I had an incredible experience at Torch Pressed Sushi on Church Street! I tried the Fantastic 4 and the Original Salmon sushi, and both were amazing. The flavors were fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that made each bite unforgettable. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Have ordered delivery from here a few times and enjoyed. My go-to is the tasting box which has both the pressed sushi and handrolls. Standouts to me are the wagyu beef handroll and the truffle scallop pressed sushi.
Opting for both the tasting box and a non-spicy box to go, I was treated to a delightful assortment of pressed sushi alongside two hand rolls. The tasting box offered a well-curated selection that struck the perfect balance in flavor and freshness. Each piece of sushi provided just the right amount of taste, ensuring that the experience was satisfying without being overwhelming. The hand rolls were served in generous portions, complemented by the thoughtful inclusion of salads, adding a refreshing touch to the overall meal.
Excellent place for sushi in downtown Toronto. Delicious fresh fish, perfectly cooked sushi rice, and amazing sides. I had the salmon rice bowl and enjoyed most of the torched pressed sushi. Great service. Affordable priced. About 40 dollars per person including tax and tip.

Great food as always, super fresh, but the cashier is not the politest. I asked to use the bathroom, he said only after I ordered my food, made it pretty clear I could not stay in the premises because of the time, which was fine, the problem was just the tone and the attitude.
Overall, the store is clean and the meals are neat! Highly recommended

My favourite sushi spot. Would get this every day if I could. Have had this almost on a monthly basis because I m obsessed with the tasting box, love how you can get all the different sushi types, and hand rolls. So filling for the price, I hope they don t increase the prices

The food here was absolutely amazing. We stopped in quickly before a show and were delightfully surprised with the quality of food at a reasonable price. Plus the food is very filling. 10/10 have recommended it to everyone I ve talked to and will definitely be going back when I m in the area again
They sent us 1 small pack of soy sauce for 10 rolls and 8 gyozas, lol. Food is average, though

Not sure this is even sushi. The rice is super compact, the salmon really thin with a weird texture, and you can t really taste much besides whatever sauces they slather on those things.
