Fulfilled my Craving for laphing after so long Thank you Norling for reminding the taste again ❤️
Best laphing In GTA . Travelled all the way from Milton to Queen st just to eat this laphing Reminded me of Nepal’s taste And Thank you dai For Saving us these laphing
The food was absolutely amazing and incredibly delicious! The laphing here is the best I’ve had. Plus, they welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality!
Yummy food for a good price. They have great lunch specials and a lot of food to choose from. The waiter was friendly and would definitely come back again. Ate here for a Sunday lunch, wasn’t busy at all and service was fast.
I’m so in love with the waiwai laphing over here and I do recommend to every laphing lover. Momo size was decent but the taste was mediocre. I come here often and try few things at a time. Last time I had pork chilli which was quite good😊 Service was fast I got the food on time. Overall, I like this restaurant❤️
Fried rice and Chilly Chicken special was exceptional here. Thenduk was healthy and delicious. Must visit once.
Food was really good and staffs were very friendly.
Norling in English “land of treasure “ Went there with my family for dinner , we ordered beef momo ,beef salad and laphing . The food was so good that I we had to order again to go as well . If you would like to try some Tibetan cuisine, this restaurant won’t disappoint ya .
It s not good, the food was not good in taste.
The momos are my favourite- freshly made here. The owner and all staff are so kind. I also love the other dishes like Laphing and want to try everything but the momos lead me here on a biweekly basis. It is a very relaxing atmosphere where you can spend as much time as you like and feel at peace.
Best laphing in the town
Came here because of friend now This is my go to place Best laphing in the town Will be back again Food : 5/5
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable options in all categories! Food
Tenzin, the waitress, was very friendly. The food was amazing. The ambience, peaceful and relaxing. Great experience!!!
Laphing is damn good in this place Also the staffs Food
Been coming here Whenever I crave Laphing And will continue to come. Food
Love their food ! Best laphing in toronto.
Best laphing in Toronto! I love the momos and dry chili chicken as well. Can t go wrong! Norling is the best spot for a cozy meal and the staff and owner are the sweetest people in the world!
Laphing is so good here . Tastes like typical tibetan laphing i used to have in Nepal. Do visit once. Worth the price
Ive been to many Tibetan restaurants in the U.S. and Canada and I hate to say that this was the worst experience Ive had. No shade on the waitress, she seemed very busy, but the food was too mediocre to make up for the service and wait.
Spicy wings
Amazing food! One of my favorite restaurants!
Best laphing ever. Never enough. Me and my friend had 5 laphing at one go. And the soups and momo are also very light and delicious.
My one of the favourite place for laphing Best yellow noodle laphing Food
Ordered some laughing and momo, Best laughing in the town! Momo was awesome too! Definitely enjoyed the food.
Delicious food with amazing taste.Definitely worth a visit for a fantastic dining experience. Can do little improvement on customer service but overall it s good .
Yellow lapping best in Parkdale
Had the best laphing in Toronto. Also the staff was really friendly and kind.
only 1 server i.n the restaurant super slow and pathetic service. NOT COMING BACK
Love the authenticity of food here! I live in London but I always stop by here to get my fav food laphing!
Best, most authentic laphing.
was very tasty will definitely come back
This place offers a delightful taste of Tibetan cuisine with its cozy, culturally rich atmosphere. The momos and thukpa are standout dishes, but don t miss the laphing. With attentive service and authentic flavors, Norling is a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring Tibetan dishes.
The best Asian food i ate so far.
Went there for a dinner , had momo and laphing , the food are good there liked the momo and the taste of laphing as well. The only thing that dissatisfied is the service as went to ask for the cheque but dont like how the server pointed the finger and asked to wait for 2 minutes . Still after this , waited on the seat for more than 10minutes the server didnt showed up . So we again decided to go on the counter to pay but still we need to waited there for long . As a customer Me and my friend felt left and felt rude . However, the server was not polite and not kind as well . Hope to give some basic training as well besides serving. THANKS .
Great food and nice homely environment.
Best shabaley in Parkdale Edit: I just had yet another shabaley today. Trust me, it is still the best I have ever had. Food
Momo is garbage.am not recommend this restaurant for momo.
I love the Yellow laphin here , the taste is heaven . Its just wow.
The food was edible - but the seasoning was non existent. The veg momos with gravy were tasteless. We also tried chilly garlic veg noodles, Manchurian with gravy, honey chilli potato and chicken hakka noodles. If you re used to flavor, please walk along the road to other options (they re better). If you re looking for a patable, salted but not really richly flavored meal - this is your spot.
Food is great but service is lacking. Laphing in particular was delicious. Prices are fair but you get what you pay for in service. Staff are nice but inattentive, slow to bring food, forget orders.
Delicious food. Tibetan tea was very nice.
Food is okay
We are vegetarian and ordered veg momos. We got served chicken momos. I have never had that happen.. And honestly not the waitresss entire fault. She was nice, taking care of the front of the house with 20 people, and going back to communicate with the kitchen. There has to be more staff. We had to wait another 20 mins for a fresh batch of momos and at the end we didnt get any compensation or anything for that mistake. TLDR: the food was good. Disappointed with the service, as there was only one waitress who is clearly overworked.
Amazing food choices!
This restaurant used to be my go to restaurant. Lately I did Uber eats of gyathuk beef but the soup was full of soya sauce. I ordered chowmein again and all I see is cabbage and little chunks of beef with no veggies and hardly stir fried ans some parts of chowmein aren t even coated with sauce. And this restaurant always save on their chillies giving us cheap chilli oil. When you re a Tibetan trying to support a community and this is the food they come with!!! Seriously!!!
My go to place for Laphing . Fresh, perfect level of spice. Love it
Love their Laphing! It s authentic Tibetan! Also, if you love Laphing at Majnu-ka-tila in Delhi, you will love this
If you re eating on the cheap, the best deal in town is the hot n sour. Huge bowl for $6 and one of the best H n S I ve ever had. Filled up almost 4 small bowls. Staff was super friendly. All the other dishes looked really good. Tbh was initially thrown off by the green lights outside, but the vibe inside is on point.
Disappointed by the staff. We are not here only for the laphing when we entered inside the first thing staff said was there was no laphing while we were not even seated. We loved thenduk and momos of norling but the thing is your staff thinks that we are here only for the laphing which i felt like she was trying to get rid of us. Even if there was no laphing we could have something else but the way she said it before having seated was really disappointing.
Slow service+ the momo was a little uncooked and chewy. Laphing also bland.
Customer service is so bad
My fav place to have Nepali style laphing. Love it
Suchhhhh great food! Couldn t even find the front door! That s how you know the foods gonna SLAP
Their lunch special is the best deal in the city! Quite a bit of vegetarian/vegan options - their tofu manchurian is a must try Food
Very delicious food
THE BEST momos in Toronto! Some of our favourite vegetarian dishes. Flavourful, rich, and authentic Tibetan cuisine. Veggie balls are our personal favourites. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious meat alternatives that even rival the meat dishes.
I really like this place, the atmosphere and staff and I liked most things I had there. One bit of friendly advice I want to give though is pictures on their menus. Norling cooks more authentic and less mainstream foods than the other Tibetan restaurants in the area. Which is great, since Ive tried a few of them but for non Tibetans its a bit hard to know what they are and sometimes I had to guess. So far my guesses have turned out good though, I will return here on a regular basis and thoroughly enjoyed all my visits so far
tasty food without the spices being too overpowering. nice cozy vibes.
Amazing food and services
Fast service and beautiful tranquil atmosphere. Loved the Tibetan music playing in the background! We ordered momos, shapta (beef dish), chilli fish, and chilli chicken and everything was delicious! Bathrooms were also very clean which is always a bonus! Lovely owners too. They re very kind and hospitable! Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarians from what I saw Parking: Lots of parking right in front of the restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Very nice atmosphere for children
Nice steam momo.. server was good and polite..nice experience
We had take out and it was amazing. Great tasting and fresh.
Honest review - they deserve 5 stars. Were always looking for good Hakka food in Parkdale. This is our new favourite place to grab Manchurian veg (the gravy is so good). We also really enjoyed a thentuk and Hakka noodles. This place should be busier 5 stars for taking our request to make the thentuk spicy and serving fresh delicious food on a rainy day. We were very happy with the spice level!! Vegetarian options: Impressed by how delicious the vegetarian options are.
Delicious foods
Wow foods are so yummy there. The server is humble and nice.
Best fresh laphing in Toronto and service is amazing
It s a 10/10 meal you can look forward to. Had a lovely time with my parents eating to our hearts content.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant I will be going back Food
Food and services are awesome.
Worst experience we ve ever had. We had to call and text owner for the refund several times even after he accepted that we were double charged .Took 5 long days to refund.
Got takeout noodles. They were delish
Food is always good here. Authentic Tibetan dishes. Have been going here for few years now. Would recommend
Really loved the laphing
This place has the best lunch special out there its 12$ for alot of food and the quality is some of the best. I would recommend this for anyone who loves tibetan food.
Went to Little Tibet and ended up here for a quick bite. Ordered fried momo, Laphing, and the thenthuk. Really liked the laphing and thenthuk. Momo were just ok. The server was nice but the food took a long time to come. I d say try the laphing for sure.
Worst customer service
The greatest deal in the history of lunch deals is here. Going to Norling for lunch means that for the low price of about 10$ you will get more food than most can handle. It is probably the best value in TO. My favourite place for lunch. The food is also really tasty, this isnt just about portion size. Check out the image if you dont believe me.
I loved visiting Norling. There werent many people when we went, so we were a bit skeptical about the food. But never judge a book by its cover. Everything was delicious. I was looking for having thukpa in Toronto so thought of trying it here. The taste was authentic and sooo satisfactory. We had veg steamed momos, veg noodles aswell. Service was quick and the servers were very politr and welcoming. A soft soothing music was played. I loved it totally. I will be surely visiting it next time.
If you want to enjoy good Tibetan food, you must visit once
This place is my go-to for laphing, and without a doubt, they serve the finest laphing in Jameson. Honestly, I visit just for their laphing its that good!
Best momos in Toronto and it s not close!
Amazing place , I like the food , I like the service ... And good people... Thank you! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Had the best food in Toronto here. I am so glad I came across this quaint restaurant through a friends recommendation. The food was just amazing and probably the best service ever. The server was so friendly and had the nicest smile. Must visit for every food lover.
Love all the dish and services. Vegetarian options: U will get vegetarian dishes. Kid-friendliness: No problem for kids, kids can roam around.
Its a quaint little restaurant that is easy to overlook. Its absolutely worth noticing though. The food is fantastic. Plenty of different options for many od the selections. They do ask you how spicy you want your food as well. Since I love heat, I chose spicy. Was so good. The portions are not bad, we had to take leftovers home. Service is great. She knew the perfect amount of time to spend at the table and checking on us. Made sure our glasses were full, playes were removed, but did not continuously hover over the table. If you want a really good and cozy Tibetan restaurant to eat at, this is your place! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options if you are a vegetarian. Pretty much every section has a veg option if not multiple selections that allow vegetarian.
Chicken thali and momos were authentic fresh and delicious. Entire family enjoyed. Service was good.
Nice Hakka Chinese ...authentic Tibetien food
Good service, food and atmosphere. First time trying tibitian food, very similar to Indian.
I ve been to all the Tibetan restaurants in the area and this one is for sure up there in my favourites! I ordered pork chilly with gravy (mild), Egg fried rice, spicy chicken wings (mild) and a mango lassi. The pork chilly dry with more spice would ve tasted better in my opinion. Egg fried rice was really good. And the chicken wings were reallly good!! The mango lassi was one of the best lassis have had!
I really love this place, this place reminds me of Nepal. And yes you get laphing here as well !!
DELICIOUS ! I recommend. Very friendly staff
Staff was not good we went at around 9pm. Staff working there didnt treat us well.
All the food was so flavorful. Definitely some of the best Momos Ive had in little Tibet. Definitely get the Tibetan sausage.
Good place to have Tibetan food. We ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles (Spicy) and found them not very spicy as per Indian liking. Chilli Garlic Noodles were actually sweet and pink in color for some reason. Shrimp Sizzler was good although the quantity of shrimps could have been more. Nonetheless we enjoyed the food. Will visit again.
Fantastic food and great prices! Will go back again
Amazing fried veg dumplings. The filling is one of the most flavorful ones I have had. The hot sauce has nice deep flavor but a little salty. The steamed meat ones I ordered seemed juicy but they were all sticking to the metal grate because of which all the juices ran out plus the meat then separated from the filling and it was mess. They refunded that plate. Hopefully they can sort the sticking issue.
This place never disappoints me, rather always leaves more than happy. The serving size is good. The taste is really good. Especially the chicken momos and thupka. It is my go-to place for Nepalese food in the Queen street area.
you have to try dry laphing! (if you have a high tolerance get spicy but if you have a lower tolerance get mild)
My favourite momos! They are always soft, fresh, and flavourful. The chutney they are served with is out of this world in flavour and spice - Definitely recommend for those who like the heat, as it is probably one of the spiciest sauces I ve ever had. 10/10. I order from here often and always left wanting more!
Honestly, this is my first review and I didn t want to do it but Me and my friends are very disappointed with the customer service. I would say the worst, there was a girl very arrogant. Her service wasn t welcoming at all and it was my 2nd visit and the same girl, same attitude with 0 customer service skills. I would recommend the place for laphing but you guys need to train her for customer service skills.
Love this place. Highly recommend. Hope they still have the lunch specials on weekends. Ill be visiting Toronto again.
The food was good but the server was rude.
I went there 3 times for Laphing. Laphing and Hakka Noodles was really good. I would recommend people to try these 2 items. However, there was a girl server and she was treating us in a rude way. She wasnt customer friendly at all. Once when i asked her for Laphing, she said it was sold out. I told her we were there especially for Laphing, and she replied rudly saying If you wanna stay, you stay or you can leave. Very poor customer service. No any customer would like to be treated in that way.
Food is good small portions
Came here yesterday Excellent food but the girl server scares me with her customer service she needs to be trained she was not welcoming at allll
Dont let the exterior fool you. Very nice cozy place with lots of Tibetan, Indian, Hakka options. Food was good, bit different (for ex. Manchurian preparation had tomatoes in it) with a Tibetan twist. Service was also good.
To be fair, Ive only been to 2 other momo restaurants and this is by far my favorite one. Absolutely delicious and ive been going here for 6+ years now. Fantastic place Vegetarian options: There are veggie options but im a meat eater.
Wow! What a fantastic spot! Food was excellent, flavorful and well prepared (we had momos and soup). Prices are reasonable and service is efficient. I was just walking by and figured Id give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. I will definitely be returning. Kid-friendliness: High chair and kids cutlery available.
Was my first ever time eating Tibetan food in Toronto and I knew Norling would not disappoint, especially since it s located in the Little Tibet neighbourhood. Although the restaurant serves other Indian based dishes, we decided to stick the Tibetan food. As such, we got the la phing which was my personal favourite as someone who loves spicy food. The vegetable momos were done fresh and flavourful, although the chilli option did not really elevate the flavour profile apart from adding some sweetness to the momos. We had a vegetable dish that had an eggplant based patty looking dish which accompanied well with rice and even better with the Tingmo (steamed buns). The freshness of the Tingmo was one of the highlights of our evening, if only they had more spicy Tibetan dishes to pair with it. Nevertheless, I will return here to try out the more Indian seeming dishes and definitely again for the La Phing.
I tried the chicken soup, (gyathuk) veg noodle soup & the Hakka noodle. All the items were very well done and tasted very good. The soup is 3.99 which is a great price.
Great service and delicious food!!!
The best Tibetan fusion restaurant in Parkdale. A must visit for lovers of Asian cuisine...
This place serves some of the most amazing garlic chicken.
Fantastic lunch deal, huge portions, friendly service. Great Tibetan style Hakka.
Great place to try Tibetan food in Little Tibet. Great portions and options! Highly recommend!
Steamed chicken momos must try
The service was fast and respectful. The food was super-delicious. Highly recommended.
Not much know this place too.
The food here is amazing. Must try laphing if you have the willpower for spiciest thing ever.
Loved their sweet and sour chicken
Little quantity and nothing special
Best thukpa in Toronto or should I say in Canada. Legit Tibetan food and good customer service. Keep up the good work
I have tried all the Tibetan restaurants on queen street and yet to have awesome experience like this place, the momo s are thick , crispy and juicy on the inside. 100% on point. Thank you guys
Please update google map (business info) next time. Till then
Great food
Delicious momos, spicy fries and sausage
Fantastic food. Their Momos are amazing but their sweet corn soup and egg fried rice are delicious AF.
Best served Tibetan dish in Toronto. Freshly prepared and yummy! Shabhaley is Yum Yum
It was good, not perfect but I still enjoyed my meal its a 4.5 not a 5. Spice was good with the Hakka noodles , the momos were big and not everyone digs that but it was still tasty. The vibe in the restaurant is excellent and I would eat in. I will order again
Stopped here on a whim (and on a hunt for Hakka food), and it was a great choice. Service was polite, if a little inattentive. Spice-forward foods and huge portions and reasonable prices? I ll be here again on my next visit!
The food is delicious
Amazing Momos and fresh food
Staff very friendly. We had a large group that was accommodated well past closing. One of the better places to have chili chicken. Definitely worth checking out. Looking forward to it again!
The food is delicious and well priced
Affordable and tasty!
Amazing Indian Chinese flavors
The food here is excellent ! My coworker suggested this restaurant and I was blown away with how delicious the mumu was. I wish i could eat this everyday ! I am looking forward to the next time I can order this it was truely amazing. All my coworkers thoroughly enjoyed all the food ordered ...thank you so much!!!!
This place is so underrated. They have wonderful food and great customer service. Their steamed buns are just magical and the vegetarian manchurian is beyond delicious
taste was not so bad And pretty filling. good value for money.
we love norling food & their service specially spicy yellow laping, pork chilli and amdo momo.
Great food. Must try.
Went for lunch for the first time after a friend recommended it. Cannot say enough how delicious it was! I got the Thali with mutton, amazing flavours, great portion size, reasonably priced, and excellent service. Highly recommend
Both Momo and Veg Noodle were excellent dishes! Recommended!
My girlfriend and I were excited to try kothay Momo for weeks, and we finally ordered take away from them last weekend. We were already impressed by how friendly the staff was when we picked up the food. Once we started eating, our taste buds were blown away! This is probably the best Tibetan food Ive had in Torando in years, and certainly better than most Indian restaurants in Torando. We thoroughly enjoyed these dishes: - Kothay Momo, (beef/ Veg) Pan fried dumpling. - lhangsha changsha . cold beef with perfectly dressing. We cant wait to go back and order more!
Norling Tibetan Restaurant is one of my favourite place for dining Tibetan authentic food. I strongly recommend Vegetable Manchurian for Vegetarian. One rice bowl is served with it. Chilly potato is highly recommended as a starter for vegetarians. Beef Amdoe Momo (Tibetan dumplings) is strongly to Non-vegetarian. The customer service is excellent and they serve very freshly cooked dishes. You wouldn t be disappointed if you visited Norling Tibetan Restaurant.
Authentic Tibetan fare.
Best restaurant in Toronto. We were looking for a great Hakka place and Norling did not disappoint one bit. Their prices are so low, staff is very friendly and most importantly, the food is phenomenal (you must try their vegetable Manchurian), not one negative thing to say about this place.
I love their Amdo momo, spicy yellow laping & gyuma.
Amdo momos and spicy yellow laping reminds me of back home Nepal cheers guys
The service was good.. The food was great.. The price was awesome..
Haka tibet Chinese restaurant... all about chilly spices. thumb up.
I absolutely LOVE this place. The beef fried amdo momo ($8.99) is MY JAM!!!! I sometimes get the chilli chicken as well ($8.99) and thats also wonderful. I keep wanting to try new things but I just cant stay away from the momo! Im not sure how many times Ive been here, but I wont stop anytime soon!
Good as always.
Great service and good food
Good service and fun place It can get spicy!
Only in Parkdale do we have to high Tibetan Food. Believe that.
