Korean Kimbab takeout restaurant.
My go-to place for lunch! I love the different varieties of kimbap and have been eating here almost every day. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is really chill.
Reasonable price, tasty and filling. The hot dog in the kimbap was nicely toasted. There's 4 bar stools for eating in. This was a great alternative to the hospital food courts. The kids kimbap is a small narrow roll , better off getting other rolls.
The kimbap here is very fresh and tastes homemade. Fair prices and quick service too. Highly recommend!
Not a bad place for a quick take out. I got the spicy pork kimbap and it was okay. There isn’t anything wrong with the food or the service or the place. Nothing is bad but nothing is really that great either. The price was decent though. Overall a good place but I don’t know if I would crave it.
Great variety on the kimbap options. Tasted pretty fresh and ingredients were pretty good quality. Good portion size at reasonably good prices. Quick and friendly service. Mainly a takeout spot but has 4 counter seats if you want to dine in.
Fresh, not heavy on seasoning, very filling & tastes like homemade kimbop. So far tried tuna & sausage. I liked that tuna kimbop was very light on mayo, honey mustard dresing with sausage kimbop worked well.
Tried the classic Korean kimbap one afternoon and thought it was just ok. It was premade and sitting in the fridge. The crab stick they used isn't the best quality and was quite dry and the overall kimbap lacked flavour. I personally prefer the other kimbap option in the Aura food court which I think is the same price but they make it fresh to order and is seasoned better.
This kimbap place is excellent. They make everything fresh to order. The kimbap is perfectly sized and portioned. I like the dipping sauce that comes with it. Every roll I've tried is delicious, but my favourite so far is the donkatsu. It's a great option for a quick snack or a complement to a meal.
I think this is the best kimbap in Toronto. It is much larger than Korean kimbap and feels like the special kimbap sold in Korea. I tried it with sausage kimbap and dynamic kimbap. (I asked to leave out cucumbers because I don t eat them) Both were delicious, but my style was sausage kimbap. Moreover, eating tteokbokki, which is an essential part of kimbap, is the icing on the cake. The tteokbokki is not too spicy or too sweet, so the seasoning is just right. Since its in front of my house, I plan to visit often when I feel like eating kimbap. I think its the best kimbap restaurant in downtown.
Nice little shop, the steamed rice is very soft and glutinous. I ve ordered tuna and spicy pork, both were good, and the waiter s attitude was also good.
Sooo delicious! Tteokbokki and kimbap are a must-have combo. The sauce and kimbap go perfectly together!
A bit salty for my liking but still a good place for a quick bite!
I went in yesterday at around 4:46 pm roughly. At first I didnt realize I walked past by it and was slightly far off close to College and Yonge. I realized I had to walk back. Which was perfect as I got my steps in. The shop is small and it was very convenient. As it was like a take put and go place. The kimbap I tried were really delicious and flavourful. I asked for 3 different ones and it took 10 minutes to make them. I was truly happy. I will always remember to not walk too far past the shop if I visit again which I will in the future. The service was excellent and also very accurate and accommodating as well. Even very polite. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were: Vegetable Kimbap, Yubu kimbap and Kids Kimbap. Plus, Veggie Bibimbap Dietary restrictions: They have a keto kimbap. I do believe there may be some that caters to vegetarians or Pascatarian. Not so much for vegan diets thats a definite, no, sorry.
Ordered kimchi, chili pepper, and keto kimbap, and they were all packaged and prepared nicely. Chili pepper kimbap was more spicy than expected, but nonetheless, it tasted great.
I tried their Tuna Kimbap and it was amazing! Tasty and worth the price. If you thought of the same Kimbap from Galleria, H Mart, or PAT, you are wrong! This is way too bigger, tastier, and fresher. I am absolutely coming back for the next time
Amazing food and service! Excellent value as well. Will be back again.
Spam Kimbap was fresh and delicious :). It would have been amazing if they had pan fried the spam.
I regularly attend this place for lunch in between work (the Spicy Pork is my go to 10/10) it s always quick, good and the workers are very friendly! Highly recommend
It s been 7 years since I left Jjin! I found a good kimbap restaurant^^ There are a variety of types and the atmosphere is clean and not like Gimcheon, Korea. You can feel the freshness of the ingredients. I think Ill go often~
Good food and clean Kitchen!
I finally had something to eat during lunch time!!! I love it because it s the same as the kimbap I used to eat in Korea haha.
Yesterday around 7pm, I ate pre-made tuna mayo kimbap, but I got diarrhea. It was hot inside the store, but I think the pre-made kimbap spoils easily if left at room temperature. I give it 5 stars. I buy and eat circle kimbap often and it s delicious. Please take care to keep pre-made kimbap refrigerated or to keep the temperature inside the store cool.
While supprting family during their stay at the UHN i walk by several times a day. I finally decided to go in today. The only thing wrong was that i should have stopped by at the beginning instead of near the end. Very filling, wonderful staff and at a great price. Love it.
Boss... I just ordered keto kimbap, but it was so salty that I couldnt eat it. I usually eat salty food, but this felt like salt kimbap...
Tried the classic and tuna gim bap. I think it tastes ok but i definitely think ive had better in Toronto for slightly cheaper than this place. I dont think they use kewpie mayo for the tuna gim bap and the seaweed had no seaweed flavour. Im not sure what the hype is about tbh.
This is a great lunch spot! Flavours are pleasant and not overly powerful. Portions are big and price is slightly better than expected for the area. The people who work here are super friendly. I came in near closing today and UK gave me some soup on the house, which was super appreciated. Defs recommend!
Small takeout joint serving kimbap, bibimbap and odeng soup. Got the Fishcake and the Kimbap. The fish cake in the odeng soup was too soft, as if it was sitting there for hours. Literally fell apart as I picked it with the chopsticks. Soup itself was good and flavorful, while not smelling too fishy! Got the classic kimbap, wish they included radish and pickle on the side. It was good, well made. Classic Kimbap. Space is rather small, as it s mostly a takeout restaurant but grateful they added a bar seating and some high chairs.
Tried gimbap for the first time and it was delicious! We ordered dynamite and donkatsu, but the dynamite was my favourite. Customer service was amazing!
Couldn t ask for more, Kimbap was exceptional with great value for the quality ingredient. Highly recommend chilli pepper kimbap, dongrami kimbap
It was so yummy made fresh to order , will definitely visit again next time I m in Toronto to try the others !
Im so happy everytime I order here! Made fresh each time and sometimes at the end of day there are sales. I have not encountered another authentic kimpab store in the downtown core and am so overjoyed this is so close to my work. Thank you to the staff that are so kind to me each time :)
This is going to be my new favourite takeout spot! Its one of the few places downtown where you can get lunch for less than $10. I tried the spam kimbap and it was delicious! Its probably more of a personal thing, but I like how its not as seasoned as traditional kimbap so it feels lighter. The oden also hit the spot on a cold winter day. They have a variety of options here and aside from the Dongrami roll, everything is priced reasonably. I saw the staff making my kimbap behind the counter so I can confirm its freshly made to order, at least at lunch time. The refrigerated ones get discounted in the evening if youre looking for a better deal.
The people who run the place are extremely nice and polite. The kimbap are huge and made fresh. Will make an effort to stop by when I m around the area and craving for some kimbap and fish cake soup!
I ordered and received the packaged food, but the lumped rice was hard... The other ingredients were delicious.
What a magical gem in the heart of Toronto! Delicious and fresh kimbap! A must visit! Our latest visit was even better and I wish there was a branch at Union Station and The Well.
So delicious I ordered dynamite kimbap, its very good And their staff is so nice, I like them i wanna visit here again because of their service and kimbap quality Im glad to have kimbap in downtown! I definitely recommend you this restaurant!
Kimchi kimbap was delicious and the perfect lunch. Made up fresh and quick. Will be back.
A great place to enjoy korean food. My most favourite Food
I got a spicy kimbap for $8.99 + tax and it got me so full in one sitting during lunch LOL. 10/10 would come back again!!
I ordered classic gimbap & yubu(fried fish) gimbap! The yubu tasted like the ones you will eat at a sushi place! I love the yellow fermented radish and the strong smell of sesame oil when i opened the box! Amazing taste and location -
quick, tasty takeout - great spot for lunch!
Look very fresh, they just made it after receiving order, but something tastes too cold and hard. I dont know what s wrong with it. Not really recommended, sorry :,( No clue where those positives reviews come from
Such a great kimbap! Me and my husband really enjoyed it! Finally some genuine kimbap that I can eat in downtown without going to North York! I Will definitely try with some soup next time too.
Got the tuna roll, it was quite nice! There is a small table you can dine in. The staff was friendly! Food : 4/5
Their tuna & spicy pork kimbap is really good and uses fresh ingredients.
Found this place on Google and was attracted by the name (which means circle in Korean). I tried the yubu (tofu) kimbap and it was so good. This place is legit (and I m Korean). The prices are high compared to the kimbap you can get at Korean supermarkets but this place makes it to order and the portions are big! Like I couldn t fit one piece in my mouth. Small space so mostly for take-out but there are a couple of stools. If you like classic old school 90s Korean ballads, you just want to stay longer and order another kimbap to listen to the complete playlist. Will definitely be back!
Ordered through uber eats! Came fresh at a fair price. Will be ordering again. Picture is of the original.
Kimbap that actually tastes like a homemade one.
Kimbap was neatly wrapped, contained fresh ingredients, and tasted great. I Ordered the spicy pork kimbap, and Jaeyuk inside the roll tasted good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will be returning and trying more of their menu. Depending where you are in the city, it can be hard to find good kimbap. If you have eaten kimbap regularly form a place like , youll notice that the rolls dont have that special (rolls feel a bit loose for example), but it is better than anything around, by far. The portions are a good size. I also got the fishcake soup, and it was very forgettable. If youre really hungry, get two rolls instead!
I went to a kimbap restaurant under the condo, and it was very tasty and good, with a variety of types and just the right amount of rice. Spicy Pork Gimbap is so delicious. I have to go down and buy it every time Im hungry. The staff is very friendly and Im glad they have Korean drinks.
president, The food is delicious, as if you really have the taste. However, I think minor adjustments will be needed in operation. Im telling you this in the hope that everything goes well for you. If you adjust the price by slightly reducing the amount of main ingredients and increasing the amount of rice, business will be better. (There is someone selling kimbap in a nearby underground food court, but the price is more competitive.) It would be a good idea to add a signature menu or a side menu (fried fish cake, etc.). The menu is not appealing. How about reducing the types of kimbap and researching the side dishes? It is unclear whether the concept is premium wheat or affordable wheat. It looks like you havent decided on your main target audience yet.
The kimbap is filling and delicious! I think Ill visit here often when I want to eat proper kimbap.
Spicy pork is amazing! The perfect spice level and all of the ingredients are so fresh.
My family ordered tuna, spicy pork, cheese and donkatsu kimbap. One roll of kimbap is bigger than other kimbap places. Spicy pork seems like their signature because it has specialty and cheese sauce that comes with cheese kimbap adds more flavour which I enjoyed. Tuna kimbap was on point. Tonkatsu kimbap tastes a bit bland even with the dipping sauce but people have different taste. I am so glad to have found this place in downtown area :)
Finally, you can eat delicious kimbap without having to go to North York!! Gimbap here is great and quite authentic Korean style. I highly recommend this place, especially for lunch!
Was craving some kimbap and stopped by today to try it. They re kimbap is super big and really yummy. I did not expect it to be so flavourful compared to other kimbaps I ve eaten in the past. The workers were super kind and the store is comfortable for a quick place to sit at. Will definitely come back for future work lunches!

The kimbap is fresh and delicious ~~ May you prosper!!
3.5 stars if I could. Ordered one Spam & one Sausage kimbap. Strangely, the rice in the sausage one is fresh & soft. But the rice in the spam one was cold & hard. The latter was not good due to that. They could both use more sesame oil. Lacking the fragrant & savoury taste.
Stopped by for their soft opening and got a classic kimbap and kimchi on the side - so good!!! Will certainly be a work lunch staple.
