we pride ourselves on quality. Vegetables are all from local farmers when available. all of our meats are local grass fed and never use any hormones or antibiotics. None of the feed is ever genetically modified. all of our semolina used in our pastas both fresh and dried are non gmo from a small town in puglia called altamura. We prepare everything from scratch. Mamma Rosa and our team are committed to quality.
We had an amazing experience at 7 Numbers Danforth! The service was top-notch—our waiter, Nirma, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our evening special. The food was excellent, too. We were craving pesto pasta, and even though it wasn’t on the menu, the chef kindly made a delicious custom pesto pasta for us. The seafood linguini was also a hit, and the desserts were fantastic. Nirma even treated us to a couple of extra desserts, which was such a nice gesture. The pumpkin spice tiramisu was a fun and tasty twist on a classic, and the cherry cheesecake was divine. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy family-restaurant vibe. It was a bit dimly lit, but that added to the charm for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
Dropped in for a quick dessert with a friend today. We both tried the espresso martini affogato; the ice-cream was rich and creamy and paired very well with their espresso. We also tried the Nutella tiramisu and sour cherry cheesecake, which came out in little, cute jars! Our server was great as well!
Our first time at 7 Numbers was perfect! Such a cute spot with lovely servers! The food was incredible! Will definitely be back as I’m excited to try more things on the menu.
One of Danforth's best spots! It was an unplanned visit as we were looking for a spot to eat before a show. We walked in (but def recommend to make a reso) and they were able to accomodate us. We were blown away by the quality of their menu. The Burrata was just divine - i love Burrata as it is but the tomatoes and zucchini really elevated it. The Arancini is one of the best ones I've had... im a truffle girly and the truffle in this is the right amount (as per me). The Pennette with pesto, green beans and potatoes was amazing! One of the best pesto pasta dishes I've had. No joke - i think about it still. The Focaccia bread... i had to highlight this - it's one of the best breads I've tried. I love how its not bready at all but has a cake consistency which im here for. This is gonna be the reason I come back. The drinks were amazing and I really loved the Sparkling Lemon. Will have to try and make it at home.
We had a beautiful experience at 7 numbers. Me and my partner came in for a late dinner and we’re met with warm hospitality. Great ambiance and delicious pasta. Nirma was an attentive and great server. If I could give 6 starts for service I would! Thank you for making our visit perfect. We will come back very soon. Ciao!
Second time at 7 numbers and this time really ruined my experiences there. 1) service was lackluster. We had made a reservation for eight people and had asked if we could all sit at a single table. They had agreed to it. When we got there they had given us two tables of four. There was an available table of eight as well as another table that could fit 8 but only had two people sitting at it. When we asked if we could get the available table of 8, they said that it was booked for a family of eight. Why the other group was prioritized over us, I am uncertain. But also they could have just planned better and held on the other table of eight instead of sitting instead of just two people there. If I wanted to eat with just my family then I would have ate at home and not paid to eat out. Ridiculous. 2) food - we ordered Burrata, lasagna, rapini and chicken parmasiana. Everything was super salty. Burrata was ok. Nothing special. Lasagna was below average tasting. In fact, I've made a lot of lasagna that tasted better than the one I had here. The rapini was routine. And the chicken was horribly disappointing. Not just super salty but also dry. Overall it was very disappointing and the fact that we couldn't sit with the other family that we had booked with made the experience really bad. Unfortunate since our first time here was good
Generally speaking, I liked the atmosphere and the food. The highlight for me were the duck meat skewers. Good selection of wine as well. The veal dish was a bit too fatty for my taste. Overall, I’d say this restaurant is slightly overpriced.
Nice location and atmosphere. Great service. We thought the portions were big enough for the price. Cocktails for $12 and pasta for $16 in 2023 is fairly reasonable. The food itself was way too salty.
I attempted to have a business lunch at 7 Numbers, I booked a 1230pm open slot on Open Table. However, when arriving at the resto at 1225pm, their signage indicated they didnt open until 5pm. If they dont intend on honouring lunch reservations, why in hell was Open Table offering the time slot ? This was a major inconvenience as I had business associates meeting me at the resto. My eternal rating will be One Star as I wont darken their doorway in this lifetime.
Love this restaurant. Been here a couple times and it does not disappoint.
The food was good but the service was so so We did not order drinks so we were ignored a bit Food
I really like this spot. Food was fresh and service was friendly. Recommend the asabuco and red wine
The Maiale dish was extraordinary. Best pork chop I ve ever had!
Had the calamari and lasagna. Food was tasty, good portions and fair pricing which is extremely hard to find for Italian restaurants. I recommend this location
Delicious food and drink, love the small desserts! Get the mushroom salad!
Sangria on the patio is delicious! Thanks Shome!
Thank you for the great service!
Food was great and Shome and the staff were most hospitable! Will definitely be coming back!!
Just got a quick take out of tiramisu jar. Tiny jar. Good taste.
Enjoyed the family meal with a party of 6 people at a very reasonable price! The meal included 2 salads and arancinni balls, 3 pastas and your choice from the menu for the main course!
Great Italian food and amazing service
surprisingly shabby and poorly executed food. messy. rushed, pushy service. I wish it were better
The worst food!!! A 5 year old could cook better
The place is really nice, as well as the food, but one of the waiters was kinda rude telling me service is not included when I left no tip for one of the bills because we wanted to split evenly so left tips for the whole amount in a second bill. I was already telling my friend that she has to leave the tip for the whole bill and he interrupted me basically asking to leave a tip. He could have at least waited until we re done paying because what if we wanted to leave tips in cash. It kind of left me in a bad mood after even though food was so good. Questionable conclusion
So we couldn t get into our go to Greek restaurant and decided to try that restaurant we keep walking past 7 numbers. They were busy so we were told we could sit at the bar, which we actually enjoy so we can sit next to each other. Will served us. I have to admit I was surprised. This place checks the boxes. Cozy, good friendly service and best of all good food. This place must be known for their cocktails because I ve never a restaurant make so many and different too. Danforth is officially no longer just Greektown for me because I will be back here again. What a nice find!
A classic! Excellent food and amazing ambiance
This place has been around a long time, and for good reason. The food is delicious and service is excellent! Recommend the fresh pasta Trofie. It was perfect. Eggplant parm was delicious but a bit too salty for us. BUT since it s been around a long time it could use some renovations. It s looking a bit dated. Bathroom was sticky.
service was okay but the food was tasteless
Very fancy Italian restaurant with a great selection of traditional cuisine. They serve bread along with any main course you order. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and perfect for a date night. The service was really good and I felt my table was being looked after. My date and I ordered beet salad, pesto penne, and sexy duck. All very tasty dishes! Vegetarian options: Look at the pasta section for vegetarian options
We didn t know what to expect as we were going to a show in the area and need to pick a restaurant. Review seemed above average so thought we would give it a try. You have to know if you re going to a restaurant on the Danforth the buildings are going to be very old. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was cosy with candles on the tables lit even though there was no one sitting there. Good The service was appropriate to our pace, and the food was exceptional. Would not hesitate recommending this place to anyone. It took us back to our times in Greece and the appetizers and food were amazing.
A birthday dinner. The place has a straightforward dinner experience, simple chairs and sturdy tables. You get to watch the open kitchen or if facing away from the culinary magic the people on the Danforth. The food is fresh and made with top ingredients. The lobster pasta was good, linguini with shrimp and fried vegetables. It was layered nicely, but nothing special. The ravioli and gnocchi was a hit. Sexy duck is highly recommended. The sauce for both was very good, and the serving size was ample. Parking: The green P on the north side of the Danforth is recommended. Located on the side street, the lot has many spots and is easy to get to.
Don t get any seafood dishes, more specifically the lobster. The lobster tail on my pasta was tough and slimy and BLACK underneath. The calamari was also rubbery. I voiced my concerns about both and was given a refund for the calamari ($16) and was told that s the best they can do. I still ended up spending $100. The lobster tail was visibly not okay, the fact that they saw it and I still had to pay isn t ok and I won t be returning. Hoping I don t get food poisoning.
Good food and a great vibe here.
Had a great time at this restaurant with my usual group of friends Excellent service. We ordered the family dinners, which are meant to share per couple. Fantastic value, 3 appetizers, 2 pastas, 1 main, was $50 per person. The mozzarella cheese in the Caprese salad was home made, the pasta was home made, the arugula salad was fantastic, the mains were excellent. Everything was Well be back.
Loud but great classic spot with awesome food and respectfully priced
Amazing food, great atmosphere, visitors few times, honor miss with service. Some staff were great and helpful with menu and suggestions some were simply not helpful.
Cool little Italian spot. Great food and service. Took my wife and kids for dinner and everyone agreed well be coming back soon! Years later and still great Kid-friendliness: They offered kids pasta in tomato sauce, olive oil and parmesan and cream sauce. Also few reasonable menu options kids could enjoy like lasagna.
Incredible restaurant in fantastic food a Toronto institution
Apps were great (burrata and funghi caldo). The pappardelle with duck was good, but the duck didnt come through and pasta was over cooked. Steak and shrimp were tasty, but both over cooked. Wine was excellent and choices were good, the Negroni was fine. Overall a good experience but the food could have been better prepared.
Great food, service, warm cozy and ambient. Our server went over and beyond, my 11 year old was very happy with his accommodated Alfredo. Price point was reasonable, portions were satisfying. We will be back!!
Amazing food and great options.....mmmm totally going back! And the wine.....omg!
Our favorite Italian restaurant in Toronto. The menu features traditional favorites updated with modern ingredients, careful seasoning, and beautiful preparation. For example, the mushroom risotto is amazing. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient - the restaurant is typically quite busy. Over time, we have really appreciated the cocktail menu and engaging conversation with the bartender. Our favorite season for visiting is summer, of course, when its possible to sit outside on the patio, watch the city go by, and enjoy the seasonal flavors in the food. Highly recommended during any season.
More like seven appetizers...(small mains)
This was our favorite local Italian restaurant. We made a reservation on NYE and completely disappointed it was a set menu. The website, instagram or reservation booking did not mention a set menu. The menu did not have a price listed, no dessert included and the second serving was the only course with an option. While it was a lot of food we didn t enjoy the feeling of overeating, overpaying with little to no options for meal choices. We had dinner at 7Numbers last year and paid double for our meal this year. We will not go back on NYE or any other day. They should have been more upfront with their menu.
Food was ok. Nothing special. Got the linguini pescatore and the mussels were not cleaned well.
We did an early evening Uber Eats order of three 7Numbers entrées and two sides. The booking and handling of the order was good on a Saturday with delivery early in the promised time window. Obviously some of 7Numbers Danforth foods are advance prepared to plate and send out, depending what. The famed lasagna is tasty and comforting, I would still say the noodles are quite excessively soft for beginning of day and even for 21- texturally the dish would greatly benefit from more frequent preparation. It s such a simply tastefully prepared dish. Also the Pollo Parma, again keeping it simple but hardy and comfortable This dish is essentially just a piece of nicely dressed chicken breast, and it is excessively dry which implies Batch preparation from a previous time it seems not made to order which would vastly improve the texture. Still has merit as a solid reliable 26- entrée with good flavours. Will forgive the partially lumpy and mealy texture and even try order this again. The Icelandic cod puttanesca 29- was a surprise of smells and tastes, first ever try of this salty and fiery specialty. The fish has actually a beautiful texture if one can get past the unfamiliar pungent aroma and try to appreciate what this dish is. it s not one of the easygoing & subtle mains on offer at 7Numbers and I m glad to try new things. The sautéed rapini 9- and sautéed bacon-onion brussels sprouts Cavolini 9- were both great with the right degree of smoky-salty pan oil characteristics to enhance the veg texture which is right on point. These kindly folks have run Gio Ranas restaurant forever. famous meatballs. I will order from here again or visit, and I may also order from the far more recently opened Tulia at Greenwood and Queen for a few different choices and a little different styles approach, maybe less family more classic. Because we are right to love Italian. All of it
Awesome Food!
Lovely dinner with fantastic service. Our waitress, Natasha, was very attentive and friendly. Her demeanor and politeness toward my grandparents made for a delightful night. The meatballs are to die for
Just finished eating here. The food is excellent, we had a 6pm reservation, so it was very busy, but the service was great. Quite noisy though, but the bottomless sparkling water was awesome. I dont think you can drop in here, youll need a reservation.
My friend and I went to this restaurant tonight for their Winterlious menu. The food was delicious and our waitress Yelana was amazing. Definitely going to go back.
Never had a bad experience here, going all the way back to the OG space on Eglinton
Went for winterlicious. Food was good but I think their regular menu is much better than the winterlicious menu.
Great service and atmosphere. I liked the funghi caldo appetizer but the risotto was a bit of a disappointment. It was soupy rather than creamy and it tasted like the rice was cooked in water rather than with broth. I make it better at home. In the past I have enjoyed their lamb and the chicken parmesan.
Good food, nice staff. I will be back for sure. Went back couple times already. Still awesome.
Small portions for quite a high price; all sides extra money. Every dish is other super salty or overcooked. Didn t enjoy our dinner at all.
Been to 7numbers thrice - twice with family, once with friends. The space itself is so, so small, I applaud them for making it manage. The food and drinks are delicious, all South Italy dishes but the prices are quite high for the portions given. Personally, I think the max. seating capacity creates a cap on revenue per hour and it s creating an overpriced, good (but not out of this world) quality menu of small portions in an insanely good location. I would return, but only with family.
We wouldnt go back to this location. Apps were good, mains were not, presentation and flavour on mains were below adequate. Our server Steven was obnoxious and rude when time to order, we were picking from the chalk board, since the menu that was on the chalk boards was not the actual menu, we were told to look online, we frantically started to pull up the online menu to redecide what the 6 of us were having, asked what came with the arctic charge, his response was exactly what u see on the menu, we were a little shocked, we wanted to order our starters, he said no he would have to put our entire order in because there would be a gap between our meal, not sure what that means. He left and said ill come back in 10 minutes. He kept excusing his arm put over our heads as he was pouring water and wine. Time for dessert we asked Steven to read us the dessert chalk board, lets just say it was painful. After spending almost 600 dollars, we were less than satisfied. Thank you Vito, owner for your hospitality. But unfortunately these 6 greek girls will not be returning.
Wish there was a 10 star option. Hard pressed to find better lasagna (and calamari, my fave) anywhere in the city. Service is top notch and such a casual but authentic vibe. We love it. Shout out to Will, server extraordinaire!
I had a wonderful dinner with family. The food was excellent, and we received exceptional service from Victoria and Will. I will definitely be coming back here!
Loved the Linguine pescatore, and calamari appetizer was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend this place and the service was excellent !
Great Italian small restaurant with casual ambiance. Somewhat noisy bec of large 40th party beside. Excellent food esp the family dinner with 4 apps(3 salads plus calamari, resto selected) 3 lovely pastas to share and client selected individual main from the regular menu at $49pp. Portions were reasonable although we didnt finish the pastas. Attentive service. We would return, maybea weeknight instead of Saturday. We were a party of 6, we all liked our diverse mains.
Risotto reins Supreme. Mussels delicious. Place has been around for a minute. Always enjoy myself when i go. Service was A+
Food has always been delicious here but this week we met Shome (I hope I spelled that correctly) who provided stellar service and knowledge. A delightful meal on their patio. I recommend family style menu which is a set price with lots of food / you select your main. Drinks are great too. We had the fizzy lemon mixed drink and the spritz.
This Italian restaurant has an excellent menu featuring the classic Italian meal i.e., primo and secondo courses. My primo was a small penne dish in an aromatic marinara topped with almond slivers. Secondo was the daily special - a succulent 8-oz pork chop. I enjoyed the homemade fried jalapeno slices in olive oil so much, I purchased a takehome order.
What an amazing space. Truly authentic and the service was impeccable. We tried the caprese salad, seafood pasta, eggplant parm and linguini. Everything was excellent!
Delicious food. Large enough portions to take some home and enjoy the next day. The Italian white wine that we had was equally delicious. A bit busy and loud but worth it for the fabulous food.
Visitng from out of town and booked a table to have dinner with friends. First of all its VERY LOUD. Hard to have a nice conversation with people that you have not seen for a few years. Second the service was somewhat lacking. Long delays between seeing the waiter, and youd better have figured everything out and be ready to give the order in 10 seconds or less. Or he vanishes. Third, overpriced and badly cooked appetizer: $18 for a single piece of octopus and 3 shrimp, charred to hell and not properly cooked? No value or good taste here. Fourth, I ordered the duck. And thats what I got. A single duck leg swimming in some sort of dubious liquid with a few sodden greens. No starch, no vegetables. This is a meal? I would not recommend this place.
Lovely dinner after a show at Danforth Music Hall
Last night at approximately 7pm my friend and I after a meeting decided to indulge with the delicious fare of your restaurant. We had no reservation. I have over the years been to #7 many times with Family and Friends. Imagine my surprise and disappointment by being served two pieces of dried up chicken disguised by an over abundance of a tomato sauce. It was an insult! Fortunately the server was very courteous and apologetic. My friend was underwhelmed by her salty pasta dish. Mama was certainly not in the kitchen I do not no if I will chance your restaurant again. Disappointed
While I so wanted to enjoy our meal at 7 Numbers Danforth, sadly the food was mediocre. Specifically, everything was very salty, even the salad which I could not finish. The fish main was also overcooked, and the broccoli with bacon contorni was ho-hum. The service was good and the atmosphere was excellent, but we wont be returning given our experience.
Absolutely delicious
Love this place.
Fantastic. One of the best date nights my wife and I have had in a while. Great food and service. Linguine was simple yet flavourful and gave me the comfort feeling of home. Like someone in the kitchen made it especially for me out of love! Duck and lamb were great. The lemon cream pie and flourless chocolate cake were exceptional. Everything from start to finish was Fabulous! Thank you 7Numbers, you are on my list of favourite spots in Toronto.
Great Danforth Italian alternative with patio options and dim, romantic interior dining
So happy we discovered this place .Such a beautiful patio and such fast amazing service kind friendly and fun food was so perfect and great servings We will be back forsure Food : 5/5
Cool atmosphere and amazing Italian food! Highly recommended ;)
Inexplicably mediocre food quality for such high prices. The Caprese salad was below disappointing, the pollo parmegiano tasted like it was heated up straight from Costco. The service was good, though.
Service and space was great but I found the food salty and unexciting.
What an amazing restaurant. The service was on par and the food was amazing. This is a must try in the Danforth area of Toronto.
Amazing espresso martini, great patio, incredible authentic food with a homemade feel
My go-to when I m craving Italian comfort food. The lasagna is perfectly saucy and cheesy (albeit a tad salty), and never fails to hit the spot with a nice glass of red wine.
Easily my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto. Fantastic food, reliable friendly service, and history. The best! Editing this post after 7 years to update that 7 Numbers is STILL an excellent restaurant all this time later. We actually left a different spot last night after having a bad experience and ended up here, again, for the 100th time. Same ownership and same fabulous, authentic Italian cuisine. Owners should be proud to have the reputation theyve earned.
We recently hosted our engagement party at 7Numbers. It was truly more than we could have imagined! From the food to the service everything was perfect. Our guests were very well taken care of. They did not miss a beat.
Excellent service with Tom. Hes wonderful
A great authentic Italian eatery along a very interesting stretch of the Danforth, multiple funky bars ideal for the pre-dinner bourbon. My vote for 7Numbers was eventually confirmed by my Calabrian in-laws so no bias here. Laid back candlelit atmosphere with attentive service, a good deal all round, a nice respite from the Big Smoke rat race. Half the cost of King West.
7 Numbers is our favourite restaurant in Toronto. The food and service is incredible. The only challenge is trying not to eat everything on the menu! Our favourites are the lasagna, eggplant and meatballs. So good!
We are a local and come here about once a month. Very nice atmosphere, great with kids and wonderful food. We highly recommend to anyone.
Love 7Numbers, simple fresh rustic Italian food, great staff and atmosphere. Google make sure everyone sees this. Lol Food
Good wine and selection advice! Enjoyed meatball and arancini apps.
I love seven numbers I usually bring my dear friend who really enjoys the experience every single time !
Hands down this is one of my all time favourite restaurants. Amazing atmosphere, cozy, warm and bustling. Great food, having lived in Italy for a while, I find the food very reminiscent of my time there. Food
Best Italian in Toronto!
We find 7 Numbers a great place to dine for both casual and special occasion dinners. The food is delicious, the service efficient, and all staff are polite and welcoming. We highly recommend going.
I brought some friends with me just before Christmas 2022. I had raved about the food the owners and the service. As it turns out, my parents are from the same area in Italy as the owner. The food and flavours were just like Mammas. Truly. Both my parents have passed away, so a home cooked meal is highly appreciated. Love this place. Parking: Chester and Danforth Ave. easy to find paid parking.
Great food but a bit pricey. Music was very loud and it was very dark
I just love this restaurant. I can t stop ordering the calamari every time I go, and I have yet to find anything on the menu that isn t amazing. Mama Rosa and Raj execute so well every time. And the place has such a warm feel with a little excitement to it. If you haven t been, this is a must-go restaurant in Toronto.
Would be a great spot for a private special occasion: Dates, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Very good sauce Id have to say
Great spot! Dietary restrictions: Perfect. Food : 5/5 |
Had lunch with my son, very nice experience!
Absolutely fantastic Italian cuisine with a beautiful environment. -Large portion sizes. Food : 5/5
Excellent food and service. Lovely
Owner lashes out at bad reviews, and staff are rude with poor communication.
Staff were very Curt to me at the door I asked few questions one individual was dismissive another who may of been a manger answered my questions about the menu which was basically may I see one While she walked away shook her head like Im a bother , so I ate elsewhere ... Guess thats their attitude Just read the owners sarcastic attempt at deflecting the behaviour , fyi not all my reviews are Negative And as for the troll comment my word I will see you face to face when you reopen for you demonstrate refering to me in that manner in person see you soon !
I had a beautiful time on a date here more than a decade ago. Such amazing appetizers. We ordered about 15 dishes in total and we both had wonderfully sumptuous experience. We spent the entire time talking about how delicious everything was instead of getting to know each other. LOL! Im really looking forward to safely dining in again and trying the current menu. I give 7Numbers 7 thumbs up!
Not great food and quality. Service is bad too.. don t recommend at all
You can never go wrong at 7 Numbers - classic Southern Italian food. Some vegetarian options too. Everything here is delicious.
The atmosphere of this location was really great and the staff is incredibly nice. I went for a bday thing and stayed with friends until close. They also were gracious about letting us bring gifts, cake etc. The food itself was also good! (Homey) Not mind blowing amazing but was tasty and within price point!!
Chicken was good but pasta was mediocre. Great service but the food is a little overpriced for the portion and quality.
Excellent food and service.
Its ok
Cozy Italian restaurant on the Danforth. Nice staff. Great vibes. Not too busy on Thursday night. A bit salty overall. Missing fresh lemon on my calamari.
Owner is extremely rude. Avoid this place at all cost. He obviously has control issues and is very rude to customers. Made our dining experience horrible. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE!!
A wonderful spot. Great flow and menu. Always a pleasure to come here. Nothing misses.
Great meal and great serviced last week. I enjoyed the beet salad and grilled octopus-yum! My friend LOVED the lamb shank!
One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Toronto. Authentic Italian cuisine ,relaxed atmosphere, Friendly enthusiastic service!
We are regular customers. We return because of the great food, the great atmosphere and the fabulous people who cook and serve the great food!
Our favourite place to go hands down! Delicious food & wonderful staff
Excellent food and great service. Awesome specials
Fun and relaxed atmosphere. The best casual Italian restaurant on the Danforth. Food for the whole family.
I love Seven Numbers Danforth!!! Friendly service and delicious food with a great atmosphere. Can t go wrong!!!
We.found.the food delicious.and perfectly prepared. The restaurant ambience is great with very friendly service. Weve also had family birthdays on the patio here.
The food is Always excellent and the service, top drawer! They really go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure everything is perfect. I look forward to my next dining experience there!
Brilliant food and lively service. Must try !!!
I had take out during the lock down and it was excellent! All of it. Food, timing, value.
My favourite Italian place on the planet! Food is amazing, whether you are eating in or out, and staff are friendly and in the game. Look no further, 7 Numbers is the place to be when you re thinking of great Italian cuisine!
7 Numbers is one of my all time fav restaurants in the hood. Food is never disappointing, always delic, wine options are great and the service is impeccable. Love the ambience, both inside and out. Can t say enough
The smallest portions Ive ever seen in any country. At least, the prices should be lower. Also be careful when making an order - seems like everything is pretty fat. Though, the service is good.
We are huge fans of 7Numbers and have ordered take-out from them throughout the pandemic, usually as a celebratory or fancy meal. Their Family Style Dinners are such an amazing value and the variety you get is astounding - multiple appetizers, salads, side pastas and a main. Two dinners feeds us for at least two meals. Our kid adores their meatballs and the adults are partial to the duck. Highly recommend.
Simply beautiful !
This neighborhood staple is such a treasure! We eat there for special occasions. We do the family-style takeout at home (an incredible value). We buy the sauce to keep around. Definitely try it if you haven t. Everything is incredible!
It s the worst restaurant I ve ever seen. First, a waiter /reception doesn t care about you. Whether the service or food are good or bad. Second, their food is not worth it. I even got sick for two days after I ate their chicken breast. Has bad smell too. I m sure you don t wanna try.
Food was mostly good but far from outstanding and portions were small for the price point. There are too many fabulous dining options in Toronto to return here.
When I m in the mood for great Italian 7 numbers on the Danforth is always our go to - either for dine in or take out. When dining in we always go for the 4 course menu that gives you a bit of everything including their to die for fungi salad or veal lasagna. Coupled with attentive service and fun staff and you have a great night out.
Expensive, but the Lobster linguini was amazing to look at.
I came here by myself and I ordered the lasagna. To be honest I didn t think it was anything special. There wasn t very much sauce, the noodles were over cooked and it didn t have a lot of flavour. Reminded me of canned pasta chef boyardee. The service was great ! Server was at tentative and food came quick. Although I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. I ll be back to try other items. Since over heard amazing things from friends.
The bartender made a shockingly good whisky sour for me even though it wasn t even on the menu. Good Italian eats.
Service was very attentive. Food portions way too small for the price. App sizes were tiny like tapas - an attempt to bump up the visual size of the dish with wilted mixed greens is misleading. Pasta dishes are fair but any Secondi dish definitely could ve used more veg. Desserts too sweet to finish. Overall ok for a one-timer but for 50$ pp (+tip) I shouldn t be hungry an hour later :/
I will say the food was excellent. I was a bit disappointed when we asked to move out of the direct sunlight to a table in the shade but they said they were booked, I can understand that. The tables behind us, in the shade, sat empty our entire meal and 2 people came off the street and were told to sit anywhere.... Disappointed with that but again enjoyed the food.
Excellent food, excellent service, beautiful patio. Highly recommend!
I have been to 7Numbers twice and they did not disappoint! I went there this past weekend for my sister in laws bachelorette dinner and everyone absolutely LOVED their meal - from the drinks to dessert, everything was delicious! The staff there are incredible and so friendly and accommodating. This is my go-to Italian spot in the city.
When I heard that it was a traditional Puglinese (Southern Italian) restaurant I knew I had to try it. It was recommended by a friend who knew my father was from this region in Italy. I was not disappointed, the cozze (muscles) in a tomato and white wine sauce immediately brought me back to my childhood, it was beyond delicious. We also order the Funghi Caldo, the warm mushrooms sautéed with spinach and Gorgonzola cheese was a real treat, perhaps a bit heavy on the Gorgonzola, but I m a huge fan of blue cheeses. For dinner we shared the salsiccia di agnello, (lamb sausage) mainly because we were told they don t serve the lamb shank or lamb chops, which they are known for, on Sundays. That was a bit disappointing but very tasty none the less, and the Palmugiane con Sugo, a breaded eggplant dish smothered in mozzarella and Romano cheese and homemade tomato sauce. I m still salivating thinking about it. For desert we had the Tiramisu in a cup, I m very glad we decided to. The fresh basil and tomato s growing in reused tomato cans was a bit too rustic for my liking, but what the place lacks in decor, it makes up for in taste. I will definitely be back on the weekend sometime to try the rest of Mama Rosa s recipes.
So so good.
Terrible service and food. The standards have definitely dropped. The arugula salad was mushy and bland. The wild boar gnocchi was store bought with ground beef and tomato sauce. I ve made better pasta at home. 60 dollars so not worth it.
I wish I could gave it 0 star. The server was very rude. There was hair in our food, and surprisingly, when we complained, he just took the dish and didn t even applogize. The food quality was way far than I expected.
Really good food
Food is great but I expect better bread at an Italian restaurant
Good sized portions but disappointed that no soup or veal dishes
Omg the food was so delicious
If you have not been... where the hell have you been? This place is my absolute go-to on the Danforth. AMAZING food, great service, fine-Italian dining but with a very laid back vibe. Vegetarian options: SO many great vegetarian options... not like most places that just offer you the menu item with the meat removed... but for the same price. Kid-friendliness: They cater to families. My daughter loves it here.
We have been going to this wonderful little Italian restaurant in Riverdale and we usually sit on the patio. We always have delicious food and their Caprese salad is to die for, as is their Pollo Parmigiano. Tonight we sat on the patio, even though it is getting a bit cooler now and they put down the awning and turned the heat on. I wasn t expecting that and that to me was really going above and beyond. I recommend them highly.
Great food
Amazing food, service was excellent and very cozy place.
I had dinner here with my family after a couple of years away, and we enjoyed everything. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was attentive and friendly. I love 7 Numbers and always look forward to going back.
The food was very average in quality - the risotto was bland with overcooked seafood, and the duck tasted good but was a solid grey colour when it came out - not very appetizing. Overpriced for what you get. The service was fine.
Cute Italian restaurant on the Danforth. Not too busy, very cozy atmosphere. Great for date night!
Life-changing Italian food. Classics. Grateful for the vegan options.
My boyfriend took me there for our 6 months celebration. We ordered prefix menu. So much food and delicious. The tiramisu was one of best I had so far !
Delicious food and top notch service!
Lobster fettuccine was amazing!
Awesome service. Covid precautions in place. Delicious lamb shank, roasted cauliflower, meatballs and asparagus.
Was expecting better. Food was just ok. The sides were great.....thats about it.
Great place for Italian fare, the real deal. Hard to find anywhere else that offers a wild boar ragu, and the staff are great. Also amazing: had a dinner on the patio September 4th and not a wasp to be seen which is remarkable in T.O. for this time of year.
Food tastes mediocre and it s over priced for the portion. Great service tho.
Love the food. They cook fish, octopus just right. Many restaurants dont know how to cook seafood. Love the food
Excellent food, drinks and service.
A very lovely experience at 7Numbers. Order: Drinks - Dark & Stormy and Negroni. Both were very tasty but the D&S was exceptionally delicious! Appetizer - Arugula salad. Great dressing that compliments the goat cheese and roasted red peppers. Definitely recommend it. Pasta - Lasagna and Lobster Linguine. Lasagna was good but I cant compliment the linguine enough. It was a fantastic dish. I had to ask for extra bread so I could scoop up the sauce. Couldnt waste any it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience! Looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.
Food and service were spectacular. Hands diwn quality has not changed. Ambiance very welcoming and warm
