1419 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6P 3L4, Canada
Snug Thai eatery with limited seating offering a compact menu of curries, rice dishes & soup.
The best Thai cuisine on Bloor! I went out for dinner here with my friends. I was so happy that I finally could go there because I heard a lot about this place. I really enjoyed every single bites. Staff are attentive and let us chat until closing time without saying anything. I can’t wait to try next Chef’s special.
Hehe YUMMYY- it’s a Thai place (clearly) that I visited with my cousin. It’s a small cozy place, in front of the terrible intersection all drivers get honked at, but the inside is so nice 😋 they have a few goods they sell alongside the restaurant meals. The menu is small, and according to my cousin some things change daily. We got the fried chicken and rice and MUAH it’s so good. The chicken was crispy, the rice well seasoned, the sauce was so good (what is this secret sauce I must know), the soup was nice, and the Thai iced tea is GOOOOD. Please come visit, I’ll be back too! Thank you for having me!
Great authentic Thai place. Everyone in the restaurant was speaking in Thai. Food tasted like back in Bangkok. Also some unique menu items as well. Try the Papaya Salad!
Deliciously authentic home style cooking. We ordered the chef’s special for the day: the beef massaman curry. So good!
Cozy little Thai joint located near Bloor Station. Service is excellent - the workers are polite and ensure I have everything I need. I went here to try out the Khao Soi with chicken, and it was a delicious medley of flavours and textures in my mouth. There is great bar-style seating facing the windows, which is great for dining by yourself or with a partner/friend.
Wonderfully authentic Thai food! Good balance of sour, spice, saltiness, and sweetness. Presentation was well done, such vibrant colours. It’s a small joint, so you might have to wait for a table like we did, but totally worth the wait. We’ll definitely come back!
WOW! I drove by this place by chance and needed to drop by to try after seeing great reviews and pictures on Google maps. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated and served. Super cute and cozy place with clean simple decor, very inviting atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of things to try and we were impressed by every single dish. Nicely presented and everything tasted fresh, delicious and reasonably priced, too. We were a little disappointed that they only have sticky mango rice cake between May - Aug but that just gives us an excuse to go back soon. 😋
Authentic and one of the best Thai restaurants in the city! Thai Nyyom is definitely a gem. I’m always impressed with the consistency, quality of the food and the service. I dined in yesterday and as always, the food was delicious and fresh. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Thank you ka Thai Nyyom! <3
This is the best Thai place in the west end and the staff is so lovely. The specials are always incredible and I love the khao soi. Also the fresh roll sauce!!
So authentic so good!
Absolutely delicious food! The khao soi was full of flavour. And it was reasonably priced. The staff was friendly too. Definitely ordering from thai nyyom again!
What a gem of a place! I had noticed it on my bike rides in the area then read some glowing online reviews. Ive dined here three times in a week -- first lunch then back for dinner twice! When I like someplace I cant stop going! Their signature dish is khao soi but all the food on their tiny menu (with a couple of daily specials) is worth trying.
Great small Thai food joint with amazing khao soi and rice wraps. My new go to spot for the time being.
Beyond authentic. I was so pleasantly shocked and surprised to taste such authentic food at a fraction of the cost here in Toronto. It felt like I was back touring around the streets of Thailand. The taste profile was balanced, the staff were so friendly and warm, and the place although small, was cozy and clean. They have daily specials that keep changing so it s a constant surprise, but I am definitely coming back here. We had it yesterday and craving it again today. What a find!
loved the fried pork belly on sticky rice
Really great, authentic Thai food. The Khao Soi chicken is the best Ive ever had, the massaman curry and the basil beef are great, as is the fried pork belly. The only problem is they only have a handful of permanent dishes on the menu, most of my favorite dishes are seldom featured as the daily special.
felt compelled to leave a review - the vegetarian khao soi is too good, the first one i ever had - which wasnt the best idea because I went to two other places and they could not compare in the slightest.
That chicken rice is something to die for!
One of the best Thai food spots in Toronto. Perfect sweetness in Thai iced tea and Mango sticky rice. Used to love the chefs special Thai Basil chicken with rice and egg. Sadly they don t make it anymore, even after requesting in Instagram many times
Fantastic
Exceptional ! great local vibe, family run, Im not from To, but come each time here, MOCA, galleries and Thai food. St My best Thai restaurant period. Kwàap Khun Krap
Great food, very flavourful. Menu can be expanded.
Believe the hype. Perfect business model with a small menu of exceptional food.
Absolutely loved the food. We had their khao soi with chicken and also chicken rice. The flavors had beautiful depth. The chilli oil added some nice kick. We thoroughly enjoyed.
A wonderful family run authentic Thai restaurant! Pad Thai was delicious! Great service and a small but diverse menu!! A real gem!! Vegetarian options: The tofu pad thai was amazing! Peanuts are on the side so you can sprinkle as much as you like! Huge portions with wonderful flavours! Very authentic!!
I got Khao Soi chicken and it tasted just like what I had in Chiang Mai and Bangkok! Portion was generous. The staff were also attentive and friendly. Would love to eat here again when I visit Toronto.
My fav Thai restaurant in the city. Their hainanese chicken rice is so authentic, so good
I wanted to like it more because the staff were lovely and the location is great, but to be honest the khao soi (their primary offering on a very limited menu) didn t live up to expectations at all. It was bland with huge bony pieces of chicken. The mango salad had enormous pieces of raw red onion that detracted from the dish. I m sad to say this is a pass for me.
I was just here for the first time and blown away by the chicken khao soi. The service was also great. I can t wait to come back to try more
Tasted really authentic and like you ve transported out of Toronto.
Love the owners and the food is always amazing :)
Really yummy food!
Best Thai food in Toronto. Was just in Thailand and the quality is what you would find at a tradition Thai place there. Price was reasonable, staff was very kind, and the food was truly awesome. Will be back again soon!
Khao soi chicken was simply delicious. Truly a fairly-priced home cooked meal. Highly recommend!!!
So delicious!
Amongst the best Thai food Toronto has today. Move over Pai, Khao San road, everything else - the flavours that Thai nyyom brings are just bombs that cradle your taste buds in an endless, comforting solace. The Khao soi was amongst the very few that managed to allow galangal, bird chilli, turmeric and tofu to play together like a jazz band - every ingredient was the star and felt important and improvised as the dish progressed. The Pad Thai was an example in simplicity - one that many spots have forgotten. Also, the simplicity of the place itself, the handwritten menu, the small kitchen, the friendly faces...this place is a marvel only a place like Toronto could give birth to, and Im proud of it.
Not a fan of khao Soi, but this was the only version Ive had where Ive liked it. Restaurant is pretty small and limited menu but we ordered was delicious.
Real authentic thai dish
100%Authentic Dish! Thank you very much. Its very delicious. Its the right chicken rice! Its honest chicken rice!
The food is amazing. Simple and tasty.
Pleasant atmosphere and good food! Iced tea is a must! Food
Some of the best Thai food I ve ever had
What a perfect little spot for amazing food and amazing service! I will go back for sure! Dishes are so fresh and tasty
Amazing food and service! Best Kao Soi ever. The cashier/server was so friendly and nice! 200% recommend
Hands down best thai food i have ever had in toronto. This place hugs you and would recommend eating in. Its super cozy and the staff are lovely. The food was mindblowing. The khao soi is unmatched, tasty beef balls with tamarind and the tofu wraps were great. Cant wait to return
Aug 6 to 11, 2024 close for maintenance.
This is a tiny breath of Thailand here in our bustling city. The menu is small with daily chef specials. Every dish brings me back... I LOVE this place for the food, but also the warmth of the people. Take time to have a chat, to relax and watch the world go by, to share time with friends in a joyful place. Go to enjoy. This is a definite must go!
Stopped by Thai Nyyom as a pit stop during my bike ride travels & ordered a green tea & a bottle of water to refresh. The staff were incredibly pleasant & eager to educate me on their menu. Although I didnt eat this time, I ll definitely be back to try the food. The atmosphere is cute & quaint perfect for a quick rehydration & getting some work done, but also ideal for a cozy date night. Highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through!
Loved it! The food is great. The space is small and cozy. Would come again :)
Definitely one of Toronto s hidden gems. Small menu, small digs, and absolutely amazing Thai food. Vegetarian options: Khan Soi Tofu is unreal. Tofu and rice is simple but surprisingly good. The daily specials often include a tofu version.
Cozy space with light but filling options. Definitely a go-to for authentic Thai cuisine
When Im sad i get chicken rice
This is just not my cup of tea. The number of items on the menu was so few that we were left unsatisfied. Mango salad and red curry chicken (which was literally the only curry item on the menu) were delicious. There was one noodle item, which I think is an acquired taste. Another recommendation was a sad chicken/rice where the chicken is literally just steamed and served with sauce. It makes more sense to cook the chicken in the sauce... I really wanted to like this place based on all the reviews but I should really have been prepared. I do take the responsibility by not checking the menu and only going by the reviews, but come on, the lack of options was so sad.
This place is great. Upon arriving, the staffs were very welcoming and friendly. They were patient and very informative about their cuisine. My friend and I decided to go with the chef special which was the khao soi beef and additional Thai ice teas, and a mango sticky rice. All dishes were delicious and I love that they don t add MSG. The level of spice were on the high level, be warned. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner.
Best Khao Soi in Toronto! Feels like Im at a Thai familys house for dinner - homemade and delicious!
the food is so authentic and fresh and the place is so cute!
I just ate here, see my video!! Favourite spot to eat before the Legendary stand up comedy Show at Torontos Keys Comedy Club!! Ive been here over thirty times the food is addicting and very delicious, happy to be their neighbour!
Great good, reasonable prices
Great tasting food! Very fresh and authentic flavors. Reminded me of my trips to Thailand. I wished they had a wider variety of food on the menu. Seats were limited, I felt bad for people coming in with no place to sit so we rushed ourselves out and offered our table to new customers so they too could enjoy the food.
I usually find the food really good here.. but yesterday I ordered the special for my husband and I. They didnt pack the spicy sauce separately and didnt warn about how spicy it is. We really tried to eat it but it gave us both stomach aches from how spicy it is that we had to throw our food away instead. I was taken aback by how much that hurt my stomach... if your spice tolerance is low, make sure to ask for spicy stuff packed separately.
Ive been here a lot of times now and every single time the quality of food is top notch. The staff is happy vibes. Please go here
Love this quaint spot!
Nice atmosphere and good service. Their Khao Soi is a must-try! I wouldve liked there to be more chicken, but still delicious. It is a little spicy, though.
Amazing food and service! Everything was delicious we got the chefs special and the chicken khao soi
Small cute place for about 15 ppl max. Food is really great and service is top notch! Fully recommended and will be back again.
Best food ever
Food was amazing! Love that they do a small menu and a chef special that changes every day. We had the Massaman curry, chicken Khao soi, papaya salad and mango sticky rice. Everything was so delicious and authentic - very similar to the food we had in Thailand just a month ago! Can t wait to be back :)
During our visit, we tried three dishes, with the Chicken Khao Soi being the standout! Its undoubtedly the best Khao Soi Ive ever had in Toronto. The soup bursts with rich, flavorful goodness we polished it off in just 10 minutes. Cant wait to return for the mango sticky rice!
I come here at least once a week, driving from the GTA because this is my absolute favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto. Food is very fresh and flavours are authentic. The Khao Soi is sooo delicious, chicken is fall off the bone and broth is well seasoned and balanced. It tastes exactly like the one I had when I travelled to Thailand: Kao Soy Nimman in Chiang Mai. I also look forward to the changing Chef s Special because I get excited with something new everyday. Truly a hidden gem, and best in the city!
Perfect small place that has a balanced but small menu. Each item is prepared fresh and is delicious! We had the Chicken and rice and Khao Soi Chicken. The portions were good but not overwhelming. The vibe was chill but it gets busy!
One of my favourite places to get Khao Soi.
Food and service and atmosphere all amazing! Great home feel and the khao man gai was perfect. Will be back!
Authentic Thai restaurant. Reasonable price. Only 3 choice of meals but very good at their specialities. My fav is their chicken rice and Thai milk tea. They also have a special meal everyday!
The best Thai fresh rolls you ll ever try! The dip is so refreshing! The khao soi is so good, always feel light and happy when ever I dine with them! It s my favourite place!
Excellent restaurant. I ve never been to Thailand, so I can t judge whether this place is authentic or whatever, but this place doesn t serve the typical pad Thai or red curry you would get at other places. We got the boat noodles and the khao soi chicken, the Thai ice tea, and ta-go. Everything was great. I didn t take pictures of the food as it came out, but here are the empty bowls to show that we ate every last drop.
The khao soi is exceptional (and vegan!)
One of my favourite local eateries. Super friendly staff and really authentic Thai food (not just your usual pad thai). Fresh, high quality ingredients used and you can really feel the care the kitchen staff put into the food. Clean, minimal decor - but very warm environment. Truly a hidden gem!
Thai Nyyom is a Thai restaurant that one of our list at every time I visit Toronto. Generous portions and quality, authentic flavours like what Ive eaten in my home town. The owner is very kind. Best Khao Man Kai (chicken on rice) and Khao Soi in the city!!
The foods are very tasty and authentic Thai food! Follow their instagram to see the daily special dish. Yum yum. Always hungry when thinking about their food. Just one thing about finding the parking spot.
The food here is AMAZING!! I had the khao soi tofu and it was delicious. Will definitely be back. :)
Working construction with a fever sucks but the soup and Matcha tea I had helped a lot!! Thank you. Respectfully I would like to recommend cushions or softer chairs. Otherwise 10/10
Thai Nyyom is excellent! The food is fantastic. Im a big believer in very limited menus because you know the ingredients are fresh. Everything is done to a much higher standard. I wish all restaurants did limited menus and focused like Nyyom does on getting fewer dishes to be perfect. Plus I love that they have a rotating dish so the chef can have some fun and isnt stuck making the exact same stuff over and over. That way you also know they probably went to the market in the morning and chose the freshest stuff to prepare the special. Its really clean, the family is SO sweet, the prices are very fair...the only problem is I always have to order extra cuz its so good!
Authentic delicious Thai food served by lovely people. This is a gem.
Thai chicken with Rice and soup - not much surprise on chicken and rice but the sauce is the highlight, it brings up everything to a great level Khan Soi - lots of good reviews, probably too much expectation, taste overall is good, but the sauce a bit too watery. If compare, I would pick Szechuan Szechuan (Vaughan mill) which has bigger portion and the sauce with coconut flavour. Thai ice tea just so so. Service is great, place is clean but few seats and tables.
a gem hiding in plain sight! I eat here very regularly and I just love it. The food is incredible, it tastes like someone s grandma lovingly made it. The chicken rice is my go-to but I also love the spicy beef and the bbq chicken The prices are affordable and the staff are so sweet and attentive. 10/10.
This place is so good! Khao soi was just as good as the ones I ve had in chaing Mai. Service was friendly and helpful :) thank you and we will be back!
Best chicken kao soi Ive ever had, by far.
i love how the food tasted it was nice and spicy. i got thai milk tea and papaya salad (which i forgot to take a pic of), but it did not come with rice noodles or pork rinds but still tasty otherwise :). their staff was so kind and sweet and i enjoyed the atmosphere in the place. its very quiet inside and small, which i enjoy.
My family was there last Saturday for the first time. We were very disappointed. Most of the items on their menu were not available; apparently, they only serve certain items on certain days of the week. That was not communicated on their website or we wouldn t have gone. We ended up ordering food that weren t our top picks as we drove all the way there and we re hungry. The food was just OK, not authentic Thai. . If you re planning to go, phone and ask what they are serving first or you will be disappointed like us. Price was steep for the meal too. Sorry, NYYOM, you gotta do better! Vegetarian options: They do have tofu in place of meat in some dishes. Parking: We parked on the street nearby. Kid-friendliness: The place is really small.
Very cute, always kind staff that make amazing food. Never a disappointment!
Delicious, authentic Thai food by Thai chefs. They have a simple menu with 3 items: Khao Soi (curry chicken with noodles), Hainanese Chicken on Rice and a daily chefs special. Excellent, well made, Khao Soi; it feels like Im in Chiang Mai. They offer Thai Iced tea as well! I am definitely addicted to this place!
Everything here is delicious! The sauce for the chicken rice is so good, I always order an extra. And the rotating daily chef s specials keep me coming back often.
Insane chicken khao soi. Lovely take out packaging.
Absolute top shelf. Cant beat the value and the tofu curry crushes it
Absolutely incredible. We had the khao soi chicken and it was delicious. Service was great and an definitely going back every time Im in the area!
Absolutely fantastic.
Small but very tasty and effective menu. Well-made and different flavours in each dish to satisfy people of various tastes. Appreciate the vegan options too.
As a thai, I find the food very authentic. Highly Recommended if you want to try the good home made thai food.
Cozy spot with excellent food. Highly recommend the Khao Soi
Delicious food, ordered the khao soi chicken today. Friendly staff, great service. Respect!
This is a wonderful food spot where the employees provide courteous service and the menu items are tasty and reasonably priced. I can vouch for the high quality of the Khao Soi (chicken or tofu - either option is stellar) and the tofu with rice. Unfortunately, however, I have to warn anyone reading this that if you get Khao Soi for takeout, the heat of the broth can partially melt the plastic container lid. The lid, once distorted, no longer fits properly and then broth can spill out. It happened to me today (see attached picture) and I lost half my broth - the other half ended up on my kitchen floor. To the owners, keep making great food but please switch to a better lid (one that wont melt) for the Khao Soi.
Great cozy place with limited space, food and service was great!
Wonderful place. Always pleased with the experience!
Great food. Kind staff and good price
Authentic Thai cuisine. Daily specials are always superb and provide a great variety of choices when coming back each time. The papaya salad is the best in the city and keeps me coming back. A small menu means everything is made with care and of greatest quality
Really great first experience. Cozy quiet dining area. Food is so flavourful and has a kick! Mango Salad and Chicken wings were the best I ve ever had.
Chicken Khao Soi is incredible!! I ve never had anything quite like it. Lots of flavour, good spice level and beautiful presentation. Chicken meat fell right off the bone - amazing! Location is very calming and the atmosphere/lighting really works for the place. Feels like you re being served an authentic home cooked meal!! I ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
Excellent flavours and at a great price!
Been waiting to try their Pad Thai and it was AMAZING! Sauce all of the way through and seasoned perfectly. Called ahead for pickup and order was ready when we got there. Lots of food packed in the container, enough for another meal! Definitely will try other options here soon! Keep up the good work! Edit: Omg khao soi and chicken rice are also best in the city!!!
Best chicken rice in Toronto. Simple menu means that there s care in every item. Awesome friendly service. This spot is a gem!!!!
The best Thai restaurant ever! The food and tastes are authentic. In addition of their regular menu, there is a special every day. Really recommend this place
Amazing food and customer service
The ventilation in the kitchen needs improvement as the smell of the food and the spicy overwhelms the whole restaurant
The dishes are very tasty in this humble restaurant, it is definitely worst the try, i would go as a regular place if I was close as prices are very competitive
As a Thai myself, I love their foods so much. Every single time I came here, I leave with the contentment and happiness Their foods speak to my soul and heal me. I always get Papaya salad, all kinds of curry dishes (very comforting) and the desserts are delicious , Great portion, high quality ingredients, all theses with affordable prices. You will not be regret to feast here. I promised
Authentic , delicious Thai food. The owners are very kind and radiant people who greet all customers with a smile. The ingredients are always high quality and the prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants. Thank you! Recommended dishes
Best Thai food Ive ever had! Everything was so well balanced and just so satisfying. Amazing!
How did it take me so long to try this place? After coming here once, it has taken the spot of my favourite Thai restaurant in the city. The pad thai and mango sticky rice were perfect, and on top of the excellent food we had wonderful service. The staff were very accommodating to my nut allergy. I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!
Great food, all of them, friendly service and loved the relaxing atmosphere.
friendliest owners and most honest Thai food in the city
Im Thai and this place reminds me of Thai street food so much! They have 2 everyday items; chicken rice and Kao Soi with chicken or tofu. Plus a chefs special that change everyday. Their appetizers remind me of Thai snack that you can find any where in Thailand. I went there yesterday and gotta try the special menu an it was bomb! Friendly staff and clean place plus yummy food. Good for take out but if you wanna dine in they have a very limited seating area. If you dont know what to get, just go for the chefs special of the day!
Wonderful Thai food The food is homemade, the menu small, but everything seems to be made with extreme care and attention. This place is worth travelling to, though parking in the area might be tricky. Thankfully the subway station is just around the corner! I had the tofu pad Thai which tasted very fresh (a special, not sure its a regular on the menu), and my partner tried the Chicken Rice. If you like Hainan Chicken, youll like this. Its a full meal with chicken, rice, and soup, made with simple ingredients but with a very authentic taste. Would come here again. Edit: I ve been consistently coming here and they re still one of the best (if not the best) Thai places in Toronto. The pad Thai is a Monday special and I make my 1h+ trek across the city to get it. This place is rated 5/5 and trust me, they deserve it.
Cute Thai restaurant. I like that the menu is very simple, but the vegan rice is a bit disappointing. at the price The food is so small in comparison The green curry is delicious. Chicken rice is also said to be good.
Best Thai food in the city. Hands down! The Mango Thai Rice and chicken wings are especially awesome.
The specials are where its at. The wings are sooo good.
The food can be really good but the service is not. We waited for an hour for a table and they keep sitting other people. I understand restaurants can be busy but you can let people know that there is not table instead of letting them wait outside.
The food here is amazing and the service is amazing too! If you want an authentic taste, this is the place to go; You wont regret it!
Little shop looks like its family run business! Though im not sure because i didnt ask haha Food was good and service was good The chicken rice is literally just boiled chicken with sauces to dip on side not really impressive I recommend you try the Khao Soi Paid 60$ for 1 appetizer 2 mains and 1 dessert with tips included Love the mango sticky rice
Knocks your socks off , so bring an extra pair
Number 1 chicken rice in Toronto
BBQ Chicken - Delicious and juicy chicken, being embalmed with a mouth-watering smokiness that you could only get from charcoal. The soy sauce-marinated skin crisps up like an umami-filled chip that pairs perfectly with some good old sticky rice. Chicken Khao Soi - A coconut and curry broth thats so perfectly balanced and addictive, its no wonder the egg noodles cling onto it so well. The crispy noodles bring a fragrant contrast in textures, along with all crispy onions, coriander, onions, mustard, and a fragrant chili sauce. The chicken inside was too tender and overcooked though, with a sort of broken, grainy texture. Spring Rolls - Its impeccable texture comes from its abundance of varied veggies that provide a nice crisp and a slightly pickled taste. Also served with a vinegar sauce thats packed with fragrant herbs, sadly they didnt give me enough. Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!
Excellent Khao Soi, just like in Chang Rai. Great atmosphere, although a very small place that holds only about 12 people. Good service and pretty fast. Vegetarian options: Khao Soi with tofu
Amazing authentic Thai food. One of my faves and will be back many times!
Visited Thai Nyyom for dinner and tried the beef balls, chicken khao soi, chicken curry, and mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious and came out really quick ! The khao soi broth was very flavourful and the curry had the perfect level of spice. Our favourite dish was the mango sticky rice, one of the best we ve had at a restaurant !
Loveeee the khao soi
I decided to visit this place based on the glowing reviews specifically for their Khao Soi dish, and I must say, it certainly lived up to the hype. It was my first time trying Khao Soi that included bone-in chicken directly in the dish, which added an extra depth of flavor. The portion size of the chicken was impressively generous as well for a <$20 price point. The coconut curry broth was flavorful, and they provided ample servings of shallots and pickled mustard greens to enhance the dish. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable culinary experience.
We visited this place a couple weeks ago, and tried their fried pork and khao soi. It was great, however the place had not a very good ventilation so it was very humid inside.. so unfortunately that kind of put a down on our dining experience.
Simple yet excellent. If you want great Thai food in a casual, relaxed atmosphere this is the place for you.
Great Thai food that rotates
The food and vibe reminds me of Chiangmai
Best Thai food I ve ever eaten in Toronto. Chicken Khao Soi was delicious. The meat fell off the bone and the appetizer mango salad was perfect. The server and kitchen staff were SO friendly. I will be back.
God tier.
I went to this restaurant on a weekday, and the crowds were relatively small, which was very good. They use QRcode to order, but you need to confirm with the staff. We ordered chicken wings, curry noodles, Hainanese chicken rice, pork knuckle noodles, and frozen Thai milk tea. All food is delicious
I love a short menu - such a relief not to have to go through a long list of choices and descriptions. Friend and I shared Beef Stew with rice noodles.A basic description, for an extraordinarily delicious dish. Flavors are.outstanding. Best cold rolls I have ever had.
So rare to find good authentic Thai food. Small menu and small palace but the people there are fantastic. Grew up in Thailand and the food here reminded me of getting food in Bangkok when I lived there. Vegetarian options: There were veg options on the menu for the curry and noodles.
Delicious family run restaurant. So authentic and they really do perfect every dish they serve. I look forward to their daily specials
Great place for authenric Thai food! This is a small restaurant on Bloor Street and would go there again. Pros: 1. Authentic Thai food: We started with a Thai iced tea, which was great and seemed to have been brewed in-house. I have never had this type of iced tea anywhere except when I was in Thailand. We also had a mango salad, which was delicious. For the mains we ordered Spiced Curry Chicken and Khao Soe. Khao Soye was flavourful and delicious. Spiced curry chicken a chicken curry dish which came with thin white noodles and some Thai vegetables. It was good but spicy (as the name suggests!) 2. Great and quick customer service Cons 1. Small portion size: The mango salad, Khao Soye and Spiced Curry Chicken all had smaller portion sizes compared to other Thai restaurants i have been to.
Great food. Fresh, tasty and happy family all the time ordering from here! Great service too!
First time of try out this place! Absolutely tasty and fast service, fantastic taste! Although hard to park and but small for bring big group to dine but take out is still not let me down the taste! Will come back again! Love it!
The Khao Soi was delicious and beautiful! The restaurant only has a few dishes to choose from, so you know they do them really well! It is a small place so there aren t too many tables, just FYI. Will be back!
Small menu, but everything is so good! Friendly staff, cute spot, and delicious food. Easily one of my faves
Best thai food in the city hands down, owners and workers are always so sweet you can tell they put a lot of love into each dish! Absolutely delicious
The chicken khao soi was absolutely fantastic! We stumbled on this gem of a place walking from York and before the thunderstorms arrived, we tried our luck at this Thai restaurant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food here, the veg/tofu spring rolls were also delicious and the service was exemplary! We will definitely be coming to Thai Nyyom when we fly to Toronto from the UK again!
Tasty food, decent price, portion size on the smaller size but nice service and venue. Would go again.
An authentic Thai place in Toronto. I took Khao Soi Chicken, which is equivalent to coconut milk noodles in Burmese. This is a hidden jewel in Toronto. The price is fair and the place is cozy too.
God Damn... Mmmmmmmm Absolutely worth it. Mom and pop restaurant, very friendly service and Chef special curry blew my mind. Its a definitely must visit place Food
so yummy and super homely
Only Thai I ll eat in Toronto - authentic and tasty. Nice portions too.
We got two servings of chicken khao soi at Thai Nyyom. Weve both had khao soi at various restaurants across the city, and by far, this is our favorite! We got a good portion of food. It is priced according to the average thai restaurant. The flavours were A-MAZING and the service was great. Thai Nyyom have just gotten a pair of regular customers as we both work nearby. Definitely plan on returning to try some of their other menu options!
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and got the pad Thai with chicken for takeaway. I took 2 bites and was shocked at the flavour. This is the best Pad Thai I ve had. Highly recommend. I will certainly be visiting again.
This place is unreal. So much flavour. Amazing size portions. Staff is always so friendly. Ive gone twice this week I could honestly eat here everyday. Dont walk, run here! Its incredible
Very good curries and very reasonable prices.
We were changing seasonal tires around the corner and was planning to grab a quick bite for dinner. We didn t expect it to be this good!!!! We ordered a vegetable roll as appetizer, the dip was amazing!! The Khao Soi chicken was so tender and flavourful, we ordered an extra one The service was also good and friendly, highly recommend!!! Will definitely come back again
Good
Hits the spot every single time. The chicken and rice is my favourite and the Thai ice tea is insanely good.
Food was good and well done. Pricey for what it was but well done. Menu choice was limited and portion size was modest. Staff were nice. Parking: Some street parking options but not particularly convenient or free
The flavour and the taste is just impeccable, the environment and service is also just perfect in my opinion this place is one of my highest rated places! Welcome to the nine club 9.8/10
Amazing Thai food and very authentic!
It s so good I hesitate to share it.
We had the chicken rice, the chicken Khao soi, and the Thai iced tea, and they are all 10/10!
Small menu but really good authentic Thai food. We tried the Chef Special (which vary, depending on what they have on hand) and Khao Soi Chicken and both dishes were full flavor. Great, friendly service and really good knowledge of the menu. Highly recommend!
Loved their khao sao! My fiance and i are coming back again just for it.
Small place run by incredible people. The rice was cooked perfectly
The Chicken Khao Soi - authentic, & packed with a lot of flavour. The chicken melted off the bone! The chicken wings were seasoned, and really crispy. The layered coconut dessert (cake) was delicious. Soft, a little chewy, and almost gelatinous (rice flour?). Perfect balance of sweetness and all the different flavour profiles. Everything tasted wholesome & like a home-cooked Thai meal. Great service too!
One of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto!
Their Thai iced tea is only $5! So refreshing and best in the city. Khao soi is also the best I ve ever had. Don t let the small menu deter you! Every one of their food items is amazing
Unreal food, great price point. Only a few dishes on the menu but they are all on point, vegan options too. Desserts and tea are good too
I loooove this place, the meals are fresh and homemade and the menu changes regularly. There are lots of flavors and its as spicy as we need it! Its a great option for healthy nutrition and comfort after a busy day. Too bad it closes on Sundays and early in the evening!
