I recently tried their honey chilli fries and manchurian momos, and they were absolutely delicious! It was snowing that day, which made it the perfect time to enjoy such comforting food. I loved every bite! Highly recommend it!
After reading all these wonderful reviews, I went there on Sunday night. Let me tell you this place is really popular among indians but there are like 30 seats inside. So, there is a lot of waiting. Sometimes you may have to wait around 45 minutes to get the table. We ordered: 1. Veg Tandoori Momos: 4/5 => Very good. 2. Chicken Tandoori Momos: 3/5 => Average 3. Tandoori Soya chaap: 5/5 => Must have 4. Chicken 65: 5/5 => Must have
If you’re looking for an experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. The food was stunning, awakening my taste buds with its vibrant flavors and authentic preparation. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and quick to resolve any issues. Highly recommended!
I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped in, the warm and welcoming ambiance, adorned with traditional Tibetan and Nepali décor, set the perfect mood for the meal ahead. The highlight was the variety of momos—each perfectly crafted with thin wrappers and flavorful fillings like chicken, pork, and vegetables. The juicy, savory bites were complemented by spicy dipping sauces that added an extra layer of flavor. As a momo lover, I was thoroughly impressed! Next, I tried their chowmein, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were stir-fried to perfection, with just the right amount of bite, mixed with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. The balance of seasonings made each bite more delicious than the last. The dish was generously portioned and packed with flavors that made it a standout on the menu. The pork chilli was another highlight. The tender pieces of pork were marinated and cooked with a crispy exterior, while the stir-fry of onions, peppers, and garlic in a tangy, spicy sauce added a bold, fiery punch to the dish. It was a perfect blend of heat and flavor that left me craving more. The service was exceptional as well, with attentive staff who provided great recommendations and ensured that the dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. For the quality and variety of food, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, making the visit all the more satisfying. Overall, this restaurant offers an authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced culinary journey into Tibetan and Nepali cuisine that’s well worth a visit!
Himalayan Kitchen scales the summit, and takes momos to the heights. Located in Toronto's Little Tibet, this is the premier purveyor of momos in Parkdale. Coming off of Lansdowne on to Queen West, Himalayan Kitchen appeared like a tea house in the mountains, offering refreshment and respite for a weary traveller. As an aspiring connoisseur of the fine art of the dumpling, I had to try both the Butter Chicken momos and the Jhol momos (I was very hungry). I selected the Butter Chicken momos with... chicken as a filling (made sense 🙂), and chose beef as the filling for the Jhol momos. These took about 15 minutes to prepare, and arrived beautifully simmered in their respective sauces. The Butter Chicken sauce was rich, robust and made its presence felt, in a very pleasing way. The Jhol sauce, by contrast, was thin, delicate and tactful - very different, but pleasing in its own right. The meat in both cases was cooked wonderfully, and the momo wrapping was thick enough without being overdone. The decor showed strong accents of orange, one of the most pleasing of colours: warm and inviting. The background soundtrack was groovy, chill Desi music, and the staff introduced me to the song "Naina" from the Bollywood film "Crew" (sung by Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah) - Love it, it's currently number 2 on my Desi playlist. Also really cool were the shirts worn by the wait staff, with the slogan on the back: "I Followed My Heart & It Led Me To Momo". Yes it did, indeed. The best compliment that could be given to Himalayan Kitchen, was that of an empty bowl, with every last morsel and sauce devoured to the end (photo included as proof). This is the place to come to in Parkdale. Make the ascent to Himalayan Kitchen.
I had a great experience with the food here. We asked for everything to be spicy, and it was just right. The Kurkure momos were especially delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and the taste was truly authentic. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
Had a 20 minute wait for Sunday dinner service. This place is always crowded and wanted to see for oneself what the hype was all about. Chicken Momo, sha phaley and chilly momo we liked, beef Momos were middling and veg Momos I probably wouldn't order again. Momo dipping sauces are spicy and complements the momos. Would like to try other things on their menu .
Food was great! Really liked there veggie steamed momos. The restaurant can work a bit on improving the property and dine-in experience/cleanliness.
I was in the downtown area and did not want to eat too much. My kid loves momos (dumplings), so that came to mind, and the tongue craved for it. A quick search gave this place up. Loved the chicken tandoori momos, chicken 65 momos, and chicken steam momos. All was well prepared and served. This time, it was a takeaway , but it was definitely worth it. Did not want to dine in , so drove a bit to CN tower and enjoyed the delicious momos in the car with the family.. loved it. I would definitely recommend it
Amazing food! So much flavour and big portions. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Food : 5/5 |
Food has gone down big time. Fried momos are oozing out oil when squeezed. Butter chicken momos doesn t taste the same anymore
Five stars is not enough for this place. Damn good
good portions, well packaged, reasonable price
The taste was very delicious. Steam momos was okay okay. Malai momos was really tasty must visit.
Momos are very tricky food - somehow I avoided for long time until someone suggesting me this place and now I am fan of Momos. This recipe change my lenses to see momos. delicious food with great service -Aarzoo (If I spell correctly) you are excellent - thanks. Vegetarian options: Great varieties and options for vegetarian.
We have the honey chill fries and the Schezwan momo. Both dishes were bangers!! This place this affordable as well.
My coworkers and I really enjoyed the food. The flavours were great and the spices were just right!
I will never recommend a jhol momo here. Dont even know how to serve it. I went there previously it was fair. But worst this time and will never recommend to have this here.
Must try afghani chicken momos and spicy chicken (chef s special) momos. Good quantity and great taste.
Good service by bicky
Favorite dumplings place. Even their hakka and Indian food is pretty good.
This review is after my last few experience. This place useto be my favorite momo and Chinese food place . From last few times, I am having very bad experience. Even every time telling them the issue I happily pay my bill hoping for improvement. Today was the worst experience. Everything I ordered was a desaster! I ordered Chilli potatoes, especially mentioned that I dint had good experience with sweet chili potatoes plz be careful and we still got sweet ,sugary potatoes. Noodles were drenching in oil with no taste. Creamy shizwan momo which had never disappointed , were cold and weard tasting . Had to leave more then half of the food . After explaining and showing everything. Staff agreeing with us . I paid full price .( it hurts when u pay for bad expensive food ). Sad but I m not going back. Every time I useto go in that area , it was must visit, unfortunately not anymore. Such a shame they had such good food . Now just disappointment!
Today we went to Himalayan Kitchen thinking we will get authentic nepali momo but really disappointed how it turned out. It was really disgusting and the taste was minus , no salt no spices nothing. On top of that the ambience with non nepali loud music was very agitating. I will never recommend any of my friends to visit this restaurant ever.
Definitely my favourite momos so far on this street! We ordered the creamy szchuan momo and honey chilli fries. Both are flavorful and delicious.
My fav momo place in Toronto. Love their Chilli beef momo gravy
whenever i think of momos this has to be one of the first places that come in my mind. my go to for momos, love the steam momos they are so juicy, as a person from delhi you can tell my standards for momos are high, and i approve of these. the staff is also so nice and helpful. the chowmein is great too. would suggest for anyone who like hakka chinese/ indo chinese
If I could give zero stars, I would! I ordered through Uber Eats, and part of my order was missing. When I called the store to address the issue, the person who answered was incredibly nonchalant. All he said was sorry without offering any guidance on how to get a refund or resolve the problem. It s infuriating because when we place an order, we re not just spending money we re also giving our time. In this situation, the least they could have done was show some accountability perhaps explain the steps for a refund, offer a replacement, or even apologize sincerely. This kind of carelessness and lack of customer service is unacceptable. If businesses want to operate on platforms like Uber Eats, they need to ensure that orders are complete and that staff are trained to handle such situations professionally. Disappointed doesn t even begin to cover it.
Mango Moijto was amazing! Not sure if this place even needs my review as its simply awesome!
Delhi Masala momos were delicious. Restaurant is unassuming. Bathrooms were a bit dirty. Accessibility note: bathrooms in basement Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are in the basement
I am regular to the restaurant but this time I ordered chicken 65 fried rice and chicken is so less in it.. I dnt know chef change or some new guy came to cook but there is very less chicken.. hope for the next time Food
I ordered delhi masala momos, But the issue i had with them was, 20 mins after ordering food when status was asked, they said they didn t place order earlier and now they are doing it; which eventually took another 15mins to get our order. Another thing, when the order arrived there s hair in our food. This was so gross and so unhygienic to me, they offered to replace the order but after seeing it, none of us felt like eating ATM. They didn t take any money for it but i think they should work on their hygiene standards and customer service.
I ve visited this restaurant a couple of times, and one thing that stands out is how many people from the same country of origin dine here, which speaks to its authenticity. That said, I personally didn t enjoy the food as much as I d hoped. While the menu offers a wide variety (visually), I found the nutritional balance lacking. There weren t many options for salads or vegetables, which made it hard to get a good balance of protein and veggies in the meal. The spice level was perfect for me since I have a high tolerance for spicy food, but most people would prefer milder heat. Overall, it s not my top choice, but if you re into authentic dishes this is worth trying! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.
Review changed due to pathetic experience and no action taken by staff today Oct 23rd at 9.30pm against unwanted drunk people who were sitting next to our table and trying to physically touch and take pictures of my partner . I snatched his phone and confronted the drunk group of 3 people and deleted the pictures. I informed the staff to which No action was taken by them against them but just offered to change table. We decided to leave after paying . I was expecting the staff to throw them out of the restraunt . Highly dissappointed by action taken by staff. Concerned management can check the footage for oct 23 2024 9.30pm Highly concerning how the situation was handled by the staff ( hiding behind curtains when informed) empower your staff to ask such people to leave the premises instead of hiding . This is damaging not only to the restaurant but to the safety of an individual. Horrible traumatizing experience. NEVER comung back to this restaurant
Delicious food and amazing service
I loveeeee this place. This is my home away from home. Whenever I miss delhi, I come here for my delhi street food momos. Great taste and quality. This is my weeekly spot.
This place is incredible! A friend recommended it, and after reading some reviews, I noticed someone saying the food was so good they wanted to lick the plate clean. At first, I thought that was an exaggeration, but once we got our food, I totally understood we really did want to lick the plate! The mix and new flavors were amazing, and we finished every drop of sauce. Our favorite dish was the curry: Delhi Masala Momo (green sauce on top). Initially, I thought the sauce might be too much, but by the end, it wasn t nearly enough! I shared it on my Instagram story, and so many friends asked where it was because it looked so delicious. I m definitely coming back to try the butter chicken!!
The food was okay but Jen (cashier) ruined the experience. The mango lassi came after we finish our food, now we would have not mind it but when Jen showed her sassy attitude of course now we mind all the service. Terrible. Because her we would not like to come back. Fix her attitude or she will make customer not come back.
Best momo ever
It s one of the finest restaurant in Toronto for not only for delicious momos but also for tastiest indo-Chinese dishes. We tried delhi masala momos, special chow mein, Manchurian, hakka noodles and kurkure momos. All the dishes were very tasty except machurian cause it was sweet (you can try if you like sweet and spicy Manchurian). One of the nicest things about them is their quality doesn t differ even they are busy on weekend. Appreciating quick service as well on weekends. Must try: Special chow mein and kurkure momos
Food is delicious
Amazing place for good food. We will surely visit again. Keep up the quality. Thank you
Fast service! Update: It is my go-to spot whenever I m craving Indo-Chinese flavors. I recently ordered the Veg Schezwan Chowmein and Tandoori Momos, and they didn t disappoint! The flavors are bold and delicious, making it one of the tastiest spots in town for this cuisine. It does get crowded often, so I d recommend calling ahead to avoid a wait. Not the healthiest option, but definitely worth it for the taste.
He fries are the best! Recomended.
The best customer service I ve ever had! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you re a fan of butter chicken, you have to try the butter chicken momos they re absolutely delicious! And don t miss out on the lollipop, it s such a unique treat. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the fantastic service!
Wai wai sadeko is like Bhel with noodles sev, chilli fries are tasty and quantity is great as well. Noodles (veg chowmein) taste good as well
Quite good place to fill your tummy with good food.
Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options Food
Got food poisoning after eating the chicken momos. This place used to be good, really disappointed.
Love the food , such good service! Specialy tandoori momos! Food
So good.
Himalayan Kitchen is a gem for authentic Nepalese flavors, especially their momos and Thukpa. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service enhance the dining experience. With generous portions and fair prices, it s a must-try for people craving for momos. The only drawback is they don t have kids menu if you trave with kids.
We re regulars here the food is amazing but two days back in the evening I went here, we were two people and kindly asked the guy host for a better table as other seats are wayyy too close to each other. The table which we asked for, which was available , they didn t even have anyone after us waiting, still denied us by saying that s the only big table we have right now and not even in a polite way, it almost seemed like he was annoyed just because we asked him for that table, And it was so hypocritical as there were only parties of two sitting on the other big tables. I work in hospitality, I understand how it is at restaurants, I wouldn t have bothered to write a review if he politely declined it, I would ve smiled, said it s okay no problem, but the unnecessary attitude was totally uncalled for. When the staff saw that they clearly treated the customer with disrespect, only then they offered us to sit at the table, but the way it started is what stays in your head. It feels bad cus we go here almost every other week and still received this kind of treatment. Having good food is important but the customer service is even more important, this behaviour towards customers even if you re having a bad day is never okay.
The food is fabulous. The place is small with a very moderate seating capacity but works. The service maybe a but slow but the wait is worth it. Vegetarian options: Chilling Moms
Probably the best momos I ever had in Canada. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food : 4/5
Best vegetarian food. Himalayan kitchen special chowmein and honey chilli fries is the best. Must try. Good customer service too. Make sure to have enough time. Always waiting But that s fine.
I normally don t put out reviews but I had to for this one. The food here was delicious and the quantity and quality was surprisingly amazing. We ordered food through Uber. And the packaging was great too.
Their Hakka is worth trying. Their authentic taste and sauce is very addictive. I like their Chowmein, fried rice and chicken appetizers. Somehow the regular Chowmein is better than their special. But amazing food. 5 stars from my side
Just love this place..haha it s funny that I have just randomly made trips to these guys because of the momo craving especially the chutney!!! It s been 10 years of me exploring momos around Toronto and by all means this stands out every single time .It s my comfort, my vibe and my shrink for all the yummy momos the other things like tandoor and malai soya Chaap are among my favs too
Momos are decent. Service was below average. The server ignored us most of the time - we had to go up to the counter to order, and then wait again to get our receipt. No service in between except to drop off our food.
I had a wonderful time at Himalayan Kitchen. The momos were incredibly tasty, and every dish I tried was delicious. The vibe of the place was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!
Food was great like actually great..
Not sure what happened. Quality of food has gone so low! Expensive too. Chilli chicken was was presented and tasted very different. When i enquired about it they told if you need chilli chicken taste, you need to order Manchurian momos instead , we were pretty confused. Another customer was complaining about hair in his food. Chicken lollipop recommended.
Momos of this place are the best. Servers are kind and soft spoken. This place should definitely be a recommendation from Michelin. They just need to get the bigger place.
Variety of momos to explore. Loved the momo flavours, reminds of the taste from back in India
We ve truly enjoyed this restaurant for the past three years, but our recent visits have left us feeling disappointed. It s disheartening to see prices continuously rising while portion sizes are shrinking it feels unfair after all the good times weve had. While the food quality remains tasty, charging for hot sauce, which used to be complimentary, feels like a step backward. The ambiance is lacking, especially compared to the rising menu prices, and there are times when we ve faced long waits without any designated waiting area, even during winter. We ve noticed that portion sizes have noticeably decreased for everything, including chow mein, momos, fries, and paneer chili. With fantastic new options like Angara and Barkat nearby, offering great food, vibrant vibes, beautiful decor, and attentive service, I find myself rethinking our next visit here.
Perfectly cooked dishes, great tasting momos and varieties of it, one should also try the noodles and rice items. There would always be some wait time at peak hours.
Simply the best!!
Wow. One of my friends took me to this place and we ordered chicken fried Momos and chicken shezwan Momos. This was my first time trying their Momos and I am delighted with the taste. We also tried their honey chilli fries and chicken lollypops. They were equally good. Definitely a place to visit to satisfy your taste buds.
One of my favourite places to eat in Toronto hands down!!!!
Food was delicious, service was quick and ease of ordering, one of the best food restaurants experience i had in Toronto. Definitely would recommend it.
Best indian momos in town
Ordered butter chicken momos, deep fried beef momos, and sha bhaley (larger than I expected, theyre the size of a large palm). Food came out quickly, delicious! Food
The food was amazing especially the Delhi style momos.
Delicious, simply delicious! We live in Hamilton, and if were headed to TO, we usually plan ahead and go for or bring home dinner. The thenthuk very nearly changed our lives, and the chili momos are out of this world! The lassis are great, especially if you get spicy foods, and if youre in for something different, both the butter tea and masala Coke are interesting to try.
Superb food, nicely cooked and served fast enough. Extremely good chicken lollipop
Not even wanted to given one star. I used to go in this restaurant but this time is very worst experience. They were changed my table 3 times with very unprofessional attitude.this is the worst experienced in my life in any restaurant. After all of this My order was came after 40 minutes later When I was spoke to the waiter, he was extremely rude to me. His dressed sloppy and obviously has no training at all. the taste I like it here for as Tibetan style food, but the service is worst ever!!! There is no restaurant feeling! Tables is that much close you even can t walk either u hit someone or they have to move even with cont. dining. Which fell so bad. Still u want try food just take out. Better option Not recommend! i will never come here again and my advice is flee from there. Vegetarian options: U can find it in menu. But not suggesting for PURE vegetarian people . Parking: Very hard
Best Nepalese & Indian Food in Town. Momos, Chowmein, Nepali Thali, everything is tasty. A must try place in Toronto.
I ordered Kurkure momos and chole bhature online and they didn t gave any sauce with momos. When I called they started talking disrespectfully and didn t have any solution to it
The food is just so good that we go here often despite the otherwise terrible ambience and uncomfortable seating. Service is okay too. Must order malai Momos, special chowmein, tandoori Momos, steamed Momos, chili fries. Absolutely love their food 10/10. Food
Momos were great, noodles was bad. The chicken tasted stale
I thought it was a Nepali restaurant but seems as if it is an Indian restaurant. Food was not that great and atmosphere is congested.
its sooooo good! I get the tandoori or the sizzling momos!
Took 20 plus minutes to get my sprite. They completely forgot my wifes mango mojitos. Whats even worse is that we had to ask for the bill and take away box 3 times. Poor service but the food was just ok.
Get rid off your online ordering system. Horrible website set up. Trying to place an order through your website for pick up is a nightmare. Vegetarian options: The momo were great.
Just what you d expect from Momos; steamy, fresh and juicy. Must try spot for all kind of Momos.
Loved the momos, just like back in India. It s so spicy and meaty! The chole bhature tasted different. The texture of the bhatura is really weird. Don t know what flour has been used to prepare it, which makes it so much thicker and heavy. Definitely not an authentic bhatura.
Greta service, ambience and delicious food. My favorites were the Chicken Lollipop and Veggie Fried Rice. The chili oil is amazing too. The mojitos are also superb: mango, tamarind or regular. All amazing. EDIT: Tried a whole bunch of new things and everything was great. Highly recommend chilli chicken and soya Chaap.
they have excellent service, great staff, decent wait time. The food is alright, I had the pork chilli and beef fried rice, both the dishes had meat that could have been softer and more tender, they were extremely rubbery.
Was walking along Queen and stumbled on this gem. Food was delicious.
Amazing food Problem with penny pinching They do not even give 1 hot sauce when you order 50$ food in takeout. No value New policy wants to charge you for everything I am sure its not costing them more then 20cents Be reasonable!
Edit : Have been there 2 times after posting previous reviews! The service has gone worst no idea how food still is because they disappoint us by offering no seat anytime any day ! They hust keep us waiting and then are not ready to accommodate! They don t even try to care for their customers! Please don t kee waiting they don t deserve it Amazing food. We tried steamed chicken momos, butter chicken momos and chicken noodles. Everything was so flavourful even in the chicken noodles the chicken was so flavourful. Great customer service experience and food
Had delicious Momos, authentic food. Craving for authentic momos, try here once. And the quality and quantity was good.
Its one of the best Chowmein, Tandoori Chaap and Momos in downtown Must try !! Typical Indian Chinese flavors
Finally found good momos. For me, simple steam momos define how good such a restaurant is. We ordered steam chicken momos and crispy chilly momos (Veg) and both were top notch. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.
Worst experience ever with the arrogant and untrained staff and horrible wait time with no proper communication.
Amazing spot if you know what to order. You cant go wrong with the: Himalayan chefs special chow mein, chilli chicken and vegetarian Bombay momos. The dishes can sometimes be super onion-y, even then but its still a really tasty meal.
Amazing food, good atmosphere. The thing i want to point out is your online menu. It is difficult to read coz of the stylish font. Its very frustrating. Food
Amazing taste, never disappoints. Thank you Food
Honestly, I love the food here. But, in the last 5 instances, I have found hair twice in the food. Not acceptable and they are not apologetic. Stop normalizing hair in the food Himalayan Kitchen team.
Food is very average, may be thats how the Nepalese cuisine it. However, it does not taste like indian hakka Chinese. The flavors were missing, it was too sweet for my liking. Service was good though!
Their Momos are very good .
Need the number of the nepali guy there hahaha
Food was good. Service was also as there were a lot of people come in at once. Only thing for them will be to turn the music down as it s very loud.
I recommend the Afghani momos. They have a subtle taste of mint, which is delicious. However they re quite heavy. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian momos are delicious.
I dont know what part of the chicken you use to make MoMos, but the chicken was gross. Every bite had so much cartilage, should use more meat and not scraps.
Delicious and consistent everytime!
I have ordered the food so many times through Uber eats and everytime they don t give any cutlery, food is awesome as always but you have to look for this problem please and thank you
Too good to experience
Average food, only name is good but the food is average. Not too good nor too bad.
The place was too crowded and the hype was really. The Momos dough is well prepared because even when I took fried Momos the outer covering was not chewy. I really liked the stuffing as well. Overall the food was good This time we tried chicken steamed Momos, chicken fried Momos and veg chowmein
So I dined here with my family of 6 people on Jul 9. We came around 9:15 and were immediately seated. We had placed the order food along with 2 shots of black label which we saw on the shelf. At that point the bottle had only less than a shot left. Immediately after we placed the order, I noticed a wait staff walked out of the kitchen, picked up the nearly empty bottle of black label, and walked in to the kitchen. Almost a couple mins later, he walks out with the same bottle but it was 1/4 full now. And goes on to place it on the shelf. At this point, although I was having doubts, I still wanted to give the place a benefit of doubt and not jump on to a conclusion. Right when we got our drinks and tasted it, it was diluted low shelf whiskey. One could easily tell. I did confront the wait staff who replenished the bottle and he got nervous and started acting confused. To the restaurant- please respect your customers and do not engage in unfair practices. Although it s not common for establishments to fill low end spirits in expensive empty bottles, but when it happens right in the open, it s not only deceiving the customer but also illegal according to provincial liquor laws. Do better Himalayan kitchen.
I recommend Afghani Momos and Delhi-style Momos. You may have to wait a bit to be seated, but the food is worth waiting for. Amazing Experience Food : 5/5
Great taste of the vegetarian momo!
These momos live up to their great reviews and hype! Had the Afghan moms and they were delicious!!! Also had the Delhi style momos and also very delicious! The portions are great. One serving is very filling. The service was great- ordered over the phone and food was ready when I got there! Super fresh!
Appx. 15 min to take the order! Place is crowded, just a lot of people walking around tables! I have had much better Momos for half the price! Sorry but really disappointed. Jhol momo were terrible! May not have been our day but nothing was up to the mark! Very bland filling. Opinion of 4 of us by the way.
Poorest customer service ever!! Damn the washrooms were not even clean. Food
My friends and I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Despite being told the wait time would be approximately 90 minutes, we ended up waiting for more than 1 hour and 45-50mins. We had heard great things about the food, which is why we decided to wait. Upon being seated, we ordered a variety of dishes including chicken, vegetarian, tandoori, and chili momo. Unfortunately, all the momo tasted the same, and the texture was unacceptably tough and stretchy, making them difficult to eat.
Great taste as well as ambiance!!!!
The best Kurkure momos I have ever had
Great taste as well as ambiance !!!!!
Excellent food and amazing customer service
Tastiest momo I tried in Toronto. I ordered steam and schezwan creamy momo. Food quality 10/10. Bursting flavours. Highly recommended.
Awesome food and amazing service provided by on of the staff member Bickey
Food is good as always. Guy on the front counter doesn t know customer service . Has bad attitude!
I personally didnt enjoy it as much as i expected. The momos were good and fresh but there was not much of taste in it. I tried the kurkure momo and the tandoori momo.(Both veg) Tandoori momos were bland. It had good gravy and was not chewy, but the taste was bland. Kurkure momos were nice and crispy. I liked their honey chili fries. Overall, it was a decent experience. Also had to wait for 50 minutes to get a table.
One of the best movies you can eat in Toronto
People just come here play loud music, talk as if their friends are sitting on a different table. Staff wouldn t say anything to them. Ridiculous!!
I was dining in today. Firstly, there is a 30--40 minute wait with no place to sit, so youll have to stand outside the store on streets. Secondly, the personnel there took so long to take orders. Finally, the customer service is very poor. When we were finished, a guy continued looking at my table and when asked for a bill, he kept us waiting for half an hour. Apparently, I went to pay when he gave me an attitude for no reason. I believe that because of the Indian population, the store has become overrated; if we simply stop going there, they will lose business. Please behave nicely to your own kind There are different locations to visit and are worth it.
The food is really good, we had the afghani momos and special chowmein, both were recommended to us by the server and turned out to be excellent suggestion.
I checked out this place after noticing the long line and hype surrounding it. The momos were just okay, not quite matching the buzz. Additionally, the service left something to be desired, with a noticeable lack of efficiency. It s worth a visit if you re curious, but don t expect a standout experience.
The food is so good and I enjoy each and every dish specially chilli fries
The food was amazing and the dining experience is very great and the vibe is awesome, I highly recommend to visit once a time to enjoy the fantastic food.
Great experience First time in canada i love food With great sense of serving food Food : 5/5
Himalayan Kitchen is a hidden gem in Toronto! The food is not just good; its gud good! From flavorful curries to delicious momos, every bite takes you on a culinary journey through the Himalayas. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make dining there a truly delightful experience. If youre craving authentic Himalayan cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit! Thanks for a good service Bicky
The food was above average. I visited this place and tried jhol Momo, which was average. I was drinking water and then i noticed the cap of bottle in which they served the water. The lid of bottle had a grease and lookef like they were never washed. I couldnt drink water after that. Please start washing your bottle and their leads as well. When i touched the lead, the grease was even at my fingers.
Perfect cooked
Fried momos were amazing
Nice momo place though service can be fast.
one of the best momos in town
Himalayan Kitchen serves some of the best momos Ive ever had, and they come in so many incredible flavors! Each bite was packed with authentic taste and quality, making it an absolute delight. Alongside the momos, we ordered their Indian-style Himalayan special noodles, which were perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spices truly a must-try for noodle lovers. The peri peri fries were amazing as well, adding a nice twist to the meal. We also tried the tamarind mojito, which was okay but didnt quite stand out compared to the other dishes. Overall, the food was amazing, and this place is definitely a must-go for anyone who enjoys flavorful, authentic Himalayan cuisine. Highly recommended!
Easily the best place for indo Chinese cuisine. Momos and noodles will take you straight back home in India. Hands down
Amazing place to have Momo s!!! Ever since I ve had their momo s I instantly became a fan it s my favourite go to place and I would definitely recommend their Chilli and Tandoori momo. Also, the honey chilli fries soo good!!! Food
Everything is delicious. Try everything Vegetarian options: Veggie filling of momos is delicious Food : 5/5 |
This is a staple in the Parkdale area. The food is amazing, and was a good pickup yesterday following a family emergency that completely upended the days plans. I strongly recommend the veggie chow mein, beware the spice curry given on the side, it is very hot. Edit: came for dine in for dinner, it was good but found the music a bit too loud, making it difficult having a conversation. Also, this is Cash or Debit only.
I fell sick immediately after eating here yesterday. Now I have also found some past reviews complaining about getting sick after eating here. It seems they consistently serve stale/unhygienic food.
Very bad experience for me. Dirty place giving out stale food. I am sick after eating out here.
Yummiest ever!!
Loved the food best place for momo in town and the noodles are delicious
Butter chicken momos are delicious. I love the atmosphere and attentive service.
The food was really delicious and savory!! Tasted fresh and flavourful. Im definitely coming back and bringing more of my friends!!!
Place with best taste but all other aspects are very poor, like customer service, backroom so unhygie, very small place. And worst thing is that this place never accepts credit only debit or cash which I feel not fair where credit is used for most of the purchase.
I am in love with this place, every time its perfect and mouth-watering, we ordered Veg Chowmings, tandoori momos and paneer Manchurian that comes with rice. Everything was perfect but paneer Manchurian can done better. Food : 5/5
Excellent service (Ayush is awesome), delicious food (we had the Delhi Momo, Chicken Fried Rice and beef Chow Mein) and really nice ambiance. I especially liked that you can choose spice levels for most of the dishes on their menu (my spice tolerance is low for Tibetan standards). The wait time wasnt bad (15 mins) and they sent me a text when my table was ready. Im definitely coming back to try more things Edit: went there again the next day to try their chili fries, tandoori momos and chow mein. All excellent
really good food and really good staff
Good food, it was quite spicy!
A Nepali gem in the city. Love both their tandoori and Delhi masala momos
I am not going to lie Himalayan Kitchen also known as Momo2go has some the best Tibetan/ Nepali dumplings also known as momos then other restaurants who have momos id say Himalayan Kitchen wins for Momos Yummy Yummy Yummy in my tummy for craving for delicious momos!!!!!!
Nice place for a bite to eat or a drink.
Very cramped place but awesome food and price at the right point
I ordered a take out (jhol momo) Today, the momo s wasn t cooked properly and was raw.
the experience is very good
Tandoori momos were good. I liked the honey chilli potatoes the most. And their noodles are good too. Definitely worth going.
Theres hardly any point leaving a review; everyone in the neighbourhood knows this is the place to go for the best Indian/Himelayan food imaginable. Anyone just walking by knows it, since theres always a crowd of people outside the packed restaurant waiting for take-out. I wont get into how heavenly their samosa chaat is or how much I wish theyd bring back their hot and sour soup (I tried making my own and its not even close). Just going to share my favourite anecdote of this place: Theyre right next to another restaurant on the corner, and Ive long thought how cool it would be if they bought next-door and turned it into a larger restaurant since theyre always full, maybe hired the folks who work there so no one is out of a job. I brought this up to the young man whos usually behind the counter, thinking I had such a great original new idea... and he gets this cocky smile and says Theyre not ready to sell yet. Needless to say, theyre the best and they know it. I brought my mom here, whos terrified of spicy food, and she had a great time trying new dishes. Im making myself want to UberEats some chaat and a mango lassie right now... do it for me, because I need to seriously stop giving all my money to this wonderful restaurant that makes me happy I moved to Parkdale :)
Delicious
Overrated joint and inauthentic food at its finest. I was looking forward to the visit and I swear I ve seldom been this disappointed with a place. Ordered lollipop and momos and none of the items were up to the mark. Try Loga s corner just a few steps from this place instead.
The food was good but it wasnt authentic Tibetan/nepalis. It was a delhised version of the cuisine. A little hint of sweetness suited for majority... But the entire neighborhood has many other great places too... The servings were Huge though...
Absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how good the food is here. The service is also great, and its in quite a convenient location. Loved Himalayan Kitchen!!
