We came here for dinner with friends and had a lovely time! It truly feels like you are in somebody’s home. Our server was excellent, just the right amount of attentiveness, and very professional. The food was very reasonably priced. I got the beef cheek which was phenomenal. Wine selection is excellent. Ambience is cozy. Highly recommend for a romantic date night, hang out with friends, or family dinner.
Fabulous dinner out with longtime friends. Ordered the family style prix fix and couldn’t be happier with a great assortment of the best dishes, including: calamari, arugula salad, lasagne, cod putanesca, polpette. For dessert, the sour cherry cheesecake was perfection. Thanks for the hospitality as we loved having Tom as our server! Highly recommended!
I really like the food and drinks here. Most of their wines are not available at LCBO; they are brought in from Italy by the owner, and I think they are definitely worth trying. The food is delicious; every dish is perfect. Compared to other Italian restaurants, it doesn't have as much cheese, which I am very happy about. The prices are reasonable, and I will come back. Recommended: meatballs, mushroom salad, lobster linguine. We ordered quite a lot and were very full, so sadly, we had no room for dessert, which is a bit regrettable.
Back in the 90's when 7 Numbers opened I used to be there weekly, I very much liked the feel of an Italian eatery that welcomed us like being in Nona's kitchen. Moved away from the area and forgot it was there until recently when someone mentioned it. I took the family there because I hadn't been there in many years. Regretfully I can't say I'll be back, it now seems tired despite being in a different location. Service was fine, the wine was excellent. Unfortunately the food now seemed more like leftovers in Nona's kitchen and no longer fresh or creative. I hope they find their passion again
Beautiful warm atmosphere, loved the vibe of the real candlesticks throughout the restaurant. Our server was nice and very attentive! The grilled octopus was delicious, the lobster tail linguine was good but not that special. The Nutella tiramisu was to die for - must try this dessert! Will be back!
What a delicious Italian food! The pasta is fresh, the sauces and meat are super well seasoned and so tasty! The staff is extremely friendly and the ambient is a small spot that makes you feel homey and cozy! Will definitely be coming back!
Oh I love this beautiful intimate space. The staff are experts at their craft. They make you feel comfortable and loved like part of the family. The food is incredibly mouth-watering & delicious. I had leftovers to take home for lunch, and got to enjoy its splendor all over again. Wow! Mama Rosa's Lasagne is next level.
Went for dinner tonight. The space is so intimate, it feels very romantic inside and friendly. Both our service was excellent ( friendly, efficient, accurate) but the management came over to the table to say hi and check in on us as well. Food was hot and flavorful (and our server recommended these jalapeños in oil that I could top my meal with, frankly they could bottle that stuff up and sell it to take home and I would have ordered dozens). Between appetizer and entree didn't have room for dessert which is a shame but we left very happy.
Amazing clean delicious food
This is one of the GEMs in our neighbourhood. You feel the love from Rosas kitchen to your plate. Every plate is better than the other. If I had to choose my favourite I would say its the Osso Bucco and the Lamb shank. I mean it melts in your mouth ;) And Tom always goes over and beyond to make our experience even more special.
Wonderful restaurant with good food and friendly, knowledgeable service. The duck is fantastic.
We could not be more delighted with everything. The kind of place you know is going to be amazing because of the aromas coming from the kitchen. Looking forward to returning soon!
One of the best dining experiences I have had in the city. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable.
This is such a nice and fun restaurant. The service is awesome and very personable. Mama Rosa brings that authentic southern Italian cuisine. I d highly recommend this for a casual or group meal
The food here is always on point and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. 7 numbers is one of the BEST restaurants in Toronto. (Tim is also really nice guy :p )
Loved the lasagna
Always good quality and friendly service. I have been in more than a few times and order on Uber as well. The food is high-end and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend trying seven numbers.
Love. Tom is the best
Took a friend for dinner for her birthday and everything was outstanding! The food, the staff, everything. Will be back!!
Outstanding every time! Love the food love the service love the wine Could eat here daily!!!!
Come here all the time. Always great food and service!! Rosa next let s us down and Tom is the best waiter in toronto!!!
Had the rapini linguini, very delicious and could tell everything was fresh. Others I was with had the chicken parm and the lasagna. Despite being told they were known for their lasagna. everyone who had it found it mushy. The foccacia was hard. Everything else was delicious. There was a lot of thought put into the atmosphere. Candlelight, wine racks, and chalkboard. Moody, refined, but still relaxing. Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp was a little steep, but definitely manageable. Bathroom is inaccessible (down a flught of stairs) tables are very close together. was difficult for crutches, and would be close to impossible for a wheelchair
Best lasagna in Toronto!
The indian chefs are doing great,
Havent been in 15 years. Went back and its excellent. You have to have the meatballs!
Went here after seeing Rick Silver talk about it on TikTok. Had the slow cooker beef shank. It was perfect. One of the best things I have ever eaten, hands down. No knife required. Love that they left the marrow bone in with it. The broth had so much flavour. Great bread. Fantastic friendly service. Will be back again and again.
Great food! Great service! Parking: Green P behind the restaurant. Food : 5/5 |
It s a pity that we don t have 4.5 stars because it s exactly the note I would have given. We took 3 lasagnas, you can taste it s homemade with good ingredients, however it was not enough roasted and there still was a little bit of water coming from the tomato sauce that hasn t been reduced enough. The dessert (cheesecake) was good, it s an excellent idea to do small portion (and small price) especially after eating pasta. Overall the quality-price (28$ lasagna tip and taxes included) is more than decent, it s a good address. We will come back to try something else and to see if I maintain 5 stars or if it s closer to 4.
Pretty good dinner experience. Went early on a Fri afternoon (5:30) and got seated right away. Gentleman serving us was extremely friendly and accommodating. They didnt have the wine I wanted by the glass but opened a bottled anyway so I could try it. All the food ordered was very good from starters to dessert. Nice, cozy spot. Was quiet when we got there but got louder when it started getting busy. Will definitely return to try other dishes.
Amazing spot - our favourite date night place.
Love, love food! Grilled shrimp and meatballs were my favourite. Next time I will try lasagna. Service is very good and friendly. Will be back.
The hosts at this restaurant literally make you feel like you were a family member invited to a dinner at their house! For a small restaurant, this place packs in big flavour and huge portions! Now you know from all my other posts I love uploading photos but this time we were out with friends and wanted to be respectful instead of snapping photos. I ordered the lamb shank, which was fall off the bone soft! Packed with flavour and enough to not leave any room for dessert! The atmosphere can be hit or miss for some people as it is a much smaller restaurant with a lot of seating. You don t really feel congested at all but they do get really busy and usually have a full house so it does get really loud to where you may not be able to have a quiet conversation. With that being said, if you want to enjoy, eat, laugh, and have an absolutely amazing dinner and amazing time with loved ones, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!
Great staff, great food and great atmosphere!!!!!! Couldnt ask for anything more
Another amazing restaurant. Location was easy to get to. If you have to park that s another concern as there is not much parking close. The waiter and manager are just lovely. Good selection of wines and the menu spanned all the key Italian family restaurant. The lasagna was perfect for me.
Food is very good and staff great
It is very delishe delicious.cozy atmosphere there.
Food is DELISH. I loved that the kitchen is the first thing you see as you walk through the door. It s nice to thanks the chefs directly as you re exiting. The food was fantastic , the server was just absolutely lovely, and I love that I didn t feel pushed out to turn tables. They let us sit and leisurely enjoy dinner and company. And AFTER DINNER when my car battery was dead and I didn t have jumper cables, their chef Raj came to the rescue and gave me a jumpstart. What a kind group of people cooking amazing food in a really lovely little restaurant. I d come back in a heartbeat.
Over the weekend a large party including myself came to this location to dine. During our experience the arrangements we had made beforehand had various issues that were not within our control. The pre-fixe menu we were provided was not accommodated to all in our party, dishes were ordered without everyone present at the table, the underwhelming dishes were taken away without confirming with the guests if they were finished or not and inquiries about the drink menu were answered unprofessionally. As a result I left feeling disappointed and hungry. In the future my hope is for management to be prepared, organized and to openly communicate what is available at the beginning of the arrival to avoid confusion or disappointment, or to be safe consider more reputable restaurants in the east end such as la Vecchia or Florentia for quality service and food.
The food was delicious , the service was perfect , and really cozy vibe
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the food
This place is the real deal, absolutely amazing food and excellent service. I travel over a hour to eat here almost once a month. Everything is fresh and filling. The best little spot in the big city.
Great service, fair prices and always top quality food. Been a number of times and will continue to be a customer.
Great food, wine and service! It feels homey which I liked. Highly recommend the octopus!
The atmosphere is great the waiters are very friendly the is authentic Italian and family atmosphere
We came to this restaurant during our trip from Ottawa to Toronto. Everything from the food to the staff was amazing! Highly recommend this place for your next dinner.
Cozy, rustic vibes and amazing Southern Italian food. Our server, Tom, gave us the best recommendations for both food and drink. Great experience, can t wait to visit again!
Amazing food with amazing service. Their pasta is wonderful. Highly recommended!
We had our wedding reception there. Mama and Vito always go out of their way to make you feel like family. The quality of everything is top notch.
The Osso buco was a little fatty but the chicken, antipasto, and desserts (sour cherries ) were tremendous.
Great location, with a really nice patio out back. The service was excellent and everything was tasty. The calamari in particular was delicious.
Ive visited many many times with friends and family and it never disappoints. The staff are always so friendly and Mama Rosas food is the best! Definitely one of my favourites.
Excellent food and lovely service
Came to visit based on all the reviews and they most definitely did not disappoint. Absolutely yummy food that was also very filling. The back outdoor patio was great even if it was raining. Well be back!
One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined at 7Numbers. Thanks Rosa
An incredible spot! We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and they were welcoming and warm. Amazing service, and the food was delicious! Mama Rosa is amazing and sets the tone for the whole place. It feels like youre eating in her dining room!!
Found out about this place through summerlicious. Cute place, awesome vibes on the patio. The service was rather slow and the food was mediocre. I believe the point of summerlicious is to give people a taste of what youre about and to put your best foot forward with introducing them to your food, didnt really seem like the case here from my experience. The dessert was killer though .
Shout out to Natasha for outstanding service! She handled the entire dining area with ease, despite being short staffed on the day we visited. She stayed on top of everything, made time for conversation and did not show any stress. Having great wait staff makes or breaks a restaurant - hope Mama Rosa knows what a blessing Natasha is. Food was excellent - big thanks to this restaurant for offering summerlicious. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for an intimate dining experience with exceptional ambiance and food, this is your place!
Incredibly sorry to give this poor review. This place has gone way downhill. Prices outrageous for the portion size. Famous Lasagna is now runny and overcooked and mushy and way too salty. Horrible chairs and tables, spend money on comfortable seating. Service was horrible. The scallopini is not veal- but Baby Beef. Asked if if was tender and juicy? Waitstaff came back to say it was sold out. We were there when they just opened and there were only 3 tables of diners. I guess they knew the product was not good and it was better for them to say it was sold out. We left without having a main course. Went out for dinner somewhere else after our appetizers. $50 for 2 appetizer and 2 glass of wine. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. No accessible bathroom.
Really like this quaint little spot and their outdoor space is wonderful. Family owned and operated, the atmosphere is homey, welcoming, and the service staff are immensely friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The food is great with a wide selection of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails. Laid back but second-to-none dining with a familiar neighbourhood feel. Dinner rushes are busy, so best to call first and make a reservation.
Decided to visit based on current reviews and last several years ago. What a disappointment! Food was not at all the quality it was as in previous years pasta was either over cooked or under cooked, depending on type of pasta. The lobster and shrimp linguini was a disappointment overcooked lobster and shrimp, under cooked linguini. Lobster tail looked nice, but then when meat taken out it was embarrassing small about the size of a loonie. Our table of four all were disappointed pasta was not seasoned! Maybe they could salt the pasta water?
Had dinner here in a group of 5. The lobster dinner for $36, was frozen lobster tail, on spaghetti I cook better at home, with no sauce. Nobody liked their dinner. A waste of time to go there.
The service is really friendly, warm and unpretentious. Like going to an Italian friends home for dinner. Ordered the grill calamari, meat ball, pasta, lamb shank and the lemon pie. The Italian wine is easy to drink. We lived in New York City and New Jersey for years and had many good Italian meals. This is the best Italian restaurant we had in Toronto. Will come back for sure. So happy to meet the owner, Rosa, after our meal today. What a lovely, passionate and friendly lady! Her high spirit shines through the food she serves. Thanks for a lovely meal !!
Lasagna had too much salt for my taste, and they didn t have butter when I asked for it. Atmosphere is nice. Food
Cozy place, very good food and great service!
Food was great. Atmosphere was fantastic and the service was superb. Will definitely go back.
Had the Scaloppine Al Limone, thought the serving was a bit small.
What a wonderful place to have delicious southern Italian food. Great, friendly service by Tom and delicious focaccia, caprese salad, grilled shrimp, lobster linguine, cod puttanesca, and penne!! Everything was a hit
Im ordering this place as my last meal before I die.
Nice low key Italian restaurant. The meatballs are amazing.
Vegetarian options: Excellent! Food
EXQUISITE FOOD & SERVICE Made reservations for a group of 8 friends for a Christmas /Holiday Season dinner party here this past Friday December 8. Each of us immensely enjoyed all of the food dishes ordered. From several shared appetizers to our individual main dishes. Everything was so fresh and heavenly delicious. Paul our assigned waiter was very hospitable, attentive, and catered to our every whim. Paul delivered impeccable service. Owner/Chef Mamma Rosa operates a top notch Italian restaurant. Specializing in authentic tasting, southern Italian flair, all prepared from scratch with quality ingredients. Reasonable prices, generous portions, great service, and cozy atmosphere. Mamma Rosa definitely has the Midas touch to satisfy your palate. Recommend: Calamari Fritti, Osso Buco, Lasagna, Cod Puttanesca, Polpette, Flourless Chocolate Cake Ciao da Maria & Rosa (Amici di Massimo Bruno)
I cant say enough amazing things about this place!! I came here with about 30 people for a dinner on my wedding day and they were SO accommodating and helpful. They opened the restaurant early for us and kept in contact with me while I was planning, answering all my questions and suggesting ways to make things easy. Thom was an absolute gem, and kept all the guests laughing. He was entertaining and hilarious, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Paul & Rosa and the whole kitchen were so kind and fantastic, and the food was UNBELIEVABLE. From the ambience to the staff to the food everything was just lovely. Thank you all again, Ill be back :)
Came here on a Thursday night, but there was literally nobody but us. We got the complimentary bread and it was cold so we asked to get it slightly warmed up but the server refused to. I found that to be kind of rude and odd I d expect you d want to accommodate your guests as much as you can so that they can have the best possible experience at your restaurant. We ordered: Lasagne ($13.75) - plain, nothing special. Braised beef shank w/ bone marrow ($28) - small portion, quite disappointing for the price. Assorted fried seafood ($26) - only thing that was mediocre. Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing experience. I was hoping for it to be better since the reviews seemed great. I ve tried far amazing Italian foods in Toronto and won t be coming here again :(
Love this place . My now wife and i went there on our first date. The Food is magic !
12 May 2022 birthday dinner Startes: grilled octopus and shrimp on the grill - absolutely delicious, and we both had the lamb shank, grilled zucchini and breaded eggplant...drinks were prosecco and sitting pretty light pale ale servers were a dream and the food was lovely always enjoy coming here...
Booked a reservation for dinner on their patio, and I cannot give enough credit to the staff at 7 Numbers Eglinton! The patio itself is quiet and comfortable, and definitely a go-to spot in the neighbourhood. Their selection of ingredients for their dishes is fresh and tasteful, and their menu and wine assortment gives plenty of variety depending when you go. Tom, Rosa and Paul were very delightful from the moment you walked in, and from offering stellar recommendations to incredible hospitality (along with plenty of laughs), you will be glad to have popped by this hidden gem. Highly recommend!
Probably the friendliest and most attentive service in the city (or at least in the top 5 for those who think Im exaggerating). And the food is also right up there at the top. The lasagna is unique and wonderful. Ive never had anything on the menu that isnt superb, and that includes the desserts. They do everything well. Meat. Pasta. Sides.
Amazing, tasty, fresh home made down home Italian cooking. Fun atmosphere and caring staff. Mama Rosa makes you feel like family.
7 Numbers is our go to restaurant for fantastic, friendly Italian food. The menu is not huge, but varied enough that it offers something for everyone, even those with food sensitivities. The quality of the food is excellent. I highly recommend 7 Numbers.
We had a big group and the owner was so attentive. Recommend dishes are so delicious and will definitely come back. Plenty of parking near the restaurant.
This is my favourite local restaurant. Rosa always greets everyone with a smile. Im not sure if she ever leaves the restaurant! The rest of the team there is amazing and friendly. The service is top notch. And the food is authentic, simple and delicious! Nothing fancy here, just amazing Italian food, made and served by wonderful people. Best red sauce in the city, in my opinion. And two great patios to boot (I prefer the one in the back). This is a regular for both dine in and take out. Love it.
One of my favorite local restaurants. Always consistently delicious with top notch service.
Consistently our go-to for the BEST Italian food. The meatballs are outstanding. The pasta cannot be beat, salad is delicious. We have enjoyed every dish we have experienced.
Mama and her gang serve up delicious homestyle Italian fare in a friendly casual environment. We have eaten there and also gotten takeout. One of my favourite neighbourhood restaurants.
I don t know how the calamari is so delicately battered, but I can t get enough of it. The veal lasagna is also superb. Love the comfortable space of their resto - but will pick up or order in too for a crowd-pleasing at home meal. You should go.
Best fried calamari I ve ever had. And mama s welcome also makes u feel at home.
Wonderful food wonderful staff wonderful Mama Rosa !!!
Beyond any doubt this is a gem of a restaurant. For sure, best cultural cooking experience in the neighborhood. Over many years, I ve seen people come in for an authentic Italian meal and leave as friends with the chefs, the servers, the super friendly kitchen operations guy, and the chef owner. They re as good as the food is! The outside patio has a lot of character too. Cheers.
Amazing food and service.
Went here for our wedding anniversary, and the restaurant dining experience just made the occasion that much more memorable. Dimly lit ambiance, intimate, quality and satisfying home made dishes (prepared by and/or under the direction of Rosa), calamari, Rosas special lasagna, cosce danatra, ossobuco, Polpette di Rosa, and topped off with a nice bottle of Ripasso della Valpolicella. Of course gotta have the roasted jalapenos in olive oil dip. Tastiest spicy dip Ive ever had. Supporting the Small Business
7 Numbers is always delicious! Food is amazing and staff is completely awesome. We have been eating there for 15 years. Rosa and Thom are the best!
True quality in ingredients. Can t go wrong! Try meatball, lamb or lasagna. Yum.
Love it!!!!! Been going for 20 years and still my favourite in the city! Unassuming but always excellent.
We love 7 Numbers Eglinton which is just down the street from our home. It s a funky fun place with excellent staff. It s been very helpful through COVID that they have a back patio and a few tables right on Eglinton. We particularly love the lamb shank and the lasagna. Yum! If you haven t been, go!
First time here and definitely won t be our last!! Amazing service, food was unreal and the patio was so cute & cozy. Both servers (Mr spills & the young lady who were there tonight on July 1st) were absolutely amazing and made our time here extra special. This will definitely be our new go to place on Eglinton. We can t wait to come back!
Always a delicious meal at 7 numbers!
Wonderful food great service. Best lasagna in Toronto. And Tom provides amazing service.
First time here and so pleasantly surprised. This visit will not be our last time!! The meals, the servers, the ambiance and the service surpassed our expectations. Thank you!!!
Hands-down the best restaurant on Eglinton. Fabulous Italian food in an unpretentious atmosphere!!!! Vegetarian options: LOTS of veggie-friendly food. Kid-friendliness: They made food specific to my daughters taste!
We celebrated Mothers Day at Seven numbers. My older daughter has lots of allergies and since they didnt have gluten-free pasta, the owner called Rosa, and she came down personally to cook my daughter an incredible allergy-free risotto with duck that was delicious. We have eaten at all of the locations including the one at Picton, and it is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants with some of the most authentic Italian food. We would recommend all of the locations to everyone who loves Italian cuisine. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for appetizers and main courses. Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate all of my daughters allergies. Kid-friendliness: It is one of my daughters favourite restaurants to eat in and take out from.
Its a cute go to Italian spot for lasagna! Rooftop patio was nice and heated enough. I ordered lasagna and it was delicious... but missing something.. still Very delicious either way! Ill be going back to try other things on the menu. Id definitely recommend and Id go back.
Love the non-apologetic, authentic Italian. Food is great, all of it so dont worry about that. The staff are warm and inviting, making the experience really feel familial (the good kind). The joy comes through in the flavours and the smiles... It feels as though they cook to feed your soul as much as your appetite...the way Nonna wants it. Cant wait to see you soon.
Excellent
As good as ever!
Lovingly prepared Italian which highlights the ingedients without overpowering. Our favorites are the linguine, wild boar gnocchi & lamb shank. Its a little outside our hood but we make a point to swing by on a regular basis!
I used to come here a lot many years ago and i thought it was good - now its way better! Fantastic authentic great tasting dishes!!
I love this restaurant! I have no words for fresh handmade pasta, well-paired wines and joyful service topped with great jokes. It doesn t get any better. The owner is also super nice. I LOVE the sardines with tomatoes sauce (not too many bones), the linguine with rapini and the lasagna. Please go here... often!
It s not worth the money specially their calamari. They just give you really small portion it s not even enough for one person. And the taste is not that great...I think it s the worst Italian restaurant in Toronto.
Always the place to be with 2 locations midtown. This one is original one and the pasta is always made fresh. Cant go wrong with Italian food here.
Great authentic Italian restaurant! Our familys go-to restaurant when were in the area. I would recommend trying the burrata and lasagna dishes from their menu.
7 Numbers is an exquisite Italian restaurant like you find them in the heart of Tuscany. The flavours on your plate, which are brought to your candle-lit cozy table by the fantastic hosts (Tom!), are beyond compare to other Italian places in the city. Here you dont just eat, here you take your time, truly dine and massively enjoy! Rosa and Raj are the best chefs who prepare your high quality meals from the bottom of their hearts. 7 Numbers on Eglinton has a lovely small patio in the front and in the back now, so treat yourself to some of the best Italian food youve tasted outside of Italy. You wont regret it!
Love their pastas and risottos. Craving some more especially when we can dine in at the restaurant.
Only had lasagna here...several times. It is so good!
Delicious! Had takeout. All ingredients tasted beautifully fresh!
Covid patio in th back own beautiful. Food is always delicious and service is on point.
Been going there for as long as I can remember..not a traditional approach, but if its for you....WOW!
Great classic Italian food. Great patio. Fantastic people.
The food and service are nothing but impeccable. Happy to have this as our local Italian spot. Mama Rosa knows whats she doing and how to keep your belly full.
A very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere, excellent service and the food selection is not only wide but tastes fantastic, no matter which plate you order.
1st time ever dining at this restaurant. Incredibly awesome menu and friendly servers too. Prices very reasonable.
LOVE the lasagna here !!! It s amazing. It s all I ve tried and I can t try anything else because I ll miss having the lasagna. Also the greens are a delicious side.
This place has a nice ambiance and a good spot for a date night. With that said, I accidentally came an hour early for my dinner and they still sat me which was great. (Pro-tip: make a reservation beforehand). The server was very courteous in making me feel ok while I was waiting for my friends to arrive. I will say that he was a bit overwhelmed and perhaps it was because we came on the day the new mandatory vaccination check came into place, but he forgot to check our vaccination status (which we were all fully vaxxed so it wasn t an issue). Otherwise he was great. The menu wasn t super extensive, which was a bit disappointing and the amount you get for the price you pay was also a bit disappointing. It was still decent, but not amazing.
The lasagna is delicious. The salads too.
Excellent service, delicious lasagna, who could ask for more?
This place is alright - service was great, very quick. Had the family menu and it wasn t bad - if you re looking to shake it up a little I would recommend. Big enough portions
I always love going to 7 Numbers Eglinton, to introduced friends to this seem like Italian homemade foods , Service nice and foods delicious , love the romantic Atmosphere, calamari, Agnello Brasato ( Lamp shank ) soft juicy. Meatball s yummy, sexy duck legs tasty treats plus salad . High recommended
Delicious, fresh and authentic Italian food. Loved that Mamma Rosa was cooking the food.
Rosa, Tom, Paul, Raj, Ruben, et al are amazing. Food is the greatest!
Had dinner at Danforth this week, Hadnt been in a year. Appeared to have new owners and staff? Food and wine VERY overpriced and awful service. Small portions that are not flavoured well. Tiny salad of just bland greens for 9$. Will never go back again. Couldnt make a 7 or 7:30 reservation even though the place wasnt busy. Seems to be all about the money
I always enjoy coming to this restaurant. Great food and service!
My friend and I had a really great time at 7 Numbers. Great service - staff was very kind, and delicious pasta (always a good idea). Looking forward to my next visit!
Nice restaurant. Great service. Amazing lasagna
The best.
Amazing Italian food with a lovely atmosphere. Great service and homestyle vibes, you won t be disappointed!
Yummmmmm
The service was spectacular! Really! You guys impressed me with the level of attention and care. 10/10! What disappointed me was the ratio of quality to the price of food. I paid $26 for the seafood linguine and there were 2 tiny scallops and 3 shrimps. Not good value for the money in my opinion. Grazie on Yonge, in contrast, offers better value for the money. Their prices are lower as well. My wife liked the gnocchi she ordered, but there was no promised gorgonzola cheese. She could not taste it. The organic wine, on the other hand, was fantastic! She loved it! Calamari appetizer was DELICIOUS! Overall, a mixed bag of FANTASTIC service and mediocre value for the money when it comes to pasta. Next time, Ill go for pork chop or lamb. Im tired of gluten and carbohydrates. I prefer protein + veggies and some legumes.
Busy place! We ate here on Valentines Day - my girlfriend and I came in for a weekend escape from Toronto. Pleasantly surprised with this quality home cooked food. Really nice find in Picton! Try the eggplant! Wow!
I loved this place. Mama Rosas friendly face was front and center in the kitchen, greeting you and saying goodbye as you left while cooking up a storm. I felt like I was in a familys home kitchen, except with a nice restaurant ambiance instead. The food was fresh and delicious, service was great, and prices were really reasonable. I would recommend it for sure if you want some italian food.
Reliably delicious authentic food!
Excellent service and tastiest pasta ever. Highly recommended. Definitely a 7Numberslicious!
Great food and service. One of the best spots on Eglinton West. Try it if you havent already.
Great atmosphere. Authentic food. Fantastic dessert options. Friendly staff.
Always friendly. Always delicious. A staple restaurant in in the city. You need to try this place!
The food was not good. Calamari was not crispy, the lasagna noodles were not cooked fully (the server said everyone wants the crunchy bits? I didnt know people like uncooked pasta) the service was subpar at best. Our server said he wished I was the gay couple down the street (Im straight and came with my girlfriend). Then clearly played favorites with the table across from ours by giving them more plates I didnt see on the menu and just better attitude. Wouldve been a one star but the hot oil & the back patio make up for it.
Amazing Italian food!
Its such a treat to have a great restaurant like 7 Numbers as our local go-to place. The dishes are tried and true and thd flavours are deep and rich. I love the sardines and the ossobuco
Great food
Ordered take out delivery during Covid! Not only was the transaction seamless, the food was excellent! Veal Lasagne and the mushroom spinach salad! Next best thing to being at the restaurant! Thank you Vito and Mama Rosa for an excellent dinner out! Will order again! Bravo!
This place is delicious! Recommend for sure..... Usually a wait if after 7..... Authentic home made Italian food..... Talk to Rosa cooking in the front as you walk in!
Delicious! Friendly and very attentive waiters. Love the place, cozy... for the price the portions are great.
Its ok
Fantastic food and wonderful service.
Amazing food so much better then other authentic Italian restaurants.
Its the most authentic Italian Ive found in the city. Family-style, home cooked, Italian mama (Rosa). The staff are very friendly, gracious, and welcoming, with great personalities. Feels like home.
If you are looking for the home cooked meal vibe, this is the place, otherwise, there wasnt anything that wowd us in particular. Summerlicious menu has small portions wasnt spectacular in any way. I would recommend going with the normal menu instead. But the waiter was the best and that is the redeeming factor here! He was fun, easy going and attentive.
Staff are brilliant food not bad either !
My sister in law had her rehearsal dinner there, The staff was lovely, and the food, delicious. We had a wonderful night..
Best Italian in the neighborhood
Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. Always a great meal!
A colleague recommended this restaurant and it definitely lived up to its hype. Their food was amazing, great ambiance, and nicest servers!
Staff were so warm and welcoming, foo was delicious!
This place is great. Start with the lasagna, work up to the sexy roasted duck. Our waiter Tom was a great guy, well be back.
Always good
Food is fantastic. Mama Rosita is so amazing.
Charming decor and ambiance, great service, reasonably priced and wonderful food! The lamb shank was amazing! I ll be back for sure!!
Great Italian home style cooking
We went because of the reviews, but the food was terrible. The tomato sauce tastes like it came out of a jar, the focaccia dish looks like a loaf of bread that they toasted and put the same salsa over and the gnocchi were paste. An expensive disappointment.
Best lasagna in the GTA.
After walking past for a number or years finally had the opportunity to go in and what a pleasure it was. Friendly ambiance, great service, outstanding food at reasonable prices! Well worth the wait! Bin appetite!
Simple beautiful menu. The family style service/menu never ends and you never want it to, except you do wish you wore something with much more room around the midsection.
This place is a family favorite. The service is excellent and the food is even better (authentic and delish). Love that everything can be done family style!
Its always excellent, try the pork chop and the lasagna.
Outstanding local Italian restaurant! Great calimari, lamb shank and wine choices!
Good italian food, wine also very good!
