Laid back Mexican gourmet taco stand joint, takeout and delivery, featuring tacos, burritos and quesadillas
Absolutely fantastic! This taco restaurant is a gem. The tacos are bursting with flavor, and the variety is impressive. I tried the Tacos al Pastor and Tacos de Carnitas – both were delicious and perfectly cooked. The ingredients are fresh, and the salsas add just the right amount of kick. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. Highly recommend this place to all taco lovers!
It tooks so long to get our food. We ordered 6pcs tacos and chips & guc. Someone who ordered behind us received his food first. you guys should consider making foods by first come first serve. The server's attitude was unprofessional. When we came to the restaurant to dine in. She didn't welcome us at all and just pointing the table far from us. Better attitude get better tips
I couldnt even take a photo of the food because we ate it so fast!! Fish taco portion is super generous and delicious. Prices are amazing. Tortillas are sooooo soft....get the shrimp taco!!!!
Surprisingly delicious, quick service, and reasonable prices. A must-try for taco lovers. I recommend the Carne Asada, Chicken Enchiladas, Black tiger shrimp, and Acapulco fish. Full of flavor.
Enjoyed dinner here on Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality and presentation of the food and the beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious and the vibe/atmosphere were top notch (bright, clean and wholesome). A small yet beautiful spot to enjoy some yummy food. Definitely recommend the guac and nachos.
From the moment you walk in the door, the atmosphere of this taco joint is welcoming and warm. The decor is fun and lively, with bright colors and unique artwork that make you feel like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem. But let's talk about the real reason you're here - the tacos! The menu is full of delicious options that cater to all tastes and dietary needs. From traditional beef and chicken to fish, every taco is bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients. What really sets this taco joint apart is the attention to detail. Each taco is made to order with care and precision, and the flavors and textures are perfectly balanced. Whether you're looking for something spicy and bold or mild and comforting, there's a taco here for you. And let's not forget about the sides - the chips and guacamole are the perfect accompaniment to your meal. And if you're feeling thirsty, there's a great selection of drinks to choose from, including delicious margaritas and refreshing beers. Overall, I highly recommend this taco joint to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Don't miss out on the best tacos in the city - head to this place today!
We were pretty excited to try a new taco spot in Cabbagetown. We ordered 3 tacos to go. The Al Pastor, Black Tiger Shrimp, and Fried Fish. The tacos come with one tortilla and the size is just fine. Not too big, not too small. (More filling than Pastor Taco on Gerard St for comparison). The Al Pastor - really dry. I was worried about this as other reviews state dry meat. I indeed, also received dry meat. There's potential with the flavours here, but the meat was dry and hard to enjoy. Black Tiger Shrimp and Fish tacos were fine, but nothing memorable. Considering this place's other location has great reviews and they are still working on opening their dine-in space, I plan to return in a couple months to give them another chance because this area needs more taco spots!
We ordered online for pick up. Pick up was fast. The tacos were tasty with a good amount of filling. The Cheese Quesadilla combo which comes with Tortilla chips was disappointing as the portions were very small and barely any chips. It was not filling. Expected them to be more generous from a so highly rated restaurant.
The staff is rude. Poor customer service
This is the real deal. Probably the best tacos in Toronto. I had the shrimp, pork, and steak tacos for $16. Each bite was magical, especially with the lime and just-perfectly-spicy hot sauce. This place is so authentic. Go now!
Nahual Tacos is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. With its chill vibe, excellent service, and delicious food, its no surprise that it has earned a 4.4 rating on Google from 494 reviews. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You wont be disappointed!
Excellent service, attentive and friendly staff, food is fresh, prepared in front of me, I loved the flavor, great tacos , we had just a couple each and they were delicious. Would love the place to be more visible from outside, you could miss this gem and order just the good churros from the corner store.
Ordered tacos to go and ate at the park. Going to do lots of that in the summer. Delicious tacos full of flavours and fast service. Def coming back here. We need goo spots like this in cabbage town area.
Its okay
From the first bite I could tell how delicious it was, never had tacos like this before, great job ill try my best to come often you git me hooked.
So good!! Will visit again !!
I bought for delivery and it is not very nice that if you are the consumer directly you cannot change your mind and eat inside the restaurant and they tell you that you cannot do it, I would understand if the restaurant was full but there was only one table occupied, the tacos are not bad but I wouldnt go back and buy more
Great tacos and burritos!
Mid. Pretty overpriced for what u get. You pay more than a dollar for an inch of taco and they arent even that good.
I often drove by this unassuming little place, and it intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try...boy, am I happy I did. I adore Latin food, and this restaurant didnt disappoint. I ordered the rice and bean burrito, it was delicious! It was huge, filled with fresh veggies, tasty rice and beans and a flavourful burrito sauce. Probably, the best burrito Ive ever had!
Great Mexican place in Cabbagetown, excited to have them here. Tried their Barbacoa burrito and fish tacos and both were very tasty and enjoyable. Highly recommend and will return.
I love Mexican food and could eat burritos everyday and I would eat these burritos everyday. I had the barbacoa burrito and a fish taco, both were very tasty and I was very full. I only wanted more because they tasted so good. The barbacoa beef was flavourful, tender and juicy - top notch. The cod fish taco was excellent. I will definitely be back to try their newly opened dining menu. This place is a great addition to Cabbagetown.
Absolutely fantastic, we ate in and the service was excellent, she was kind, efficient, engaging and ensured we had a great experience. The tacos and enchiladas we had were fresh fresh fresh, small portions but priced accordingly, so best value for quality. We definately recommend and will be back, a lot
Love their service.
Good fish taco in the neighbourhood. Owner/chef Luis is friendly and takes pride in his food.
Delicious food, decent portions and above-and-beyond customer service while dining in. Note that the dine-in menu and the takeout/delivery menu are different. I highly recommend the Chicken Fajita Taco on their takeout menu. Perfection!
Food was bussin
I expected good tacos but I was disappointed
Vegetarian options: There are some veggie-only options.
Tasty burritos. The only worthy option in Cabbagetown
I am Mexican, and I have to say this aren t great tacos, the salsa cruda had no flavour at all, the tortillas tasted like they were not entirely made from corn, the guacamole was flavourless and expensive . the service was awful, the person at the counter didn t know how to explain the menu and for some reason I didn t see anyone Latino In that kitchen, for the price I think you can get better tacos anywhere else, they are indeed for gringos
Authentic, great tasting mexican food place. Highly recommend the Birria.
We ordered online and it was simple and it was ready when we got there. The food was excellent, especially for the price point (our quesadilla and burrito were each cheaper than a shawarma plate for example). The burrito was really nicely balanced and perfect size for a meal that didnt leave me feeling overstuffed. My girlfriend ended up saving some quesadilla for later because although it looked small, it was loaded with high-quality cheese. It will definitely become a go-to for us when we want to pick up a quick meal.
Ordered a veggie burrito and they didnt put beans in it. Thats the only protein source in this burrito. I went back and let them know and although I did say they didnt need to replace it ( because I have been so hungry that I ate half of it and was embarrassed ) I was super surprised they didnt offer any compensation. Even chips or something. It was like 14 bucks. Its also an odd Choice (for my taste) to put pickled carrots in a burrito. sadly l wont be back.
Pretty high-end Mexican food, reasonably priced for the quality and the atmosphere, very tasty dishes. 100% recommend. Great micheladas too!
The food is good, for dine in it looks they take care of the ingredients and taste, as a Mexican I like it. but the service needs to be improve, we wait like an hour to complete the whole service and we didn t ordered too much. The girl couldn t explain what is the dish about, but probably she was not her fault, she was rushing, it was only one waitress for paying attention to the tables, take out, pick up and everything, maybe they need more staff to fill. From my point of view the price is so high 1 taco for $7.50+ tax but I guess they wanted to give Mexican gourmet food experience but as expensive gourmet food the customer service should be at the same level or above
Amazing tacos. Its great that we have this gem in the neighbourhood.
The tacos dont taste good :( from the score I was expecting good food
Yum! The food was fresh and delicious. Clearly made from quality ingredients. Sauces were terrific, both the green sauce and the spicy red sauce. Take-out was ready at the time stated. Looking forward to my next order!
This is the best taco/burrito spot in the city bar none. Awesome menu, everything has distinct flavours, I d recommend it easily over the mediocre franchises like Burrito Boyz. They re the real deal!
(Edit: parliament location)Most toco joints are line quick and dirty, no frills. This place is a nice restaurant, but of an elevated atmosphere. I could take a date here for a nice dinner kinda vibe. Intimate. Staff are friendly and helpful. Classic margarita on point. Guacamole - tastier than most. Smooth not so chunky and youll want to order 0ne for each individual. Pastor, barbacoa, fish and steak (arrachera I think) all super flavorful. House sauce is very flavorful, heat forward, but not there to punish you. White people may find it too much, but the heat does not linger long. I will 100% be back. Vegetarian options: I think it was mushroom. If its even close to the meat options, you will love it.
Great food! Reasonably priced! Nice ambiance! Great service!
I was expected to be more impressed here with the ratings. But I found it pricey for basic small tacos. I tried the shrimp, fish and Al pastor - all tasted pretty bland. The green sauce tasted like watered down guac.
Great service and selection. Recommend checking out. Friendly staff.
Tacos were very delicious. Having grasshoppers with the nachos was a good way to change things up.
Consistently good tacos! Sufficient amount of food for the price. They have a very good hot sauce. Usually get take away but have eaten here once. The space is quaint, only indoor seating. They may have changed it but some background music would be a nice touch. :)
Loved the lime crema with the chicken enchiladas; al pastor and Yucatan chicken tacos could have been a little spicier, but very good overall.
I usually dont write reviews but they ripped me off $35 for 1 taco and a bowl of cheese chicken enchilada they called it . Really bad
Really good food will definitely be returning
The food was awesome. The plating and garnishes were simple and cute. I really love the cozy atmosphere restro provided, plus the owner and servers were really friendly and great. Had an awesome time. Definitely would visit again.
Loved the food and the vibe. Enchiladas were the best . Recommend 10/10
Food was too good atmosphere was great i ll visit again .
Had the Al Pastor, Fish and Barbacoa Tacos and it was a flavor explosion! the tomatillo salsa added a refreshing kick and the ambiance in the restaurant added to the overall experience. Will definitely be back!
This is my new favourite taco place !! I came with my boyfriend and we both loved the ambience. The food is sooo tasty :)
I got the Al pastor tacos and Barbacoa tacos. The Al pastor was great. Barbacoa was too dry and chewy and I didn t love it. Would come back again.
Vegetarian options: Delis ious veggie options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Food : 5/5 |
It is disappointing since I thought that having a good star score here in Google maps was going to be good tacos, they do not have a good flavor and they are a food that you will not remember. I have tried several tacos and this restaurant is not good to say that they are gourmet tacos
Hands down the best tacos I have ever had!!! So happy the new Cabbagetown location opened up! The owner is so sweet I can really see he has a light in his eyes for his business!
Just got from their new location on Parliament street and its the best taco in the city
Was excited for this place but can t say it was the best tacos I ve had. Each taco was just meat, cilantro and onions. No extra sauce. Meat and tortillas were dry.
Really great tacos and other tasty things. Nice addition to the neighbourhood.
The food was tasty and the owner seemed very nice but the service was a huge problem I payed 45 ish dollars for a steak/barbacoa burrito with guac inside and I would pay extra for it, and a steak/barbacoa quesadilla without mushrooms because my my brothers allergic to some mushrooms and we wanted to be safe with a ginger ale. After ordering we were informed the food would take 30ish minutes which was a dealbreaker but I decided to come back in 30 minutes. When I got back I was informed that they hadn t started the food and that they didn t have barbacoa and that I could either have chicken or nothing for the same price (13$) with cheaper meats/ nothing. I waited for another 35-40 minutes. They offered me a beer or a pop for my wait but I m underaged and wasn t able to get a beer and I didn t need another ginger ale and my family didn t want one either. When we got home we had a chicken burrito without guacamole (which I payed extra for), a chicken quesadilla with mushrooms which we specifically asked to remove, and no ginger ale . This was probably 10-12 dollars of food I payed for and didn t get. The chicken quesadilla with mushrooms could have been dangerous for my brother so he didn t risk it and put it in the fridge for me to eat tomorrow. The food I did get was very tasty and would be a good deal for the amount I should have payed. In the end I lost way more money than I should have and I feel like I got scammed 10$ more. Very good food but after an hour wait with one other person in line 40 minute after closing doesn t make sense to me. Nobody else is ordering and I m forced to wait for who knows what. If their service doesn t improve I ll never come back. They have the right idea but a very bad execution
Had the 3 taco combo, chicken, pork & shrimp, and the barbacoa at the new Cabbagetown location. Not a taco expert, but found it delicious. Great flavour, and the barbacoa came with 2 nice sauces.
This guy used to be on Bloor st west(annex) and is a very friendly nice owner who has really great food. I only had the tacos, and although I wish they were open later for all the bar people, you won t regret ordering from here. I m really happy they opened up close to me!
It was okay. Tacos were pretty bland, and chips were dry. Not the best tacos in the city.
Good tacos but extremely small portions
GOOD
Great food with an individual yet authentic twist
Unbelievable tacos!! I hate 10 ! Hahahahaha
So good! We got an assortment of tacos and they did not disappoint. The fish tacos were out of control! Thanks so much!
went when it just opened up. customer service was good, super sweet girl took our order. food was good, should ve been a bit spicier tho. great spot to quickly grab lunch
I had a taco combo with a beer and enchiladas everything was amazing love it
From the Cabbagetown location ordered what was supposed to be chicken burritos they were awful.... it was all rice and dry with hardly any chicken... the first time I ordered from here was fabulous but they have changed the recipe... totally not impressed... wont eat from here again! $56.45 for 3 burritos is a little aggravating as well!
The hot sauce and the carnitas burrito we ordered was really good. The size is pretty generous, the only thing I didnt like was the al pastor burrito, I didnt feel any flavour on it.
Delicious hidden gem.
The tacos were great. Hard to spot at first but a tiny little room with some great tacos. Order in advance or wait about 10 mins for some wonderful food.
Excellent tacos (beef, chicken fajita, and cod). Fresh flavors great tortillas and excellent service.
The 2 workers behind the station werent wearing a mask while preparing the food, even though the building rules say everyone inside must be wearing a mask. When I asked them politely to wear one as I would feel more comfortable, the male worker started arguing with me and still refused to wear one as he handled our food. I didnt know the building rules only apply to customers and not the workers. I was so excited to try the food but the experience was ruined by rude and unsanitary workers. I had already paid by the time I noticed the no masks while cooking, so sadly still had to take the food
Had the carnitas burrito which exceeded expectations. Very rich and flavourful.
Great price ! Pretty good burritos! Very yummy !!!
Tacos are just amazing. Tres Leches is out of this world.
I had mixed feelings about that place. It s inside a food court towards the end on the right hand side corner. I went at a time that it was really busy. I waited patiently in line. I ordered the shrimp taco with chips and salsa as well as their tres leches cake. There were 3 staff behind the counter. One of them was not wearing a mask and was giving orders to the other 2. The shrimp taco was not bad but it wasn t that impressive to me. I felt like the filling was a bit lacking. The chips and salsa were good. The tres leche cake had a good portion and was topped with strawberry jam. It was good and light and fluffy.
I would give a quarter of a star if there was an option. I had high expectations of this restaurant due to the stars in the rating but it was very disappointing. There are no seasonings (bland), no spice, this is the kind of food you have once, and run away from. EWWW
Not usually one to do this, but has to be some of the worst tacos I ve ever had. Flavorless meat, stale tortilla, skimpy on the toppings and small portion sizes. And then my bottle of coke was warm to boot. There s about 20 other Mexican spots in the neighborhood to drop some money compared to this one.
The enchiladas were great. The flavour was right and the hot sauce it came with was nice. We had low hopes just looking at it but it was super tasty! We also got a carnitas and shrimp taco and they were good too. I d try them again if I was nearby. I d probably just get the enchiladas next time.
I wish I could give 0 stars, worst food and service. Very disrespecting people. Please dont visit.
Really bad customer service. As for mexican food is pretty bland. This doesn t even deserve 1 star should be zero. Literally ruined my day.
Very tasty tacos, everything seems fresh and authentically prepared. Nice staff, no long waiting times. Plus one of the many beers in the hip food court.
Ordered delivery maybe that s why we didn t enjoy it that much. Was a little underwhelmed. Really liked the fresh guac at least.
Very yummy
I really wanted to like this place but I was left a bit disappointed. The tacos are tiny - I ate 5 and was still hungry afterwards and theyre still quite expensive at $5 each. The flavours were a bit off too
El Nahual Tacos is located in the Annex, which is a food joint/food hall on Bloor Street featuring a bunch of unique Toronto Cuisines. The chef incorporates Mexican flavors from back home with simple garnishes as to not over complicate things and let the ingredients speak for themselves. The flavor combinations are great, and the guac is made fresh every day. A favorite dessert of mine in Filipino Cuisine is Leche Flan, and I thought El Nahual was serving it, but its a Mexican version called Tres Leches Cake which is topped with strawberry jam and just as delicious. If youre not in the mood for tacos, their burritos are just as delicious with similar fresh Mexican ingredients.
Great flavour and overall a great spot. Prices are a bit high but quality is there. It also was all made fresh and didnt feel like fast food at all.
Located in the Annex with a number of other restaurants and a bar and coffee stand. Open interior food court seating. Got the beef tacos and chips and salsa. They were very good. Enjoyed the accompanying spicy sauce that went with the Tacos. There was an tomatillo type puree sauce for the nachos. Service was quick. Definitely would return for a meal.
Most delicious tacos! Fresh food, authentic flavour and amazing vibe.
This place was horrible. 17.something for 3 bland tacos and a drink? You gotta be kidding me.
Not worth the wait, money, or experience I d avoid this place if looking for authentic Mexican food
Authentic tacos.
Great made to order taco spot rich in flavor and cozy in style. Be patient as everything is cooked to order.
Overall really good tacos and a good price (3 for $13) but didn t find them to be too authentic.
Went yesterday and had three different types of tacos. Most definitely not worth the hype or money. Wouldnt recommend.
Great music, vibe and atmosphere
Yummy quesadillas
It was a great snack for the quesadilla! I was looking for a dinner though so that was my own mistake.
I had high expectations but was left disappointed by the tacos. Ordered 1 carnitas and 1 fish. The fish taco was lacklustre and under seasoned. The carnitas taco was DRENCHED in grease - it was literally dripping oil out of the tortilla. Hot sauce on the side is not really hot sauce, more like a chipotle mayo. It is also overpriced for what you get, $5 for 1 tiny taco? Save your money on this place and instead try out their neighbouring stalls.
Delicious spices and ingredients!
We went there a couple months ago- based on the high ratings. Needless to say I ended up eating at the neighboring place... there was no taste, the tacos were really bland!
Came here a few days ago and I still cannot stop thinking about the al pastor tacos I had. So juicy and so flavourful. They also make their own hand pressed tortilla so you can really taste the authenticity there. Price is great for the quality they give you. I was so full after the three tacos I had. I would come back here again if Im ever around the Annex area.
The food here is massively overpriced for tiny portions...seriously $15 for 3 tiny tacos? The tacos themselves werent great either...not downright horrible, but they lacked seasoning (besides salt..) and there was a distinct lack of any Mexican heat. It wouldnt be much different than going to Taco Bell. I dont know if all these 4 and 5 star reviews have ever even had real Mexican food. Is it because its in a hipster-y food court downtown it gets extra stars? Seriously people, go out to a family owned Mexican restaurant and try real food at affordable prices.
Original space where you can find foods from different countries. Very popular with students for its affordable prices and fast food. Lots of space for tables although not very comfortable.
Not the best, freshest tasting tacos you can find. Liked the hot sauce
A trendy taco place in the annex food hall. The tacos were OK, nothing special about them. Tried the Pastor, chorizo and the fish. I would say the pastor was the best of all while chorizo was the most mediocre.
Good place for tacos. They can be slow because they make the tortillas for the tacos as you order them. The fillings are good. Carnitas is a favorite.
Had an awful experience here. The owner is EXTREMELY creepy and made my friend and I feel very uncomfortable. Will never eat here again.
Yummy burrito that wants over stuffed and falling apart.
Fantastic customer service. I made a note on an Uber Eats order about a very minor concern around cross contamination and the owner (Luis) called me right away. Not only was he very friendly and reassuring about the restaurants attention to allergies but he informed me that even their fried fish tacos were gluten free(!). I was never even a big fan of fish tacos before but these were so fresh and light...hes ruined me. Im hooked. The Al Pastors will transport you to a beach in Mexico by the way. Best discovery on Uber Eats in a while!
Some of the best tacos you can get in Toronto for the price. This place is a gem.
Just ordered off Uber Eats at around 1am. Was blown away at how fresh everything was. Fried tilapia was amazing, our fave of the 4 we tried (also had the Carnitas, Tiger Shrimp, and Al Pastor and they were all really good as well). Just wow! We re excited to see how delicious everything is in person.
Oh my god so TASTY and the barbacoa quesadilla was so good... I WAS SO HAPPY!
So impressed with our Uber eats delivery I had to leave a review. Loved the grilled pineapple on the El Pastor and loved the Carnitas as well so flavourful. Also the guac was on point. Definitely a go too for late night
Bland. Overpriced. Small portions. This is like an anti-Mexican restaurant. I had high hopes for this place since it had 4.6 stars and was hyped up in every news article imaginable. But I was extremely let down.
The tacos were not as flavourful as I wanted
The worst worst tacos ever , straight to the garbage, tortillas are not even the same from the picture .
I dont even know where to start with this place, I first started eating here at the original location at Eglinton and Keele, then Luiz dicided to break up with me and move down to the annex, but I still go as often as I can as Id drive across Canada for this mans Tacos they are absolutely delicious the best taco joint Ive been to by far, I guess long distance relationships can work out
True taste of Mexican Tacos. Very authentic and unbelievably tasty
Great food. Pretty good for Toronto prices.
Hidden tacos. Its delicious!! Made by a real Mexican owner most of the time. Not a lot of space to sit so dont expect tables and chairs
Really great tacos. Completely authentic.
Delicious tacos and very unique. You wouldnt find these anywhere else in the city. Theyre pastor and chorizo ones were the tastiest.
The kids like it
Very good, but a bit pricey.
Food was really tasty. Love the hibiscus drink!
My favorite taco place but they never seem to be open anymore. !!!!!!!!!
Tacos and burritos
It was great. Now closed at this location but can be found at the Annex Food Hall
El Nahual, now located in the Annex Food Hall, is delicious. No complaints at all about the quality of the food. But...the portions are so tiny. I ordered a large Al Pastor burrito. After taxes, it was over $12, and it was a tiny burrito. I was starving after I ate it. Dont be greedy El Nahual, increase your portion sizes or lower your prices. Its a crime to serve such a tiny burrito at that price.
Looks like this location is under new ownership..... 4 stars is for the old ownership... i went today... no juices... no chips... no salsa and noticed a bit of difference in the taste.... 3 out 5 for the new owner...
El Nahual Tacos at the Annex is just disappointing. 20 minutes for two tacos in the smallest portions. Tacos were drenched in oil too. Two staff working and had to ask them if they could cancel the order before they started to make it. I was the only one ordering too. They stood chatting while we waited, nothing on the grill.
Not sure if it s under a different ownership/name (just says Mexican food on the restaurant front), but the tacos were great in this hidden gem!, will come back for more soon!
Dont let the decor distract you, these tacos are number one atm! I kept bugging the chef to make more after each time I thought I was done!
Good customer service and grate tasting tacos I really love the shrimp 1.
Everything tasted amazing! Only item I didnt like was how they served an avocado sauce with chips...I expected fresh guacamole.
Great little gem! Delicious tacos. Will be back!
I live half an hour away and I have tried coming to this restaurant twice. Both times they were closed. I checked google, yelp and their instagram and no mention of it being closed. All they do is post a sign on the window to say theyre closed. It is very simple to just update Google or even instagram to let people know youre closed. That is poor business practice. Update: I gave it one last try, called before I was coming and someone picked up. The shrimp and fish tacos were amazing. This place definitely lives up to the hype. Best tacos Ive had in Toronto.
Pretty good, very flavorful. meat was a little salty/over seasoned. Would have preferred corn tortillas
If you dont follow your posted hours, you suck. From the look of things, maybe its already out of business?
Finally excellent tacos in the annex. Favs are fish and barbacoa.
If you really want to try best tacos ever you have only one option. This place. Youll find here even vegetarian taco and it will be amazing too.
A bit small but good nonetheless. I was there when they had the Mexican food sign in the front. Love the fresh fried tortilla chips.
The tacos are nothing extraordinary either in seasoning or variety... Probably for Canadians it may be good but for Mexicans it is not at all.
If you have tried authentic Mexican food and you liked it, stay away from this place. I tried 6 different types of tacos and the ones that were not salty were full of oil. The flavors didnt really get close to the real thing. So, if you want to try real Mexican food Id suggest you go elsewhere, otherwise you will be disappointed.
The tortillas are fresh, hand-made but they were undercooked. The meat had an odd spice... too much cinnamon? It s not authentic and not great. It s just ok.
Great service, vibe, decor, and tacos.
Love this place! Visited them first at their Eglinton location and then at Annex Food Hall recently. Great food, and great service.
Love the tacos here!
One of the coolest spots ever! The interior decor is dope, despite being fairly small place. The food though is top notch.
Each taco is well prepared, well arranged and delicious. The bread is also is fresh. You wouldnt expect such quality at that price point.
Great tacos but I will never forgive them for moving from Keele and Eglinton. Our neighborhood has so little and the new one had so much already!
Tacos were decent, many options for amazing tacos in this city!
Delicious
Delicious tacos
Was hoping for a lot better. Ordered the steak, fish and shrimp tacos and the sea side of the order was pretty bland. I was expecting Mexican heat, taste and seasoning. None were present and the fish even lacked salt and pepper. The steak was okay, better than the other two but lacked fiery taste and wow factor. El Trompo in Kensington remains the benchmark and this place, El Nahual, is behind by a distance.
Delicious but expensive and it took like 25 mins for 3 tacos and i was the only customer
Does this look $16 worth of food to you? I am not coming back here because its waaaay over priced
