It s terrible sushi. The black dragon sushi is with crab meat and cucumber. Nothing special and tasteless. However it s not cheap :)

Another time another amazing experience! They are awesome!

The veggie poke is delicious and the smoothie is fresh cut fruits. Perfect place for a clean and healthy eating and beverages

I recently visited this restaurant, and it was a terrible experience. The sushi was not fresh and had a bad odor, making it inedible. The smoothie was equally disappointing, lacking flavor and tasting artificial. Overall, this place is terrible, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

We ordered the Using Chicken and Chicken Bibimbap. Absolutely incredible. Would order again. Service was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again. Nice atmosphere too.

This place was a cute and wonderful discovery on one of my late night soiree. The sashimi bibimbap I ordered was OMG delicious. Service was amazing. Cant wait to come back again.

Worst coffee ever.

Didn t quite like the service, it was fine but not friendly. The macaroons were not good, I liked the matcha latte even though it was sweeter than I ve expected .. I haven t tried the food. Overall, the atmosphere was quiet and calm..

The freshness of the sashimi platter is exceptional!!! I also tried eel/Unagi sushi, and it stands out! Excellent choice if you would like to support a family business that purchases their fresh seafood on a daily basis!

We were looking for a bathroom on NYE and stumbled across this cute cafe. The staff were incredibly kind. Their white hot chocolate was absolutely delicious.

finished a two hr walk and saw this little shop on my way to my destination. needed to fill time and my stomach; tried the rainbow roll with a miso soup! so delicious, big and hit the spot. soup was for the soul. but main reason for review was the man with glasses and hat! sweet genuine vibes, i wish him and this restaurant the best

Visited Lemon Tree with a friend. We ordered sashimi poke and salmon roll (1 here and 1 to go), so all three of us - my friend, me and her son, for whom she took to go were poisoned. Today we are filling very bad after having meal there, so please be aware.

Me and my friend had lunch at this place on march 29, 2023. We both got food poisoning. I ordered salmon avocado rolls, and she ordered salmon poke. I also bought the same rolls to go for my son and he also got poisoned. This restaurant should change its fish supplier.

I ordered roll palter in here. It was so amazing and every fishes are sooo fresh, every salmon was so thick and fresh if you guys go to this restaurant have to eat plater! So reasonable cost :) Everyone enjoyed this time :)

Very Good Taste

This is hands down the best ala carte sushi place in the six! So fresh and well made!

Nice people and good sushi. Generous w fish and delicious purple rice. Even side accompaniments, like the ginger/wasabi, seemed a cut above other nearby Toronto sushi spots.

Came by this place wanting to order a sushi platter. The rice was the purple rice which was fine. The quality of the sashimi and sushi were good. The price was fair. $90 for 60 pieces of sushi + roll + sashimi. Most importantly the sashimi tasted fresh which at times might be hard to find in DT. Definitely worth checking out.

Staff is very friendly, seems like a family business. The coffee and food are okay though.

Sushi is great. They use Korean rice so the rice is a little purple color. But the flavor is amazing. I recommend the dynamite roll The milk tea had pretty good flavor. But the tapioca wasnt too amazing. Not bad for its price point though.

Fresh and tasty fish. On the pricier side, and wished the omakase had more variety.

Could have been really good but 1) they mixed vegetarian with non vegetarian sushi, all un one box. 2) We ordered 3 different sushis and only got 2 bag of soy sauce for all of it, delivered with ubereat, so nothing we can do. Had to eat the sushis with no soy sauce. 3) Zero ustencils, not even the sticks.

Sushi s my favourite food, so needless to say, I can be quite particular about it. This place has the BEST green dragon role I ve ever had, and the poke bowl was lovely as well. The gentleman running the shop was also very kind and provided amazing service. I highly recommend!

Amazing service and delicious food!

One of the best in the city. The rice is better, the fish is better and the craftsmanship is superb. This is what I crave now.

Stopped there late at night. Got a coffle, ham and cheese croissant, iced dark chocolate latte and blueberry tea. When I say everything was delicious I mean it. The latte was sweet but not overly so, the blueberry tea was legitimately just hot water and blueberries, the sandwich was fresh and delicious and the coffle was the perfect dessert. 10/10 highly recommend.

Wasnt expecting to find full blueberries in my blueberry tea, that would explain why it was so good! Their coffles are also delicious! Definitely going to be paying another visit!

Just dont eat here, waste of money. Its homemade kimbap made with vinegary rice, not sushi

We ordered Spicy crab roll and Rainbow roll. Foods were prepared right on time and packed really well! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the food very well. Also he said it s the best roll in his life and I agree with it. We will love to visit again when we comeback for Toronto trip!!

First time here for late night meal. Very nice experience. Got the strawberry-limeade, 12 pc sushi, beef tataki, california roll and condensed milk croffle. Everything tasted fantastic!! Jane and Kim are the best! They are very hospitable and sweet. The interior is cozy and clean. They open until 2am so I ll definitely be back to satisfy my late night hunger.

This place is a hidden gem. Brought my out of town friend here for lunch and we were both amazed. The rolls were super fresh and tasty. Despite us ordering classics like spicy salmon and dynamite, the food managed to taste (and look) unique from any experience either of us had had. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will be coming back!!

Its a gem that we randomly chose. The chef and the waiter was very friendly. We ordered: bibimbab: the taste was perfect, the rice was mixed with purple rice. Rolls: the proportion was perfect, not too thick rice and little protein. Sushi: so fresh. Even Wasabi taste right, spicy or hot. Will go again if I am in the neighborhood. Recommended!

This place is run by a very friendly Korean family! Ive been here twice and I was received warmly both times even though I only came to get a drink. I love their fruit tea. I was impressed that they used real strawberry puree for my strawberry green tea. So many bubble tea places out there cut corners by giving you fruit juice instead of the real thing. The best part is how customizable it is - you can choose your tea base and the fruit. The prices are kinda steep (especially if you get it iced) but in terms of quality and service, its up there. I hope to try the sushi one day.

Never realized this was here on Queen street so I decided to try it, probably one of the best sushi you could ever have. Their salads have such a unique taste then other regular salads. The Bento Meals are the best you could ever get with their own unique characteristics along with it such as the purple rice and much more. This is a must try for sure. -Bob

I love ordering from S&S because the food is fresh and the portions are generous! The rolls are done with purple rice, which is a nice twist on typical sushi rolls. The owners are very kind and take their time to put your order together; if youre in a hurry, ordering ahead will ensure that your meal is ready when you want it.

Dropped in for a Black Dragon roll and smoothie to enjoy while sitting at the park close by. Service was great, strawberry smoothie recommended and I went with that. Place was clean, quiet on a Friday afternoon. The smoothie was delicious and the sushi roll thou nothing special certainly was nice. Parking: Street parking can be limiting during summer but available close by.

The food was delicious and served really fast! The service was excellent and the owner is so lovely! Will come back again :)

Lemon Tree S&S is simply one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in my life. We ordered a Sushi & Roll platter and they were absolutely delicious. I particularly loved how unique and well-cooked their rice was. I never saw sushi and roll cooked in this colour so it was visually interesting. The fishes were incredibly fresh as well. While the food was amazing, the reason why I am leaving this lengthy 5-Star review is there service. I am not exaggerating when I say this. I received one of the best services ever in my life at Lemon Tree S&S. The owner couple were so friendly, kind and generous. She treated us like her own family and she even called us one. In Korean culture we have this word ( ). It is hard to translate this exactly but it is some kind of warmth you would feel between close neighbours. You would experience it in some Korean restaurants and we really experienced it at Lemon C&C tonight. I believe this place is one of the best sushi places in Toronto and they have other exciting menus including desserts. You should definitely give this place a try. I am personally going to come back here again many times in the future for sure. It was like discovering a hidden gem in Toronto.

Delicious takeout sushi! The fish is plentiful and super fresh! Purple rice is unique and yummy.... Great rolls, but they fall apart easily; probably because theyre quite large. Definitely good value and wonderfully warm service at the takeout counter.

Unique sushi using purple rice! Fish was fresh, sashimi was delicious, rolls were tasty, and service was great. A little pricey but expected for downtown and the servings were huge! Personal preference is for normal sushi rice - the purple rice didnt have the same sweetness or soft texture.

I think this place might be great for an average palette. Mind you, I will say I ordered not from the sushi menu! The sushi at the other tables looked good. Food is okay, I might be bias because they put Dijon mustard on my sandwich and it wasn t listed on the menu so I had to wipe it off. Service is excellent though. I ordered a matcha latte and had to take it back because I was given a matcha that was out of a packet that comes with sweetener and powdered cream. They were great about remaking it with real matcha. Real matcha drink though, didn t do it for me. Lovely service, but I would not come here if you re looking for an experience of a meal more of grab a snack in the afternoon to satiate your hunger. I like to write about environment too. You ll get the sun shining on you which is nice but on a very busy road so there will be cars noises if you re looking for a more silent time. Light music plays in the background which is nice.

I visited this cute restaurant late last night and I was quite pleased! The service is amazing! The lady serving us was the most kind, welcoming and attentive person. Other staff members were also very welcoming. Food was quite tasty and reasonably priced. I had the green dragon roll and the portions are quite filling. Order the Miso soup, it really hits nicely on a cold winter night. Great spot for a late night sushi craving during a night out. I would definitely recommend it and will be coming back because of how wonderful the service was!

I had there APPLE ADE today during a walk to the park with my sister and I am not half mad about my choice!! Its super refreshing and sweet! They use Perrier right out of the can into your bottle! Very fancy haha. Tastes amazing too

Just visited this newly opened sushi restaurant yesterday. Everything was so nice. Their customer service was excellent. We got a very warm welcome and when we placed our order, the lovely young lady patiently explained everything to us so clearly. As a cook myself (western cuisine), I know experience in the industry is of great importance. I was amazed to know that the sushi chef is so experienced with 25 years of making sushi and sashimi. Making Japanese foods requires great attention to details choosing ingredients, preparing, processing and presenting the foods. We ordered the chef s special sushi & sashimi, avocado salad and mango latte. While waiting for our order (just for about 30 mins), we had a walk in the neighborhood. There are many retail shops and a park nearby. For our order the mango latte was so refreshing (just a bit too sweet for us should have requested to reduce the sweetness as we always do in other restaurants & we just forgot this time), the sushi and sashimi were really fresh and delicious. To our surprise, the avocado salad was extremely fresh with lots of avocado and crispy greens, even the dressings were so nice. We were given 3 dressings, the original sesame, a hot one and the super tasty apple dressing. For sure, we will return and recommend it to our foodie friends.

Tried this for the first time today, a definite must try! Had the kimbap and the black dragon roll and both were amazing. Food was presented beautifully and the taste was to match.

Its my first time ordering from here and I was hungry, so black dragon roll and spicy salmon roll because I thought thats all they were, but I was completely blown away. Not only are they both flavorful, but each special roll order comes with seaweed salad and miso soup. One sip of soup and it tasted better than most takeout miso Ive had, BUT THEN there are baby clams in there!? Amazing. Thank you. With this in mind, their prices are a great deal and is definitely a new go-to sushi place.

It was a lovely surprise to discover this sushi place where we ordered 2 rolls and they were delicious ! Also the cheesecake was really tasty and fresh ! They do it in front of you and the staff is nice. We will defo come back !

Today was my second visit to this store. I tried the special roll set and the sauce on their rolls are amazing! Everything is made by the cook right after the order and I could see that the ingredients are really fresh, not the mention the quality and taste is amzing!!

The fish qualities are so much better than other place nearby. I had Philadelphia, spicy salmon rolls and lemon drink which was amazing. I enjoyed their lovely food.

One of the few 5.0s left in the area and needs to stay that way !! R-E-F-R-E-S-H-I-N-G !! The Ade is made with sugar fruits and sparkling water. I got myself a lime and mango. Absolutely delicious. I m surprised this spot isn t more popular. I guess those who know, know.

Exquisite taste and great presentation- even for take out. Headed there to grab some food on our way to the park- waited for what seemed like a long time, but we were ok with it. We get to the park to see the most tastefully packaged sushi ever- forget about the glob of wasabi and pile of ginger- this place had a beautiful bouquet of pickled baby onions, capers, ginger with a small drop of wasabi on top- it was a piece of art. Delicious and beautiful, will surely go back again! We even found a tiny little pearl in the clam in the miso soup!

I m so happy that I got my favorite things, bubble tea and sushi, at the same place! Both were tasty Miso soap with clam, small fruit and seaweed were provided too. I m satisfied with the quality and service.

I got the blueberry smoothie and my friend got a mango smoothie from this place and it was such a refreshing drink after a walk in 30 degree weather!! We also got the Philadelphia roll and I loved it so much. Compared to the other sushi restaurants, their rice, ingredients and salmon are so much more tasty! Would come again

I love this spot! I usually stop by on my break at work for one of their lemon tea. Super delicious. Have also had their sushi and the fish is great quality for the price. Super friendly and lovely staff! Will keep coming back :)

A location that recently opened up and I cant say I am impressed. I tried their drinks, sushi and cakes. The cakes tasted very bland and drinks were watered down. Sushi was not the greatest. They are insanely overpriced for such a small amount of food and the dishes tasted mediocre at best. Its a good place if you dont mind spending the extra money for convenience, small portions, and sub-par bland quality.

Everything tastes soooooo fresh and sooooo good! They use the diff type of rice. Its purple! (This review was for the other location on bay st. - gorudoya! I remeber that name cuz I went bk again to get ade again! Anyways, I cannot delete this review, I could only edit... I tried.... But I am pretty sure Queen st. Location probably taste good as well!)

This is a brand new sushi/dessert/bbt spot and the owner is very friendly. I think this location is still finding its footing among the steep competition for food and Asian beverages. The rolls are hand made with purple rice and the garnishes are quite nice. Its not cheap at $15 for this fairly good Black Roll... but with the soup, seaweed salad, and pickled sides its not too expensive either. Will be back to try the drinks!

Highly deserving of the perfect 5 stars and I am here to keep the streak going. Was walking down queen st and randomly stopped at Lemon Tree S&S yesterday to eat. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was amazing. It was actually so good that today we ordered it on Uber eats (and I am not one to normally eat sushi two days in a row). The impeccable service even shined through in the packaging of the order I received today. Needless to say, Lemon Tree S&S is our new favourite sushi place.

Purple rice was a nice touch. Had the sashimi poke bowl and the presentation was amazing. Tasted great. Drinks were on the expensive side but were also very good. Services was great. It surprised me. Will come again. 100%

This place is so cute. Really friendly chef and Jenny was great and made my food and lemonade so fresh and I didn t even wait long at all. Mainly loved the taste of the food I have never tried fusion style sushi before and this was an amazing experience and I can t wait till my next break!

I ordered sushi here and immediately didnt want to eat it from how not fresh it looked. I took one bite and the avocado in my roll was rock solid. I called to tell them that I was really disappointed and they apologized but didnt offer me anything. I had to throw it all away :( friendly people but I will never go back.

I ate on their patio and the service was really warm and sweet. I love that they use purple rice in their rolls! Their kim bap was fresh and they were generous with the fillings. Definitely plan to come back to try their other rolls and bowls! Also super conveniently located right by Trinity Bellwoods, great to grab takeout / a snack to bring to the park!

I went there today for the first time and I must say I was very impressed! First off, the location is great and the exterior and interior looks lovely! The interior decoration and art was one of the best I have ever seen, so creative! The food and drinks did not disappoint either! Their fruit drinks were so fresh and yummy. And their sushi was one of the best I ever had!! I would so recommend this place if you are looking for a refreshing drink and good food! The prices were very reasonable as well!

I came after a friend recommended this place to me and this was the first time I was able to finish a large drink no problem. Im usually very picky about the sweetness but this drink was perfect. I especially liked that there were lots of blueberries and tasted very natural but still a step up from your typical home smoothie. The interior of the place was very trendy and clean (even the washrooms - big indicator of hygiene!). The staff were friendly and approachable. The location was also very convenient (close to UofT) and there were many transit options around. I can definitely see myself coming back after class to study while enjoying their many drinks!

The service was fast and friendly, and it made a lasting impression since I havent experienced much like it around the downtown area! There was also such a comfortable atmosphere inside and on the outside patio.The tranquil music and scenery seem to offer a really great place to study, especially with the bar seats near the window! I ordered the black dragon roll and I thought it was incredible !! I found that prices for eel dishes are usually up there, but the pricing in this menu is much more affordable, and it did not disappoint! The presentation looked fantastic, and the portioning was just right! They also have a huge variety of interesting drink choices and desserts! I loved their unique white chocolate iced latte, and Ill definitely be back to try and explore more! Along with the presentation of the dish, the service, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, it was a really enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend this place for lunch hangouts, dates, or peaceful study sessions!!

Absolutely amazing spot here. Everything is so fresh and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating with special requests. They let us stay past their closing time without any hastle. The rolls are extremely packed and purple rice is used. Blue fin Tuna tasted like it was just caught from the ocean. Sandwiches are a nice snack too.

Wow this place is legit! Everything from the service, to attention to detail in presentation, to the quality of food, to the eco & sustainable takeout containers. I m so pumped we found this place, don t think we will get sushi from anywhere else now!

Bubble tea was not good. For a drink that tasted not fresh and rock solid tapioca, it took an inordinately long time to make.

Walked in a bit randomly and were impressed. Salmon plate (c4) and nigri and sashimi were both great. Everything was fresh and the server (owner?) willing to check all ingredients to ensure our meal was gluten free. The red snapper nigri was outstanding. The purple rice was a nice touch. We will be back!
