CopaCabana Brazilian Steakhouse - Uptown in Toronto

We visited this location for a friends birthday. The service is super slow and the food is disgusting. Not worth $85/person. Dont waste your money coming here. The best part of the night was the DJ and the grilled pineapple. Everything else was really awful.

I was really looking forward to dining at CopaCabana, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Despite ordering 6 sauces, only 2 were brought to our table. Over the course of two hours, we were only served 3-4 small pieces of beef. The server carving the beef with cheese inside consistently skipped our table, which left us waiting far too long. When our server eventually informed us that our time was almost up, we explained that we were still hungry since we d barely received any beef. Only then did they bring more to our table but by that point, it felt like too little, too late. For the price and the promise of an all-you-can-eat experience, it was definitely not worth it. I expected better service and a more attentive dining experience. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. And the music is way too loud, we have to yell at each other.

Not the same after reopening - the vibe has totally changed and it was not a pleasant experience. Quality of the beef is definitely lower than it was before they closed, the buffet is gone and the side dishes are tiny (not enough to share with the table). Wait staff were good but the service was slow and the meat servers came less often to the table, plus despite a reservation earlier in the evening when it wasnt that busy, we had to wait while they made us a table. In terms of ambience, the new table arrangements and decor do little to dampen noise, and the volume of the music is too loud to be able to have conversations comfortably (and when the dancers come out, the volume is ridiculously high - an assault on your ears. Ive been to clubs that are quieter). There was nothing exceptional to make up for the shortcomings. Kid-friendliness: Definitely not kid-friendly.

Amazing servers who are genuinely trying their best. It s clear the company doesn t provide enough staff. Now for the service. It took over 30 min to get my side, 20 mins to order any drinks and receive it. As stated, I understand the server were short staff however, people are paying 80+ dollars for their food and should be getting their moneys worth. Especially during the holiday season. And it seems like they only respond to reviews that give them five stars, which is weird cause how are you supposed to improve?

I liked this place for food and atmosphere and it was fun but the carvers didnt seem to care very much about where drippings ended up. My friends dress got covered in meat juice and my winter coat is now covered in Grease stains. I tried to wash them out but it didnt come out. Taking to a dry cleaners next. Hopefully my coat isnt ruined.

I have been here plenty of times, and its always the same issue with having reservations and still waiting 20 min to be seated and up to another 30 minutes just for our sides even on a busy day..I dont t feel its worth the gratuity that they charge so much extra, the food is pretty good but the service is not worth the wait..m.overall 1/10, decent food but customer service and appreciation is horrible! Id preferre to not return!

Took my dad for his 70th birthday celebrations tonight with my husband, brother, mom and 2 year old. They had something for everyone! Service was excellent, very attentive, I actually like that they take our side orders to avoid food waste and they also were very accommodating to my allergy. I still had a lot of yummy options and everything was great quality, wonderfully seasoned, and the meat quality was also better than anywhere else weve tried. My 2 year old loved the Samba dancers and they also were so kind to him and let him dance! We all enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. Thank you for making our evening so special and a night to remember!

Mandatory 18% auto gratuity is on every bill. Service was super slow, slow to clean tables, slow to get drinks (10+ mins) on non-busy nights. If tip wasnt mandatory, I definitely wouldve tipped lower, and I come from the restaurant industry where my standard tip is 20%. If there wasnt a mandatory auto-gratuity added, I bet every server would have an extra jump to their step and actually worked, instead of chatting and walking around without a sense of urgency.

Group of 10 went there last night for dinner. We had a reservation for 930. We didn t get our table until 10:15, and they didn t seem to care or apologize and I m pretty sure if we did show up in time for the reservations we would ve had been charged. Then we get seated in the bar area along the window, very tight space and cold for the people sitting along the window. Our waitress did a great job with the drinks as for the meat service it was terrible!!! They would always show up to the table with only a couple pieces left and would always say they were coming back and never would. There was a lot of meat some of us didn t even get to try and only until one of the member of the group said something to the manager, the meat severs started to come around more, but even then it was late and only a couple things mostly just pineapple. We spent a lot of money on drinks which were good, but I would have to say I don t think anybody from the group would ever go back there again and recommend it to anyone. Huge disappointment

We came here for a birthday dinner for a friend. Saw a bunch of hype on social media about this place so decided to go. First off we booked a reservation for 6:00 and we re not seated until 6:30. We put down we wanted a booth and the manager kept trying to convince us to switch to a table instead. Clearly they overbooked themselves. When we were sat at our table our waiter brought over cups and water for us. The water cups were dirty with lipstick stains on them. We asked for clean cups and the server rolled her eyes and seemed to be annoyed by that. The places atmosphere has a very cheap vibe to it and looks like it was thrown together. The service was not the best and with the mandatory 18% gratuity we were very disappointed. We thought that if it wasn t mandatory than the servers would actually do a better job. The only thing that is good here is the steak. If you like medium rare/rare done steaks you will love it here. However one of us wanted a steak done medium well. Every steak that was given to her was medium rare or rare. They had a selection of chicken options as well. Forget those. Every piece of chicken that came to our table was pink. Even the waiter looked at it and said it was not cooked. Forget the selection of appetizers on the menu. We didn t receive half of them until later in to our meal. The Ceasar salad and Garden salad looked like it was thrown together by a toddler. The mashed potatoes tasted raw and like dirt. No effort put in to them at all. The spinach dip was very mid and not worth the half hour wait for it. The entertainment was great however the girls outfits were a little too revealing. Seemed like more of a strip club uniform. For the environment of a Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant the girls could have been more covered up. When we received our bills half of us were paying cash. If you decide to pay with cash don t expect to get your correct change back. All together we were cheaped out of $2.30. Not that it really matters but it seemed very unprofessional when the manager who was taking our bill was doing mental math and just throwing random change back at us.

Everything was great food wise, flavours, cooked to perfection, side dishes but the service was slow, the meat servers where frugal and the drinks came after 20 minutes (after purchasing all you can drink add-on), and on top of that, the last call for drinks was not announced. If tipping wasn t already included at 18%, I d have given them 5% for their services.

Poor service for our table of 10. Wait staff were pushy and trying to rush us out before our time limit. Meats coming late and really giving no options. Even appetizers came out slow and late and no option to go up & grab for self. Cost savings do not recommend

We called on Thursday evening to book a reservation, lady told us it was booked When we showed up there was no reservation on their system. Manager Aram was arrogant and condescending. No empathy was shown. Worse customer service ever.

Hi, We were there tonight and we were shocked by how bad the service was. First of all when we arrived our table was not ready and we had to wait 20 mins for the table and when I approached to the waiter to say that instead of apologizing he explained that it is a rush hour and getting reservation doesn t mean that you get your table on time! Secondly, when we sat the waiters who brought the meat to our table, did not bring any meats! That was so surprising because this restaurant is said to be bringing meats frequently at the table. We had to complain about this so finally only 4 of the waiters came to the table during our stay there. Lastly, the sides were brought really late and many of the sides that we ordered never came. They didn t even apologize for this. Overall I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone, not even for once. It s a complete waste of money and time!

Overall was good but the amount of service you received usually depends on how busy the place is. Food distribution is slow and becoming smaller.

**Disappointing Experience at Copa Cabana Brazilian Steakhouse** I visited Copa Cabana with high expectations, hoping to enjoy a great meal and redeem a complementary meal offer that I had received via email. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of frustrating, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction. First, the complementary meal voucher that was clearly confirmed in the email I received was not accepted upon my arrival. Despite having made reservations ahead of time and presenting the voucher upon check-in, I was told that it could not be honored. This was not only confusing but incredibly disappointing, especially when the email explicitly confirmed the offer. When I sought clarification, the situation was made worse by the manager on duty, Aram. His attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly rude. Rather than trying to help resolve the issue or offer an apology, he acted as though I was inconveniencing him by asking for some resolution. I found his behaviour completely unacceptable for a manager at any restaurant, especially one that prides itself on service and quality. It s incredibly frustrating to feel misled by a promotional offer, especially when the staff and specifically a manager like Aram were not even remotely willing to take responsibility or address the issue in a professional manner. Needless to say, I left the restaurant feeling disrespected and completely dissatisfied with both the service and the way my concern was handled. I can t recommend Copa Cabana based on this experience, and I will certainly not be returning. If you re considering visiting, I suggest being cautious and ensuring there are no discrepancies with any offers you may receive, as it seems the staff may not be willing to honour them. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback to heart and improves their customer service particularly when it comes to handling issues professionally and courteously.

They overbill, charge for the items on the menue that you didn t order, forget about «happy hour» discounts. Especially, if you have a big company and a big bill. The manager is very unprofessional. Instead of solving the issues, he starts yelling that he won t accept these guests anymore. Do NOT recommend.

Terrible service. Made reservations and upon arrival I had to wait 20 minutes just to be sat down. After being sat down we waited for 30 minutes and still didn t have any steak come to our table. Don t recommend wasting your money to come here cause you will definitely not enjoy your short time there..

Aram and the team were amazing, very professional, attentive and kind. We hosted our Christmas Party for Shoppers Drug Mart there 2 years in a row and they exceeded our expectations both times. The food tasted delicious from the apps to the meats and the service was top notch. I definitely recommend having your party at this location.

Not an authentic experience at all. I brought clients there to taste the Brazilian food I know and love and somehow the meat was all sweet. They had no accommodations for dietary restrictions like no pork, they didn t have chicken heart, the pao de queijo was cold, and most of the sides are american sides like mac n cheese. but WORST OF ALL: the music was in spanish. If you are brazilian, you know there is nothing worst than when people just assume all of latin america is the same. This is what this restaurant did. I talked to the manager and told him my thoughts to which he said that the steakhouse is INSPIRED by brazilian food. This is not clear anywhere. It s not on the menu, the decoration, or anything else. One brazilian server stood out and apologized for the lack of authenticity. He was great. The ambiance is also good, just the spanish music is honestly just racist. Everything else, I would rather have gone to chick fil a. I hope my clients don t assume this is what the brazilian culture is like. Also SUPER expensive for not a great value. Dietary restrictions: They do not accommodate anything

Trashy establishment. My friends and I wrote glowing reviews initially and you can see that copacabana was offering complimentary meals for doing so. Now take a look at these emails and tell me that this doesn t look like they accepted our vouchers? We arrive and they kicked us out and extremely unprofessionally argued with us. Avoid this place at all costs

What happened to this place? Never been to an all you can eat steakhouse where you dont get to eat meat. When you do its the biggest joke of slices. Then the wait they come every 20-30mins. You make eye contact with other tables wondering where the meat is aswell. Pros-food tastes good Cons-everything else you will definitely get the vibe that they push to give you the least amount of portions possible.

I ve been to this location several times, but lately, it feels like a complete money trap. The service is consistently slow and frustrating. We waited over 1.5 hours and only received about 6 pieces of meat in that time. They bring out meat every 15 minutes or so, and after just a couple of rounds (worth maybe $10-15 of food), you end up feeling full not from the food but from the long waits in between. The sides we ordered never arrived, and they didn t bring the cornbread or cheese balls, which are usually staples at this restaurant. The waiter kept blaming the kitchen, saying it was busy, but it was a weekday, and the place was only half full. After waiting 75 minutes, and racking up a $200 bill, we left the restaurant still half hungry. The manager was polite and reduced the tip from the bill, but it didn t make up for the poor experience. The food was overpriced for what little we received. It s disappointing to see the decline in service here what used to be a fun experience has turned into a frustrating, overpriced ordeal.

They had a great selection of food. However the steak were not cooked to our preference and we were not offered or asked what we would like. For that I give a 2 star rating.

We recently dined here at this reputable Brazilian steakhouse that unfortunately fell short of expectations. At $80 per person for an all-you-can-eat experience, I anticipated a steady flow of delicious meats. However, the service was quite lacking. While the sides and drinks were quickly served, the meat was sparse and hard to come by. We were seated in an area where the servers seemed to overlook us, and by the time they arrived with the meat, it was often gone before we had a chance to try it. It was disappointing to feel like I had to chase down the meat, especially at a place known for its steak. Additionally, the automatic 18% tip felt unwarranted given the slow service. I ve enjoyed other Brazilian steakhouses where I was practically begging for a break from the meat, but here I was left wanting more. Overall, the experience did not match the price, and I left feeling unsatisfied. The atmosphere is great with amazing dancing and samba but it is almost a distraction to make you forget that you are desperately waiting for more meat. I hope they can improve their service to align with the high expectations that come with their pricing.

You pay 85 for person but is not worthy they take to long to bring the meet you order rice,salad, you get full of these stuff but meet nothing .is not worthy to pay this kinda the money for that you get full waiting for the waitress to bring the meal . Had a fabulous time celebrating our anniversary. Plenty of delicious food, great vibe and entertainment and excellent service. Caio and Nilufer were very attentive and helpful. All the servers were so wonderful and we had the best time! Highly recommend, come with an empty belly :)

A Disastrous Experience at Copa Cabana I just had the worst time at this Brazilian steakhouse in downtown Toronto. The food quality? Sure, it was good, but the amount they give you is a joke! For an all-you-can-eat place, I thought I would get plenty of meat, but there were only three or four meat/steak options, and they barely served any. It truly feels like a scam! They want you to fill up on the side dishes, but they don t provide a proper main steak dish to go with them. As a result, you end up getting full on sides that are often solo who wants to eat mushrooms on their own? Seriously! The service was excruciatingly slow! One server came to our table and said he didn t have enough meat for everyone, serving only three out of the four guests at the table. He promised to come back, but guess what? He never did! And most of the dishes are guess what? Not steak. From pineapple, to chicken, to shrimps.. Leaving a steakhouse without tasting steak? That s beyond frustrating! And don t even get me started on the 18% gratuity they add automatically. It s ridiculous for such awful service. They also push their expensive drinks hard. I said I didn t want a second drink, but the server was really insistent, trying to serve me almost immediately. Get you drunk, get you full on sides, but don t get you any meat. Wow! The atmosphere is lively, but it doesn t make up for the complete lack of meat you expect at a real steakhouse. For the prices they charge, you should get a proper experience, not this disaster. Avoid this place unless you want to leave feeling utterly deprived, outrageously dissatisfied, and seething with hunger and anger!

We were there for dinner last night, all the meat was raw and inedible. I went several times, the quality was very low compared to before, the service was very poor

I went into Copa Cabana thinking this would be a one-and-done type of experience, especially after looking at some of the recent bad reviews. Ijust wanted to be able to say that I had tried it I was VERY wrong!! The food was to-die-for, especially the picanha steak and fried bananas. The service was excellent, I especially appreciated that most of the servers were actually Brazilian (or latino/a). Finally, the ambience was fantastic! We were even surprised with a dance show right before leaving. I will definitely be returning, would encourage you to do the same!

Came with some friends for dinner and had an ok experience. The wait time was crazy long and there was no where to stand as people piled up at the door. Got seated and ordered a bunch of sides but only half of what I ordered came. Then we get told there s no ribs, no chicken breast, no nothing but some flank steak or some cheese steak. Like no way you sold out when we re half way through your dinner service. They just tried to fill you up with cheap stuff.after this I wouldn t suggest this place to friends

Came after after 8 years, not as good as before and prices have doubled. Less meat passing around and service is a bit slow. Food is ok.

Great atmosphere and never ending meat service.. Speedy pleasant service, low cost drinks and hourly costuned dancers to brighten the evening . Had a great time. Good was a bit pricey but... it never stops coming so it can be a great deal if you have an appetite. I will return.

Not to recommend feels like a scam overpriced and you almost don t get any meat. It was the first time in my life that I was at an all you can eat buffet where I get what they give me not what I want. All in all you can go anywhere else and you re more satisfied. I think it s more show than you will eat there. The food never comes together. First meat without side dishes and than side dishes without the meat all in all very overpriced for less meat. I expected to eat a lot of meat in a steakhouse. And at the end they include a 20 Prozent tip without you to decide if you want to tip or not. A tip should be the customers choice and not what they tell you. You tip if you re happy with the service and the food. We probably had a half steak per person since they never showed up at our table. And exactly 4x shrimps per person. Don t waste your time and money there.

So this 3/5 stars is based on the fact this organization charges a, as one would expect for ayce Brazilian bbq, a steep price. They did not operate in a manner that would becoming of a high establishment, of whom, our party of ten people for a birthday no less, was met with a single round, perhaps 1.5 of meats for the table. Plenty of dancing, fireworks... little in meat. We asked for a second servings. That should be the or at least want in prior experiences. When asked for deserts we said yes. Instead she came back with the bill. When asked what happened to the deserts? She looked confused and said that shed bring it. Nope. We spent over $400 on alcohol. $1000 on food. Would i come back to copacabana? Nope. Not when i blow nearly $1400 in a rushed 1.5hr sitting with not enough food. We need less hoopla dancers and fireworks... more better attentive service and perhaps meats as weve paid for.

Amazing experience amazing food and great atmosphere

First visit to this location after the downtown location closed and we were very happy to see that the quality of the food has not changed (in our opinion). Meats were well cooked and various, sides were delicious although a number of them were out of stock but still more than enough options. Service was quite good despite a slower dining room. Meats came at a good rate and sides were delivered quite promptly. There were a couple things we had to ask for a couple times but not really a huge problem. Overall very satisfied with the experience and would come back.

Came to our anniversary to this restaurant. Indicated we would like a booth in our reservation and there were none available at our arrival. The meat servers were great, attentive and very kind. The general servers were quite the opppsoge and ruined our experience. We were serviced by Annie, she was not friendly, drinks too very long, did not check in our ask if we wanted drinks or to clear the table at any point until we had to stack our own plates. Super disappointing experience and extremely different than the last experience we had at the downtown copa cabana location.

I came here for a birthday dinner and we selected the special where you can order drinks and the all you can eat menu. Food service was good but our server for bar service was slow. I was only able to get 2 drinks within our 2 hour meal service while other guests had more. When we asked for the bill it took more than half an hour and asking several times we could have probably left and they would not have noticed. From $80-90 a person for a group of 8 people ended up being $150. I would definitely not return here.

I had a great experience at the COPA in Niagara Falls, so I was excited to try copa at Toronto Downtown with my friends. The food was good, and the staff serving the BBQ were friendly and attentive. However, the rest of the service was disappointing. It took about 30 minutes just to get a drink, and another 20 minutes to settle the bill. They also added a mandatory tip, which didn t feel justified given the quality of service. Overall, the experience didn t match the price or my expectations based on my visit to the Niagara Falls location.

The worst experience of my entire life! Was visiting Toronto early November from California, and decided to invite my family out to dinner and based on my experience with Brazilian steakhouses in the USA, I decided to take them to this place. What a mistake!!! The service was terrible. The hostess told my nephew tell me if you want a lot of soda so I can bring it all at once! Then she shows up with like four glasses of soda and he only asked for one. After that she forgot to bring all four of our alcoholic drinks and shows up with one, and when I inquired, she said you must ve just ordered one, so I placed another order for three more, then she shows up with six, saying oh you must ve ordered them all. The meat was not all that good, and the servings were terrible. Comes the check, and they have added 18% tip automatic for a party of five. So I asked them to remove the tip and make it optional as it is supposed to be ( I am not a cheap tipper, I just don t like to be forced to tip). This is when all hell broke loose! The guy responds, what? You think we work here for free! So I asked for a manager, he comes and he is even more rude than the boss boy and ruined the entire experience with my family witnessing the whole ordeal! In any case, just be aware of the terrible service that awaits you at this place.

Went here to celebrate a birthday. Staff was ambivalent and matter of fact. After one hour they no longer stopped by the table with meat even though the reservation was for two hours. Server was curt at the mention of the birthday and made mention the reservation was for two hours, an hour in. Food was great, wished the service was to measure.

Worse service ever. They severely burned my cousins hand. The feminine looking male manager with the ponytail is extremely rude. It s low quality meat and bad service. Management is the problem with this place.

Had cockroach in my drink and supervisor made it out that I had problem with the place . Just watch the drinks/glasses fruit cake manager probably doesn t clean the glasses instead he gives attitude .

The service is ok..potentially because its a busy environment. However, there are some lulls in between services that might annoy..swell as when attending with a group, you are only allowed so many sides that can be a bit confusing.. but amazing food!! Its one of my favorite joints.

Best restaurant I ve been to downtown in a long time for sure. Staff was AMAZING. Very fast. Food was so good we didn t want to leave. Deffenetly worth it to go to this place.

Service was not good, the sides took forever to come we had to ask them to bring them, I ordered a drink and i had to ask the waitress again because they had forgotten, the only good thing I enjoyed was the DJ he was great

The place was great! Food was delicious, but they took too long to bring out the meats, the waitress was new and she was not too friendly and the table we were sitted was so small and uncomfortable. But seeing the dancers was a nice surprise!

Do not order any food when you go here. The sample courses are more than enough and are the only thing that actually tastes good. The Cesar salad I ordered was the worst Ive ever had, literally had better Cesar salad from a gas station. The entire place is very cheaply thrown together to try and look fancy. Absolute bottom tier craftsmanship from the half stocked bottle cupboard on the wall to the strips of painters tape left on the ceiling. The entire luxury aesthetic that people think exists here is nowhere to be seen. The dancers were great and the shows were well performed. Zero production value whatsoever though that is purely a fault of management, not the dancers. Our server took 35 minutes to bring a drink to the woman I was with yet brought my beer to me in 5 minutes. All in all Id say its worth nowhere near the $270 bill that i paid for two people. At most it would be a $150 dinner. Wouldnt recommend this location unless youre a very simple person whos easily amused. Ill never be going back.

We went for my friends birthday on Saturday September 28! Our server Christiane was amazing and looked after our group since it was big and in a good timely manner! The food was alright very very rare- I usually ate my steak medium rare but that was super rare! They barely made it to the end of our table, they would start at the top and then leave and say they would be back- we had to ask our server to ask them to come back around as we were only really eating sides! When the bills came, the host of n our party realized that our bills were wrong because when she had booked and double checked with the hostess they had said the price was 75 per person-which it turned out to be 85, we were explaining that to the manager just double checking so we could pay ! The manager was beyond rude to all of us and gave us the worst attitude and when I had asked him if he was the manager and why he is talking like this to his guest he brushed it off and I told him he was being very rude and disrespectful as we all just spent a lot along with getting bottles he said everyone is entitled to their own opinion ! That kind of put a damper on the night, and just left a bad taste about how they treat people who were just trying to confirm something! I did not get his name but he wears glasses, very very rude and does not know how to respond to people politely and should not be working in the industry!!!

They come to your table with the meats for the first 20 minutes. They cut you the thinnest slices. When THEY decide youve had enough they skip your table. The servers were serving the tables around us but were ignoring us. Very disappointing. I will never go back....

Meat was great and the selection is amazing. The sides are all on the smaller side for example the french fries were a bowl with maybe 15 fries and a container of ketchup. Overall it s a pretty nice place geared more towards older audiences.

This establishment has mastered the art of scams. 1. There is a two-hour seating limit, but all our orders were extremely slow. Only two staff members were bringing the meat skewers around, which made it feel like they were stalling to maximize the seating time. 2. We opted for the all-you-can-drink option, but flat water costs extra, even though it is listed as a soft drink. They have soft drinks labeled as all-inclusive in the all-you-can-drink option. If this isnt a scam, I dont know what is. 3. We were informed that the all-you-can-drink option was only available for the first hour of dinner, and we werent allowed to get more drinks unless we finished our previous ones. This extra clause was not mentioned on the menu. If this isnt a scam, I dont know what is. 4. We had to ask multiple times for our bill. It felt like they were trying to make us wait until we grew impatient, so we would be less likely to contest the specifics on the bill.

Its cool to sit and watch people come to your table with different meat, but holy shit the cost is bit much..... yeah music is nice barley can heat each other and the meat was great but you dont eat alot to justify the price, and the Tip % its not only this restaurant doing it but mandatory 20% tip there was 5 of us so everyone paid for themselves now 20% per person ... well thank you

The minute we sat down the meat was flowing. I seriously couldnt catch up because I wanted to try everything. They kept coming even after it looked like we were done. Our experience dining at the Copacabana steakhouse was absolutely incredible! 10/10 would recommend this place for families out to celebrate something special, dates where you wanna wow that special someone, or just a change of pace from the average dining experience. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, and the shows were beyond compare! Guaranteed to have a great time and leave here full and completely satisfied with your night.

I made reservation for 9:00pm at this location and made a terrible choice. Firstly I called 25 times and no one picked up Once I walked in for my reservation I was standing for 32 minutes until someone came up and asked for a name. Waited another 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated no one came to our table for 15 minutes at this point I lost it, asked for a manager but no manager appeared. The meat served at our table never came for 30 min until I asked them when is my order coming to the table. I spent almost $400 for such shitty service and shitty cold food. No wonder the reviews are so bad!!! You don t even deserve my one star. I don t know how this place is open please don t go here!!!

This was by far the worst experience I ve ever had in Toronto. It was my first time being at this restaurant (midtown location) and my last time. The service was beyond horrible, our waitress (Lara I think ) was very rude towards us and dismissive. She was passive aggressive with everything we were asking her. We were ordering our sides but then was told by her that we were overwhelming the kitchen from our orders A whole restaurant of people yet we were overwhelming the kitchen? Super unprofessional and not pleasant. I should ve read the reviews before booking at this place. The reviews ain t lying at all. Disgusting behaviour for an overpriced place. I paid close to $300, waste of money and time. Never again!

Amazing food and music.

Terrible service extremely rude manager . Came here with a large party for a birthday and the food was coming very slow. Most of our appetizers came at the end of the dinner . When we were complaining, the manager came over and didn t introduce himself as the manager, so we didn t know who we were dealing with. Took almost a half an hour to get our bills after we asked . then the manager proceeded to come over and berate us and say it was our fault for not speaking up enough to him. Disgusting behaviour.

This is probably the most expensive place I ve eaten out before which came out around 100 dollars including tax and tip, this was the first time I went to a Brazilian steak house which was all you can eat, they go around your table if you want a piece of what their carrying, I the food was really good and made me change my mind that steak and prime rib is good, I always seen them on YouTube and think it s overrated, now I can see where the hype comes for steak, but the price speaks out a lot and it s really expensive, I would mostly go on really special occasions.

We visited Copa last night and was extremely disappointed. This was not my first visit and I had also been to other locations but some of the meats served were extremely salty to a point that they were not edible. We raised this with the waitress but she advised that there is nothing they can do and they will just bring us less salty meats. Rest of the meats were salty too which got to a point where we just skipped all the meats and moved on to dessert.

My husband and I unfortunately had an unpleasant experience at this uptown location in Eglinton. After being seated for over an hour and a half and only been given one kind of meat the whole time, we asked the waiter for more variety as we had been waiting a while for the other steaks to show up. The table behind us was given a variety of steaks, however the tables beside us were having the same experience as we were in not being given a variety of food. After asking the waiter for the change, and then asking one of the servers, it took almost 2 hours since being seated to have any variety of meat given to us. We were extremely disappointed in our decision to go to this restaurant on our anniversary and would not recommend.

I had an exceptional dining experience at CopaCabana (Eglington location). The Brazilian steak was nothing short of amazing perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The atmosphere added to the experience, with lively Brazilian dance performances by talented performers in vibrant costumes, creating a festive and immersive environment. This restaurant is a fantastic choice for both a delicious meal and an entertaining evening.

We visited Copa Cabana on September 7th, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Although they use an app to order sides, it didnt work for two of us, which was frustrating. The side dishes we did manage to get were good, but the main issue was the lack of variety in the meat cuts. We used to be regulars at Copa Cabana, visiting at least twice a month when John was the manager at the Eglinton location. Later, we frequented the Adelaide location, and everything was phenomenal. However, our recent visit was far from the Brazilian experience we were accustomed to. Considering they offer a rodizio menu, we were expecting a wide range of meats, but they kept bringing the same cuts and an overwhelming amount of chicken. This is definitely not the authentic Brazilian experience we had come to love. We hope Copa Cabana can bring back the quality and variety that made us fall in love with their restaurant in the first place.

This was my first time at Copacabana, and I was apart of a small group on the non-heated patio. Im not sure the how our servers day/evening was going but we received service that was consistently subpar from beginning to end. This was not only due to demeanour, but also attentiveness to check on us, deliver our requests (such as water or napkins), waiting over 50 minutes for our food due to her not knowing what happened and not realizing til we asked a second time, as well as forgetting to bring our bills until she noticed us looking at her yet again. There were 7 rotations of food. The staff serving the food greeted and were kind. Unfortunately we didnt enjoy the food and would collectively rate it 3/10. My partner says it wasnt enough food. We all ended up going to another restaurant afterwards. Unfortunately the entertainment was only inside. It would have been nice to hear genres of music outside of the one the DJ had on rotation, but no big deal, we understood its a Brazilian steakhouse and danced when we could. Once our bills finally arrived via a different person, we all had a mandatory $30 tip included, with the explanation of there being many staff members to split it between which I understand, however, it was nowhere near earned. When I tried to explain why I would question the tip, there was no apology for our experience, but rather a passive shift in attention to someone ready to pay. I was attempting to paycash (unsure of if I could) which may have given him the impression that I wasnt ready to pay. The night was easily able to be brushed off until the last brief exchange that solidified the very poor experience and lack of care. I know their plates are full and I was hoping to extend more grace as weve been looking for new spots to add to our regulars but I havent had such a bad dining experience in a while and would not recommend going to this restaurant or this location, at least. Dietary restrictions: Not pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan friendly. Yes, they offer 1-off options, but we were not given any full options to make a meal which restrictions. Obviously we know its a steakhouse and viewed the menu, my point is that one with restrictions that is willing to still dine there, should be able to eat a complete meal from their offerings.

Took forever to get our drinks, the all inclusive is great but you re waiting 45 minutes for a drink. Not worth the $100 dollars. Our server seemed annoyed when we were ordering drinks. Would not recommend.

This location is a part of each celebration in our family (it s our 9th times) and still amazed with the Quality and selection of food, very good service, and ambiance. Price per person is very reasonable with AYCE steaks.

Excellent restaurant, our experience was amazing and the food was delicious! My only recommendation is that the Tip be included by the customer and not demanded by the restaurant, since the restaurant includes 18% in the bill regardless of whether the customer is satisfied or not.

I absolutely love everything about this place! We visited last Thursday and were pleasantly surprised by a ladies promotion just $50 per person, and it was totally worth it. The meats were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the sides were just as delicious. The service was excellent, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

We were really surprised by the quality of the meat from the all inclusive menu! Everything was super tasty! Sides comes in small portions but are unlimited to order so it works! Only giving 4* because we felt rushed, the food would come non stop the first 15 mins which made us feel full right away, would have appreciated more breaks between each grill

The food is pretty good in general, however, the service is extremely slow. The selections of meat probably came around at a rate of one per 20 min or even more. We were also skipped for a few of the offerings and had to request them specifically to our server. We were offered the following: Picanha Brazil, prime rib with cheddar, top sirloin, bbq rub flank steak, garlic sirloin steak, garlic shrimp, chicken drumsticks, cilantro lime chicken, roasted pineapple. The sides we ordered also came slowly. There is a limitation of ordering only 5 sides each time, but when the portion sizes of each side is so small, it is very hard to have enough to share amongst a large group. The servers were all very professional and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cool too with the neon lights and decor. But, the fact that this is an all you can eat restaurant and we are paying $75 per person, and the food comes SO slowly, it is definitely not worth a return visit. Parking: There is a paid parking lot located behind the building, an outdoor area and an underground.

Visited on a Thursday with a party of 8 for the girls night $50 offering. Ordered mojito as well which was very good and strong. The food selection is plenty. But hard to try everything as the staff coming around with the meats kept skipping our table. There is also a limitation of 5 side orders per table at a time. Which would make sense if they actually gave shareable sizes. For a party of 8 the sides were very small (for ex. Roasted brocolli and eggplant with one large piece of brocolli and one eggplant). We filled up on cheesy bread and cornbread, as that seemed to be the main thing our table was being offered. The meat was good but waaaaaay too salty. The server, although very friendly, seemed either overwhelmed or poorly trained. Kept trying to flag them down, but they were either busy running around or didnt see. Overall the experience was lacklustre for the premium amount that we paid (around $100 pp after tax and tip). Our group left unsatisfied with some having to go to another spot to grab a snack after. Will not be visiting again or recommending to others. Parking: There is paid parking behind the restaurant with a decent amount of spots. Kid-friendliness: Meat selection is too salty for little ones. Pasta bolognese had barely any meat but was enjoyed by toddler. My husband booked a reso at the uptown location for my birthday. We always enjoy dinner at Copa Cabana and we always leave feeling as if we got our moneys worth. That was not the case this time. Our reso was at 5pm. We were doing an earlier dinner and going out after. When we sat down we put in our drink and sides orders. Everything was going good, the food was really good. Our waitress forgot one of our sides and my husbands drink so we reminded her and she eventually brought it over to us. Around 45 mins into dinner we realized that our waitress stopped coming to our table and the meat servers were purposefully avoiding us and going to all the other tables. When I say purposefully I mean they were literally skipping only us and were even avoiding eye contact. We were a little confused why this was happening because it is supposed to be all you can eat. About 20 mins passed, no food, no service. My husband was becoming upset because at this point we just wanted the bill if we were not going to be served. We had to ask a different waitress to please find our waitress so we could pay our bill and leave. It was when we received our bill and I took a look back at the menu was when we realized that we had been charged only $65/pp for some 5-5:45 happy hour dinner. No one at any point explained this to us or asked us which menu we wanted. We wouldve paid the extra money in order to have normal service if we wouldve been asked. 45 minutes is clearly not even enough time to order a second round sides had we wanted to, our waitress never came back so we can order more sides. We have never had this happen to us at any other copa cabana. Ultimately after a $200+ bill and 18% auto gratuity we left feeling unhappy, and my husband was not even full, which is a first at copa cabana. There should be more communication with customers about when cut off times are and what service is available. Had we known that dinner at 5pm meant a 45 min cut off we wouldve gone elsewhere with our money.

Solid place overall. Its a bit noisy in the restaurant and sometimes takes awhile to get the meats that you want but overall the quality is pretty good. Its a bit pricy for ayce, I liked the Mac and cheese appetizer but dont reccomend getting to many and filling up instead of eatting the tasty meats. My favorite things the pinnaple with I think cinnamon/sugar on it! Its super sweet and tasty! Lots of the meats are unique and tasty Id reccomend trying them all then just asking for the ones u like the most when the people with meat come around.

Go here to get ripped off. Got the all inclusive 80$ each for ayce meat and drinks, the drinks are super limited and the meat servers will avoid you. The server is not attentive at all, I sat without water or napkins for 20 minutes waiting for any staff including meat servers to come by so I could ask them for literal napkins and water. Servers name was Joanne Yang Y,. it costed us 210$ to eat low quality cheese filled meat (a very low amount of it at that). When I asked for the bill it took at least another 10-15 minutes and her section, then she asked if we needed the machine which she left to go get. Turns out the machine was a part of her phone POS, so I m not sure why that took her another 5-10 minutes. Her section probably has 6 tables in it the fact that I m autogratted for low quality service like this on a 2 top is pretty shady. Won t be coming back and would definitely not recommend anyone else to come here unless you enjoy throwing your money away. Plenty of better options for a fraction of the price in Toronto

The staffs were so nice and great. We were treated like royalty. The food was so delicious and satisfying. The drink was yummy. We was absolutely staffed with the quality and quantity of of food! The place is so beautiful. We really recommend this place. So satisfied! Love it so much!

They starve you in there, they throw you a piece of meat every 15 minutes. It is not all you can eat, it is you have to wait to eat. Biggest scam, with the money they charge you, you can have you can eat more and better meat at any steakhouse.

My husband and I tried CopaCabana for our 9th anniversary. We chose to go to an earlier dinner to avoid a large crowd on a Saturday, and were able to do just that. The food was delicious, and very fresh. The skewers and spits came out quickly and the service seemed very good up until this point. When our waitress noticed I wasnt eating anymore, she cleared our table quickly. My husband wasnt finished eating and had to ask for his plate back. (We had only been there about 40 minutes and arrived at 4:10pm, so we werent there long and werent going into their next dinner time at all...) After my husband finished, we asked for the fried banana dessert and were told it would be about 5 minutes. We said we were willing to wait but would pay our bill in the mean time. The gratuity was added in, which was a surprise to us but understandable. But we waited 20 minutes for bananas that never came and the waitress ignored us the rest of the time. It was a crappy ending to what started out great... Vegetarian options: Very limited.

Came here for the second time tonight (both times for an anniversary) and it was a blast! Service was great, we were served so much meat that by the last few rounds we had to refuse cause we were so full. All meats we got were great quality, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Drinks were delicious, and the quality/options available on the all inclusive menu were honestly a pleasant surprise! Sides arrived quick and were delicious. We ordered a few rounds of the salmon tartar, cassava with beef, potatoes, Caesar salad, and cauliflower and everything was great. Honestly the only critique is that the cassava and beef was a bit greasy compared to the last time we were here, but still yummy. The occasional table side sides were to die for. We got so many rounds of the grilled pineapple, cornbread, and cheesy bread right at the end. Service was great! Our waitress, Paula, was super kind and attentive to our needs. Icing on the cake was when she asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and when we mentioned it was our anniversary, she brought out our dessert with sparklers! Truly a kind gesture and made the meal a lot more memorable :) Thank you so much CopaCobana for another amazing anniversary dinner :) I HIGHLY recommend coming here on a weekday, especially Monday-Wednesday as they have the all inclusive Rodizio AND drinks special for $80 per person. We came here for a friends birthday August 9th for 8:45pm and I can confidently say that this restaurant does not give a single care about their customers. Absolute joke of a service as we watched tables around us AND tables that sat down after us being served while we had a grand total of 0 servers approach our table. This is the first time Ive ever entered a restaurant and left an establishment having not been served any food. We left the restaurant at 9:40pm, close to an hour having been served a GRAND TOTAL of 0 pieces of meat. Ive never had such an awful experience before where I waited close to an hour and didnt have a single server approach my table to fulfill their purpose; serving their customers. We had to flag down our server after 35 minutes where we asked whether we needed to order the food or the servers came by automatically. Server told us hed come back in 10 minutes and proceeded to avoid our table for the next 25 minutes before we finally decided to cut the cord and leave. As we were leaving, a server stopped us and insisted we spoke to a manager in which we had to wait another 15 minutes for some manager to finally attend to our problem. The manager that came to solve our problem was quite honestly the most pointless and frustrating conversation Ive ever had in my life. He asked me, what he should do due to the packed house and that the service was expected to be a bit slower as if it was a shocker that theyd be busy on a Friday night. Why am I, the customer, being asked what to do to solve the problem was my question. Should the onus not be on the restaurant to do their job and actually serve food to their customers? Offered us 0 compensation, 0 apology and 0 solutions to our problem and essentially proceeded to tell us to leave if we wanted. Whoever the manager is with the manbun, quite clearly has 0 experience in any problem-solving situations and provided us with 0 recourse. I question why someone in a management position isnt able to do their job but I also understand that quite frankly, nobody could do their job this night. All in all, after asking for a manager when 1 singular server came by to offer us food which quite honestly felt like a slap in the face considering we waited an hour to be ignored and only when we asked for a manager did they decide to rectify the situation. Considering that this place has the audacity to charge $85/person and cant even bother to serve our reserved table any food, was shocking because youd expect at that price point that youd actually have the opportunity to eat food at some point during your reservation. Between the service and the lacklustre problem-solving the man-bun manager provided us, I will NEVER come to this establishment ever again and I will warn ANYONE that is looking to actually be served food to AVOID this place at all costs. Youre better off going to Mcdonalds because at least youll actually be able to eat food for the money that you spend.

My friends waited over an hour for the sides they ordered, and despite repeatedly asking the waitstaff, we were only told that the food was on its way. Eventually, we had to share our meals with them since nothing arrived. When we expressed our concerns, instead of resolving the issue, the manager only made things worse. He lacked basic customer service skills like listening and empathy, and instead of apologizing, he aggravated my already upset friend. While the staff serving the meat were friendly, the managers behavior was unacceptable. He even told us, please don t come back, and arrogantly claimed that this was the best restaurant in Toronto as if we were clueless about dining. As someone from France who knows good food, I can confidently say this was not impressive.

Had a rude waiter yesterday and we were celebrating my mom s birthday. We sat down and she told us what time we need to be finished which was 7:45 pm which we thanked her for reminding us. The steaks started coming in and she hadn t come to our table to order our sides past 15 minutes we started eating. An hour comes by and she told us to start ordering desserts and she would bring the bill after. Mind you, this was at 6:45 when we have an our left for our table. We said fine and ordered desserts even tho we hadn t finished eating and we got fried bananas. She took our plates and just put one plate down with 6 fried bananas and I looked around to see if she would give us new plates. She said do you need something? I said yes we need dessert plates please so she left and came back to slammed a plate right in front of me where my hand was and had an attitude. I didn t understand why she was rushing us and was so rude as we constantly said please and thank you and always smiled every time she showed up to our table. Kinda disappointed since it was my moms birthday and it was an unpleasant service even tho I frequent this restaurant all the time

I recently visited this steakhouse that used to be one of my favorites, but unfortunately, my latest experience was a major letdown. First, the service was extremely slow. We waited an unreasonable amount of time between meat servings, which was frustrating considering the restaurants reputation for efficiency. The quality of the meat has noticeably dropped since pre-pandemic times, with many of the cuts lacking the tenderness and flavor I once loved. Adding to the frustration, they now limit you to ordering only four side dishes at a time, which really restricts the dining experience, especially when sharing with a group. To top it all off, there s a mandatory 18% gratuity added to the bill, which feels unjustified given the poor service we received. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the high prices. I left feeling like the value for money has significantly diminished, and I was far from satisfied with the visit. I hope they make some changes soon, but as of now, I can t recommend as a worthwhile dining option.

I genuinely wish I could give this place 0 stars, but unfortunately, 1 is the lowest. We had a reservation on August 9th at 8:45 pm for a friends birthday. Upon arriving, our server got to us and helped us get our order of sides in which only 2/4 came after 15 minutes. As we kept looking at our clocks, we were genuinely confused as to why our table was not getting served any meat even though all the tables around us were. After half an hour we flagged down our server to see what was going on which got us an answer from one of the meat guys to say Sorry guys its just me running 12 tables on my own ill try to get to you guys as soon as I can. This also leads to us waiting another 25 minutes without ANY meat coming to our table. Weve now decided to leave the restaurant, and the server comes back to insist that we speak to a manager so we can solve this issue. In comes the manager with the manbun who quite frankly seems to have no clue on how to handle this situation. Why are you the manager asking the customer what to do to handle this problem? During this whole conversation, not once did I feel like the manager was trying to help come up with a solution but rather get us to leave without an apology or compensation. Sorry for the long rant, but I genuinely think Copacabana should get a check on management (especially this man bun guy), considering I have never had this problem at ANY other location or even restaurant ever.

We have come here for my husbands birthday for the past 7 years because of how good this restaurant is so we decided to come and celebrate my birthday as well. This time however, our experience was not great at all, which is especially disappointing since it was my actual birthday. As soon as we sat down the waitress put in our order for a bunch of sides and our drinks. 10 minutes later we still did not receive anything. When we asked about our drinks (we did the all you can eat/drink) she told us that she forgot and would go get them. We still waited almost another 10 minutes for her to return. The restaurant was not busy but it still took over half an hour for our sides to come out. When we were ready to order another drink, the waitress was nowhere to be found. We waited and waited and eventually had to ask another waiter to find her. They ended up just bringing us another drink. There were many other waiters worker, it was just ours that seemed to be going into the back for 20 minutes at a time. I dont mind waiting an appropriate time for food/drinks but when youre on a time limit, its not fair to have customers constantly waiting for long periods of time. We spent a lot of money for not much food and only a few drinks. This was truly a disappointing birthday and dining experience.

Wont be back. This place used to be a decent spot when it was on Adelaide, but after trying them again, wont be back. The service is akin to a pizza hut with a self service station, youll never see your waiter. The drinks come once every 45 minutes because they have one bartender and a manager who saunters around looking busy but not actually doing much. The food comes once in a while, but often its the same thing consecutively without variation. Sad this place has gone downhill, its hit or miss with these all you can eat spots and this place is certainly a miss going forward

Went here on Saturday at 5pm to celebrate my anniversary. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time. Suban made sure we were well taken care of with the meat service.

Rating: 0/5 - Not Recommended (Horrible Service) This was by far one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. The service was absolutely atrocious. We waited over two hours for our sides, despite informing different servers about the delay. To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns, the manager was unapologetic and indifferent. It was obvious that he was not interested in resolving the issue or making our dining experience any better. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, and it felt like they couldn t care less whether we enjoyed our meal or not. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are far better options out there where your time, money, and appetite will be appreciated.

Was tried it in the Niagara Falls store, supper good. The first time tried this location: 1. There are different promotions, we were lucky, to meet one and get a discount. 2. Meat are fresh and very friendly to meat lovers; 3. Some appetizers included in the buffet; 4. Recommended The specific iced coffee and Salmon tart; 5. Fried bananas are too sweet; 6. Fries just so-so, not fresh-cut Fries, won t recommend; 7. There is a public parking lot just on the side

Been to all their locations including this one before, prior experiences were pleasant, this experience was terrible. If you like your beef cooked until it died a second time, this is the place for you! Appetitizers were good, slow coming out but was delicate. Beef was way overcooked, when we asked the servers to have it readjusted to rare from what I would deem medium well, although they claim it to be medium rare, not their rating of it, their servers tried to accommodate but the manager comes by with arrogance until he got questions if the food storage and quality is at the standard to be able to cook it to medium rare even. We would have been okay if it was Corporate policy but we know it is not, since all the other restuarants of this chain including this one would serve blue to blue rate. The manager has little to no understanding of food handling or service but tried hard to front it without any real knowledge. Threatened me that his staff should be fired for offering or making an earnest attempt to get it to a regular medium rare. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but a tool nonetheless, unprofessional if you tell a customer hed fire his staff (for any reason). If the quality of meat is fresh, higher standard, and storage is within 3-5 days at refrigeration of 4C or freezer at -14C, you should be able to serve your beef blue or rare with confidence. Dont come here unless you prefer your food well done.... for the price, go to any other CopaCabana, Truro chain or go to any Japanese AYCE BBQ LOL you get AYCE Wagyu for same price. The staff will provide you with more respect and service, the manager at this chain is a real piece of work.

The manager of this restaurant is absolutely rude and obnoxious. He is not there to provide service or to address concerns, but likes to flex and belittle his customers. He will argue with you and will openly tell you he will fire his staff for trying to provide service. Makes you wonder what his staff thinks of him when he will openly tell a customer that to prove his (not so valid) points. Had to leave because of his attitude, would give this restaurant 0 google rating for the behaviour of the manager that represents the name. Dont go here unless you want to see this guy flex his damaged ego! Parking: terrible paid parking situation Kid-friendliness: I wouldnt call this place kid friendly just because of that manager, no kid needs to see that!

Me and my family came here for my brothers birthday. I had a magnificent experience. The food was cooked to a beautiful medium rare (for all the meats.) The cheese bread was nice and cheesy, and the cuts of steak were very high quality. The atmosphere was really nice with all the colorful lights and music, and the service was really good, especially with how often and how large they gave portions of meat. I recommend people who love steak (like me ) And would certainly come again.

I have to start off by saying I was a little bit hesitant coming for the earlier 4 pm seating on a Saturday after reading some of the negative reviews complaining about the lack of meat coming around in the 2-1/2 hours before you have to leave for the second seating wasnt enough time to get more than three tastings. Wow are those negative reviews so wrong! From the minute we sat down, the food started coming non-stop that we literally could have had a tasting of everything they have at least once within the first hour! We were grabbing big samples of each skewer and couldnt even finish half of what was on our plate before the next tasty skewer came to our table. Everything was so much better than expected, from our amazing waitress, to the individual servers that came by with the food, to the amazing atmosphere, and of course the incredible food -which was the best meat Ive ever tasted! 100% worth every penny and will for sure be coming back here many more times and recommending this place to all my friends and family. Thank you for an amazing experience!

The good: Restaurant is neon vibes and layout is nice clean. Brussels sprouts is surprisingly delicious, seasoned and cooked great! Probably one of the top apps on the menu Top sirloin, picanha steak, shirmp, and Gelato. Some of the servers are nice... cannot say the same for the rest. The BAD: BEWARE ABOUT THIS PLACE Scammy and chince with servicing the whole menu. Make sure you check your bill before you pay or you will be taken advantage! Not the first time they have messed up our bill. If you order alcohol, they would almost hope you drink enough so you dont remember. Also gratuity is set 18%. Dont just sit and wait around hoping youd get to try everything if you just wait. You dont sat for about 2.5hrs and even when requesting certain meats, they still dont arrive to the table. Once they come out with some different kinds, they cycle back with the same few items. The Parm cheese steak is one that is in the rotation all the time. One star for the cleanliness of the space, and another for some of the dishes that were tasty. I cannot see giving any higher than that because the rest of the food is subpar, or cold. Long wait time between meats. Dishonesty. Service could be better Im terms of serving the meats. No show time during the time we visited. Was in the space for a total of 3 hours...

They keep bringing out the same type of steaks. Half the sides we ordered never came out. And half the menu for sides are not available only on some days, or they got rid of them. No deserts other than banana and Gelato... which I cant eat due to allergies.... this place has gone down.

My experience was 10/10. I really wanted to come to this restaurant because I heard of it before Covid and never had the chance to go. Yesterday I went for my birthday, and I m not sure if I happened to chose the right time, date and because it was just me and my boyfriend, but everything was great. I was constantly being served something, barely had time to eat what I already had, the selection of meats were amazing, to me it was well worth it. There wasn t really any live entertainment going on at the time, but I didn t care, I went for food. I m telling you it was 100% worth the money for me. After reading the reviews days prior I was actually getting really scared about how my experience would turn out, but I said that the only way I ll know for sure is if I go for myself regardless of what the reviews say. The floor is also a little sketch for some types of heels, so be careful.

I came here for my birthday and I had a terrible customer service experience at this Copa location. The servers were rude and spoke in a disrespectful manner which I was surprised by. One of the servers yelled at me saying don t pull the meat when I was not. I requested for them to bring pineapple around 10 times and they still never brought it out until over an hour later. I told them it was my birthday and they still weren t any nicer. The tip is automatically included so they don t care to treat you nicely here since they get their tip regardless, which is very wrong. I wouldn t come back to this location, they need to work on their customer service. I would put 0 stars if I could. Spend your money elsewhere where they will actually appreciate your business and treat you with respect.

The food was really amazing and delicious, I really love our servers who were smiling and helpful on what to choose on drinking menu, the music was live and exciting, I cant wait to come again

Service is what is lacking here . So much so not sure I would return . Our waitress looked like she was dying for us to leave. Rolled her eyes when we were paying and didn t say boo - no thank you , see you next time just walked away . Never in my life has wait staff done that . We were a small table so not like she could have been overwhelmed. All the other reviews were right - sides you order don t come and service wasn t good , I had to ask several times for items and note a birthday and the waitress acted like she was half asleep and never followed thru . Sad as I would have returned often but for this service - nah. Interesting they respond to all the good reviews and ignore entirely every single poor review - shows you EXACTLY how they feel about their service.

Pretty disappointing experience at a restaurant that we had been longing to get back to for a while now. It s a shame that the downtown location closed, as it was always the better one. Our night was mainly ruined by poor service. The restaurant unfortunately seems to be poorly managed, with servers lacking basic training. It was hard to get the attention of our server. Getting basic things done such as getting glasses for water, refilling of water, clearing of plates were a challenge and excruciatingly slow. Most of the sides that we ordered at the beginning of our meal didn t make it to our table, some got lost, some sold out, some arrived while we were waiting for the check. While the online menu gives you a long list of grilled items, especially for Saturdays, there is no way even 80% of them were served. Our server guided us on how to find the drinks menu online, but never even came back to take the drinks order. Our server herself suggested that we should speak with the manager about our experience, but it seemed like the manager was sold out as well. At least that s what it seemed like while we waited for 20 minutes, post our meal, for the manager to come to our table. After we shared our entire experience with him, he said thanks for sharing and walked away. We were not expecting any sort of compensation for our crappy and slow dinner experience, I had already asked for the check, but at least an apology or some hint of ownership was warranted. To top it all off we received the check with 18% gratuity pre-added. Seriously?? For a 2 cover table, you re going to give yourself a mandatory 18% tip? I would have probably tipped 18% anyways just out of habit, but seeing that added to the check on our behalf after such lousy service was very infuriating. Earn your tips guys. If it s a mandatory cost, add it to the menu pricing, and then try to get the food you re charging these prices for to the customer s table at least.

If you miss a Brazilian barbecue I recommend considering other options because this place is not worth it. Noisy atmosphere, slow service, watery caipirinha and less than half of the meat on the menu came out during the hour and a half we were there. Canadians who have never been to a real Brazilian steakhouse might think this place is cool, but as a Brazilian, this place was a waste of money and time. Also pay attention when paying that the service fee is already added.

My boyfriend and I came here as a late celebration for his birthday. We were amazed at how phenomenal the service was and how delicious the food was. They also have dancers that come out which was great entertainment we loved it all! And if you want anything specifically they bring it out without having to wait long at all! Mete was one our servers and he did a superb job at making sure we were well taken care of and got what we needed. We could tell he was working hard making sure all guests were comfortable. 10/10 will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Food is yummy as always! But they seem to be a bit short of staff so didn t come as quick/frequent as before. Always our go to place for Brazilian steakhouse. The atmosphere and decor is great! They have lady s special on Thursday!

The atmosphere of this restaurant was very cool & relaxing felt like a vacation spot. The food was excellent too the chef was on point the whole night! I would recommend to anybody looking to have a good time !

It was a bit too dark and loud for me. The food was delicious, not sure I ate $85 worth but it was a lot of fun and the dancers were phenomenal. Our server was attentive and nice. I typically dont like going to restaurants where gratuity is included but my fiance really wanted to experience Copa so we tried it out. We still want to know how they get the pineapple soooooo sweet. I recommend you try this at least once, hopefully you get Krys as your server and see the dancers .

The meat was tasty overall, but there wasnt much variety for vegetarians. The ambience was ok, though I expected it to feel more Brazilian rather than just generic Latin American. The forced gratuity % is a downer. The show was a nice touch, even if it only lasted 5 minutes.

Will definitely come back. Food was amazing ! The wagyu literally melted in my mouth! Enjoyed the show as well
