Terrible service today when we thought we would visit Meet sushi after a long time. My wife is a vegetarian and was ordering 3 dishes for herself. I was going to do the all you can eat but AMY would not let us. Weve been there before and Ive done the seafood all you can eat and my wife has done veg dishes for herself but all of a sudden their staff started making up their own rules. The waiter was okay with us doing that but when he asked the girl, Amy, she refused and we had to leave after a long drive to the restaraunt. Definitely lost our business.

Unfortunately, Amy would not serve me as I was ordering Al-a-carte (veg tempura, veg sushi roll and cheese wantons) while my husband wanted to eat the All you can eat dinner. Inspite of explaining to Amy that we have been here before and eaten this way as I am a vegetarian, they still would not take our order. So we had no choice but to leave. I do understand some places might not allow... but I was ordering 3 vegetarian dishes for myself. Amy was very blunt and rude. It was a very sad experience especially when we were hungry. Amy PUNISHED me for being a vegetarian.

You don t often see meals where you get sushi, mussels, fried rice, and fries in the same setting. It was an odd combination that I could probably go the rest of my life without. If you do find yourself craving a lil something here - the fried rice and fries were winners. The sushi was of poor quality - you get what you pay for! Nonetheless not leftovers I am looking forward to. Bring cash for a 10% discount!

If I could do 0 star I would. The worse experience I ever had in my entire live. I went with my partner and my best friend here. We thought it was a great idea since we saw some tik tok reviewed. Upon arriving the restaurant was empty which I thought was great given it was Saturday afternoon ( I will soon learn to know why). When we sat, we were merely greated and felt rushed into ordering. Usually at a seafood restaurant you are introduced to the menu and main items offered. None of that was provided. Upon trying to place our order their menu had no flexibility of substitution; for instance regular rice changed to fried rice ( we are fine with an up charge if even) but this wasn t an option. Everything was a no and the service was poor. Later on to getting our meals, my miso soup arrived and the waiter had her gloves in my soup so I had to request another, I was turned off immediately. Next thing we later found out about an all you can eat! This was not mentioned to us and felt a bit cheated. If you offer an all you can eat why not start off with letting us know that? The food was very mid, I would have rather went to captain boil. The seafood sauce we got was Cajun and it was very salt, it came with a liquid that appears to be some form of dry ice which was later leaking on our food. The seafood did not taste fresh and it was the worse possible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone

The seafood platters with house sauce is out of this world delicious

Food was good for the most part, but they served the seafood party in a plastic oyster shell which caused the plastic to melt. I can smell burnt plastic coming from the bowl as we made it closer towards the end. Some of the clams also ended up tasting plastic-y. The sushi was good but was obviously pre-made and left in the fridge for awhile the avocado had started to turn brown when it got to us but it did taste good! Service from the man was good.

Anniversary dinner gone wrong: TL;Dr: terrible customer service, even when dish arrived with a surprise ingredient I cant eat We were in the area and unfortunately chose this place. The presentation of the food was excellent, and the food itself was average. The problem came when my tempura dragon roll came with mayonnaise that was not listed anywhere in the ingredients (tempura sweet potato with avocado on top). As a vegan, I do not eat mayonnaise (eggs) but I didnt ask since I have literally been to dozens of different sushi restaurants across Toronto and have never ever found surprise mayonnaise in a maki/roll. I tried to get the servers attention for several minutes but she was looking down at something so I had to go up to the counter. I explained the situation and she said that it was basically my fault because I didnt specifically ask if there were any ingredients not listed on the menu. She refused to do anything since I ordered it. She offered zero apologies or options, and we were charged full price. Also by chance, it was our wedding anniversary so this was really not a good end to our afternoon!!

Good service, goid food, and money worth!

I always order sushi from here. Yesterday I dined in for the first time. Food was quick..I ordered the house sauce medium spiced shrimp 1lb however I prefer the captains boil version better..the flavor didnt marinate in the shrimp. Shrimp was just tossed in the marinade.. so once you peel the shrimp the flavor is lost you need to.ask for a dipping sauce which i paid extra $5. Overall I will keep stick to the sushi menu.

Everything was soooo good. I have been looking for an affordable and delicious seafood boil place for sometime now and I m so glad TikTok directed me to Sushi Meets Boil. I ordered an ice tea to drink, a shrimp boil (I chose corn and Potatoes as my free add ons) and shared a seafood fried rice (shrimp and scallops) and dynamite rolls with my friend and my bill was $35. The only downfall is the place is very small and with 4 of us at a table, I felt there wasnt enough space for our meals. Overall, the food was a 9/10 and I will be back!

I love the food, the fish is so fresh the service is great, the prices are not bad at all, I usually get a platter when I go with friends and it s amazing! Highly recommend coming here if you want good quality sushi Dietary restrictions: We asked for no spicy tuna in the platter due to an allergy and they switch it with an extra cost of $1-$3

This place was a HUGE HUGE disappointment!!! They had a buy one get one sale on uber so i ordered 2lbs of snow crab but quality of the meat was horrendous it was almost like grind meat, i think its been in a cheap freezer for a long time. Not only that but, the corn was undercooked and they didnt even boil the ingredients in the sauce, it was just LIGHTLY poured over. Overall I ve tried Captain boils, though captain boil is a tad more expensive and a little greesy i would order Captains over this place 100 out of a hundred times. I would rather eat at Captain even if it was twice as expensive, that is how disappointed i am at this place. Not trying to be toxic but just hope nobody wastes their time and money, just to end up frustrated and disappointed, cause eating seafood boil is not cheap!

Ive been ordering crab legs from here for a while, but yesterday I order crab legs come to fine that the crab had no meat inside I should have known something was wrong when they place the shell of the crab inside to hide that fact that no meat was inside. Im very disappointed you guys just lost a customer

I was very happy to find seafood boil that was tasty and so very flavourful. It was actually the best I ve had. However just one little thing. I wish they had taken out the black vein(digestive tract) from the shrimp. I couldn t eat the shrimp. But everything else was fantastic. Food

Its great. The seafood buffet costs 120 knives plus tax and tip. Its a pleasure to eat. The lobster meat is very firm, and the Vancouver crab meat is also great. Its very filling.

I had seen someone do a review of this place on tiktok and decided to check out their menu online and the saw that had an extensive selection of sushi and seafood boil options and it was conveniently near me so I decided to check them out. Their sushi is delicious and fresh with generous portions given (in my opinion). The price was pretty decent compared to what I could ve gotten at any other sushi place for more money and the staff were very nice and helpful over the phone and in person.

Shrimp was dirty and had poop on the inside. I woke up suffering after eating the 1lbs seafood boil. Worst experience of my life. Never will I order again or will never recommend to anyone. Very disgusting. Food

Nice little spot for sushi. We had the AYCE sushi for $19.99; the food was great but the menu is very limited with basic sushi options like California, Dynamite and Dragon rolls. For the price, you cant complain though. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this place.

Been here a few times now dine-in for sushi and I find it to be pretty good value and taste. The rolls with panko/tempura crunchy crumbs are very tasty! I will be back if in the area. Haven t tried other seafood

Great vibes and great staff. Prices were amazing. Unagi sushi was pretty good, although the skin was on the chewier side compared to other Unagi Rolls I have tried. The chicken sticky rice was also really good and would highly recommend.

Very bad experience with this restaurant, I ordered 2 lbs shrimp, one came hot and spicy, dumped in the garbage. I called the restaurant, they refused to compensate me and asked me to call uber.the manager Adriana didnt even apologized for the mistake and she has poor communication with the customer. Very cheap restaurant, stay away ,captain boil much better. The portion was cheating ,they included the potatoes and corn with the shrimp to be 1lb.

Wow its so cheap and good and tasty and fast.

Sushi rolls are stuffed with fat juicy fish. The rice is a thin layer so basically its really good because of the meat to rice ratio. The boils are hella delicious and really flavourful. They dont skimp out on the sauces. Be prepared to get messy though but its so worth it. Definitely try their AYCE menu if youre feeling extra hungry. Sushi - better than AYCE quality sushi at very reasonable prices. My favs are the salmon, the scallop, and the raw shrimp. The avocado is very fresh too, which I appreciate a lot. Bento boxes are bang for buck. At $14-$16, you get a main, spring rolls, 6pc California roll, 4 pieces of nigiri, rice, soup, and salad. Its a lot of food. Boil - At at least a few dollars/lb cheaper than Captains Boil, I actually like it here more. It isnt as salty, and I feel like the portions are larger. I could be wrong. I havent had them side by side. Oh! They just put in some tanks and I saw live lobsters, so thats a win! It seems like they do a lot more takeout than they do dine-in, which is great for me when I dine in because its easy to get a table, its peaceful, and they have Wifi, so theoretically speaking, I could sit and do some work.

Hit or miss. Hope you dont get the spoiled fish. Tried 3 times, first time 5/5, everything perfect. Second time tuna inedible. This, the final time, the salmon is inedible. Its actually rancid. Snapper and tuna on verge of being spoiled.

Small restaurant so make a reservation. Had usual japanese cuisine and seafood boil. Service is quick and efficient. Priced fairly overall. Somewhat strict 90 minute sitting time for AYCE. Closed on Tuesdays.

I wanted to contact you guys privately but your website customer form does not work and i cannot find your business email so I will post it here. I am a returning customer and have ate in your restaurant for a few years. I like your restaurant so want to let you guys know I dropped by today(March 26th) to order sushi and appetitzer...but the quality today was really different from usual. The snapper sushi that came with the bento box tasted really bad and the temperature of the fish and rice was not right(almost lukewarm). The floor was really dirty and my shoes were sticky at the bottom when I left and this is a first time it has happened. Do hope everything is back to normal the next time I visit!

Combo for 2. Cajun fries seafood fried rice. Skip order. Cajun fries just has cayenne dust . Corn sweet nice kick/heat . Potatoes need salt and have a kick. Skrimp sweet yuuuum. What I did to make rice less dry and boring I ripped the heads off shrimp and cleaned dem then put rice in that yummy marinade they had. Done blew a hole in me undaroos afta eating....

Be careful when getting take out. The girl behind the counter cashing me out decided to give herself a tip without my permission (WHICH IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL). I paid by debit, and she entered a 20% tip and skipped foward and passed me the machine. I noticed later when i checked my receipt. BEWARE!!!

I have had the lobster here previously for dine in. The lobster was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the lobster I received today is rubbery, smells off and is inedible. I know that I ordered close to closing time but if they were not able to provide quality, then they should not have accepted the order. I will not be eating this as I dont want food poisoning.

Im so glad I came here for the seafood boil. I usually order sushi from meet sushi but after reading the reviews I wanted to try the seafood boil. Im not kidding you, if you like captains boil, youll love meet sushi even more. The house blend sauce was amazing and the quantity and quality on point. I didnt expect to love it this much and personally Id choose this over captains boil. Ive ordered the mussels, rice, Cajun fries, corn, potatoes, takoyaki and spicy salmon make for all for about 50$. Well worth it and a new spot Ill be recommending. I never knew that they had seafood boil available for so long but Im glad I know now!

The more variety a place has, the food quality tends to suffer. Not the case for this place; we had their boiled shrimp and sushi, all of it great! Good and snappy service, and you get 10% off if you pay cash. Only reason theyre missing a star is they have no booze haha ~ 100% will come back again.

Today was my first time ordering from Meet Sushi and my experience was awful!! Hair in food!!?? I found small hairs in my dynamic rolls!!!! What a complete mess! There was even a small hair stuck in my teeth too!!! I found that when I was flossing!! Very disappointing, will never be back!

Yummi seafood boil, the waitress was so helpful. We were so tired after hanging out all day. And this was our first time trying seafood boil. She was always there to help us every time we needed something.

It was the worst sushi i ever had. We ordered dynamite and green dragol rolls, and both were horrible. Not delicious at all. And it was definitely not fresh. Rice was not prepared properly. They didnt bother to put two soy sauces and chopsticks for 24 pieces. Terrible food and customer service

First time ordering, app wasn t working so I called the restaurant. I ordered from here cause I seen it on TIKTOK The young lady who answered even though her English wasn t so good was super sweet and she got my order figured out perfectly. The food came and I m am so surprised. It s heaven. So yummy. I got lobster, crab, shrimp and mussels. I added corn and potatoes.. sooooooooo flipping good. Please try this restaurant. I will definitely be going in to try the actual restaurant. Highly recommend

This marks our inaugural experience with their sushi, and we opted for the mixed party tray through UberEats. The presentation of the sushi tray was strikingly beautiful, complemented by an adorable lunch box. The flavors were delightful, with most sushi being exceptionally fresh, though the red tuna rolls seemed a tad less vibrant in taste. All in all, our first encounter left us rather content.

My favourite restaurant

Ate dinner on Friday here for the first time. Truly enjoyable meal with hot tea. The highlight was the snow crab with corn and broccoli in Cajun sauce. It was delicious! Sure to do again.

Overall, an okay place to eat, not a place I would bring a date. I had the boiled special for 2 and a roll. Of the 4 dishes, 2 were great and 2 were so-so. 1) their seafood fried rice was good, the rice was crispy, good portion of seafood with the rice and the flavor was good. Couple with the boil food, it was a good combination. 2) the canjun fries was good, but I guess its hard to mess up. 3) the boiled shrimp was passable, it was smaller than expected but the house blend sauce was good. No comment in the potatoes but the corn was small and I couldnt taste the corn. 4)The sushi salmon almost had no salmon taste. Note: my review score are as follow: 1 - avoid at all cost 2 - not good 3 - passable 4 - good, should give a try and recommended. 5 - must try.

We grew from an island and we can tell if the crab is fresh or not. This restaurant didn t disappoint. The crab meat immediately separates from the shell when snapped! Everything was tasty. Adam was so accommodating and knows about what they re selling. We ll definitely recommend!

48 piece maki party tray. Will not reorder. Presentation is better than normal but the rolls are too similar. The best tasting is the avocado roll. Unfortunately 2 of 6 rolls have nearly 50% tempura bit filling which I did not enjoy at all (dry + flavourless). Below average.

They served me hot green tea while I was waiting for my takeout. 5/5 for customer service. Everything was tasty & you can t beat the price for the quality. I ll be back for sure!

I got a chirashi bowl here. The servings are generous and the fish is delicious. Presentation is really something. I think the shrimp is not something thats great super raw. I was expecting something more white/pink.

Have gotten takeout from here as well as dined in, and service has always been good. The food is well priced and I recommend this place for a quick and simple meal.

THE BEST SUSHI IN THE CITY THEY HAVE AMAZING QUALITY AND QUANTITY the price is also amazing I will never stop coming to meet sushi so happy I found my favourite sushi spot it was hard to find good sushi in Scarborough but I will never go anywhere else trust me it s worth the trip!

Bought takoyaki from Meet Boil/Sushi and received an overpriced fried squid ball. Fried squid ball, thats it - with literally nothing on it. Each order comes with 5 half balls. I m very disappointed!

I used to live in the area and took a trip down there after finding out that there was a relatively new sushi spot. First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was A+. This has become my 8 year olds favourite sushi spot and she cant stop raving about the chicken teriyaki bento box. Its a small spot but it feels intimate and is very clean, with a modern aesthetic. Aside from the wonderful food, the prices are amazing. I just saw that they have a new location on Kingston road, which I will definitely be checking out!!!

Very delicious sushi! Ordered take out from UberEats and Im impressed by the packaging. Ordered 2 dynamite rolls (BOGO special on app) and the salmon set (can choose half or all sushi or sashimi). The salmon sushi has very flavourful rice with a nice cut of fish on top. The sashimi was a thick cut! The dynamite rolls had very fresh avocado and a nice texture overall. I would definitely order again!!

The cajun boil is fresh, tasty and presented great through delivery! We had shrimp, corn, potatoes and lotus root. The bakes muscles are also amazing. I should have taken a pic but dug right in! Shrimp could have been cooked a tad less but was still great.

The seafood boil is fantastic and the sushi was great too. Will be visiting again soon.

My only favourite food is beef fried rice. Mild spice beef cubes taste from heaven. I buy an extra of rice to have more food. They blend in my extra of rice for only cash $16.75. Comfortable seating with A/C.

Food is clear and very yummy, one of the best places I tried but the woman waiter with blond hair is very rude and unfriendly and need to retrain her. She s the reason I will not come back.

We tried both the sushi/sashimi/bento and seafood boil menus for lunchtime during a weekday. If the review was solely based on the seafood boil, Id give the restaurant a higher rating; they have good deals available (including daily special prices for certain types of seafood) and the sauce is tasty. However, I thought the sushi was only okay. I can see why people say its good value for money, but the rolls we ordered were a little sloppy, and it just wasnt my thing--Id prefer going elsewhere for sashimi/sushi. The service was good, and you can get a 10% discount for paying cash.

Sushi is average in my opinion, definitely would probably eat elsewhere but the seafood boil was good. Reasonable pricing and the house sauce is good. Mild is a good amount of heat without breaking into a sweat but still flavourful. Seems like a lot of takeout business goes through here.

First time here and I ordered the Beef Gyoza and Spring Rolls. Spring rolls are light and crispy with a bit of saltiness. It also comes with a sweet red sauce. The sauce is serviceable but not isnt as yummy as the spring rolls. However, the appreciate the option of having a sauce. Next in line is the beef gyoza. Beef gyoza has tender and juicy meat, and great composition, also is crispy and golden brown. The soy sauce is a great compliment as the saltiness compliments the sweetness. Overall, great food with a low price. 5 stars would go again.

Parking: Parking can be a little tight as its a busy plaza

This spot says all you can eat but then it is not but still sushi are tasty, fresh and quick , price isnt that bad at all they also have something very very very similar to captain boil , didnt try that lol , there fried rice isnt to the standard butnisnt bad at all , overall great experience would recommen

Im very hard to impress and have had a lot of sushi from other places in Markham. Meet sushi by far exceeds them in presentation and price. I ordered today off uber eats and received my food in the best packaging with my instructions followed. I am very happy!

I simply love this place. My go to place every weekend I have free. Online ordering, variety of choices and combos, great tasting dishes, dine-in options and more. I always come back craving their bento boxes and tasty food. Constantly referring family and friends to share these with.

I order from here pretty much weekly because I absolutely love their seafood boil. Their maki rolls are also fresh and tasty. I got two of their premium seafood boil trays/combos to a family dinner last week and it was a huge hit -- there were no leftovers because everything was so good!
