Honestly been there 2 days in a row for the first and second times. Im amazed to see the Reviews....I understand they were in the past. As of today and yesterday....eating there after 9pm....food was fresh...Ground Beef Tacos and then Ground Beef Quesadilla....toppings fresh...Customer Service both times....welcoming, fast and as professional as need be. Plan on doing business here going forward. ❤️ Oh and probably most importantly...price to food quantity/quality....unbeatable .
DISGUSTING!! I could tell there was something wrong as soon as I talked to one of the workers. He looked stoned and didn’t communicate very well. While he was making my burrito he was also distracted talking to another worker, and I saw him touch a dirty wash cloth and clean part of the table. He then proceeded to wrap my burrito after touching it! I got a refund, how disgusting! Do not go to this place !!!!
Going there often to get burritos, never disappointed ! Every toppings are fresh and sauces are tasty. I would recommend the crispy chicken over the grilled chicken.
I come here regularly for Burritos/bbowls and noticed that they have been slowly cutting down on the portion sizes. I purchased a burrito bowl today and i paid $14 after tax. I had to buy a second dinner because this did not fill me up. The taste is a 6/10, very bland. The portion size is well, you can rate that yourself.
I stopped by to pick up something quick for me and my wife. I noticed the customer before me order something with fried egg on it and asked him was it good. So I ordered myself a burrito and for my wife a bowl that was supposed to be a beef, bacon and egg bowl. The first red flag was the young lady working there had earphones in her ear and talking to her boyfriend the whole time and was taking forever. 2nd they were out of bacon. 3rd I asked for fresh lettuce because what she was putting in the bowl was brown, she lied and said it was freshly cut, 4th I watched her search for eggs in the fridge. I walked outside to give my wife her drink came back in and she bagged both meals. I asked did she put egg in the bowl she said yes. I opened the bag and surprise no egg.5th She next lied and said she mixed the egg into the ground beef. I said no you fried to eggs and put them on the previous customers meal. 6th She lied again and said he ordered only egg. I told her I saw her looking for the eggs, and there was no need to lie. She offered my money back for the bowl which I accepted. Horrible customer service!!
If you’re looking for something thats quick fast and easy then this is fine. The ingredients looked very fresh but were served very cold. The steak was very salty. Large portion sizes. I think what turned me off the most was saying that the bug zapper was filled with bugs and it’s right in the front.
Ordered a shrimp burrito and calamari. Shrimp burrito was definitely on the small side (regular). They use those small cold water shrimp which shrink to nothing when cooked. I asked for medium heat and couldn't detect any spice at all. My biggest disappointment is the pathetically small portion for the calamari. This is what you get for $10. I'll stick with Bolets and Burrito Boyz.
Ordered a large braised beef naked burrito and a pound of chicken wings. The portion of the naked burrito was HUGE, it could easily feed two people and was a steal at $11. I have to agree with a lot of the comments and say the burrito bowl tasted very bland. It could have used a lot of flavour/salt and this is coming from someone that hates high levels of salt. Once I added some salt though it was much tastier. The chicken wings were decent but also needed more salt lol. I think this place will be too notch once they add more flavour to their food!
Burrito tastes very good. I would recommend this place.
Order a regular poutine and you get a container with gravy and no fries and they ll argue with you that regular poutine doesn t come with fries.
Been going here for a while and it looks like now skimping out on the size. Burrito is 1/2 the size it used to be and frankly a rip off for $14

The burritos are good. Im not sure why sometimes they ask you what toppings you want and other times theyll just make the burritos with every topping without asking. Would appreciate getting to pick what I want on the burrito. Edit: they store closed an hour early so when I went to go to fix my order I couldnt.
ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST!!! My son ordered a burrito for delivery today and was charged an exorbitant service charge. They advertised a .99 cent delivery fee but hid a $7.51 service charge in the final price. A $10.99 burrito ends up costing us $23.55. Whether its the ordering platform is irrelevant. They have to be aware and take responsibility for the orders of their products. Your choice of partners reflect your values and respect for customers..

I just ordered burrito bowls today and it was one of the worst bowls I have ever had: the rice was completely dry. It was hard to literally chew it. The pulled beef was dry and overly salty. It felt very underwhelming for the price of the bowl. Totally disappointed!

First time coming here - wont be back. It was right after they opened for the day, but the cilantro was somehow barely any left and it was brown & yellow, gross. Rice came from the microwave. Menu says large jerk chicken burrito is $10.99, but after tax paid $13.55? Change the sign if your prices have changed please!
Unfortunate. I was looking for a quick and healthy lunch on the go. If I wasn t so bloody hungry I would have thrown right in the garbage. The poor guy behind the counter who barely spoke english literally had to dig through the lettuce hopper to find lettuce that wasn t brown. The meat quality was terrible and full of knuckles. The hot sauce was terrible and the guac was basically green sour cream. Awful.
Found what I thought was a pubic hair in my burrito, turns out it was a piece of a scrub pad.

This is a seriously good burrito. They make the sauces in house, if you like spicy their habanero sauce is legit. Will return, for sure.

I ordered a cheese quesadilla with salsa on the side for my lunch break. When I opened it up to eat it, I noticed they had put the salsa inside the quesadilla with barely any cheese. Never in my life have I seen a quesadilla with salsa inside of it or knew I ordered a salsa quesadilla.

This unassuming little place served up some of the best burritos and tacos weve had in the city. I had a braised beef bowl, my wife had the fish tacos, and my son had the beef tacos. Good food, great portions, good prices, fresh veggies, halal .. this place exceeded our expectations. Pic shows a mural on the wall.
I had been wanting to try something here for awhile now, but never had the time until yesterday. I had a regular shrimp burrito and it was absolutely delicious with all the ingredients and then some that I wanted. For the price point, the serving is perfect and the taste was great. Im going back for sure!!

Is it too difficult to follow instructions? Do you have to put your crazy spicy sauce even though I never asked for it? Do you even read the order when you get it from the Uber application?!
I tried the large grilled chicken burrito, and it was tasty. The gentlemen working were both very friendly, I was greeted when I walked in and they took my order even when I was second in line. Nice flavours and was served hot throughout. Will go back!
Came for lunch and they have this poor guy by himself trying to handle the cash, fryer, grill, burrito station, online orders... Shouldnt wait 30 mins standing around so many people left just from the time taken. If you are short staffed.. Stop handling online orders or youll miss out on the people who come in, or as an owner come in yourself and cover instead of making the front line worker suffer the brunt of everyones impatience....
This place is a joke! The only reason I m giving it two stars is because the food was OK , to say the best. When I arrived I wasn t charged for guacamole. When I told him I wanted guac after the fact (because I wasn t offered) he literally put a teaspoon of guac on my burrito and was like don t worry about it. Then he tried to charge me for it at which point I said there s no way I m paying for this. While I was standing in there, a woman ordered 20 minutes prior and her order was being made when she arrived so that was less then impressive. Also the bug zapper in the front of the restaurant is pretty gross. Lastly, if you re working in customer service you shouldn t be on a phone call while you re taking my order. I would avoid this place if you have better options.
I cant believe I tipped 15%!! I said no spicy toppings on my burrito bowl, he offered sour cream and then put red hot sauce. I paid extra for guacamole and didnt get any. And the meat is cold.

I flip flop around my favourite take out burrito places and Burrito Queen is my current front runner in the east end. Lots of options, portion size is good price is fair too
This place is really amazing for a burrito/ taco we tried the fish and vegetarian ones ! It was totally worth it the habanero sauce is made freshly! The owner is really sweet and friendly!
Got a regular jerk chicken burrito with lettuce, cheese, green+red onions, black beans, corn, red sauce, hot sauce, rice, and refried beans. If I didnt see it made in front of me Id tell you it was frozen and microwaved before it was grilled. Very small portion size in comparison to other burrito places. Also the hot sauce is very mild

FINALLY!!! An unpretentious Authentic Burrito joint. Burrito was Large Delicious and Reasonably priced. I predict this place will soon constantly have line-ups out the door. After placing my order I noticed people outside waiting to get in. Its a TINY place that serves Big Flavour.

Very cheap ingredients. The fish tacos had 1 fish in each taco the size of a small pinky finger. Flavour was lacking and very stingy with protein.
Ordered 4 items through skip the dishes, 3 items didnt show up, 1 was made totally wrong. Burrito Queen took no ownership of the issue.
Had the ground beef burrito and thought it was delicious. Loved the olives in it - an unexpected topping option that worked really well. Service was friendly and my burrito was a fantastic portion for the price. They must have taken the comments here into consideration as the flavour was delicious with the right amount of salt. Will eat here again soon!

This is the most authentic burrito in the neighborhood. I have been eating in riverside for a couple decades and the other places are okay but this is a step above and better quality food. Ive eaten at Burrito Queen about 8 times now over some months and after trying a bunch of things from the menu, the best is either the ground beef or braised beef burrito to get that real authentic flavor to me. The poutine is really good. They cook the gravy in a sauce pan per order so the heat is perfect and cheese melted just right. You dont see that anywhere else. Maybe that will change as they get busier. For people that like serious hot pepper flavor and heat Id recommend extra habanero sauce. I eat ghost peppers, scorpion peppers, bondas etc... and while it will totally burn someone that is not used to real hot peppers, this sauce takes me to an enjoyable burn with good spicy habanero flavor on the burrito. I can only dream they have some ghost pepper sauce some day as that is the best most fragrant tasting pepper of them all.
