60 Harbour St, Toronto, ON M5J 1B7, Canada
In 1917, the Toronto Harbour Commission first opened its doors in what was then New Toronto. Eighty-two years later, in the very same building, Harbour 60 was established as the city’s premier steakhouse. With a nod to our history, and a toast to tomorrow, we are established for one reason. To offer the best you’ve ever had.
Harbour Sixty Toronto An Exceptional and Beautiful restaurant. We were in a room with 2 other small groups but the experience was just amazing. My entire family loved it and next month I will bring 4 clients out for dinner here. The candle when you walk in is so inviting, the server was amazingly attentive and genuine. The steaks, chicken and fish are expert level, everyone loved their meals, divine. I will be sharing my experience with all of our international teams. Wonderful place.
Great atmosphere with friendly staff, but not my first choice for a fine dining experience. The food lacks consistency and is not the best at times while amazing at others. The staff are usually very polite and friendly, and will make you feel very welcome. The seating arrangement is not something I would expect from a restaurant on the higher end of the spectrum, its very cramped and you don’t have much privacy hence I would definitely skip this place for work meetings or first dates. With all that being said this place is still an amazing restaurant and you will have a great time dining at it.
Overall, the food was good with the exception that the tomahawk had some parts that were not soft and it was really hard to chew them. If you love desserts like me order the mountain chocolate cake 100% worth it. I consider the service needs to improve in terms of friendliness.
Excellent service, ambience and quality of food! Our server seemed very passionate and knowledeable. There were endless wine selections. Steak was cut very thick and juicy. Highly recommend!😆
Food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The appetizers, steak, side dishes and desert were all top notch. The servings were generous, everything was cooked perfectly how we wanted it. Definitely a place to try once in your life.
This place gives me mixed feelings. The place is beautiful and the addition of the tent doubles the size. I was surprised at how warm and comfortable the tent was. The moment you walk in you can feel the high level of service and care given to each customer. The food is high in price but delicious. We started with seared for Gras which was grilled to perfection, The flavors were outstanding but the pear was not ready for the dish. My partner ordered the tagliatelle Di Mare. They said the seafood portion was really good but the pasta wasn't anything special. I ordered the Beverly Creek Farms lamb chops with a side of mashed potatoes. The lamb was cooked medium rare and to perfection. The potatoes were filling and the size of my partner's pasta bowl. Definitely worth the price. If I go again, I'd like to share with the table so I can try the dessert menu. Although the service was the best I've experienced in years, our waitress did disappear after dropping off our doggy bag. I think she was fantastic overall and appreciated her wishing us a happy anniversary. Finally the atmosphere, it's not for everyone. The music was loud and made me feel like a club or bar. My partner said they had issues hearing me from across the table. The DJ was awful taking good songs and butchering them for everyone to hear. Playing something like orchestrated pop music could work for a cross-between hip and classy. It's worth a try for anyone who loves steakhouses. Although pricey, I would dine again with friends and family.
Both steak and fish came with generous portion and the food was good. Steak tasted rich but was a bit below my expectations given the restaurant’s reputation and its price. Seafood was good. Mushroom had too much wine cooked into the taste so that it’s a bit too much. They don’t have Margarita in menu but they made one for me which was really nice.
Definitely a steep price, but makes sense for the quality of food, care and attention. Even with staff members. From the moment you walk through the doors to when you receive back your car from valet. I don’t have much complaints about any of the dishes. Even cleanliness of the restaurant to the bathroom. Definitely recommend for any special occasions.
Do yourself a favor and get a real developer to build you a useful website. The one you have today is useless and looks and feels like you don t want people to use it.
The steak was very simple, served without any sides and was disappointing. Restaurants like The Keg, Moxie s, or Baton Rouge offer much better quality than this one. I prefer the quality of those restaurants, which is far superior to this place. I will never visit this restaurant again.
Harbour 60 Is known as one of top rated stake houses in Toronto high quality food service and the wine and spirit selection is exquisite .... very nice private rooms
We Celebrated My Friend s Birthday there.
Top Tier service, food, ambiance.I got engaged here, 5years ago! The most exquisite dining experience ever! Will be back soon!
The ambiance, service & food is Number One. if you like the best & are willing to pay for it, than this is your restaurant. I have been coming here for years with family & friends.
Best atmosphere and amazing steak! You will not be disappointed
noel was an excellent SA who provided phenomenal service, would reccomend.
I was going through my photos 6 months after my birthday that I realized I had never written a review for my incredible experience at Harbour 60, my husband took me on my birthday. The food was amazing and exceptional service provided by Deepak. His attentiveness, attention to detail, and genuine desire to ensure our satisfaction were truly remarkable. I would highly recommend Harbour 60 to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. It is a place where the senses are indulged, the palate is delighted, and the soul is nourished. I cannot wait to return, perhaps for my husbands birthday, to relive this culinary adventure.
Overpriced food and outdated interior, old rickety bathrooms, cockroach included . Best part of this relic is the location and parking.
The most mid meal I ve ever had. Paid over $3,000 with friends and a McDonald s is better. Steak was tough, wagyu wasn t great, oysters were mid, seafood tower was not fresh, cocktails were basic and the only decent thing was the bread lol. Anyone who likes this place has no taste buds or appreciation for fine dining. Big Pete s and Victoria steakhouse blow this place out of the water. Harbour 60 should be left to the escorts who fake flex on Instagram. This place is so overrated lmao
A hostile environment, loved their food.
My wife booked a large private dining room for a milestone birthday party for the family. Everything was perfect.
perfectly suit for fine dining occasions, datings or business, variety of dishes and organized-course, fine price, fresh seafood and great tomahawk
Harbour 60 is an absolute gem! From the moment you step through the doors, youre greeted with elegance and sophistication. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, perfect for any occasion from a romantic dinner to a celebratory meal with friends. But its not just the ambiance that impresses the food is truly outstanding. Each dish is expertly crafted with the finest ingredients, resulting in flavors that are simply divine. Whether youre a steak aficionado or prefer seafood, Harbour 60 offers a culinary experience that exceeds expectations. And lets not forget about the service. The staff at Harbour 60 are attentive, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. From recommendations on wine pairings to accommodating special dietary requests, they truly excel in hospitality. Overall, Harbour 60 is a culinary destination that never disappoints. With its combination of exquisite food, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service, its no wonder why its one of Torontos premier dining establishments. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.
Been a few times. Amazing spot! Even better food!
Phenomenal food and great atmosphere. I believe our group was taken a little less seriously being in our early 20 s and dressed less elegantly for the night (even though our order was over $1,000). Still a good experience overall.
Food is mediocre but love the atmosphere
First time at Harbour 60 and definitely lived up to its reputation. The H60 Ribs and Lobster Mashed Potatoes are a must have. The service was wonderful and food came out on time and well seasoned. Will be back to try other items on the menu
My partner and I shared a spacious booth and lovely meal. Every plate we had was fantastic, from the ahi tuna starter to the New York steak. It was my partners birthday but I think they are too fancy to give you a cake or anything; it wasnt acknowledged by our server Jonathan throughout our meal and in any case we were too full for dessert. We did appreciate Jonathans enthusiasm towards suggesting menu items, it seems that many of them are his favourite. The drinks are incredibly overpriced and I would avoid indulging in these unless youre mr. gucci sweatshirt in chains that can order whatever he wants
Always an incredible experience dining at Harbour60. Hands down the best steaks in the city! Lisa and Teddy make my experience special everytime ! Highly recommend!
Great holiday dining
Wines that you have never heard of before
Great steak house. Service was excellent. Good spot to take a client. Food
Fantastic We went to this restaurant at the invitation of a friend and found its atmosphere warm and luxurious. Food
My favourite restaurant in Toronto but no family environment
Our experience was amazing! Upon calling to make our reservation, the staff on the phone was very helpful with our queries and helped us choose a time for our reservation based on the start time of our concert. We experienced traffic on the way there and they were very accommodating and understanding with our tardiness. When we arrived, we chose to park our car although there is valet, and we were seated at a very roomy table despite being a party of 2. Our servers were incredible, friendly, extremely attentive and very helpful with recommendations; one of them even brought out the various wagyu cuts to help us understand the difference to decide which one to order. Everything we ordered came out extremely quickly despite the restaurant being somewhat busy. Because we expressed we would be going to a concert after dinner, our server recommended coming back for drinks and dessert after the concert to avoid traffic, and we did which was the best decision ever! Despite us telling them we would be back for dessert, they gave us a complimentary slice of coconut cream pie! We tried the Oysters, the Caesar Salad, the Seafood Selection of the day which was a Black Cod, the Australian Rib Eye Wagyu steak, Truffle Mac n Cheese, the Broccolini, and the Vanilla Gelato and Raspberry Sorbet and everything was divine! Will be back again! Thanks for a great experience and evening!
The best steak place in the city! We had Jimmy as our server & he was amazing!!!
Big thank you to ONeil and Chimmy for the excellent service and accommodating 8 of us last minute as we had two huge celebrations that night. The service was outstanding. The meals were cooked to perfection and his recommendations were just superb. The precision to everything and exactly how we wanted the night to turn out was beyond our expectations so we are truly thankful. See you next time.
Toronto has a couple of steakhouses that can compete with some of the best in north america. Harbour 60 is not one of them. You pay more than you would at, say, Barberians but the meal - including the steak - doesnt seem obviously better than the keg... Jacobs and Co, Hys, Barberians, and BlueBlood all more worth it than Harbour 60
table for 9 for a birthday celebration and I just want to thank Olga (our server) for her excellent service, attention to detail, and for making our dinner an enjoyable experience.
Visited from Vancouver, with guests from Australia and PNG. Rented a private room. Food and service was second to none. Really enjoyed the experience and so did our guests.
Historic setting, parking, fabulous service....and yes, the best of the best food and selection, every time.
Harbour 60 is certainly an investment, the prices are steep and I m not entirely sure if it s worth it. The service when I went was very 50/50, during the service, the waiter felt as though he was looking down on my girlfriend and I, I think because of our young age. I m all for good service, but there were parts of the night in which it felt like our server was flirting with my girlfriend although I could be looking a little too deep into that. Also, something I found extremely strange was that when we got a Togo bag for our food, our server poured a bottle of water into it thinking we wouldn t see and then tried playing it off like nothing happened?? It was very bizarre and something I never experienced before in a restaurant regardless of status. I say the service was 50/50 because at the end of the meal, our server and I had a nice conversation about wagyu meat in which he recommended me a few butcher shops in Toronto and mentioned that the restaurant had an Australian wagyu which was cheaper and better than the Japanese A5 and also not on their menu. Also, the server went out of his way to hotspot my girlfriend so she could order us an Uber back home which I very much so appreciated the courtesy of. The food itself was rather hit or miss, the sides (we got the truffle Mac and cheese and truffle fries) were honestly nothing too special despite being rather large portions of food. I feel as though the price was justified in the portion sizing of the sides rather than the quality and I ve had better sides of each dish at different restaurants (stk for truffle fries and Ruth s Chris for Mac and cheese). The entrees themselves however were fantastic. My girlfriend s chicken entree was great in all aspects and my Japanese wagyu steak was everything I could ve hoped for in my first time trying wagyu. To put it in perspective, it was comparable to eating the piece of fat on a steak, but it was the entire steak if you can picture that. The ambiance was interesting to say the least. Harbour 60 has a much more casual vibe to say a place like ruth s Chris and is very unorthodox for a high-class steakhouse what with drake songs being played instead of day lounge music. This factor didn t hinder the experience however I did find it to be quite out of character for what I m traditionally accustomed to. Overall, I would say harbour 60 is worth checking out despite its flaws.
I made the reservation specifying that it would be our wedding anniversary and I thought it was wrong that they seated us right at the waiters station.
This was an amazing experience for dinner with great friends.
Super awesome. Great service from the whole team
Upscale place, had drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere! Had an bartender that knows his mixed drinks and he made me an awesome cocktail!
I went to Harbor 60 a number of years ago for a Christmas party with work and we had a really good time. The atmosphere was really nice and we were in the private room and the food was excellent. I went back very recently just to share a dessert and a drink with a coworker. The dessert shown on the picture is the Baked Alaska For Two, which was delicious although super sweet. The flambe of the dessert which gives this darker color to the meringue was quite the show and really gave it a nice little touch. That was a $26 dessert, which for two is actually reasonable. Now heres the reason why Im not giving a five-star across the board for my experience. I had ordered a beer as I am a beer drinker myself. I ordered a Guinness which was your regular tall can, since they dont serve beer on tap. That regular can was $12 (gasp). The waitress brought the can and a cone shaped type of glass as shown in the picture, which I pointed out as not being the right type of glass for that beer. Now this might sound a little snobby but when you come to such an upscale place where the New York strip steak is at $102, you would expect the beer to be served in the proper type of glass (at least that was *my* expectation and I think thats reasonable). Thats the reason why service only gets four stars out of five, even though our waitress was really helpful. To management: please get proper beer glasses, that would really help with the fact that you only serve beers in cans... A great experience nonetheless I would recommend you try it out but do keep in mind that it will definitely be on the higher end of your budget. Note: when I checked the website, a background upbeat music loaded right away and I was unable to turn it off except by closing the browser window... beware if you browse at work! :)
Great location for game nights at Scotiabank Arena. Service is great and quick to ensure you make puck drop. Food is good. Baked Alaska is AMAZING! Overall, I d recommend. Food : 5/5 |
Great food, awesome vibe and exceptional service. We went for dinner for my wifes birthday, everything was great--- but the best was our server Judy. Her warm hospitality and exceptional service truly elevated our evening into a memorable one. Thank you Judy, youre the best.
I dont like leaving bad reviews But when one goes to a place like this, one expects perfection. Well, this was not even close We were seated on the outdoor patio that was tented in the middle of a storm. Upon booking, it was not made clear that our table was outside. And we were told that indoor was fully booked and we couldnt move ( it didnt seem like it was fully booked) The tent was dark and noisy, and the wind was blowing, making the sides flop. The space was not properly heated. The service was excellent However, the food was barely edible It could have been great. Unfortunately, someone had a very heavy hand with the salt. We had the rossini filet. Meat was nice and tender, but the crust was salty, and the sauce was very salty. Anything it touched became way too salty We actually had to send back the lamb chops it was so salty Even the sides were over salted, Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. We had the baked Alaska for dessert. It looks cool, but it is pretty lame, and there was way too much alcohol on it. Its definitely not worth the price It was a very disappointing experience
Ribeye + mashed potatoes + asparagus is out of this world. Add in one of their red wines, fantastic.
Amazing food and excellent service, one of the best restaurants in the Toronto area forsure
Fantastic food and service!! Everything on the menu is perfect! Food
Real John Wick vibe. Two of us came in for dinner and the wait staff were beyond in their service. Chair changes for plus size guest. An emotional meal where a courteous understanding made things smoother. And food that made you forget your wows, made easier by the staff cutting up the meal for the one of us missing a hand. Could not recommend enough.
We had reservations for 5 to celebrate a millstone Birthday. The overall experience was amazing Andre and Jovan were simply amazing. They went over and above to make the night special for the Birthday boy. Know to talk about the food The New York Strip steak was cooked to perfection the Truffle pasta was amazing the sides onion rings hand cut fries and fried cauliflower was excellent The Cab sav and sauv blanc wine was excellent as was the service Jovan was wonderful and is so knowledgeable on the extensive Wine selection I can t say enough about the Service Also have to Thank the Kitchen Team our Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered the presentation was excellent and I am closing with the amazing and delicious Baked Alaska dessert wow 5 Stars Well Done!
My steak came out almost blue when I ordered a medium rare. The service was absolutely terrible. So incredibly unprofessional, no eye contact, no accountability. The worst part was the food poisoning we got afterwards. I really hope your staff and quality of food is high for everyone going forward because that was an extremely awful experience.
SPECTACULAR steaks and prices to match. You will not regret eating @ Harbour 60, you will however be a bit taken back if you are not on an expense account.........otherwise GO FOR IT, you will not be disappointed. Service is TOP NOTCH!
Let me say, the food was absolutley amazing. The food just kept getting better and better. Amazing service, James was GREAT! Always checked on us and made sure we were doing well. Had the greatest time with my family and it is safe to say we will be going back. The atmosphere was great. If you are going downtown and dont know where to have dinner go to Harbour 60!
Food and service are absolutely exceptional.
Celebrated many special milestones tonight, my birthday and also my bestfriends wedding anniversary and we couldnt have picked a better place to get together! Amazing food Amazing service Thank you everyone including all the management who came to greet and check on us & all the servers that took such great care of us. My steak and truffle mac was *Chefs kiss* delicious! cant wait to celebrate more moments here.
Sunday date night was lovely! The food was great no complaints there. The wagyu carpaccio was favourite of the night and 1000/10 would order again. The rib eye was perfectly cooked but the truffle butter just wasn t truffling. The lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were wonderful and the portions were great! Complimentary valet parking and cost check were a plus. The service was good but not absolutely amazing. The hostesses could be friendlier and less cold/uninterested but I ve noticed this is a trend across most Toronto restaurants within this price range. We have had better service at STK, Blue Blood and Akira Back. Overall, would come here again for the food but not until we try other restaurants in Toronto first.
It was an amazing dining experience. The food was incredible, and portions were huge. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the venue is such a warm and comfortable. Food
Fantastic special occasion meal with friends. High end meal and service!
Prices seem high but portions are big as well. Suggestion: all salads and sides ask to do half portions, they will end up being normal size portions. Halibut fish was very dry and overcooked. 1/5 Cesar salad 3/5 Ribeye 18oz À la carte , ordered medium but it was on medium well side. 3.5/5 Mashed potatoes nothing special 3/5 Asparagus nice and crunchy 3/5 Service was fast and servant was pleasant maybe because we were only table at the restaurant at that time . In general $400 for dinner like this for 2 is overpriced for an old style restaurant . New fusion restaurants have lots more to propose for this amount.
Amazing steakhouse with best selection of steaks and wines. Flavourful appetizers and salads. Portions are generous although the price is on the higher side. So keep that in mind when placing orders. Excellent presentations for dishes and desserts. Engulf yourself in the experience and a must visit if you are in downtown Toronto looking for an upscale dining location.
I cant believe there are good reviews for this so called restaurant Bad service, bad atmosphere on tents horrible food. Steak was disgusting (it was cut and very cold), we all got stomach ache after we ate there, not to mention over priced. Didn t have the steak we wanted, we had to settle for something else, didn t have wine we ordered again we got something else Staff very pushy in ordering the most expensive dishes on the menu
I went here today for my 29th birthday with my best friends. Samir took care of me really well. Showed me and my friends a great time. The hospitality was unmatched for sure! He went above and beyond for us and made my birthday extra special. I ll definitely come back and refer my friends. Thank you again Samir
Very good lobster
Enjoyed a really nice lunch here! The service was professional. The ambient was pleasant and the food was cooked yo the utmost deliciousness. Highly recommended for work lunch/dinner.
Came in on an oddly slow Friday night, sat at the bar. Had a few local beers and a cocktail while waiting for my wife. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Ended up being blown away by the wine list, other drink selections, and their dinner menu. Tons of options but above everything was the service. Bo at the bar, I couldn t speak higher about. Helped me with drinks, fluid conversation, showed me the entire place (kitchen included) without ever being in character or in work mode. All and all, awesome place, super big, great menu, but above all Best Customer Service I ve ever had in my life from this dude lol. Go in for drinks and food at the bar and ask for Bo (*Beau) . Highly highly recommend
Steak perfectly cooked, crispy fries and incredible drink
Great food and great service. Free coat check and valet service was nice addition. Food pricing is a bit steep but it is a high end Toronto restaurant so I get it. Cocktail pricing is absolutely criminal with no cocktail cheaper than $30. Good atmosphere but music a touch loud to have a conversation with your party but didnt take away from the evening I have been before and Ill be back.
Absolutely tremendous experience. Rib-eye was cooked to perfection. Food was all amazing. But truly what put it over the top was the service. The waiter was very attentive. Helpful with food suggestions and wine pairings. Overall just created the perfect ambiance for us to enjoy our night. Could not say enough good things. Shoutout to the amazing Hostess Lidya as well for being very helpful.
Visited Harbour 60 with client. Great service and good atmosphere. But restaurant was basically empty at lunch hour. Ordered shrimp cocktail, always good and short rib for appetizers. Short rib was very very good! After the appetizers, both of us were already full so we decided to have only a burger. I only ate the fries and took the burger home. The burger, in my opinion, was not good at all, not worth it (but warmed up). Overall ok.
Great steaks, service and atmosphere.
Free Bacon... how can you go wrong.
Great experience, excellent food and service. I didnt really enjoy that the restaurant smelt like alcohol the entire time. Something one cant really control, but given the narrow space provided, it felt a tad bit crammed also. Still a great place for food!
Great tasting food
amazing steak and terrific service
One of the best steakhouse restaurants anywhere. The food is always cooked perfectly. The service is always exceptional. I have never had a complaint leaving here. The wine selection is endless. Definitely check out the Mac and cheese and the bacon tower! Parking: Valet parking only or park in one of the surrounding parking lote
Had a nice lunch, the interior hostess was terribly rude- this was on Aug 24th at approx 1:45pm. At first we were seated in and arms length to the only other table within the confines of the dining room, very awkward as there is no music and we did not want to be so close to gentlemen in a lunch meeting. So we found that relocating to the patio and our hostess there along with Deepak, our server, was very attentive to our needs and wants.
Food absolutely outstanding , its worthwhile visiting.
Everything is amazing here. Love it every time
Amazing service with excellent food. Once arrived, we had valet parking service and a choice to sit either on the patio or inside. this was a most memorable meal. 10 out of 10. Every dish was incredibly delicious. desserts are also amazing. Overall one of the best steak houses in Toronto. The patio is beautiful!
Food is mediocre, price was astronomical. The steak (bone in ribeye) was under seasoned and underwhelming. Scallops were over seasoned. Shrimp was overcooked and tough. Oysters were miniscule. Short rib was tasty. The best main was the plain steamed lobster. Dessert was surprisingly delicious (coconut pie) after a generally otherwise unimpressive dinner. Definitely have had many better steaks and food in general in Toronto.
Date - Friday night, for two Seating Time - 9PM - 11:30 (mains took an excruciatingly long time to come out) Food Shrimp Cocktail - 48$ for 3 large shrimps that were very cold and overcooked resulting in a tough rubbery texture Oysters - 40$ for 6 tiny Malpeque oysters is not worth it Short Rib - 60? this was actually quite flavourful and tasty, though the meat was a bit dry Bone In Rib Eye - 140$ for relatively large steak, was very underseasoned and we ordered medium, but it leaned rare - theres no way the internal temperature was 140F. The fat marbling was extremely poor, I feel as if Ive purchased better quality steaks from Costco. Highly disappointed for the price. Deshelled Lobster - 125$ - honestly it was just a steamed lobster for an extremely high price tag. Coconut Cream Pie - 20$ - this was actually delicious. Would recommend - great textures and flavours. Service - excellent service from our waitress, no complaints there. Ambience/Vibe - were seated in an enclosed outdoor tent, with two screens showing the baseball game. Not very romantic or upscale - I feel like youd have a better time at Jacobs, Canoe, or Hy if youre looking for a steakhouse. In total - bill came out to close to 350$, and it definitely didnt taste like it. Overall - I was very disappointed by my experience and expected more from such a renowned establishment and such a hefty price point. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.
Great night all around between wine, appetizers and dinner. If you re lucky you ll have Ana provide the best service. Her personality and exceptional service made our night memorable. Highly recommend!
Stockton to have baked Alaska after a Blue Jays game. We were stopped after getting to the bar and told we could not eat here. We were taking taxes and in my opinion we were fine. However I guess the house decides
The food, the service, the experience was beyond belief. Joe, Paul, and Mario, made it the best Anniversary of all 49
For a high end restaurant and a steakhouse we were served the absolute worst cut of steak we have ever experienced. The only thing worse was the indifference of the server. We were not check in and our drinks were not attended to. It was a week night and not very busy so there should not been a reason for the poor service and the even worse food. Bill was nearly $400. Incredibly overpriced for the food and service. Spend your money wisely. This is not it!! Wish I would have read David Weis s review prior to our visit. He is spot on.
One of the best steakhouses! Nicole, our waitress took exceptional care of us. What a memorable night. Thanks.
Its not like it used to be. Seafood pasta had little seafood and very bland. Read other reviews they said the exact same think, bland.Crabcakes just OK, side of Brussel sprouts I guess put on grill were burnt, side of mushrooms were just tiny little ones , they used to be big, not the same as it used to be. My $50 glass of wine was good. Good service Parking: Nothing more
Harbour 60 Toronto I found the ambiance to be charming, with the environment contributing to 30% of the experience. The Baked Alaska was visually appealing, but the brownie was a bit dense. The two flavors of ice cream were enjoyable. I also liked the Martini, as long as it was well-made. The arugula salad was decent, and the scallop dish had unique flavors. However, the Tuna Tartar with avocado was good together but a bit salty towards the end. Overall, I didnt regret going, but didnt find it exceptionally impressive. The ingredients and service were good, but the cooking was on par with the expected level for the price. Parking: Valet parking is very good.
Amazing steak and wine list. Our server was a tad less than expected from a fine dining experience but not terrible
Stellar steak house in the heart of downtown Toronto. Jammed packed restaurant with a fun vibe. Steak and seafood are seriously stellar. Gigantic portions and delicious flavours. Second time here and consistently great! Highly recommend.
Was left wanting more after my first time there. Food was good. Steaks were the highlight. We were seated in the tent and kinda felt left out . Mac and cheese was bland, and tasted like it was at temperature all day and then served at dinner, French fries were okay too over cooked. But the best was the steak.
I think things have changed here over the years the food isn t as great as before. They also lost my friends food when packaging it and then it suddenly reappeared your really paying for the ambience here.
Love this place. Great location (especially if youre going to the game). Walkable from a lot of hotels. The vibe is great. Lots of sharable appys and great steaks. We shared the tomahawk amongst 4 with burratta, tartar, tuna, and lobster mac and cheese!!! It was perfect.
Great food, amazing setting. Unaffordable prices
Nice spot
top notch service and steaks, will definitely be back
We had such a great experience at Harbour 60! My friend and I were visiting from Los Angeles and were so well taken care of. I had the best help from our server O neill. We started with tuna tar tar and he recommended a beautiful red wine that paired well with our 14 oz filet. For dessert we had the delicious coconut cream pie! Everything was amazing, we loved the vibe, and O neill was so helpful and gave the best suggestions. Definitely will have to go back next time we are in town.
Amazing food and service. Definitely one of our favourite places to dine in Toronto! They do not have high chairs for small children, however we were happily accommodated with a booth. Highly recommend: the watermelon and feta salad, jumbo tempura shrimp, dop burrata, bone in rib eye, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. Their cocktails are always delicious and refreshing as well! 10/10 for sure.
To be fair, I only had the burger and it was on par with A&W
I took my boyfriend here, who is from Philly, and we had a wonderful experience. Being from Toronto all my life, I ve heard nothing but good things about this place and I m so glad it lived up to my expectations! Our server, Madison, was extremely attentive and helpful in guiding us throughout the menu and made our experience even better with her friendliness and overall amazing service skills! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and I d love to come back soon! <3
great service and max and chesse is bomb lol
O neil was our waiter and the service was absolutely perfect, the food 10/10, music and atmosphere was everything you could ask for. Will definitely be back in the future, Thanks O neil for a memorable experience!!!!
Service and food were phenomenal
Great food terrible service apart from the waiter he was great
Service was amazing, food is also pretty good but cost quite a bit
Exceptional. From the moment we walked in to until our departure the whole team was professional, courteous and accommodating. Liz and Alex the hospitality we received from you both was what really made our experience as you both took a vested interest in guiding us into the right direction, everything was so well timed. The food was delicious and executed really well. Great ambiance and clean. You are all doing a fantastic job.
Special shout out to Steven - who is a phenomenal waiter! Very well mannered, presentation was on point and we enjoyed our dinning experience... Handled our table of 8 people with ease and utmost professionalism. Thanks again
I havent been here in 20 years, then steaks were 50 bucks, today they are 100 buck plus, but I didnt care bc a friend took me for my 60th birthday and we had a great steak, good wine and excellent service Parking: Parking was 25 bucks at lunch
Good food and service also. It s high level price and service Wheelchair accessibility: Available Food : 5/5 |
Steak too thick and not worth the price, plus valet parking service is not professional, the staff does not wear restaurant badges and when I asked them how much is the price? They replied up to you . Really confused
Atmosphere isn t worth the price. It was a classy place but is very common now and not worth the money. Tacky neon and large screen tv made it more of a tacky bar atmosphere. The smell of pot at the front door was overwhelming and the washrooms were dirty. Not somewhere for a romantic dinner unless you re happy with the game crowd in sweats, jerseys, and running shoes. Just another iconic place reduced to the common denominator.
I spent way too much at this place, and the food was at best 1 star out of 5 for me. I got the lamb and lobster mashed. The lobster mashed was the only thing I didnt mind eating. The lamb needs work. Overall, I wouldnt go back here again. I was disappointed, to be honest. Our server was nice. It was a beautiful restaurant. Just the food was not satisfying for the amount of money they charged me.
The food and service could not save this place. Perhaps it was our ignorance of not looking up more information on this place earlier, but we were expecting a old school steakhouse, not a Miami Vibe where we would be seated in a heated tent. The tent bench seats were terrible as the table next to us kept moving forward and backwards and the entire bench shook everytime. Also, not to do with the restaurant, but where is the class? You dont sit in a public restaurant and put your foot onto the seating area. As I mentioned, the food, specifically the short ribs were amazing and the duck confit fried rice was great. The rib eye was slightly under seasoned, but super tender. Our server Alex, was very nice and attentive. Certainly this place might be a good fit for some people, but if youre looking for an old school Steakhouse, this is no longer the place to go. Sorely disappointed in that respect.
Harbour 60 Toronto was such a amazing place, took in a party of 11 in such short notice on a busy Saturday night. The staff was absolutely amazing treated us so well and the food was so amazing. Such a great place and experience to come here thank you so much!!!!
My boyfriend and I were celebrating our two year anniversary, and we heard good things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We were extremely disappointed with the service and the food To our surprise when we arrived we were in a tent, completely unaware as to why this was we still wanted to continue the night (but having our anniversary in a tent was not how we intended to spend our evening). To that, for the price of food you would expect a high class sophistication- not to feel as we were in the middle of a bar crawl with TVs and bright lights. Now the service was okay, nothing to ride home about - again not for what you expect with the price point. My boyfriend ordered the 10 oz Filet Mignon, as he works in the industry, he does know his food. To him it was a bit too expensive for what he got, but he did enjoy it. Now, I am not a huge steak person, but I do expect there to be options that are not steak related. I do understand it is not what they specialize, but I would expect that for the price point that it should at least be edible. I ordered a Mushroom pasta, for the life of me I can t remember the official name, but it was completely awful. I could not eat it, nor could my boyfriend - it was completely devoid of flavour. Exasperated for the price, we had to send it back - which we rarely do. From there, as there was not a ton of options for me, I already lost my appetite so I decided to get something that should not be difficult to mess up - calamari. Again, bland could not eat it. At this point, I had asked for the manager just to ensure that we would not get charged for these items. I would expect him to at least offer to cover something from our bill, but no he offered us nothing for my terrible meal. Save yourself a few hundred dollars and steer clear.
This restaurant is very much overrated !! The food was very average for the super high price. Our server was very good and attentive i must say but the manager and the sommelier were out of touch!! We ordered our food and wanted to spend 200$ plus on a good bottle of wine but by the time he came back with our bottle we were practically almost done with the meal. Our waitress noticed and offered a free desert to compensate for the wait which was very nice but then we were full. We opted for two cocktails instead and that was appreciated however we barely had time to drink them as they told us we had to leave because they wanted to accommodate people coming in after the hockey game near by. We had already spend 550$ already in the two hours we were there and we were going to have more drinks since it was only 10pm but they were not accommodating at all. We probably would have had the same amount of drinks as two people would have had coming from game but it didn t matter to them that we had spent 500$ upwards for dinner and they said it didn t matter how much people spend they just want to try to accommodate everyone. I thought they would value high paying costumers but they really don t care obviously. Weird way to run a business in my opinion! If you want a good dinner they are plenty of good restaurants in Toronto like Don Alfonso for example , right around the corner for H60 and you ll get much better food/service for that money!! We won t have dinner there again perhaps just a few drinks late at night as they seem to care more for that type of customers!
First, when we got here for our table, we got sat in their tent. Which smells like sewage. Husband and I ordered the tomahawk, and I even said I cant believe Im ordering a steak in a tent. But then it arrived. It was blue rare, when we ordered medium rare. I never like to send food back, but I couldnt eat it. It was horrible. So they took it back, and pretended to cook it more. Mind you it was already cut to serve yet they thought they would cook it some more. They brought it back and it was still raw! I said Im sorry but I cant eat that. So they took it back again to cook it. Brought it back and its like they did nothing, and then was told they tend to under cook it at their restaurant. Why would you start cooking steaks at your own ratings when their is a universal chart for cooking steaks!! It was not true, they just didnt want to own up to it. So I didnt eat it. Oh but they bought us a drinknon the house for the inconvenience. Mind you the drinks were 20 each and the tomahawkwas 275. Then they packed it up for us and I purposely left it at the table as I didnt want it. They ran after us and pasted it to us while we were walking out. So, just as I was walking out the door, I gladly left it there for them. Maybe they can try to cook it more for themselves. We will never return. Horrible service. Oh, and the waiter was rude as well telling me ribeye cooks different. Im a bit of a snob with steak, so yes, I know how its cooked. Maybe it was your chef that night that didnt know how its cooked! Unbelievable
It s only great and not exceptional. Although priced otherwise. There are better steakhouses in Toronto than H60 but location wise this is perfect specially if you re heading to Scotia Arena for a game or concert.
Amazing upscale dinning experience. Fiancé and I went for date night and we re craving a nice juicy steak. Everything was great especially the Truffle Mac and cheese. I would say the Rib eye steak needed just a sprinkle of salt but aside from that. We truly enjoyed our night. For dessert; I really wanted to get the baked Alaska cause I could smell it all throughout the restaurant but we were very full and ended up getting the Molten chocolate cake which was delicious. Thank you to our server O Neil. He took great care of us and made great recommendations.
We had a great dinner. The staff was very helpful throughout the night. Nick helped guide us throughout the night with perfect recommendations. All steaks were perfectly prepared. We can t wait to return.
Went for dinner before the game and food was good and service was good aswell, except glass of red wine tasted as it was going bad. We went to the raptors game and came back for desert and coffee after. They proceeded to take 30 minutes to bring to pieces of pie, and proceeded to take another 15 minutes to bring espressos and cocktails. Coffee were cold and all we got were excuses. Not for nothing but to go out for dinner and spend $700 and get the worst experience at a restaurant Ive had in a while, I was very disappointed. Ive been there many times before and I will not be going back for along time,
Great Service, with Top of the line staff. food was great
Amazing food and service
Gorgeous atmosphere and delicious food! The only thing I disliked would be the coldness inside during winter, y all need some more heaters or insulation for the downstairs dining area. Other than that, everything else is 10/10.
Bianca was the star of the show, I m so glad she was our server. She made our night and I would come back to receive the same atmosphere with her being here. Shout out to her.
I have never seen more ludicrous prices in my life. $120 for an 11 Oz filet minion. $22 for a side of fries or a bowl of mushrooms?! $30 for a glass of Pinot Grigio? The food was good but no better than I can make at home. We were in the tent portion of the restaurant. Service was friendly but waited an hour for food. I don t mind paying top dollar for quality but I felt the food was average and the price was atrocious. 4 of us ate. Split salads and steak as portions are huge. We had 4 glasses of wine.Bill was $650 for essentially 2 dinners. Never again. Keg is as good and 1/2 the price. Harbor 60 over rated and stupid prices.
You get an average meal served in a tent that is the parking lot for a thousand dollars. You are in a beer tent in the parking lot.
Just adore this steakhouse and the atmosphere. Always a delight in any season. Elegant meal in well appointed comfortable rooms. Everything always cooked to your taste and perfection. Great wine bottle list. Attention to detail is most welcome experience.
High class dining experience in the heart of Toronto. Meals are priced at a premium, but with quality and service to match. Highly recommended for a special evening or to impress customers
The place boasts of upscale dining with high prices and good service but they fail in all aspects. The food was mediocre compared to the price. The service was very slow. They placed a 2 hr time limit on a table we had a reservation for. They were so slow we couldn t have even thought about dessert. Despite the time limit, we were offered a desert menu with campfire s mores for $20. Honestly, you can get the same quality of food, better service, and a better atmosphere by staying home, cooking your own steak, and making s mores on a real campfire. It d run you $50 not $500.
Excellent service, gorgeous patio decor/ambiance and delicious desserts. Unfortunately the steak sucked, we ordered medium and we got it rare. Had to send the steak back to the kitchen. For a steak place, you d think they ll get it right the first time.
Amazing place with great ambience.
Great food and service. Super loud after a raptors game, negatively affects the ambience.
Great atmosphere, service, and food... Definitely pricey, but you dont go here with the intention of saving.. loved it
Stuffy upscale and overpriced. Paying for location and the name.
11 out 10 had a lobster pasta special was spectacular....Miami design district has a famed restaurant called Contessa...H60 could teach them a few things..
Love this place! Great food, great atmosphere! Big fun.
Came here for a corporate event and the staff and food was amazing! The veal sandwiches were absolutely delicious - can t wait to come back and try their famous steaks. Food : 5/5
Food was really good, service was awesome. Price was insane. I thought the food was really good, but I am questioning if it really matches what you pay for it. First, the steak prices are very high... from $95 - $500 for the high end Wagyu style. I can see the $95 price range, but not sure about the $250 range. Also, the prices include nothing. The asparagus side was good, but $26? It just seemed to me that the prices were outside of the realm of reasonable. I still have to give it a good rating.. because the steak was good, that $26 asparagus was tasty. The service was amazing, which it better be for the price. The ambiance was cool. I liked everything about the place, and would have loved it if the prices were about 50% lower :-)
My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Harbour 60 last night, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the delectable food to the impeccable service and inviting atmosphere, this steakhouse truly stands out. However, what made our evening truly unforgettable was the outstanding service we received from our server, Bianca. Bianca went above and beyond in ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, she exhibited a level of attentiveness that is rare to find. Not only did she flawlessly navigate the menu and provide insightful recommendations, but she also engaged us in delightful conversation, adding a personal touch to our evening. In fact, weve already decided that our future reservations will be specifically within Biancas section. Once again, Thank you, Bianca, for making our experience truly special. Sincerely, Your grateful guests, Hish and P! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps were present.
My son surprised me and took me out for my birthday. Everything was excellent!
In a word: overrated. Went here to celebrate a family members birthday and ordered steak, fries, and lobster mac and cheese as the mains. The steak was extremely dry and the lobster was too fishy, but the fries had a nice crisp. The only redeeming factor of this restaurant is their desserts, which stun both in appearance and in taste. The build-your-own-s mores kit was fun to use and tasted incredible, and the lava cake was the perfect temperature on the inside to mix well with the ice cream.
Perfect for any special occasion
Appalling bad. Firstly. We ate in a tent in the parking lot decorated like a Miami pool party from 2005. I was expecting a high end steak house. Everytime the waiter walked by, my chair wobbled like I was in a fun house. Now the terrible food. Calamari was tasteless and rubbery. Not remotely fresh. I make better Ceasar salad dressing at home. Wagyu carpaccio was actually nice. $98 filet Mignon was not seasoned at all or aged. Completely tasteless. Service should be way better for this price point. Lastly, everyone at the table had stomach issues after the meal. They should be ashamed to charge these kind of prices and serve such poor quality food. Honestly, if youre out for a steak, go to the Keg instead.
Great service by all staff. The wagu was not a good as I have had before.
The food was deliclous. The wait staff were excellent. The ambiance was beautiful. The prices have risen incredibly. More expensive than Ruths Chris and Mortens
A place to be when you just wanna vibe and enjoy the moment while it last
