Fresh Oysters, also try the Oysters Rockefeller so much flavor, delicious and well done unbelievable all the food we tried was very devine well worth stopping by. Quaint restaurant, nice ambiance and light music in the background

Even though I dont have much to say about the food, the customer service was lacking because of a person who doesnt treat everyone the same way. it is customary and universal that in a restaurant a hand signal to the waiter means I need help can you come but this gentleman decided to ignore me completely and that during the 5 minutes where my hand was up even though he saw me with my hand up. I had to vocally call out in a restaurant full where everyone turned around to look at me except for the person who it was intend to. And then he completely decided to assume something completely different from what i raised my hand for and that still whithout coming to see what was needed. He absolutely did not treat us the same way he was treating other customers. And when you have that type of bias toward a certain group of people you have no business working in that line of work. I find that deplorable and do not approve that kind of behavior. For this reason I will not recommend this place because for me employing people like this means that the restaurant does endorse this type of behavior toward their clients.

There were lots of broken shell pieces in our oysters The octopus and jumbo scallops we got are way too salty. Service was not that good either. There are better options for oysters in downtown. To the owner: we were here yesterday night at around 7.

Oyster Boys PEI lobster and oysters transported me back to my dining experience at PEI. It was out of the world, so fresh and juicy. We ordered the seafood platter meant for 2. If you are a heavy eater, you would need to order something else on the side. We ordered beer battered fish and chips. The fish tasted very tender and fresh. The crab cakes were very crispy with lots of crab meat inside. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. The waiters were very attentive and pleasant.

I ordered some clams , mussels and oysters raw and my friend ordered macaroni . After I ate within 10 mins of leaving the restaurant I could feel like stomach upset and also nausea . While rushing to get back home my friend had to stop multiple times because I was vomiting and s******* myself at the same time . I got food poisoned or something . Worst experience . I have had food there before but never felt this way. TO THE OWNER WHO THINKS ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE: I have No reason for us to leave fake reviews. It happened 2023 but I am finally getting to put a review because it was the worst feeling and it happened 10 minutes after i left . I always meant to leave a comment but got to it now . However what would have been a solution, you just told me it s baseless and not true?. So it s good I leave a comment . Also it was the night when all lights went off and all diners had to eat with no lights . March 25,2023 . Pictures below.apart from the food , took 1 hour for the food to arrive and service is horrible as reviews suggests .

Second time visiting this restaurant, and their oysters are really good. I ordered oysters from BC, which were super large and delicious. Ill definitely come again.

The only good food we ate was the fried calamari. Oysters werent fresh. Lobster soap was very low quality and almost no lobster at all. Steak was extremely chewy and hard to cut even with a steak knife. Fish and fries were extremely salty.

Best mussels I have ever had. And, of course, the oysters were superb.

We dined at this place on Fathers Day. I had high expectations as I am a huge oyster lover. Unfortunately, the service was horrible and it diminished the experience. We had a server who was very slow, rude, and cared more about doing shots with her co-workers than providing good service. She was hispanic, I did not catch her name, she never offered it. I will definitely not return here. The oysters were pretty good that is the only positive..

Best place to get unshucked Oysters

Regarding to the review from the owner, I did let the server know and she got us a new bill, then she brought the pos machine and input the number which was from the first 2bottles wine bill. I wanted to speak with the manager and she claimed she was the manager just for ur reference. Also, we asked for water, hot sauce, and napkins, had to remind her to bring them over and it took long time for her to bring them to our table, but she didn t forget to overcharge us. So for your reference, we did want to speak with the manager and we told the server about this instead of saying nothing but coming home and write a poor review. Also, have no idea why you said no idea the bills are attached if you had no idea then maybe you are not supervising your own store well, training your staff well or you allowed things like this happened Ordered one bottle of white and got charged for TWICE. BE CAREFUL THEY MAY OVERCHARGE YOU!!!!

I m originally from Florida so this is my first time in Maryland. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place and the view towards the water is incredible. I loved that even though my family arrived before they opened, they happily interacted with us and let us know the time they open. We had the most awesome waiter Brandon, he was so helpful and kind to accommodate our needs. My little brother is a bit of a picky eater and he patiently waited and helped us find something he would like. The drinks are absolutely delicious, they definitely pour nice. Just a perfect balance and perfect display too. The food is so fresh and again just the display is so wonderful. The best way to celebrate Mother s Day. Brandon is the best!!!

Oysters, seafood chouder, and cevicè were exceptional. Scallops, not so much? The dining area was very loud, but there was a large group next to us. Somehow, our waiter forgot to enter our main courses, and when reminded, they came one hour late? Subsequently, one tiny Creme Brulè was offered for two people on the house. Owner was pleasant but should have offered more based on poor service. I was expecting much more for the price.

Oyster was so delicious. I would like to visit here again and eat oysters. Todays oyster was good. The recommended one. Also the atmosphere and the service were nice too.

Most people pick this place for raw oysters, though there is no doubt that they are one of the best places for that. Also, the friendly staff and service were excellent. what surprised me was the other items on the menu, like starters and side dishes. We tried Grilled Squid with Almond Tarator and deep-fried oysters. Absolutely another level of preparing seafood!

Not the same as it used to be. staff is more concerned about serving their friends rather then being professional . Ordered Mac and lobster there was no lobster in that other than some tiny shavings.

When you come to Oyster Boy ask for Maddy or Rachel! Great service and she recommends the best oysters. If my budget could handle it I would come all the time.

Went here for dinner last night with a couple of old work friends and it was absolutely incredible. Our server Maddy was such a pleasure to deal with / talk to - she suggested oysters specific to our tastes and then introduced us to her favourite oyster, the St. Simon from New Brunswick. That was such a killer oyster, we couldnt help but love eating it. I also ate the lobster poutine which was awesome. At the end of the night, Rachel and Maddy hooked us up with a couple of oysters that were shucked for a takeout that never showed up. That was the cherry on top of an even more eventful night.

Great spot for seafood and, of course, oysters. Recent picked up take-out order was handled on a walk in last minute decision being in the area. It was a busy Saturday on Queen st. But the staff and kitchen prepared a great meal and in less than 20 minutes we were on our way. If youve never been. This is a place to try. Reasonable, excellent and staff are friendly and capable.

Oysters are Torontos top option and this should be a five. Unfortunately the rest of the menu falls off so quickly that I cant grade it higher at the price point. If you only get oysters its a ten.

Picked up some unshucked oysters. Great selection of east coast oysters and even had a west coast oyster that my gf likes. Price for unshucked oysters is the best downtown. Oysters seem fresh in general although we were given 1 rotten oyster.

Seafood excellent very fresh. Lobster poutine not as great as it sounds. Atmosphere dim and music loud so great for a fun date or dinner with good friends and fam. Wow, I can t believe I haven t reviewed OB sooner - huge negligence on my end as it is easily one of my favourite, if not my favourite, restaurants in the city. They have the best oysters and supply many restaurants in the city with theirs - so why not go straight to the source? The menu in full is great from start to finish with fun specials usually in rotation. They also offer an oyster shucking class called Shuck U, that involves a lesson, a dozen oysters, shucking knife, and a shirt - it s worth every penny and would make an incredible date. Don t hesitate: go here. Go here often. I love Adam, Claud, and everyone else.

My husband and I attended the Shuck U class. We had a great time. The class was informative and interactive. We were able to shuck 12 of our own oysters. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I only deducted a star because I found it a bit pricy. Food

They have a very nice selection of oysters, which were fresh and juicy. The grilled squid was amazing and so were the steamed clams. Since the restaurant is small and doesnt take online reservations, call and leave a message to reserve your place. Its worth it !!

Not sure why the owner thinks a negative review is fake.. they confirmed a reservation and when our party arrived on time they did not have it. They didn t call to cancel or provide reason. Travelled from Oshawa for someone s birthday to find out they didn t even jot down the reservation. Poor customer service and your wording to handle a negative review speaks to the lack of guest service skills.

First impressions were a tad chaotic but once seated the dining experience went from strength to strength. We come for the oysters and they were impeccable. Good fresh ingredients speak for themselves and this place is a must for any seafood lover.

UPDATE - I had the opportunity to go in person on a Monday night. I got oysters and the ceviche. Everything was absolutely amazing. The only thing I kinda missed was chatting a little with the bartender but this is by no means a negative. This is a nice to have. I have ordered take out from Oyster Boy a few times now. The oysters are absolutely amazing, fresh, and very tasty. I have also had the fish tacos and ceviche and everything is fresh & great portions. This is now one of my top places to get seafood and especially oysters. Keep up the great work!

This place has the best oysters I ve ever had. There s a reason I come here yearly as a birthday tradition. The main courses are pretty good. Though in all honestly the lobster poutine was fine, but not out of this world. A little too salty for me. But, I wasn t upset. My parents had the fish and chips and I had some of it and it was fantastic. Next time I ll get that. I don t know how to describe the oysters but they are amazing. I m not sure what to get and I usually just ask for whatever they recommend and I m happy. Also, the desert is amazing. I cleaned the plate dry on my creme brûlée. One of the city s best.

We came here on a weekday, and it was quiet. Between the two of us, we ordered the oysters Rockefeller (6), lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese, and fried oysters. The app took 30 minutes to come due to several take-out orders, and the server gave us fries to compensate. The Rockefeller oysters have caramelized fennel, wilted spinach, mornay sauce, parm, and cajun gremolata. It was on the saltier side and extra buttery. My preference is to get fresh oysters. The lobster bisque had good flavour and some lobster pieces, but it needed to be creamier. The lobster mac and cheese was the star of our meal. So cheesy, with enough lobster pieces, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and on the meatier side. Overall, service was 5/5 - we appreciate the free fries gesture for the delayed service. There was a non-alcoholic mojito for those doing Dry January or want a non-alcoholic option. Accessibility: the door is not automatic, the stools are high, and the floor is slippery for crutches.

Food was great, service aside from one waitress was good. One waitress tried to charge us for an order we didnt order. Experience was tainted by this experience. But will admit the food was great.

Was very excited to come here enjoy a night out with friends at this restaurant. Not too long after being here our red/orange haired waitress approached our table to start us off with drinks but seems very miserable to be working there. We tried to just ignore the attitude that never went away ,thinking maybe she s just having a bad night but every time she came by our table and surrounding tables, she just had this attitude that never went away . she was very angry and I had invited friends to come enjoy a night out here and they were very uncomfortable by this woman. HIGHLY RECOMMEND any other oyster place over this joke of a restaurant. If you do chose to come here be prepared to spend a lot more then what you will receive back. This place left a bad taste in my mouth figuratively and literally! Also in the history of how this owner responds back to customer concerns under reviews. Which I highly recommend all people reading this to look at responses from him. I am fully prepared for them to just get in the last word as opposed to resolve the issue at hand. Which is very unfortunate.

First of all this location is absolutely adorable, it really feels like you re on the inside of a tiny oyster shack next to the ocean. My husband and I dined here for the very first time recommended by some good friends of ours. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by our server Alicia with a big smile and were greeted pretty much immediately. She had amazing drink recommendations and her oyster knowledge was extremely helpful to us newbies! She even recommended specific sauces to pair with each kind she chose for us. Everything we had was fantastic, from the Mac and cheese to the tacos to the crab cakes. I didn t end up liking oysters (my husband did but I m very picky), but I d come back just for her!!

Warm homey feeling!

The place is one the tastiest Ive ever been to. We had our ladies Galentine there set menu - you just cant go wrong with it. Oysters were heavenly, prawns and seabass literally just melt in your mouth. Ofc it was all accompanied by several bottles of prosecco - which made our night even better. Highly recommend!

Overall, the food is great, but the dining experience was disappointing. There was a waitress who claimed that she was not a waitress at the bar with super annoying and huge laughing sounds, which interrupted the customers conversation each time she laughed. Some tables even pause the conversation and stare at her. Apparently, she doesnt have any self-awareness. Enthusiastic service is one thing, but i believe this is not how you show hospitality. Thumbs down.

Food: good menu, tasty food, nice prices, good portion size Service: rude, very rude (a cafe recently opened in Toronto where waiters deliberately insult visitors, so Oysters bar waiters would fit there perfectly) Atmosphere: weird policies, strange music, not enough space between tables and chairs You can find place where you will be served better with the same quality of food. Overall, not pleasant experience. Note, that they close kitchen pretty early and then they try to do everything to make you leave quickly despite their work hours. Response for Owner: 1. I booked 2 separate tables for 2 different names and informed you about it. Dont tell me that it was surprise for you. I didnt except 1 table for all. You dont have enough space between tables - this is the problem. 2. Its good that you care about your staff and it also would be great if you start think about your clients and inform them in advance about your plans to close the bar earlier! 3. Yes, the place is not for me 100%, your staff is your reflection of your attitude to clients. You are good at finding excuses instead of changing your communication.

A landmark of Toronto serving little oyster gems for over 20 years. We came in for a full experience with a shocking class and then followed up by a full dinner and drinks. So much fun. Definitely worth the stop. Favorite dish(s) was the shrimp tacos and the lobster mac. Looking forward to the next adventure.

I recently dined at Oyster Boy with a group of friends and it was spectacular. The staff was amazing, even though it was a busy Wednesday evening they were checking in, keeping our drinks and water topped up, explaining the oysters just exceeding all our expectations. The food was fantastic, we had the Colville bay oysters (my personal faves) and they did not disappoint. The tacos and ceviche were also standouts. Honestly you can t go wrong with a night out at oyster boy.

Stopped in for a late evening snack. Loved it. Cozy. Friendly staff and good service. Good playlist. Fish chowder was excellent and my oysters were just what I wanted - small, east coast. Nicely paired with a Grüner Veltliner. Havent been for quite a few years - dont know why but will definitely try to be back soon.

So so good! The oysters are so fresh and yummy. Loved the lobster mac and cheese, the shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp tacos. Washed down with a burdock ale, a great night!

The meal and service was spectacular! Claudia was very attentive, professional and had amazing knowledge of oysters and the food was the best Ive had in Toronto with a lot of thought put into it.

The seafood tower was amazing! Lobster was fresh, meaty and sweet. Among other food, we also enjoyed five oyster varieties as well as the cheese baked oysters. Overall a pleasant seafood dinner.

Liked the spot, though we are not fans of raw oysters, we still enjoyed a soup, some fries, and great draught beer. The place is cute, nicely decorated and comfortable. If you are an oyster fan, I am sure this place will top your list :-)

I was visiting Toronto, and this place was absolutely perfect! I had fish taco & raw oysters and they are definitely delicious. This restaurant is quite small place compare to other big name restaurants but please do yourself a favor and visit this place. Not only food is delicious but staff is very helful and overall atmosphere is inviting. I will definitely come again.

The Oyster selection at this place is exceptional. The staff members are pleasant and friendly, although its important to be proactive in seeking their service. The Lobster biscuits have a delightful touch, but they could enhance the amount of lobster and reduce the salt a bit for absolute perfection. The taco shells are slightly undercooked and tough, but the overall taste is enjoyable. The restaurants decor is tastefully done, and even the restroom reflects the attention to detail. Its a delightful spot to visit for oysters, and its no surprise that it has stood the test of time. Will I return, I would say its definitely maybe!

Amazing food. Just be prepared for a very slow service. Although our server was nice, she couldn t help with the long wait on oysters, so I don t blame her. It took 50 minutes to be delivered to us and then everything else took longer too. We wanted to order more food but we ended up going home instead and order takeout. Not the experience we were looking for.

We accidentally received steamed mussels when we ordered steamed clams. Staff was quick to apologize for the mix up and even comped us on a couple of oysters. I didn t expect anything in return so this was very nice of them. Overall the place has fresh seafood and nice/friendly staff but food did take a while to come out

Exceptionally poor food quality and bad customer service. We decided on large order of Thai mussel, same order we got last time. The order was extremely small and the mussels were tiny. Much different order than we received last time. When we question the waiter he responded with an unprofessional tone that he was the sous chef and the order size hasn t changed in years. We ordered the exact same item last time and have a photo from our dinner that clearly shows a drastic difference in size .guess they are fine lying to customers. Wife ordered the daily fish special with was halibut. It was $38 and disgusting. The fish was dry and hard, it was not fresh and I couldn t believe they served it. We did not complain to our waiter because he exuded an attitude of arrogance and didn t show any customer service etiquette initially and seemed like he had never served before. He said our fries and mussels would come together first and then our 2 mains. The fries came and we didn t receive the mussels until 15min later and by this time we had finished the fries and they were cold. I received my main, the fish tacos and my received her main 20minutes later. Are you kidding?! And not one word from our server. It s unfortunate we had such a bad experience cause we use to frequent this restaurant a few years ago but we will never return. I d suggest you go elsewhere as well if you are looking for quality.

After many years of wanting to try oyster boy, we finally made it. Right off the bat we werent too keen on the atmosphere. We were sat in the back half of the restaurant which was very dimly lit. To the point that I had a hard time reading the menu without my phone light. The seating was a high top table and chair which is personally not my wife or my favorite type of seating comfort wise. The oyster were of course very fresh and in fact one of our favorite in the city. We also had the muscles which were pretty good but the rest of the meal fell kinda flat. The service although kind and friendly seemed like there was no sense of urgency. Kindla like you should be happy to be there and theyll get to you when they get to you. We were there for just over 2 hours which was more time than I had planned to be out for dinner but overall its definitely a place if you enjoy a fresh variety of oysters.

I m sad to give this restaurant 3 stars solely due to the terrible service. I work at a steak house and am a very good server and the service my partner and I received was nothing but Toronto jaded attitude. When I walked in the guy at the deak didn t even look up or greet me, I just stood there waiting patiently until he finally told me he d be right with me he wasn t, he just walked away after he was done on the tablet. Sat for a good 5 minutes without a server asking if I wanted anything to drink. Our oysters were explained to us, non of the 4 appetizers we had were explained or told which one was brought out (they just brought them out in two different courses instead of asking us how we d like them). No question if everything was ok, or if we enjoyed, or just a friendly chat about what we liked best. We wanted to order more oysters but because of the last of service we decided not to. We would ve loved to order our mains well before getting close to the kitchen closing time but that wasn t possible because there was no one coming over. I felt out of place and I welcomed. Just a very bad experience from the service staff and disappointing seeing as this restaurant is such a Toronto staple.

There is NO other place in Toronto that serves such excellent shellfish. Add in killer service and there s no other shellfish restaurant in the same league. Not one.

First time coming here with my friend, and our server was very impatient the server we had didn t give us time to look at the menu and kept on bugging us to order even after we ordered she came to our table 10+ times to ask if we need anything I never had a waiter like this, it was actually annoying and me and my friend felt like we couldn t even keep a conversation because she kept coming to our table What s worst was the dish I ordered had too much salt (it was the scallops dish), I then wanted bread to combat the salt and was charged an extra 4$ for four little slices of burnt toast very disappointed and will not be coming back here.

Ive dined in at Oyster Boy, ordered takeout and also had them cater an event at my home. I highly recommend them for all of the above! Miguel did an amazing job shucking at our engagement party this past weekend.

I was at a wedding in Hamilton and it was so beautiful! The oysters and service were superb! I was so happy to see that Oyster Boy was catering. We had an outstanding shucker named Miguel, he was informative and knew how to shuck the heck out of an oyster. I was truly impressed as an oyster connoisseur myself. If youre looking for quality and service, look no further!

Oyster is good, other food not really.

Delicious oysters. Also had lobster bisque, red mullet ceviche, pickerel and scallops. Everything was fresh and incredible. The price was very reasonable for the quality.

I booked in advance for my wifes birthday dinner, and let me tell you, it didn t disappoint. Everything was excellent. Rachel s recommendation for the food was terrific, and Kingsley s drinks he brought out were fantastic. I will be back here again to try other things on the menu: 10 out of 10 oysters.

An amazing Toronto icon. Everyone needs to visit OB for the best selection of oysters and a delicious, perfectly curated menu of the seasons finest seafood. Great ambience with very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Best oysters anywhere!

Food was excellent, everything was fresh and delicious. Ordered the oysters, calamari and fries. Service was below average. Zero attention to detail and you could tell the servers are very inexperienced. We received an incorrect price for a special dish and they didn t bother to fix it. Wouldn t recommend if you want a nice night out.

Fantastic Oysters and the seared Scallops are fantastically cooked! The Mains are not large enough on there own but great for sharing.

Walked in 3 hours prior to make a reservation. Saw that guy writing it down on the board saying all good. Showed up same guy saying couldn t find the reservation. That s incompetence and unprofessionalism #1. Sat down with friend 10 mins in no drink offers nothing. Zero. That s #2. Ordered lobster poutine which is decent. My friend ordered the steamed mussels which are extremely tiny. 24 raw oysters showed up after we finished the main dishes. What a horrific experience. Definitely not fresh. Tasted funny. We finished half and I couldn t risk it any further. Never gave us oyster forks. Asked for the bill when there were still 10 untouched oysters or whatever those are on the dish. Same guy handed us the bill. Took away the untouched food and didn t even bother to ask how was everything. That s unprofessionalism #Z. Will never ever go back even if it s free.

Dear Oyster Boy Team, I am compelled to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which regrettably falls short of the expectations we had harboured for a long-anticipated visit. My mother and I, both big enthusiasts of oysters and seafood, looked forward to dining at your establishment, a place that had held a spot on her bucket list for many years. This particular dinner held significant meaning for us, being the first special occasion since her car accident, which resulted in numerous health complications. While the food was undeniably delightful, our overall experience was marred by the discourteous behaviour of our server. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via calls, we have received no response, prompting me to share our disappointment here. To provide context, I settled the bill after an enjoyable meal, including a generous $80 tip paid in cash. Much to my dismay, our server, in what I can only describe as an act of dishonesty, pocketed the cash without acknowledging it. Adding to the distress, as we were leaving, my mother, unaware of my earlier tip due to her memory loss, left an additional $40 tip. It was disheartening to witness such behavior, as it appeared the server deliberately ignored the fact that we had already tipped. As a fellow business owner, I firmly believe in upholding the highest standards of customer service and am disheartened when faced with mistreatment, which I neither stand nor tolerate in my own business. I sincerely hope that this feedback prompts a review of your service practices to ensure that others do not encounter a similar unfortunate experience. Best regards, Julie

Oysters were nice and fresh! Grilled tiger shrimps were delicious . I had squid with fries and cole slaw. Squid was a bit salty to my taste but everything was delicious!

My family went for my sisters birthday and it was her first time having oysters (she loved it). They have an excellent selection of both west and east coast oysters and their deep fried lobster is delicious! Our server was attentive and the ship-themed decor around the restaurant is fun.

A must visit if you enjoy oysters and seafood. By far one of the best Fish & Chips I have eaten. Staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely will be back.

Amazing little restaurant. The food was great, the servers were awesome. Shout out, John! As someone with an east coast background, this place felt like home. Great beers and drinks available as well. Would recommend to anyone who likes seafood and oysters.

Went here back in March 22. Was planning to pile on the food and eat like an bear ready to hibernate. Crab cakes, oyster boy fries and lobster mac and cheese along with some beer recommended by the staff.. all were great choices. Ill go back and order the same thing x2 for fatboy season to pack on the pounds needed to survive winter in the TDot.

Oysters are good, but on the pricier side for what s offered in the city. Go for the oysters, but if you plan on getting something else, you can definitely get better places for the same price point. We used to go for the mix grill, which is no longer on the menu, and have had sub par experiences since. Most recently we experienced extreme wait times for food (an hour and a half before receiving our apps). Overall, not terrible, but not great either.

Best place for oyster newbies.....

The food here was aggressively mid. Came in on a Saturday night for my anniversary and ordered the seafood tower and steak frites for $200 before tip. The seafood was not as fresh as it should have been, the crab legs and lobster were VERY DRY. It was as if they had been cooked prior and just sitting out. The oysters included had a bit of a bad aftertaste. The steak however was much better, the only downside was there wasn t much of it, only 5 or 6 cut pieces. Over all, probably would not come back here again.

One of my favourite places for oysters. Great, friendly staff and food. Relatively wide variety of entrees which was unexpected for mainly an oyster bar. Fries were great.

I give 4 stars to their Oyster and also their servers but 1 star to the food! I think their management has changed. The food was good prior to Covid but not anymore. I went in last week & was expecting to eat some good food like a couple years ago. We usually just go in for Oysters but this time decided to also order dinner. We ordered Fish and Chips and Shrimp tacos. I was shocked when I saw the colour of fried shrimps and fish. See how dark brown are they in the attached pictures. It was obvious that they cooked our food with burnt oil! When we complained about it, the server said its dark because of the spice! Like we never had good food before! The fish batter was not crispy and it was so soft like a wet towel. When we cut the fish there was water between the batter and the fish! The sever suggested to REFRY the fish if we werent happy! We said no! Definitely didnt want to have it refried in the burnt oil! We recommend having Oyster there but definitely not food.

Great quality oysters at affordable prices, great little spot!

We decided to have dinner here before a concert and were glad we did. The oysters and sauces were amazing as were the mains we ordered. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Really nice place and chill and hang out. Nice atmosphere and the service was impeccable . Im a big oyster fan and I can saw they were the most cleanest oysters ive had in my life.

Super fresh oysters

Sara was amazing at educating us re the oysters, and even put together a sampler plate to try. Service and food was wonderful and exceeded all expectations. Will definitely return.

Beach Angel oysters are great, that small amount of food tastes good, but the low rating is only for ridiculously small portion of main dishes & fries. Take a look at the last 3 photos, each main dish is $30 to $36 with that little amount. We have to go to another restaurant to fill our stomach

An extremely well run establishment. Food was excellent and you can tell the staff enjoy working there and want their customers to have a great experience. Best fish and chips I have had in Ontario. Adam was able to educate us on the oysters of the evening and give us a history lesson about the industry. I will be back very soon. Keep it up

We celebrated my husbands birthday at Oyster Boy. The owner made the dinner really special with a birthday oyster and pouring us a glass of sparkling wine. Service was great. Food was amazing. Cant remember what it is called but oysters with toppings were incredible (both types on the menu). Highly recommended!

First off ! Thank you to our waitresses Cloud and Madeline and the amazing chefs. My boyfriend and I came to Oysterboy for a well deserved Date night. And I cant tell you how happy we are after our dining experience. When I tell you these were the best oysters weve ever had in toronto, I couldnt be more in love ! The mussels were so big and full of flavour...the bread they serve for dipping in the delicious buttery white wine sauce is out of this world. The steak and frites were so tasty. The sauce served for dipping was wonderful too. Basically we cant wait for our next date night to come back and try more things. The desserts were also very good. Only great things to say ! We love you oysterboy thank you to all staff cant wait to come back !
