Very rude Indian staff it was a lady very rude attitude. I am not posting the name . Food was ok .. but customer service was bad eve though there was no line up. Subway was good but service was bossy and rude..

ATTN FRANCHISEE. RE: Subway Restaurant 1900 Eglington Ave, East, Scarborough. It would appear that most of your bad reviews have to do with either pricing or customer service. I wont comment on the pricing issue at the moment but will instead focus this review on the customer service side of things. THE LOCATION Ive been to this Subway location many times before and like that its located in this plaza - lots of parking and just off of Eglington so thats convenient for me. THE ATMOSPHERE This is quite a big location in terms of square footage. Ive been to some very tiny Subway restaurants before and I can tell you from experience, that this is a huge location. I like that its spacious and bright with lots of seats. Theres never an issue getting a seat here. The one thing I would say is that Ive seen the occasional dirty/sticky tables that needed to be wiped down BUT, I know the reason for this....keep reading. THE SUPER STAR EMPLOYEE Every time Ive visited this location, Ive been served by the same young girl. Shes super friendly, VERY efficient, and moves like lightning - she has to! Ive stood there in line and looked at this young ladys work and I must say, I was impressed with her efficiency, and ability to work so well under pressure while still being able to maintain a friendly and patient attitude toward customers. I was a few times in 2023 and she was the only employee there at the front serving people, making subs, and cashing. As I stood in line patiently waiting, the line-up kept getting longer and I was expecting that another employee to come out from the back to help this poor girl who was doing her best to keep up but no one came to help her. I went again a few times in 2023 expecting to see someone new or, perhaps a second employee but I saw the same girl. Once again, people started piling in the door but NO ONE came out from the back to help this young lady. I was confused. You mean, she still here ALONE?!?! I thought to myself. Fast forward to 2024 - yesterday to be exact and once again, I went there fully expecting to see someone new, perhaps more employees BUT NO! The same girl was there struggling to keep up. I was SHOCKED!!! Note that my 3-star review has nothing to do with this employee - 5 Stars for here! A BUSY PLACE This location is next to Starbucks and in a VERY busy plaza so there is always a good amount of traffic into this store. I bet you anything that this stores sales are pretty darn good! So why then cant they hire a second person to help out at the front? When does this young lady get a break? When does she even have time to breathe? THE BIG PROBLEM Ive been to other Subway restaurants literally half the size of this one and have always seen TWO if not more employees. Because of this, theres hardly a line-up, and the employees can share the workload and be efficient, keeping the place clean. However, at this location, it seems as though the franchisee either does not want to spend the money to hire another person or does not care about the well-being of this poor girl whos been there for at least two years as far as I can tell with ZERO HELP at the front counter. Is this franchisee breaking any labor laws by not getting this young lady the help she so desperately needs I wonder? And, does the Subway office know whats happening here? IN SUMMARY To all Subway customers that read this, the next time you visit this location pay attention - is the same girl there from your last visit? Does she have help? ASK HER! I am hoping the franchisee reads this very serious review and understands that one reason they have a 3 STAR review is directly related to the lack of service because there are just not enough employees here. Please get some HELP for this Superstar employee!

Official timings as of Friday is till 10pm and at 09:10 the sub guy is telling me that I can t dine in

Ordered crispy chicken sandwich. But chicken was not crispy at all and some pieces were like rubber. I dont recommend crispy chicken sandwich. Food

Looks like bad management scheduling the employees, the poor girl working there was struggling all by herself doing everything, 5 starts for her 2 stars for the location. You can t possibly expect one single employee handle everything alone in such busy location, almost 20 minutes wait to get a sandwich.

AVOID!!! They charge more for their subs than any other Subway. They also dont allow you to get any deals with the app. They have clearly written over the prices with their own prices and they are WAY above all the other Subways.

I order tuna wrap here now at 8pm, at first this guy told me washroom is closed u cant wash ur hands then he was saying me dine in is not allowed we r closing it is our rule to get customers out from the shop an hour before, he was such a miss behaving guy. Very disappointed with the way he behaved with me!

The guy named Vaibhav made such a good sandwich and he helped me when store was almost going to close. I was so tired and hungry after work. He saved me!!

Frankly saying there should not be any star given to this place. No customer service provided at all. Cca who worked on 22/05/2023 which is the Victoria Day. Timing 2:36 PM. I asked her name she did not provided. Second she had no name tag on her dress. Very bad attitude of that lady. She said that she wont grill my sandwich after 5 dressings as fas as i know Subway i have visited they never reject these request. I have been in Dubai, New york, London and Delhi no one has ever behaved that much bad as this lady today did. She should be taught by the owner or the management should teach her customer service skills if you all can not than i can pay for the course. Do not go at this time when you are in good mood to enjoy the holiday and met this lady spoiled the whole day.

This location is a total rip off. Subs here are significantly more expensive than other locations. The same 6 inch sub shouldnt be $4 more expensive than Subways in downtown, stay away.

This location is well kept and clean. The food handling was clean and professional. The male assistant was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. I will recommend this place. Parking: Parking is free and available on a first come first serve basis. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

Worst subway. There s 0 point to the app. If you order through the app they don t make it and will continue to serve other customers. The lady told me I needed to wait 10 minutes, however if I waited in line I would of got served sooner. The slowest subway. Even the people making the sandwiches are slow at it. I don t recommend this place, there s tons of other places in the neighbourhood to pick from with better food, service and better prices. There was also hair in the green peppers bin.

The food was good. The employee who served us was very rude and was giving weird expressions. She was in too much hurry even though no one was thr except us. I would not want to here again bcoz of the employee behaviour.

She is in a hurry even though we re the only one inside. She kept on saying (more than 3x) I can take your order even though we told her to give us some time. Worst experience. Asked for beef and chicken sandwiches. The way ( indian girl) served, not satisfactory at all. Very Small amount of beef and chicken were given for $18. Miserable sandwiches! That was my first visit and experience at this place. Will Think twice next time

I ordered one foot long. Very limited veggie options. She had to dump a few buns of bread as they were rotten. The one I got was semi Fresh, but when I asked her if it was fresh, she said it was..... Never again. The purchasing power has dropped a lot and you will be eating rotten food from the previous days if not weeks.

Supposed to open at 7am...arrived at 655am and......no one!!!...7am...no one!!!!....705am.....no one...710am....thats right, you guessed it...no one!!!!! 713am a lady got dropped off and she made me wait longer while she opened up!!!! Two words.....no, not those but bye bye!!!!

Staff is friendly helpful and quick, place was clean and orderly. Subways typical choices of mini sub sandwiches, and Pepsi-Cola supplied their pop, no coke, which was fine by me.

I d rate this restaurant -1000, worst customer service and stupidest person I ve ever met. His name is davash? Refused to cut a sub in half and toast half because he would charge for 2 separate 6 inch s. the sub that was made is a mess I m a previous subway employee and I ve never seen such a mess of an establishment! Currently recommend going anywhere else

Dont worry, the food is good. Poorly managed for the staff however. One employee on the busiest days at the shopping area. The wait can be excessive.

I was in there today and asked for my sub toasted it came out soggy somehow the bread is stale lettuce brown , pop machine was out of syrup I tried to tell them but they wouldnt acknowledge my existence after I paid for my order I made sure they could hear me but they were too busy speaking in there own language to each other to care about there customers

It says its open until late 11pm but I got there at 10pm and its closed and the sign says it closes at 10pm. Please fix this is very annoying

It doesnt matter what you order. Chicken or steak. They all smell and taste like tuna. Its messed up.

One of the worst locations Ive been to. So stingy in condiments. I asked for no lettuce, just spinach and she puts 5 small leaves, I asked for a little more and she literally puts 2 more. Seriously?!! We wont be coming back to this location. The only good thing is, its clean.

What started off as a friendly visit to grab a quick sandwich after working through my entire lunch break ended in complete dissatisfaction! I m a customer service representative/supervisor so customer service means the world to me. Fast forward I ordered a sandwich engaged in a friendly conversation with the person preparing my sandwich when I was about to pay for my sandwich I was told by the server that he s gonna close up after me I m like oh ok anyways I took my meal headed for the table hungry as a lion (literally) lol after unwrapping my sandwich I was told from wa across the room hello we re closed I felt like this guy isn t serious not after I just spent my money here this is the type of customer service I m receiving. If I wasn t as hungry as I described, I swear I would have asked for a refund however I simply rewrapped my sandwich and proceeded out the door to the Tim Hortons not too far away an ate. Upon leaving guess what?? the open sign was still on in the subway. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER SPEND ANOTHER CENT THERE! This was totally avoidable. I could have been your district manager for crying out loud. Certain things you just don t do especially when customer service is your number one priority! If you don t like your hours of work then simply quit! Oh and the time I visited the store was approximately 9:50PM Monday November13th 2017 mind you they re closing time says 11PM
