Taqueria Vegana in Toronto

So good I went back with my partner the next day. Ordered every taco and ended up ordering seconds even though i was so full, incredible flavors.

I would like to rate it 10 star but there only 5 on here. The team is really nice and the food is even better You cant tell there is no meat in there ! Vegetarian options: All vegan and you clouds feed it to a meat eater and they would not know Dietary restrictions: All Vegan

Best vegan tacos even for not vegan people, I would like that the name doesn t have the vegan word in the name because some people just don t want to try vegan food and this is definitely delicious for everyone!!

Very well served and excellent flavor

Everything tastes amazing, you can tell they put a lot of effort and care into their food. Salsas are fresh and flavourful, proteins are well-seasoned and filling, and the tortillas hold all the flavours perfectly. The owner was nice to explain the proteins to us, which I think is smart to win over non-vegans. Decor is nice and simple too, love the colours. Food came quickly too. We will be coming back here often.

This place is the absolute BEST! The tacos (all of them) are to die for (the seitan holds my top spot though), the nachos are heaven, the capeaditos are the crispyyyy app you didn t know you needed. I ll keep coming back here over and over again.

Been here a few times now, and am super impressed by the quality and choice of the ingredients, the way they serve and treat me when I come in each time, and the fact that I haven t tried a single thing I don t like. Definitely worth checking out! If I want tacos or Mexican this is my spot!

This place has amazing flavors and service. It has become my favorite taqueria in town, I still cannot decide between chorizo or asada so I always go with the mixed trio. The salsa verde has a very special taste that reminds me of my home. Burrito Sr is always super fulfilling and guacamole is the best to share an order or capeaditos

I wanted a to treat my self to some food after a workout. I googled vegan restaurants and this was my first option. I read 2 reviews and I was sold! As I got into the store Yuto greeted me and made me feel very comfortable. He assisted me with my order which did not take long to prepare. I don t live in Toronto so it s very rare to find a vegan restaurant! I was not disappointed! I took a bite and ran back inside to let him know it tasted great! They also carry a large bag of dairy free cheese! Can t beat that deal! Dietary restrictions: It was refreshing that they were completely plant based!

I ordered the capeaditos, they were so crispy and light. The sauce it came with was so creamy. The carne asada burrito, made with soy meat had such a nice texture. I like how there is a parking lot there, however drive carefully if you use it-it had some larger potholes.

A friend of mine has been raving about this place for months. Finally went there for the first time this week and realized I ve truly been missing out. Honestly, this place is SOOOO good. And not just good for vegan , but top notch in general. I m not a veghead but I would literally choose this over Gus Tacos across the road in a heartbeat. Owners are delightful and you can taste the love in every dish.

Had a great night seeing old friends while eating amazing tacos and quesobirrias. We sat outside at their picnic tables after ordering inside to which they brought the food out to us. There was a nice selection of drinks inside to choose from as well. The tacos and quesobirrias were incredible. I demolished mine in record time. They came with fresh limes and both a red and green sauce that were both fantastic. I got a second order to-go on our way out. The options ranged from chorizo, carne asada, carnitas, and a mushroom based one. I highly recommend it! Vegetarian options: 100% plant based deliciousness

I went there today for the first time, and the food was amazing. Great vegan options, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Ill definitely be going back again. I recommend checking it out. The food is also really filling, and the portions are good for a fair price.

Excellent experience at Taqueria Vegana. The owners were kind and took time to explain the menu. The food tasted authentic. The Quesadillas were phenomenal, the seitan taco trio was very tender and the sauces that came with it were delicious. We ate on the outdoor patio which had umbrellas for the sun. Interior seating is limited. I would return and recommend.

This is a gem. We had one of each taco and the large portion of fried oyster mushrooms. Great as a light dinner for two people. Will be trying more combinations. Flavourful, satisfying, unusual (in a good way). Friendly!

So, I am a meatatarian, and my wife is Vegan. We always go and try new vegan places. This place is great. I ordered the trio of tacos and the nachos. The nachos were huge and really tasty. The taco trio was also good, but not my favorite. My wife got the quesabirrias, and they were quite good. As a meat lover who eats vegan on occasion and has eaten alot of different vegan menu items i say bravo. We will be back, and it will be an order of nachos for this guy. Parking: Very tight parking lot

Went here for the first time on the weekend and had a few different tacos. Tried the Carne Asada, Impossible Chorizo, and the Capeado. They were all fantastic. We ate on the patio on a pretty warm. Was a great experience all around. Vegetarian options: The restaurant is vegan, so everything on the menu is vegan. I would strongly recommend that anyone would enjoy the food here.

I am Mexican. Ive eaten tacos, vegan and non-vegan, my entire life. These are the best tacos in Toronto. PERIOD. I ordered the 1-of-each trio on the website to be delivered to my house. They take an hour to get delivered, so order ahead of time. (Thats why I put 3/5 for service) Its worth it! Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan! Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Excellent food! Had the Taco Trio and it was so flavorful!!! The way the corn tortillas were warm and slightly crispy was amazing! Will be back to try the Quesabirria next visit! This place is AMAZING! Delicious tacos, friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommend! I had been there once, and the staff remembered me :) The tacos are delicious! Especially the impossible chorizo and capeado mmmmmm. They have a cute little area to sit outside with picnic tables where they bring you your food. Ill be back soon for more delicious food!!

My daughter and I love this place. Even if you re a meat eater, you won t miss a thing. Lots of flavour. The Chorizo and Asada tacos are our favourite, especially the lunch special which comes with beans and rice. The green and red sauces are great too.

Everything we tried was delicious, make sure to try the guac & chips. Nice side patio with lots of seating and shade. 10/10

Favourite vegan tacos in the city. Ive been here both to dine at the picnic tables outside, as well as for their catering services. Easily the best tacos Ive had in my life. This is how you do vegan Mexican food. Period. Carefully considered ingredients and combinations. The tacos are loaded with goodness and flavour. An absolute tasty addition to the Toronto food scene and a much needed bar raise on the vegan Mexican cuisine. I look forward to coming back many times and wish them all the success in the world they deserve it. PS: Secretly hoping they get their liquor license, so I can enjoy cold beers & tacos on their patio.

This place is incredible. We have eaten food from here four times in the past two weeks, twice at the restaurant and twice ordered online. I highly recommend it. Absolutely amazing! We had the Capeada, Impossible Chorizo and the Quesabirria, plus chips with homemade guac (chefs kiss!) everything was incredible but the Capeada was phenomenal! So crispy and delicious. And the Quesabirria with broth was super flavourful, absolutely nailed it! Best vegan tacos in the city, must try!!

We had 3 tacos each. Loved the setain one and the mushroom! And the battered mushrooms as a side had us licking out fingers. The tortillas are corn and you know tend to break easily. They double shell it so there is no breaking!! Vegetarian options: Fully vegan!

So good! We got the taco trio and the quesadilla and couldnt even speak while we destroyed our food in awestruck silence. The only downside is there wasnt more to be eaten. Best vegan tacos weve ever had, period. Will definitely go back and its well worth the money. The sauces and salsas are also really tasty and not an afterthought like at a lot of places. The guacamole was so tasty, and salsas were fresh and bursting with flavor. My boyfriend and I wanted to find a place that serves vegan tacos and taqueria vegana exceeded our expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious especially the soy based tacos and seitan tacos, the birria was also amazing. Every side sauce was bursting with flavour! The owner was friendly and he had great recommendations. I suggest this restaurant to anyone as they serve quality tasty food! and I hope that they open their patio soon so that we can go back :)

As a Mexican and vegan, I confirm these are the best vegan tacos in Toronto. Other non-vegan places offer mushroom and cactus options, but taqueria vegana has soy and wheat based tacos. Perfectly marinated, delicious hot sauces, and excellent service. The only thing, I wish they had more different types of tacos. Dietary restrictions: Vegan

I was really shocked by the accuracy of the mock meats and the strong flavours of the food here! Everything I ordered was delicious, good quality, and very satiating. The staff is also so kind and welcoming!

I had to write a nice review about this spot, it is a ghost kitchen for now and the food is top notch, packed with protein and delicious! The owners put a great amount of effort into the food and engage with every customer that walks in to pick up their order. I will be coming back!

This place is definitely the best for vegan mexican in the city. Amazing taste, texture and varied protein options that you cant find anywhere else. Never been able to find vegan birria tacos before and it was life-changing. Begging on my hands and knees for your seitan plug, why is it so good.
