Vietnamese Restaurant in Dundas, Toronto
This is one of those og spots in Chinatown which have been around forever (and has been frozen in time and could use some upgrades). Cash only, with ATM on site. The convenient thing is that they are open 24/7, making it a great choice for anytime. The food here is generously portioned and delicious, especially the vermicelli dishes, pho, and bun bo hue. Prices are on the higher side for Chinatown Vietnamese food. Service is pretty friendly compared to other Chinatown restaurants!
amazing experience. calm, relaxing atmosphere. the beef pho is the best i’ve had and the broth is so good. the lady that served us was very nice throughout service. this place should have 5 stars!
Not the most delicious vietnamese restaurant out there but it’s very good after a night out.
Ordered from Uber Eats and found ALOT of hair stuck in different pieces of beef tendons. Had to throw the entire order away as it is totally gross….never seen anything like this before
I’ve been to this restaurant at various hours of the day and night. The food and service are consistently Great. Service is always quick, and tonight was extra special. A gentleman who was in a wheelchair, wished to walk to the bathroom on his own. He was having a great deal of difficulty but was managing. I offered to assist him, but politely declined as he said, I’m managing… As he walked past me, the Chef came out from the kitchen with a brand new, aluminum adjustable cane… The Chef said to him, more or less, that he did not need it anymore, and that it was now his gift for the struggling Gentlemen to keep; they share a the gentlemanly nod of their heads and in different directions they went. The gift greatly assisted the man, and tripled his movement down the hallway to the bathroom… THANK YOU Chef, you’ve made my day in more ways than you’ll ever know…. I offer my heartfelt apologizes to the servers and owners back to the first day great place opened, that I had not completed a positive review in the past…
Good pho , have had better. I think the main draw is that it’s 24 hrs which is very nice. Also lots of take out orders, we witnessed at least 4-5 the 20 minutes we were there. Would only recommend if looking for food/pho late in the night. A little pricey too
It is one of few (perhaps only?) 24 hour pho place in the downtown Toronto area and it's always been reliable and tasty, perfect for late night eats. The portions are extremely generous especially with the amount of meat they give for both the pho and the rice dishes. Inside is overall kept fairly clean aside from the bathrooms (but this is a place you go for quick eats anyway). It seems that they have a number of vegetarian options as well.
Looking for 24/7 Pho? Pho Pasteur Restaurant won't disappoint you. 💕 I tried the bun bo hue, and it had a very flavorful and delicious broth with the perfect level of lemongrass and spiciness. They gave us plenty of beef, and the portion was huge! I couldn't even finish all the meat. However, the beef shank was a bit tough. Other than that, everything was great. We also ordered the chicken curry with vermicelli. Surprisingly, they gave us two drumsticks full of meat 🥹. The curry is not too spicy because they use coconut to balance the spiciness. Anyway, I still prefer my usual favorite bun bo hue more because the soup is lighter and clearer. ☺️
Worst pho in Toronto. The broth was bland, the noodles were overcooked, and the meat tasted old. Completely disappointed and won t be back.
Everything is fair except the price. Paying 20 for the smallest sized pho is not a good deal.
Most expensive place compare to others but food tastes the same
Staff are so kind and so friendly! It s rare to comes across such good customer service in this time. But so happy I discovered them. Will definitely be coming back and recommending them.
Great spot for a late night meal. Staff are amazing. Family atmosphere and home cooking
This place is a gem. Great food, great service, fast service, and conveniently located.
Nice and courtesy service.
Late night pho at its best.
Ordered a banh mi sandwich to go. Took about 10-13 minutes. I was the only customer in the place at that time. I felt it took a little long but its ok it happens. Pork was ok. A little too dry for my liking but not horrible. Accompanying garnishes were good. Fresh and def no complaints on that part. I asked for spicy, it was not spicy at all My biggest issue with it is that when I took it to my car to eat it it wasnt put in a sandwich at all. Everything was seperate. Bread was not cut open and no knife given either. So I had to treat it open and assemble it in the car. Definitely not a enjoyable experience at all. I feel it they are going to give a sandwich fort take out then they should have it prepared to eat as take out. Overall 2/5 I will try dine in next time to see how that goes
Have been a customer for at least 10 years. Quality is ok now but caters to the post club goers. Decent pho. I sat by the front and watched them reuse the sprouts and basil. I called them out on it and they looked dejected and guilty. Enjoy your stale and breathed upon garnishes!
We ordered food and saw 2 roaches running across the table. We left immediately!! Will never return.
Great service and staff. Nice food.
The rice noodles are delicious, but they only accept cash.
Was amazing food
The food is good tho but i pay cash they didn t give me full change and Try to hide them
The food was ok and the place is open 24 hrs, which is good for late night meal
Popular Vietnamese restaurant that I like. The pho dac biet is exceptional.
I often get DoorDash from this place but this will be the last time Im ordering from this place. Pho stock has changed, wasnt as good as before. Also the stingiest place I ever ordered on, kindly requested to replace the chili sauce with the Siracha instead, but they just took away the chili sauce without replacing it with the Siracha sauce. Horrible customerser service.
We give it 7 stars. The chicken wings are so crispy and there are good people working here.
U cant go wrong with this place at anytime of the day. Open 24hrs and serving up some of the most tasty Vietnamese food fair. Definitely a must try!
My friend and I had pho at a late-night spot on Saturday. We ordered pho with meatballs and beef, but later that night I felt extremely ill upset stomach and nausea. The next day, I started vomiting and had diarrhea. The pain was unbearable, so I went to the ER where tests confirmed food poisoning. After reading reviews mentioning similar incidents, I wont return to that restaurant. My friend also got sick and went to the ER for similar symptoms.
I love this place. The food is incredible and the people treat you well
Great late night food spot
It so disgusting, one of my friends found a small cockroach in the pho, it s very expensive at night for having this kind of things for a place in the downtown. I will never come back here to eat and it was my first time!!
Trash Hair inside the soup Food
I was here yesterday with my girlfriend and a friend. I love pho. Unfortunately, a cockroach inside to my soup. I really have a trauma and now I cant eat anywhere else because it reminds me of this shocking image. I do not recommend this place for any reason. If it is correct, a cockroach in my bowl is completely unacceptable.
The only Viet I can find in the area at midnight. Service was good. Food was ok. But expensive pho at $20 and up ouch! Wish I had bought instant ramen instead lol.
I can sadly this I lost my food poisoning virginity here.
Too expensive and taste too bad
The braised beef dish here is very similar to that in Vietnam. The restaurant is open 24/24 so you can come eat at any time.
Nice 24 hour viet spot! Food is always yummy
Such a cozy spot with fantastic food and service. Had great conversations with our host Karma :)
Been here many times, its super fulfilling and the quantity for the amount you pay is huge and the quality of the foods and customer service is also great. 20/10 recommend for anyone who visit this place.
Food is good, but portions on the smaller side and prices are high.
Prices have gone up but the food is great and 24 hours service.
I was in Toronto for 3 days, found this place on my first night, then ate there every day ordering the same dish. Let me break it down. Pros: - best pho I ve possibly ever had (number 14 which had beef and tripe and tendons and all sorts of gross sounding things which actually taste amazing) - lightning fast service (food always arrived within a couple minutes of ordering) - amazing home made chili sauce - loads of meat in the pho - open 24 hours - great value on a large pho Cons - there are no starters available for less than 18 dollars. Strange that a spring roll costs the same as a pho. Never experienced that anywhere else and it s a shame coz I d liked to have ordered some starters but not when they are priced the same as a main - there s not really an atmosphere, it s quite like a canteen inside, simple and bright lights. Not somewhere you d go for a special occasion. If you want amazing tasting pho with no frills this is the place to go.
Food: Average versus other pho shops with standard side dish of accompanied bean sprouts, chilli pepper, basil & lime. Service: Standard to expectations in pho shops. Efficient & not clearest communication in English. Atmosphere: Laid back and roomy, however there are several interrupted dining experiences from Homeless that are let into the Shops
Terrible service
Ive been coming here for 4am pho for 15+ years and Ill keep coming as long as they stay open. This is the best midnight pho in the world.
The best Pho I ve ever had. We ve been on a quest for the best Pho and this one definitely hit the spot.
NYC Locals visiting - I had a craving for Phó & after walking the kensington market for a bit we came across this hidden gem. The food was great - We ordered #18 & #18b. Almost didnt find it since the ratings were below what i usually go for however the environment was welcoming & the meal didnt disappoint.
Delicious pho. And deep-fried spring rolls are must try. Food : 5/5
A little pricey compared to my usual pho spot. BUT PHO IS OF VERY HIGH QUALITY. Great service too. Id recommend to anyone around kensington market/chinatown who wants a good pho. The portions are very good, i got a medium and left very satisfied. Food
LOOOOOOOVED it!
Its nice that its 24 hours a day, but its a bit long... There are a lot of homeless people.
I have been a regular for 5 years. I used to go days in a row. Sad to see how the prices has become. A small pho used to be $11.75 in 2021, $16.99 in 2022, and now $19.99 in 2023. That s a whopping 70% increase. What they have is way over market price: Pho Hung next door has their regular pho at $11; Kinton ramen has ramen bowls at $14.99; GB hand pulled noodles (a beef broth based noodle joint on Bay Street, which requires additional hand-pulled labor costs) has small bowls at $11.99. I would also say all three restaurants mentioned above either have better interior, better service, or accepts debit or credit. So there is simply no reason for Pho Pasteur to be vastly more expensive. Inflation is real but no one is having it easy. Please fix your prices and don t expect your customers to overcompensate .
Never have a bad experience when I come here. My girlfriend and I got caught in the rain last night and that pho hit the spot
The food was really good for the price. This place has to be one of the few pho restaurants that actually give you more meat than most places very happy. Will be coming back here when Im near the area again!!
pretty mediocre pho. its convenient because its open 24 hours, but you can get much better pho in the area. atmosphere was pretty uncomfortable for a bit because there was a shouting match when a man came in asking for water and was refused. owner/one of the employees threatened to call the police and the man ultimately left.
Pretty standard place but does not have any vegetarian broth options which severely limits the menu. Food seems otherwise pretty good, and serving size excellent. Vegetarian options: Very bad selection. Most dishes are on either chicken or beef broth.
I loved this place but their price increases are insane! Its now $20 for a small bowl of pho. Double the price on everything on the menu! If youre looking for late night eats there are other options in the area. Just sad this use to by my go to.
Hands down Best pho place in town.
Really good pho, it s open 24 hours. A true hole in the wall in Torontos Chinatown and could use some updating and deep cleaning, but it s worth the stop
It s my favourite place to eat authentic Asian food ! Also the waiters are amazing.
Came in on a rainy Wednesday just before noon. I was pleasantly surprised that the place was empty when I walked in and I was immediately greeted and served tea. The food came out quite fast which wasn t too surprising considering I was the only one dining in and it tasted pretty good! It s pretty standard pho but it really hit the spot for the gloomy weather. The actual restaurant is quite nice as well. Each table was clean and well stocked with the necessities for pho (chopsticks, spoons, sriracha, hoisin sauce, etc.). In general, the place was pretty neat with not too much decor but enough to create a cozy atmosphere. I came here from out of the city so it just filled my craving for pho perfectly as I was exploring Toronto but apparently it s open 24/7 so it s probably a great option for those living in the city as well. Will probably come back here!
The pho and spring rolls were great! We ate twice in the last few weeks because the younger lady was so kind and provided great service! HOWEVER, when we came the 2nd time, the older lady was very rude, just passing by and service so slow. She could barely speak English but that would have been fine if she was polite. She was serving dirty dishes. Impatient. And washing the dishes like she wants to break them the gentleman who was helping Serve was quiet but reeked of cigarette. This ruined the experience for us. If is the older lady serving, run away!
Love this place. Many options to try and I love them all!
No music in this restaurant, very white walls, food is good, the clientele used indoor voices
Amazing staff, service and quick!
It s a hole in the wall style Vietnamese joint but the food is solid considering they are open 24 hrs. Good with special requests and I highly recommend the Cha Gio- some of the meatiest I ve ever had. Sweet fish sauce is also super flavourful and a must have.
Expensive, horrible customer services, I wont come back, No recommended ! Food : 1/5
Good as, but the service is not so friendly.
Intentionally misled us when they said they allowed debit when they did not for a 2 person table. Waiter was also really rude when my friend asked for a takeout container. I came here years ago, and the quality of food has tanked while the price has skyrocketed. Recommend the pho place on Spadina and Nassau for better prices, friendlier staff, and better food.
Neither the food nor the service comes near the ~$40/person (without alcohol) price point they charge. Small pho is now up to 19.99 and sides are 14.99. Drinks start at 9.99 for a small shake. The food itself is actually half decent but the server didnt even check in once. Better and cheaper within walking distance.
In my opinion, the best pho in Toronto. They re open 24/7 too. Very very yummy.
3.5 stars. Decent late night pho place. Wont blow your mind but it will hit the spot especially after drinks. Expensive for what it is though.
Good 24/7 pho spot in downtown also the pudding dessert drink was good as well.
Great drunken food option if you re in the area and want something a little cleaner than pizza and mcds! I ve never heard of a 24/7 pho place so this is a pretty cool business model. This is your standard pho place where you write your order and give it to the server. Food comes out pretty quickly and the portion sizes are pretty big for what I was initially expecting. The food is tasty and they don t skimp on portion sizes. The only reason why I gave this 4/5 is that the pricing is a bit steep for a pho place. However, given that they operate 24/7, I figure the increased prices offset their higher operating costs. The other thing to note is that they are cash only. They do have an ATM in the back but def something to be cognizant of before coming here!
I kid you not. 20 for a small, 21 for a med, and 22 for a large pho. Was surprised but was really hungry. I figured at those prices at least I should be full with a med. I mean in all honesty the cost of the ingredients couldnt possibly be more than $5 and thats at retail these guys dont pay retail. Well... Lets just say I was pretty disappointed with my med portion of noodles. Ok whatever. Go to pay and realise that they only take cash? Seriously? Youre charging those types of prices and you think everyone is going to have that much cash with them? Luckily I had $25! They ended up clearing me out! I usually order an order of spring rolls with my noodles but these guys also wanted $20 for the spring rolls! Would have cost me pretty much $50 for a bowl of noodles and an appetizer! If I wanted to spend that type of money Id rather eat at The Keg! Never going back. Sorry. I mean if you at least put some effort into the decor so we dont feel like were eating in a cafeteria.... Maybe.... But the way it stands this business is going down. I cant see how theyll ever survive.
I ve been going to this place for 8 years consistently. Consistently good. Quick service. Good price. Open 24/7/365
The prices here used to be comparable to other restaurants in the area, but they recently increased their prices by like... 70%. And the quality has gone down as well. You can get a small bowl for 10$ at Pho Hung, right up the street, but here theyre charging 17$ for comparable food (I would argue that Pho Hung is better.
Pre pandemic this place was better, pricing has gone way up for the same menu items.and the service is very slow. Brought my family into eat and the pork chop was under cooked and served with a overcooked fried egg. Same food same sketchy looking restaurant but they charge like its fine dining! Waitresses dont speak well engish so when i ordered i had to repeat myself 3 times!! She just stared at me like i was speaking alien to her!!! I will never will go here again! Go to pho 88 on yonge and sheppard. Best food and service by far!!
Food is good. Prices made up. Go with large.
Order 2 large pho soup. While the taste was great, it cost me $42! Wow inflation is bad but soup shouldn t be this highly priced in Chinatown.
16.99 for a small pho, 17.99 for medium, 18.99 for large pho. These are insane prices!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Worst food in the city and they will confirm your order on Uber eats and never deliver ! Be aware!
Delicious as ever!
I love this place
generally
Drove from Kitchener to have a particular soup but unfortunately they did not have all of the ingredients for it. My friend had a small Ph c Bi t. Soup was surprisingly flavourful. Did not taste like they used cheater bouillon cubes. I had Bún Riêu, and I must admit, it was pretty damn good. It was strange to have so much seafood in there. Tomato soup base was spot on! Alot of restaurants are afraid to use the fermented shrimp paste, but not Ph Pasteur. It was a decent replacement for Canh Ch a but curious, since this is not a common dish many Viet restaurants serve. Prices are super pricey $$$$. The bowl I ordered but they did not have, was $27.99. My black coffee was fantastic but $8.50.. I know inflation is high, and they are 24hrs, Leases Im sure is insanely high. Glad they are 24hrs, but cant make the hour + drive when I have a craving in the middle of the night. Not with these gas prices or these prices. But great food & great portions!!
A place that can eat pho during midnight, but there re definitely better pho out there. Plus it s kinda pricey.
The place is horrible... but the food was awesome! Portions are huge. Very filling
Only plus is the fact that it s open 24hrs. Otherwise, quality, price point, service and even atmosphere are just nowhere near the mark.
The soup base tastes a bit too sweet, and the shrimp roll sauce is also a bit too sweet, so I dont like the taste. What s even more annoying is that when ordering, you re shown a regular menu. When you check out, you ll be billed according to the late night menu, and each dish has increased by 3 dollars.
Went here for late night eats. The food is good and the service is quick. But you ll be paying a lot for it. I got a large pho and a drink and it cost me $50. It s good, just not $50 good. Inflation can t be that bad.
Love this place got me so full
Finally find a place open 24 hours per day open 7 days a week. Food portion are large n quality are ok . Typical type of Vietnamese restaurant.. but the price are much much higher than many other Vietnamese restaurants ...may be it is open 24 hours.....however couple items in my dishes can be more hotter temperature which will be great
ordered uber eats they did not put utensils even though i requested them, so i could not even try the food. very disappointing
Its not a bad place, but not for all. We ordered pho number one in the menu. Portions are really big even a small size. Water and tea are free.
I used to frequent this place but I can t justify paying the price for the quality. It s tasty but nothing better than the average. The prices have gone up about 100% over 2 years and it s now over $20 for simple pho.
Food was good, a little on the expensive side compared to other pho restaurants. They have different priced menus depending on time of the day. The 24/7 option was nice though when other pho restaurants close earlier.
Really tasty but absurdly expensive. A small pho came out to $20. I can get the same thing for $12 just a few blocks away
Decent food. Nothing super special. We ordered a large and the portions weren t that special either. What was special, however, was the price. I thought I walked into Holt Renfrew. $22 for a large bowl of pho is almost double compared to other places that I have gone to. If I had to assume, this is probably because of cost of food increasing and their landlord increasing the rent every year. The sign says it s cash only. So, I was going to go to the ATM that s conveniently located at the back of the restaurant. Turns out they do accept card. You have to ask. I wish they d keep the kitchen door closed. I regret glancing into the kitchen after eating their food.
Expensive! table set up is horrible, squeezing every chair, you almost could smell another tables meal. Food
Overall the food is high quality and both their rice and their soup base is excellent. Pricing is a bit high but acceptable once we get to know the quality, justified. The place is quite quiet and typically what you would expect at a regular restaurant.
The best place for after club eats.
There arent many foreigners in the place but the service is amazing my Vietnamese beef dish was the favorite. A very delicious meal or soup the best. For the first time I ate it I loved it, I thank the Japanese who invited us.
We ordered 2 medium pho and the meat wasn t cooked and was grey, looked bad. Told them we didn t want to pay for and said they would discount us and still paid $32.00 for a meal I took one bite of. The worst wish I could rate it -10000000000000/10
Love this place, always consistent, if you there at noon or midnight or 7am, the phó is always hot and large!
Bless PHO PASTEUR on Dundas for being open 24 hours a day because I had a major craving for a GRILLED PORK AND SPRING ROLL VERMICELLI BOWL during a night shift one day, which led me to Google what spots would be open at 7:30 am for me to snatch some up on my way home (ha). It was definitely a good portion of food. The entire bottom layer was vermicelli and as you can see, they provided enough toppings for all the noodles. The grilled pork was flavorful and the spring rolls were big, filled, and so crisp. I love that they also accompanied the dish with some cucumber, bean sprouts, shredded lettuce, and pickled raddish. Honestly though, Im thankful for the portion because theyre definitely on the pricey side. If it wasnt for the fact that theyre open at hours where others arent, Id probably choose to go elsewhere. Note: CASH ONLY.
Great spot especially nice its open 24hrs Prices have gone up but obviously inflation has to do with that
3.5 Not bad, prices r high but thats bc theyre 24hrs, what do u expect lol. They give lots of toppings/protein, I especially like their bun rieu
Not sure why this place has such low ratings. Ive been here many times and have always had a good experience. I usually get the vegetable and tofu pho (pictured). I wouldnt go here during the daytime or expect anything fancy or special, but I love it more for the late night vibe. Its the perfect spot for drunk munchies. The food just hits the spot. Plus its a fun to people-watch the clientele that comes here at 3am. Quite entertaining.
Food is quite good and service is not disappointing. Just a very down to earth Vietnamese restaurant. 24/7 operations but watch out for their late night menu because an extra large special pho cost more than $30.
Awesome food
Favourite pho spot in Toronto great for late nights
Delicious pho and they are 24/7 again
Only a minute into coming in and the staffs were already being racist behind our backs. I understood every single word they said, wouldn t support this business.
We headed here for some pho at three in the morning and didnt regret it. The grilled pork with rice was really good and the portions were massive, DEFINITELY more than enough for two normal eaters. The smallest beef pho was also very generously portioned, and the spring rolls looked very appetising, although the taro gave it a slightly sourish edge that made us worried, so the restaurant very kindly brought it back and offered to replace it or have the cost lopped off our final bill. The Vietnamese coffee was POTENT. It was so good, and the coffee had a velvety, chocolatey flavour to it. Delicious! The best part was how this place was still buzzing with energy, even at three in the morning. We entered as another table of about five people were finishing up their food, after which we were the only table left. Thinking of returning for a fuller meal because the menu was so extensive, even though our hotel is quite a fair distance away. If youre thinking of something hot, nourishing, and delicious in the wee hours, head over here! Oh, and their house chilli sauce was delicious as well. They also have fresh birds eye chillies, which was a pleasant surprise.
Great late night Pho. Hits the spot everytime.
I used to go here a lot and it was always full. But now it s almost empty even in busy dining time. U know why? They increase price too much. Like $5-7 more expensive than other pho restaurants. Doesn t make sense at all.
Tasty
Gross. Dirty water and didn t replace. Too much msg. Greasy. Overpriced
Late nights to early morning stop before calling a good night with friends done. This pho stop has everything good for a nightcap
I used to live in Kensington market and visit this place frequently. Has great chats with Andy who was always wonderful. The food was always okay. I walked into this place to grab a late night bite on Friday night. The prices have gone up on every item $8-$10. Meaning a SMALL bowl of pho is now 22$ !!!! Thats an astronomical amount for a bowl of pho, considering the ingredient cost of rice noodles and animal parts to make broth. I will not be returning, unfortunately.
Honestly not sure who is trying to bring this place down by lowering the ratings it s not accurate. This pho place is fantastic. They re very busy in the middle of the night and even when they re packed they serve fast. One thing: Cash only! But there is an ATM in the back. Also great veggie options. Vegetarian options: Very good
I received poor service last night for a late night meal as I wanted to eat by myself. I ordered Pho soup, left my jacket on the chair and then went to the washroom. The restaurant was busy but they shouldn t gave away my table to another two customers while I was in the washroom. There were a few empty tables further in this restaurant. Good thing another table was available to sit nearby as the previous customer on that table finished and left and I got my Pho soup order shortly after I arrived from the washroom. The food are all overpriced as I learned reading the recent reviews here as they recently jacked up the menu prices. I won t be coming here again.
24 hour with pretty good ph .
Mixed feelings. The pho itself I would rate 4-5 stars. The pho / broth is very flavorful and yummy, but maybe that s because the kitchen staff did not wash his hands after using their toilet. Quite sad to give such low ratings, because the food is actually good.
Good food. Good staff. Clean table. Bathroom doesn t double as a broom closet. What else you want? Lol
Loved this place for many years. Solid pho open all night, I understand this is a difficult service to offer. 19.99$ for a small basic pho does not make any sense.
24-hour open is very great. However the prices are coming up gradually. This makes me don t wanna come often.
When I came out of the bar, I was counting on getting some poutine from Smokes that Google said was still open. That, sadly, wasnt the case, but I was still hungry. The other option was Popeyes or pho. 24-hr pho, whats not to like? Silly me for thinking the place would not even be busy but the place was buzzing! Everyone and anyone who came out from a club/bar was there! The lovely gentleman very kindly shared his spring rolls with me coz he ordered too much, I happily offered my help to ending food wastage. I like how the spring rolls got nicely fried but the spring rolls was simply too but the fillings were falling out and it loses that finger food touch. Would I complain about free food? No, but would I order it again? Probably not. The pho finally came! It did the trick now its almost 4am. Like the beef was still very pink, the broth was delicious. Make sure you have cash tho, coz they only take cash!
Went here at 8:30 in the morning and had some really good pho. It s open 24 hours so it s a great spot for late night.
I ve been coming here for past 6 years
Its a small restaurant but excellent food. I loved it
I first tried this in 2015. Its still quite good.
The portions for the price is not good. A small plate of spring rolls for 18$? A family size plate for 27.99 which is not even enough to feed a 4 month old toddler. Got scammed pretty hard. Dont recommend this place at all.
Really filthy, but thats to be expected from a late-night pho establishment. When they realize that nothing else is available late at night except this spot, you know theyre not going to give you high-quality foods or noodles. I normally wouldnt be a Karen about a place but this one was just to warn people about the filth...taste is ok thou not too bad
The food was good, and the service was also okay. The girl that served us the food seemed a bit bothered in a way. And oh boy, the prices were expensive. $16.99 for one small bowl?? But I ll give it two stars because of the food.
tofu and vegetables pho is chicken broth :( please make a vegetarian or vegan broth
Warm up for 5 minutes with some light cardio, such as jogging, skipping, or jumping jacks.
My boyfriend and I wanted Pho at 4:30am after a night of drinking and seeing Pantera. This place was phoCKING 10/10. We actually went back immediately for seconds haha.
Ive been a regular on their UberEats menu, so I thought Id drop by in person. The place could be tidier, to be honest. The grilled chicken hits the spot, but the vermicelli was very sticky and not good. The server was friendly though. Its alright overall, but there are better Vietnamese spots out there.
I gotta say this is some of the best Pho i ve had in a while, a close second in my books and the customer service is amazing. I had eaten earlier but my girlfriend was hungry so I asked if we could split a large Pho and the server/cashier brought extra bowls and everything we would need to split the huge meal into portions we could share. Will definitely be coming again highly recommend if you aren t pretentious and expecting of a fine dining experience at a 24 hour spot.
Was on our way home and a bit hungry late at night so we decided to go for some Pho. The price for a small bowl is $20 after 10pm. That price gouging is insane. We just walked out.
when a bowl of pho is now $18, you really question if you should just make it yourself lol.
I bought a pho there with my friend. I saw a piece of black string and random stuff inside my soup. I complained to the man and he offered me a new one. I was too grossed out and lost my appetite. I should of taken a picture but I was so gross out to forget to take it. Then when I was checking out. They wanted me to pay for it. He said don t ever come back, if you don t pay for it. When it s their fault. This is a food and safety issue. Don t come here, it s gross. How many years this place is running their business and they said that to me? Don t come to this place. Gross. I feel like he tricked me to get me a new one and pulled a fast move on me, so I forgot to take the picture of the soup so I can post it here online. That s how messed up. I don t lie about something this serious.
My favorite downtown Pho broth, excellent for late night eats or to clear a cold. Authentic spices, food. Very friendly and accommodating service - they have gluten free options. Order the extra meat for your pho if youre carnivorous, replace the noodles with vegetables if carb free, and they can make sure your food has no gluten in it. If youre feeling gluttonous, finish with an Avocado shake. Sad that the Carrot shake is no longer an option :( Excellent late night spot, close to the clubbing district - open 24h. Lunch, Dinner and 3 am are peak hours, you may have to wait (but its sooooo worth it)
Even though prices increased everywhere, but you will find their serving portion is substantial , good bang for the buck !
Nothing special, only upside its open late
This place used to be affordable but now (2023) it s ridiculous. $20 for a small, $17 for spring rolls, $22 for a large, it makes no sense, it s laughable. But people will pay it cuz they re drunk. Their day time menu could be completely different. It s a smart business model, we have to stay up to serve drunk people, so we ll charge them an arm and leg. The pho is decent but honestly just save 50% and go get Cantonese food up the street.
No frills pho place, exactly as advertised. Enormous portions, I will follow the waitress suggestion to get a half order of rolls next time. (The pic shows a Small* pho!) I arrived at before 8am. Service was really kind, food arrived so quickly. The place is clean, bright and quiet. Thank you.
Great place for late night food
It s sucks. I can give ZERO STAR!!The food is not fresh. It s expensive and small portion of food. We ordered 4 dishes. 2 of 4 dishes are not fresh. We are so disappointed! The taste is weird! It s different I told the waiter, but he didn t do anything. There has hairs inside , it s disgusting. We won t come back here again.TERRIBLE SERVICE! Not recommended to come here!
Late night menu is from Aug 2023. I wouldn t go back. The taste wasn t too good, and the soup wasn t hot so my meat wouldnt cook in the soup. The portions were big though!
They are very lovely people! My grandma lost her favourite scarf and when I got the name of the place she went to for dinner for thanksgiving. When she told me she lost it there, I called and asked about the scarf. The staff confirmed the scarf was found and kept it safe and clean for me to pick it up. Thank you for making her day! She will be so happy to have it back.
I came here one time at 2 am after a ski trip and had the largest bowl of pho. It really hit the spot. I ve come here on numerous occasions even at 4 am and it never misses. It s crazy how it s still bumping even when it s 4 am
i ordered Hu Tieu My Tho, zero taste and expensive as well
Huuuuge portions, huuuuge flavor and the curried goat is AWESOME
Ordered a very simple delivery order. One dish and a drink. Some genius at the restaurant decided to pack the drink sideways. Same style of wrapping as bubble tea. So a plastic cup with a thin plastic cover. In what should be a surprise to absolutely no one, the drink spilled everywhere. All over my food, all over the items in the bag. So not only did I not get the $10(!!!) dollar drink I ordered, but my food came swimming in it. The food is alright but definitely not worth the crazy high price.
I have been looking for a consistently late night spot to eat at for ages and I came across this restaurant. Food tastes authentic, you can tell from the moment you walk in. Little expensive but understandable being open 24/7. Will definitely be coming back.
Nothing special, decent meal, great portion size and fast service
Good pho and the food portions are really great, so much so that I thought one bowl would almost suffice ten people. Try it.
Delicious pho, priced well. Open 24hrs, we went after a rally at around 6pm on a Saturday. There were plenty tables available the food was delicious, znd it warmed us right up, and so did those hot pepper slices. Wowza!
Fairly typical Pho restaurant. The Pho Dac Biet was quite good, also had the crab soup vermicelli which was okay but wouldnt get it again.
Terrible food and awful taste.
It was my first visit, and it was quite mediocre. I ordered pho, but I didnt realize I forgot to specify my size I needed a small. I was quite shocked to see how large the portion appeared, thinking it is a small. The only issue is that the noodles are very short about 4 inches so I hardly used my chopsticks at all I mostly used the spoon instead. Other than that, the taste was great, with enough of meat and noodles. When I went up to pay after we finished our meal, the employee informed me that we had been given a medium. When I questioned why, they stated it was because we had forgotten to put down our size. Though I completely realize that we failed to mention the size, that doesnt mean she can infer that we preferred a medium; instead, she could have sought clarification. I dont care about paying the extra dollar, I just wish they wont make the same mistake.
Incredible as usual. Get the spring rolls, they are truly revolutionary
Trying to charge $20 for 2 spring rolls lol
I ve been told this place has been around for a really long time and it s family owned. Boyfriend and I both had a large pho soup and it cost $50. Prices has increase throughout the years yes but damn.
If you see an old lady wearing black glasses, just simply save yourself a good time, running away while you still can. Not sure how people are trained here. I often come 2-3 times a week. Today, Dec 12, around 8.30pm I came as usual, there was an old lady wearing black glasses, asking if I wanna order any food?! in an extremely annoyingly rude manner. Cuz Im alleric to some ingredients in the dish, just wanted to ask if there was anything I could do like replacing the one with something else. She threw at me a super frustrating look just because I said the wrong names for the dish numbers. Cuz I always ordered the 19 and 66, the other servers know me so I dont even have to bother myself what names they are. I asked if I could talk to the other people and she was why do you need to talk to him (the guy I was asking to talk to) in her alien language I couldnt bare her attitude so I just left, wasting my wacking time.
Service 24H/7
$18 for bread and fried eggs
Very mediocre tasteless food with a price tag of a high end restaurant. How do you end up spending $30+/person for such basic food. Ive read other reviews and everyones been complaining about the price hikes. Whoevers reading this, go elsewhere.
