Lambo's Deli doles out deli subs brimming with thinly sliced meats and house-made ingredients stuffed into freshly baked kaiser rolls. Reminiscent of a New York-style bodega, the shop caters to no-fuss, nostalgic fare.
Excellent sandwich. $15-16 for a sandwich feels like a lot since they aren't that big. The ingredients were exceptionally fresh. The ratio of veggies to meat to cheese to sauce was perfect. The veggies were crisp and flavorful. No seating, and can be a bit of lines. Quite quick to take your order and then you wait 10-20 minutes during off peak hours (2 pm Saturday). No seating inside. Small bench outside but otherwise you're standing on the sidewalk to eat.
The sandwiches are massive unless you’re really hungry then they’re perfect — I recommend sharing with a friend since it’s cut in half. I ordered the Turkey Swiss and the Dijon mustard killed me it was so strong I think it completely ruined the sandwich for me I would’ve been better off getting the Turkey Pesto. I’m really picky with my sandwiches though and overall it was fairly okay.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Got two with my boyfriend and we each had half of the two. Was a perfect lunch at the park. The sandwiches are so rich in flavour but well balanced at the same time. The pickled veggies are amazing. The roasted red peppers were delicious! We both liked the Italian Trio the best but the Mortadella was really good too. Will definitely being going back. A loved the greens in the sandwich, they dress them and it makes it so much better. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
Super unassuming place with the best deli sandwiches! I tried the Caprese Sandwich with roasted eggplant and it was so yummy! Love how they scoop out the bread so the balance between sauce, fillings, and bread works really well. Highly recommend; bring your appetite!
Lambo's Deli is what sandwich shop dreams are made of. The most amazing looking crosscut you will find in Toronto (peep the pics) and the taste backs it up. The ingredients are as fresh as they come, and pairings will make you drool just by looking at the menu. Price might seem steep for some people (15 $ -17 $), but it would cost around the same to make it yourself. Let's take the Italian trio, for example: Fresh bread, 3 stacks of quality deli meat, thick slices of fresh mozzarella, homemade condiments and more. Plus, that sandwich is HEAVY; it feels like you're holding a baby. A true gem, I'm committing right here and now to trying every sandwich on that menu.
One of my favorite sandwich shop Toronto!! Honestly it’s always a hard decision to decide what to get here because all of the sandwiches are incredible. I love that all the ingredients are fresh and perfectly layered, ensuring a complete and satisfying experience with every mouthful. Their choice of bread also works perfectly with their sub. You aren’t going to get that feeling where you have to gnaw through a huge crust and inches of dry bread to get to the ingredients! I also bought their sandwiches and left it overnight for the next day, and the bread didn’t get too soggy at all. If you are a sandwich aficionado like me, do yourself a favor and try Lambo sandwiches!! It’s well worth the wait!
We got the italian trio and pesto subs and they were delicious! Very filling and chock full of meat. If you get them spicy, the spice level is quite high and spicier than expected.
After all the buzz I checked this spot out and I wasn't impressed. The subs are alright, they weren't anything special. I had the Classic Combo and Italian Trio. The Classic Combo is the best out of the two. The Italian Trio was okay, I found the mozzarella cheese tough and the arugula was over powering. I removed a large amount of the arugula which improved the flavour.
The sandwiches are delicious and very photographable. We had the Italian Trio. The fresh mozzarella was very fresh, but the sandwich, overall, was a bit over salted, perhaps due to the deli meats. They dont mention this anywhere on the menu, but the sandwiches are a foot long. So not really enough for two hungry people; considering that, kinda overpriced at 16-18 bucks.
Sendwich was great but I wish you can sit somewhere and eat it still will go back
Best italian deli style sandwich in town
Whack.
I dont care how good the food or the service is, this place is beyond overpriced. A $20 sandwich defeats the point of sandwiches. I hope this place closes soon. Gross. Avoid like the plague and hopefully places like this will disappear.
When I get a craving for a italian sub.. I go to lambos deli its the best sub shop in the GTA period. And I live in Oakville ont. Every combination is tasty. New york style deli. Keep up the great building of subs!!
Oldschool style Italian deli with fantastic choices to suit all appetites. Ive been here numerous times with friends and family, and have never been disappointed.
Best sandwich I can remember having. I would highly recommend going here Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable options. Marinated, eggplant etc Parking: Just off Dundas
I love walking over to lambos for a yummy sandwich. It is always yummy and the staff are cheerful and friendly! My only wish is that there were more places to sit to eat there
Decent filling sandwiches, nice staff clean restaurant. Pay alittle more then Subway but the food and quality it 10x better.
Love the caprese sandwich with prosciutto and eggplant!
Soooooooooooo good. I had Italian trio and turkey one so far Italian my favourite but just wow. I plan to try every one. So good. So fresh. Also I find the price very fair and worth it!!
I visited Lambos on Friday while in town for work. I told my colleague that I just wanted a really good sandwich, and Lambos Deli delivered. The Turkey Swiss sub was delicious and everything I wanted it to be. Matthew welcomed us in and provided one of the best experiences weve ever had. He told us about the sandwiches and what made each so good. Sitting on the bench by the window, enjoying our lunch, and having some additional conversation with Matthew about how Lambos got started was also lovely. I cant recommend this place anymore.
Excellent sandwiches horrible merch
I was so excited to finally grab a sandwich from here and unfortunately I was disappointed. The trio sandwich was ok but wayyyy too salty. I would try again with a different sandwich as this is a great stop on your way to Trinity bellwoods.
Been coming here for years and theyre always consistently delicious! My fave spot in the city for yummy and generously filled sandwich.
Every time I go to Lambos, the experience is lovely! The food quality is superb, and the amount of food you get for the price is excellent. The interior is well-decorated, which makes the decent wait times enjoyable. Ive loved supporting this small business and will continue to do so!
Bangin subs
Service was great however the sandwich was way too salty. The bun wasn t toasted. And it was overloaded with arugula so much so that I couldn t taste anything but that.
The tuna sandwich is amazing! Highly recommend it. The staff is lovely!
First time eating here, I got the turkey pesto was soo good. Matthew served us and he was extremely nice and helpful!
Incredible sandwiches. Great ingredients, super filling, and the service is fantastic. Love me a Lambos
Phenomenal sandwiches, cool atmosphere and very authentic. One piece of feedback, machines prompt at 18, 20 and 22 percent as tip options. Can be quite jarring for a deli even though I want to tip.
Quality. Thanks!
Delicious sandwiches! The bread is so great, the turkey and Swiss sun is awesome.
One of the most delicious subs you can get here in Toronto. I ordered the Italian Trio, I like how spicy and fragrant it was.
Collectively, 2.5/5.0 it was okay. They look better than they taste. We ordered the Classic and the Italian Vegetable. The Classic was good better than the Vegetable because of the meats, but not exactly noteworthy. The eggplant in the Vegetable was on the bland side, the eggplant was difficult to bite into/eat because of the direction of the grain/fibres, and the bread was soggy by the time we had it (we had ordered in and took out).
I had ordered the turkey pesto, and it was good but definitely not my favourite in the city. It s definitely way too acidic for my taste. Overall, the sandwich was nicely presented and service was also great. Wish they had more seating indoors though, it s definitely more of a take out place.
Its a good sandwich.
This is going to be high praise coming from the Chicago deli scene this was the best sandwich I ever had
Lambo s Deli is the best sandwich spot in Toronto. You can tell they use only fresh ingredients which is why they taste so good. I ve tried almost every sandwich and it never disappoints. The presentation is always clean and satisfying. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family to try!
I usually hate places that charge a high price for a simple food but honestly the quality is so good I understand why it costs more, it was a good meal not just a sandwich
I ve ordered takeout for myself personally a number of times (always great!!) and decided to place a large sandwich order for a corporate lunch. Their online catering/large order form was really easy to fill out, and they were able to accommodate individual special instructions for some of our more picky attendees, no problem . There was a small mixup with my order, and their team and especially Chris provided amazing customer service and was super quick to deliver the best solution. 10/10 would recco for a quick meal for yourself or for a large group!!!!! P.s - the turkey peso is the bessssssttt.
Bread could be better but honestly it still slaps
To each his own. I ll give this spot another chance in maybe 5 years. Wasn t going to post and was going to just keep my opinion to myself. But my friend grabbed for us just now. For $20 you would think they would try to make a decent sandwich. Had the most soggy, sloppiest, worst subs ever. My regret was getting two full subs. The first sub was terrible, and sadly my prayers were not answer when i tasted the second. Again, for $20 with such simple ingredients, nothing special. Absolutely nothing unique about what goes into the sandwich. These sandwiches are disrespectful to sandwich making across the world and across all periods of humankind. The staffs were fine and the place was nice and clean. See you again maybe in 5 or more years maybe.
Fav shop, fav sandwiches, and fav people. This place is truly the best part about living downtown Toronto shoutout to all the lovely hardworking people at Lambos who provide such great service and food to our city!
Lambo s never disappoints! Sandwiches are always so good and customer service is always top notch!
These sandwiches are elite
We order Lambos on set a lot and it s one of our go-to spots whether from the original location or east end they never disappoint!!
Super nice staff and always had great service. Love the location for a nice sandwich in the park. I wasnt a tuna lover until I tried Lambos and its become my new fave
Fantastic sandwich, highly recommend.
Lambos Deli by far has some of the BEST sandwiches in the city. Fresh bread piled high with meat and topping. These sandwiches are insane and absolutely mouthwatering. A must try for everyone. My only complaint is that there is not a location near me to I can have it more often but worth the drive none the less. #bringlambostomississauga LOL.
Lambos is always a pleasant experience! Customer service is great, everyone is very friendly, and despite how busy it gets, they are SUPER quick & efficient!! The mortadella is second to none, a flavour bomb for sure. I ll always say subs are the food of the summer, and this is the place to get it!
So delicious Nice atmosphere and relaxing
Maybe a contentious opinion but I dont think Lambos is worth the hype. The sandwiches are okay, but theyre not balanced in flavor (always super vinegary) and not a great eating experience. Takeout only
Damn good hoagies!
Why would anyone go here? You wait 30+ mins for a regular sandwich. This is no knock on the staff, they were friendly enough, but what a waste of time for an overpriced sandwich. $25 for a standard sandwich that I had to wait 25 mins to get. You gotta be kidding me. I will never waste another Sunday afternoon waiting for a run of the mill sandwich again. I would suggest no one else do the same. Subway may not be great, but it s not half as pretentious and you don t waste 30 mins of a sunny Sunday afternoon to get your sandwich.
Usually love this place but over the last week me and a couple friends have all gotten food poisoning from the Italian Trio sandwich.
Great place for a sandwich, I would recommend ordering ahead and picking up. The Caprese had a bit too much bread crumb gremolata in the middle, but I loved the Italian trio!
Definitely one of the better Sandwich spots in the city. Shop is very quaint
Seriously one of the best sandwiches I ve ever had! I can t think of one negative thing to say about these delicious sandwiches. Perfect amount of meat and sauces. Wrapped properly. Absolutely amazing! Also, when I reached out on Instagram before going, they were nice enough to respond and help me with the menu. Thanks!
TRULY the best sandwich in the city!!! incredible service and generally the best vibe ever! GO THERE NOW!!!! go there YESTERDAY!!!!!
Best
Don t believe the TikTok hype! The place itself has a cool vibe of and old Italian sandwich shop. Very cool Decor. We made it there because there was a lot of hype on social media with beautiful pictures of hot sandwiches but every sandwich we pointed to the cashier we were told it was a special addition and not on the menu. We asked for a bunch of them and got dirty looks for just asking for what they were showing on instagram. The service was horrific! The girl at the cashier was a clueless hipster that looked like she didn t want to be there and every question we asked seemed like she was doing us a favour to just acknowledge our existence. People like that should not be in the service industry or serve food. I had the turkey pesto. Good from far and far from good. Very little turkey and cheaply made bread. We also tried other sandwiches and could not believe how plain they tasted and after an hour a bunch of us did not feel well. Avoid.
Delicious subs, and a couple of really good veggie options.
This place is exactly what it should be a spot for a perfectly crafted sandwich right next to the park. Its the ideal place to grab lunch for a picnic. The staff are super sweet and fast.
Great sandwiches! Very affordable.
So delicious!!!
After years of wanting to try it, we finally did. It hit the spot and more. Definitely coming back for that Italian Trio.
Overall good sandwich (italian trio) but not good enough to justify the steep price.
Both the Italian Trio and Classic Combo sandwiches taste good. The Classic Combo was a little salty, but it was still good overall. The portions are generous, and each sandwich could easily serve one person. I recommend this place.
Food is flavorful and neatly layered. The beverage selection is strong which adds a great pairing with the food menu items. They also sell merch to support the branding.
Small sandwich shop in the heart of Bell Trinity area. They have few options and their deli sandwiches are made fresh. The price range is from 16-18, there are chips and drinks you can choose to pair with the sandwich. I have came by here twice and really enjoyed the sub. I had the Italian trio, Turkey Pesto, and Roast Beef. All packed with fresh ingredients and tasted wonderful. My favorite is probably the Turkey Pesto with pickled red onion and pesto sauce. The sandwich should be eaten immediately because they put a lot of sauce, and can be soggy if you leave if for long. There is limited seating, just a bench outside and some room for waiting inside, appropriate for pick-up only. During peak lunch hours there can be await. Vegetarian options: Two options on the menu Parking: Street parking only, Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
Beautiful subs. That is probably why it is often busy.
Seasoned, flavourful, good quality absolutely delicious sandwich.
A Culinary Delight Lambos Deli offers a tasty culinary experience thats hard to beat. I can confidently say that this place stands out. The freshness of their ingredients is evident in every bite, and the presentation is simply superb. Each dish is not only visually appealing but also bursts with flavor and makes your taste buds dance with enjoyment. The Turkey Swiss was just right perfectly balanced with tender turkey and rich, creamy Swiss cheese. As for the Italian Trio, its easy to see why its a fan favorite. The combination of meats, cheeses, and seasonings is spot on, making every bite a joy. Service at Lambos Deli is impressively fast, ensuring you can enjoy your meal without unnecessary waits. If youre looking for a place with great taste, excellent presentation, and speedy service, Lambos Deli is the spot to visit. Highly recommended! Rating: 4/5 Vegetarian options: Italian Vegetarian Sandwich
Mid, not worth the hype. Takes 30 minutes to get a sub.I had tuna sub and it is okay, I also had the roast beef and wasn t a fan of it at all. I feel like they care more about make the sub look good then actually tasting good. I may have just got the less popular sub options but for 16 dollars per sub wasn t worth it. Better options in that area
Staff was welcoming and helpful. Was trying to get here for ages. Found the subs to be average. Nothing worth traveling for IMO.
save ur money and go to subway for a tastier sandwich without the wait
They catered my event and the sandwiches were a hit. Guests who had never had the sandwiches before were so excited to try them... No one was disappoint!! So delicious and filling.
I LOVEEEEEEE Lambos! Their Turkey Swiss sandwich is unreal, everything tastes so fresh and delicious. Lambos is my go to when I want to get a feel good meal, it always hits the spot and is consistently good.
Very decent classic combo sub!
Ordered the roast beef and turkey pesto. It wasnt until I got home an hour later did I realize they gave me the wrong sandwich. Got a tuna instead of a turkey pesto. It was especially disappointing since the wait was quite longer than I expected for just two subs. Not much seating inside or out so youll most likely need to eat elsewhere. On a good note, the roast beef was delicious! Willing to give this another chance but I hope the service does improve.
We love the sandwiches here.
Deliciousness in a sandwich !
Great food! A bit pricey. Especially if you add an extra topping. I would say they make a great sandwich, with good meat, cheese and toppings. But not the most affordable.
OMG best sandwiches weve ever had!! Everyone got something different and we were all speechless. Huge sandwiches for a great price and the flavors are out of this world. Go!!
I wish I d bought a second sandwich!
These sandwiches are elite. We catered an order for a friends bridal shower and it was the best spread ever! Vegetarian options: Great options the veggie & caprese are delicious
Fresh ingredients, authentic taste and quick service. Highly recommend their caprese sandwich!
The Italian veggie sandwich is absolutely delicious! A must-try in the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood!
Tasteful sandwiches
Solid deli sandwich, Id rather the bread wasnt hollowed out but I enjoyed the Italian Trio
This is by far the beat place for a sub/sandwich..super fast service and the sandwiches taste amazing!!!
I hadnt had a real sub like what Lambos serves in a very long time. Tasting their food reminded me what Id been missing.
I tried the Italian vegetable sandwich, which contains eggplant, roasted zucchini and red peppers, mozzarella, pickled red onions, pesto, chili spread, breadcrumbs, and balsamic glaze. While the texture was on point with the fresh bread and various ingredients, I found the sandwich itself to be underwhelming and very salty. Its a bit pricey for a sandwich, but the portions are generous, which might justify the cost.
After seeing so much hype online about this place, I was excited to try it. I got the Italian trio, and it wasn t anything special. Compared to some of the photos posted, the sub I actually got was half arugula, a small piece of mozzarella, and a small portion of meat for the price. The packaging was nice, but I d rather get a better sub than nicer packaging. $18.xx for just the sub after tax with no drink or anything isn t worth it for what I got this time. May or may not try a different sub again in the future. Parking: Busy street and filled side streets. Have to pay to park, or expect a far walk.
Honestly nothing to rave about for the price point. I m not a fan of arugula and I feel like they put waaaaaay too much greens. For $16 a sub,I rather go somewhere else. I tried both the Italian Trio and Turkey Pesto. (Btw I removed the greens in the second picture so you can only imagine how much was in there)
The sandwiches are absolutely delish! Ingredients are super fresh and good variety of menu options. Staff are super friendly and service is exceptional. Highly recommend. We will keep going back!
Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options, but it was enjoyable! Food
Tasty sub. Great bread and generous toppings
Sandwiches were average. The meat quantity is deceiving - it s not as much as you think. The bread is extremely cold so it tasted like the sandwich came out of a fridge. More meat and a toasted bun would make all the difference.
Love the spicy spread. Cant beat this if you are by Trinity Bellwoods and want the perfect thing to hold in your hand on a park bench! On a nice day, the wait for your sub might be ~15 mins but theyre pretty efficient. The service is prompt for a place that gets busy on a weekend. I love that Lambos created their own proprietary bread, and respect to the owners who had zero experience in food, and who wanted to create something delicious and fill a gap in the market. Looking at most of the recent so-so reviews, it is clear that there is a subset of people who are foodies with 200+ reviews who are doing reviews en masse and likely just reviewing things without thinking too much. (Gotta get that review count to 300, amirite). Saying Lambos isnt the best is not helpful to someone who is looking for a good sandwich to eat at the park. If you have ever had a mass-market chain or poorly-made cheap sub, your barometer will be markedly different than a foodie who thinks this doesnt deserve 5 stars and [insert random trendy name] is waaaay better. (Is that a person who is a snob? You be the judge). To the arugula haters: Id rather have more than less. Arugula/rocket is good. I cant quit the Italian Trio; the Roast Beef is great for beef lovers and Englishmen; and dont sleep on the Turkey Swiss as it is also very tasty. Dont listen to the haters (so-callled foodies who hate arugula...They probably dont have a taste for arugula/rocket as it may not be something they are used to eating.) Your mileage may vary, but this is a solid sandwich shop. Spend your money on something local where the owners actually give a s***. Thats how we keep Canada thriving in a time of uncertainty.
Very happy theyre in Leslieville now! We used to grab them in the west end. Love the Classic Combo. Always fresh. Sooo good!
I am OBSESSED with this place. The food is INCREDIBLE. The customer service is SUPERB. The management is AMAZING. The experience is UNPARALLELED. Period.
Special place that serves up the best subs in the city! They were kind enough to cater our wedding and even went the extra step to deliver them the day of in a customized paper. Can t speak highly enough about the team and their sandwiches, I highly recommend to everyone! JC
Italian trio is superb .
A bit pricey but the subs are AMAZING. Their signature subs are all delicious. I will be back!
I cannot wait to return. I love the way it looks, they don t just slap it together, they make it nice and neat. It s a big sub with a great price! Quality is good and they aren t stingy with the portions! I absolutely loved the experience.
Ive put off writing a review for this place because Ive felt that any ordinary review wouldnt do it justice. Im now studying out of province but whenever I return I always make sure that I hit this place as soon as I can. Its in a nice area in a nice building with some super nice staff. Food aside, the experience is a lot of fun and I feel that the way the sandwiches are packaged really adds to the experience keeping it on brand with the rest of the store. In terms of the food, Ive tried about half of the menu now and I have nothing but good things to say. The sandwiches are not only beautiful and well priced, but insanely good and they are huge. Its crazy to see that the prices of sandwiches from places like Subway are catching up to far superior places like this. I do find that some sandwiches like the italian trio and the italian vegetable lean on the salty/acidic side, but otherwise I find the sandwiches to be very well balanced. Its hard to express in words how much I like this place. No place is perfect, but this place definitely gets close.
Great food! I recommend the Italian trio. You can also order ahead which might be a good idea as they can sell out
Yeah it rocks here as you should already know. Get the tuna man!
The Italian trio definitely deserves the hype it gets, but seriously do not sleep on the tuna sandwich!! Best I ve ever had!!
The king and queen of subs or hoagie as I recently learned. Lots of choices. Tried a bunch and they re all heaven between buns.
The perfect sandwich!
I wanted to like it, and I d heard a lot about it, but man that had to be the most acidic sandwich I ve ever had. We ordered one of each of the Turkey sandwiches and it was incredibly acidic, not a balanced sandwich at all. The shop has nice decor, and it s in a nice location, but overall was quite disappointed. Another review below mentions the vinegary taste and can 100% confirm - and we even ordered different sandwiches than they did. At $15/sandwich, it s definitely not worth it.
Had the classic sub and it was incredible. Quality meats and cheese and jam packed. Definitely good quality for the price and a sandwich and drink had me full for hours. Would definitely come back!
We got a few sandwiches from Lambos and they were all phenomenal!! Really unique flavors and definitely worth the 45mins wait!
Caprese is the best sandwich.
Extremely fresh and large portions albeit expensive. Meat to bread ratio goes hard. We felt like we were biting through 20 layers of meat, which we basically were. The vegetables taste super fresh. Recommended the Italian. We ordered off ubereats
Big portions and pretty good :)
Ordered the Italian Trio and Classic combo. Its as good as it gets when it comes to sandwiches in Toronto. All the ingredients are fresh. The Italian Trio was bomb! Classic was good but a bit heavy on the iceberg lettuce for my liking.
the sandwiches are so good! definitely lived up to the hype. i went with my italian roommate and he said it was literally the best sandwich he s ever had. not too pricey considering what you get (definitely a better deal to go here instead of to subway), we both got two meals out of one sandwich each. quality ingredients are used as well. they know what they re doing here for sure! we went when it was really busy and the speed of the service was reasonable given the volume of customers as well! the vegetarian options are delicious too!
I cant recommend this place enough! Used to journey to Parkdale and would hit this place every time without fail! A second location has made this even more accessible and I couldnt be happier! The classic is literally a classic but honestly every menu item is unbelievable (mortedella as a close second) and does not need any substitutions or additions. Ive bought the tee-shirt and am a lifelong fan.
Best sub in the West end. Italian Trio is the way to go. No better lunch!!
Big subs. Fresh and great taste. Great service. Must try for everyone! Food
Italian sub craze! Portions are pretty crazy here and for each of those classic combinations every bite had so much flavourful. Its a good sandwich and I can see why its a praised spot. That hot pepper relish is such a crowd pleaser, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I enjoyed it but it is hard to get out of my way for it. If I am in the area, I would like to stop by again.
don t be tricked by the social media buzz, these subs are nothing special and are way too expensive. in fact, they are not even average. subpar at best, probably even lower.
Lambos absolutely exceeds expectations. I love a good sandwich and the generous portion size of this one allowed me to enjoy it twice - half for dinner and half for lunch the next day. Have recommended Lambos to all my friends and family. Definitely a must-try (and try again and again). - A happy repeat customer
One of the best hoagies in Toronto. Turkey pesto with double cheese is unbeatable.
Without a doubt, this sandwich stands out as one of the citys best.
Counter service Italian deli with no frills except one of the best sandwiches I ve ever eaten. Wow! Highly recommend.
Wow! I have been on the hunt for a delicious sub go-to and I finally found it. Jam packed with flavour, every bite was delightful. Just like finishing a great book - I was sad when it was over. Keep doing what you re doing Lambo s Deli. I ll be back.
The only word that comes to mind with every bite is wow ! The subs are unreal, the atmosphere is wonderful, staff are soo kind!! Truly the best sub I ve ever had
Got the Turkey Swiss and Caprese sandwich. They were AMAZING. 10/10 worth the wait and price. Definitely will be returning!
Best sub in Toronto hands down. I used to go to the Bellwoods location all the time in the summer and they would sell out eveyday! Def a must
Essential Toronto sandwich spot. Meatball is amazing if you can get it!
This is the best sandwich shop in Toronto. It s perfection.
My goodness. Why did it take me so long to try Lambos?! Its so so fricking tasty. I went with the Italian trio. That chili spread is incredible. Get your butts over here. My only complaint was I wanted to buy a shirt but they didnt have my size. And thats hardly a complaint as it means I need to return for another sandwich soon. Oh shucks
Come here on a Sunday for lunch, ordered ahead of time and food was ready when we showed up. Great place, massive portions, ended up sharing this sandwich with a friend and we were both full. Would come back!
Better than being in Brooklyn.
Decent but not the best sub I ve had in the city. I ve yet to find anything that compares to Makers Bodega. We tried the classic combo w/ chili spread and the Italian trio. The trio was my fav, great quality meat and cheese. I m not personally a fan of the chili spread - the flavour is bitter and too spicy for my taste so I did my best to wipe it off both subs. It s not too salty while eating by my gosh the 3am water chug was one of the most aggressive I ve experienced.
They have the best sandwiches, each and every one of them are delicious. I love the street style of cold sandwiches, quick, tasty and you can enjoy it on a walk through the park!
How can you be sold out at 3pm on Sunday every Sunday?!?!?!? Hire someone who can plan your sausage and bread mkey
Lambo s is such a great take out sub place! Most expensive sandwich was $16 and cheapest was $13 (I think) but, they were honestly so worth it. The ingredients are so fresh, high quality & the portion is huge. Definitely check it out if you re on Dundas & Bellewoods.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the classic and my friend got the tuna. I m not the biggest fan of pickled things so I liked the tuna more than the classic but it was still good. The sandwiches are pretty big and packed with toppings.
I just absolutely love the spicy Italian sandwich. Its been a huge pregnancy craving of mine ! The flavours blend so well together. I will be back for more !
Had the Classic Combo and it was excellent!
Never disappoints and easily makes two meals.
Stopped in randomly. Sandwiches were a pleasant surprise! Didn t know what to expect walking by and just popped in. Well done!
This place is the best. Easy. If I could handle eating that much or had more motivation to go to the gym Id eat here every week but alas Lambos has to remain a treat. And that it is. Delicious every time and consistent top quality.
Quick service, great sandwiches. Everything you would expect out of a good Italian deli. Have been multiple times and will visit again.
Wanted to try this place for a while. It was just meh. Overall Im disappointed after spending $18 on a sub (after tax and no tip). I ordered the turkey bacon sub. It was ok. Nothing special. Not worth $18. The bread didnt taste very fresh. Wasnt given a choice of bread or asked I wanted the sub heated up. Not sure if these are options but should be for the price.
Talk about lack of customer service and arrogance. It s a shame that if a restaurant is just or popular they feel it s ok to treat customers poorly. Having absolutely no consideration for their customers is how they operate. So for the mediocre good you will get and can easily make and find elsewhere I would I go somewhere that treats people a whole lot better than this place.
When you have a craving for some good Italian deli sandwiches, Lambo s is a must!
My first experience with Lambos was through delivery, so I cant comment on the service/atmosphere. However, the Italian Trio is hands down one of, if not THE best sandwich Ive had in my life. HIGHLY reccommend!
One of the best sandwiches in the city, is it a bit pricey, sure. But all around great deli sandwich for a weekend in the park!
Fresh ingredients, great portion, nothing else needs to be said! If I want to be nit picky, please stock more T-shirts in XL! Vegetarian options: Roasted eggplant or cheese sandwich options are available
Absolutely love this place. It s my go to. Best subs in Toronto and nice folks too. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for with top quality ingredients and a huge portion. Turkey Swiss plus pesto for the win!
So Ive waited until I could try at least 3 or 4 of their subs to write this review. I think in general these are good subs. Toronto doesnt really have any great sub shops so it isnt hard to seperate yourself from the pack of mediocrity. The main issue I have with all of their subs is the acidity level, their sauce selection in combination with an over abundance of greens on the subs makes for an acidic taste profile. Imo what you need to do is have a sub oil to counter this and to lower the amount of greens on the subs. I would recommend trying a Wegmans sub in buffalo and make that the benchmark. I want your company to succeed and I would love for your shop to be the best sub shop in T.O. but if the acidity isnt addressed this wont be the case. Good luck! ps. The british counter person at the Queen E location is excellent.
EXCELLENT hoagies. stuffed with delicious meat and veggies. True to advertising. GREAT value. Somehow they made me an instant loyal customer on first try.
tuna sub goes HARD. best sandwich slingers in the game. dont waste your time anywhere else. value for money is great too.
awesome!!!
This is my favourite place to get a deli sandwich. They stuff it to perfection, and they wrap it so well. Their sandwich is worth the trip downtown and the price.
Always see this place on tiktok, and finally decided to try it out- as skmeone who loves a good sandwich, i can def stand behind this place! it was SO GOOD!!!! you can taste the freshness of the ingredients.
Definitely worth the hype.
Italian vege 10/10
I loved their Italian Trio. I have tried similar type of sandwiches across Toronto and here is definitely one of the best. It is generously filled with fresh ingrediants. I should bring my friends to this place.
Tried the Turkey Pesto. It was OK a bit underwhelming. Bread was crusty. With drink, pickles, and Calabrian chili came out to $28. Pricy for what it is. Instagram fooled me again
Absolutely tremendous sammiches, these will blow your bawlz off. Life can be horrible but you can always get a sammich from Lambos
best sandwich i ve ever had! fresh ingredients, good music and great ppl.
Heard a lot about this place so I thought I d give it a try. Theres really not much for me to say, all I could taste when I bit into the sandwich was acid/vinegar. The ratio was about 70% veggies and 30% meat. Everything was pickled and even the sauces in it were vinegar or oil based. Great place to get some heart burn for $20.
One word: LOVE. Definitely worth checking out!
Sandwiches are fresh and use good ingredients, but for some reason I just haven t found one I like the taste of yet. I ve tried 4 different types and none of them were worth ordering again for me.
Friendly and fast. Can share a sandwich for sure.
Amazing wraps. So surprised!
Great sandwiches and I love the chips.
This place is the business. Love it. My family and I go often.
Super fresh ingredients and very nice staff but the sandwiches were overpowered by the vegetables and condiments used to where you couldnt really even taste the meat of the sandwich in the Italian trio. Would not go again as this is not my style of sandwich.
Been meaning to check this place out for awhile, and I do not understand the hype. I was completely underwhelmed/borderline disappointed by the food. I got the Italian trio + a bag of chips, and it cost $28 with tax/tip. I generally don t mind spending money on quality food, but nearly $30 for a sandwich lunch without a drink is absurd. The bread was on the stale side, and it was completely soggy from the ingredients by the time I got home 10 minutes later. Also, the minimum tip suggestion of 18% for a cold, take out sandwich handed over by a rude server is pretty brazen.
This place serves massive subs that are overstuffed with fillings. The ingredients are fresh and the subs are made to order.
we got the Italian Trio on a nice summer day and it was really refreshing! you can definitely share between two people as the sandwich is super packed with ingredients. however, i found some bites quite salty while other bites were bland. it seemed like the sandwich was missing something. 7/10
Definitely an iconic Toronto sub deli spot. Got myself one of their most popular sub which is the Italian trio . The first bite was a home run and got me in love with their sandwich. I was recommended by a friend to try this place out and I suggest the same for anyone else looking for a fantastic size sandwich.
On the pricier side of sandwiches but delicious nonetheless! No dine in available when I went but theres public benches around the neighbourhood.
Probably the best tuna sandwich I ve ever had. Super fresh ingredients, huge portions.
