Terrible service, food is not exceptional but has been convenient. Placed an order earlier today and was told they can t modify the order to add green onion to the roll. There was no rationale, I could ve paid extra for it as well. The woman told me chef doesn t want to do that . Ridiculous service and behaviour from the staff and chef. Get over yourselves! In response to the owner s comments below: You are terrible and your business will surely fail. Get over yourselves! The reason you exist is because you offer a service. When your service doesn t accommodate customers, then you need to reconsider the business you re in. Nasty people.

The amount of food is too little for that price. Other place I cannot finish by myself, but here, its too little for me. The flavor is decent and too little topping and sauce that rice is become the leftover. There is japanese candies for guests and thats cool.

BEST SUSHI and SERVICE in the WORLD. Pearl and Joseph are the two most kindest, caring and amazing people I have ever met. I will never ever eat sushi from anywhere else because nowhere else compares to the quality and that good way it leaves you feeling (like heaven/ Shangri-La) Everything tastes so fresh and so Deeeelicious I love all the maki rolls especially the tofu roll mmmmmm tofu. My kids love the dynamite and California rolls. And please don t forget the spicy mayo and for dessert the Japanese vanilla or strawberry cream cake are TOO DIE FOR. They are unprofessional! I have been ordering from them for almost two months now. However, in my last order, the sushi wasn t rolled well. All the pieces were literally breaking apart when picked up. We couldn t even dip them in the sauce. So we got in touch with UberEats and sent them pictures of the order. Uber verified the issue, and gave us a refund. This happened last week. The night before yesterday, we placed an order on UE for our regulars. The store canceled my order. When I called them asking why (since it was pretty early in the night and they d close at least two hours later), they said I complained that s why they wouldn t be serving us anymore. Like what the heck. I highlighted a genuine issue with their order, and that too to my vendor, not them, but they ended up rejecting our order for this. This is highly unprofessional. If you don t want complains, prepare your food right! Had I not complained, I would have been the one at a loss for your carelessness. Bad experience!

Poke Sushi is my favourite neighbourhood sushi restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is fast, and the staff are so generous and kind. Highly recommend for an easy lunch or dinner.

Poke Sushi is a hidden gem! Their sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. A must-visit for sushi lovers!

Came here around dinner for takeout. The cashier/chef was very polite, and welcoming. There s no actual seating so there s only take out options. We Ordered a -Aloha bowl *poke bowl* (7/10) Portion is plentiful including protein, really liked the seaweed salad, just the crab was shredded instead of sliced, and spicy mayo was more on the spicy side compared to mayo. -Sushi B (7.5/10) came with 5 piece nigiri; one piece was slightly fishy which was white tuna. Upgraded my salmon roll to a spicy salmon roll for $1. Also was pleased to see they added a uni/tobiko roll to my order. Miso was good, just missing tofu. Overall if your in the area and looking for a quick sushi bite. This would be a spot.

I discovered this place during the pandemic. Their menu has great options and variety (my favourite is the salmon lovers roll), the food is always fresh and they are super generous in portion size and toppings, and dont just stuff the rolls with rice. What makes this my favourite place though I must say is the service - they go above and beyond to be friendly, warm, inviting and have a great sense of humour :)

Never leave reviews but damn this was the best poke bowl Ive had in toronto. Get the Cali bowl. Big portions, super good and fresh, very fast too. And the workers are so sweet and kind.

The sushi is ok, like other restaurants Poke Sushi has its on and off days. However, the gentleman who makes the sushi is extremely rude, and disrespectful. He does not have people skills. He yelled at me because apparently I was looking at the wrong menu, although they have several different menus and prices. The lady who usually take the payment is very defensive.

Just ordered this sushi and immediately needed to write a review. So I ordered from here on Uber Eats after midnight so I wasnt expecting much. Ive noticed that other sushi places, including my usual/go to places, have gone far down on terms of quality (understandably so with the pandemic). Because of that, I stopped ordering sushi but today I was really craving so decided to order from a new place. THE SUSHI IS SO FRESH. I was in shock at how fresh it was. I havent tasted sushi so fresh since before the pandemic. I would have included pictures but it was too good to not dive in immediately. We got the salmon sushi combo (6 pieces of salmon sushi), another sushi combo (9 pieces of sushi and a salmon roll) and a shrimp tempura roll. All of which was VERY reasonably priced and very fresh. I definitely have a new go-to. Thank you Poke Sushi for not diminishing your quality! As long as you continue that, you definitely have my business.

I come here because of the portions! I love how they stuff your bowls. Some of the staff don t stuff it but it depends. I love it when they do! It s soooo good. I always get salmon and add toppings i choose. The purple rice is delicious. Please bring back the taro chips! potato chips don t taste good with fish.

Love this place! I order from Pearl (the owner) any time I m craving sushi and it s consistently delicious and satisfying. The bowls are somehow even better. Plus, Pearl is a gem of a human. I m so glad they re in the neighbourhood.

What an awesome place. The poke bowls are fantastic, but so is their sushi and sashimi. Always tastes fresh, with some of the best ingredients in the neighborhood. They have an extensive menu, but also have ready to go boxes on hand if youre in a rush. Owners are lovely people as well. Highly recommend.

Been ordering take out from this place very often. Absolutely adore this place and they take in consideration of allergy concerns. There poke bowls are average, but in my opinion they have outstanding sushi rolls. Edit- quality has decline as of recently (found a small fruit fly in my food in my recent order), prices has spiked as well

We had the House bowl and Cali bowl last night..first time trying Poke Sushi.....service and the ingredients were very fresh...a MUST....for this food...sure will be back there again...very happy to have them in our neighborhood.!

I ordered the California poke bowl and it was okay. It really all came down to personal preference. I felt like the fish wasn t marinated enough and all I really tasted was the bitter leafy veggies. The fish was also really warm but that might be because I ordered from door dash. If you re ordering a poke bowl here and expecting it to taste like poke guys (like me), just go to poke guys.

Weve lived in this area for more than 5 years and this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. As we usually eat vegetarian, we have found they have an excellent vegetarian option and we order often. The food is always prepared extremely fresh, nothing is pre-made, and it is overall a great experience. Their Special Tray 3 is GREAT!!

I ve ordered from here through Uber 3 times now. I m so impressed with this place. Very fresh sushi every time. The only con I have is I didn t love their veg tempura, but that is not a dealbreaker for me at all. The sushi itself is awesome and definitely worth the money. This is now my go-to sushi restaurant when I m craving. I love the spicy crab and Scarlett dragon rolls!!

The best poke bowl! We were driving by the area, noticed this little shop and pulled over and we went into order. We got sushi and two poke bowls. And the food was fresh, very tasty and pleasing to the eyes. Fresh ingredients make the dish! The food was prepared within 15 minutes. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Fresh, fast and delicious!

Ordered through Uber eats. I got the house poke and spicy Salmon. I loved the fried onion, I was expecting the packaged dry fried onion you usually get for take out, but it was in-house made crispy onion that was so delicious. I feel like a lot of thought and fresh ingredients went into making sure the bowl has the right balance of texture and taste and quantity of each ingredient. Best poke Ive had outside of Hawaii. I also got the salmon Maki and California roll. What caught my eye about this place on Uber eats was the salmon Maki called out the seaweed was on the outside.. and I always have to specify this when I order anywhere else ... Its just how salmon Maki should be! The rolls had minimal rice, was the right size, and was very good. The only disappointment was missing wasabi on the side. For packaging, I appreciate when businesses use paper bowls over plastic, I hope they start using paper containers and eventually stop using styrofoam for all their take out. Hope to visit in person over the summer!

Drove out of the way to try it and was hugely disappointed. Bowl consists mainly of lettuce and rice covered by a salty sauce. Feels like cheap value for the price ($15).

Went to this place on a whim! I ordered the veggie bowl and it was a 10/10. Im normally not a fan of fruit on savoury dishes, but the clementine pieces on this were a great addition. The staff there are also very nice, and the wait for the food is not very long. Highly recommend!

I just had the Cali Poke bowl, and it was absolutely amazing. Everything is super fresh and flavourful + the portion was large. The fish quality was wonderful; very smooth and buttery! If youre looking for a good Poke bowl, this place is a MUST try! I know Ill be coming back :)

disgusting mold all over the food. and many hairs in it update; the owner responded to my review by saying they never prepared my food because I had a sesame allergy. That is a bold faced LIE lol. I never said I had an allergy! The edamame had mold ALL OVER IT. Thick mold. And blonde/black hairs mixed in. I almost threw up. Seriously, do not eat here. It s a health hazard. They should be shut down.

Poken Sushi is a charming poke bowl spot in the Parkdale community. The interior is very clean (especially the washrooms!) And the store layout is very spacious. They have a mix of wooden and traditional tables. As far as the bowl goes, I was very impressed with the final product especially after considering how fast I was served! The salmon was fresh and very tasty and the sauce was did not overwhelm the flavor of the other ingredients. I would definitely recommend visiting this spot for your poke fix if youre in the area! Make sure to check out their desserts on the way out!

Ordered Spicy dynamite plus spicy California 18 pieces set for takeout and picked it up within 20 mins as promised. This was my first time here but can say would not be my last. The rolls were absolutely fresh and tasty. Came with really tasty ginger slices and wasabi and miso soup, all for 14 bucks. Such value for money. And the staff is very courteous and happy. In current times, I will suggest everyone to try this gem and support them so they can keep serving their delicacies for times to come. Thank you Poke Sushi.

I had the Mauna Loa poke bowl and it was delicious! They were able to adjust the spice level to my tolerance. The owner is really sweet and super friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The avocado plants they re growing are a cute little touch to the decor!

Very good! Great portion size enough for two people if youre a light eater, lovely blend of sauces, and the salmon tasted so nice and fresh in their poke bowls.

I came here cuz of the 5 stars and had to leave my own! Delicious, generous cuts of fish. I got a noodle bowl with kale noodles and fatty, buttery tuna sashimi. I enjoyed watching the friendly staff whip up orders in the cute and clean establishment. Thank you!

Skip the Ramen, stick with the rice poke. -1 for bitter vegetables -1 for the hostile attitude and slow service. -1 for it just doesn t taste like poke (marinate and sauce lacking) +1 for cheaper than most price

Weve been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and finally had the chance this evening, it was certainly worth the wait. Dynamite/California combo was fresh and filling, the Manua Loa poke bowl had so much good stuff going for it, all working together in perfect harmony. Even the miso soup was something special. Loved the friendly service and reasonable prices, we will be back.

Super happy to find this legit sushi spot. It is really hard to find delicious and fresh sushi in Toronto..but I dont have to look anymore. Large fresh flavourful portions and reasonably priced. Small orange was also included . My now go-to when in Parkdale.
