I am always searching for the best Bun Bo Hue in Toronto. The authentic version is what I grew up eating, this included pork blood jello cubes, a slow braised pork hock, red cabbage, been sprouts etc. I have found that numerous Vietnamese restaurants no longer offer pork blood jello or slow braised pork hocks. I am not sure as to why but they are greatly missed. This is unfortunate but they do make up for the loss with other meaty ingredients such as beef brisket, Vietnamese pork ham (Ch l a) etc. My experience at Pho Phuong was a very good one. All the ingredients were fresh, the Bun Bo Hue broth was spot on with lemongrass and it was pleasantly spicy. I also ordered the Goi Cuon, fresh rice paper rolls with pork, shrimp, lettuce and herbs, they were very very fresh as well. If you are searching for great Vietnamese food then try Pho Phuong! This place is a gem. Always fresh, generous portions and tasty, bonus they give you fresh chilis when asked. It s a bit out of the way for me so I order delivery more often then go, but I enjoy it when I do go. I guess I think of this place as comfort food. I get the pho or com tam all the time.

Ordered the spicy rare beef satay pho. Didn t taste authentic & wasn t spicy. Lacked flavour. My friend got the chicken ban mi & the chicken was rubbery. I ve had better ban mi s from ban mi boys. The spring rolls were good tho.

Best pho in Dundas W. got the mixed seafood and veggies pho and they were generous with the seafood, unlike other pho places. Plenty of shrimp and other seafood and the broth es exquisite. Highly recommend!

Will never order from here again! Ordered Pho and a chicken dish and both were unsavoury and unappealing with dry old-tasting meat and the pho soup had some pale spam meat in the dish. I threw everything out! I Definitely DO NOT recommend. Yuck!

We ve been here a few times but only for the chè (number 110 on the menu). It s coconut milk with shaved ice and 3 different kinds of beans. It s the perfect sweetness and it hits the spot on a hot day. Can t speak to the rest of the food but highly recommend trying the chè if you get a chance!

I would not recommend this place. Also not sure how they have one dollar sign, maybe from a previous menu. Food taste is good. Portions for price is poor at best. Servers are not very attentive either.

One of the best Bun bo hue dish I ve had, and same goes for their Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk. 100 percent recommend. Can t wait to come back and try their other dishes. Recent visit: Got myself a pho dac biet (large) which was a very clean broth and flavourful. I was pleased with the portion size but was kinda bummed on the amount of beef tendon was too much compared to actual meat like the rare beef, beef brisket. Everything else was a good amount. The Vietnamese filtered coffee with condensed milk still hits like a brick. If that s the caffeine you re looking for.

Vietnamese restaurant with great dishes. The design of the restaurant is elegant with pleasant ambient music and beautiful bouquets of flowers. The dishes were authentic and delicious. The mango salad was wonderful and delicious. The fried pancake dish was wonderful with a subtle taste of coconut. Me and my partner were in the area and were craving Pho. By far one of the better spots in the GTA! Restaurant was beautiful, service was amazing, and the broth was amazing! The Vietnamese coffee was so strong, and was perfect. Definitely will be going there more often!

Fresh spring rolls are 3.. freeh rolls ------------------ Its a taste I want to repeat so much that I want to go again tomorrow! The rice noodle coconut milk and sesame soup is especially delicious. I was surprised by the amount of basil on the side. For the sweet drink, my husband ordered lychee tea with tapioca. I dont really like bubble tea, but this was the best Ive ever had. The store clerk didnt talk much (maybe it was awkward because our English wasnt perfect), but when we asked questions, she didnt make any unpleasant faces and responded with a smile, making us feel welcome. The menu is quite extensive, so we recommend checking out what you want to eat. The pho I had here was pretty good. Decent service. They had a patio last summer which was nice not sure about this year. I do frequent this place cause I like the food enough to come back. And I m looking forward to eating there again in the near future. Worth checking out if you are in the area and feel like a good bowl of pho.

The food here is generally pretty good however I have to leave a 2 star review due to carelessness. I had ordered a chicken pad Thai to go and specifically said no peanuts due to my allergy. I understand there s always the possibility of cross contamination, however when I got Home and began eating I found a few peanuts in the food.

This is a MUST TRY if youre looking for the C m T m in Toronto. I had thought that the experience I had from several Vietnamese restaurants before this one, had been good enough until I tried this one. The fish sauce, which is the soul of the C m T m dishes, is tremendous. They made it so tasty, especially the fragrant flavor from the fish sauce, not like the plain ones from the other restaurants. Yet, the Steamed crab cake is also a star here which still preserves the soft texture and crab flavor. All the side dishes like pickled carrots - radish and the veggies still remain juicy. I will return because I got addicted in the C m T m here.

We walked in this place hesitantly because of the rating. After eating lunch here with 3 other people, it is completely puzzling why reviews are not favourable. The food was absolutely delicious. Fair prices. Quick prompt service. Perhaps its not as fine dining as they claim, but the food is great. Definitely will come back.

I am a regular at pho phoung. Everytime I go it s been a great experience. This time i decided to Uber eat my meal.. all I got was the fat of the brisket. Im so disappointed

The food was amazing, however, the staff was not. I was ordering a takeout and they barely addressed me, they rudely gave me a menu and didn t say anything. I have order in restaurants like this before and understand de writing the system. But this was not nice.

I have been frequenters here since few years back. Usually the service is really good, fast and friendly. Food is decently priced. But over the year maybe after the pandemic theyve gone down hill in terms of service and the quality of the food They need to work on improving their food and their service. They served us the wrong order and took over 45 minutes to serve. Everyone seemed confused and the food was underwhelming at best. They serve diner quality food for high end prices.Service wasn t friendly, food lacked flavour. Overpriced for the lacklustre food and experience. Wouldn t recommend when there are so many other interesting cheaper better quality options in the neighbourhood.

Com Tam here is the best in town ( 5 colours broken rice ) The fish sauce is lit! Tasting like I was in Saigon where this dish came from. Amzing food!

This was my first time ordering from here and my experience was awful. I found not one but two black hairs in my vermicelli dish. I had called and asked for another to be delivered or if I d be able to receive a refund and they wouldn t do either. worst customer service

Always late when ordered for takeout or delivery. Staff Always say order will be ready in 2-3 mins and end up waiting more than 20 mins. This happens always, so make sure to order accordingly. There is no suitable parking outside and might endup getting tickets waiting for the order

Food is delicious, but it also looks just as good. I had great service at this place before covid and for takeout. Those fancy bubble tea drinks are bomb!

Hands down, the best Vietnamese cuisine around. Ordered for a corporate lunch for my colleagues and myself and it was the best! Food came on time, hot and fresh, with tons of extras and generous portions!!! I would highly recommend you pop in and try it for yourself. Will not compare to anywhere else.

Food here is so good. The broth taste amazing and the portions are well balanced. The spring rolls are my favourite. Also tried their new special drinks and i would highly recommend. I ordered the Oh so peachy and it is so refreshing. Definitely coming back to try the other flavours.

First time here, though weve lived really close and have always passed it. The presentation and service are top end. All bases covered for the Pho dish: fresh basil and sprouts and dandelion greens. Classic tall can of Tiger made this meal kinda perfect. The pic is Bún xào, and it was very sprouty, but had lots of shaved pork and small shrimp. The Phos broth had a lot of clove - more than others in the hood, but it was still delicious.

Never even got to eat here because they didnt complete my DoorDash order. I had to cancel my order after waiting for 50 minutes from the time they confirmed my order.

Decent Pho. The portion was good for the price and the service was also fairly quick.

Ive gotten food at this place several times and theyve delivered consistently good quality and great- tasting food. I used to eat at their patio a few times too when I lived closer to their location. Fist time ordering here. Ordered through ritual and waited 25min after it read pickup on the app and still did not get everything I ordered and a partial refund was not possible. They substituted with spring rolls and crispy dumplings, each tasting only okay, I guess I was expecting something a little less greasy. The signature app with pork and black mushrooms was completely without flavour, that must have been a prep error. The rare beef pho was fine but I m comparing it to pho Nho down the road which is the best pho we ve ever had (they are closed Tuesday, the day I wanted pho) The beef quality was excellent, really nicely selected and cut, and the sauces and preparation very nice. Very friendly staff that seemed completely overwhelmed at the moment when I was there. I felt bad for them. I would not eat here again, so many other options that have their ducks in a row.

One of my favorite Pho spots in the city and definitely the best in Parkdale. The basics are all done to perfection, as their broth is truly spectacular. They also offer an interesting budget menu for small or single items, perfect for adding that little extra something to your soup or noodle plate (like a fried egg, or a single pork chop). A favorite of mine for when you are feeling adventurous is the Pho Tai Date, a rich and spicy rare beef soup with the nutty, savoury goodness of Sesame seeds in a velvety coconut milk broth.

Excellent affordable Vietnamese Restaurant! Lots of food choices! The servers are friendly and respectful. The place is clean and tidy. I had Beef Brisket phou which I enjoyed. Shrimp and spring rolls appetizers and banana split for dessert I will recommend this place to anyone looking to experience Vietnamese cuisine. Pho Phuong is the place.

If you are thinking of eating rice noodles in Korea, you may be disappointed. If you want hot soup, I recommend it. The portions are large.

Decent grub, unfortunately frustrating service. Arrived with a group of three for late lunch on a Saturday. Place wasnt too busy and we promptly ordered tea, an appetizer and a bowl of soup each. Appetizer and tea arrived at the same time as the soups, which would have been fine, but we were missing an ordered bowl. Didnt comment on the missing third bowl right away, but we assumed it would be coming soon. No one came by, and our last soup was still MIA, so we needed to flag down a server and check in. About another five minutes later, a different server came by and asked if we were missing anything. By the time the soup came out, (in a different size we ordered to boot) it had been close to 15 minutes from the earlier arrival of the food. Would have been nice if our group was actually, ya know, able to eat at the same time. After the mistake, servers seemed to avoid our table, and we eventually had to go up and request our bill after 10+ more minutes of waiting (no comp or discount was offered, could have at least offered to comp the tea). Only got a verbal apology after paying, and from a server unrelated to the mix up to boot. I get that mistakes happen, but we got no explanation, and an unsatisfactory apology that made the visit a frustrating experience. The confusion and lack of responsibility from the front of house makes me apprehensive to return.

The food is true authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Too much meat for one portion - said no one. The place not only offers regular dishes as other places but also special items such as Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) or Banh Mi. I know the banh mi you can just get it at Asian grocery stores sometimes, but I dont think it will taste amazing like Pho Phuong has. Im so happy the place is still trying to survive during the Covid thing . Really cant wait to go back inside, eat my meal and enjoy my hot drip Vietnamese coffee on the side. I ordered the coffee couple times through Uber but the time I got it, the coffee is not hot as I want.

Gave this place another try hoping that my previous bad experience was just a fluke. The first time: I ordered take out, a rice dish. I didnt notice they had upgraded my order and charged me more than for what I had actually ordered until I got home. My upgraded order included a pork chop (I dont eat pork at all) and I was upset. I called and the man who answered said that since they had been dead all day that he upgraded my order for a bigger sale. What the hell? Today I tried again and ordered a noodle dish that came with 3 kinds of beef and some shrimp. I checked my order as soon as I left the restaurant and sure enough the shrimp was missing. I called and was given the run around about why my order was missing the shrimp that I paid for. Finally they agreed to give me the shrimp and I went back to pick it up. The food quality both times was perfectly average and the serving sizes are alot smaller in terms of meat to noodle ratio size while the price is on avg $3 higher than other Vietnamese restaurants for the same dish. Disappointing food and even more disappointing customer service.

The two dishes I ordered here were delicious! Reminded me of my moms homemade meals. The flavours were good and the vegetables were fresh. Was happy to see broken rice with the com cause most Vietnamese restaurants I go to now just serve it with jasmine rice. Would of been better if my bun came with mint/basil.

My absolute go-to for Vietnamese! The menu is excellent and everything I have tried there I have really enjoyed. Great for take-out or dine in (I like their big windows for people watching while you eat). Restaurant in clean and staff are friendly. This place is legit and very accessibly priced. 5/5
