Nice little Momo joint in Parkdale! The momos themselves were delicious, the sauce was good-but-not-lifechanging, the drinks were frosty, and the service was friendly and unobtrusive! Everything was very clean, and the restaurant itself smelled amazing.
Ordered their butter chicken momos, absolutely delicious and so juicy! Tried their thenthuk, which I’ve never had before but it was lacking a bit of flavour. Good portion size though. However, their momos were great and would love to come back to try their fried ones as well.
I am ashamed to say that today was the first time walking into this building. I've lived in this hood for 20 years. I didn't go into previous restaurants located here and Yummy Momo was my first. It certainly won't be our last. The food was soooo good. I hope others discover and support this place. The fried beef chaat Momos were the high point but all the food was solid. Good pricing. We had a bottle of wine ($40) with our lunch. We over ordered and over ate. Thought we would take leftovers home but we stuffed ourselves and ate it all while we were there.
If you're looking for an authentic Nepali momo experience, this is the place for you. We ordered steamed chicken momo and Jhol momo, both of which were flavorful and made us feel like we were dining in Kathmandu. The restaurant has the perfect ambiance. Don't forget to sit on their outdoor patio for an even better experience. The Chole Bhature and butter naan were delicious as well. We also ordered masala tea, which wasn't on the menu, but the server kindly made it for us. To our surprise, the tea was on the house. I highly recommend this place!
Our first time at Yummy Momo and they did not disappoint! Friendly service and great food. We had the chili fries, Szechuan noodles and assorted momos and everything tasted delicious. We got medium spice level and it was a good amount of spice. It felt like we were transported to Tibet. We will be back!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at yummy momo. I ordered some garlic bread as a starter, fried Momos as a main and tried salted tea for the first time. If your only reason for visiting is the garlic bread, I would not fault you, the bread tasted incredible, it was crunchy, and soft(yes, at the same time) and full of flavour 11/10. I did not enjoy the momo's as much, mainly cause the texture wasn't as enjoyable for my buds. The last thing I had was the salted tea, I did not enjoy that at all, but I was so glad i got to introduce my buds to something new! The service was excellent, the waitress was kind ad accommodating to our needs considering it was a novelty for my friend and I. I also like the atmosphere, it felt like the moment when i walked in, I forgot I was in Toronto,
The atmosphere, the food and the service was perfect 10/10. If you’re craving for traditional Tibetan and Indian cuisine you should visit this new restaurant. I’ve visited few times with my friends and family and this place didn’t disappoint me at all. Every dishes I’ve tried were yummy and over my expectation. Honestly, i have had the best Momo’s and chowmein compared to any restaurants in parkdale area. Any yes the price is very reasonable as well. i lived in parkdale for a while, honestly theres so many wonderful tibetan places but today my day was made by yummy momo, it was clean, quiet, and had amazing filling food. the night was cold and after their gyathuk, i was warmed up instantly. our server was very polite and let us enjoy our meals comfortably, replacing our water when we needed, and taking our orders patiently. honestly one of the better restaurant experiences ive had and i will be coming back. please enjoy! Vegetarian options: almost the whole menu had veg options Parking: park down the street on a green p and walk around. parkdales lovely.

Even given the 4.9 stars this place still has to be one of the most underrated places in the city considering it is almost always dead when I visit. As a visitor to Toronto, I dont get to come that often, but the first time I did for breakfast I was blown away by the quality and quantity of food for the price. The bhature is a must try, so crispy and fresh, and all of their curries and sauces are flavourful. Their momos are stuffed to bursting and very tender. While the inside is a little dingy please dont be put off, the lovely people and the amazingfood are worth every second and in the summer sitting on the back patio is a lovely private oasis. Vegetarian options: Pretty much every dish has veggie, potato or tofu substitute options

We were a group of 8-9 people all Vegetarians, even though we sat there just an hour before closing; the owner serving always had a smile whenever she took order, after some waiting food arrived and it was one of the amazing Tibetan cuisine we ever had. loved the ambience, service and overall food it had perfect blend of taste not too oily or not to dry just amazing
DEFINITELY WORTH IT! Come here if you want authentic and fresh Tibetan momos. The fusion momos are one of a kind. We got the Shabhaley (the fried dough with beef inside), classic momos and butter chicken momos, this was more than enough for four hungry people! The service was also excellent and our waitress was friendly and super helpful! I ll definitely be coming back here!

Amazing food and experience! They have unique fusion dishes that I haven t had at any other Tibetan restaurants. Our waitress was so sweet and would bring out things (or come check up on us for drinks, etc.) before we even asked. Great service, will definitely be coming back!

Got the szechuan chili momos and omg they were so good. Also got a mango lassi and the Thenthuk which was delicious hand pulled noodles in a simple but delicious broth. I ll definitely order again

Excellent Tibetan restaurant for momos and a lot of other Tibetan dishes. Came just for the butter chicken momos but everything looked really delicious on the menu. Their chili sauce is great; really nice pepper flavour with a lot of kick right away. Also one of the best mango lassi s I ve ever tried. Quite sweet and very creamy.
Dumplings are awesome filled with flavor and so juicy and we came on a snow storm day so Tibetan soup called Gyathuk was so amazing and warm , overall amazing experience will definitely come back

Thenthuk is a godsend in the cold weather. Much like thupka, this rich soup of vegetables and protein have fresh hand-pulled noodles, taking you close to your roots. Its all love Yummy Momo prides itself in serving fusion cuisine so we also gave Szechuan Chowmein and Chili Paneer a try. Pair it with their special Mango Lassi, and its a legit hearty meal Yummy Momo is a hidden gem, we need and we deserve :)
The food that my family and I have tried at Yummy Momo left a lasting impression and I have added it to my favorite restaurant list. The food has authentic flavour, healthy home made recipes, good portion size and great customer service.
Really delicious momos and Tibetan food and very friendly service. Inexpensive, filling, and a ton of meat and vegetarian options. Vegetarian options: Tons of veg options including most momos as well as some other dishes with paneer or tofu.
Had the breakfast special and lunch special . Affordable price and fills the tummy well. Does the job hits the spot . Yummy Momo doesn t just have momo which are yummy but everything else which they have to offer. Will be back for more . Can t wait to try the other half of the menu .
This is one of the biggest let down in 2023. After seeing all the raving reviews in Google maps, we thought we will make this place our NYE dinner date. The jhol momo was way too tangy. It was as though it was made with tomatillo tomatoes and not the usual tomatoes. There was no other flavor other than the tang in the jhol. Weve had some of the best jhol in the US and in Canada and this was so disappointing. We eventually ate just the Momos without jhol, with the hot sauce which was also not the best hot sauce. The waitress was nice and took the feedback well. She said shell convey it to the chef. The chow mein was the saving grace but the restaurant is so cold that in no time the chow mein got cold. Overall, it was a let down and I hope they can get their jhol right. Their service is also painfully slow. We didnt get our food for half an hour. They are understaffed. Looks like only one waitress was serving all the tables.
Ate at Yummy Momo on the New Year Eve with family and friends. Thank you Yummy Momo for the food that looks delicious/ palatable and tastes Authentic and for the wonderful customer service. Enjoyed to the full Each and Every items ordered and want to make especial mention of Gyuma and Droepa Khatsa . They were yummiest of all. Had the lovely evening eating with people that you adored in life and indulging in yummy and delightful dishes.

We ordered chicken steam momos and we sat for almost one hour and they did not serve us our order!!! The service is really really disappointing! We never ate the momos and had to leave the place because even after waiting for almost an hour, we did not get our order!

Amazing place with friendly staff! True to its name, Dumplings/Momos are the best in the neighborhood served fresh and juicy ! The Shabhaley/beef patty is the just the perfect amount of fried and juicy. We also ordered the Stir Fried vegetables and veg chowmein, which were lip smacking delicious! We had Butter chicken momo, veg steamed momo and chicken lunch special (we ordered one with two naans instead of the regular rice with one naan). All of it was very delicious. This is a newly-opened spot serving traditional Tibetan fare. The food was tasty and the service was courteous and efficient. I particularly enjoyed the Gyuma and the Chilli Paneer.

Great Service and Food
I used to come occaisionally for brunch on weekends during its previous incarnation and I just had Sunday brunch here under the new ownership (place is nicely renovated and atmosphere seems much nicer/cleaner than before). The brunch menu is similar to the previous place (2 huge rotis, channel, alloo and 2 large eggs..served with sweet chai) but I think the food is actually much better (and previous place was good). The prices are VERY reasonable (particularly for brunch or lunch). The service is also very hospitable and attentive, I will definitely come back to try their lunch specials and also want to sample their regular evening menu for dine in or take out..am looking forward to trying their butter and Tandoori chicken dishes with naan! This is another place where Id give a bonus star if Google offered that option, my thanks to the owners/chef and I recommend this over all the other Tibeten restaurants Ive tried in this area and I wish the owners the success they deserve!

Their dropa khatsa is the best in my opinion! their momo slaps hot sauce don t play around so better wash it down with these fresh MANGO LASSI overall food service and cleanliness is great definitely our monthly option
