I ordered the tuna melt sandwich. When I first entered, I was greeted with a warm smile by the owner. The food was made with love and the portions are big and my tuna portion was thick. The owner was very accommodative for what I wanted. I will be back again!

Update, May 2024: Casa Mia now has new owners and is a small restaurant / diner. It does still have a small deli area. Old Review (no longer valid): Excellent Italian deli. Amazing quality products and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.

The deli counter is gone and replaced with tables now. Very little selection and overpriced. Disappointing.

Good spot for a sub sandwich

Person opening was almost 3h late, my order was accepted by door dash, the guy who walked up beside me to open the stoor said they dont use door dash, after it had already accepted my money and order and said I should just pay again and hell make them.

We had a great experience here. We are out of town and wanted to order a sandwich platter and fruit tray for our family in Toronto. The staff were absolutely fantastic in helping me place the order and coordinate the delivery and our family said the food was delicious! We will definitely be stopping by in person next time we are in the area.

This place just radiates legit old-school family business energy. Im so happy to have a business like this in the neighborhood.

What an amazing shop with great owners!! So many great dishes and the familys help for cooking instructions Ill be back, a lot. Love it!! Girlfriend is gluten sensitive so I made this with their garlic mashed/cheddar cheese and a great brick of fresh parm from them. So good!! Who doesnt love Irish style spaghetti . Lol

Im sure this place makes a lot of amazing treats; unfortunately, Portuguese Custard Tarts (Pasteis de Nata) are NOT one of them! First of all, the tart was cold, so the custard was almost hard. But even if the custard were creamy, it was overly sweet without much actual flavour (if any.) And if that werent enough, the pastry wasnt flaky at all!

Casa Mia is a gem of a shop in the Beaches. It always amazes me seeing the incredible variety of quality food available in such a small space. Nick carries some of the best known (and flavourful) Canadian and European cheese. But, Casa Mia is so much more thanks to its varied selection of pasta, coffee, chips, meals to go, pile, pastries, etc. Theres no store like it in the Beaches and hopefully theyll stick around for many years to come.

They appeared to feel deserving of nothing but praise. The shop is appealing, no question. We were there during Covid June or July 2020. The owners appeared to be the only people working there and although professional and knowledgeable, they didnt particularly care about us even though we were enthusiastic about the shop and the possibilities it presented us for lunch in the Park. About $72 was what we spent on a lunch for two. No matter. The experience was the investment although virtually everything would have been available from a trip to Loblaws, and probably for less. We went back for coffee and I asked if I might use the washroom. We were the only people in the shop. The answer was effectively Heres your coffee. Thanks (not really) for your spend but no, you cant use the washroom because... Covid. Will there be anything else? It wasnt couched in that language but the messaging was clear. Youre nice and all and youve spent money (twice now) but... I REALLY dont care about you, nor your enthusiasm... We hear it ALL the time. I dont normally leave less than supportive reviews but she (they) really seems to be jaded by ALL the Oh, I LOVE this place reactions theyve seen. I would (and SAID I would) have left the washroom cleaner than I found it. I was a $80 customer in a 90 minute period. She didnt (and I believe doesnt anymore), care. Loblaws is every bit as good a choice for engaging fare. But they going to appreciate your positive comments. Charge you far less. And let you wash your hands.

Definitely the best home-made pasta sauce I have ever tasted. The catered penne and lasagna are amazing. I always return for the small home-made corn loaves.

We go there weekly to get our Ham and Salami for the week. Thin slices all the way. And if you have company there are cheese trays for very good price, you just have to figure out what they are :) Great place for Home made Italian food for take home and heat.

Outstanding local deli that also makes some of the best home style food available on premises! Always delicious and fresh. They have a cheese assortment that you should try...its fun because its a random pick of 4 cheeses, a good amount too...about 15 bucks.

Build your own sand which... it s the size of my head and so good! The latte is amazing. It s a great place for a quick affordable and filling lunch

We just wanted a sandwich...it was slow as molasses to get served but definitely worth the wait...fantastic and delicious gourmet sandwich at an incredible price; everything was cut fresh specially for our sandwich; love this place and we will definitely be back for more

Editing my review as I had to drop the stars after coming here for a couple times. Firstly, I really love this place, especially the older lady and the man who works at the deli, they are exceptional in service and prepare the best sandwich/food. However the ordering process is confusing. Everytime when I try to order a mix of things like hot food, pastries and coffee, there is no flow to when to pay or where to pick up the items. One time I ordered things for-here, the food was on a plate but cappuccino was in a paper cup (???!). I come here for authentic Italian coffees and it is not a good experience to have it in a paper cup, it has too much milk due to the bigger cup size, and also the milk was burnt. I would come here for groceries and take things to go, but I will think twice for coffees and dine-in food.

Just finished having an amazing build your own deli sandwich. Generous portions, delicious, and very satisfying. Lovely folks to top it all off. Great selection of deli meats and cheeses to choose from along with other cooked foods. A little market that packs a great punch! Will definitely be back!

This is a gem in the Beaches neighbourhood - fresh deli, great salads, and amazing frozen take home foods. They have a selection of italian pantry items and breads as well. Stop in for a visit and you will end up buying way more than you need!

Just finished a lovely Xmas lunch at Casa Mia. For anybody celebrating, they do a killer soup. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough, especially with a window seat. Outstanding service from the owner. Excellent value for money, this restaurant strives for customer satisfaction.

Olivia made us each a very special double espresso Americano for my girlfriend s birthday. We enjoyed it with their home made Tiramisu which was delicious tasting fresh with exciting flavour. Look forward to many future return visits. Bravissimo!

We stumbled upon this gem yesterday while looking for a healthy spot for our group of 4 adults and two kids. The staff very kindly offered to plate our selected salads which were delicious. Highly recommend this spot for gourmet but reasonably priced food - both take out and eat in. We ll definitely be back!

There is an Italian deli called Casa Mia in the downtown of Beach area. They have a nice selection of meats, cheeses, homemade side and pasta dishes and appetizers. They also sell slices of good cheeses in a mixed selection separately. The combinations vary so you are bound to find one you like. Pictured combo: thick slices of mozzarella, medium cheddar, Vermeer, and apple-cinnamon goat cheese. Other combos I saw included brie and blue cheeses. I also purchased breaded rice/cheese balls and a large breaded cauliflower. A few minutes in the oven to warm them up and YUM! They serve fresh espresso drinks. They have a selection of fresh and frozen desserts.

Authentic pastries and much more besides. Really good coffee... Christmas goodies galore! Wide selection of imported Italian cakes and much more besides. Everyone is welcome to have a look and you will want to buy loads. Just west of Kew gardens. Once smitten you will return. Gourmet quality reasonably priced. Delicious.

Great deli in the Beaches! Its a bit hard to tell from outside, but they have made-to-order sandwiches, desserts, espresso, take-home meals, and high-end grocery items. Plus they are very friendly!
