350 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2G4, Canada
Family-run Vietnamese eatery with a warm atmosphere for noodle soups, specialties & smoothies.
It was my first time in years dining at Pho Hung and food is exactly as I remembered and still delicious! I had my usual vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken, veggies and crispy spring roll. They have large and regular size and I got regular which was still filling. Also had their famous fried chicken wings which are fantastic! Highly recommend! The owner said it's a secret recipe they actually got from Buffalo NY. Ambience is always warm and I forgot this Spadina location has an extension that used to be their patio. Fast service and it was nice to see the owner who is usually there. And thankfully it wasn't packed when we got there on a Saturday around 1pm. This restaurant is still a family favourite!
I feel like this restaurant has finally found their mojo back since Covid! I got the special pho, a Vietnamese coffee, and fresh rolls! It all hit the spot ☺️
Pho Hung offers a dining experience that stands out in the best way. From the moment you step in, the old and vintage vibe of the place draws you in, giving it a cozy, nostalgic charm. While the setting may not be modern, it adds a unique character that makes the experience memorable. One thing that struck me as unique was their ordering system. Instead of the usual menus, we noted down serial numbers from the menu onto a paper to place our order. It was different but easy to follow, adding to the experience. The food and drinks here are what truly shine. I tried both the cold and hot coffee, and they were absolutely on another level. Served with a traditional filter and condensed milk, the flavors were rich and authentic—definitely a highlight. We also ordered some spring rolls and noodles, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and added to the welcoming atmosphere, making the visit even more enjoyable. A heads-up: they only accept cash, but they’ve conveniently provided an ATM machine on-site. Overall, Pho Hung is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for great food, a vintage atmosphere, and a unique dining experience. I’d definitely recommend it!
It's ok, nothing special, food is about 7/10 compared to our authentic food. Maybe a little cheaper despite being in the middle of downtown but payment by cash only might help reducing the price. It's more spacious inside.
Lots of seating in their dining room. The staff are pretty attentive. Food comes out pretty fast when you order. I had the grilled chicken cutlet rice dish. The chicken is surprisingly sweet. It’s definitely a filling portion, at least for me. Been back here a few times now, and it’s a good place for the amount that you’re paying.
First off, the spring rolls were made differently than what I’m used to going to viet restaurants. The price for everything wasn’t pricey and was good for what it was. It tasted like a good home cooked meal that my mom could make. There is no parking dedicated to the restaurant since it is basically downtown. Staff was very friendly and made some small talk with us when we weren't eating.
I really like it. The Fried rolls are amazing with the sauce and the pho is really good too. I order with everything but I don’t like the entrails so next time I’ll order without:)
The most spacious pho eatery in Chinatown. The menu is extensive with many choices. You can ask for no-meat modifications. Prices are reasonable. Negatives: automatic addition of 15% tips without telling customers, food in general are salty, and ONLY cash here!
Amazing pho!
They took our 40$ and left without giving us any change.
Portions are small and it was stinky
Awful place!! Dirty sticky chopstick
Only gave it 4 stars bc theyve got a very limited pho menu and no authentic Sriracha. Otherwise, broth was very tasty and definitely worth the price
My favourite Pho place in the city & the spring rolls live rent free in my mind
I had a disappointing experience with the service here. I waited over 15 minutes before anyone came to take my order, and then was asked to move tables. Unfortunately, this isn t the first time I ve encountered poor customer service. I would recommend going elsewhere for a place that offers respectful service.
Very solid offerings here. Standard pho that will not disappoint.
Bad experience
The pho here was fresh and delicious. The ingredients tasted great, and the broth had just the right flavor. I enjoyed my meal and would come back again
Pho is very delicious and has true Vietnamese flavor
Clean bright fresh and generous
Quick service cash only for Vietnamese food. Family run joint. Vegetarian options: Confirm with staff Dietary restrictions: Confirm with staff Parking: Downtown TO. Need to drive around to park Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Call to confirm
Very disappointed Large (18$)size pho is like a medium size to me ,no onions, not hot enough no taste of pho at all duck bun is awful not coming back again for sure shrimp rolls only has one half of shrimp and lots of pork
Great food and Great Staff!!!
Got the pho and got to choose my 3 meats. Not sure what went wrong but something made my stomach hurt soooo much by the time I finished my pho. It hurt for the rest of the night, it was like a really bad cramp with a stomachache... also whats ridiculous is theres an $8 charge if you want to share a bowl of pho?!
The service was great and my pho was delicious
Been there 1stb4 food was good. went on sept27 cash only biz so I got up & left
Best deep fried spring roll ever!! Best Pho soup in town. 100% recommended.
food is very flavourful and well-done consistently. some dishes (shaking beef) they feel a bit stingy on (only a couple pieces of meat but overall great for the price point. have come back every couple weeks for the whole year. remember to bring cash since the ATM there charges a fee.
The theme here was MSG overload. Made me feel absolutely terrible after I ate.
Used to be great, one of the best in all Toronto. Today, it is not so great. Sad
I love this spot - consistently tasty and clear broth, reasonable price, fast service. Cash only.
Visit here if youd like to be blown away by the pho and vermicili. The taste - exquisite. The atmosphere - lovely. The owner kindly offered his help with the menu and greeted us with the sweetest smile. Well be back! (Careful, the large is LARGE!)
Delicious
Nice food.
Terrible service. This boy wanna play wit me by giving me the menu and snatching it back. Food is good though best pho I ve ever had. Boy you aint getting no tip with that attitude I go back next time you don t play with me
pho taste was really good
The food is okay, but the service is very poor. The owner is very rude and they don t take payments by card. ONLY CASH. And they don t give the receipt.
One of my favourite restaurants ever. I always order the 42 and it s always delicious.
Prices are very reasonable and meals are served promptly. Btw, they only accept cash . No credit card or no debit card service
My favourite place downtown for vermicelli. The food came within 5 mins of ordering (it was quiet when I had lunch). Price is reasonable and portion is good. They have amazing spring rolls.
The pho is pho-nomenal! The staff is very nice!
3 that
Best pho place in the area. The restaurant is spacious and open; they have seating on the enclosed patio. Prices are decent, cash only, but an ATM is in the basement. They also have dishes besides pho, such as rice, noodles, and stir fry. Its worth a trip if youre in the area.
Spring rolls were amazing and the actual restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. Service was great. However, the pho was very expensive for how much you get, and had the least flavourful broth Ive tasted at a pho place.
Ordered seafood with shrimps LARGE portion to go , they gave as the bag with food , when we arrive to eat , we opened the Box and it was super small portion for 27$ dish , they told us in the restaurant it will be enough for two people. They didn t give us any forks and chop sticks either. So please check your order before leaving the restaurant!
From your Vietnamese girlie: No. They were not terrible but there are way better options out there. Bun Bo Hue was definitely gimmicky though!!
Great place to go for dinner or lunch it s definitely worth visiting and the food is also very tasty
Good Pho, friendly staff and quiet setting
Incredible pho, staff is not that friendly though.
Excellent food and service!
Quick service, good food, good prices. Was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Would recommend the house special pho and the pork fresh rolls.
Very good place
We just went in wanted something to eat and got directly many recommendations and the food was so delicious. Thank you very much.
Pho is good enough, the chicken curry is really good. On top of that, great service and people. They welcome customers at the door. When we went back to use the washroom, they allowed us to use it kindly. Great experience.
This is the first time my boyfriend brought me to this place. He went about twenty times about 20 years ago. According to him, same quality and same taste It was delicious! I recommend
Our experience was really awesome and great!!! Food is delicious and satisfying recommended even their washroom is clean.
Outstanding service and food!!! I was very impressed with all aspects and I am so happy we chose Pho Hung!!
The food here was so tasty. Pho portions were fairly big and was more than enough. Went with a buddy after work. First time eating here and will definitly go back if Im in the area.
Small handwritten notice of cash only in 2024? Check. Write your own order on their ticket? Check. Mandatory tip for party of 5? Check. Eat mediocre mediocre pho? Check. Spacious interior? Check. 2 Stars? Check.
You need a go-to pho shop for the piping hot noodle soup thatll help you ward off the Toronto winter. This one is one of the original, consistently good quality and affordable, and fairly easy to get to if you work/live downtown. Are those good reasons?
I used to go to here all the time but the last couple of time I ve been here the food quality has decline as well as the flavour. Restaurants in Chinatown have a similar look inside and out a bit old inside and out and not super clean but they usually make it up with the flavour and food quality and some with their service. Pho Hung is generally very clean, the service is good depending on who s serving you and their mood but overall polite, they even changed their old menu with a new one, however the most important aspect of course the food had decline in flavour and even the presentation is not as good as it once was. I wish I could recommend it to everyone as this was my favourite spot for Pho in Chinatown but I would be wrong of me so I would suggest you look for a different store and only if you re out of options try this place.
the claasic
Probably my favourite place food wise in toronto
The time of 2024 deceives a lot. Please go to Pho Hung restaurant located at 350 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON. Be careful of not being clear about the total cost of the dish. Recording the tip amount by hand is not clear. Also a Vietnamese compatriot. But they cheat and extort money from tourists. Im an American who went to Canada to travel and met a fellow countryman who lied to me, and Im very upset... If youve already planned to tip, when the customer gives you more, you should ask the customer to tip extra or return it. But they were greedy and kept quiet to take more. I hope everyone will be more careful. Dont be deceived and frustrated. The Vietnamese community should boycott restaurants like that. Thanks a lot . In 2024, there are many scams. I hope people who go to Pho Hung restaurant at 350 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON, be careful about unclear details of the total price of the dish. Handwritten notes have added unclear tips. Also a fellow Vietnamese. But they cheat tourists. I am an American traveling to Canada and met a fellow Vietnamese who cheated me, I was very upset... If you calculate the tip, when the customer gives more, you should ask the customer if you want to tip more or give it back . But they are greedy and keep quiet and take more. I hope everyone is more careful. Dont be scammed. The Vietnamese community should boycott restaurants like that. Thank you very much.
The pho and fried rolls were very good with big portions. There were a lot of people so maybe avoid the peak time if you want the service.
Great Pho !!
Good egg rolls but really oily. Soup is not bad but could use a little more noodles.
Amazing Vietnamese food, best in Toronto.
If youre looking for great Vietnamese dishes (especially pho) at an affordable price, this is the place!
The beef noodle is very nice
No frills location for Vietnamese food. Fast service and tasty dishes. The restaurant only accepts cash.
While the food may not be completely authentic, the restaurant offers a bright and cheerful dining area with excellent service.
Walked all the way from financial district to this place and got their signature pho bowl, the rare beef was not fresh and had an acidic taste, the broth is blend and tasteless, the pho is overcooked and lack any texture. The coffee they gave me was brewed awfully and taste extremely stringent even with the added condensed cream and im a daily coffee person. The place is also cash only, and the atm downstairs charges you 2.50 to get cash, for a restaurant in toronto in 2024 this is lame as hell and at the very least the server should have notified customers about this. As someone who works in the restaurant business, Id say Ill not be coming back to this spot again. Their food quality has dropped so much within the last decade and as a restaurant they lack competence on pretty much every level.
An institution on Spadina. Great food. Awesome value for the $$$. Fast service.
Look at this big tendon. Wow. Its good.
I love, love, love this restaurant. Ive been coming here for years, and the food and service have remained excellent speedy, friendly, affordable, and consistently fresh, delicious, and hot. Ive had Bun elsewhere and theres is the best by far. NB: They are cash only, so make sure you have cash on hand.
Pho was not great but edible but the service was not good they were very rude my daughter went here years ago with some friends and were rushed out the restaurant when they haven t even finished eating the waitress wanted them to pay the bill before getting their food but I figured I would decide to give this place a chance myself years later and now I see what my child experienced and it s just bad service for not that great of a meal.
Service was very rude. Taste is too plain with lots of MSG. They only accept CASH, no credit or debit card payments. When I asked for a receipt as proof of my payment, they refused to give me the receipt - a classic way of business tax evasion. I will never go back again.
Not bad, only tried the house special but the broth could have been more flavorful. Additionally, a bit stingy with the meat, I only received one piece of meat for each listed. The portion sizing smaller than one would expect, especially for the price. The service was great though, food came quickly! Overall the 2.5 stars, this is alright but there are better Vietnamese places in and around Toronto.
A great place to grab some Pho. Nothing fancy and nothing to complain about. I ve been here many times and it s always the same great pho. Like this place.
Don t come here if you aren t vietnamese. just don t. the staff are rude, judged me and my coloured friends; and made me feel like i wasn t even a person. it was a very uncomfortable environment.
Service is poor. Portions are small. Taste is good.
Certainly a decent go-to for Vietnamese food in Chinatown.
Great food, authentic good portions, and relatively well prices. The service is as you can expect from an Asian restaurant, but I dont care; I just go for the food. The soups are amazing, but I wouldnt recommend the spring rolls. Make sure to bring cash, or you have to use the ATM inside the store. Also, you have to park on the streets and depending on the time of day could be easy or hard to park.
Delicious and affordable Vietnamese food in downtown Toronto! We dined here on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed by the food here. The food is affordable and even the small or regular bowl of noodles is portioned generously! This place is cash-only and theres an ATM inside.
Ordered the plate # 56 and was really impressed with the quality, the portion size, the taste, the seasoning etc. Shrimp with curry and coconut milk on rice. The traditional soup with rare beef is also really good. Definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning again.
Very good service, staff very welcoming and quick service. I would recommend this asian restaurant, very good cooking.
Stopped in for lunch and got some fried tofu and pho. The tofu was meh, and the side sauce my partner didnt like too much. The phon was good however. The broth was flavourful and not too greasy, with fresh additions on the side (sprouts, Thai Basil, lime, etc.) Complimentary tea is always welcome. The rest of the food seemed authentic. They take cash only so beware. Service was fast and friendly.
Best PHo in Toronto, it s so delicious
My go-to pho place. Been a regular for about 7 years now. Never go wrong with pho and tofu skin wraps. Food : 5/5
Amazing viet place for flavourful pho. Their fried rolls alone are the reasons I will be returning. Super crispy and tasty!
Best pho in dt Toronto, broth is so flavorful and fresh. You can tell the broth is thoroughly cleaned from the juices the meat releases. I usually get the rare beef pho because Im not a fan of fatty beef. My go to place pho sure!
OMG, so cheep and delicious food . There are also free water and tea unlike the Chinese one in front. In two words: decent restaurant Food
It was delicious! The staff answered our questions about the dishes, and the dishes arrived quickly!
Cant go wrong with this chinatown staple. Great food, value, and portions, Pho Hung always hits the spot when craving Vietnamese. Classic Vietnamese fare done well with a real homey feel to the cooking. From pho and vermicelli to simple rice dishes and rolls, everything is prepared and seasoned nicely. My go to dishes here are the grilled beef with rice and an egg, and the curry soup. Food is consistent and seems like it hasnt changed one but over the years. Service is what youd expect from a fast paced restaurant like this, but that said, the workers are still friendly and helpful. Overall a great option when youre in the area and craving Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!
Good meals, good place , good price
Clean shop and friendly staff, nice soup. I like no.14 the most. Spring rolls are not bad. Food is quick too
I ordered their beef Pho soup. The broth lacked flavor and was very salty. Ended up feeling like I poisoned myself or something. They really do save every cent on the food despite charging a lot for add ons, it shows in the mediocre quality and taste. Some of the other dishes looked more appetizing (or frankly, edible) compared to the Pho though.
Beat Pho place in Chinatown. There house pho or rice with lemongrass chicken are good. Prices are reasonable. Their hours has changed recently. Food : 5/5 |
We ate very well in this restaurant, the portions are generous, the pho excellent, the service more than quick. We ate very well in this restaurant, the portions are generous, the pho excellent, the service more than quick.
awful servers but good food
Very authentic Vietnamese food right in the middle of Toronto China Town.
Best pho downtown, family owned, you only need to taste the broth to see why theyve been a downtown staple for years! Crispiest and tastiest spring rolls around. I always have to take 4 for home. The owner is a lovely gentleman who takes pride in his restaurant. Chatting and feeling out the customers is his thing. Always pleasant and always on point. I could eat here every day. Cleanliness, quality, and family friendly Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggies options including rolls and bowls Dietary restrictions: They have no problem usually Parking: Spadina street or green P Kid-friendliness: High chairs available Wheelchair accessibility: Roll in roll out
Cash only! But the place is really cute. Came here exactly one year later and nothing had changed (in a positive way). The food is delicious and absolutely affordable. Can 100% recommend for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Grilled pork - very overcooked
Edit 2024: Always busy pho spot located on Spadina. They have a lot of tables available and the service here is so fast. Washrooms are in the basement. Cant go wrong with their pho! All their dishes are affordable. 2018 Had to share a 2 person table with a stranger. Good pho and prices, though
best fried rice and beef noodle ever.
They have the best Bun Cha Gio Chay in Toronto! I have been going back again and again simply because they have a very wide selection of Vietnamese food and they use probably the freshest ingredients compared to other Vietnamese places in the area. The Bun Rieu, Bun Mam and Vermicelli dishes are all very delicious.
Havent been here in about a decade. Still very good.
Very attentive to their customers and the food was delicious. I hope to return one day.
One of the institutions in Spadina street Chinatown. Pho Hung is a place for good tasting pho and one of my most frequented spots when the craving for pho hits me. I admittedly have only Pho and spring rolls (fried and fresh) at this place. Why would I want to mess with what their specialty is? It is always good even if it has gotten more expensive because of how the overall economy is. I remember them doing a rationalization of their menu and shrunk down the variety for the better. It makes for an easier time to select things. Overall, if you are a fan of pho or just have a craving for it, this is a place to get to. Vegetarian options: Has some vegetarian dishes but not for their pho (soup base is made with animal stuff in it. Beef bones?)
As a foodie, I value authenticity, integrity and quality in food - this Pho did not meet my expectations- mainly due to the broth. In my opinion it tasted bland and watered down, it also tasted like it was flavoured with too many artificial ingredients I habe a tell tell sing to determine broth that I made from real bones. When I took the leftovers back home and refrigerated them - the broth did not turn into gelatin-like mass, which it normally does if the broth is made from real bones (which naturally have gelatin). My second tell - tell - is how thirsty I get after eating a bowl of pho. Normay i dont drink water or tea while I eat (I knnkw some people do) - so for me to feel super thirsty after eating a bowl of soup indicates there is likely loads of MSG in it. Again - this is my personal experience and assumptions based in that experience.. I havent been to their kitchen so I cannot confrim their cooking methods or Ingres. The server was super nice, however, and brought extra basil upon asking.
Great food and always comes quickly, with friendly service!
Wouldnt recommend
Food was great but portions were slim. I paid a mandatory gratuity when our family only seen waitress one time.
Great tasting pho, served hot and fast in a cute eatery. The bowls are a smaller for the price than you can get outside of downtown but the quality is top notch. The beef stew noodles were amazing, very flavourful with plenty of beef and carrots.
Awesome food
A staple in the city for decades. Always a solid choice if youre in the mood for ph , bún, or other typical Vietnamese dishes. Lots of seating. Cash only.
Friendly service and excellent Bún bò Hu . Cash only.
Incredible service, good Pho I recommend it for sure
Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! If youre craving some piping hot noodles in this cold weather, head to Pho Hung for their pho or bun bo hue, which will undoubtely warm up your soul. The soft, comforting hug the pho noodles will give you will make all your troubles wash away, and the bun bo hue provides much more of a spicy, umami kick with a slightly chewier, cylindrical noodle. Gracefully they dont skimp on the meat either.
The best Pho restaurant on Spadina Ave in the Chinatown! It s been popular for many years! Last time I had a Regular size Pho with rare beef & chicken. With all the sprouts, lime, Thai basil, Sriracha sauce & Hoisin sauce it was amazing!! Cash only Food : 5/5
Amazing and delicious food. Totally recommended. Food
Our family loves Pho Hung on Spadina. We always order the fried rice. Best in the city in our opinion. Also, the fried spring rolls and mango milkshakes are awesome! Make sure you bring cash though since its the only way to pay. Vegetarian options: We order the chicken fried rice without the chicken. My daughter doesnt eat tofu but will eat egg so it works for us. They do have tofu as an option as well.
best pho ive ever had and other dishes are great too
Place has gone downhill in the past decade I ve been a customer. Service and setting have always been subpar but food was decent. Nowadays broth has no flavour and is served barely hot. My rare beef didn t fully cook in the broth. Noodles tasted over cooked and overall just a lacklustre experience. Then comes payment time, how is it possible in 2023 a business is still entirely cash-based (I suspect tax fraud is occurring here). There s better places to go within a walking distance for your money.
food was okay and service was terrible. based on our experience, we decided not to tip. When the server noticed we didnt tip, she demanded tip from us and giving us back our bill saying we have to tip at least 10%. would not recommend this place at all and will not return.
The My Tho Soup with egg noodles was excellent but pho broth is too heavy on the fish sauce in my opinion. Price cant be beat for the quality and value. Would return again. Only complaint, not a big deal, were here for the food and value, but they very obviously seat white customers in the nicer, windowed room and everyone else (including older white people or white families) in the less-nice cash register side. Unsure of the reason. Washrooms are one the cleanest ive seen in a pho restaurant.
Pho was not good, cheap cuts of meat, broth was mediocre. Fresh rolls were not fresh Rude waitress Will not be back and not recommend
First Time Here. Order the special soup. Meat was old, hard, yellow, brownish. Will never eat there. Food : 1/5
Best in town? Maybe
If I could give 0 stars for this place I would as even 1 star seems too generous. Dined in with a group of 9 plus one child. When the waiter/manager (assuming he s the manager based on how he behaved like he ran the place) took our order, he got upset and made a rude comment to our group and then angrily stated that the orders for our group size is not enough then proceeded to storm off and sent another waiter to serve our table. The child was the only person in our group who did not place an order (the child s mother figured the portions would be too big for the child and thought it would more make sense if she just shared her meal with the child), while the rest of us ordered main dishes and a few appetizers. When we received our food order 45 minutes later, 3 of the dishes that we ordered were wrong and again the waiter/manager seemed irritated at our group after we politely informed him of the mistake. I can look past the mistakes with the orders (as these things can happen, we re human after all) but what I can t get over is how rude and arrogant this waiter/manager was. The interactions we had with this unpleasant person was bad enough to ruin our groups dining experience with the restaurant. I can understand if the restaurant has a no sharing policy or that every customer dining in must order. If this was the case there s a proper way to communicate this instead of getting angry and making rude comments at paying customers.
A cozy restaurant without fancy decorations. The menu is very large with over 100 items! The portion were large and the food was flavourful, definitely worth a try!
For Vietnamese pho, this is the place. Vegie option tastes good.
I got the vegetarian pho and it was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the pho included some pieces of fried tofu. You do have to specify you want vegetable broth, however, the taste was phenomenal. The staff were amazing and so kind. Amazing customer service and clean restaurant. Only downside is that the washroom is in the basement. I highly recommend this restaurant for good pho. Wheelchair accessibility: Difficulty wheelchair accessibility. Using a walker was challenging in this establishment.
If you have peanut allergies dont come here; cross contamination of peanuts into non-peanut dishes
But the cage does not have a spring roll. Thats death.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in downtown. I love their pho, vermicelli, and rice dish with grilled meat and egg roll. Been to this restaurant around 20-ish times, and the restaurant doesnt disappoint at all. I take my friends and recommend others to try this restaurant. The service is quick. Food comes out relatively quick. Atmosphere-wise, it is pretty clean, can feel a little rundown. Also, their spring roll is amazing. AND it is cash only so be aware.
the owner needs to learn how to properly round to the nearest cent.
They have some good vegetarian options, I got a tofu with peanut sauce dish that I found a bit bland but overall still good
one of the few authentic places in TO for Pho
Service is ok good is AMAZING!
You must eat the signature powder here and drink the D soup The spring rolls taste great Cash only!
Consistent quality. Yummy noodle soup. Spring rolls are also great.
Was a regular here from 2014-2019. Recently returned because of the fond memories and was really disappointed by the food quality. The fresh rolls were barely filled, peanut sauce lacked flavour, and the broth was not hot - it was just warm and the rare beef barely cooked in it. Really disappointing as this used to be my fave pho spot
Excellent
Nice choice of meals
It is a very classic and authentic Vietnamese restaurant that has a long history in Toronto. My partner and I always go there from time to time. The restaurant of course does offer good pho, but I think other dishes are much more worth trying, such as Bun Bo Hue, as these dishes are hard to be found in other Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto
Amazing pho, perfect for cold days. Nice view of the street and pretty seating by the windows. I highly recommend Pho Hung for any lunches, dinners or Elevensies. Food
One of the best pho place in downtown toronto! Pho was good as always and the spring rolls were really crispy!
Rude service, tourist trap.
Having lived in the neighborhood for over a year, Ive heard great thing about this place. The pho was great. Decent. Its not bad not also didnt blow off my socks. Id quite like to try their bun bo hue next time. The grilled chicken rolls tho, I was really happy with. The wings, while good, werent what I had in mind having wings at a Vietnamese place.
Always consistent ! Love coming here !
We had lunch, and I can tell that was my best bowl of pho I ever had.
Very nice and approachable owner.
One thing I like most with this restaurant is they are budget friendly. Perfect for students and those who like to spend less but get big portions and quality food. Vegetarian options are also available.
So good. The servings are very filling. Reminds me of how my mom makes pho and bhun, though the bhun soup is slightly different (different chefs lol). I find that this place normally get overcrowded with groups of friends and family during lunch and evenings every season, so either arrive before rush hour or have a Plan B ready (or C since every restaurant in Chinatown gets overcrowded). Takeout is optional (and very fast!)
What can I say, I love pho. They have a really good pho
It was okay, got the chicken Pho and it was reasonably priced. There was a few big pieces of chicken in the small Pho, but some of the pieces were half fat.
