Amazing food, Great service easy delivery arrived when they said and still warm

I ordered delivery on doordash around 11pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant confirmed my order but whenever a driver would go to pick up the order they would cancel. This place really accepted my order then closed down for the night. I will definitely not order here again.

Huge portion sizes for reasonable prices! I got the Malaysian curry with chicken and it was really flavourful, plus I have enough to take home for another meal. Will definitely come again.

Food is always amazing here and consistent, waitress is always nice and friendly

I dont know if you guys read or respond to these but if you do, what ever happened to your Crispy Chicken?? It was sooo good, but now it seems its gone from your menu on DoorDash and impossible to order. I constantly get cravings for it, and am sad every time because its gone. You still have crispy beef, so its kinda confusing why not chicken?

Unfortunately everything fell short here. Asked for the meal to be spicy, it wasnt. Lemon soup not super flavorful. The spring roll wasnt bad. Will not reorder when I compare to other restos in the area.

Ive ordered from here many times before, but last night was the last time. Ive ordered the cashew chicken from here at least a dozen times over the years, I placed another order last night, when it arrived I received the most bland, literally spiceless meal in have ever received, Im not even sure there was salt in it thats how bland it was. Not a single chili pepper or pepper seed in the entire meal, which was surprising considering its considered on the menu, it tasted like chicken and water with a really weak flavor. It was a huge disappointment, I tried to eat it but it just tasted so bad, ended up throwing the majority of it out and filled the void with McDonalds. Never again.

We didnt have a reservation, we had to wait at a bar right there, but the food and service were worth it. I would go again

I ordered buy one get one free. Friendly thai accepted my oder and payment but did NOT provide the free items. But rather charged me full price. Friendly thai SCAMMED me. I requested a refund for having to pay double but they refused. Do not order from this Friendly thai, they are anything but friendly, they are scammers! Update: I called the owner as he requested. He could not be bothered to answer the call.

Ordered Uber delivery today.. and it was OK. The Panang curry was super sweet.. sweeter than usual compared to most I ve tried, and it had lots of potatoes which to me is not traditional. I chose calamari for my protein with my curry and the calamari didn t taste that fresh, extremely dried out. Spring rolls were good, and the hot and sour soup was good, lots of veggies.

Always excellent food. My favourite is Crispy Beef and Curry Chicken.

Lunch is good

Didn t want to cook on Wednesday as I was walking on Dundas and ended up at the Friendly Thai with my wife and 7 months baby girl. It s a cozy little place with healthy and savoury food. The service is friendly, making justice to their name, and the servings are generous. We had the lunch special Green Curry with soup and the Crispy Beef. Tired the mango lassi, which as far as I knew is an Indian speciality, and was surprisingly good. All of that for around $40 bucks including taxes and tip. Overall I was satisfied of a nutritive and tasty lunch for two at an affordable price point. The cherry on top is that we asked for a side of avocado for our baby to join the feast and they were kind enough to serve us a few slices as a side on the house. We greatly appreciate this kind gesture and will be coming back. Highly recommended.

This use to be my favorite restaurant. Last 2 times all the meals were cold. I was just here Jan 8th with 2 others and once again the food was cold. They took it back and promptly brought out the food again on new dishes. You could tell these things were microwaved because it was warm on the outside and hot in the middle and taste it like mush. The coconut rice dishes had giant sharp stocks of lemongrass in them. After picking out all of the pieces of lemongrass we showed the manager and He tried to explain how these dishes were supposed to have lemongrass but clearly doesnt know how you are supposed to prepare it. We told him that we were not paying for the meal and he was OK with that but then I came home and thats when the stomach pains started. I spent the entire day Monday not being able to get out of bed because my stomach was hurting me so much. I spent most of Tuesday in bed as well with bad stomach pains and not being able to eat anything. Tuesday night I went to the emergency room to get looked at and it turned out that I had an obstruction in my intestines that was probably from swallowing a huge stalk of lemongrass. I called the restaurant today to leave a message for the owner to contact me but they have not returned my call as of yet so I decided to let everybody online see what they can expect in their rice. My next steps are to call the health board and have this restaurant looked into because I would not recommend it to anyone ever again.

I updated my review and saw that it became posted just now. The review is acually from years ago. *** Last nights delivery was a big disappointment. The breaded squid was soggy and cold, the noodles were an unappetizing grey with a couple of chunks of sweet red pepper thrown on top, and the mango salad was colourless and uninteresting. Nothing was flavourful in the least. I think it was the chefs night off and they sent pre-made stuff that was microwaved: I was told on the phone that the delivery would take an hour and it took barely half that. Never again.

My friend and I picked up take out and it was so delicious! Great menu, lots of variety and vegan options, was ready when they said it would be and the prices are really good! Was hot, fresh, and flavourful, definitely recommend

Worst tasting pad Thai. We requested a medium spice level and there was no spice at all. Tasted more like noodles with ketchup how sweet it was. Lesson learned never going back here. Wouldn t recommend if your looking for a pad Thai

Not the best Thai experience. Pad-Thai smelled strange, I decided not to eat it, but everything else was OK, we liked fried calamary and coconut soup.

We ve been ordering from Friendly Thai in the Junction for many years and usually have good meals from this location, but last night s order was definitely not up to par. The pad thai was dry and lacked flavour and the crispy ginger beef was soggy. We also ordered the lamb which was passable and the mango salad was tasty. But overall we were disappointed in the lack of flavour from some of the food.

The pad Thai was alright, nothing to rave about, but Im pretty upset about their version of Mango and sticky rice. It is my all time favourite Thai dish and I ordered it... Wish I had taken a picture, it was brown, ridiculously sweet liquid rice with bits of PINEAPPLE boiled in it. NO MANGOES. who makes mango sticky rice without mangoes? It was really disappointing and ruined the whole meal. We packed it because we didnt wanna waste it: I posted a picture of a couple spoons left over.

We ate here for a late night snack. Ordered the chicken yellow curry and mango sticky rice. Their curry was good, although I wish the dish had more chicken portions. Their mango sticky rice isnt the usual sticky rice you see where the rice is white and the mango is served separately. Its all mixed together and had cashew nut toppings.

Very nice discovery. We started with their spring rolls, a real delight, super crispy. Then we tried the classic pad thai and the pad thai curry, both vegetarian, it was very good, the portions are generous. Their cocktails are not bad too. The restaurant is chic but friendly, nice decor with real plants (I hate artificial plants). I recommend! Vegetarian options: Lots of choice with tofu

Ordered the vegetable curry pad Thai and it was delicious large portion and filled with lots of vegetables. It was flavorful and not too spicy either. Would recommend it! Cant wait to try other dishes!

Weve lived in the neighborhood for 25 years. We have tried several Thai restaurants for take out and this is by far our favourite based on quality, serving size, and price. Green curry is delicious.

Great cooks. They were really kind. However if you re looking for authentic pad see ew I wouldn t recommend. It looks more like drunken noodles with green And red peppers. The noodles were soggy and the beef tasted boiled and the flavour was just lacking. However the portion was decent.

The spicy noodles that we ordered is too soggy overcooked and sticky. After the sever asked we told her about the problem and she said she s gonna tell the people at the back but she never cameback and didn t make any effort to fix the problem.

The Tom Yom soup was extremely salty, as if they threw in the entire jar of salt! The their beef plate was so tough Also Salty. Disappointed with my meal

Absolutely horrible customer service. They treat you (both over the phone and in person) with indifference. First time we ate there my food was tasteless but all my friends liked theirs. I decided to give it a second shot and though the food is decent (nothing spectacular), the customer service was once again absolutely dreadful. I really don t understand how they call themselves friendly . My wife and I will not be coming back.

Disappointed - ordered through Ritual site - food was ready when I arrived to pick up but they forgot one of my dishes. I drove home and when I realized and called them, they told me it was an error and offered to provide me a free dish next time. I let them know it was my first time ordering from them and that it ruined my daughters meal as everything else ordered was too spicy for her. They said the manager would call but never asked me for any of my information. That was at 730pm.... its 10:30pm now, still waiting... I guess it would have been a challenge to send a driver the 10 minutes to my place to drop off the dish. Mistakes happen but when the follow up is not there, it makes the experience regrettable

As always, the food was delicious! It was even delivered faster than expected (20 minutes earlier than the approximate time it indicated). Great Vegan and Vegetarian selection on the menu! Vegetarian options: The selection of Vegan and Vegetarian option is fantastic! It is always delicious and contains enough protein (tofu, nuts...). My partner eats meat and I do not, so its great to have both options, equally satisfying, at the same place!

We ordered 2 mains plus steamed rice. They forgot the cashews in the veggies with cashews and the beef slices in the beef with ginger was tough like an old shoe. Will not order here again.

Horrible! Ordered Pad Thai to go found more than 10 hairs on my food extremely long and mixed with my noodles. Honestly extremely gross. I would never go back. Completely ruined my experience. More than 10 hair in each Pad Thais we ordered two.

I go often to this restaurant but I havent stayed to dine in, always pickup. Somehow the place is always empty, I have never seen anybody eating there. Depending on the dish some portions are decent, other not so. The person taking the order over the phone (the same who gives you your order) isnt so welcoming, she should be more polite.

Unbelievable! I ordered 3 things on uber with this restaurant got pineapple rice and 2 glass noodle stir frys with 2$ extea vegetables n chicken. < with both stir frys. The one stir fry had just the extra broccoli while there was only 1 single piece in my stir fry.. Im really disappointed, especially because of the total I spent on this meal!

I did order Singapore Vermicelli on Dec 8 11:45pm in Uber Eat and I expected the order would come with vermicelli in it. And unfortunately, the order came with Udon noodles instead. Vermicelli and Udon are total different type of noodles with different shapes and different textures. I assumed they ran out of vermicelli then decided to substitute it with udon noodles instead, but they should have give me a call and inform me before making any changes.

NEVER AGAIN! I ordered delivery from this restaurant last Saturday. The website was fully functional and sent a confirmation notice that my order was on its way. It never arrived. I called several times, emailed them, and since then have emailed them several more times, but no one answered the phone and no one responded to my emails at all. Today I went in and was told that they werent open but the website didnt say that, and it took my money so the charge is on my credit card. I asked why no one got back to me and was told the manager is away but if I come back in maybe next Wednesday I may be able to speak with them. Are you kidding me? NEVER order from here. They dont care about customers.

I ordered crispy beef through ubereats and the menu didnt say it was spicy. The food turned out to be very spicy which was an unpleasant surprise considering I dont eat spicy food.

I used to order from here online and when I moved to the Junction area, I was pleasantly surprised to find out, it is now just a short walk away! I love to order the deep fried spring rolls with either the red curry or the golden curry. Both have become a go-to! Always delicious food and courteous service from the staff. Highly recommend!

Thought we would try the friendly Thai is the Junctuon. Ordered the cold roll which were not rapped tightly and they fell apart and were more like a salad than a utensil free appetizer. Also ordered calamari, not very many I. The container, filled more with peppers and shrimp chips, very disappointing. No hot sauce was peovided for the spicy dishes we ordered. If we order from Friendly Thai again, we will be going to the Roncencevalles location instead, much better service and food.

My family went all the way from Brampton just for the food. We bought the Malay curry chicken, basil chicken and shrimp fried rice here. Its just delicious. The portion sizes are huge. We will definitely go back again!

First time in The Friendly Thai and YOU have to go! It s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The pad Thai and fried rice is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Good food BUT we lost our confidence of dining in when no one asked us to prove we were fully vaccinated, they didnt even ask. Also, the server was wearing her mask below her nose. We suggest to order take out or get delivery.

We love to get food from this awesome restaurant. Their curry dishes are so tasty and the noodles are soft and yummy. I ordered take out (some fried rice, Singapore noodles, crispy beef and a variety of chicken side dishes) and they were all so amazing. I was honestly blown away by the quality of the dishes. I cant wait for dine-in to be open again!

Very delicious seafood dishes. Shrimp fried rice, garlic shrimp, curry padthai shrimp highly recommended. I love the mushroom soup, very light and brothy. The mixed vegetables are really good and never overcooked. The staff are really friendly and attentive. I enjoy coming here.

The Pad Thai tasted like ketchup - no tamarind, no spice, no complexity - just ketchup. The peanut sauce was oil with some crushed peanuts. Fairly generous portions for the price, but we will not be returning.
