The first Sushi Shop restaurant opened its doors in 2000 at the Atwater Market and since then, the Quebec chain has become a predecessor in the Asian cuisine. As soon as the customer walks through the door, they know they are about to have a memorable experience in one of our Japanese restaurants. Crispy Rolls, Poke Bowls, Sushi Tacos, Sushi Burrito, Sushi Pizza, Combos, Vegetarian options, Hosomaki, Nigiri, Sashimi, Maki and Sumomaki to name only a few. You can order your sushi for take-out or for delivery. To find the services offered at your local sushi restaurant, please visit our website.
amazing torched sushi, amazing soy sauce! best sushi I ever had!
I stood watching them make the sushi for a few minutes before asking if they have Gluten Free options. There was a Salmon Lover combo box which they switched the Soy Sauce out for a GF Soy sauce. Sushi was lovely and fresh! Struggled to find options for me in the food court but this place was great
Quality has definitely declined at this location. I ordered a poke bowl and it was not made the way I usually get it at other locations. It was too saucy and the lettuce was cut rather large. Overall not impressed.
Ordered the poke bowl and it was just okay. Not a lot of toppings and it was super bland. Surprised they didn't give us soy sauce to go with it. It was definitely lacking something. I'd stick with their combos, as I like their rolls more. This location also serves ramen, I'll give that a try next time.
Been here only once and picked up their 911 roll. The sushi was decent, although nothing out of the ordinary. I will have to try more from their menu. The service is good, had my order ready for pickup quite soon. They have a vast menu and I'll be looking to cross more items of the list soon.
I am not a great fan of sushi. But, this place serves the best sushi in the downtown for an affordable price and gave me a wonderful first time experience with sushi. The wasabi they serve was not the best though. Overall, I would recommend if you wanna try sushi for the very first time.
I LOVE this place! I wish they had some locations in Mississauga. The service was friendly and the sushi is fresh. They have a load of variety and you just want to eat everything lol. I'm not downtown that often, but I'd go just to grab some sushi from Sushi Shop 😊
Good place to grab a quick bite. I go here often as my last stop. Menu hack: everything marked blue is cooked fish rest is raw. I usually look for that since I cant eat raw meat. The quantity is less when u call for fried shrimp and stuff. One of their team member is so rude, she would ruin your mood instantly so limit interaction with her. U will know when u see her.
Bleh. $22 for a small tray of sushi that was bland bland bland. Weirdly tasteless tuna. I wont be back.
Very quick and friendly service. Great sushi and chicken teriyaki
Sushi is made fresh daily. Plentiful à la carte menu, friendly and quick service! Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarian such as veggies rolls, veggies tempura, veggies poke bowl, etc. Kid-friendliness: Some options for kids such as avocado roll, cucumber rolls, etc.
I looked everywhere for this place and walked around the food court twice but still could not find it. Need easier way to locate the shop. The website is unhelpful.
Just walked by
Average across the board; nothing special. Giving this spot 2 stars because my beef bowl had sushi rice instead of regular rice. A strange experience eating vinegary beef.
Paid $12 and this is how much salmon I received . Doesn t taste fresh at all
They are super clean, friendly and very accommodating! I work in the offices close by and my team and I always have lunch from here and I wouldnt choose my California rolls from anywhere else!
Nice place to have Sushi and PokeBowl Vegetarian options: Veg PokeBowl available Food : 4/5 |
Would be nice to know that you not working, before waisting so much time trying to find you. Is it THAT that hard to mention it on a map???
Great take out sushi place
They forgot soya sauce... A Sushi Burrito without soya sauce is just sad
Quick, to the point and consistent
Conveniently located in the path. Good small but cozy sitting area. Taste is wonderful and fresh. Prices are good. Staff is welcoming.
GUYS!!! SUSHI. TACOS. AMAZING
Good consistency, try some of the innovative menu items like sushi pizza or the poke with crispy rice.
Wait was a bit long
Super fresh and good size!
So yummy
So surprised by how good this place is! Located downstairs in the Brookfield place food area, with a very clean and modern layout. There is free bar and table seating right inside the restaurant, which was spotless and comfortable. We ordered the Karaage chicken bowl and a Mango Chicken poke bowl. Both were really good. Like really good! Nice portions, made all to order. Will definitely be returning!
Good fresh sushi.
Good sushi for a food court
Very interesting menu and sushis, I got three different rolls and I really liked the taste but my dynamite roll shrimp was not fresh.
The food is okay but their service is TERRIBLE. I went this morning to get a veggie poke bowl. When I got to the counter, there was no one at the cashier and the employees behind the counter were making sushi. One employee saw me and I asked if they were open since no was at cash or acknowledging me (it was 10:30 and they opened at 10). Without answering my question the employee rudely said what do you want. I told him my order and then a lady came to the cashier, with no expression and even looked a bit angry, like I was bothering her. She entered my order and I told her I wanted to change the sauce but she kept cutting me off and telling me the total so I would pay. Eventually they made my order and the cashier lady gave me my food without saying anything, not even showing a tiny smile. Overall, the service here is very rude and unfriendly and I definitely will not be going back to this location. I have been to the York location and they had good service, but the service at Brookfield place is ruining the reputation of the franchise.
Love the food, Freshly made and the eating spit while limited in seating due to space is very very nice looking.
Tried the Inferno Maki. Surprising small. Place and I loved it. The presentation of the sushi is definitely different and they do have sushi burrito :)
Best.
