Burger Drops serves up smash burgers, fries and desserts. Stop by our first takeout location in Liberty Village. Order in-person, for pick-up and delivery.
burger drops delivers a fun and satisfying fast food experience, with their truffle sauce burger stealing the show. the burger is a perfect blend of flavors, with a juicy, well-cooked patty, fresh toppings, and a rich, flavorful truffle sauce that adds a gourmet touch. every bite feels indulgent yet balanced, showcasing the care put into its preparation. the gravy fries are a great companion to the burger--crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right amount of indulgent. the combination makes for a meal that's both comforting and elevated. the service at burger drops is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. the staff is attentive and approachable, making sure customers feel at ease even during busier moments. there was a small hiccup with ordering, as it wasn't clear that the truffle fries were an additional charge in the holiday combo, but it was quickly sorted out. cashier also said the cheese truffle fries are a bigger size, but it really wasn't that much bigger at all. seating is also limited, with only three tables available, so visiting during off-peak hours is recommended. the interior is clean and bright, there's a collage of customer and employee photos on the wall. price is comparable to five guys and shake shack, regular double burger is $12 + tax, while the holiday burger is $14 + tax. regular fries is $6, curly fries are $8, and holiday fries are $10. i wouldn't get the holiday fries again just based on the price and size. our meal was all in all around $55 total which honestly is a bit steep for fast food burger. the take out bag is high density paper. all dine in and take out seem to have similar paper packaging. burger drops excels in delivering fresh, flavorful food with great service. the truffle sauce burger is truly a standout and is well worth trying for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and memorable burger experience. i would come back to try more!
I tried the burger there, and it definitely has a unique flavor with an interesting aftertaste. It’s not exactly my usual style, but I still liked it! I also ordered the onion rings, and they were absolutely memorable—crispy and delicious. The place itself has a cozy, small vibe, perfect for a youthful crowd, with a cute and welcoming atmosphere. Worth a visit for a laid-back, tasty experience!
THE BEST smash BURGER 🍔 we’ve EVER had!!! It truly is AMAZING: the meat melts in your mouth , the cheese is oozing , the pickles are perfectly crunchy… the staff are also amazing so it’s a win win all over . The bun was soft and room temperature.. great job guys ! Don’t forget to add the jalepeno curly fries to your order!!! WOW 🫶🏻.. we’ll be back! 🙌🙌🙌 ( pictures don’t do it justice )
This place lives up to the hype! Service is quick, and the smash burgers are so crispy and tasty, melting in your mouth with the cheese and soft potato buns. Was fortunate to get seating as well to dine-in (not much space inside). Would visit again.
The exterior looks like a house with a bench in front. The interior has few seats with an open window to the kitchen. We ordered the double original burgers with bacon, onion rings, curly cheese fries, and banana pudding. The burgers were the best I’ve had, but the cheese was a little overwhelming. The extra bacon is worth it because they give you a lot. Onion rings were fantastic, but the breading was a little hard. Curly fries were good, but the cheese sauce was too generic. Banana pudding was good, and had a strange flavor. Prices were fair.
I got the double original smashed burger with bacon, a side order of curly fries and can of diet Coke. The smashed burger was one of the best top notch smashed burgers I’ve ever had. I was actually shocked. The sautéed onions were my favourite. The sauce was juicy and delicious with every bite! I will 100% return and recommend.
It is worth the hype! It’s the best smashed burger I’ve ever had. It is simple but great quality. Don’t forget to order Banana frosted pudding, which is perfect dessert:) I tried it for the first time that staff recommended. It was a bit sweet for me, but quite delicious. We had American burger : single patty $8.5 and double patty $12, Onion ring $6, Banana foster pudding $8
After hearing a lot of hype about Burger Drops, I had high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver. The food was decent, but nothing stood out. The curly cheese fries and onion rings were probably the best items on the menu, but the banana pudding was a major letdown—it tasted like artificial banana flavoring with no real sweetness or fresh bananas. The burgers were just average, nothing special. On the plus side, the service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. However, there are definitely better burger spots in the city.
We come here pretty often. 95% of the time the food is consistent and well worth it. The reason for the three star instead of the five star is because today the burger buns were hard to bite into. Might of been over steamed or toasted with both meals having the same issue ruining our meal. I m sure if we had dined in they would ve corrected this however we had picked up and drove off. Hopefully this was just a one off and next time our experience will be better. Overall I would rate this restaurant a 4 star.
Definitely one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Ive eaten from here twice now. I like the ketchup relish and they have a holiday special herb truffle sauce thats awesome. Also the curly fries with the cheese sauce!!! Also the service is super quick! You have a few options to choose from and its simple and delicious!
rico
I love this place I love the food and there is this lady who works at the front shes the best I wish I got her name. I love curly fries and the dope burgers
Food was amazinggg(OF COURSE DUH) but Amy was the best!!! Her gorgeous smile and caring service made my experience wonderful! She definitely deserves a raise :)
The food was amazing!
Burger drops has the BEST burgers and they are so consistent with their quality and service! I was in the other day and I wanted to order the holiday burger and as a vegetarian, I was wasn t initially able to do so as there were no modifications, but then one of the workers overheard me and ended up giving me a free holiday burger veggie style. I really appreciated that act of kindness! Thank you burger drops team :)
Burger Drops is one of the best parts of the neighbourhood, without a doubt. I love all their collabs!
Delicious smash burgers !
Aside from being a very good burger, the quality is consistent every time you go. Having curly fries also doesnt hurt!
I have a new favourite hamburger joint in Toronto Burger Drops in. Liberty Village. Everything about this place is superior from the killer burgers, to the service and even the music. I had the Holiday Burger and it was excellent. Give them a shot. You won t regret it. Parking: There are a couple of places immediately in front of the shop. There is also Green P on the street.
Believe the hype. Went just before closing on a holiday and the service was super friendly, burgers made to perfection: crispy edges and juicy inside. I had the classic that comes with cheese and burger sauce; and the American which is more dressed up with cheese, shredded lettuce and slightly spicy tomato salsa. Love that the classic buns are not too heavy. Crinkle cut fries were generous portions and very crispy with a soft centre. Also love the detail of the ketchup mega pack! There are veggie burgers too but I will definitely come back to try the chicken burger, slush and desserts.
AND Smash burger
Best burger in Toronto, and its not even close
Burgers were amazingggg. Cant say enough how delicious they were. Its very budget friendly and super moist which i like alot. The reason why i cut one star is that there s not enough seats to dine in. Even though there s space for more tables and chairs, for some reason its just 3 tables which is very inconvenient.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Food
Solid smash burgers wish they had more seating arrangements but great burgers
I tried their burger for the first time they said there burger are, good they lied their burgers are AMAZING
The smash burger here is incredible! So glad that I found it! Just wish that I got a double patty instead of a single, but theres always next time!
Thank you Burger Drops for amazing burgers and fries.. honestly me and my daughters think are the best smash burgers in Toronto. (We are sure you get that a lot) But hospitality was above and beyond ( even if its mostly take out, the lady ,last Thursday November 21st behind the cashier was very cozy and friendly and make us feel very welcome) . We had an issue before when I ordered one burger with no ketchup or no sauces for my little daughter and they forgot to do it . No hard feelings . Mistakes happen when is busy. I told the manager and we got a free desert. Thanks again Burger Drops!!
Delicious burgers, best in the city.
Ive been coming to Burger Drops for awhile now, and one thing they never miss is consistency. The owner makes it a point to warmly welcome everyone who walks inside, and that hospitality shines in everyone who works there. The burgers are out of this world, and I recently tried the Holiday Burger, which was had me craving a second despite the larger patty. Highly recommend the Curly Fries + Drop Sauce, but also plan to have a huge nap right after. Super glad to have it in my local neighbourhood, its a classic with all my friends, and a refreshingly reliable joint for a burger that hits the spot.
If you guys are no longer accepting orders from UberEats then you should get it completely removed from the app and website because otherwise we go click delivery and it automatically sends us to it, it s a waste of time and it is not letting us know how can we actually get delivery from you. Thanks!
New Holiday dessert is fire.
We had a small ordering mishap in store; thankfully the team was incredibly receptive and professional, and as a bonus the burgers and curly fries were as amazing as we always remembered. Cant wait to go back soon
One of the best burgers in Toronto!
The overall service is friendly and the food comes out quickly even though it is the weekend. There are about 8 employees working in the open kitchen, so the pace is fast. There are only 3 tables, so its not convenient to dine in. 4oz patty on a potato bun (not brioche)? I ordered a basic smashed burger, curly fries, and a cruster. Its not a regular bun, but a potato bun, so its soft (Holy Chuck also uses this burger bun). Its not the artificial sauce taste thats commercially available, but a sauce and caramelized seasoned onion thats better balanced than expected. Use either commercial or cheddar cheese. The patty is a small 4 ounce patty, so of course it is fully cooked (you cant choose the doneness level). The difference between the Cruller and the regular Cruller is that it is made with a churro-like dough that is fried and then sprinkled with cinnamon powder and sugar evenly in a twisted form. And the dough inside was soft and tasted like there was a hint of vanilla paste in it. Its okay if you eat it right away, but after eating it, it got cold and fell apart when I pressed it with my hand.
Have been wanting to try this spot and while visiting Toronto it did not disappoint. Despite being delivered it was still warm and absolutely delicious
Definitely the best smashburger ever at a great price. Legendary
The hype for their smash burger is real
This place makes it to the list for the best burger in Toronto. Its really hard to say who makes the absolute best burger, but Burger Drops definitely needs to share the crown. I got the original double, my kids got the singles and my wife got the American. All were perfect. We werent big fans of the curly fries and onion rings, they were good, but we just didnt love them. Service was very friendly. 3 small tables, so not really much room to sit down, but we did manage to get a table and enjoy our burgers inside, but the place does get a little crowded at times. Would definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the meals outside. Its definitely somewhere to take an out of town guest when looking for a place to show them the best burger in Toronto.
Best burgers in town
A great burger, simple menu, and awesome sides. This is the place to get a smash burger in Toronto. There is indoor seating available, and the food tastes incredible. A quick spot for lunch if your in a rush.
Worker was extremely friendly and food was great!
The margins to making a burger hit that great category is really tough as it is an average type of food. That said this is a decent burger. Wouldnt go out of my way to get it. A bit expensive. Onion rings are excellent.
Quite possible the best smash burger in Toronto. Always consistent, always good, and the staff are great. No frills, mostly pick up but a few tables to eat in, and the fries are routinely good as well. Its always busy, and the potato bun that they use matches the beef perfectly! #ContestEntry
Loved It Loved It Loved It By far the best cheeseburger I ve ever had
The best smash burger in Toronto hands down! Perfectly crisp patty and their toppings are unreal- melt in your mouth potato bun. On weekends they have a specialty stuffed crueller for $4 and they change their flavours regularly/ it s a must try! Not a big burger person but I will return here time and time again. It does get busy so try to go during off peak hours.
Solid Smash Burger
I love a smash burger! Burger Drops has been highly rated so I was excited to give it a try. I ordered the double cheese burger and it was delicious. The meat was well seasoned and the bun was sooo soft. I highly recommend burger drops!
Definitely worth coming here. The sauces and cheese were so yummy. I recommend the original with curly cheese fries.
One of the best smash burgers and fries I ve ever had. The fries are so good.. wish I d have this in Montreal
I got the double classic and cheese fries. Burger was large and the toppings were simple, yet delicious. The fries were also really good and the cheese sauce was delectable. The fries come with a jalapeño relish which some people in my group didn t like, so just be forewarned. Also not a lot of tables to sit, so expect to have to take your food to go.
This is my favorite burger place, Smashed Patty. The patty itself is delicious, the seasoning is just right, the crust is on the end, and the soft brioche. The single and double have completely different menus. The single has a harmonious taste of other ingredients, but it lacks a bit of juiciness. I think its a bit thick, and the double is juicy and soft, but the taste of the other ingredients isnt that big. There are pros and cons, so take your pick...and the onion rings are really delicious. This is a must-have choice, because the taste is in the dough itself. Add spicy mayo. It goes well with it when dipped in it.
Kept seeing this spot pop up on recommendations on TikTok and finally was in the area to try it. My expectations were high and I was still blown away! I got the double original burger with curly fries. The burger patties were crispy and still so juicy, the best smash burger I ve had hands down! The curly fries were pretty good, cooked perfectly just wished it had a bit more seasoning. The female cashier came out to check on us as we were eating and she had a great positive energy. Definitely my go to burger spot when in the area.
The food here is fantastic! The burgers are honestly some of the best I ve had in the GTA if not the best. The flavor of the patty really stands out, which is rare; at many places, patties aren t seasoned properly, but here, every bite is packed with flavor. The quality and taste of the bun complement the patty perfectly, making it a 10/10 experience. The only downside was the nuggets, which were a bit dry and bland. However, I wouldn t judge a burger place on their nuggets. When it comes to burgers, these guys truly know what they re doing. Dietary restrictions: halal
I absolutely enjoyed my meal here. Burger was amazing! The curly fries? 10 out of 10! I dont usually like curly fries cause sometimes it could be too salty and not crispy. But it was a pleasant surprise when it was also good! Nice and crispy and not overly seasoned to the point you cant taste the potato. Also! Please do yourself a favour and get their banana pudding! It is to die for! Best banana pudding I ve ever had. Its the perfect balance of creaminess and sweet (not too sweet, the one I prefer) and it doesnt taste like fake bananas. It would be 11/10 if it has real banana chunks but its still perfect! Atmosphere is only 4 stars as I can smell the vinegar they use for sanitizing all over the place. Too strong!
Tried the double original and the banana pudding. The burger was good, the patty was thin and crispy, but personally I think there s something missing in the sauce. Wasn t a fan of the banana pudding here. Parking: There are 2-3 parking spots in front of the building but they are usually occupied.
Probably the best burger i ve ever had and the cheese fries were equally as good. The banana pudding flavour was good but I wish there was a textural aspect to it.
First time here. Tried this place after alo. Small shop but gets really busy. I tried coming here before but they werent opened yet. Anyways, a bit of a wait since they are sooo busy (tons of takeout happening here!) A few small tables to dine in. Burger was epic! Loved the smash Burger, so crispy! Definitely better than alo go! I will definitely return next time I am in the area and crav8ng smash burgers. I also do recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of smash burgers!!
Great burgers, I appreciate they re not trying to reinvent the burger but just focusing on making a simple delicious burger. It s nice that the menu is simple. Curly fries were crispy and well seasoned. The service was fast even though it was busy. Not a big area for dine in seating. So if you want to dine in, you may want to go with it s not peak times or pray you get a seat when you get there.
Best burger in the city!!!
Top 10 burger Ive had and Ive probably had over a 1,000 burgers in my life time.
Ordered via Uber Eats for the first time after word of mouth convinced me to give it a try. We had the Original burgers. Super crispy edges, the grilled onions were full of flavour, and were suckers for a potato roll. Well priced and they even threw in an order of onion rings, which were excellent, for free on a small order. Will definitely order again!
Highly overrated. The double original cheese smashburger was too greasy. The curly cheese fries tasted like they used cheap processed cheese. I got sudden food poisoning within an hour of eating the food. Would not recommend as there are much better burger options in the city. Counter service only. Limited seating is available inside or on a small patio.
So I had heard a lot about this spot for whatever everyone says is a great hamburger. I will say I was pretty disappointed. I guess compared to McDonald s or fast food. It s a decent burger. But this is a very average burger without much going for it. They have two selections on the menu, which is basically a Canadian and American hamburger with some different toppings and sauces. The burger itself is pretty pricey for what comes out to be a very thin patty. There s actually very little meat to the patty. Everyone talks about how crispy it is and that s basically just because it s so thin it basically just fries in its own fat without much meat on the inside. Like if this was a restaurant and you wanted to try to make it a bit undercooked so it s juicy you couldn t because there literally is no inside to the patty; hence most people get the double burger to try to make up for the smaller patty. It wasn t a bad burger it was.very average. Definitely overhyped.
Bad experience with staff .....
There are just few menu choices but thats probably the reason why their burger are so good and tasty. I really recommed this place for a quick bite. The burgers are also fairly priced
Might be best burger in the city, I love that they re bringing relish back
Incredible, authentic smash burgers. Meat is perfectly caramelized - and the flavour - wow!!!! Quality. Buns are soft, and the burger sauce is 10/10. We make it a must stop every time we are in Toronto. Can t wait to come back.
Very good burger and I very much enjoyed the curly fries as well. Not the biggest burger connoisseur but, can understand why this place is so popular.
Perfectly executed smash burger (got the American) paired with on-point curly fries. Fry portion was surprisingly big. Absolutely delectable!
The restaurant is not Halal. Google report it as Halal... not the only place with this problem
Solid 4.5 burger. Crinkle fries were great. Liked the burger better than Shake Shack. Top 3 burger in the city, maybe even the best. Came in 09/27/24. Got a double patty Original Burger with Curly Fries, Onion Rings and Drop dip. Came to $33.27 (15% tip included). Was a fantastic burger. It s seasoned just right, it doesn t fall apart, the sides of the patty are crispy but the center is juicy. Still my #1 in the city. They no longer have crinkle fries, but the curly fries weren t bad. The onion rings weren t so greasy, and had some flavor and crunch to them. Wish they had a branch in the downtown core. So far I d say my favorite in the city. 1) Burger Drops, 2) Simple Burger 3) Cabanos 4) Five Guys 5) Shake Shack Wheelchair accessibility: None. They really should add a wooden ramp for disabled people and strollers
The staff is very nice. Very quick service. They have limited offerings, but hey they specialize in the burgers they make. They have a veg burger option. The burger however was a tad bit greasy. Not throughly enjoyable. Some indoor seating, a bench outside and an outdoor standing table. Wouldnt not recommend it, but wouldnt go out of my way to get it. Vegetarian options: Veg burger available - need to ask Dietary restrictions: Veg burger Parking: 2 hr free parking at kitchen stuff plus. A quick walk from there. Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: No. Stairs at the entrance
The food definitely lived up to the positive reviews and hype. Great burgers great prices! The only thing we thought was not great was the banana pudding. It was definitely not at all like the banana pudding most people make.
This is the first time I tried Burger Drops with my family, the staff is friendly. we all loved its the food and I recommend to try American and original burgers .
Overrated Burger taste like five guys Banana pudding is gross, even if it was half the price I wouldn t get it again. Curly fries were phenomenal
My first time here at liberty village and I would say if you re craving for fries and you d like to try something new, their spicy cheese fries is 5 star! The atmosphere is warm and you d feel comfortable right away, they have great staff and the open kitchen is good to see! They keep the place clean, and they prep your burgers properly, my husband did mention the party is a bit dry but overall he pretty much inhaled the food in seconds! Their price range for couple is reasonable given that the location is a bit upscale. Their wait time is about less than 10 mins. Highly recommend!
The Best burgers you can get
The patties were real beef, the bacon was real bacon, the cheese was real cheese and the pickles were real pickles. This place is awesome.
Decent smash burgers
Wicked burgers but even better people!
Best burger in the city hands down. Great people who work there as well and genuinely want you to love the food.
No reason for the over hyped reviews. I made the mistake of ordering a single burger which comes with only a sliver of actual beef. Again my mistake maybe for ordering a single smash burger, the patties are thin by definition. But this just tasted like bread and condiments. They should consider taking the single off the menu. Aside from that the bottom bun was stale. Now the curly fries really were pretty good tho.
Loved the burgers. We tried single and double with curly fries. Portions were good size.
Best burger I ve had in years. Outstanding.
This place is more for pick up than sit down. A steady number of patrons and delivery drivers coming in to pick up orders. The staff does well to keep it moving. We ordered two single combos, one with curly fries and one with onion rings. It was alright. For us it was very overhyped by a friend but still enjoyable. Id say if you are in the area and curious give it a try but there are definitely better options in the city.
Amazing burger, we ordered an American veggie burger and it was delicious.
You don t need any blog posts or articles to tell you where the best burgers in the city are being slinged out. I m telling you, and it s here. Before you even enter the shop, the aroma wafting in the air is intoxicating. Got 2 original doubles for my girlfriend and I and we inhaled them. The buns were so nice and soft, the cook on the patties was beautiful, with those perfectly executed crispy edges. Sauce was great too, everything just worked so well together. We also got an order of their curly cheese fries let me tell you one thing. They were so damn delicious. The fries themselves, perfect texture and crispiness, the jalapeño relish, just the right hint of heat, and the cheese sauce, man, give me a litre of that stuff. Think I spent close to $40 with tax and tip for everything. The flavours were just elite, don t walk, run to Burger Drops!
I really like this place, it s my favourite burger spot in the neighbourhood, I just really would like more drink options on the menu, I would love if they had Jarritos.
Absolutely fire
Great smash burger. Simple quality toppings. Nice Drop sauce. Great service at a private catered event in Unionville. My only disappointment. In short order they ran out of chips/fries? They knew the event had X + number of people and way before the event was half full no more fries/chips. Otherwise friendly staff and good smashy! Id recommend and hire them to cater.
Food was excellent. Fresh buns, flavourful patties and amazing crinkle cut potatoes. A table became available just as our order was ready so we ate in but place got too hot so we took half the food home.
Excellent home style burgers just like mom used to make. Everything was just right! Cheese, toasted bun,pickles...mmmm. Fries were great just slightly under cooked. The bottled root beer was a great addition. The service was very good and the staff very friendly. Id highly recommend a visit for delicious burgers! Ill be back next time were in town.
didn t receive my full order, just assumed it would be in the bag
Definitely one of the best smash burgers in Toronto.
Service was great, food was ready in less than two minutes. Curly friends were great, but the onion rings were not the best (too much batter). Burger was a solid 4 out of 5, but not worth going out of your way for.
simple, but executed well. probably the smash burger in the city! curly fries are great and banana pudding is a must try. mostly take out so seating is limited
Food is great, wish they put some bar stools out in their balcony. Small investment for their guests not to stand and eat.
Had the original single burger and curly fries. Burger was good, they served the whole pickle in the burger instead of diced. Curly fries were crispy and well seasoned. Staff were friendly. Only a few seats.
One of the best burgers Ive had in my life! Service was very fast and friendly.
As good as it gets! Lettuce bed is a fantastic option if youre skipping the bun. I highly recommend opting for curly fries over regular when ordering the cheese fries theyre a game changer. And dont miss out on their garlic mayo its absolutely delicious. Photos don t do em justice tho!
It truly was love at first bite. This place really exceeded my expectations which were already high. It was a fantastic meal and burger. I opted for the crinkle cut fries which were amazing. Everything has a very good distinct and natural taste which is what real food should taste like. Unlike most other fast food locations with the amount of toxic ingredients and additives that are added (which I cant list in a single review) Hats off to everyone working here! I cannot wait to come back again to the city for this!
The best burger in all of Canada, hands down. AND the best fries.
How can you not like this spot. One of the best spots for a great burger
Petition to bring the sweet potato fries back please I m begging you
Standard atmosphere. Standard service. The burger was so overseasoned (way too salty) it was inedible. This is supposed to be the best burger place in the city. I havent thrown out food in hundreds of dining experiences, A massive disappointment.
Staff were friendly, and despite being very very busy we got our burgers pretty fast. Easily a top 3 smash burger Ive ever had, might even be the best. Really impressed, well done.
Very juicy burgers! Lots of flavour! Highly recommended the Original, cant go wrong!
The Toronto food scene never disappoints. I heard great things about this burger joint and got to try it for the first time last night. Oh man, what a delicious burger. Got the single original, double original, curly fries and two cans of coke Zero, all for $30. The burgers were cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly and very flavourful. Toppings were perfect. Curly fries cooked perfectly and the right amount of seasoning. Great value, and the staff were super friendly. I will most definitely will be back.
A burger lovers absolute dream! My boyfriend and I went here last night per a friends recommendation. The line was out the door so we were hesitant that it would take a long time but we were totally wrong! The burgers are simple yet sooooo tasty. You d think with all the people there last night that maybe the burger wouldn t be fresh. Well, all our food (burgers and onion rings) came out HOT. If you re a sauce lover, this is the place for you too. We got their burger sauce and garlic mayo and yummmm it was good. Even before we got to the front the whole vibe of the restaurant was great. The employees behind the counters were laughing and didn t seem stressed one bit. They were engaging with their customers and I couldn t help but notice how the customers weren t a hindrance but who they were there for. To top it off, one of the co-owners came out to where the tables are and asked us how our food was. We had a lovely conversation and she was just so friendly and we could tell she really was passionate about the family business. Everyone, check this place out! You won t regret it!
Excellent Smashburger and curly fries.
They nail the perfect crispy patty in their American Burger. Their banana pudding is a creamy and sweet treat to end the meal with. Great food. I just think that the cheese can be a bit overwhelming in the burger and the fries seemed under seasoned.
Definitely one of the best smash burgers in all of Toronto.
Awesome!!
We decided to make a stop for food before going to the bud stage and my lord, was it ever a great decision. My gps suggested to walk around but we walked under the exhibition Go station and it the restaurant was only 5 minutes away. We expected expensive prices and were pleasantly surprised to have amazing food with amazing prices. Everything about the place is amazing. Clean atmosphere, great food, space to sit and eat even the washrooms were clean spotless. I ll definitely be returning and suggest anyone in the area to stop in. Even has veggie burgers for those looking for an alternative. Highly recommended!
OMG the best burger ever
Shout out to Greg and his wife for saving me a veggie burger while attending Bastid s BBQ yesterday. All the other vendors at the event had run out of their vegetarian options, so they quite literally saved my empty stomach s day it was delicious and the curly fries are fire! Just wanted to give my extra thanks!
Super chill place to get simple smash burgers and fries in Liberty Village
Really great burger, lots of hype around the city about it. Solid choice, will be back to try the American burger.
A Big Mac would have been better. This place doesnt sell anything worth writing home about. I ordered an American double cheeseburger and a can of coke. $17.00!!! I specified no onions or lettuce. NOT what I received. I ended up getting a single with no cheese or onions. It had lettuce and it had no sauce in it. My walk in order took 20 minutes!!! It was super hot in that store. The burger itself was mediocre. There was absolutely NOTHING special about it. All the hype about this place is just that, hype. If you want to overpay for a basic burger with the high probability that you wont get what you ordered then go here. Otherwise go buy 1kg of lean ground beef from the grocery store and make your own burgers. You will have saved yourself, time, money and aggravation. Dont believe other reviews. Clearly this generation has ZERO clue about food quality. Neither does this... Ahem, Burger joint. HIGHLY NOT recommended. There is NO excuse for this level of carelessness and lack of customer care by a company that sells overpriced mediocrity. Youve been warned!
Solid burgers. Just nothing special. Its just really decent burgers.
Amazing burgers and fries. Definitely worth the price and visit.
Best burger in town
so good we don t have a photo for you! The cheese sauce for the fries is frighteningly good! Still having a mental argument with myself over which is better an American or just the cheeseburger !! Guess we ll have to try again as a tie breaker!
The food is delicious and the service is excellent highly recommend the crinkle fries, veggie burger (American Style) and the cinnamon twist.
1 star reviews are propaganda.
Uber driver messed up my order, food never came as the driver decided to cancel my order and told me to reorder. Burger drops went above and beyond to get me my food personally after hearing about this. Very great service and gesture. Will be coming back again and burger was great Thanks guys!
Pretty good place for getting good quality burgers. Place look decent and tidy. Feels like classic American spot where you are getting something simple but tasty at the same time Although veggie burgers are not impressive at all unfortunately Vegetarian options: There are few option of veggie burgers Parking: Along the street
Best burgers in the city. Get the original with bacon. You wont be disappointed! Shout out Chris for always being awesome!
Great experience, have to try the coconut pineapple slush
Amazing little burger place. One of my gripes with burger joints around Toronto is that the burger is pricey and has some novelty or the other to them, but are fundamentally unsatisfying to eat for some reason or the other. Not the case with this joint, you have only a handful of options but the quality of the smash burger is amazing, and I agree with all the glowing testaments here. Their fries are pretty great too, fresh, crunchy and soft inside. Place gets very busy and there is limited place to eat - it is primarily focused on pickup. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have simple quality cheeseburgers.
Sorry Elija, Burger PRIEST is still the best! Must try the Double OG cheeseburger and fries. Highly recommended.
Delicious burgers , super friendly service !
great!
Their service is excellent and the food is delicious,
This place is the best! But Im here to shoutout the sister of the owner. I feel so bad for forgetting her name. But when they were closing up she came up to me and my partner. Instead of kicking us out she checked-in to see if everything was okay and then offered us a free banana pudding! Damn talk about making it one of the best experiences. Burgers, fries, and desserts are amazing. But Dare I say the customer service even AMAZING-ER. Cannot go wrong with this place.
Great place, good burgers Smaller so you might not get a seat though Food
Id just as soon save 3 bucks and get a Big Mac. Taste is very similar, even if the meat is far better here than McDs
The place was great, the staff was very kind and efficient. The seating area was very clean. I personally wasn t a fan of the food that s why the three stars. The fries were great but I was expecting a little more from the burger considering everywhere says it s the best. It was a little plain for me.
I ordered on uber eats twice never will again in my life and wont order from burger drops again 1st time I order a bacon cheese burger I said no cheese because I cant eat American process cheese I put that in the notes they still put it on my burger anyways second time I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon I paid for bacon and requested bacon I didnt even get bacon wont be ordering from them again. They dont read order notes properly or they just dont care. Unprofessional!
The best smash burger in Toronto. Tables are hard to come by, and the bathroom is on another floor, but the staff seems to genuinely care and the food is top notch. Food : 5/5
If you haven t had Burger Drops, get there now! Fantastic burgers bar none! The fries oh yeah, great, (any of them) and the onion rings, you can t go wrong. That s the food, the Team, well they are there to ensure you experience is top shelf, and they go beyond. Yeah I love this place go there you too will love it and it will be a go to for sure, I m already looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Burger Drops!
Great burger. The slushie was small for the price. Onion rings were really crispy but hard. 2 parking spots if you re lucky !
One of my favourite burger spot. Every time I try a new burger I keep comparing it to this spot and it s only one place came close. Their buns are soft and the entire burger is just soft and juicy. Staff is super friendly. A must try if you haven t.
Best burger in the GTA!
I m not sure I understand the hype. The burger was pretty good, although the meat was slightly overcooked and dry for my taste. The toppings were good but lacked a fresh component that would balance out the richness of the meat, cheese, and grilled onions. Also wasn t a fan of the fries: they were too salty and reminded me of arbys frozen curly fries.
After all the hype Ive heard about it, I finally decided to try it. Smash burgers are a category that I dont typically get in general, but I am glad I tried this spot. I enjoyed the combination of the meat, cheese, pickles, onions and their house sauce. So simple, yet so delicious. Id say the only issue I have is the price, but its a great treat.
Small burger place, order came relatively quick and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. The american single cheeseburger was yummy but the veggie patty for the american single veggie burger was a little mushy. Curly fries were to die for, so crispy and a little bit of spice as they are seasoned. Total for a burger combo and another burger itself came to around 30 dollars.
I had to write this review today as I experienced a drop in the quality of their burgers and wanted to do the right thing. I went to Burger Drops for the first time in February of 2024 and was blown away by the quality of the burgers and by the kindness of their staff. Today I went back there with a lot of excitement...the staff were still amazing but unfortunately there was a noticeable drop in the quality of their burger patties. The patties were soaked in oil and the oil didnt taste fresh at all. This was something I tasted but didnt speak of in front of my partner but she who was also with me the first time in February , noticed it too and spoke first. She said the same thing I was thinking about...and honestly beyond having a dry mouth for hours afterwards, Im sad to see this happening to a place that I loved and boasted about to many friends. I still give them 3 stars because this couldve been a mistake or whatever but I hope that the correct course. I now seriously need convincing to drive all the way to the west end of Toronto for this burger from now on. I dont know if I ever will.
My favourite burger in the city. Original is the best!
Fantastic burger. Top 3 in the city and possibly the best overall. They get very busy and this can lead to wait times with the line going out the door. Very limited seating so you probably wont get a seat. There are also limited seats outside. Parking: Some parking on the street but you may be walking a short distance depending on where you can find a spot
This place has a really good Smashburger. I got the double it had pickles and cheese. I prefer rotten onions these ones are cooked, but it was still an excellent burger and I had crispy edges everything you want to smash burger to me. Sorry for my photo, but it was such a good burger. I was like I gotta get a shot, and make a review.
Mid, taste just like every other burger place on TikTok and instagram. Nothing memorable. Happy burger, burger drops, etc. taste the same, over hyped.
Staff are very nice and welcoming! Otherwise burger are very overhyped according to my foodie standard. Curly fries were very good, burger was good, chicken sandwich needs to be taken off the menu (glorified mcsandwich)
Perfection. Husband said it s the best burger he s had, it beat out his old fave 5 guys burger. My veggie burger was amazing and to know it s prepared in house was even better. The potato bun was soft and the lettuce was crispy and the sauce was so tasty. I know I ll be craving this again very soon. Also the person who took our order was so friendly! I hope to see more of these restaurants open up in the future. I ll be a loyal customer Vegetarian options: Veggie burger is freshly made in store and tastes incredible!
One of the places I have ever ate from the staff was super friendly the food did not only look good but tasted fantastic definitely recommend
One the burgers I ve ever had
I went to burger drop s yesterday & had a double American with bacon & extra drop sauce. The burger was good and I would recommend. The young lady that took my order was very nice excellent customer service & the place was clean & nice atmosphere.
We just happen to end up at this little place after a concert and it was so delicious. The staff was very kind and nice and the fries were very delicious.
The best burgers in the city! They are so tasty because their meat is seasoned well, veggies are crisp and fresh, and cheese is melted to perfection. We will return for a special treat, however, prices are a premium. Vegetarian options: They do have a veggie burger Parking: The street is very busy and extremely hard to find parking.
Taste good but expensive
If you want one of the best smash burgers in Toronto this is the place to go. There ll most likely be a 10-15 minute wait but it is well worth it. Prices are fair for a Toronto burger place, double patty is a must to get your appetites worth. The original with the delicious caramelized onions and pickles and house sauce are just phenomenal. They do an excellent crispy crust on the patty s while keeping the patty juicy in the center and softer. I ll certainly come back.
Excellent food and service. Can t say enough good things about this spot, will be back again next time I m in the area. We had almost everything off the menu and it was all a home run!
Not much space to sit but it was one of the top burgers for me
Food is amazing
Yea this was an insane burger. Double is pretty filling so a single if you got a small stomach is good enough. Ebe though theyre smashed they are still fairly thick. Super fast and organized service with great tasting food.
The extra crispy edges of the meat patty made the burger. In fact, 2 cheese slices was too much cause the meat tasted so good I felt the cheese overpowering
As a burger aficionado, i have travelled around the world and had some of the best burgers but i would say burger drops is in top 3! Incredible! The story doesnt end there, they were experiencing a power outage and i didnt have any cash or a physical card to withdraw money to pay for my meal. The burger drops team offered me a free double cheese burger, fries and a drink! These guys deserve a medal for humanity.
Highly recommended for burger lovers
Skip the sides, get the burger (8.4/10) - best in the city at the moment
In a world of gourmet burgers piled high with exotic toppings, Burger Drop is a refreshing breath of fresh air. They specialize in what they do best: simple, delicious smash burgers served with friendly service and a refreshing slushie. Here, the patty is king. Smashed thin and cooked to juicy perfection, the focus is on freshness. The beef was tender with slight crisp edges. Their house sauce had a Thousand Island vibe, and the cheese provided balance and pickles acidity to offset the grease. As a side I had onion rings. They were salted, super crunchy and tasted like corn pops off the top. The toppings are synonymous with a classic cheeseburger: Grilled onions in this case, pickles, and cheese. I still have yet to see a joint smash their patties with onions, but this is a start. Burger Drop wont win any awards for burger innovation, but thats exactly the point. They deliver a perfectly executed smash burger experience with friendly, efficient service. Its a testament to the fact that sometimes, the simplest things done right are the most satisfying. In Toronto, this place right now is number 1 until proven otherwise.
The register stopped worked for a bit of time and delayed some of my groups orders. Despite it being a trying week - flooding in Toronto - the staff got us samples of their new drinks and some sweets to make up for the delay (which we didnt expect!). They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. On top of that, I loved the music, which was a good vibe personally. Theyre really quick to serve and their food was awesome too! 5/5 Would come again, very lovely staff and food.
In love with Anthoula who took orders for me and my friend! So personable and professional, she makes me want to come back to try the pudding. This is the first smash burger I liked, I had the double original. I would recommend the American one if you want more veggies in it I ll order that next time. Thanks for a great meal and wonderful service.
Dropped in (pun intended) as I just moved work offices to Atlantic. Staff was amazing, great system with the beepers to let you know your food is ready! Burger was good for sure, not sure its hype worthy but then again Im not sure what else can be done to a burger. My only critique would be the inability to choose your toppings. Cheese fries were fantastic as well. Definitely worth a visit.
Delicious burger, the fries had a lot of flavour especially when you dip in with spicy mayo. Would go back again.
Had the Original and the American and both burgers delivered and made me want to stand up and applaud and salute the owner. Ive been wanting to hit this place up and it definitely smashes it out of the park. Thank you for being in this city and for doing it right.
