. My gf ordered a bagel (boring) but ended up eating out of my crepes. Good good goooood
What a wonderful and charming experience. The mother and daughter owner duo were lovely and warm. The food was delicious and the coffee was perfect! We are so glad to have a new brunch spot near by! Food
Great food!
Friendly people and the crepes are so yummy!
The staff were nice but obviously overwhelmed as the store was packed and busy. The layout is very small and I understand its hard to do much with that little space, it was still uncomfortable to be seated in the way of other customers getting by and having people next to us asking to use our table for more space. The wait is long but fair, however the food was not worth waiting for. I can only speak for the crepes, but as the store centers around them, I was disappointed they didnt live up to the hype and werent worth the high price at all. The crepe itself was rubbery and difficult to cut and chew leaving my jaw hurting afterwards. The options on the menu seemed appealing but both the sweet and savory crepes came with barely any filling, one having just a thin layer of chocolate which was super disappointing compared to crepes Ive had elsewhere for half the price. Overall i wish i could like it more, being a cute store and concept, but my experience was not great.
Always good food, and service. Great place to stop for a quick snack
Perfect place if you re looking for a cozy cafe. I ordered one savoury crepe (La Canadienne) and one sweet crepe (St. Martin) and they were equally delicious. The food came out fast and was devoured just as quickly. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent crepes, kuba come back
The store had such a pretty, vintage and Parisian-vibe. I loved the aesthetics of it so much, didn t want to leave. I got the Nutella crepe with banana slices which was yummy and filling! I tried my friend s Charly with strawberry crepe and preferred it to mine, it was really nice. I ll definitely revisit soon!!
Crepe is soft, delicious and vert tasty (Carrey) who s served me so kind and very nice person Food
Super cute aesthetic place inside, the food was great and the service was wonderful. Overall a great experience!
The place is super cozy and our server, Carrie was absolutely delightful. Definitely coming back for the sweet potato soup <3
Crepe and coffee were good, but prices online are inaccurate
Waited around 15-20 mins for the crepes but they were pretty good crepe texture was very chewy and fresh. Recommend getting both the savory crepes and sweet crepes to share, they each have their own beauty. Recommend the salmon cream cheese crepe and sugar crepe! Their honey latte is quite nice as well!
Best crepes ever! Even my kids who are so picky liked it.
There was plastic inside of the crepe and I asked them to change it. Server didn t apologize and offer any explanation. Service was horrible and crepes were ordinary.
Small restaurant for French crepes in Toronto. Quality and favour
usually have good crepes. todays were so overcooked...was like eating fajitas. the filling wasnt very good either. have had them in the past and they were fine but not today. too bad. if it was my first experience i would not return
Great selection of crepes and other breakfast foods, freshly made right in front of you, and a cute and cozy atmosphere to boot. If you want brunch this is the place to go.
i got the nutella crepes and it was amazing! lots and lots of chocolate in the crepes definitely worth the price. the service was great as well, very friendly & warm :-) would 10/10 go back again if i crave crepes!!
This was a great stop while we we re studying and decided to treat ourselves. The crepes were delicious and took around 15-20minutes. I had the Chocolat Blanc with strawberries and it was very sweet and light. Didn t feel like a sugar overload all at once. The pricing was pretty good in my opinion which was $15. Also, the interior of this place was very cozy and minimal. It felt like I was at home with all those pillows and definitely read a couple of chapters while here. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying their desserts but also other great options!
Food was good but small portion. Coffee wasnt great
Yum
Went for brunch with my mom and we got Nutella crepes which were $9.95 plus $1.25 for banana slices the crepes were poorly executed as they tasted of only banana and nothing else. It s like I peeled a banana and ate it. I was also charged $14.20 for one crepe plus the charge for the banana slices which is ridiculous. If you changed your prices, change your menu! As for service, there wasn t any.
Delicious and friendly staff.
They keep cancelling my pick up order through Uber Eats and I don t even realize until I m at the store Why accept the order in the first place? Have some respect for my time.
It is nice and cozy here. Perfect for a brunch or a date. Food is good as well as the coffee. Probably the best coffee I had in canada during my trip.
This was my first time here. Pros: I found the toppings beyond delicious and varied. Cute atmosphere. Cons:The batter is quite thick so it was difficult to cut the crepes. Both ends were dry. Not melt in your mouth like the crepes Im used to. Hot chocolate was watery.
Super cute little crepe shop, has a great atmosphere and delicious food. I got the freshly squeezed orange juice, so worth it. The crepes were filling and seemed very well-made. Would definitely come back!
Amazing food, even more amazing service. The bagel was especially nice. They accommodated our many requests and substitutions without hesitation. The only issue is that they dont have too many tables so expect a wait if you want to dine in.
Personally, I like to go to a small business s shop or restaurant. But not this place - no recommended at all Straight up unbelievable service. Specially the OLD lady, she is the one such a rude person. First, Even though food and coffee came late, we were fine cuz there were other customers waiting their food and coffee too. However, it would be a different story after you waited such a long time and found out other tables were served who came way later than us. Instead of telling us how long your food will take, We are all busy and still make your food . When we got our food an hour after, outside of egg omelette was well done cooked as cookie and inside wetted as wet as it can. After my friend took a bit, we decided to return it cuz we don t want to wait another hour. Few mins after, the old lady came up and said as We never ever had experience someone returned the food, did you see how busy we are? Maybe you did that see that s why complained , the omelette usually takes some time to cook , we are not going to charge you anything i know what you are going to do next blah blah blah blah during we were sharing our side of view. If the OLD lady would ve just let it go, then i would ve thinking that they were busy and had a bad morning. However, how much busy you are or having a bad morning - THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM, IT S YOUR PROBLEM. And please grow up yourself, some people may don t like your food. And we didn t except your free food or bill. Thank you for your service, this service made me write a review - Very first time
