Leaf Doner in Toronto

Went there to try it out but the place is under renovation and its not updated on google. Wasted 20 minutes driving there and the staff was very rude when I asked them to update the renovation on google.

Order two chicken shawarma with my girlfriend and I found that there are bits and pieces of Charred in the press grill. Bad place to eat, they dont clean the press grill and the oil is black. The grill is charred when they put the shawarma in the press grill to press it there are bits and pieces of Charred. That grill is dirty Those pieces of Charred can cause cancer and as well is not hygienic . This place can be shut down for unhygienic .

Just dont go here. The portions are fine for the price, but the food quality is very poor. Burger buns are terrible cheap white buns, fries are basically inedible. Also seems like almost nothing is fresh, all your food is made way in advance and they just scoop it onto a low quality wrap or bun. The worst quality is that the place has a strong and off-putting smell of cigarettes, it is nauseating and ruins my appetite. Especially in Kensington market, there is no reason to go here.

Amazing fresh delicious food served by the friendliest man, and not to mention super pet friendly. It s rare to walk into a food establishment that s pet friendly, the owner made my husky a serving of chicken shawarma without any charge! Very generous and kind hearted human and pet approved!

This Halal and Kosher spot easily has one of the best -if not best- doner Ive had in North America. Light, soft and succulent beef and chicken choices that come in a wrap, burger and platter styles (rice, fries or salad). The owner (Mira) was an absolute delight; friendly, courteous and attentive. I know Ive found my favorite new go-to spot for a quick bite.

Absolutely terrible terrible. Just ordered a regular sandwich about $15 and the size of my palm. Meat is disgusting and fatty. How does this place have 4.8 stars. It should have 1. I m sorry this is probably the worst sandwich I ever had in Toronto and all over Turkey. Horrible. Taste was just gross gross and I m being honest. Terrible quality save yourself the time and money.

We ordered Antakya Döner, Döner Sandwich, and skender. The gyro was very flavorful and the portions were very generous. Also, they offered us complementary Turkish coffee which was also great.

I am going to be a fair person regarding every thing. We arrived there at around 4 pm. Ordered Doner and Alexander Kebab and fries. They were both kind of cold but taste was good. Fries were hot though. They were out of Ayran (Drink). Doner did not have Rice with it (They were out of it). Soap in the rest room was finished. Staff were friendly though.

Stopped here while walking through the Kensington Market. Its a really nice small restaurant, the food is very affordable and delicious. Havent had a doner kebab this good in a while! The guy serving me was really sweet too, made sure I had all I needed. If youre in the area I recommend stopping here!

Honestly, I was extremely surprised at how great everything was. I saw this place and I was surprised at how low the business was, so my friend and I decided to try it out. The customer service was amazing, the food was even better and they had the cleanest bathroom Ive ever seen at a restaurant. 10/10 experience, will be gatekeeping.

I order Alexander The Great (iskendar) and it was extremely salty. As if it was literally dipped in salt and was served. I had Iskendar before but never was it this salty, not even close. The portion for Yogurt was very little as well.

This place rocks!! The two men I met were awesome, friendly, and great conversation; their service paired well with the amazing food! I will most definetly be coming back, and I 100% recommend to all looking for a price-concious and must-try in Toronto.

In my long search for authentic-tasting, good-quality doner in Toronto, there is finally a place I will happily revisit. Both beef and chicken doners are made with high quality ingredients, they taste great and the owners are extremely friendly. The place is a typical take-out shop, offering limited amount of seating. May not be a place to take your first date but a destination when you feel like good doner.

I fell for the comments and ratings, which is why I was excited to choose this place to eat Iskender. As a Turk far from my country, I had been craving it for a long time, but unfortunately, the dish they offered was far from Iskender. I understand that they didnt have yogurt due to the holiday, so thats why they offered too much garlicky sauce. However, they also didnt include tomato sauce and butter. The meat was very dry and tasteless, and the bread underneath it was dry too. While their portion size was good, when it comes to taste, size doesnt matter. I would give 2 stars, but one of their workers (an older one) understood my unhappiness and tried to make it up. He was nice and kind; thats why I give 3 stars.

Terrible service. We placed our order, paid, and they didnt tell us before there would be a 30+ minute wait. Multiple people who placed their order after us (some larger orders) were served first. Some people came in and said were in a rush so they did their orders before everyone else who came in after them. They then had to take our order again because they lost it. There was a further 10 minute wait, we ended up staying almost 40 minutes for two doners and a puck doner. Completely ridiculous and disorganized, the food was just okay. Not going back.

Order Beef Doners and fries. Beef was dry and oily, and bread the do not make fresh like other turkish places and was cold. Didn t like the fries either. But that s me as I try almost every turkish restaurant in gta and this one didn t meet the expectations.

Dont sleep on this place. Their stuff is seriously bomb. My fiancee doesnt even like shawarma or doner much but even she loved this place. Good portion of nicely seasoned meat throughout the wraps and price is decent.

My mom and I had the absolute best experience here on a random Sunday morning at Kensington! The food is absolutely amazing- the pita bread was fresh and tasted great. Their desert fire sauce absolutely lived up to its name and managed to fell both me and my mom who has been cribbing about nothing being hot enough for her in Canada. The owner, Adam, is an absolute gem and made us feel very welcome. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who likes gyro.

Order tasted like soap

Ordered 2 mix doner wraps off of UBER eats. This was the amount of oil/grease from ONE wrap. The doner tastes very good but it was unfortunately drowning in grease (this was NOT sauce) This place was super good the first time I went, but this is unacceptable. What a shame cause it s super tasty.

The Doners are great, staff is nice and friendly! The location is really clean everytime weve passed by. The chicken here is really good and not super dry which is generally the problem we run into at other locations. Chicken is juicy, ingredients are fresh and the price is fair for Kensington/Downtown! I got the original beef doner and the meat was so delicious, the lady making the food was the sweetest, she had no problem putting extra toppings when asked and theres a lot of meat in the doner. the server was also really nice and reminded me about the student discount which was great!

I unexpectedly came here and I found a really amazing place which I ll come back for sure. Fist of all, I ordered the Montreal steak doner and tasted so good also it is quite big so was great, but what I liked most about this place was the hospitality and service from their staff, they were so friendly and I appreciate that so much. They even got me coffe, it was a perfect and nice visit, so if you re around KM you should come here for sure!

The best fast food....

My order for pickup was just a few minutes late. Staff promptly apologized and offered me a drink while i waited. Were extremely courtes and professional even after I was trying to decline their generosity. It was a nice surprise and thank you to all 3 gentlemen working for their hospitality. We already visit this location and send people here but well be back again sooner.

As a Turk, I went with high hopes. I ordered the Leaf Doner Bowl. There were so few greens in it that it didnt fill half of the bowl. The chicken doner I wanted for topping was very dry and not even 1 cup. The portion was so small that I was surprised when he started packing because I thought he was going to add more ingredients instead of giving me the half-full bowl. For this price, this service does not make sense.
