Tapas at Embrujo in Toronto

A wonderful experience from start to finish! The paella was simply delicious, with authentic flavors that transported me directly to Spain. The service was impeccable, the staff attentive and friendly at all times. Additionally, the flamenco show was incredible, full of passion and energy, which made the evening even more special. Definitely, a place that I would recommend to enjoy good food, excellent service and an unforgettable night

Not impressed. Both hostess and server appeared to be new and untrained, not at all familiar with the food or wine on offer. I only wanted a tapa and glass to sit out rush hour, and server seemed disconcerted by that, so doesnt get that tapas arent necessarily apps. Also, one couldnt seem to get just a few pieces of baguette or similar with the gambas al allijo, when dipping the bread in the garlic oil the shrimps are cooked in is one of the best things about the dish. The only thing available was an entire small loaf drenched in more olive oil ...for $6. So bill for one just ok tapa, a glass of inexpensive wine and an average tip was about $35. Wont rush back.

We recently visited Tapas at Embrujo to celebrate my mother s 70th birthday, a full 20 years after celebrating her 50th at the same restaurant. Just like our first visit, the experience was absolutely unforgettable. The team was incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home. The food was simply outstanding every dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. The ambiance was warm and inviting, transporting us straight to Spain. This restaurant has become a cherished part of our family s memories, and we are so grateful for the exceptional service and atmosphere that made this celebration so special. Thank you, Tapas at Embrujo, for another unforgettable evening. We can t wait to return!

Not compelled to write reviews very often but DIOS MIO! The flamenco shows this place puts on are some of the best displays of music, song and dance Ive ever seen. Incredible passion and atmosphere. Not to mention the tapas. So good!

The other day we stopped by Tapas at Embrujo to have a drink and eat some tapas. We ordered some patatas bravas, and a goat cheese with honey that were finger-licking good. We also met María, the owner who is a dancer and she told us that there was flamenco on Fridays and Saturdays, so we are not going to miss that at all. They are all super nice, and it is a perfect place to go out to dinner with friends and have a good time. I recommend it one hundred percent!!

This place is just a hidden gem. They offer some of the most authentic dishes of Spanish cuisine in Toronto. Wonderful vibe as well. The flamenco show, available on Fridays and Saturdays, is another joyful part of the experience. It is an experience by its own. It offers an affordable joy of watching the authentic flamenco of Seville in the heart of Toronto.

We were to one of the best Spanish places in Toronto, site in Danforth District. So good traditional Spanish food and drinks (Mahou and Rioja, we order). The tapas ( ensaladilla andaluza and pollo al ajillo ) with the main dish ( costillas confitadas con salmorejo canario ) all so tasty. Delicious. The flamenco show.........fantastic. Singing, Dancing and playing music (guitar and cajon flamenco) with soul and art. Flamenco Dance from Sevilla in Toronto. We will repeat in the next weeks, for sure.

This is my first and last ! I was so disappointed! I ordered paella chicken but the one came is the seafood only very few shrimps and mussels .I asked the server that is not my order she just answer maybe its mistake? Wow ! Just wow! So disappointing from good reviews expectations vs.reality not a good experience at all !

Great food and service.

My buddy and I wanted to try the paella and boy, this was a treat on its own. Really great ambience, absolutely delightful staff, delectable choice of paella and chocolate shrimps (Yes, my eyes widened and it was really good) and a fantabulous duo who performed a captivating flamenco dance. Worth a visit to absorb all of this at once.

Nobody was there and they still managed to provide average service and average food for the usual Toronto outrageous price.

Birthday, Last day of Summerlicious, obvious choice. Nothing theybserve is less than amazing. Sangria( not some wine/pop cheapie), favourite bacon wrapped dates, melt in your mouth beef tenderloin with delectable whisky sauce, you just want to purr! And our waitress Solina was enchanting! You deserve to go! Right by the subway, streetcar and close to the Danforth Music Hall. Go!! Youre welcome!

Its was great Friday night at Tapas at Embrujo. The atmosphere was great with Flamenco. The food was good, and the service was on point.

Tapas at Embrujo was not the best experience. - Service was very slow - Seating was uncomfortable - Washrooms do not smell clean - Expensive for small portions - Food was just very disappointing, we were a large group and ordered a lot to try. - Everything was either plain bad or too oily. - Both the Paella bomba and Arroz Marisco were bland and very dry. The seafood and chicken were chewy. - Strangely the rice tasted like the pans they came in, burnt. - For $520 we should not still be hungry after leaving a restaurant. I would not recommend this place because the food isn t worth it. Management is also incredibly greedy as they charged us the entertainment fee for two sleeping toddlers. The lack of courtesy and attitude just confirms this business does not care for its customers.

Service was good. Food was not good - the only flavour was over saltiness on everything. The chicken in the paella was questionable (it was like it sat in the fridge for 5+ days). Very small portions for the price, quality, and taste. Do no recommend, save your time and money

Wow, what a place! A little corner of the South of Spain in Toronto. Very good food, intimate layout and great atmosphere with flamenco show on Friday and Saturday. Their Tortilla de patatas and Paella reminded me of my grandma s!

Overall the food was overpriced for the small portions, not food tasting, and too salty. We ordered 5 tapas and the Paella Bomba. The chicken in the Paella Bomba tasted rancid like expired meat. The bacon and service was good. The steak was decent.

Booked a New Year s Eve experience and was not told of a time limit. Tapas restaurants are usually a 2 hour experience. We tried to order another round and were told we had to leave as our table had another reservation and the restaurant was not even full. Very disappointed in this experience overall !

We dined and watched the Flamenco show on New Years Eve. The paella, sangria, and almond-lemon cake were our favorites. We were a party of five, and the food and drinks arrived promptly and tasted very good with authentic Spanish flavor. Our party had all been to Spain and agreed that the food tasted as good or better than some we had tried in Spain. The place is quaint and we had a great time.

A very cozy restaurant. The staff is very nice and fun, they make you feel very comfortable. We ordered a couple of tapas and the Paella Valenciana. All of them were delicious, specially the paella and the dates with bacon. Maria s flamenco show was amazing, she is a very talented musician.

Took me back to Spain! Just got back from a trip to Spain and was really craving some good tapas. The place and food definitely made me feel like I was back in streets of Barcelona! My fiancé and I booked a reservation via their website and arrived on a Thursday night. They offered half priced glasses of Sangria . There was no flamenco show as it only happens on Fridays and Saturdays, but the waitress let me take a peak of the students practicing downstairs below the restaurant. Their menu was slightly different than what they offered on their website - some news items and others removed. We ordered 4 dishes, all of which were delicious! If our bellies had enough space, we would have ordered another! Our favourites ended up being the chorizo and the pulled pork. The meat of the ribs was sooo tender and fell right off the bones. That s not to say the bacon wrapped dates was not just as good! I d probably try a different croquette option next time, but my fiancé loved it! I m surprised the place was not that full. In my opinion, its waaay better than the overpriced spots on King West or Richmond Hill. Staff were nice, fast service (we were in and out within an hour), food was authentic, and prices were reasonable. What s not to love? We ll certainly be coming back for more! Update (Jan 2023): We came back on a Flamenco night (Friday and Saturday). On those days at 6:30PM and onward, there s a mandatory $20 entrance fee, with a $40 min. spend on food. The show doesn t start until 8:15PM-8:30PM. When you book a reservation online, it tells you there s a $5 entertainment fee and a $20 min. food spend which is incorrect. Just a heads up.

Superb restaurant & service. A little pricey , but top, top quality. I had the steak, which was the best I ever had in m life. The shrimp , bread & mushrooms too The brilliant Chef creates miracles.. The food is really good, we got Gambas al Ajillo, boquerones, goat cheese with honey. We had to repeat on the bread, its so good. But the best of all the Solomillo in Whiskey sauce and fries. Thats something else, would love to go back just to order it again. Next time Ill be back on a Friday or Saturday to enjoy the flamenco show.

We found the place walking around and at 5:30 ish we came in, the restaurant was empty but we stayed in the door for a long time to check if they could acomódate us. They said we had to leave by 7 which it was okay but we did not like the service we got and for sure the food was not authentic and quite pricy.

Nice idea but the food was very expensive and really salty... Everything we had was over-salted. Dinner for 2 (1 main and 3 apps, no dessert) with a basic bottle of wine and tip was $211... Yikes! Flamenco performance was great... Very authentic, talented performers. Service was great too... But we were disappointed with the quality and price of the food.

To preface, I d like to think I m reasonable, willing to offer the benefit of the doubt. I try and look for the best in restaurants. That said what a disappointment. The staff was lovely, the ambience was cute, and that s about it We ordered a vegetarian paella. When it arrived at our table, the food was hot enough but it s best when it arrives sizzling. This lets me know that the dish had been waiting in the kitchen for a while. The restaurant wasn t very busy so there shouldn t be any reason as to why the food was getting cold. For 40 or 45 dollars, it was a small portion, kind of dry. Very few vegetables, and rather salty. Also our cocktail was a bit watery. The live flamenco was a fun touch, but I m rather disappointed. This is a selling point for your restaurant and the performers were out of sync, dynamically unbalanced, and lacking intention. I loved the timbre of the singer s voice and some of the dancing was very beautiful. As we approached the end of the performance I got a bit more of a spark, a presence from the her. I have hope that with a bit more practicing that this could be a lovely act, but until then you really shouldn t charge for this I would have let it go, but the owner kept arguing with the reviews on this site. Claiming authenticity and quality I don t have anything to say about authenticity, but the quality instead of listening to and addressing what seems like pretty consistent critique; that there s issues with food quality, food shortages, longer than necessary wait times, he replies with very (passive) aggressive comments. Why didn t you say the food wasn t good? We would have fixed it. A) This suggests you re well aware of the issues customers are consistently having with your restaurant and don t care enough to fix them. B) These reviews ARE telling you now that there are issues with the food. If it takes an HOUR for a paella to be made shoddily and I send it back, then that s a potential two hours of waiting for a supposedly improved meal. C) Why is the customer s fault that you are consistently producing dishes that are below standard? I understand that it s difficult to put aside your pride and accept that there are issues with your restaurant, but the owner s attitude towards customers providing constructive critique left an awful taste in my mouth. If you re going to tell me how great the food is, at least back up your claims with quality.

We went for the dinner and the show. The show was definitely something different and entertaining! I don t have much complaints about the food. There was a group of 4 and we split about 8 dishes, some of which we scoffed before I had the chance to take a photo of. It all tasted great, I didn t leave full however. At minimum $10 per small beer, it s easy to rack up a bill. I would definitely return.

I have been there several times and I am always satisfied. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The show is excellent. The menu is out of the ordinary. Food is delicious. The only thing is that its a bit pricy so I dont go that often, but everything else makes up for it.

Now, Tapas at Embrujo is on my favourite restaurant list! My favourites are Boquerones, Gambas and Solomillo al Whiskey ( I hope I spelled right?!)! I had dined at Tapas at Embrujo 4 or 5 times so far. Well, this time, I tried the SPARE RIBS...Wow!!! It was the best ribs I ever had! You must try their ribs, especially if you are tired of regular spare ribs with ordinary BBQ sauce. There is a fantastic flamenco show on Friday and Saturday (you dont want to miss that!). I have never been to Spain but feel like I have after dining at Tapas at Embrujo! Great food, excellent service and an amazing Flamenco show! I highly recommend Tapas at Embrujo!

We came here on a Sunday night and it was really quiet so lots of seating available. We both ordered the steak and fries and it was really good value for the price. Weve also come for tapas before and the flamenco show and really liked the ambience.

Solomillo Al whiskey (steak on fries), Goat cheese with honey - nice if you like goat cheese, costillas confitadas (pork ribs - this was fall off the bone good!) We went on a weekend so they had a show (added show fee). We went in a large group so they added a service charge of 18%.

One of the best Spanish restaurants I have ever dined at. Great service (very fast), delicious patatas bravas and a wonderful flamenco show, a restaurant worthy of a zillion stars.

Would recommend coming here on a night for the live flamenco, the performance was great and we can feel the stomps through the restaurant, and it definitely elevates the dinner experience. For food, we got the Paella Bomba, of which the rice was well cooked and came with a decent amount of mussles and shrimp, though it was a bit pricey (only from the perspective of an average dinner, looking at paella prices over the city this is still fairly reasonable) On top of that, you should also get the figs with honey and blue cheese, which is a great blend of sweet, salty, and creamy

The food is always delicious, and the service is very attentive. On Fridays and Saturdays, there are great flamenco shows with talented musicians and dancers. Whether its for a special occasion to celebrate something or simply to enjoy good food, this place is truly exceptional.

The food is fresh and delicious and the service is wonderful. Yota was attentive, warm and friendly. I come here often for a few tapas with friends and we love it Vegetarian options: There are lots of veggie options here. I particularly love the papas bravas.

Authentic and Delicious

I recently ordered from Tapas at Embrujo for my anniversary dinner. I had wanted to support a local restaurant especially during these restrictions (once again). However, I concur with other reviews where items on the menu were not available. Papas Bravas is the most staple tapas dish and not available that evening and on pick up was told that there were no mussels for the paella bomba but a substitute was made. That didn t bode well at the beginning of the meal. Also on pick up the doors were locked and in this weather it s not great to wait outside when you knew what time we would be arriving. Everything looked good but the salt on the dishes were way to much on the paella and the beef. Cut down on the salt! It would taste much better. Unfortunately was a very disappointing meal. *Edit - I just checked my receipt and there was NO discount but thanks for your comment. Lying is frowned upon and your tone in your response is unwarranted on a fair review and by the way it was not three seconds wait. *Edit 2 - On your website the paella is not $59 it s $55 if that is the case you increased your prices then maybe update that plus the other two dishes ordered the total came to $77.97. There is no discount and please find the receipt posted. It is a shame you want to pick on customers. I debated whether to post my original review to protect a local business but this behaviour is isolent. Also edited the stat rating to one after this conversation. I understand you are defending your business but you need to learn to take feedback to improve. * Edit 3 - It s quite convenient you can t see my uploaded receipt. I cook at home so don t worry about that - what part of it was a special occasion did you not understand? I support many lovely small business and restaurants on the Danforth and thought to do the same for you but clearly you don t seem to like customers especially if this is how you talk to them. It shows your true customers and exemplifies your rudeness. Also quite convenient you never acknowledged how salty your food is. My changing of your rating is highly justified after this exchange which your other customers are welcome to read.

It is a small cozy environment. Really great food and presentation. I did not go to the live entertainment but got a glimpse of it as they practiced. Will totally have to check that out. The goat cheese with honey and the ribs are a must try

Tasty treats

A taste of Spanish food and culture. Really nice

Really slow service and most of the dishes I would rank as mediocre to really bad. We had to send back the octopus because it smelled very old and was really chewy/slimy (and I love octopus). We arrived at 645 and left by 8 yet were charged $5 per head for a show that didn t even start while we were there. There was several empty tables so I have no idea why we were charged but we paid anyway. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately, the most food we received seemed to be from the Loblaws around the corner and both of us felt very sick (my partner even throwing up) after wed eaten there. We had some artichoke hearts, a cheese board and the octopus. We suspect it might have been the octopus which seemed to be the only thing made in house I didnt realize there was live entertainment there, which is my fault, I guess I should have checked. Unfortunately, the music was far too loud for the small space, and when we tried to gracefully exit we were told that they did not bill out during the show. I didnt mind paying for the music, but it felt very odd that they would trap patrons there. I felt like a prisoner at the table The food over all was very pricy for the portions and for clearly not being made in house. Two stars because our waitress was very nice.

Stopped in because my date had a craving for paella. Being Spanish I decided it would be wise to have her do the ordering and I did not regret it. We started with oxtail croquettes, warm goat cheese with honey and herbs, and an octopus dish called pulpo, served with paprika infused potatoes, each of which were excellent. We followed with a shared main called paella bomba (I think) with chicken, mussels, chorizo and shrimp. We also shared a bottle of Spanish wine, Gran Fuedo, which our server suggested. At $59 it was very good quality and good value. We shared an almond and lemon cake for dessert. Quality food, smooth service, and a lovely evening all around. We also discovered that they have a flamenco show on Fri/Sat, so we will definitely have to check that out! Just wanted to add that I did go back for a second date last Friday, mostly to see the Flamenco show, and it is the best five bucks I have ever spent. Yes, the food was excellent, yes, the service was great, but the performance transcends all of it. This place is the real deal.

Do yourself a favour and go on a night when they have a show. The talent of the dancer and her guitarist is amazing. There is a $5 fee per person and the minimum food order is $18 per on those nights. Come with a bit of patience as they only had three staff members to do the bartending, hosting, ordering, serving, and clearing. Many people book to come for the show so there s a rush around the 7-8:00 time slot. Order the cheese board with the bacon wrapped dates and baguette. Those three a magic together!

After visiting this restaurant couple of months ago, decided to celebrate my daughters birthday here. Being a very good cook herself, my daughter was thrilled with a food, amazing show and the whole atmosphere of this restaurant, as the rest of us!

We ordered a pile of appetizers. All delicious and we even took some home. Good service too, and a 5 munite walk from home.

We loved every minute of it! Starting from the amazing tapas,, delicious mango mojitos and lovely ambience, We could have not chosen a better place. We were welcomed by Yota, who made us feel right at home with her friendly personality and amazing customer service. Thank you for making it an incredible experience!! We will be back very soon for their paellas.

Loved the food, service and the show

Delicious food and even more delicious Sangaria! Strolled into this venue on a Saturday evening and had really great food as well as being treated to the Saturday evening entertainment (Flamenco Dancing!). Lost one mark because the food procession was a bit crazy... Totally understand the style of Tapas means that each small plate comes out when it is ready, however we usually had 1 random plate on its own and had to wait a very long time for the bread and patatas plates. Basically we had to have our chorizo and meats first and it was 40mins for the appetizers style plates. Service was very slow so not the best option if you are very hungry!

It was a really nice finding! The food was amazing and the service as well. The only sad part was some missing items on the menu.

My husband and I had a great experience here. The tapas were perfection, especially the lobster croquetas and the anchovies on warm bread!!! Yum. Our server, Yota, was fantastic, personable and made great food recommendations

My son and I dropped in this evening before seeing a show at the Danforth music hall. Beyond impressed with the attentive service and the fantastic food. Lobster croquettes, shrimp, amazingly fresh bread and wonderful paella! Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!

Nice Spanish food and live music!

I went here last night for Summerlicious with friends. We made a reservation for 5 people and 2 people in our party were unable to make it. We were running late and called the restaurant to let them know and advise of the change. When informed, the male who answered said wow and said goodbye but no further follow up. At the end of the night the server advised us that we would be charged $23 for each person who did not show up. The restaurant was busy but not full and no one walked in without a reservation while we were sitting there. We arrived at 8:45 pm. The server advised this was the decision of the owner who would not come out and speak to us about the matter. The food was good, but the service very slow. They also charged a $5 entertainment fee. I was very disappointed with the experience.

We had a fabulous time here. Our dinner was complemented with a live flamenco show.

Everything was delicious. Loved the honey and cheese tapas, the bacon wrapped dates, and the spicy papas. The chorizo paella was amazing. The cocktails were good too. Really enjoyed the white wine sangria.

Spectacular show!

Cleanliness: 2 Service: 3, understaffed and the servers forgot about the entire section. Customers had to go look for the staff for assistance multiple times. Food: 0... Poor presentation, way too much salt, ordered the steak, no one asked how I wanted it, arrived it was super tough. Found a piece of hair in my desert. I hate wasting food but between my health or wasting,. I had to left 80% of it untouched.

The food was amazing , atmosphere and service was top notch. My only complaint was I wish I had more time to try all the dishes!

Fantastic destination for a group to enjoy food and drinks

I went in a very non-busy time, and wanted to sit inside but told us that it was booked. After which we didn t get to sit at our preferred table in the patio either, while the restaurant was empty. The food was mediocre in flavour and plating. Nothing accompanied the mushrooms I had ordered, they were also very bland tasting. The only good thing about the place was the server who took our food review with great poise. But I wouldn t go there again.

Visited this spot yesterday on Danforth and was pleased with the service (thank you Cara), but a tad underwhelmed with the food. -The steak with whiskey sauce tasted good, was priced well, and fries were crispy but presentation was basic and lacked an aspect of freshness on the plate. If you like simplicity however, this may be an upside. -Mushrooms were a tad oily, but well seasoned and cooked. For the management: Make sure to keep the bathrooms lit please! And it doesn t make a lot of sense to say the place is booked and you don t have space inside, when there isn t a single customer in the restaurant. Coming from someone that s worked in upscale restaurants for 5 years, it s worth being more flexible to give the customer a lasting experience.

First time trying Tapas! So super yummy! Staff was so helpful and enthusiastic with their food. Highly recommend!

I don t know how I haven t been to this restaurant before. The tapas at Embrujo are outstanding. I m a Spaniard foodie myself and I love cooking so I can assure you that if you want authentic Spanish tapas and ambience, this is the place to go. The stuff and the food is just awesome. The flamenco show that Maria Serrano runs on Fridays and Saturdays is fantastic, you will feel transported to what is to me the heart of flamenco, Andalusia.

Best Authentic Tapas! Their bacon, honey and almond tapas is outstanding. Each dish is packed with flavour. Along with the flamingo performance you get hypnotized by such a powerful performance. I have been coming here for 7 years and it never disappoints.

The Sangria was amazing and came with blueberries. The tapas were fresh and delicious, highly recommend the olives and blue cheese and spinach croquettes.

Very unwelcoming. The staff will talk behind your back when god forbid its hot outside and you have the nerve to order water their aim? Liquor sales. Thats what they care about. Money. At least thats what I was told by the server is what the head chef said. He doesnt like when staff offers water when he could get people buying sangria thats where the money is go. Experience. And then, think twice.

We were at the restaurant on Friday evening, the tapas were good but the Paella was not good. Too oily, no seasoning, the rice was sticky and burnt, peas and peppers were missing, not a real Valencia Paella. We were very disappointed.

One of the best places in the city, a true hidden gem! Food is priced fairly, portions are well sized for tapas and the weekend entertainment is so much fun!

Made a reservation for 830pm by phone because their online reservation didn t work. Showed up at 830 on time they had no table reserved for us. Terrible. Poorly managed restaurant.

Good food. Good service. For two people we spent about $200 plus the show. Good experience for live entertainment plus dinner on Saturday night.

Had a lovely time last night, second time at this restaurant. The service was wonderful like the first time, food was so delicious and fresh we ordered many tapas and they are all tasty, and such a lovely and cozy ambiance with a flamenco show. Highly recommend it.

I came across this restaurant about a month ago. I m from Spain, so I wanted to find a Spanish restaurant with authentic traditional Spanish food so badly. You really feel the Spanish touch of the chef there. I m extremely happy I finally found it, I ve been there three times and everything I ve tried is delicious. High quality ingredients and unbeatable prices. Great customer service done by a friendly staff. Last but not least, they have an amazing flamenco show for just an extra charge of $5!! I m looking forward to trying paella!! :)

We came to Tapas at Embrujo on a weekday with a reservation and it was very quiet, perhaps, a slow night (no live music). Anyway, the ambiance was still welcoming and the service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were several items on the menu that we wanted to try but they weren t available. Still, we ordered an assortment of tapas, drinks, a paella and a dessert. Overall, the food was good but, not all dishes were as memorable as we expected. However, we think that it is still worth to try (again). We had the following dishes: PAN DE ALCALA, PIMIENTOS DEL PIQUILLO Y QUESO DE CABRA, GAMBAS AL AJILLO, DÁTILES CON BEICON Y ALMENDRAS, CHAMPIÑONES AL AJILLO, TAPAS SOLOMILLO AL WHISKEY, POLLO AL AJILLO, CHORIZO AL VINO, PAELLA NEGRA, FLAN.

It is a cozy small restaurant, friendly staff and live flamingo dance twice a week and food is ok! I will recommend it to try spanish food .

One of the best tapas places weve been too in Toronto. The food was tasty and had great portions and presentation but 2/3 of the cocktails were watered down..

This is a favourite spot for great tapas. Whether through takeout or a night dining in (like we did this week), it s always a treat. The live flamenco (pre-pandemic) added a fun element to the evening. Looking forward to being able to take that in again soon!

Very cozy, Lovely ambience, High quality food, Superb friendly service. we tried the drizzled baked bread (A must), Pan fried shrimp (great, specially when you use the sauce as a dipping), Sautéed mushrooms (best I have ever had), and Paella de Mariscos (so tasty) The show was exceptional, breathtaking, we enjoyed it. Will definitely come back!

Tapas at Embrujo is amazing and such a good vibe! We went here on a Friday night and they had a wonderfully beautiful live show. Such a fantastic place to go on a date or with a group of friends. Food was delicious, and drinks with fantastic! We ordered the bacon wrapped dates, baked goat cheese, chorizo, and spicy potatoes. Chefs kiss, amazing! Will definitely return!

Flamenco dancing is full of passion and rhythm, a must see. The food is good, but not excellent, Sangria is full of ice and not the mix that makes the drink.

The paella could be better.

Amazing experience. I lived in Granada in the south of Spain for three years and can say that the show and the food are top notch. Perfect for a romantic night out or a get together with friends. Flamenco is on Friday and Saturday nights only. Its a short (and intense!) performance that lasts around 30 - 40 min. Our table went quiet to watch the show. It was magical.

Overall had a fun experience at this restaurant. The service was great and food left the kitchen quickly enough. They had an issue with their debit machine and were good about handling it and warning right as you arrived. One downside is that there were quite a few menu items unavailable on request. We ordered 6-7 tapas items, some great, some just okay, and 2 paellas. We quite enjoyed the paellas, ordered the Valenciana one and the squid ink one, but meat in the former was a little hard. Not sure if I would return, but if I do I think it would be on a flamenco night.

The service was great and the food was good. Went for winterlicious. Had the chicken for apps, could have been a bit more. I got the black Angus which was really good. My boyfriend got the short ribs; those were a bit on the salty side. Enjoyed the experience.

Delicious food.great combination of sweet savory in one great dish. Great and friendly service and the shows was just magnificent. So much passion on their music and dance. The only improvement would be the ambient music at dinner. The was no music in the background so you get to hear everybody talking and lauging.. some.guitars background would have been a good idea

I went for Valentines day and there was a prix fixe menu. Took my fiance here and food was decent but service was extremely slow. It took 50 mins to hour just to get our appetizer and then another 30 mins for our main course. Our server didnt bother to update us on our meals. Wont be coming back again

I d love to call it overpriced but I m not sure that food is acceptable at any price. I ordered off the tapas menu, had a problem with everything I ordered. Worst dish was a toss-up between a beef dish that was 100% not the cut on the menu and tough/flavourless and the over-dried cured meat served with ace bakery baguette that was definitely entirely sourced from the loblaws around the corner. There s so much good food available on the same block, just go literally anywhere else.

Went here on a Friday during the winterlicious. The fixed menu was delicious and we got a performance from a flamenco dancer with a guitarist during are meal. Try to time your dinner during a performance by giving them a call.

TL;DR - dont buy the travelzoo voucher, dont stop in as youre walking past, dont try it on a whim - avoid, avoid, AVOID! I had dinner here with a friend on Saturday night, using a Travelzoo voucher which offered 5 tapas, 2 desserts and a litre of sangria for $89. Pros: - the server spent considerable time helping us choose tapas - the 2 steak and fries tapas (one with mustard sauce and the other with whiskey sauce) were enjoyable - the sausage and cornichon tapas was a good match and tasty - brussel sprouts tapas was tasty when it finally arrived 45 minutes after wed eaten all the others - the server asked us a number of times if we were enjoying the food but I find it hard to tell the truth in restaurants because I always worry that they will tamper with a replacement dish Cons: - service was ridiculously slow, partly because of a lack of understanding on the servers part as to how the travelzoo deal is handled by this restaurants system (both sending orders to the kitchen as well as producing the bill at the end of the meal) and partly because he ignored us for 45 minutes. Unbelievable. As a result, a meal that should have been 2 hours long MAXIMUM was 4 hours. - shrimp tapas was made using already cooked shrimp (the kind you get in a shrimp ring from the supermarket) and therefore was woefully overcooked - the bread was an aggressively bland supermarket baguette (likely from Loblaws the next block over) that they sat in a pond of flavourless oil - flan was quite bland - almond and lemon cake was unevenly baked: soggy bottom and dry and stale everywhere else. The berry coulis that they decorated the plate with had actually almost completely DRIED so it was difficult to add it to the cake. - for my travelzoo peeps: the sangria is not alcoholic so keep that in mind when youre deciding on the value of the voucher - at no point was our water refilled so during the loooong process of the difficult task of you know, GETTING THE BILL, we were hoarse from talking for 4 bloody hours with nothing left to sip on - sitting next to the front window became unbearably cold over the course of our 4 hour meal - washroom was freezing cold and there was water on the floor of the stalls - I hated the flamenco show. This might be my taste but I strongly disliked the music and dance. However, it was so bloody loud that it was impossible to ignore it and have a conversation instead. I will say that I left the restaurant with a huge smile on my face. For non-travelzoo readers, what you need to realize is that travelzoo asks us (in pretty strong language) to be classy patrons and tip on the basis of the FULL value of the meal. However, not everyone can be trusted and sometimes the venue will make the tipping mandatory to avoid being shortchanged. These idiots used the PROMOTIONAL value ($89) as the basis for the 18% tip (completely undeserved) and so have been getting essentially less than 10% tip for this deal since it began. It shows you the kind of brilliant minds behind the operation. I will never return.

Ordered take out for the first time and it we couldnt have enjoyed it more ! The paella bomba brought back so many memories of our vacations to Spain..

We had take away this week and the bomba paella really hit the spot - such tasty comfort food loaded with so much seafood. The ribs were tender and flavourful served with a spicy tomato sauce- a must try! Ive heard great things about the new burger they have on the menu and would love to have that next time.

Recently enjoyed some take-out. This is a beautiful Spanish restaurant that really provides value for its meat & seafood. I much prefer the spot for dine in, but some of their paella would be perfect for a picnic right now too. Tried their paella for one, which can easily serve 2-3. Ive had the pleasure to dine in twice before. While flamenco dancing certainly isnt for every one, I truly believe that its one of th emore unique and authentic cultural experiences available in Toronto. So youll definitely want to stop in for some live entertainment once they re-open!

We ordered delivery through doordash and it came perfectly packed and super fast...We had Paella Negra, Paella Bomba, Bacon wrapped Dates (INSANELY GOOD!) and Tortilla de Patatas! Everything was super tasty and delicious! Highly recommend :)

Amazing food and service! Ordered the Travelzoo dinner for two deal that included a litre of sangria and your choice of 5 tapas and 2 desserts from the menu. We ordered the papas bravas, tortilla de patatas, sauteed mushrooms, steak frites and baked goat cheese. All were delicious; the mushrooms and goat cheese were especially good! For dessert we got the lemon almond tart and the chocolate cake, which was their special of the day, and they were also very good. Portions were way larger than expected! 4 tapas would be more than enough for 2 people. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Cant wait to go back!

Awesome place. Been there several times now. Food is great and some nights they have an incredible Flamenco band with a very talented female dancer and singer.

The prices of these Tapas are definitely reasonable, with some as low as $6 and others up to $14. Theres a large variety of choices from chicken to squid ink ravioli. The drinks are the star though - the pear drink was out of this world. Definitely a great choice for tapas downtown Toronto!
