PLANTA Queen Toronto stays true to signatures like Truffle Udon and Bang Bang Broccoli while expanding plant-powered horizons in the way of sushi, dumplings, sustainably crafted cocktails, and more. PLANTA Queen reimagines and reinvents plant-based dining, providing flavorful (and fun) proof that the power of plants can change the world.
If you've never had good vegan food, you have to try Planta! We had an AMEX dining credit to use and Planta Queen was one of the restaurants on the list, so our party of 4 decided to splurge and give it a try. We made reservations for a Saturday night at 8:30pm and the restaurant itself is huge, but quite busy even at 8:30pm. A little bit of a regret here though, because Sun-Fri after 8:30pm is actually happy hour and you can enjoy discounted food! It's only coincidentally Saturday that they don't have that promotion lol. Planta's Queen location has an Asian Fusion theme, but I believe the Yorkville location is different. A fellow Yelp Elite recommended that location to me so I guess I'll have to try it out! We ordered lots of items so let's break it down: 1) Crispy Brussel Sprouts. This is a December exclusive item and probably my favourite of the evening. I hope they put it on their permanent menu! The sprouts were roasted to perfection and tossed in a sauce that complemented the smokiness perfectly. 2) Ahi Watermelon Nigiri. Supposed to mimic ahi tuna, but replaced with watermelon. I know this is trendy and a common thing that vegetarians/vegans use to replace tuna, but it's definitely not the same. Not much taste with the texture of watermelon on rice is.. not the best. 3) Crispy Gyoza. Just OK - nothing amazing. It does taste heavily of mushrooms. 4) Crab Rangoon Dip. My second favourite appy. The crispiness of the chips and the vegan cheesiness of the dip is insanely good. It can get a bit heavy, but strongly recommend this one! 5) Japanese Sweet Potatoes. Just average - nothing special nor notable. 6) Bao Slider. It's about $7 for just one and it's not really worth the price. The fried mushroom that you get in the bao is also tiny - doesn't feel very proportionate to the size of the bao itself nor the other fillings. I will say the taste is good though. 7) Udon Noodles with Truffle Mushroom Cream. The best out of all the mains. Despite being super creamy, it wasn't heavy at all, probably since it's plant-based. The udon was a bit overcooked and too soft, but taste was perfect. 8) Truffle Miso Ramen. Another December exclusive. We ordered the chick'n katsu to go with it but it wasn't worth the extra cost. The base ramen itself was good. 9) Truffle Fried Rice. The second best main. It does taste a bit like regular fried rice but it isn't soggy nor too crispy which we appreciated. 10) Drinks. Each of us got a drink - I got the matcha latte and it was just alright. I do wish it was sweeter than it was, but making it with oat milk was good! We also got the Chai, Turm It Up (mango & tumeric), and Dragon Power (dragonfruit, ginger, etc) - all of which were just okay. We also got "still water" which was Just Water branded, and it was like $9 for a box lol. It was more expensive than the other drinks we got! Overall service was phenomenal. I believe Simon was our waiter and they explained everything very clearly since it was our groups first time to visit. The music in the restaurant is quite loud though so it was difficult to hear them speak. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very, very dark. I felt like my vision was going blurry the longer I stayed, but definitely very chic and modern! Beware the prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's a given considering the location in Toronto. We spent a little above $60pp after tips by the end of the night but we did order a lot... And the tax-free dining thing started same day, so that was very nice!
I took my beautiful girlfriend here for her birthday as she is vegan. The menu was great, the service was fantastic and the ambience is beautiful. For someone like myself who is not vegetarian nor vegan, I always find myself surprised by how delightful these meals can be. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or not, this is a must try in the city. Check out their happy hour as it’s a very strong menu.
I recently had the pleasure of a romantic lunch with my husband at this location in downtown Toronto, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. We sampled their Firecracker dish and Bang Bang Broccoli, both of which delivered incredible flavors. The Firecracker offered a tantalizing kick that was bold but not overpowering, while the Bang Bang Broccoli was delightfully crispy with a perfectly seasoned sauce. Each bite felt like a well-crafted masterpiece. Beyond the food, the restaurant's atmosphere added a touch of magic to our date. The warm, inviting setting, complete with stylish decor and soft lighting, made it a cozy retreat amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. We felt right at home, lingering to savor each moment. The staff further elevated our experience—they were genuinely friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. Another standout was how well-managed and reasonably priced the place was. It’s rare to find such high-quality vegan cuisine at affordable prices, and the overall value was exceptional. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly, reflecting a keen attention to detail and genuine care for guests’ experiences. For anyone looking to enjoy a memorable vegan meal, whether for a special occasion or a casual outing, I can't recommend this spot enough. Great food, wonderful service, and an ambiance that invites you to stay just a bit longer—it truly has it all.
Planra Queen provides an "okay" service experience, but the food quality truly stands out. The dishes are flavorful, with a good variety to choose from, making it worth the visit despite the average service. If you’re after delicious food and can overlook service, it’s a solid choice.
It was Amazing as always! Great atmosphere and food! Must visit and should be recommended always. The Volcano sushi along with Dan Dan Noodles, Bao Slider and Bang bang Broccoli is an all timer. Will visit again soon!
An Asian fusion all-vegan restaurant that will take your taste buds to the next level! Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Green Dragon Roll and Cold Peanut Noodles. Both were delicious! For dessert, I ordered the Matcha Cheesecake to go (pictured is my friends Chocolate Brownie). Everything was so yummy and I would love to come again.
Big cozy atmosphere. Arrived at 815pm on a Monday night, it said on google maps it closes at 9pm but we left at 9:20pm with half the restaurant full and people entering the place so I’m not sure when they actually close. Everything is plant based. As a meat eater, I couldn’t tell. Very delicious food. The big cookie is rich but delicious. Big enough to share with 2 people.
Surprisingly!! Never go wrong with this special offer vegan Asian inspired restaurant. I was literally confused at the beginning about their menus concept and unsure if it vegan or not. Recommended dish: Dan Dan Noodle The prices are affordable for this fine dining vegan restaurant located in Downtown Toronto. I actually loved from the first time.
The food is Delicious! The atmosphere is very chic! The staff are friendly and efficient!
Loved, loved and loved it! The food was worth the hype and the price. Vegan lovers should try it atleast once
This place changed my perspective on vegan food!
Absolutely love this place but I waited over 20 mins for my take out order that I have booked 3 days in advance :( Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan
I had their famous broccoli and truffle udon. And let me tell you .I was pleasantly shocked how tasty the food was. I thought I ll be still hungry but the portions are huge . I will definitely come back again Omg!! We had a staff dinner here tonight and everything especially the steak was crazy good! They have a very good list of non alcoholic cocktails I loved everything! My favourite restaurant! Nico thank you for great service! Very professional and friendly.
I absolutely love this restaurant! If you re a fan of Asian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I recently tried the mushroom udon, and it was sooo good very flavorful and satisfying. It s a great spot for both vegans and non-vegans alike. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan
Very nice spot with great vegan food! Love that they are innovative and keep adapting the menu so theres something new and exciting to try. The space is also very beautiful! Most of the food have been a hit here with the exception of the gyozas and some sushi options. Vegetarian options: All vegan Kid-friendliness: Feels more like an adult environment and I have rarely seen kids dining here.
It was our first time eating at a vegan restaurant & we loved everything. We over-ordered the food bc we wanted to try so many items. Cocktails 5/5 (loved dragon tini) Mocktails 4/5 (my husband loved not-a-rita but didn t like the other one too much) Firecracker wings 4/5 Bang bang broccoli 5/5 (a must try) Thai lettuce wraps 4/5 Crispy gyoza 5/5 Also, the ambience & staff were super nice. Definitely going back!!
This place is restrosan. dont respect their work
Great as every other Planta!
Such a great experience! Our host was so friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. The food is tasty and the bathroom is stunning and so clean!!! Will definitely eat here again and again
This place is hit and miss. We went to this place 3 times in last 6 months. Our visit was disappointing. First time we loved everything we order except dumplings because they came cold and I don t enjoy cold food. Sushi was amazing and also the sweet potato dish. We loved it so much that we went again especially to eat Avocado sushi because my 4 year old daughter loved it so much too. That time they also brought out volcano sushi. Which was amazing. 3rd time we went to eat especially volcano sushi but that was disappointing. It did not taste like how it tasted on our 2nd visit. Service was good all 3 times. They were willing to replace the dish whenever the food didn t taste the same. Amazing vibe. Will we go again, not sure because food is hit and miss.
Very expensive for moderate flavour and small portions. As a non vegan, I do not recommend.
Our dinner reservation was for 5:30 PM for approximately 12 people. There was 30 minutes remaining for their happy hour offering of food and beverages. The server spent most of that 30 minutes collecting drink, appetizers, and food orders, plus fill up all the water glasses which brought the time close to 6:00 PM. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks after 6 pm. Our main courses arrived at the same time that the drinks arrived. While all this happened very quickly, which felt like a family style dinner, which is not what we had asked, as it gave us the hint that we are being rushed by having everything served all at once. Because of the delay, we inquired on more of the happy hour food options only to be told happy hour was finished. We had to ask for an exception twice because of the delay and confusion in the delivery of all of our order items. After the manager agreed to honour some of the happy hour exception, the server made a point of reminding us twice that this was an exception The item was only $12 for a group of 12 that they already applied the auto-grat on us to the table. As well, the server was very clear that individual bills would not be provided. She would only be willing to provide equal bills up to four. For a restaurant of this size, as well as given the quality of modernization to the space, and the very expensive pricing of their food items, it was surprising to see that a restaurant of this quality could not extend individual billing. We agreed to take one bill and have one person pay for everything. After leaving the restaurant, we realized that they applied their auto-grat of 18% on the after tax amount and not on the subtotal. Acceptable auto-grat practice is to put it on the subtotal and not on the after tax total. As much as I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, there was a lot of customer service practises lacking. I feel a restaurant that prides itself on healthy food, all vegan and (or vegetarian) needs to be consistent when it comes to a customer service, which I found lacking at this restaurant.
Amazing place to eat for both vegans and any other! The flavours are amazing and the staff are great. They brought us a birthday cookie.
Excellent food, atmosphere and staff! Had the best vegetarian sushi roll ever, the spicy tuna hand roll. Food
Service was amazing. Very fast, friendly, and warm. Food was impeccable. I highly recommend the Truffle Fried Rice Was an absolute 10/10
Couldn t believe this food was vegan. It was delicious. Heard so much about this place, had to give it a try so I drove down from Durham Region. The food was exceptional. We tried many dishes including the Bang Bang Broccoli, Crispy Gyoza, Torched and Pressed Sushi, Chilli Garlic Tofu, Miso Ramen Noodles. They were all amazing, my fav was the Sushi and the Bang Bang Broccoli. The Service was really good, our server was always checking in and made some great recommendations. The ambiance in this place is nice. It was really crowded and a bit loud but that can be expected on a Saturday night. Check this place out one you won t regret it.
The good: - bangbang broccoli was amazing! - cocktails and cider were good The bad: - dandan noodles were very mediocre and a bit bland. - We had to wait like 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. The server said wed get it any second, then we waited 10 minutes, then he said itll be out any second again, then we waited another 10 minutes to get the food. The restaurant wasnt extremely busy either, just felt like oversight Dietary restrictions: The staff was mindful about any dietary restrictions
This is a special place for our family, so we save it for special occasions or when we want a high-end experience. Everything we have ever ordered has been exceptional, from the 1000 layer potatoes, to the bang bang brocoli to the dragon roll, to the mushroom udon noodles... yhe drinks are gorgeous and the atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxed & upscale meal. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly. A definite 20 out of 10 :)
Totally recommend. Nice to have so many options on the menu for a vegetarian. Meat eating partner also enjoyed the food and flavours. Great cocktails. Will definitely be visiting again before I leave Toronto.
It definitely met the expections. Delicious and fresh food. Cocktails are great too!
My friend and I stopped in and shared a few dishes during happy hour. There were so many interesting things to try, and everything we had was delicious. The Spicy Tuna Hand Roll was our absolute favorite.
As a non vegan, non vegetarian person I thought the food was tasty, really liked the cocktail (lychee, gin). The restaurant is beautiful. Service was excellent.
I recently visited Planta Queen in Toronto, and while I was excited to try this place, the experience was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. We ordered a variety of dishes to get a taste of the menu, but the food was hit or miss. The truffle rice, for instance, was a real letdown it was overly salty and very oily, which masked the truffle flavor we were hoping for. The other dishes we ordered were the gyoza, crispy rice, sweet potatoes, and tuna hand roll. These were decent, but none of them really stood out as exceptional. The drinks were pretty average, though the hot cider was a nice touch warm and spiced well. However, the portion was small, and to top it off, the waiter accidentally spilled some of it before it even reached the table. Overall, it was a lukewarm experience. With a few improvements, Planta Queen could definitely be a standout spot, but for now, it feels like it s not quite hitting the mark.
Best spot for Vegan Food
Best vegan food I ve had in 5 years of veganism - plus the best service :) I don t know how anyone can dislike this spot, every course was better than the one before. I also think that the prices are really good for what you get Food
Decent dinner. Ordered a few items off their happy hour menu on a weekday night. The Japanese sweet potato was delicious! Nice miso flavour. I did feel like the portion was smaller than their regular portion (having seen many photos online), so that was disappointing and didnt feel like a happy hour special. Their Udon Noodles was the star for me. So creamy (I was told they used coconut) with a truffle undertone! The GF noodles at request were flatter, long noodles; it felt like rice noodles, but still soaked up the sauce well. Unfortunately, we did feel rushed because we had finished our food/drinks and shortly after were brought our bills and the card machine. The restaurant was not even 70% full on a Monday night at 6:30, and we had only been dining for 1 hour. It left a sour note that we couldnt just sit and chat for a bit. We felt pressured to pay and go. Luckily, the server was nice enough to take a photo for us (as people who haven t seen each other in years). This is not the place to comfortably catch up, but still good for the food. Ample water top ups. A lady bringing the food knocked my tongs for my dish on the floor, but it was rectified quickly and with apologies. Dark and beautiful ambiance inside with some plant decor. Glad I tried Planta Queen during my trip to the city, but may try some other plant-based places before a return!
OH MY GOD. Yes indeed. They are too good at everything. There was a delay of 15 min to be seated and eventually we were given a table in a small rec room (like) which was changed to the main hall upon request. We ordered the cold peanut noodles, bang bang broccoli, Dan Dan noodles, tofu stir fry and corn dumplings. Everything was super delicious. The corn dumplings were not my favourite but their extensive menu sure needs multiple visits. The service was on par with not being too invasive. Would absolutely go back again and recommend to others.
Different and interesting
Stumbled across Planta while wandering the city. We are SO glad we did! One of the best veggie spots I ve been to and probably a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!
I visited Planta Queen for a social gathering to take advantage of their Maki Mondays ($9 maki rolls, or $29 for unlimited maki rolls), and Happy Hour (Mon-Thurs 4 pm - 6 pm, & 8:30 pm - close) specials. The Queen location offers an asian fusion plant-based menu, with a wide selection of sushi rolls, small plates, salads, and bowls, in addition to rice and noodle dishes. The dishes we tried were either a hit or miss here, so knowing the right dishes to order will make a difference to your dining experience. I thought the maki rolls here were extremely mediorce, while I enjoyed the Firecracker Wings (fried cauliflower) and the Pad Thai Slaw. This location has chic, modern decor, with a bit of an upscale feel. The staff here were friendly and accommodating. I had a fly land on one the hand rolls I ordered, and had asked our server to take it away when she came to clear some empty plates. She also did not charge me for the hand roll when we asked for the bill which was very much appreciated, and reflected great customer service.
Great service and fantastic food, first time at this location and trying their new menu. Being vegetarian never tasted better, my husband is not even vegetarian and he also fell in love with their food. Well done!
Very tasty food, Broccoli fantastic, very friendly and polite staff. Would always go back when in Toronto
We were here for a celebratory dinner. We have loved the Yorkville location, and thought we would try this location this time. We had reservations, so we were seated almost instantly. We started off with the Unagi Eggplant and the Spicy Tuna roll. We followed that with the Potato Dumplings and General Lees Cauliflower. All these items were new yet familiar and filling and quite tasty. Why didnt I give it 5* ? The lemon Custard dessert was extremely bitter and threw our palette off completely. We were debating this and the Niagara Apples and opted to try out a newer flavour. First spoon in, and we immediately wished we hadnt gotten this. We were also not made aware of the availability of rice along with the Cauliflower but as to whose fault this is, it is kinda 50-50 between them and us. Parking is best at a nearby location and cheaper on the weekends. We would definitely visit again, but stay far away from this dessert. Edit: Nov 2024 We changed up our choices for what we ordered. Loved everything here. Just a note, their Espresso Martini isnt great, and tastes pretty diluted. We would definitely visit again
One day people will admit that this restaurant is worth skipping. Chinese food that tastes like it was put through a dishwasher before it was served. Bland, poorly cooked, and expensive.
Loved the place, loved the food! It was similar to NYC location, menu is exactly the same. We booked online and had a reservation when we reached the place. Still I was seated in the worst possible area which was not fun. Rest everything was 10/10. The brought out one of our dish wrong (without mushrooms) which was replaced. Surprisingly they didn t charge us for it, wow! Canada is awesome, so polite and nice! Recommendations: bang bang broccoli , Dan Dan noodles , general D s cauliflower Vegetarian options: Fully vegan restaurant
Food was great, service was lovely, but the space is kinda dark and unnecessarily loud. Theres a space with windows, so why not use that?!?
Food was pretty decent for a vegetarian restaurant. Lots of unique, creative dishes.. slightly overpriced and small portions, you can tell they are trying to maximize profit. Service was not the greatest when I went, but I m sure it s not like that all the time.. atmosphere is pretty nice in the back dining room, but the bar area is far too corporate and cold. Looking for my taste however, overall it was pretty good. I don t know if I would be going back there anytime soon.
Vegetarian options: Top tier vegan food. Nothing else even comes close to comparing. My partner is not vegan and says the dragon roll and torch and pressed are the best sushi rolls anywhere. Food
Excellent experience! The food was delicious, and the service was great. The only negative is the price, but its well worth the food. I highly recommend PLANTA Queen.
Planta is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying vegan meal. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From hearty mains to mouthwatering appetizers, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The service was prompt and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. If youre in the area, be sure to check it out!.
One of the best restaurants in town! They are so creative in creating their dishes with vegan ingredients. Would 100% recommend for anyone who loves good food (not for just vegans!)
The best plant-based restaurant in Toronto hands down!!! Must haves are the Cold Sesame Peanut Noodles, the 1,000 Layer Crispy Potatoes, the Torched and Pressed Avocado Sushi, the Chinese Chick n Salad, and the Truffle Fried Rice. The service was impeccable and what s not to love about the cool vibe and stunning decor.
The restaurant vibe is great but food in terms of vegetarians is just ok. But I like its team and its iron teapot. Plus service is great.
We went to the Queen/Entertainment district location before a show so it was during happy hour. We ordered the Chickn Fried mushrooms from the happy hour menu and the Bao sliders, bang bang broccoli and crab rangoon dip from the regular dinner menu. The food at Planta is always good. I must admit I wasnt super fond of the crab rangoon dip but thats likely because I really dont enjoy non dairy cheese so should have known better. Our server was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant, albeit very large is quite cozy.
Got to try Planta Queen for the first time after hearing rave comments about it with friends. It was really good though quite pricey. Our server was great. He helped me pick out my small plates and describe the portions since I wasnt able to store any leftovers during the drive back the Michigan after. I filled up an food and lattes that had caffeine Dishes: - Bang Bang Broccoli - Spicy Tuna Roll - 1,000 Layer Crispy Potatoes - Portobello Nigiri - Bao Slider - Crispy Rice - Matcha Latte - Salted Maple Macchiato (not pictured) Vegetarian options: Vegan options
This planta location is mush larger & spacious than the Yorkville one. Darker interior, more modern & much more seating. The menu is more geared towards Asian so don t expect to see any pasta dishes or the eggplant parm like at the Yorkville location. However I was pleasantly surprised to see the cauliflower tots on this menu after finding out they d been discontinued from the other location. We ordered a bunch of entrees , all of which were amazing. Thanks for putting a large mirror in the ladies bathroom, you know how we girls love our selfies lol . The coconut cream pie was sooo good , highly recommend it :). The staff was very kind & attentive as well. Parking wasn t the easiest but if you re ok to walk 2 blocks, there s an underground lot for $15. Street parking is available too if you re lucky enough to get it. Can t wait to go back.
Easily my favourite restaurant in the city! Thank you to everyone at Planta Queen for your consideration of my gluten allergy - it will never be forgotten!!
Excellent all-around, friendly staff, warm decor, tasty dishes. Highly recommend the truffle fried rice.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing plant based food. Absolutely love the food here and I keep coming back. 10/10 definitely recommend Vegetarian options: All plant based
Delicious! Came here with our baby. They had a high chair for her and were very accommodating. Food was delicious! One of our favorite places we visited in Toronto. EXPENSIVE but worth it.
Spectacular. This place left me speechless. One of the most delicious places I ve been
Its one of the best vegan places in toronto! The combinations of the ingredients used are unique. I strongly recommend the udon noodles and the aubergine nigiri. The service is friendly and quick. Also they have a broad selection of non-alcoholic drinks which is very creative Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan and theres plenty of gluten free options
Amazing vegan restaurant with delicious food and excellent service! I got a beer and the General Ds cauliflower. The food was incredible - the vegetables went together really well and the portion size was also really good. Really courteous service to top it off.
Holy moly this food is good. All vegan. Try all the nigiri. The eggplant unagi nigiri was amazing. All the food was delicious - highly recommend eating everything. Upbeat atmosphere and plenty of space.
We ordered four dishes and two cocktails - nothing impressive for the palate. We were deeply disappointed after the first bite of the thousand layer potatoes. Such nice presentation, poorly executed dish. It was dry throughout. If you wonder how it tastes, just imagine stuffing a boiled potato in your mouth. Then we had truffle cauliflower tater tots - a few fried balls on a plate is all we didn t even take a picture of it. No truffle taste at all, weird spices seasoning, much like a mashed potatoes croquettes. The only edible dish was the bao slider, small portion though. Last we had truffle fried rice, very oily. Again, absence of truffles, unlike the pictures we ve seen on Google. The cocktails also just taste like sprites. We had sake to me and a thai chili infused cocktail which you wouldn t be able to tell if it is not listed in the description. Overall very disappointing meal experience. Will definitely not recommend it to anyone vegetarian or not.
Yummy dinner before the opera. All vegetarian. We had bang bang broccoli , crispy gyoza, and Dan Dan noodles. All good.
Big fan of Planta Queen! Their Bang Bang Broccoli, Dragon rolls & Bao sliders are amazing! It is worry free dining experience for vegetarians and vegans
Amazing vegetarian dishes! The service was amazing and the atmosphere matches that as well. I wish there were more vegan/vegetarian inspired dishes rather than dishes that were adapted from meat/fish based dishes.
Love - Love - Love Healthy, yummy amazing food at Planta Queen, great atmosphere, wonderful location and the service is great. Melanie was wonderful. Thank you Planta keep it up Vegetarian options: All plant based and delicious. The crispy rice is amazing.
We got a giftcard for Planta as an engagement present and we were blown away by the service. Our giftcard was actually accidentally bought for the American Planta locations, but the manager Marisa worked hard to ensure we were still able to pay for our meal via giftcard. Thank you to everyone that served us, we had a great night!
Please bring back your lasagna.. it was delicious and I specifically came back for it! Was disappointed that it was taken out of the menu.
My husband and I were so excited to try this place but this restaurant was such a disappointment. We ordered the bao slider which was fine but too small for the price. We also got Dan Dan noodles and Singapore noodles which were really bad 1/10. Both noodles were so overcooked and the taste was just not there. The Singapore noodles were tangy in a bad way. Nothing stood out and I felt like I overpaid for an extremely below average meal. Wouldn t recommend anyone to go there. **Updated Review 31st Aug** After sharing my initial experience at this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt and thoughtful response. They reached out to me directly to better understand my feedback, which shows how committed they are to improving their service and ensuring customer satisfaction. While my first visit wasn t great, their attentiveness and willingness to listen speak volumes about their dedication to their customers. I appreciate the effort they re making to enhance the dining experience, and I hope my next visit will be more enjoyable.
It was great to visit there. Bang bang broccoli was best.. everything was amazing the staff and service. Wil definitely visit again. Thank you
I ve been dying to try Planta for ages and decided to go for my birthday. The crab dip was amazing but overall the firecracker roll was bland and not spicey. Nigiri was yummy! Chili garlic tofu was also bland . For the price it really should come with rice or noodles. Lack of protein options for vegans. If you want a better vegan sushi experience try Sushi Momo in Montreal.
So good! Such great flavors and great Happy hour deals
Delicious vegan food
It was a really great dine in experience.. everything is done to order using fresh ingredients. Very tasty vegan food. I especially liked the Chinese ChickN Salad and the Dan Dan noodles..
Great food. Even better Ambience. They need to work on their serving size. We had Crispy Gyoza Dumplings and Bao Slider.
I had the volcano roll. Food was tasty and waiter did a good job. It was so noisy and dark in the restaurant. Vegetarian options: The menu is 100% plant based. Dietary restrictions: Waiter asked us if we had any when he took our order. Seemed like they were able to work around some restrictions. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ground level which should be good for wheelchairs, make sure to make a reservation and ask for a spot that is accessible though.
My favourite vegan restaurant in Toronto. My last visit was for Sunday brunch. Everything was delicious with portions that satisfied. See photos. Everyone Ive brought here loves the food, even the carnivores.
Took a long time for our table to be served, the food was ok, but not worth the prices. Left feeling hungry. Much bigger fan of the other planta locations in Toronto where I feel the food tastes more in line with what youre paying for.
Love love the truffle fried rice
Absolutely best vegan and plant-based place in downtown Toronto. Cool design, very fast service, the servers are also super nice and make great suggestions. EVERYTHING ive tried here is amazing. The Big cookie is really big. cant recommend this place enough. Vegetarian options: all menu is plant-based
A great restaurant to (re)discover vegan cuisine. The dishes are excellent! We loved the volcano roll, the portobello nigiri, the spicy tuna hand roll and the wok chinese chickn salad. I would have liked to have dishes that were a little more balanced with vegan proteins. The decor is neat, but the place is a little dark in the evening. The service was very good and the waiter gave good advice. There are many gluten free options.
The food is excellent! Usually one of my spots while visiting Toronto. I will say the desserts are definitely lacking. Big cookie had a big flour feel. Cocktails and food are great though! Happy hour is worth it
This restaurant left me amazingly amazed!!! Such a wonderful experience be it the ambience, service and food! Loved every bite of every food we ordered. My favorite of the lot was the Bao, I have never had an vegan Bao that tasted so good. Being a vegetarian my whole life, this place left me so happy to have tasted some well crafted dishes and the menu. They truly celebrate the plant based food and show that vegetables can be so flavourful. I will be revisiting for sure. Loved: Bao sliders, Bang Bang Broccoli, Firecracker roll, Sandwich Vegetarian options: Entire menu is plant based
Their bang bang broccoli is my favourite!
Great vegan food in a stylish place. The cocktails are less exciting. With some decoration, it would make it a nicer pleasure for the eye, but the food is delicious. A winner.
I had an incredible experience at Planta! The food was absolutely amazing fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. The service was equally impressive, with a friendly and attentive staff that made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance added to the overall experience, offering a calm and cozy vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious vegan dining experience!
The absolute best vegan restaurant in my opinion. I never miss meat here and the craftsmanship is top notch!
Am I the only one who doesn t get what all the hype is about with this restaurant? Having lived in South East Asia, this was probably some of the worst Asian food Ive had. We went here for my wife s birthday, and the experience was disappointing. The summer rolls were falling apart and completely bland. The crispy dumplings were just okay, and the spicy tuna roll was underwhelming. The truffle fried rice lacked any depth of flavor, and the Singapore noodles were overloaded with curry powder, making them practically inedible. Honestly, I dont understand the rave reviews.
Excellent plant based spot! I have a nut allergy and am gluten free and they were easily able to accommodate. Every dish they bring you they announce that it s free from your allergens. Service was excellent and the food was insanely delicious. The bang bang broccoli with a substitution of sweet chili sauce was amazing. They pulled off a nut free gluten free matcha cheesecake that was perfection. One of the best restaurants I ve been to in Toronto.
Enjoyed the food, but the service was terrible and I wont be recommending this restaurant to anyone. We asked to change tables (when the restaurant was mostly empty) and youd think wed asked to dine in the kitchen the way the server reacted. No follow-up queries re: drinks or dessert - even though the server was aware we were there for a birthday celebration. We also noticed that the server was very personable with other tables but much more curt with us. All in all, we left with a bitter taste in our mouth and no desire to return. Do better, Planta.
Loved everything about this place. Food was excellent though i did find a lot of dishes heavy. Still, fantastic concept, interior, service and dishes.
Wonderful venue, tremendous food. Enjoyed our visit enormously.
I had literally the best meal of my life here during a trip to Toronto. It was a udon dish with truffle cream. Everything about it was perfect and I could not believe such flavors existed. Highly recommend this place, wish I was rich and could eat there every day!
Beautiful dine in experience with a nice ambiance. The food was good and delicious. Service was good as well and Ill definitely be back.
Amazing vegan option 1 of my favourite restaurants in Toronto ! Food
Amazing service, with incredible food. They also have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
I just wanted to give a heart felt thank you to all the lovely staff here, I took my partner here for a nice date and was so completely thrilled by the service as well as the food! We were offered our choice of seating right away by the host and we re quickly shown to a beautiful table at the centre of the restaurant. Our server Nick was so incredibly kind and patient with us while we looked over the menu and had perfect timing checking back in with us and making sure our glasses were always filled. The selection of wine and beer were very classy and I can promise you you ll find something that suits your tastes. I ordered the chilli garlic tofu and my boyfriend got the general D s cauliflower along with a Sapporo and a Pinot Grigio for our drinks, when I say the portion sizes were perfect I truly mean it, both of us could have easily split our orders between the two of us and had plenty leftover so I recommend sharing the entrees if you aren t a heavy eater. The food was delicious, incredibly well seasoned and fresh, the plating was deliberate and delicate while still feeling hearty. The sauce of the chilli garlic tofu blew me away and the mix of fresh vegetables were all perfectly harmonious and complimented each other very well. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful inside, dim lighting to create an atmosphere while still being bright enough for me to admire how lovely my date looked. The staff are all so kind and helpful and I genuinely could not have had a better experience. I hope to make eating here a regular occurrence in mine and my partner s relationship and I cannot wait to get a chance to try the rest of the menu. 5 stars! 5 stars! 5 stars! Thank you all again for making our night so special and taking care of us so well! Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly! My partner doesn t eat any meat so this place is perfect for someone looking for a lot of options rather than being stuck with the few vegetarian options that other restaurants offer. For those who are not vegetarian or vegan you will still find endless dishes that you will love! Dietary restrictions: My partner has allergies to the entire mint family and our server Nick was immediately understanding and assured us that he would inform the chefs, and of course there were no issues at all!
Unquestionably the best vegan restaurant in all of Toronto. With a Happy hour M-F from 3-6pm featuring delicious bites and very reasonable prices, this is absolutely my go to spot for a nice dinner. Service is always great, the food always leaves you thinking about booking your next reservation. I PLANTA! Vegetarian options: It s a vegan restaurant! Dietary restrictions: They ask you about your allergies before you order.
Good plants
Dietary restrictions: Amazing celiac safe options Food
Wonderful place to have a lovely dinner! My husband and I came to celebrate something, and the service was so kind and friendly. We ve previously been to Planta in Yorkville, which has more of an Italian-inspired cuisine. Here, the focus is more on Asian flavors, which are also delicious! We tried the starters of fried broccoli and sweet potatoes, followed by two main dishes: Thai lettuce wraps and bok choy with mushrooms. Everything was delicious and fresh. I m amazed at how they can create such wonderful plant-based dishes. We visited on a Wednesday when they had a promotion: wine at half the original price. I loved it, and we ll definitely come back! Vegetarian options: Everything is plant based
Absolutely love it! The food, the service, the ambience, couldn t have asked for more plus getting the best Asian food which I never found in an all exclusive vegan. They will be my GO TO for sure. Dietary restrictions: So many options for GF
Second time here, I was in the city for the bankSy Art show Planta is brilliant as usual. Food comes quick, fresh, well plated. Staff is prompt and polite. Love the watermelon nigiri. Such an assault on the senses in the best of ways. Also, cant go wrong with the Bang Bang Broccoli. Love bringing my friends here to break their usual dining out food habits.
I dont have a single photo thats a true sign of how much I was savouring every moment of flavour! We visited as a group of four, with me being the only plant-based eater, while the rest were definite carnivores. The decor was stunning, setting the stage for a fantastic dining experience. We decided to order a selection of dishes to share, and we were in absolute heaven! The two standout winners were the Udon Noodles with truffle mushroom cream and the Dragon Rolls. They were so delicious that we had to order more! The cocktails were also mixed to perfection, adding to the overall experience. I still find myself dreaming about the food here when is Planta going to branch out to the UK? I need one now :)
We celebrated my birthday with an amazing dinner at PLANTA on Queen! We had a group and decided to share/sample lots of different items on the menu- every single dish was delicious! I can t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
Best Vegetarian food in the town. So many options. Great ambience
Best vegan sushi I ve ever had! We hadn t made a reservation but were sat within 10 minutes and all the staff were really friendly. We had a few different sushi but the spicy tuna rolls were a definite highlight as well as the eggplant rolls!
Planta is not a great vegan restaurant, it is just a great restaurant. - was the tagline my friend used to lure me to Planta. I couldn t believe a restaurant could be good without providing any real food . Boy was I wrong. Planta is a phenomenal restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing and the drinks are delicious. It feels on the slightly more expensive side though, with the average dish (which is meant to be tapas-like in size) sitting at about $15. The service is just fine, nothing spectacular. We would be ignored for a long time before being checked on, but then when we do get checked on, the server was knowledgeable, kind, and full of great suggestions. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone interested in good food.
Went there for a friend birthday dinner. Food was good, drinks were nice but the service from Nick was exceptional. Would recommend all the place for sure and dont forget to ask for Nick.
Beyond excellent service! Delicious food
Try the bang bang broccoli
Planta Queen truly stands out as a gem for those with specific dietary needs, offering a diverse and exciting vegan menu. The menu is blooming with options, promising something for everyone. I had the pleasure of trying the Bao Slider with chickn fried mushroom and pickled cucumber, which was a flavor-packed delight. The 1,000 Laver Crispy Potatoes topped with caviar and sour cream were a unique and indulgent treat, while the torched and pressed avocado with miso provided a satisfying umami burst. The Unagi Eggplant Nigiri and Truffle Udon showcased the creativity and skill of the chefs, delivering complex flavors and textures that left me craving more. Aside from the fantastic food options, the staff at Planta Queen were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding to the great ambiance of the restaurant. The fast service and attention to detail further enhanced my dining experience, making it a memorable one. Planta Queen exceeded my expectations with its creative and delicious vegan offerings, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you have specific dietary needs or simply enjoy flavorful plant-based dishes, Planta Queen is a must-visit destination for a truly delightful dining experience. There are planty to choose from! Vegetarian options: Completely plant based Dietary restrictions: Allium free Parking: Difficult to find Wheelchair accessibility: Some areas in the restaurant would be difficult to access
Have a friend who thinks vegetarian food is boring? Bring them here and prove them wrong! Really nice food and lots of gluten free options as well!
Nice food with services
The concept of this restaurant is very unique. Everything tasted amazing! Sat near the kitchen so it was awesome to see the chefs in action doing what they love! Tried multiple sushi dishes and they were all delicious. A must try even if you are not vegetarian!
Such a beautiful restaurant with great vegan food! Everything we tried was fresh, delicious and full of flavor. Our server was friendly and made some great recommendations, specially the Bang Bang Broccoli. The sauce on the broccoli was similar to a Dan Dan noodle sauce and was so craveable. We also tried the Unagi eggplant nigiri, Ahi watermelon nigiri, Truffle fried rice and the Singapore noodles. I d say the Unagi eggplant was my favorite during lunch, as it had a lovely smoky flavor. Also, I m usually not the biggest fan of Singapore style noodles (my husband s order) but this was by far the best Singapore noodle I ve ever tried and actually enjoyed. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Our server informed us that there are locations in California too (where we re from), so that s exciting!
Beautiful place. Best food I have ever had. Try the Bang bang broccoli , super delicious. The chocolate Brownie was to die for. Very friendly staff great environment
We visited Toronto for our anniversary. When traveling, finding the best plant based restaurants is the top priority for us. My husband has many allergies and food sensitivities, which makes finding restaurants that we can both eat at very difficult. Typically, Asian restaurants are crossed off our list because of the heavy use of soy and legumes. Although this was Asian Fusion, we decided to give it a try anyway. Entering the restaurant, we noticed it was extremely loud. The music was at a decent level but the place buzzed with chatter, laughter and clinking dishes/silverware. Its not a place for a quiet dinner but more of a fun date night or girls night out. We were pleasantly greeted and seated at our reservation time. Simon was our server and he came over quickly after we had been seated. He asked about allergies and we were so grateful for the help in navigating the menu. After learning of my husbands allergies, he took the menu to the chef and had all of the foods, that were not able to be altered, crossed off. The others could have the allergens removed without sacrificing the construction or taste. When the food was brought out, it was introduced to us as allergen-free or this has allergens. We didnt have to guess which dishes were his since we did choose a couple of the same items. We have never had such relief when ordering food at ANY restaurant that weve eaten at! Theres usually always a question of whether there are allergens in them. My husbands allergies dont present as an allergic reaction but they cause an invisible sickness that chips away at his health. Therefore, its very important that we tread carefully. We are so grateful to have experienced dining at PLANTA Queen in Toronto. Also, we watched Simon work the room effortlessly, giving each patron the best service with a smile. He looks as though he could do so in his sleep.
The food was very delicious and had a unique taste to it. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan aspect to it.
One of my favourite spots in the city! I take anyone from out of town or new to planta here and it wows me and guests every time. The food is always delicious, and filling. Customer service especially with Kayla was easy beyond any of my expectations. Very kind, thoughtful and attentive. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes tasty food, and a great vibe
Delicious and light food. Something new on the menu every time I go. I had to take pauses between bites to appreciate the flavors. 4 times in 3 days I travelled a long distance to enjoy the PlantaQueen experience. Vegetarian options: Fully vegan restaurant so obviously good for vegetarians also.
Wonderful food, ambience and service. So thrilled to see a plant-based restaurant of this calabar in the heart of Toronto. Cant wait to go back!! Vegetarian options: Fully plant-based menu
Love Love Love this place since it is completely Vegan. Beautiful décor & perfect plant powered dating atmosphere :). Though I wish they serve more oil-free & gluten-free or White Flour free dishes. I am big fan of sushi, best ever creative sushi in Toronto. I love them so much that i indulge them quite often. I highly recommend them. Wish I could give them 10 stars.. just love this place. The best part is the menu, they keep on introducing new dishes such are amazing. Sushis are the best, monthly desserts are yummylicious. Love the staff, specially Nik, he is the best. I have been there for almost 10-15 times and love it. Highly recommend this place.
Went here on a Saturday afternoon for my besties birthday celebration, have to say I was presently surprised (Im a meat eater). The ambience & food were fantastic. Highly recommend the bang bang broccoli(I think that s the name basically fried like broccoli) & the stir fried rice dish along with the tumeric/orange juice drink was very flavourful..
It was the best restaurant experience I ve had in a while!! The food was so delicious!
Fantastic Vegan dining with innovative and interesting dishes.
We had a lovely afternoon at Planta, food was amazing and the ambiance/decor was great. Our waiter Ben was absolutely wonderful, he was very professional, friendly, attentive and caring, he is a credit to Planta.
Amazing. I cant say enough good things about this place. Everything on the menu is delicious. Favorites are the spicy tuna roll, creamy udon noodles, and tofu with bok choi. Im an omnivore and I would pick this over all kinds of meat options any day. A great restaurant to exhibit the full power of what vegan food can be. I wish the head chef would put out a cookbook. Solid value too, for the location and general fanciness. A+
Some of the best vegan food I ve ever had!
Delicious vegan options here
Great service, recipes and atmosphere.
Had a quick stop here during their happy hour. Service was quick and atmosphere is beautiful. Enjoyed the firecracker wings (cauliflower) and a spicy tuna roll, dragon roll and firecracker roll. The last two were definitely our favourites. Hoping next time can enjoy some of their noodle and wok dishes.
I went there on Monday, and they had a special offer on sushi. I tried the caviar crunch roll, rainbow roll, and California roll; they were all delicious. I also ordered spinach dumplings, a bao slider, 1000 layer potato, udon noodles, and a waffle. The udon noodles were delicious and filling. Everything was good except for the 1000 layer potato, which was bland and dry, even with sour cream. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely return to try more items on the menu.
Loved the food and our server. Came into town for 3 days and ended up eating here twice. The true stars on the menu are the spicy ahi tuna, bao, and the truffle upon. The truffle udon was so good I ordered a second because I just couldnt stop eating it. Thanks Planta!
The sushi rolls, although not the most expertly assembled as they can fall apart when I try to pick them up with my chopsticks, do taste like sushi while being entirely plant based. The Singapore noodles do taste like what I would expect with the curry flavor, but does seem to be missing that wok hei. The kimchi fried rice was very kimchi forward in an acidic way and a wet way while also lacking the wok hei. Would recommend cutting the kimchi into smaller pieces and to not overwhelm someones pallet and also to stir fry dryer when making fried rice. I understand it is supposed to be family style, but any family style Chinese Restaurant would serve larger portions than that... The Vietnamese coffee also lacked that signature bitterness and over extracted coffee flavor one expects with it in most Vietnamese restaurants. Vegetarian options: This is a plant based restaurant
A delicious plant-based place to eat. The dishes are great for sharing. My group was 6 people, and we split 8 dishes and felt perfectly full and content afterward. We got the bang bang broccoli, General D s cauliflower, Singapore noodles, udon noodles, gyoza, cold noodles, lobster roll, and I forgot the last dish. The best ones were the udon noodles (rich and creamy) and the cauliflower (flavorful sauce although I wish it was crispier like the broccoli). The atmosphere is also awesome. It s well themed and decorated. Vegetarian options: All of the items there are plant based
You must get the Singapore noodles and bubble waffle taro sundae! I wish I was still eating them
Vegan restaurant with excellent dishes that are very tasteful and well presented. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, and the staff very friendly. I recommend at 100%!
Food was delicious, the service was good, and aesthetically the restaurant is very nice, but the volume of the ambient music can hamper dinner conversation a bit. Our favorite was the Bang Bang Broccoli. We also ordered the Bao Sliders (one slider per order, would have preferred more of the dark sauce, but the crunch level was good), the July special fried rice, the Udon Noodles (wonderfully creamy), and the Singapore Noodles. Vegetarian options: Everything is plant based. Dietary restrictions: The server asked about dietary restrictions. Gluten free menu items are available.
Went for my birthday dinner , reservation was 8 clock , despite having reservation they made us wait , the host was super rude . Table touch was not done, host she seems like living in her own world. Food was good . Our server she was nice the food runner needs to know what are the table numbers they clearly are not trained properly.
One of the best. Amazing food and love their sushi spread.
To be honest, regardless of the taste, my experience with a doordash pickup was shocking and I was put to the back of the line for 3 people looking for tables and a couple of others with reservations. Sure, its a nice joint, but Im still spending 40 bucks at your place to grub and shouldnt be ignored or placed aside. I wonder if they treat you the same after you paid your bill. I got the famous Bang Bang Broccoli and the Chilli Garlic Tofu. The tofu was swimming, no drowning in grease and neither were spectacular nor enjoyable this was a huge letdown for me. I was told this is a dope and prestigious vegan fusion joint but my experience was really bad.
Fantastic food. Incredible service. Definitely recommend this fabulous restaurant.
Very atmospheric plant-based restaurant, that puts a vegan spin on Asian kitchen. I might have liked the other Planta restaurant a bit more, but I would surely try this one again. Vegetarian options: Everything at the restaurant is plant-based Dietary restrictions: Vegan, Plant-based
The flavors at this vegetarian restaurant are truly remarkable, offering incredible depth and harmony. Each dish is creative and well-executed, standing out in its own right. The Japanese sweet potato is a must-try its perfectly soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and beautifully balanced with sweet, savoury, and vibrant notes from the miso sauce and kimchi.
I ve been wanting to visit PLANTA for years! Finally I had the chance to drop in with my mom (who s not usually open to trying new foods). Well I m glad I came, everything as AMAZING! The food was fresh, good portions, and served quickly. And my mother LOVED IT. I want to especially shout out our waiter Cody, he was absolutely the best waiter I have ever come across, he was friendly, made great recommendations, he was patient and so kind. I also want to shout Amir with the amazing hair! He was such a sweetheart and I thank him for the treat <3. I will absolutely visit again and again.
Fantastic experience! Ordered several times during happy hour - spicy cauliflower, watermelon sushi, lobster roll, Thai lettuce wraps, crunchy mushroom sushi. Id say the wraps were the best of them, then in order spicy watermelon sushi, cauliflower, lobster roll, mushroom sushi.
Amazing cuisine. Fantastic atmosphere. If you a vegan in Toronto this place is a must visit.
As expected, this is a pricey fine dining restaurant but overall I expected food to be overwhelmingly delicious which was not the case, not exactly. We ordered the famous broccoli and it really is the star of the show. Ceasar salad (ceasar queen) is very delicious, can t complain. However, watermelon nigiri tasted like just plain sushi. Torched and pressed (w. avoc) was much actually better. I did not like the truffle mushroom udon at all, it had an odd taste and smell. Had a small bite only. For dessert we had a bubble waffle sth, which was not my cup of tea (ice-cream) at all. So skip that dessert, and ahi watermelon watermelon nigiri. Lastly, probably because of the udon, about an hour after eating, my partner got food poisoning. We don t know what caused it for sure but since I almost did not eat any of the udon and all else we shared, it is our suspect. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan
The worst service I have ever had. Bad-so-bad!!!!!!
The service was very good and accommodating, but the FOOD AND DRINK WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SO BAD. Service and atmosphere was great but I CAME TO EAT and DRINK. One of us in the group switched out their drink and even the other option was horrible. We tried each others drinks and they were not good. How are you gonna mess up drinks that s the bare minimum. Everyone was telling me this place is amazing but it was not it. Especially for the price of those dishes, each dish should be banging. One dish out of the five was ok which was the chilli garlic tofu and the torch pressed sushi was good, I can t lie but the rest were super whack like really really bad and each of those dishes were 20 bucks minimum. For these prices it should at least be good not amazing but at least good.If the drinks were good it would be redeemable but the 15 dollar cocktails were not even good. Definitely not worth it.
Awesome experience. Excellent dishes and desserts. Finally a decent vegan restaurant !!! Food
Love everything about this restaurant and will definitely come back! The atmosphere, the service, the decor everything. My fav is crispy gyoza! U have to give it a try! It s really a bomb the rest are worth trying too! My ratings are: 5/5 Crispy gyoza 4.9/5 Spicy tuna hand roll 4.8/5 Eggplant sushi 4.5/5 bao slider 4/5 bang bang broccoli
The Bang Bang broccoli and spicy tuna rolls were great.
A true vegetarians dream!
First time here. Really enjoyed the food.everything was fantastic. Would definitely come back
The best place to dine in Toronto! Delicious food, courteous service, memorable ambience. They are happy to work with your dietary restrictions as well. Delightful experience.
Drinks are all ice not worth the money. Food is good though
I love Planta! I would absolutely recommend trying the crispy gyoza, spinach shiitake dumplings, poke bowl, and udon noodles (personal favourite). The sushi is also really good. Will definitely come back to try different dishes.
I was only in Toronto for a day and a half and went here both times I ate. I ordered the Bang Bang Broccoli, Crispy Gyoza, 1,000 Layer Crispy Potatoes, Bao Slider, Peking Mushroom Roll, Udon Noodle, and Chilled Peanut Noodles and all of it was phenomenal. Some of the best food Ive ever had. Shout-out to Rick at the bar as well for the great service, plus the host and the other staff I interacted with were great as well! One of the best places you could go for vegan food in Toronto
This is heaven for vegan. I absolutely loved the food. I got sushi, eggplant sashimi and dumplings. Everything was so tasty. I tried few different cocktails, my favourite was margarita. But all of them were delicious. Service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and made sure I got everything I need and enjoyed my experience. Only one suggestion I have it s to change the garbage bin a the the washroom for something will fit better with all authentic. I live the lighting and mirror and design. And this bin just looks so cheap and it s doesn t belong there . Overall I had great experience. Will be coming back!
Found hair in my food, didnt apologize or recognize it
Great service. Delicious food.
It was one of the best vegan restaurant i have ever visited. Everything tastes so good and delicious. I love the ambience and vibe. Busy place on weekends and nights. Portion sizes are good and prices are quite high. But it s Amazinggg!
We had an amazing experience celebrating our 20th anniversary weekend here. Ben was the most delightful and attentive server! Food was most impressive! Vegetarian options: It is an entirely vegan restaurant! Yay! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Wow wow we loved this place. Truly amazing food, creativity, and ambiance. The bar made us amazing drinks. We wished a place like this exists in Dallas but not yet. Vegetarian options: Its all vegan I think.
Absolutely gorgeous food, good service and absolutely OK atmosphere albeit a little loud Vegetarian options: All-vegan menu but you wouldnt notice if you didnt know. Excellent for any tastebuds.
We visited here for a late night dinner on a weekday and we were positively surprised that many tables were full and also there were a few small gatherings. It has a very nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We had a great chat with the staff about other locations and their menu. They also helped us with what to order. We ordered Cocina Caesar , Guacamole and Tacos and enjoyed all of them. Great place for vegan food.
Delicious food, beautiful interior. Really enjoyed dining in here!!!
