22 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5J 1C4, Canada
Restaurant/Sports Bar/Event venue located in downtown Toronto just steps from Union station and main hotels. Located next to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Tonight, I visited The Bottom Line in downtown Toronto, hoping to enjoy a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the unprofessional and dismissive behavior of our waitress, Sydney. Upon arriving, the hostess warmly welcomed us and seated us quickly, and I noticed that the other waitresses working tonight were very friendly and attentive to their patrons. This made Sydney’s attitude stand out even more in contrast. When I asked about ordering a pitcher of beer, Sydney mocked me with a condescending remark: ‘This is the financial district, we don’t have pitchers.’ I found this unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I ordered two pints instead, but her attitude soured the experience from the start. Throughout the evening, Sydney was inattentive and disrespectful. She rarely checked on our table, avoided basic courtesy like smiling, and made us feel like we were a burden. We had to ask the hostess to send her over so we could place additional orders. When we finally ordered two more pints of beer, Sydney only returned to offer the final bill, unprompted, showing no interest in providing continued service. At the end of the night, when we decided to pay in cash, she frustratingly asked if we wanted change. When we said yes, she returned with a bowl of coins instead of bills, which felt like a deliberate attempt to inconvenience us further. This experience was deeply disappointing, especially since the rest of the staff created such a welcoming and positive atmosphere. I would recommend that the management have a serious conversation with Sydney about her behavior, as it does not reflect the high standards of service I expected from this establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve future experiences for other patrons.
1st time guest. As someone who lives and breathes sports, this was a treat! Arrived a tad late for food, but watched the World Series, Leafs and Habs games simultaneously. Coors Banquet bottles (and far cheaper than Toronto prices) was a great surprise. Fave bar beer. Can't fathom any previous reviewer going negative on the service as it was perfect. Chelsea the hostess was terrific: prompt, attentive, and smarter than a tree full of owls. The tender was very attentive too; didn't wait one second for service, despite a reasonable crowd. Dozens of TVs, all league standings posted, and you get a genuine vibe of the regular customers' love for this place. Wish we had this in Oakville. Hope to make it back downtown again soon; will make re-visiting a priority. Keep up the great operation.
Took my mom to her 2nd annual meeting with her old college friends and yeah had a blast some of them went on to be TV personalities if you live in The GTA you've seen someone there in TV Before. One is a hockey hall of fame member! So yeah great food nachos were dope and 4 double martinis a bloody Ceasar 6 pints and calamari for 100 bucks not bad especially in the heart if Toronto. Will be going again after a baseball game for sure this year dope place attractive people! Attentive and experienced staff... looks like inflation missed this place I was shocked by the fact it was so... well, inexpensive compared to a bar in like Pickering or Whitby. Great for a date and nice atmosphere very loud however not ideal for kids or people with anxiety that haven't yet mastered the art of accepting it and everyone has anxiety it's a fact of life... but not for those who are bothered by loud noises
Came here for a ChelseaFC game. Disappointed that CFC lost but the experience at The Bottom Line was great! Service was a bit slow to start but I understood that The Bottom Line opened up earlier than regular hours just for this event. Staff were friendly and were really trying to get things out in a timely fashion. Food was 4/5. I had the Toronto Special, which was on their CFC menu for the morning. We also got nachos, wings, and an onion tower. Both were good, I felt like the bread for the avocado toast needed to be a bit crunchier, and maybe some cheese on there! Overall, would go back for another CFC game! Hopefully they’ll win next time!!
Food - The food was only OK. I ordered the warm mushroom salad and it came with no dressing on it. Once I was brought the dressing, everything tasted OK but not great. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and he said it was also only OK. The two friends that were with us ordered a chicken Caesar salad, as well as a hamburger. everyone agreed the food was just OK. Nothing really that special. Service - The servers were all very polite and friendly. However, there were a lot of errors between not getting dressing, bringing us the wrong drinks, forgetting things. So the service was a little bit troubling. Ambiance - The ambience was suitable for what it is supposed to be. It’s a sports pub and it looks exactly like that. It was very busy right before the leafs game so it had good energy. Bathrooms - The bathrooms reminded me of being in Europe, but not in a good way. They are so unbelievably tiny, which could be manageable however they looked. very dim and not overly tidy. Plus they were extremely cold. I am aware that they don’t have a lot of space to work with, but they could still spruce up these bathrooms. Other - The margaritas were pretty delicious so I have to give them credit for that. Plus they’re not an extremely expensive place considering it’s Toronto.
I actually don’t even want to write a review because this place is sort of like, a best kept secret?? It’s the PERFECT spot to grab a bite to eat before the game. Most people usually get off at Union and head west towards the bars down that way… but if you just go a little further east, like, a 5 minute walk east… Here lies The Bottom Line. And man oh man, have you found your new sports bar. Very spacious, so they fit lots of people and tables in, some standing room, a bar area and a dining area, clean washrooms (can’t speak for the men’s but the ladies is always very clean), and most importantly: delicious food. I’m usually a creature of habit and get the same thing every time from restaurants (if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, amirite?) but I always get something different here because I truly have never ever been let down by the dishes here. This past time I had the wrap, it was great! I got chicken in mine and they LOADED it full, super tasty and filling. I’ve also had the tenders, burger & sliders. All absolutely fantastic (that burger was NO JOKE!). We always get calamari to start, it’s always perfect and the garlic dip they serve with it is delightful! Definitely recommend making a rezzo, the place gets pretty dang busy on game night!
Came with work colleagues for a meal after event. They did a set meal with 4 choices and apps. I got chicken schnitzel and it was huge and tasty. All my colleagues enjoyed their meals Guacamole was tasty and bocconcini & tomato was perfection.
Visited Bottom Line with a few friends, had reservations so we were seated right away. Our waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable. Would’ve gave 4 stars but found it unfortunate that the venue ran out of ingredients to make pizza during an event night (basketball game). Vegetarian main options are limited. A really nice sports bar nonetheless but menu can improved. Not rushing back to visit, will have it as a backup option.
Stopped in for a beer while walking through downtown. Place looked clean and service was excellent. Would definitely stop by for food nd. Longer stay the next time.
So overpriced... Would avoid
I love the bottom line! The crew is attentive, friendly and HOT!! Always a good time <3
Food was ok but we had several hairs in our Nachos mixed with melted cheese. Kind disappointed.
Great place. Not much to say. Love it
Fantastic place.
Went here to watch F1. Cocktail was very good.
Great service. Ran like clockwork! Great selection of drinks Food
The food and drinks were great! We had a group of 8, and we all had a blast!
Attended the season 18 premiere of Murdoch Mysteries
Dont order anything but beer and whatever they are good at (hopefully wings or sliders). I went 10 years ago or so and it was awesome. Its pretty gross now. Dont order the whipped feta. My mistake it was so gross. The service was pretty bad too. Cocktails were pretty bad.
Fun sports Bar with great staff!
Stopped by here for food before a show at the Meridan. Ordered the Korean chicken sandwich with fries and wife got the chicken strips. Its Toronto front street so obviously overpriced but oh man, what they gave us for the chicken strips was atrocious. We arent picky people in the slightest but they were rock solid dried out ans blackened. $20 for this and without a side ! Even mine sandwich only had like baby bowl of fries with it. Only reason they got 2 stars was because the server thankfully took it off and she was really nice. We were respectful to the staff but maybe work on being less stingy on the food when youre charging so much and watch whats being given to customers.
Yesterday I visited Bottom Line for the first time and had an overall enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was lively and perfect for watching the game with friends. The food was good, with a wide selection of classic bar favorites and some unique offerings that really hit the spot. Most of the staff were outstanding, providing attentive and friendly service that added to the fun vibe of the place. However, I did have an unfortunate encounter with the female bartender I believe named Amanda, who was quite rude and inattentive. To make matters worse, I witnessed her yelling at another staff member in front of customers, which was unprofessional and awkward to witness. Despite this incident, I would still recommend Bottom Line for its great food, lively atmosphere, and mostly excellent service. Hopefully, management can address this issue to ensure a consistently positive experience for all guests and a safe work environment for its staff.
Took over 30 minutes for a pizza, fries, and salad
Went there last week after work the one filipino bartender was great! And recommended good food, thanks
I cant rate anything other than their opening hours. Tried to go on a Saturday at 11 to watch Olympic soccer final. Employee arrived a minute or so past 11 and didnt say a word to me. Saw employees inside and lights turned on, but door remained locked. Gave up at 11:17
Disappointing. I wanted to go there for more than 3 years. From the outside you can see the historical looking part of the bar with jerseys but the rest of the inside looks like any sports bar. The food is bland. Lacks taste. The price is ok but still, I recommend you go elsewhere.
I ordered a California wrap with chicken that was supposed to be a healthy meal. However, it was so greasy in a way the oil was leaking and dropping from the wrap! It was not good at all ..
Disappointing through and through. Firstly, their nachos plate portion was tiny (had it earlier this year and it was much bigger) and when I asked to order a second plate the server told me they were out of nachos still full price on my bill. Asked for waters for the table and nothing ever came until having to ask again 25 minutes later - the restaurant is boiling hot inside, the server mentioned while we were paying our bill that the AC hasn t been working for a few weeks.. Food quality overall is horrible, greasy and excessively oily for every dish we ordered.
What a delicious margarita. We will definitely be back for this margarita. The chicken was good. Nachuz was also delicious. The service was respectable and fast.
Went here for the Euro 2024 final. Sadly England lost but the bar was great. Great atmosphere. Excellent choice of beer and good bar food.
I rarely post reviews but I spent 40$ at bottom line just to get foot poisoning from their Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Definitely don t recommend
Came here for a business lunch today. Loved the atmosphere and welcoming energy of the staff. Food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. Briefly met the owner who is a great guy and makes you feel appreciated as a customer. I dont know what they make that house ranch dip with(gotta be illegal), because it was the best Ive ever had at any bar. Might be my favorite bar/restaurant in the city so far. Ill always come back whenever Im in town.
My coworkers and I came by last night for a quick drink. It s our first time here and the atmosphere was great! The bartender told us we were sitting at the best seats in the house . Her service was fast and amicable. Would definitely come back for the service and killer hornet pizza
A 0 /10. Terrible place. To avoid. Service is horrible. The server was so stressed and so rude, it was unbelievable and then they charge 20% tips without asking you directly on the bill crazy never saw a place that bad! Avoid there are many around that are much better!
Quiet during the day but I could see this place hopping at night. Nice long bar looks out over Front street. Lots of TVs all over and positioned at good angles. I think I like this place
Terrible food unfortunately and the service was literally ok. The staff seem to be running around
too noisy for any meaningful conversation, too many screens, limited quality of drought beers, standard menu. low Q/P
Solid spot, but foods nothing to write home about. Don t get the wings.
Nice inside, but food is not great for what they charge. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Do not order nachos. Small portion for $20 and barely anything on them. Bathrooms are dirty. Would not recommend this place.
3rd time here. Great spot before a Leaf game but we have not been impressed with the food. Chicken fingers were recommended but they are really tough.
Food was great. Our server wasn t the best and it was very loud but still nice.
Great spot to catch the game on TV with friends after work
Tasteless burgers way too much sauce couldnt even eat the bun because soak with orange sauce never again
Came here for a birthday dinner and everything was great but just popped in tonight and Nabina (spelling?) at the front was absolutely delightful and I really felt she deserves the call out!!!
Just happened to walk past this place, we came in for a drink and the bartender Alisha was great so we stayed for a few. Would define recommend!
Good vibe before a leaf game, however, would not order the pizza again. Crust covered with TONS of raw flour, texture too crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, and honestly just not a tasty pizza. For drinks and vibes would recommend!
instead of tipping, a service fee on every receipt. seems fishy wayne
The food is ok but its far from fair pricing. I paid $20 plus a mandatory tip for five measly chicken fingers and store bought wild wing buffalo sauce on the side. Incredibly steep pricing for the portions.
Came here for lunch and had the blue and white burger with French fries. Great environment friendly staff.
Great service food atmosphere
One of the best sports bar in Toronto. Specifically, this one is home for us Chelsea fans in Toronto but not only that the level of service is also great. Servers know what they are doing and continously check on you. Despite being busy at times during the live games, the drinks come out fast, food is good too, tried the Fish & Chips, Wings and the Burger. Their breakfast is also nice, recommended for an early morning live matches. Shawn, the bartender, Navina the hostess and all the servers deserve a notable mention. Sorry, I still havent remembered all of their names but the vibe is good.
Love to visit an ol work spot. Hope all good Wayne
Great food. Great atmosphere! If youre coming on a weekend it might be a little bit busier. Otherwise its not too busy. They have yummy drinks. Hamburgers are great. They dont really have a healthy menu, but if its winter you got to load up for the fat that you need to carry in Canada. Enjoy the drinks. Enjoy the food. Have a great time
I love the vibe and people, sujan is awesome server Keep it up!!
Wayne and Elizabeth are the best and the menu is incredible.. had the blackened haddock on lunch special and it was incredible Never disappoints Always surpasses
Great wings. Service was great. Great place to watch sports. Highly recommend The blackened cod and the haddock. Cooked to perfection. Food : 5/5
Food is not worth the price. Terrible service: bad attitude and sloppy service
Food wasnt great....seems they ran out of seasoning
Awesome spot in DT Toronto, super close to the Scotia Bank Arena and very friendly staff.
Staff decided to close up at 9PM, Friday, Jan 13, when they were advertising on here open till midnight. What a joke. Amateur hour.
Wanted to try somewhere new in the area, and we (2 of us) decided to try Bottom Line for the first time before the Raptors game. Reservations made from their website (simple), hostess (Jacky) who called to confirm was very polite, and we had to move it twice, as we were running late. We were seated quickly, and immediately greeted by our server (Ali). She made our first experience amazing at Bottom Line. Came by multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was good. Very attentive, and was even concerned that I was not happy with my beer, and offered to replace with a different one... I was just drinking it slow. Refilled our water without needing to search and ask. She was friendly and conversed with us, which made it more personable and warm. She was always visible in case we needed anything. Food was great, and filling. New found bar for us to definitely return.
First time visiting from the UK and had a meet up with 40 or so people. Everyone was so accommodating and the entire evening went so well. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is amazing - I highly recommend the cheeseburger and try the jalapeño ranch! And the atmosphere is just fantastic. A must visit for any Leafs fan. Thanks so much guys!
We had a great time at The Bottom Line - we visited for lunch before going to the Hockey Hall of Fame and enjoyed the game jerseys and sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant. As my son s and I took a walk through the restaurant to look at all the cool memorabilia the owner, Wayne, introduced himself and talked to us about hockey for several minutes. Later as we ate he came by and autographed a picture for each of my son s and was asking about their hockey teams - it was the highlight of the day for them for sure! The food was great, service was amazing - we ll definitely be back and highly recommend!
Super Bar
Great place to hangout with friends, family and hockey legends. Great for watching a hockey game: either pregame drinks before watching in person or staying at the bar to watch on their many TVs! Food is not the greatest but you don t come here for the food!
We recently had a dining experience here and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The portion of protein vs bread were poor leaving us all feeing hungry! To make matters worse, the food lacked any sort of flavor or seasoning, making it quite bland. If you want to eat bread alone this is your place to come. To top it off, the prices were high, making it hard to justify spending so much on such a small amount of food. When I attempted to provide feedback to the staff, I was met with indifference and a clear lack of interest and with the bill. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The poor amount of food, bland flavor, high prices, and lack of customer care make for an unpleasant dining experience. Save your money and try a different establishment! We will not be recommending nor coming back here again
My boyfriend and I went there for lunch. He had the pizza said it was the best he has ever had. I had the steak, which was delicious and well spiced. Our waitress was Ally I believe her name was, her service was exceptional! Highly recommend
Nice atmosphere and good food
Underrated. Excellent sports bar!
Good food, good service. Experience overall was very good. Close to ammenities like Hockey Hall of Fame.
We had a great experience there for my sons birthday party after the Hockey Hall of Fame. Feeding (and catering to the demands of) twenty 8 year olds is no easy feat. The team at Bottom Line were a pleasure to deal with, whether over email before the event, or during our lunch. They gave us a huge table in its own section for the kids to sit at and had the food ready shortly after we arrived. They made sure every child and adult had what the needed, with a much-appreciated level of urgency. And the food was delicious. Overall a seamless experience for an anxious mom with 20 starving boys :)
Brought my son to town to watch the leafs game. Fast and courteous service. The drinks kept flowing and the nachos and wings were awesome!!!!
The staff was friendly enough, and the experience was pretty standard for a sports bar, until the mouse ran across my sons foot and under the seat bench across from us. We politely mentioned it to the staff and she told the owner who came and moved the furniture while we were eating to have it scurry out and across into the main section. His reply was hes on the chase. They offered us free dessert, which we didnt order. Wasnt the ending to our Hockey Hall of Fame day that we were looking for. Nice people though. Our server was really freaked out about the mouse, as were we.
First time going after hockey hall of fame with the kids. Pizza a main spot on their menu and they were out of pizza at lunch time. This was lunch time on a weekday. Also a heads up they offer a free kids meal with receipt from hall of fame, but they have no kids menu.
Excellent service and atmosphere. Enjoyed the night
Good place
Excellent place to visit
Very nice place, good food and beer.
Coming off the high of the Hockey Hall of Fame, we were hungry and walked right into this pub. Our server was really friendly and on the ball. I had a margarita, no sugar, and a bacon cheeseburger. Both were very tasty. The burger was amazing! Juicy and thick, with fresh veggies and bun. The patty was just beef, and.... yum! The fries were ok, though I prefer them a bit crunchier. Very delicious meal.
Overall a good sports bar to catch a game. Our waitress was super attentive all night, despite it being very busy. The food is average. we had the Nachos, they could use more cheese and guacamole. I also had the chicken club, nothing special. Drinks were a bit expensive
Great atmosphere with very clean facilities, delicious apps and entrees. Ale, our server, was very friendly and professional she had handled my tables request as well as others during the game 5 leafs v lightning madness. Highly recommend this stylish spot right beside the hockey hall of fame and down the street from union station.
Unfortunately I did not get to experience this place. I placed a reservation a week before for Saturday May 6th. I received a phone call the day before my reservation telling me my reservation was canceled because they are closing that day because the Toronto Maple Leafs game was changed from Saturday to Sunday. I was bringing my family and grandkids to Disney Animation down the street and then go to the bottom line took me 2 hours to try and find another place because it was short notice. Their website shows opened on Saturday and closed on Sunday. I have never been to this restaurant and I never will. Not very good customer service, greedy owner.
Great place for out or Country fans to watch Hockey! Cody/Cory was a great bartender and a Huge Caniac! Close to Hockey HoF! Wings are amazing!
We attempted to eat and drink preshow. There was a special function on the restaurant side and the bar side was standing room only. We went to the show hungry but were able to have a drink there. We came back after the show and the place was almost empty so we were able to eat and drink. So for atmosphere...either packed or empty. the place looked like a hurricane ripped through it as the remnants of the function still remained for the most part. Odd placement of TVs for a sports bar-made it difficult to watch the game. The food was meh. Very forgettable. Sounded great on the menu which is why we chose it in the first place. The basics were there and the presentation. But there was no depth to the food, no love, no signature. It didnt scream that I absolutely had to have these again. The greeter and server were very polite and efficient - not memorable.
We celebrated my sons birthday lunch here with 10 of his friends! The owner was so accommodating and lovely. We ordered group food platters and they gave us a party table. The owner signed autographs for our party members! We also visited the hockey hall of fame! A great birthday party day ! Kid-friendliness: They were so helpful with our kids birthday party!
Unforgettable Experience at The Bottom Line - Wayne and His Stellar Team Deserve Five Stars! Rating: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Bottom Line, Toronto s classiest sports bar, and I cannot praise the bar owner, Wayne, and his exceptional team of hardworking bar staff and servers enough. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the experience only got better from there. Wayne, the bar owner and a former NHL alumni, has truly created something special at The Bottom Line. His passion for sports and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience for patrons shines through in every aspect of the bar. Whether you re a die-hard sports fan or simply looking for a great place to unwind, The Bottom Line exceeds expectations. The bar staff and servers at The Bottom Line are a testament to Wayne s dedication and leadership. Each member of the team demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and genuine warmth throughout my visit. From the moment I walked in, I was promptly greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. One aspect that truly impressed me was the level of care and attention given to each guest. Despite the bar being busy, the staff never made me feel rushed or overlooked. They took the time to engage in friendly conversations, recommend dishes and drinks, and made sure that I had an exceptional experience. The Bottom Line itself is a haven for sports enthusiasts. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, with large screens displaying various sports events, creating an electric atmosphere. The bar is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in the sports-themed decor adds to the overall charm. Wayne s dedication to showcasing NHL alumni memorabilia throughout the bar adds an extra layer of authenticity and excitement. It s a true delight for any hockey fan to be surrounded by such rich history while enjoying a drink or watching a game. The passion and love for sports are evident in every corner of The Bottom Line. In conclusion, The Bottom Line, led by the passionate bar owner Wayne and his outstanding team, is a true gem in Toronto. Their dedication to providing a top-notch experience, along with their hardworking bar staff and servers, make this sports bar a must-visit destination. Whether you re a sports enthusiast or simply looking for a classy and welcoming atmosphere, The Bottom Line will exceed your expectations. Wayne and his team deserve every bit of recognition for creating an exceptional establishment.
This place is amazing one of the best places Ive been to in my 38 years of life! Such great service great food and the people that Ive met are now life long friends including cowley the owner is amazing :) another friend Ive made :) if your looking for a sports bar look no further, bottomline is the place to be!!!!
visiting from scotland, best bartenders about! all sports, all laughs great time thanks to Kobe and Diana
I did not have the food but the service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for after work and to watch sports.
Cold beer before a concert. Was busy and food looked good. Great service! Service : 5/5
Excellent restaurant and bar! The restaurant has nice coverage of sporting events, while you sit back and enjoy the food and drink. Im looking forward to my next visit. Very friendly atmosphere and nicely run. Great job!
Right next to Hockey Hall of Fame. Food was good. Better Signage outside could bring in more customers. Very, very limited choice menu Parking: Parked at Brookfield for Hockey Hall of Fame and had lunch here after. Empty
Excited to grab a bite to eat at Bottom Line before the Herbie Hancock concert at the Meridian Hall. I hadn t been to Bottom Line in years and recalled a positive experience back then. Well, what a disappointment. Our group of three was seated next to a large work team that were loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate of our space. Continuous bumping into the back of our chair was annoying but we let them enjoy their fun. Service was great and the waitress was attentive and provided some recommendations. The food was just mediocre and the value was poor. Tacos had no flavour as shaved beef seemed boiled. Arugula salad was drowned in dressing and the chicken tenders were the size of popcorn shrimp as were the beef sliders which just outsized the toonie coin. Sadly, the star of the meal were the onion rings and dips. Three quasi mains, a salad and appetizer with three drinks for $175 inclusive of taxes and tip. Bottom line avoid the Bottom Line unless you like overpaying for mediocre food. PS - The concert was 5 stars and saved the night!
I adore
Delicious food
I stopped in this iconic sports bar with a dear friend. I had the Reuben sandwich it was delicious. Our waitress gave us incredible customer service.
Went before a game, wasnt too busy (yet!) and it was a good time. Portions were a bit smaller than expected but drinks were strong and we had fun.
Good atmosphere for an after work meetup
Food was freshly prepared, good quality greens in my side salad, and very tasty! Portions could be a drop bigger, but the prices were reasonable.
We stopped here before heading home. The restaurant is right beside the underground parking. Bonus! We were greeted with a smile. Our waitress was friendly and offered us water right away. We just ordered our drinks right away instead. When we were offered refills but declined the offer, glasses of water were brought to the table. One of us did ask for a refill on iced tea and FYI iced tea is not unlimited refills. The food was delicious!! 5 different meals were ordered and there were no complaints from anyone in my party about flavour. I would definitely eat here again. Parking: Underground parking right next door.
The calamari was excellent, fries were solid as well. My mothers chicken was a little bit burnt unfortunately, but all in all still a good experience. Definitely looking forward to trying the beers next.
Overall really good experience. Food was delicious and the server was nice.
Went a couple of times drinks are okay nothing extraordinary. Their fruity drinks could be better.
What a fantastic place to get a good meal. The Irish waitress was amazing. The fish and chips were perfect. Highly recommend.
Good place to watch a sports game, but I do with they had better food options for people with dietary restrictions.
Great staff... Many drink options... Food looked great
Very friendly staff and good place in downtown area
Great bar, yummy wings at downtown Toronto. Good spot to chill after a game
What kind of bar closes early on a Friday night after a baseball game? 40.000 people getting out after 9 pm and they do last call at 10. Asinine
The wings are to die for!!! In fact, all of the food I ve tried here is amazing. Fantastic staff and incredible owners. Located in such a convenient spot for concerts & sporting events. May even bump into some sports alumni on the regular. Highly recommend!!
Group of 20 booked for a rugby match that we were told was being shown.. to then be told 20 minutes before the match was starting that it wasnt being shown.. after drinks were bought. Very very disappointing. Will not return
Good sports bar very close to union station.
Good food & beer, great service after show at Meridian.
Good staff
Food was absolutely terrible. 6 medium sized wings for 20 dollars. The roast beef on the baguette bread wasnt even toasted and the meat was dry and awful. Looked like a sandwich from a vending machine. Staff was great amazing, good service, but DO NOT order food.
Came in for a pint and some wings after work. Nice place to hang out and watch some sports. Excellent service from our server Lauren. So personable and attentive!
Their wings really are some of the best in the city! And it is the ultimate soccer/sports bar in the downtown. Always have everything on.
This was a great time! My boyfriend and I went before a leafs game, the bartender Dennis was super nice and very helpful! It was insanely busy in there and we didn t seem to wait at all for anything more than a couple minutes. Highly recommend going here!
We rented out the bar for a 3 day work event. The staff is incredible to work with, flexible, and went above and beyond for me and my team. I want to give a special shoutout to Diana and Sean who were looking after us last night. They really helped make our event special. Highly recommend this bar and working with their team.
I recently hosted three events at the Bottom Line and the process was seemless, from reserving the space, to ordering the food, and day of service- the whole experience was incredible. We had the opportunity to host in multiple different sections of the restuarant and each one offered a great atmosphere and tentative staff. On our largest night, our server Diana was so on top of getting drink orders, and taking away dirty dishes, at no point did I look around and see a guest without a drink in their hand. It felt great to be so taken care of. On the other nights Lana and Sean were both very tentative to our needs and were eager to accomodate us storing our signage and being able to answer all of our questions. We have already booked our next event with The Bottom Line and you should too!
Good food and drink spot pre and post ACC
Great location on Front St. However the food is awful (with the exception of the onion rings-they were great). My friend had the warm mushroom salad which was bitter and gross. He sent it back and had the roast beef on a baguette which was just as nasty. Bread was pale white and overall just distasteful. Beer was good and service was fine. Go for a drink and eat somewhere else. Or just have the onion rings.
Wayne and his staff are the best in Toronto. We never miss stopping in for a great pregame or pre concert meal!
Great service, great atmosphere, close to Union. Chris all the boxes for an after work watering hole. Having more options of beer on the radio would have been nice, but they do have some staples, so not bad over all. Dint try a lot of food, but the few appetizers we did try were good. This was the only place that had some space out of the 8 places we tried on a weekday game night.
$20 for 6 small wings that were simultaneously over cooked and cold. Would not recommend
A nice sports bar. Bit upscale
Would not be a repeat customer. First off, three of the chairs at our table were broken. Service was very slow even though it was a Friday night and not busy at all. Two vegetarian options- however one of them comes with a Caesar salad (not vegetarian). I asked for no bacon on the salad and they gave me just pure wilted lettuce and no croutons. Worst salad I have ever had at a restaurant. The serving size was so small I was surprised it was an entree, definitely not worth $21.
Starting to think most of these reviewers are friends with the owner .Personally me I would never come back to such a disgusting place again and wouldn t suggest it to anyone the food is horrible but don t worry the roaches/rats there will help you finish it the washroom stinks of piss just overall horrible experience they seriously need a health and safety inspector there immediately!
Wayner runs a great place
Great service, great atmosphere. Lives up to its claim as Toronto s classiest sports bar.
Great place for drinks before the game but the food was just ok.
Food was good service was excellent well mannered girls Hospitality whats great thank you for the good time
Great pub & restaurant for a cold beer and nice quick meals.. Loved my salad, great portion and tasty... all fresh....
Irish server was very friendly!
The place is double in size now of it used to be. Pretty cool vibe with live sports reporting, people going to concerts and some working on their laptops. Very friendly service. A bit slow, but just like everywhere got to pack your patients as there is not enough staff. The food pretty good, I would call it an upscale bar experience.
Good food, good service, comfortable environment, and a great patio. Perfect place for an after work gathering. All staff were awesome, with special shout out to Shay. Will definitely become a regular stop from now on
Great food and beer selection. Solid and expanded menu with personable service. Wayne runs an iconic sports entertainment bar and pub right around the corner from the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The fish tacos were delicious! The vodka was pretty tasty too
Went for lunch. Quick and efficient service. Friday lunch downtown is not as busy as it used to be.
Awesome place. Awesome owner. Steelers legend.
Awesome place and has an awesome atmosphere. I highly recommend it. The service was exceptional and the food was great. Great place to watch the game :)
It was nice and service was good
Good vibe - service and beers
Servers were great, beer was cold and not to busy
This is my favorite downtown restaurant! Food is delicious, price is great, the service is always the best. The owner always comes out and greets people. If you havent tried this gem you are missing out
This is a great spot to watch all the sports and the food is great. The best part is that they also have a patio right in the heart of the financial district.
This is the perfect pregame sports bar. Downtown has a lot of choice, but surprisingly few as casual, sports oriented, and proximate to Scotiabank Arena. I ve also taken my little guy who is under 5 and they ve always been so sweet to him. The owner even took time to sit down and chat with him about the hockey game and gave us some tips for his first game. They also take resos, unless they re booked for a private event (which happens), so you can call ahead and get a table without too much trouble (other sports bars don t do really do that for small parties downtown or they get booked up quickly).
Busy location and good service.
Nice people! Clean
Absolutely amazing. Every time I come it gets better and better. Lovely atmosphere and the food is to die for! My compliments to the chef!
Very good
Incredibly rude staff, mediocre drinks and the lights on full blast all evening. Honestly wouldnt even bother coming back to give it a second chance. Should have just stayed closed after lockdown
Decent place, but it seems like they couldnt decide what type of place they want to be. Atmosphere is lacking because of this.
Nice sports bar in downtown Toronto friendly staff and great food too
Please consult Kevin Thompson
Hoagie was meh, fries cold, no QC check, sat with beer empty for 15 min while staff flirted behind bar. All during leaf game. If Mgr was working then owner not on the pulse. Left for another place to watch remainder of game. Too bad as Im visiting from out of town and walked 15 min from hotel for good sports bar experience.
Good spot for a pint before a leaf game
Excellent Service
Great spot for after work hangout! Lauren was our server and she was amazing. Very friendly and made some good food recommendations. Drinks came out speedy fast.
Great atmosphere.
