You gave me food poisoning. No question. My daughter and I yesterday evening, she had a sushi/sashimi box, I had unagi don. She ordered a bubble tea. She ate most of her box, a few sips of tea, didn't like it. She had a couple bites of mine. I had a bit of her tea. I didn't finish my unagi don but almost. The last bite tasted fishy, I have never tasted such a taste from unagi? Also the drink was essentially coconut water with coconut popping boba and it was warm/room temp. Throw a little edible glitter in and it's nine bucks? Why was it warm. Now sorry for the tmi, but you did it to us so now you have to hear about it. The bloating started within an hour. Within two hours she had severe diarrhea and I vomited no less than eight nine times. I have not slept in 20 hours because I am experiencing muscle cramping from the tip of my toes up. After the sixteenth to me vomiting I still can't rid myself of the taste and smell of your unagi don. Why do you keep your coconut milk at body temperature? Eel doesn't taste fishy. I still can't walk because of the muscle pain and weakness. I have a lot of vomit to clean up. If a senior ate there this would kill them. Also 66 bucks or so for two humble sized boxes? Little pieces and all? I mean I'm glad I didn't eat more, but your pricing isn't supported by your portions (of apparently rotten food.) (Edit to add, due to this response, yes you have had a similar report. Three months ago, at which point you said no one had complained prior but honestly? How do we know? Only two of us have publicly reviewed and now your telling me no one said so before when yes they have? Just adjust your fridge and throw out the old fish. Cost of doing business. I don't know the order number. I don't feel like figuring this out for you. We were the only customers around Nov 6 6pm. If I weren't so sick from it I might be more civil. Just really not impressed at the claim no one has had a problem, this reply lacks sincerity.)
If youβre going to charge upwards of $23 for a roll and use expensive ingredients, you should know how to use them. I had the soft shell crab roll, it was not good. There was a strange sprinkle of something on top that added no flavor and was a bizarre texture and stale. I had the yam tempura roll and a dynamite roll both had tempura in them. I found the tempura to be mealy chewy and tough. Which is not the desired texture of tempura. The ginger and wasabi were cheap, the wasabi lacking any flavor. Additionally, the rolls were huge. Not really easy to eat. Way too much rice, the rice was also dry. The packaging was great though. An aesthetically beautiful place, but donβt be fooled by the aesthetics. Overall, I think thereβs a lot of work to be done with the quality of the food and use of ingredients, especially given the price point. Disappointing experience.
Too Small of a portion size for the price, the rolls are tiny, maybe for kids? Tastes okay, rice is super sticky and fish is decent quality. Better sushi is expected for the pricing.
Coco Latte and rolls were so gooood. Great service, good hygiene & cleanliness and convenient location with street parking.
Good service, swift serving. Awesome food. Used to be an AI sushi fan, gonna start coming this place instead despite being farther away from me. Worth every single minute of the extra drive.
Well, if you know me, you know that I donβt like to just write nice things; Iβm one hundred percent honest in my opinions. I ordered takeout sushi for my birthday. It was two boxes of different sushi, and believe me, Iβve tried millions of sushi, but this one was really good. It was so appealing, tasty, and tempting that I couldnβt wait until I got home, so I finished half of it in the car. I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back for more. The staff are very friendly and well-behaved. Btw my Instagram username is @melinmorad - I post daily about food places and different activities in Toronto. You can check it out if you want π
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying sushi from Shiroshi Sushi, and I must say, their food is exceptional. The freshness of the ingredients stands out as the most important factor, and Shiroshi Sushi excels in this regard. Every roll, sashimi, and party tray is consistently delightful and never disappoints. Even the packaging is visually appealing, making takeout a treat for the eyes as well as the palate. Despite picking up my order, it felt like I was sitting down to enjoy a high-end dining experience. Shiroshi Sushi truly knows how to deliver quality and elegance in every aspect.
We stumbled upon a hidden sushi takeout shop tucked away on Yonge and Lawrence. A small shop shares space with a coconut drink business with sitting area. A very clean shop. They currently offering various promotions and discounts on instagram. We decided to give them a try on their Aburi tray for $48, comes with four types of torched rolls. The flavors were delicious, and each piece was satisfying and dressings are tempting. Good price for both quality and quantity. The staff were friendly.
Amazing
Really like this place. Quiet and fast service. The flavour of the sushi is good. Not traditional, but tasty.
Unacceptable discrimination to customers!
Generous portions, reasonable prices, and top-notch taste!
Food is good and the coconut pudding was fantastic
The sushi is incredibly fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. My favorite spot!
Great customer service. And sushi is always fresh. Highly recommend!

Good food
Their salmon sushi was delicious. Warm rice and cool salmon. Kind staff.
I ordered from Shiroshi through Uber eats and it was phenomenal !!! Super fresh, reasonable price, and beautiful packaging.
So yummy! Love all the rolls
Got food poisoning from an order of their chirashi donburi. (takeout) They definitely used some really old fish.
Tried it out when I passed by yonge today, very good. Sashimi is fresh, and the rice is fire. The best sushi rice you can ever have in the area, can tell they spent time and heart.
Great food. Good quality! Will definitely come back!
A+++
Bought takeout from here a couple times. Everything was fresh, sushi/rolls had a good sashimi/rice proportion. Combos/trays were neatly presented.
Fish is very fresh. Good portions.
Super happy to have found this restaurant! The taste and presentation was great!!! We ordered for delivery the sashimi platter, salmon avo roll and shiro house roll. The salmon sashimi slices were thick! The rolls were very tasty and rice to stuff ratio was good. By the time we received our meal (30mins in transit), the shiro house roll lost its crunchy top texture but still very good! We would definitely order again!
We just ordered lots of food and we didnt get any Wasabi or ginger, when I called back they offered 2$ refund
Sashimi is very fresh, sushi taste fantastic, price is not expensive and valuable, I think is the best sushi restaurant in Yonge street. Absolutely will recommend to my friends. Thank you so much.
Unfortunately, the food that we received by Uber Eats was mediocre at best. The miso soup was a tasteless clear broth, the sushi, while fresh, had little taste and even the wasabi was not strong at all. Also , the sashimi was improperly cut. The presentation was excellent but everything else needs improvement.
Ordered takeout and it was fantastic! beautiful presentation and 10/10 taste. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
Got a takeout today, and I was thoroughly impressed. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the torched rolls surprise me so much. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable for takeout. Must try the one with jalapeΓ±o (I forgot what is its name) Food
Chirashi don is quite underwhelming.. proportion of rice is very high with farmed salmon. To fill the plate quite a bit of tomago and cucumber used. Not worth $26. Cost of ingredients less than $10.
Overall one of the better sushi places I had in toronto for the price. Very fresh ingredients. Although takeout only.
Finally some decent sushi in the area with reasonable price
I rarely ever write reviews and I m a creature of habit- I recently had Shiroshi Sushi delivered to my home and I was STUNNED at the quality. The sushi is very very tasty and the presentation and packaging is impeccable! I ll definitely be ordering from Shiroshi regularly. Also I read a comment how the rice to fish ratio was off and I couldn t disagree more; the sushi was perfection
I got the gyozas and spicy avocado rolls. Delicious, well-seasoned and well cooked. Also very impressed with the packaging. Overall, very impressed. Happy to support a new local business in the area and will come back
This place has great sushi. Very fresh. Decent pricing. And Great take out - Nicely presented and very convenient to bring home. And great friendly service. Bye bye kibo ..
Ordered dynamites very delicious :)
This new sushi place is amazing! The Donburi is so tasty. I got the Sake Don and it was the best Ive ever had.
Best sushi in town!
Great new midtown option for picking up Sushi. Found it to be great quality for the price point. Ordered a party tray and Hokkai Don and it was thoroughly enjoyed. Service was friendly so will be coming back soon.
Tried a few dishes for delivery. Very fresh and tasty and the packaging is great!
