Krazy Roll in Toronto

Pretty good sushi place. Their prices aren t bad, and flavours are okay. They have good seating inside, and it s right by the lake so you get a nice atmosphere. I recommend trying their tempura and their bento boxes.

Was in a rush to get a proper bite before Cirque and I would come back to this place. Got some sushi and pork large and both our meals were big portions and delicious, it came out really quick and the service was very cordial.

A small family restaurant on the Lakeshore with super friendly people, delicious authentic food and a nice view on the lake. We will definitely go there again.

One of the best sushi places I ve tried in Toronto. Flavours are clean and fresh. Servings are good, and prices are reasonable as well. A must try if you re in the neighborhood!

Ordered take out and it was prepared quite quickly. Probably the freshest tasting fish, you could tell the quality of fish is really considered. I have been to some other sushi restaurants and honestly they do not compare to the quality we had at Krazy Roll. I will definitely be returning, the food was amazing and the staff seemed very pleasant.

This place is the best sushi spot in the area. The people who own and operate it are extremely nice and friendly. The food is always incredibly fresh and tasty. It is located in a lovely spot overlooking the lake. As I write this review I m already craving their sushi again.

The Best Family run Sushi Restaurant in Humberbay!! Absolutely love the food. Everything on the menu is delicious. My daughter and I love going there for Friday night dinner. The Service is excellent, their always so friendly and loving. Love this cozy spot!!

This is my go to spot for Japanese food in the neighbourhood. Its always fresh and delicious. Small mom and pop operation. Support local, and if you can afford it, tip even for take out. Vegetarian options are plentiful!

I wish I read the comments before going inside the restaurant and honestly I agree with one comment about the rude waitress (senior woman). The minute we went inside she was rude and refused to greet us back. I believe they have an issue with people that are dark skin.

Best sushi in the area! Everything sticks to the roll! Sushi pizza FTW! Some sushi places when you pick up a roll it falls apart (not a big fan of scooping pieces/everything falling on the soy sauce dipper)

Ordered a sashimi combo and a vegetarian maki combo, overall pleasant experience and tasty food. Good service,and reasonable price. Dishes came with some plastic decor to add height. Worth a visit!

Everything is good here. I usually get the salmon terriyaki special or I get rolls. I got the spicy salmon sushi burrito this last time which was awesome. They re back to dining in or you can call in for takeout. They re not on the delivery apps so don t waste your time looking!

Got my first Sushi rolls here, ballerina spicy California and salmon. They were delicious. Recommended for anyone in Lakeshore or Marine parade drive. Service is very generous and the people who work there seem very friendly. Arigato Gozaimuz.

Sashimi thin and small compared to price i paid $33 for this dish. Service is so so. Go for lunch much cheaper. But if you want sashimi go somewhere else.

Food is really really good. Had some rolls and some nigiri and the fish is top notch quality. Scallops were insane, and so was their aburi salmon. Staff is great, place is clean and comfortable. Will come back for sure!

This is a hidden gem situated quietly in park lawn area. Being from Vancouver, Ive had a hard time finding sushi restaurants in Toronto that are a fresh as Vancouver and this place definitely meets the standards!! A warm family fun feel and clean restaurant. The miso soup is always hot and the teriyaki chicken is made from chicken breat! The tempura is hot and crispy. It has definitely become my weekly dinner spot! Highly recommend!

The place is clean and quiet exactly what you except from a sushi place ! My take out order was made in front of me TAKE-OUT COMBO L1 the sushi were good ,the rice was perfect temperature and texture !

It is a great place to have lunch after walking along the gorgeous lakeshore. Not the best Sashimi nor Teriyaki, however best value lunch combo. Miso soup and tempura have special favor that stands out from many sushi places. I like their sushi rice mixed with purple rice, a healthier version. Friendly and clean environment.

Love it here. The family that runs this place are the nicest, sweetest people. The food is always consistently good. The tempura batter is always fresh. The spicy salmon hand rolls are bomb. It s always quick and easy here.

This place is a hidden/not hidden gem. Its location is great for foot traffic and locals. But the quality of the food is amazing. So flavourful and fresh. This place was recommended by a good friend who lives in the area and am not disappointed. This is very much a place to try.

I wish I could give a minus rating. Havent tried the food there, let me start by sharing they put the wrong stickers on my food and I did a take out so after reaching home I realized it. Called them and after numerous calls, they asked me to bring food back ( extra gas ). After reaching there the lady told me its my order and they just put the wrong sticker/invoice, seriously you could have told me this over the phone. Wasnt interested much to eat from there anyways after that so returned it / garbage. For sure not going back for the services. Happened in the fall this year.

Always fresh and delicious

I m a valuable customer, and I think this is my fortyth time with this restaurant (because my wife loves their sushi), so that s why my experience is not just for one time. The sushi is perfect, but the customer service is awful. They treat me like I don t even exist. They never say hello, greet me, or say, Enjoy your meal.Nothing at all, specifically the old lady, but all of them are so unfriendly and unprofessional. Just pay with the machine. I saw several times how they treated other guys.This is not the way you treat people. Think about diversity in Canada. We are all equal here. And I had an awful experience tonight, so I want to share it here. I m never going back to this Japanese restaurant.

Nice family run business. Have experienced consistently good sushi combo platter every few weeks for two people with thick slices of sashimi, hot miso and cold crunchy salad. Glad to see them make it through the pandemic on takeout! We re fans.

The sushi here is ok but nothing to rave over. The prices are definitely too high given their quality and quantity. Sushi is ok, but Im not a fan of the purple rice. Portions are on the smaller side. They also close way too early.

Mmmm my stomach churns when I have sushi here. The chained up Canadian Tire plastic tables and chairs in the front patio area make it so warm and welcoming.

Rudest waiter ever. Just spent $30 on take out. I told one server that I was going to eat a bit of my salad as I waited for the chef to make my roll. He didn t say anything. I needed to take a quick bite bc I m hypoglycaemic and wasn t feeling well. The other waiter told me that I wasn t allowed to eat my take out at the table. Dude, why so super petty??? There was nobody in the restaurant and you only have 5 tables to serve people. It s 2 hours after lunch and there was one other customer. I d understand if it was busy but it was just me and one other person in there! PS- just saw the reply from the owner. No, he did not say for next time , he said that I wasn t allowed to eat my take out at the table and he was very direct about it so I got up immediately. By the way, let me educate you about hypoglycaemia- when we are in the throes of our medical situation, we don t have the energy to have a conversation. Just an FYI. And no I wasn t angry, just not feeling well and had to get out of there so I could eat somewhere else and not pass out. I m a local and I definately won t be eating here again.

It was good. Not great or excellent. Skimpy sashimi pieces but relatively fresh. No flavour that was out of this world. Just average.

Small portions - average tasting

Great option for sushi by the lake. They are not stingy with the fish and the taste is def there. I would def reccomend it anyone in the mood for sushi!

I dont normally leave reviews but my family and I had a very unpleasant experience here. We are darker skinned and the moment we walked in we were treated very poorly by the older woman working at the front. She then told us to wait outside of the restaurant for our food, something Ive never heard of. There was a guy with a lighter complexion who was allowed to wait inside for his food, but they demanded us to wait outside despite simply ordering our food, and being polite. Based on some other reviews clearly Im not the only one thats had this experience. So read into this comment what you will. Toronto is a diverse city and if you have a business here you should embrace serving customers of all backgrounds Edit: It was quite obvious to the other customer that something was wrong with your behavior. Please improve your customer service and communication skills. As a business you should treat customers with more respect. Ive already shared my experience with others

Ive been to far too many sushi restaurants but none of them are as high quality as this one. Krazy roll is Krazy good and its as close as it gets to the authentic sushi Ive had the pleasure of eating in Japan. The quality of ingredients by far exceed 90% of sushi restaurants in the GTA. Would highly recommend if youre looking for sushi.

Love their sushi, I am a regular customer and have always gotten fresh sushi from here. Very decent price for the stuff you get. I havent tried their dine in but during covid times , good take out is gold.

they have worked hard to maintain top quality and keep pricing very reasonable . super friendly staff, standard purple rice on even as simple as a California roll , and do the classics like agedaahi tofu and tempura right...they even use the non dyed white pickled ginger with dishes hope they stay around for years to come

Ordered takeout and went to pick up, THERE WAS BLOOD ON MY BAG. No apology. I was so stunned I didn t take a picture. And I don t think they were wearing masks. Literally traumatized. Never again.

Was walking the lakeshore trail and decided to stop at this place. Im glad we did. We got the Torched Salmon Love and Torched Tuna Love. So delicious!! This will become a go-to place for me and my wife for our sushi cravings!

Stumbled upon Krazy Roll while bike riding along the waterfront trail. Had the Aburi Sushi dinner which was delicious! It was freshly made with fresh fish and just the right amount of flame torch. Definitely will be back.

Their fish is fresh and delicious. I also really like that they use purple rice. My go to sushi place in the neighborhood. I always get the chirashi and the spicy rainbow roll is really good too.

Decent taste, but very small portion/ over priced (compared to other options in nearby neighbourhoods), and it s been getting more so over the years. However given it s the only few sushi options along the lake in the neighbourhood, I ll return in the future.

Favourite Sushi in the area, would argue it s one of the best in the GTA as well. Family run spot and they always come through with fresh and tasty ingredients! Their purple rice is a nice added bonus. Personal favourite is their sushi, sashimi and roll combos, they are also flexible if you want to sub any of the rolls!

Very nice sushi takeout.

Not worth the price. Im usually generous with reviews, as Im not picky, but I felt robbed after finishing my meal. Chicken teriyaki was just regular grilled chicken with sauce on top. They didnt even fill up the rice tray, and rice is cheap! Salad was definitely not fresh. Sushi was ok, slightly better than grocery store sushi. And the price was ok for the quality. Maybe I came in on a bad day, but I just cant recommend it or see myself coming back. Sorry.

Everytime I go for a walk on Lakeshore, I have to stop by and get some Crazy Boy and Crazy Girl sushi. It is so good! Great value and great taste!

One of my favourite sushi spots in the Humber Bay Shores area! Key things to know: - their website isn t updated so the only way to check for their menu is on Zomato or in front of their restaurant - they get busy on weekends so expect a 40-1 hour wait time when you call to order (it s not always like this but it can happen) Otherwise the dragon roll, chicken katsu, miso soup, and cream cheese roll are all delicious!! The family that runs it is super nice and attentive.

Honestly, the food/the portions themselves are very good. The problem with this place is: 1) Very unfriendly staff 2) No integrations with *any* delivery/pickup app and inaccurate website/menu

It was a third time I ordered a take out food from this place in less than ten days, that is how good their food is. I certainly will order from them soon again. I cant wait that this terrible pandemic ends so I can eat in their cozy restaurant.

My favorite sushi place. They use purple rice which is way better than white rice. Much better texture and flavor. Fish is of higher quality, unagi is tender and easily separated. This fish is one of the indicators of a quality sushi place. Also service is friendly and efficient. Fair prices. Five stars

Was here on Friday for take out. Only 1 star because: the lady did not wipe down the pin pad, no masks being worn inside the very small area, and the entrance did not have a handicap button to open the door. Oh! And the stomach upset from my tuna love Your mileage may vary ....

Best sushi experience; quality, display, service, and quality (yes again) - amazing! Torched Box Salmon is definitely recommended. Probably the best quality sashimi and sasimi cuts in the area. They also serve purple rice with their sushi. Their Miso soup is also superb.

Have passed by this restaurant many times, but finally decided to give it a try. A few sets of rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and packed with flavour; not overstuffed with rice as is usually the case at many sushi takeouts. Will definitely be coming back.
