One of the most flavorful pho broths I have had in a long time - it was delicious! Worth driving to this area for, but be aware they only accept cash. There is a bank nearby and a public parking lot.

We are lucky to live right around the corner from this incredible spot. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is comforting and delicious. The number 4 rare beef Pho is our go to. The price is extremely reasonable, and a $20 bill will get you a filling meal.

Visited this pho restaurant a while back and tried their house special pho. The broth was flavorful, and the portion size was generous. My partner ordered the vermicelli, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious, especially with the sauce. Definitely recommend coming here for a hearty, satisfying meal!

Amazing pho that came out literally within two minutes of ordering. Rich and flavourful and filling. Price is pretty good too, each pho is about $14. They only accept cash, though. Only complaint is that the restaurant itself smelled like pee...

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. The proverbial “hole in the wall”. Luckily I have an open minded son and he said “let’s try the hole in the wall”. That food was super amazing and so was the service. We were greeted with chilled tea. Seriously, chilled tea. That’s extra bonus points for this hot weather. We ordered their famous Special Pho, (pho duc biet) and their vermicelli bowl along with a jackfruit shake to wash it down with. Utterly divine. This area in itself is a gem of places. I’ve visited 3 shops in 3 days and have never been disappointed. Rather quite shocked that my searches ended up in the same area and yielded the same fabulous results. Try it out, usually can find a parking space somewhere. The food was just amazing, wanted to lick the bowl clean.

After a fun day of thrifting on Queen East, my boyfriend and I decided to try Que Ling Vietnamese Cuisine for the first time, and it turned out to be a great choice. We started off our meal with classic spring rolls. They were nice and crispy on the outside and filled with flavour on the inside. Paired with the dipping sauce it was an enjoyable start to our meal. I chose the Pho Rare Beef and Beef Ball Rice Noodle Soup, which is my go-to pho combination. Que Ling Viet did not disappoint. The broth was piping hot and had a rich, deep flavour that was both comforting and satisfying. The rare beef was tender and cooked perfectly in the hot broth, while the beef balls added a nice, chewy texture. The rice noodles were just right, not too soft or too firm, absorbing the flavourful broth beautifully. The variety of condiments provided, such as fresh bean sprouts, basil, lime, and an assortment of sauces, allowed me to customize the pho to my liking, enhancing the dish even more. My boyfriend opted for the Pho Que Ling Special Rice Noodle Soup, which is a house special. House specials are always a classic choice, and he really enjoyed the variety of items in the bowl. The special included a mix of rare beef, tripe, brisket, and beef balls, providing a delightful range of textures and flavours. The broth for his pho was just as hot and delicious as mine, with a rich, savoury taste that complemented the variety of meats. The inclusion of fresh herbs and condiments elevated the soup, making it a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Que Ling Vietnamese Cuisine is located in an unexpected spot, but don’t let that deter you. The interior is unpretentious, focusing on delivering great food rather than flashy decor. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Overall, our experience at Que Ling Vietnamese Cuisine was very positive. The pho was delicious, with hot and flavourful broth, tender meats, and fresh accompaniments. The ability to customize our pho with a variety of condiments added to the enjoyment. The location may be unexpected, but the food truly does not disappoint. If you’re looking for a satisfying bowl of pho in the area, Que Ling Vietnamese Cuisine is definitely worth a visit. We left feeling happy and satisfied, and we look forward to returning. Overall, we rate our experience 4 out of 5 stars.

Pretty average pho. The broth tasted okay but did not taste refreshing or authentic. It was not comforting to see a giant bag of MSG by the stairs to the washroom afterwards, makes you wonder how much they put in the food. Plus side is that it is very cheap at $14 a bowel

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Toronto, I ve been in search of the most authentic Vietnamese since I ve come home, and this is the closest place I could find to the real deal. If you re disappointed by the spot or give it anything less than five stars, it s probably a strong indicator that you have no idea what the hell you re talking about. Lol. Edit: great place but has gone down hill quite a bit in terms of quality of meat. Think I had my last bun bo hue here, great run guys thanks for all the delicious meals through the years but this foodie is moving on unfortunately.

This place used to be 5 stars all around but something has changed within the past year. The only excellent item is the rice noodle rolls (bun cun). The pho broth is now really salty and oily, as it tastes like they cut corners. The spring roll was re-fried in previously used oil ( you can taste the difference). I hope things change as this restaurant has been an staple in the community.

Had the pho and the rice spring rolls. The pho broth had strong star anise aroma and for some reason it think it s missing the beef flavour in a way. Still a solid bowl of pho though. The spring rolls, wasn t what I had in mind. It s quite interesting compared to the normal spring rolls I usually have at other places. The sauce was the one that ties the flavour together for the rolls personally. Solid place.

Their Bun Bo Hue is the best one I ve had in Toronto so far (though the broth is a bit too sweet for the original dish but the aromatic, the mam ruoc don t overwhelm the other flavor of the dish. The Vietnamese coffee on the other hand was not as good as expected, the coffee tastes diluted (may be it was intentionally done so more people can have it), there wasn t any condensed milk flavor in the drink. Good for a beginner to try it out for the first time.

The only place in East Downtown Toronto that sell Banh Cuon. It was tasty but it could be a lot better if they served it hot, and for a L banh cuon, i personally think its a bit small. If you order it a as take out and warm it up at home, you would enjoy it a lot more. In general we had a good experience, the ladies were very nice, service was quick. The bill was very reasonable and came up to a 58$ total for 2 L banh cuon, 1 bbq pork vermicelli, 2 coffee and 1 calamansi soda

I asked for a dish that makes this place different than the other pho places, and the waiter recommended the house special pho. It tasted good but not as unique as expected. I also had their rice roll which was decent. I asked the handsome guy in the store if he had any recommendations for something out of the ordinary, so he said he would recommend house special pho... After trying it, it really didn t seem to be anything out of the ordinary But the taste is good, and the rice rolls are very different from Cantonese-style rice rolls; Some other snacks seem to be very unique. The lady in the store was very friendly, as if I was a regular customer who had been there many times. I will probably give it a try if I pass by nearby in the future.

Never seen a restaurant having egg noodle option for the usual bun bo Hue, and they do have the famous bun bo Hue as well! They have a small menu but cover both staples and special Viet dishes. Restaurant is small and cozy but service is super fast and the ladies are so friendly. You can also get some Viet snacks like Viet sausage, pork buns (banh bao) and others. Will come back for many other times. P/s: it s in Chinatown East so you can also go shopping before/after :)

I ordered 2 party tray of banh cuon on Saturday at 12pm for a party at 1pm. I had a friend pick it up for me that day and they delivered it to us. When we received it, I smelt something sourish from the banh cuon and it came from the meat that they used to make it. My mother in law called them to tell them and they denied that their meat was not fresh and didnt offer anything back to us. We spent approximately $250 and we had to throw it all out. Will never come back here again. Some guest did eat it and had a stomach ache afterwards.

This rice rolls of banh Cuon from this place was soooo good, I could just eat the dough without stuffing all day? You enter this small East Chinatown vietamese restaurant on Sunday morning, you see a couple of solo senior Asian ladies all eating this plate of banhcuon. Then you better order the same plate! It was soft, but still bouncy, thin but not too thin, fresh, very delightful to chew. It was so good that I would think it will cure Sunday hangover instantly. Yet, too bad that I was not crazy about Bon Bo Hue and Pho much. Broth was not right and blood cube did not taste too fresh. Sticky rice and mungbean steamed in lotus leaves were interesting just because when I bought it, I asked the lady what was in it, I did not really understand her. I really did not know what to expect inside.

Where do all these positive reviews come from? Was I eating in another restaurant? I don t think so! I had the Que Ling Special Rice Noodles in Soup. I would ve gotten the same satisfaction from a package of Mr. Noodle.

Great food and authentic pho. You come here for the food and nothing else. They are cash only, which is inconvenient if you dont know about it in advance.

Small family run pho place that always takes us to our happy place. We really enjoy their broth. For a small shop that doesn t try very hard to sell themselves, they do really well. They draw in a lot of repeat business. Something about the humble restaurant, but yet a very tasty bowl of pho has people coming back. We have visited a number of times and would recommend it if you re looking for a casual bowl of pho. No bells and whistles.

Great hole in the wall for viet food. Rare beef on my pho was sliced thicker than the average viet spot which was a treat.

CASH ONLY. You can also e-transfer money if in a bind. Closed on Tuesdays. For the small special pho (#3) and large rare beef and tendon pho (#9) and an order of crispy spring rolls, the total bill was $34 with taxes in. The special pho consist of rare beef, tendon and tripe. This place used have the best pho Ive had, compared to the pho I had in Hanoi, Vietnam. However this time, the broth was more salty than usual and partner found their bowl had less meat and too much tendon (chewey) as filler. Hope thats not the case next time. The spring rolls were tasty. Also had their viet iced coffee $6+tx reg size and its strong. Its a quaint little place with a small menu; just the right amount of authenticity. Parking: Theres both GreenP street and lot parking just around the corner.

Came here with a friend for lunch. I ordered pho and he ordered bun bo hue. We were both very impressed with the quality of the meat in both our soups. The meat was cut and cooked perfectly. Ive never had meat from a pho restaurant with such great texture and flavour. Another positive point is that the portions were very large for the prices. Downsides: The restaurant isnt very clean; the server seated my friend and I at a table meant for 4 people, and half of the table was covered in dirty dishes from previous customers. I wouldve preferred it if the server cleared all the dishes before seating us. The table also felt a little sticky. The servers were curt and not very friendly.

Very nice rare beef Pho. It has a bit more fat in the meat then other places which can be tastier. They speak Mandarin Cantonese and Vietnamese. I feel like its the better pho in the area.

We always enjoy their steamed rice roll. Noodles are fine but no longer fantastic. Also prices have gone up so much and make them less competitive than other pho restaurants. We used to love their Vietnamese coffee but quality and taste are no longer the same as their old times.

Finding quick and free parking can be tricky. Recommend you park at the Green P parking lot nearby or at the school across the street (if you can). There are a limited amount of tables and seats, so be prepared to wait or take to-go. Service is good. Workers are able to speak English, Vietnamese, and Chinese. Menu prices have included taxes, which is fantastic. The food itself is very good and is offered in generous amounts. Their buns and other to-go items are very tasty. Would recommend their bao. The restrooms are located in the basement, but the ceiling is quite low going downstairs, so keep your head down. Would recommend this store if you are in the area.

CASH ONLY and they accept EMT. Tucked away on a side street by East Chinatown, this is a hidden gem for delicious Vietnamese steamed rice rolls (banh cuon). We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 12PM and luckily got seated for 2 immediately. This place is quite small, so be prepared to wait. Their banh always hits the spot with a thin rice roll and fair amount of stuffing. We also ordered their pho and I think the spices are a little overwhelming, so its just OK. Highly recommend for their banh cuon and would come back.

Having tried almost all of the neighbourhood pho spots, Que Ling remains my favourite. Their broths are rich and flavourful, their meats fresh, their portions generous, and their service quick. Love the bun bo hue, banh cuon, and pho ga the most, but everything is tasty. Cash only, but they take e-transfer.
