I ordered a pork belly bahn mi and an iced viet coffee I headed off to a concert in the area. Both were incredibly delicious and reasonably priced, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I will definitely be back if Im ever in the area again!

Best vegan pho in the city!

Ive lost count of how many times Ive ordered from here! Without a doubt, this is the best pho in Toronto. I always get the grilled chicken pho, and its perfect every single time. The flavours are incredible so rich and packed with umami. If youre looking for a pho spot, you *have* to try the grilled chicken. You won t be disappointed!

I came here because they have a large vegan menue. Unfortunately it was absolutely terrible. They brought me a dirty cup. The menues are all wripped and dirty The ingredients are very poor quality. Ingredients Missing from my dish that are listed on the menue. Poor service. Never checked on us once. Anything would have been better. Chinese mall food is better than this for Pete sakes. And over $6 for a black coffee?! Is this owner insane?!

Delicious and not too expensive!

I ordered a dish of udon noodle with tofu and portebello mushroom. The dish came without the mushroom so I asked about they brought me some mushroom in bowl to make up for the mistake. Two tiny slivers, pictured below. Pathetic.

They have many vegan menus, besides normal non-vegan foods. The price is reasonable and foods are fresh. They also have a variety of drinks and alcohol. Vegetarian options: I had vegan pho and it was tasty.

Ive been exploring the vegan menu at Phosome for some months now, and everything has been absolutely delicious! Favourites have been the vegan pad Thai and the vegan box (Bahn mi); in fact, no matter what I order, I generally get the Bhan Mi to go, for lunch the next day. My omnivores friends have enjoyed the omni menu too. Service could be improved; but the food is delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!

Quick service, tasty food, good prices. Worth a stop. Also looks like a good vegan menu if that s your thing.

I really love you guys. Whether I order pickup or delivery, or dine in your restaurant, the experience is always great. Your staff are kind, accommodating and just lovely in general. Food is fresh, quantities are generous, your prices are reasonable, and you kindly add extra bean sprouts whenever I request them. Perfect location to catch the neighbourhood vibes and I love that you keep the front of the restaurant wide open in the summer. I am grateful that you are my neighbors. Banh Mi was on point. Fresh bread, overflowing ingredients, sizeable portion of BBQ pork and it all came together so nicely. Raw beef Pho also good with noodles perfectly done and a nice clear beef broth with mellow but distinct flavor. Nothing overly fancy and it really hit the spot. Came on a lazy Sunday early afternoon with expected quick service. Atmosphere is a bit dated with a counter that looks catered to the delivery/takeout crowd, but not expecting anything super nice if you just want a nice and delicious meal.

Had the Pho, great flavour. Good value. I didn t think I would finish the huge bowl but I did! A mix of booths and tables. Well spaced and looks new. Street parking is GreenP.

Very disappointing! Many items are labeled gluten free, but they arent. No dedicated fryer. LOTS of cross contamination (ex. fried tofu put in gluten free pho). No gluten free sauces, so the pho was bland. Dietary restrictions: Not celiac safe!

Under the weather and feeling for vegan soup. Did a search for pho near me, called, placed an order, walked over to pick it up, 10min there and back 20 min total. I ordered their Vegan Curry Noodle Soup Tofu roll, fried tofu, potato, yam, taro, carrot, plantain, squad cook in coco-curry soup served with vermicelli, onion, coriander, fresh lime, beansprout & basil on side (no MSG). Gluten free. OMG, so delicious and filling!!! I approve of this soup and will go back to try their other vegan and regular dishes. Vegetarian options: There are other vegan/vegetarian friendly dishes available.

Wheelchair accessibility: The access is at street level, and the entire restaurant is on one level. Toilets are in the basement. So, although it is accessible for dining, access to toilets will be a problem for one in a wheelchair.

We went to Phosome for take out from their vegan menu -- they have 2 menus, one vegan, one for omnivores. Everything we ordered was very flavourful. They made substitutions cheerfully, having no trouble letting us tailor our meal a little bit to our needs. We found it difficult to order over the phone with them, but the food was prepared quickly once we went in and ordered in person. We definitely recommend this restaurant for the delicious dishes, generous portions, and pleasant service. We will definitely go to Phosome for take out again. Vegetarian options: There are not a huge number of vegan options, but there are a good handful, so that there is something for everyone. We had no trouble each finding something we were excited to try. Dietary restrictions: The menu clearly explains which dishes are gluten-free, and our specifications of requesting everything be gluten-free were cheerfully met. Additionally, we cant eat peppers, and they cheerfully replaced them with other vegetables.

Banh mis are sometimes excellent and sometimes just okay, and the prices are a bit confusing/inconsistent, but overall I like this spot. Really appreciate their vegan selections.

The service is solid and the pho has a good broth. Its not at all oily and seems to be slow cooked for the right amount of time. The beef brisket pho is pretty good in both portion and taste. You have the option to ask for the bean sprouts to be served cooked. Seating is ample and spaced apart well.

Ordered delivery & loved the Beef Brisket pho, Hot & sour seafood noodle soup & Beef Banh Mi. Would recommend all three, and will definitely order again.. or stop by! Their takeout packaging is also great, really appreciate these details!

My friend and I have gone a couple times for takeout Banh Mi. We will not be going again. The last time we went, the guy at the counter took a very long time to take my order even though the restaurant didnt seem that busy. He took my order, I paid, and I waited at the front of the restaurant. My friend waited for her order to be taken but when she finally got a chance to talk to the front counter, she was told that they couldnt take any more orders - they were out of supplies for Banh Mi. She asked about my order and was told I had been given my order already. I then went to the front counter myself and told them I had been waiting for some time, if they couldnt make my order I wanted a refund. He gave me a cash refund after some back-and-forth. From order to refund, my friend and I waited about 35 minutes. We were lied to and neither of us got food. Easily could have gone to the subway down the street and gotten something in that amount of time.

Their bubble tea was straight up water. $6 for boba and iced water.

The vegan options here are amazing! Especially the vermicelli crispy roll bowl! And gluten free! I have had this place a few times now and have always really enjoyed. Only issue was a mixup on a takeout order that left one person in my group a little disappointed, but those things happend everywhere and this place is great!

It was perfect , PERECT. I dont eat much but when I do I follow my palate. It might have been snowing outside but the staff members were lovely , thank you to the cute guy who served us yasss. Excellent pho - my girlfriend (she s viet) loves this place!

We ordered the banh mi (sandwiches) with lenongrass beef and salmon teriyaki. It was $7.50 each. My favourite was the lemongrass beef. The chicken pho was filling. We also ordered an avocado smoothie and it was delicious. It was also nice seeing vegan/vegetarian options.

Delicious vegan pho. Many vegan choices, clearly marked. Friendly service and decent atmosphere. Would recommend and will return!

Not clean. Table stinks. Smells like it was with week-old dirty table clothes. Plastic utensils have dirt on them. The spoon has a piece of old green onion. First and last time there.

This was a real hard review to write as I am on the fence with how I feel. We ordered two rare beef pho for delivery, have ordered pho delivered before but first time from here and this is where the problem lies. When the pho was delivered the rare beef was basically cooked well done and this is before we even heat up the broth and put it in. Take some well cooked beef and cook it some more, you get the picture. The broth and other items should be packaged separate as clearly the heat from the broth cooked everything being in the same bag. The flavour of the pho itself was good however they didn t include any hoisin sauce just a little siracha. Maybe if I have a chance to go in person and check it out I will come back and give another review.

The portions of meat in the bahn mi and the pho were very good. Overall the taste was great as well. Value for the money also is excellent, especially for the area. Highly recommend to visit if you enjoy Vietnamese food.

Pho was delicious but pricy.

It s very difficult to find vegan options are Vietnamese restaurants, so finding this gem was perfect for my girls day food adventure! The staff here were so incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu, although small in comparison to a typical viet menu, had all the the right options! I ordered the shrimp and pork salad roll, as well as the steamed chicken pho. (My friend is the vegan, not myself) Portions were perfect, food was fresh, and the flavour was sooooo good. I almost always add hot sauce and oyster sauce to my pho from the beginning but I found myself finishing half my bowl before adding any flavours! While I did not have the vegan pho, the feedback from my friend was incredibly positive, and boy were they happy this option existed. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Looking forward to trying their Bahn mi in the future too!

I had some high hopes for this place but i have no idea why this establishment has a 4.3 star review. I wasnt expecting the most amazing pho but i wasnt expecting the amount of communication issues that i had yesterday. The first issue is the way their ordering system works (or doesn t). Generally in every viet place ive ever been to you write the quantity and then the item. I happened to write 1 11 and the waiter didnt really confirm what we wanted and brought over two bowls of pho. Regardless this is very simple resolution however the waiter decided to shift the blame on us. When the pho came the steak pho literally came with 2 skewers of steak which is probably the same amount you would get in a bahn mi. Whatever it was $18 as listed on the menu which i will touch on later. They also dont give you cilantro and don t have fresh chilli s which they didnt say but gave me some chili sauce instead. (I dont really like chili sauce but wouldnt have taken it if the lady wouldve told me they dont have fresh chili) They give you the thinnest piece of napkin throughout the entirety of your dinner. My friend ordered the bahn mi and the bread was incredibly stale. I went to the washroom and there was a homeless man in the stall; i had brought this to the staffs attention in which they responded is he bothering you? I mean no, but the grunts and moans coming from the stall were concerning and if someone needed to use the stall their customers wont be able to. At the time of payment they charger me $19 for the steak pho which it was $18 on their menu. Anyways there are plenty of vietnamese places that arent gauging and giving extremely small portions for the amount of money these guys are charging. Never coming back.

Delicious food at a good price, large portions, nice interior. I had vegan hue soup and crispy spicy tofu banh mi, both were delicious, portion size is good for sharing. Vegetarian options: They have a whole separate menu page just for vegan options and four different kinds of vegan banh mi, also veggie dumplings and spring rolls. Overall, a very good selection for vegans or vegetarians.

Phosome is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant! I can t speak to the dining-in experience as we ve only ever ordered in but we do so a few times a month. Their pho is delicious and it s celiac friendly (for my husband who needs to eat gluten free, he s never had an issue!). The grilled chicken pho and the spicy lemongrass pork vermicelli bowl are my favourites.

Best pho I ve had hands down, the meat,noodles and especially the broth sublime always a go to for me.

The oxtail sate pho was FIRE. Definitely one of my favourite pho dishes, and the portion sizes were really good! I asked for it to be mild as it s usually pretty spicy. Note that oxtail meat is on bones and is a little less than I was expecting. The seating arrangement in the summer with the window open was a nice touch!

I ordered it because the review were good among the various pho restaurants. I drank a lot yesterday, so I need a hangover, so it was perfect. It was filled with meat and the soup taste is so good. I will eat again !!!

Expensive bland Pho

Had a bahn mi and an ice coffee and it was a lovely little meal for a nich price. Simple dining experience and would go again to try a larger meal.

I came here for lunch to have a soup. The music was so loud I could barely hear myself think. The beef in the soup tasted old not fresh and so many flies! One ended up in my soup! The service was horrible, no one approached my table to ask how everything was! If you re on Parliament I recommend Saigon Pai!

Prices on the vegan menu seem to have gone up (see updated menu) but it s still a solid amount of food for the price. PLUS if you pay cash, any order of $15 or more gets discounted 10%! The vermicelli plate was great, especially the crispy roll. Could ve used a bit more veggie, included bean sprouts or something though...it was a lotta noodle. The patio doesn t seem to be a thing anymore and the window-wall was closed, but wanted to sit outside. They let us haul a couple of chairs and single table into the tiny covered area which was very accommodating. Even tried to help us bring them in afterward which was very sweet. Looking forward to another visit

The food was good overall, I like the spring roll. I had pho special and some of the tendons were very hard. Very nice and kind staff. 4 stars because of the pricing, it was a bit pricey but understandable though. $18 pho + $7.50 spring roll. Will definitely come back.

I recently dined at Phosome, and there were some pros and cons to my experience. On the plus side, the portions were big, the staff was friendly, and the food itself earned a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. I must say, their banh mi sandwich and pho were exceptionally tasty, and the prices were quite reasonable. However, on the downside, cleanliness seemed to be a bit of an issue. There were lots of flies buzzing around, and I couldnt help but notice some hygiene concerns. One of the staff members was wearing latex gloves while cleaning, but then she dipped her fingers into the pho bowl, touching the soup, and later touched dirty furniture while moving tables. It left me a bit uneasy. Despite this, Id give Phosome a solid 4 out of 5 overall. The food is good enough to tolerate the other quirks, but its definitely not an upscale dining experience, and the interior could use some improvement, earning it a 3 out of 5 in that department.

This is a fantastic place to eat and chat. The food is spectacular and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food I love this place

Hi! I discovered this restaurant via Uber Eats and they DO NOT DISAPPOINT! The rare beef pho, the pork spring rolls and the stir-fry beef vermicelli bowls are all 10/10. we ve tried other spots but nothing beats PhoSome for us. Thank you so much for awesome hearty food.

Service was outstanding - food was very good, but a tiny bit more greasy than Im used to regarding Vietnamese cuisine (thats the only thing keeping this from a 5-star review from me) - I think this is in part, because they use frozen meat here at this restaurant (Vietnamese food is cooked much more cleanly back home in Alexandria, VA).

Two words - health inspector. I don t think this place would pass. The reason they don t do a true Pho Tai and won t serve rare beef #1 is because they stretch the F out of their beef supply. You re getting medium well and up cuz even the chef doesn t trust his own slivers. Their rice wraps were moldy, yup pork and shrimp tasted off, I cut one open and the pork was all discoloured anyway, I m gonna go hit the John and try not to die of food poisoning. Munch at your own risk Cabbagetown.

Great Pho

We got the vegan bbh, pho and banh mi. The vegan bbh and pho were huge portions and the best part was they make the bread for the banh mi in house!

I ordered rare beef pho from uber eats and found cockroach like bug in my food. So disgusting. Glad that I found this bug after having just a bite of the food. This says a lot about their food hygiene. Never ordering from here again.

Delicious vegan banh mi for a great price. The service and setting aren t perfect, all the tables I ve sat at are a little wobbly, but the food consistently great and that s what I go back for.

Great indoor dining setting with trendy music playing. Great selection for vegans and vegetarians which is a major plus from me. I was able to try the vermicelli meal and the rice plate and it was amazing! So full of flavour and great portions for the price. My only knock on the meals is that there are too many different sauces/styles of tofu for the rice meal and it throws off the taste for me but it s still very good.

Walking by I saw a sign for Banh Mi! I was curious and surprised that there was a take out counter at the back of this restaurant! They offered pork belly, chicken, grilled beef, and vegetarian options. The banh mi was made fresh. The space is beautiful and comfortable and I will return to dine in at some point! The banh mi was piping hot and the bread surprised me with how fresh and crispy it was. I enjoyed my banh mi and will be back.

Ordered through Uber eats and received meals that had poor quality meat, salad ingredients not fresh with visible aging on lettuce, and large differences between the two plates depsite having ordered the same item on the menu (e.g., one plate with no onions, no mango in salad, very little salad)

Probably more of a delivery restaurant. My questions were ignored, they put mushrooms in my dish and instead of crispy egg noodles I received soft rice noodles. Not really anything I ordered. Very disappointed

Their vegan pho is great ! And reasonably priced. Crispy vegetable spring rolls. Vegs in their vegan pho are the following: Broccoli, Bok Choi, String bean, Coriander, Green onion, Fried and plain Tofu, Carrot and Mushrooms. Mild vegetable broth. The following evening I tried their lemongrass tofu bahn mi. It was simply delicious! Not just tofu, it also contained sliced tomatoes, and avocado. Lightly toasted bread which is baked in house. A nice touch when serving your food, they bring your eating utensils in a glass of very hot water. Will go again. Feb15, 2021 update: Had takeout 1st time from phosome. It was excellent too. Ordered fried shrimp rolls, pad thai, and coconut ramen with chicken. It was well packaged and the prep time was very quick even though it was late evening. Will order again for sure Mar, 2022 Ordered a veg pho, and asked for hot and sour broth. I also asked if the restaurant had changed hands because: - the vegs in the soup were awful... they were boiled and the broccoli was too old and discolored. - the bean sprouts were old and borderline slimey. Basically, its time to search for another local v- eatery. Please use my posted photo to ask FOR WHAT THEY USED TO COOK....plus, also ask them to turn down the volume on the 1980s asian night club dance hall music... not needed while trying to enjoy a mediocre meal.

First time eating pho! I really loved it!

Ordered a rare beef Pho. Arrived with beef not just well done, but way overdone. Most likely the beef was added way to early. Forgot sprout beans. Cleanliness could be better.

We had the crispy chicken, pork belly and Viet special bahn mi. All 3 were good and at $7 a great price although crispy chicken was not crispy at all.

It was a great dining experience to eat here on a not-so-busy Tuesday evening. I enjoyed the open air setting of the restaurant. Their material and decor could use some mixing up though. Their food menu is old and worn out with the updated pricing just scribbled onto the board itself. I do not get the interior design theming of the place. There are some wine and alcohol bottles displayed on the walls. I do not know how that fits into the overall concept of the place. It does not look like the place is billing itself to be a modern Vietnamese restaurant or a Vietnamese fusion. For the food, we ordered the Special Pho ($15), Viet Supreme ($7), and an Avocado smoothie ($5.95). The Pho got served first. Between the Pho & the Banh Mi, it was enough to share between 2 people. I have no complaints with the food and the service we received. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have some Vietnamese food while also enjoying some open air dining experience.

I ordered the hot seafood pho and grilled chicken pho. At first only gave me my Hot Seafood one so i went and asked for the grilled chicken pho so they took my seafood one and gave me just the chicken. I also found that they gave no napkins. Chopsticks forks or any sort of utensil to eat my food with. Awful experience

Excellent vegan and non vegan options. I ordered vegan pho, it s got lots of ingredients and the broth is moderate spicy, a mouth full of lemongrass zesty flavouring with authentic Vietnamese herbs. Nice open window seating area, friendly staffs.

The food was decent, the first day the service from a young lady was good. The other day I went there again, there was this old lady behind the counter, that took her 30 mins to serve me and I had to stand up several times and ask about everything that she was supposed to bring at my table, while she would talk on the phone all the time. Was very disappointed from the service.

Ordered delivery and was so pleased I took a risk to try this place. The food remained piping hot vs other places. The regular pho portion was substantial. It has real beef in it with brisket, full tripe pieces, big tendon and even a rib! So much flavour. The bo kho bahn mi which is a braised beef stew is insanely good. So fresh and so much flavour. The com options are huge. Large piece of freshly grilled chicken and porkchop. Not dry at all. Im so impressed and will order again. Lots of herbs, spices, fresh ingredients which is missing from other Viet places. Thank you! Vegetarian options: So many. Ill try them next time.

My fav place to eat so far. Try their chicken wings and fries. Other things I love are their bahnmi sandwiches. Lovely service overall and super tasty stuff.

I ordered steamed chicken pho with vegetables today through a delivery app and it was delicious! I was craving something warm and comforting today since it s cold and windy and this place totally delivered! I was pleasantly surprised and the broth is perfectly seasoned. Price is reasonable as well for the portions. It s my second time ordering from this place and I will be back for sure! Thank you so much

We had their vegan pho and meat pho. Both were delicious and consistently spicy. The chicken was perfectly grilled and there was a few shrimps, nice but not necessary in my opinion. We also tried their avocado smoothie and it was a really good surprise!

This is the second time I bought Pho from them. I tried to give it another chance but nothing improves. The broth smells badly just like beef broth. It doesnt smell like Pho at all. I dont think they put real herb in it. The taste doesnt come from good beef bones. Besides, the size is small but they charge the price of a X large. Really disappointed!

I ordered PHO in this location about 7 months ago , well, I was quite disappointed, I thought they just opened new restaurant and they must be given some time to improve , then I ordered again today and unfortunately I found out that there hasn t been any improvement since then ! So as a long Phoholic and Vietnamese cuisine lover my comments : - quality of PHO : this was the worst one I have tried in GTA ( overall taste , not enough ingredients,the horrible quality of raw beef ) -Size : I ordered Large size PHO Abut definitely I would say that in compared with other PHO restaurants I ve been in GTA, this would be just like Small size ( even not medium!)

Yes! Just placed an order through a food delivery app. I have been looking for a really good Pad Thai lately and have been continually disappointed by what I ve come across. Phosome s pad thai was not what I was looking for but I LOVED IT! I like my pad thai very saucy and Phosome s is not, but it s soooo light and flavourful and fresh. It s not greasy or overly sweet. They use unique ingredients that work together so well! One of the reasons I chose to order from here was because as I read the ingredients in each dish, it was clear to me that they d put a lot of thought and energy into developing their recipes. Oh and the pictures of the food sold me as well - the plating and arrangement is such a bonus! I m so happy with my order of pad thai and Bi Chay, and I can t wait to try more food from this lovely restaurant. I spent 5 months in incredible Vietnam a couple of years ago so I m extra happy to have found this place! Thank you for the intention you put into your food! It is felt and appreciated!

Got a wide variety of fresh rolls, spring rolls and dumplings, with 2 Vermicelli bowls (one was actually the fried pho and it was amazing) and we are stuffed with dinner for tomorrow! We really appreciated the generous portion of meat and fresh vegetables - of super high quality- and a reasonable portion of rice noodles- weve never gotten that before! Literally it was mostly veggies and. solid portion of meat instead of a bowl of carbs with a mini portion of toppings! Definite go to!

We ordered chicken wings, Bo kho noodles, Crispy noodles with meat and seafood (highly recommend) and 2 beers. Definitely recommend this place for take-out or dine-in. I want to try thei Banh Mi next time

WOW!!!!!! The eggplant is the best I ve ever had. The variety of Pho is wonderful. There s something for everyone and the quality of everything we ordered is so high. The vegetables are delicious. Lots of gluten free, and complex dishes (hi gluten free spring rolls!) Lots of vegetarian Lots of vegan Lots of seafood Everyone loved this place. Huge portions, great prices. The kids too!!! This is our new local. Great for fall and winter.

Very cozy vibe sitting in restaurant. Well decorated and spacious atmosphere. Incredible vegetable spring rolls! So crispy and full of flavour - the sauce was good too. Ordered the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and it was nice. I wasn t sure about the type of bowl initially, but it actually made it really easy to stir and eat from. Loved the presentation too! Can t wait to come back again soon.
