6 St Andrew St, Toronto, ON M5T 1K6, Canada
Simple tables adorn this Vietnamese & Thai restaurant, which also has a robust exotic drink menu.
One of my new favorite spots!! They have some of the best food I’ve ever tried, everything we had was 5/5. We had assorted fried vegan chicken which came with the best kimchi, generous fresh spring rolls, Thai milk tea!!!, crème brûlée, mango sticky rice, and another dessert drink with noodles in it. Have been waiting to go back just to get another Thai milk tea. Their kimchi has my heart, I hope they sell it as retail because I would definitely buy a few jars at once. The service was great, we loved the ambiance. I really enjoyed the warm tea they served us instead of water, honestly nursed my cold away.
BEST VEGAN PHO I’VE EVER HAD. I’ve been going here for years and cannot get enough of it. The flavours are extremely rich and even my non-vegetarian/non-vegan friends love this place. You gotta add it to your list
Beautiful interior, delicious food, kind and welcoming staff, I'd definitely recommend coming here! They had great options for dietary restrictions and their washroom was clean too. I wish more places were like this
I’m not vegan and this food is really good! The portions are huge and you get great value for money. You get charged extra for using card though, so I recommend bringing debit or cash. I loved the golden curry vermicelli soup, it’s $17 for a large and $15 for a “small”.
Good food but not great. The golden curry vermicelli was really nice. Pan fried pho not so much. It seemed sloppy and not well seasoned. Fresh rolls were good. Momo filling just ok and passable.
Saigon Lotus is my favorite comfort food. When the fall/winter weather starts, soup is always my comfort food, and the Saigon Lotus ones ALWAYS hit the spot. The spot is completely vegan so it's a good option for people who eat halal. The crispy chicken sandwich tastes like actual chicken and the soup portions are so generous. I love this place. One of Toronto's hidden gems.
Officially my favourite vegan restaurant in the city! Not only does their vegan meat taste AMAZING, the portion for each item is huge as well. I got a BBQ bahn mi and it was bigger than I thought. Sauce was delicious and everything was just perfect about it. For only $8 this was an incredible meal. Many seats inside but it does get packed in busy hours. Service is slow because only one person was in charge of everything. Please be patient to him when waiting to be served! Will definitely come back again to try all other items!
Saigon Lotus has a chill, laid-back vibe with lots of plants adding to the cozy atmosphere. We had the Golden Curry Vermicelli Soup and a Vermicelli Bowl with spicy lemongrass tofu seitan, BBQ vegan meat, and spring rolls. Both dishes were super tasty and came in generous portions. The filter coffee with condensed milk was amazing—definitely a favorite! For dessert, we tried the mango sticky rice, which they recommended. It was their best seller, but we found it pretty simple. The staff were really friendly and attentive, making our visit even better. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy. Just a heads-up, they prefer debit or cash.
Ketchup covered fried tofu and mushy yam fries
The spicy lemongrass noodle bowl changed my life. When im not at saigon lotus eating the spicy lemongrass noodle bowl, im somewhere out in the world thinking about spicy lemongrass noodle bowl.
the best vegetarian/vegan food Ive ever had. and its a family business! I dont live in toronto anymore and this place is what I miss the most about the city.
I have been eating at this restaurant for about two years now. Although my visits a few and far between, the quality of food and service has never disappointed. The vegetarian food is great and excellent. The price is quite reasonable so I am happy to tip handsomely. I dine with family, friends and clients and on every occasion thus far they have been pleasantly satisfied.
It s SOOOOO GOOD! Food is amazing and people working there are super lovely and nice. Can t wait to come back Food
Not celiac friendly despite their menu saying they can accommodate allergies. My server assured me my meal would be gluten free friendly, but it was not. Would not have been so unfortunate if it had tasted good.
Very good place to eat. The staff is pleasant, helpful. We ate very well, the dishes were plentiful and delicious. 90 Dollars for 4 adults and 2 children I recommend.
Everything we ordered was delicious we ended up ordering more to go. You have to try this place! Great service, big portions, and reasonable prices. We will be back soon!
Delicious both eating in and when delivered! Love the bhan mi, you d never know it was vegan.
I love the vegan food here. Simply delicious.
Vietnamese vegan cuisine at its best! The portion size is really, really good. Excellent variety of options! Friendly service to top it off too.
There s not much to say other than that this is probably the best vegan restaurant in the city. Amazing food.
Very quick and friendly service. Great food and reasonable prices.
The mushroom rice rolls are heaven here! Note to self: next time order one for myself and not to share. There are plenty of options for everyone from bahn mi, pho, bun, rice dishes, noodle dishes, etc. We also had the fresh rolls, dumplings, and green curry vegetables with brown rice. Everything was delicious. The staff are so friendly. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. The seating arrangement is also quite spacious and comfortable. Cant wait to come back.
Lovely restaurant and great food! Bun bo hue - tasty, flavour has depth and large portion Vermicelli bowl - lots of toppings and good portion size Would recommend! Food : 5/5 |
come for a vegetarian twist on Vietnamese food. if youre a fan, I would recommend looking for Buddhist
Banh cuon is really delicious
I had the golden curry vermicelli soup. It was nice but not the best noodle dish Ive had. I think a lot of people come here for the low prices.
Super tasty food with lots of options that are gluten-friendly if you are ok with them using the same fryer. Service was quick and friendly. The servers were unsure of a few things but were happy to go to the kitchen and find out. Not much to say about the atmosphere, but Id definitely go again for the food. The fried breadfruit, Banh mi and Golden Curry vermicelli are all super tasty!
My friend took us here for the first time and we really loved it. Some of our favorite dishes were the bun bo hue, shrimp fried rice, butter chicken , eggplant and spring rolls!
We came here for a late lunch/early dinner and the food was amazing. It wasnt too busy, we were seated immediately. It took a couple of minutes to get our order and it was hot and fresh. I ordered pho which was great on a chilly November day and warmed me right up. There was a lot of food for the price and we were very full for the rest of the day. They do accept card payments, which I think is rare in the area for many of the Asian restaurants. There is a bathroom downstairs as well. Great place!
Ordered delivery - incredible food with great prices The salad roll and coconut taro sticky rice hit the spot 10/10 Food
Amazing food!! A vegan restaurant in my neighborhood, priceless .
The food is amazing, this is my new go-to for vegan meals downtown
Their spicy fried chicken is tofu dont be fooled
The food at Saigon Lotus is absolutely amazing! Not only are there plenty of fake meat options for those who enjoy the taste of meat, but the vegan protein sources such as mushrooms and tofu are cooked to perfection! I always order a pho which is served with ample bean sprouts, mint, basil, and chillies. Service is impeccable and the staff are always kind and welcoming. This place serves such perfect comfort food and I look forward to coming here more often!
AMAZING, delicious, good portions and prices, and so many great options, the bbq vegan meat is incredible
I ate the BBQ vegan soup. It felt like I was drinking oil. DO NOT come here.
It was amazing. The food was so fresh and so tasty. Proper Vietnamese experience eith vegetarian food. They promote sustainability too. Service was very fast and swift for everything. The decor and ambiance are good too. Definitely recommend it Food
One of my fav restaurants in the city and I m not even veg./vegan 10/10 for food and service
This was my second time getting the BBQ Banh Mi with fries and mango bubble tea. It s so delicious! So many yummy flavours. Even the fries are high quality in my opinion. I had been craving this meal and was really excited to go back and get it. The staff are all very friendly and the window seat with all the plants is so beautiful. Highly recommend.
Best casual vegan spot in the city
One of my new favourite spots in the city! The food is so flavourful and nourishing and well priced and the menu is extensive and full of hits. I especially loved the golden curry vermicelli!
Me & my wife s favorite restaurant in Toronto!
This is my new favourite restaurant. I never post reviews, but I had to post one for this place. The food exceeds all expectations. I just had the bahn mi. Everything about it was perfect. The price does not reflect the quality. When you first walk in there decor can seem a little cheesy/messy, but becomes comforting and fun to look at very quickly. Selfishly, I want them to continue as they are for many years to come, so that I can continue to eat the best food Ive had for a steal of a price. For their sake I hope they build their dream restaurant and become exceptionally wealthy from it. The quality of experience I just had and have had in the past impels me to write with the utmost fondness for this gem of a restaurant. Thank you to the owners and the workers.
Love the food and service. Super friendly and humble staff, the food is delicious! ABSOLUTELY love the crème brûlée!! Amazing that its completely vegan, will be back often.
SO GOOD! I ordered the tomato tofu banh mi and the vegan momo, all flavorful and delicious. I love that I can order anything on the menu and not worry about meat as they are vegetarian/vegan focused. Would absolutely order from them again
Wonderful food, especially when you are vegetarian or vegan. Very good service. The ambience is very basic.
The pho was so good, perfect for a chilly day. I got a small but I couldn t finish all of it. I actually didn t know the restaurant was all vegetarian/vegan ( I forget which one it was) but it did not disappoint, so so good and flavourful!! Vegetarian options: All vegetarian, if not vegan.
This is the best restaurant in Toronto. Stop scrolling reviews and just go there. Ask for Nimo - he s the man!
Food was outstanding, reminded me of fresh street food when I was in Thailand (though not Thai food), just smokey and authentic. I had the Exotic Rice Bowl. I wasnt sold from looking at the picture, but went for it based on the description. It was fantastic! Waitress was super kind, food came quickly, overall lovely experience.
We tried all chef specials. They all tasted good.
I was extremely excited to try this place after reading the reviews but I was very disappointed with the pho. It is extremely basic, the broth has no taste and the veggies are rock hard and not boiled enough. On the other hand the momos were very tasty
Great and tasty meals. Portions are very generous!
Extremely tasty and very friendly restaurant. I had a tomato tofu based Bahn mi. Zen like atmosphere and loved my time. Highly recommended.
One of my top choices for good vegan and vegetarian substitute dishes. This place is very allergy-friendly as well as yummy. I love coming here with friends and sitting beneath the cute strawberry vines that decorate the ceiling. The staff are lovely and the ambiance is so comforting.
Fantastic vegan restaurant, everything delicious, great bubble tea and other drinks options, this place is on constant rotation
Amazing food, great portions very reasonably priced.
Ordered number 20, got a big ol fly in my soup.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. However, recently I ordered the Golden Curry Soup (22), and was quite disappointed. Not only were several ingredients missing, the broth tasted different from before (sharper lemongrass and ginger taste rather than a sweeter, curry taste). Though I appreciated that the service was very good, the waitress was very kind, brought the soup back to the kitchen to add the missing ingredients. I hope Saigon Lotus goes back to its old recipe for the curry - it was much better!
6 stars. Had the lemongrass tofu seitan bbq vegan meat and spring roll vermicelli
Delicous vegeterian food, nice place and generous portion. Friendly servers. Food
#24 and a mango milkshake. Service was awesome and the food was delicious! Portion sizes were generous. Wouldve liked more spring roll to tofu ratio.
Delicious and good service!
Been going here since 2017. A loyal fan of Sai Gon lotus. I love Bun Bo Hue. Too sad I am so far away now. . But I try to eat here every time I visit Toronto. It s a must-eat in Toronto for all vegans. Highly recommend!!!
An all vegan restaurant and the food is delicious! Prices are good and the staff is very friendly! I think I came here 3-4 times during my two weeks in Toronto. I wish we had one in Edmonton!
It was amazing
Excellent vegan restaurant! Lovely and attentive staff! I recommend!
Best vegan place in Chinatown. Close to Kensington market too. Im not vegan but go here often due to how tasty the food is! Food
Stopped by today for lunch and it was so delicious. Had the pad thai and it was so filling, had to take leftovers home, excited to eat them tomorrow. The friend I was dining with had the Pho and she said it was also really hearty and tasty. Definitely worth a visit, even if you arent vegan/vegetarian!
I had the Banh Mi BBQ Vegan Meat Sandwich and it was incredible. The BBQ Meat had a great texture and the sauce for the vegan meat had a nice sweet and tangy bbq flavour. The Banh Mi also had some nice fresh vegetables as well as being on a nice piece of fresh bread. Id definitely get this sandwich again, but seeing how good it was, I kind of want to try everything on the menu because Im sure that there are many other delicious things to try!
MY FAVOURITE VEGAN RESTAURANT!! Make sure you try their taro pudding omgggg I always have a couple. The mango sticky rice is a hit and miss depending if the mangoes are sweet and in season or not. The food is just yummmm!!! And you will always end up feeling nice and clean after you eat their food. The vegan combo is a safe bet, but so is most of the menu. The pho is incredible. I was sick once and had the tom yum. Omg made me feel better instantly. Brought my omnivore siblings here and they loved everything!! Just come here and eat. Seriously. I have many pics but I switched phones so I cant access them right now.
awesome place, Tersa served us one of best service we ever had! must visit.
We went to st Andrew s location on a suggested review and was a bit sceptical about the restraunt in a ghetto full of graffiti s, But boy o boi me and the boys will be back! Truly a hidden gem ! We ordered so much food and ate it all trust me, it was so worth the visit! The restraunt had that calming effect inside with sounds of water and plants. Everything on the menu is so cheap and worth to try. Our server Teresa was very gentle and friendly we tipped her hefty because she took great care of us throughout. Vegetarian options: Everything in the menu was delicious Parking: It s a ghetto with no parking , shady lots around full of graffiti , get Ttc
Little hidden gem that serves vegan and gluten free rice menu items. So happy to have found this place as I had been suffering from severe inflammation of the gut. This food sat wonderfully. The food is hearty and flavourful and even the portion sizing is quite generous on the small sized dishes. The banh mi is also delicious. We ordered the bbq banh mi and the pho dac biet. Would return!
If youre looking for tasty vegetarian food, try this place. The food is delicious and their customer service is impeccable. Highly recommend.
What amazing Vegan food. Loved the ambience, the beautiful sky ceiling had topped it all. The butter chicken gravy was delisshhh. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available Parking: The Green Paid parking lot is 2 blocks beside the restaurant
Amazing prices and tasty menu!
Great food. Just can get a bit noisy, especially if youre sitting in the middle during dinner hours
First time ordering and most likely the last. The portion size for the price is absurd! $20 with tax for something the size of my hand. I genuinely can t believe how tiny this portion is. Indian food places would double this size for less cost. What a shame! The flavour profile is somewhat there, but this is SO heavily salted I couldn t eat more than a couple of bites. Had to toss it out :(. There was also no potato as advertised. Waste of my money! Not shown: the left container is 1 inch high and right container is 2 inches high, to illustrate just how small the portion is. Ordered butter chicken.
Tasty and big portions. The food came out fast and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. Recommend the vermicelli dish, the dry pho, or any of the soups.
Highly recommend the steamed rice roll with wild mushroom! The flavour of the seasoning and mushroom itself was absolutely delicious.
The food and service is so good! I feel like pho broth is so important and they got it just right! I was so impressed with the flavor of Order #20. The desserts are also delicious. The friendly staff definitely made the experience even better. I would come again!
I had the lemongrass vermicelli, it was delicious, best Vietnamese Ive had in Toronto. Portion was very generous for $16. Staff were very sweet and attentive.
I love the food from this restaurant but their packaging for togo is so bad, especially when there are soup dishes . I got one of the soup dishes for to go and after I walked 5 my soup was went down through the paper bag spilled on the ground. I believed it was not the fault of the staff that they did not close it probably. It is the container itself. The lid for the soup is not tight at all which causes the leaking and soaking in the bag. Hopefully the owner will find a better green togo container for soup dishes or at least try the tape!
I love the decor, plants, Bhudda waterfall oh and the Vegan food!
This is a true vegan paradise! My wife and I ate here last night and were still thinking about how good the food was. High quality and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, which was my favorite, but everything else we had was also very good.
Wow. Did not know it was a vegan place when I walked in there. Pho is awesome. Will he back for sure!
Quite crowded place if you visit at dinner time, the vegan broth is flavorful but a bit salty for me. The bbq meat is above average.
This unassuming place is still serving up fresh and creatively tasty vegan food that wont break the bank! Highly recommend. However, if you order a special drink, consider asking for no-ice. As it was 90% ice and 10% liquid, which harly was enough to quench my thirst!
slow service but nice. food was tasty
One of the most delicious and nutritious food I ve had. I love Vietnamese food and love that they know how to make non meat dishes taste out of this world. Instant favourite.
Really delicious food, quick service, friendly staff, affordable prices, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. This is a true gem of the city! Bring your non-vegan friends and theyll love it.
We visited this popular vegan vietnamese restaurant on Saturday evening. It was jam packed. Make sure to call on their number and get the reservation done. We ordered: 1. Fresh Salad Rolls (Tofu-Avocado and Peanut ones): 8/10 => Though it s mentioned spicy but it s not spicy 2. Pho Dac Biet: 8/10 => Classic Pho 3. Bun Bo Hue: 9/10 => Bit spicy though 4. Sweet and Sour crispy tofu with brown rice: 5/10 => Won t recommend 5. Exotic fried rice: 8/10 6. Mango sticky rice: 8/10 The food was neither too great nor too bad. The service is slow though they apologized for it multiple times. The ambience is nice. Make sure to take your debit card with you as there s an additional charge for credit card.
I ordered to go and they were very kind, they made it so quickly and it was very crispy and delicious! Sandwich, fries and a pop just for 10 dollars! Wow! That was awesome actually! Thank you!
I really love Siagon Lotus but I recently ordered take out and sadly got a bowl of almost exclusively salad and noodles and two chucks of tofu. I have been going for ages but am sorry to say their take out is pretty bad. I have been going there for over 5 years and I just cant believe they are cutting corners like that :(
Have been coming here for years and they never disappoint! Everything from the taste, portion sizes, fast and friendly service is 5 stars. Will keep bringing more friends to try!
whaaat???? that was vegan??? some of the best pho ive had, vegan or not! and the triple layer drink was awesome. highly recommend
the best vegan food i ve ever had!
My partner loves this place and it has grown on me. Food is excellent and it s nice going to a vegan restaurant that is approachable to non vegan diners. Good concept and good execution.
Vegan vietnamese food that looks amazing and tastes delicious!! I got the Pad Thai Lemongrass Tofu-Seitan & BBQ Vegan Meat, and was honestly so surprised that the vegan meat tasted exactly like real meat! The pad thai tasted a bit sweet and tomato-y which I found quite enjoyable, but the vegan meat really stole the show for me ^_^ The portion size was perfect for its price, and service was pretty quick at bringing out our food (although we went at a relatively quiet time). The only minor con was that it was a bit hard to get the waitress attention. Lastly, the interiors were stunning! I loved how the ceiling had a painted sky and how there were many decorations on the walls.
So thankful I found this delicious vegetarian option so easily and open just late enough for me to have a healthy dinner after a very long trip. With the first bite of the lemongrass bbq I was happily impressed.
I recently visited Saigon Lotus, a fantastic vegan restaurant, and had an incredible dining experience. The spicy lemongrass tofu seitan, BBQ vegan meat, spring rolls, and golden curry vermicelli soup were all absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and we enjoyed every bite, finishing everything on our plates. The restaurant s interior, adorned with fresh green plants, added a refreshing and calming ambiance. We visited during the afternoon when it wasn t very busy, and the service was prompt and attentive. A highlight of our meal was the Vietnamese filter coffee it was so flavorful and a perfect end to a fantastic meal. I highly recommend Saigon Lotus for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious vegan Vietnamese cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Don t miss out on their Vietnamese filter coffee!
Good food Vegetarian options: Vegan place Food : 4/5 |
Saigon Lotus nails it with their simple, fresh vegetarian food. Everything tastes light and refreshing, making it a great spot if you re after wholesome, delicious meals. The flavors are clean and satisfying, and the casual vibe makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Perfect for anyone looking for fresh vegetarian options!
I know people like this place a lot, but in my opinion the food is not good. I have been there twice cause I thought I should give it a second chance, but the food has a weird flavor. Still the service is great, and the place has a unique decoration. Dietary restrictions: All vegan
Best service, delicious food, incredible owners ! Everything about this place is perfect!
One of my favourite vegan restaurants in Toronto. I ve been here numerous times for dinner with friends and their vegan pho never fails to satisfy!!
Ordered lunch from here through Uber eats. I had the pan fried vegan pho. The qty is quite good and the flavors are really amazing. The food was packaged very nicely.
Likely the best vegan Vietnamese food you can get in downtown Toronto. For a great price. Their spring rolls are some of the best Ive ever had. With a unique take. You must try them!
The absolute BEST spring rolls i ve ever had. Bar None! seriously!
Great place for vegan Pho. Service was quite slow on a busy day. But the server was very nice Food
Amazing curry vermicelli soup! One of my favourite spot in Toronto Food
I was a little hesitant with writing a review at first. A few months ago, I would have given 2 stars. Food would come out at drastically different times; my partner would get and finish their dish and I would still be waiting for mine. They even forgot about my dish not once, but TWICE!!!! I swore off this place until just recently. Now, it s a complete 180; all the food comes out sort of together and I haven t been forgotten yet (I hope never again). The food is always consistently delicious - I haven t had anything that I didn t like. My go-tos are the banh mi meal with Thai iced coffee and the vermicelli bowl! The only downside is that they seem short-staffed on the weekends and at night. So expect to be there longer during those times.
OMG! This place is amazing! I had the number 20 Bún Bò Huê, so good! Totally would recommend and would come back!
Very calming atmosphere with various vegan options. The vegan pho was very tasty and rich.
Amazing foods and best services, i cant believe that vegan meat so gooood.
YAAAY
Good vege food and the waitress is very nice
I ordered the Curry vermicelli soup, the soup could have been hotter but in overall it was good. My friends really enjoyed their platter combo and Viet coffee.
We tried their Vegan Noodle soups and the food was 10/10. One of the best Vegan broths I ve ever had. Though the setting is very simple and gets noisy without any sort of music. But Would recommend for a low key date night or to go with a large group of friends. Food
Vegan Banh Mi is to to die for!! 10/10 if youre a vegan/vegetarian the Banh mi sandwich is a must try! From the texture, to the flavour, to the portion size, to the price, I cannot say enough good things. This was my first time and I will definitely be back - believe all the good reviews because this place is worth the hype!!
Good food.
Great food
Spicy Hue soup is really good. Filter coffee is AMAZING.
I got their vermicelli bowl for takeout for lunch. The flavour was OK but on the salty side. Ive had their noodle soup with mixed vegetables before, and it was very tasty. Im not sure I would go back though - halfway through, I found three metal pieces while chewing (only photographed two). Hopefully I didnt swallow a piece before I noticed it.
Very very good vegan food. Enjoyed it all even as a non vegan :)
Vegan pho was so good!
Absolutely delicious!
Great vegan restaurant. Delicious food options.
I got the lemongrass banh mi here and loved it, the price was good. I was a little awkward since I dont order out often but the staff was nice.
Always really good
For real? It s not real pho for Asians
Good foods, good servers on Saturday
This place is really cute and the food was both beautiful and delicious. We had bon bo hue, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. I basically ordered the pho with spicy broth to have thinner noodles and more veggies. I omitted the seitan. I would skip the drinks next time and just sip on the tea. The soup was so good! I am craving it and looking up recipes on line to try and satisfy my soup craving. Loved it and would definitely go back if in Toronto.
Bitan makes some that are particularly delicious
Definitely worth a visit, even if you arent vegan. I had the banh mi and would recommend it, but I dont think you could go wrong no matter what you order. Food : 5/5
One of my favourite vegan spots in Toronto, we love their bánh mì and can t wait to come back for it! The service is also very sweet and welcoming
We had the Golden Curry Vermicelli Soup, and must say it was the best soup I ve ever had, as well as the best vegetarian dish I ve ever had! Compliments to the chef! The restaurant was really nice and clean, and the staff was friendly! Zero complaints, definitely worth the high reviews! :)
The best bun bo hue I ve had, hands down!! Not to mention that it s vegetarian. Brought my very picky Vietnamese family here, and they loved it so much they said it s our new go to spot! The decor and ceiling is so homey and nostalgic, and their deserts and drinks are amazing as well. Great prices, 1000% recommend!
Service was good. All of the staff is friendly and helpful especially Calvin. Calvin gave us quick service & was very trustworthy.
Yam tempura rolls are superb. The food is excellent. Highly recommend.
I thought service was terrible. Waitress seemed annoyed or like we were an inconvenience to them somehow. Another waitress then came up to us saying their machine for payment was going to be out of service soon, and made us pay while we were eating. I thought that was very strange and unusual because i didn t see them do that to other customers or the new customers walking in. Food was not spectacular either. But service really was a miss, so I will not be returning or recommending.
I m never disappointed when I come here! All the dishes are absolutely delicious and affordable. The staff is very friendly and efficient as well.
Considered the best Asian restaurant in GTA, we just scratched the surface of the extensive menu, ordering a number of the dishes off the Chefs specials (No.33 was a personal favorite) - all amazing! The items we ordered were so delicious that we got a couple other dishes to go (from the regular menu)! We can t wait to visit again!!! A true gem !!
This is a vegan Vietnamese restaurant located in Kensington market. The food is pretty good for vegan food, we got the bun bo hue, vermicelli bowl, and banh cuon. All dishes were flavourful and the textures of the fake meat was pretty chewy (although clearly not the same as real meat) Service is pretty friendly too. This is a casual family style spot, affordable and they have a good amount of seating. Washrooms downstairs.
Budget friendly. Great taste. Quick service. Finest place for frds get together. Good ambience Parking: If you just go ahead of the restaurant you can find the green P parking where you need to pay for parking.
Vegan Vietnamese restaurant. Caught me by surprise at the taste of the vegan meat! Had the Bun Bo hue and the squid cake in the dish was so good - I couldn t tell it was vegan. Broth was very clean and had a kick. Highly recommend a try.
Vegetarian options: Really interesting dishes Food
Super cute restaurant with amazing vegan food! Everything Ive tried here has always been stellar. Highly recommend! Parking: Just down the street from here is a large parking area. Its had spots every time Ive gone, but is busy on weekends.
My favourite restaurant ever!!! I order from here all the time, it s truly amazing food always consistently delicious. Love love love!!!! *Favourites: Stir fry vermicelli and mixed veg, Pad Thai, yam tempura salad roll, vegan butter chicken all of it :) Food
Nice spot with tasty vegan food. Limited menu options but quick and cheerful.
I m not a vegan but thought the food was pretty good. Pho tastes different because of the lack of beef broth but nonetheless fine.
Good place if You are looking for vegan thai options. The food was average for me, I ordered pad Thai, I didn t like the vegan egg it had, I d prefer the actual egg, but to anyone who s looking for a vegan options this will be your place. The tea was good and the soup was delicious too. They have the ceiling painted and it s adorable the vibe of the place is really welcoming and the our server was great.
The food was SO GOOD! Plus it s vegetarian!
Great place for vegan Vietnamese food! Their iced tea is worth trying. The curry bowls were filling and tasted great. We also tried the vermicelli bowl, lettuce wraps and dumplings with their peanut sauce. Overall, they have a variety of great stuff with worth trying. They don t have a lot of seating available so a reservation is definitely recommended before visiting.
A Veg/vegan staple here in the city. Amazing dishes and at a great price point. The BBQ meat bahn mi is delicious. 10/10
Its always nice to come across a restaurant with a fully vegan menu that is not identical to other places serving vegan food. The staff are sweet and nice and trying to accommodate everyone who has not made a reservation. The food is good. The pad thai is unique with nice flavor and packed with proteins. Sadly, the service is poor and disorganized. We had our order brought over but asked to wait until they confirmed with the kitchen if that was the right order. They forgot about our drink inquiry. It took a long time until someone noticed us waving and asking for our bill. Id like to give this place another try and perhaps dine in when its quieter.
good for animal and our health
I really like the food here.
Great place for vegetarian viatnamese food! if you like faux meats- this is your place to go! Good portion sizes for the price Had the rice with black bean tofu and garlic veggies- very tasty and well balanced meal Vegetarian options: its a complete vegetarian place
the bahn mi with fries and drink of choice is such a good deal, everything i ve eaten here is delicious
Absolutely delicious! Its so hard to find vegan food in Toronto thats East Asian too and I was so relieved when my order came from Uber eats better than I could have imagined. Thank you!
First time eating here and loved it. Great variety of flavours.
The food was absolutely delicious! Vegan meat has never fooled me before this place. I was genuinely convinced that the seitan was chicken! The vermicelli bowl was very flavourful and I d definitely recommend!! Vegetarian options: It s all vegan
It s a nice place, the food is fresh, and prices are ok. Thanks for the service.
I love their rice combo 1. It is a great comfort food for me :)
5 star food. We enjoyed everything we ordered! The reason for 4 stars is that my husband witnessed a male employee use the bathroom without washing his hands after. When he left, he headed back towards the kitchen. We dont know if he was handling food directly or not, but he worked there. Either way, ALL employees (and everyone else) should be washing their hands after using the restroom. Its unhygienic and gross not to.
One of my favourite places, I particularly like many of their pho, which are made with super tasty broths. The team is friendly and can help when deciding what to try is tricky. Colourful setting and good location Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan Dietary restrictions: Ask the team for dishes suitable for dietary restrictions
Always prejudiced against Vegan food and it was confounded today at Saigon Lotus. Absolutely brilliant food. We had the 20 and the 28 and didn t leave a speck of food particle behind. There were only 2 waitresses when we went in to a packed restaurant but not a single moment did we feel ignored. Fantastic service.
This restaurant was extremely accommodating to me and my friends when we came by for a quick dinner. Loved the hue soup and creme brulee. PS - thanks for the mint.
Turns out the best Pho is not in Vietnam, it doesnt even have meat in it. Turns out the best pho restaurant is in a small corner in Toronto, and it plays lo-fi Ghibli music for atmosphere. This broth is magic! Just like The Castle In The Sky!
Food is fine except when it s been burned to a crisp. Please don t burn the food
Came here for Valentines dinner and we had a great time! We ve eaten here years ago and it was amazing! And still amazing when we came back! Callum provided great service! He was so friendly, kind, accomodating, the place was so busy and he took care of so many tables including us so well! Definitely an asset to the business! Thanks for looking after us Callum! Food was great as always - we really liked the curry fries!
Absolutely enjoy coming here for good food!
Delicious food, you won t miss the meat it s so tasty. Their bun bo hue is the best version I ve ever had (even better than the traditional beef ones) and the mushroom rice rolls are amazing.
Happy to have all vegan menu. Giving 3 stars for food because 1) temperature of the soup of the noodles was only lukewarm. Why wasn t it hot?! I see another customer also complained about this in their review. 2) Coffee only lukewarm and small, not worth $6. Overall food felt just ok . Strengths: 1) Thai cocktail very good. 2) fresh rolls with avocado and tofu very good.
Been back several and food is always consistently delicious. Love the cozy dining space infused with Buddhism influence. Place was bustling with patrons. There are enough tables to seat ~50-60 ppl (yes it doesn t look that big but trust me). Digital menu! Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Bún Bò Hu noodle soup (#20) and the Spicy Lemongrass Tofu & BBQ Vegan Meat and Vegetarian Spring Roll vermicelli (#24) and the Spicy Jicama Peanut fresh rolls (#3). Prices were vegan-ly priced (mid range). 2 service alerts: (1) place is very busy so hard to wave down a staff to order (but once you do, they are very attentive), (2) facility requires stairs and does not have handicap ramp.
Authentic Vietnamese vegan cuisine. I enjoyed every meal. The restaurant is located in the heart of Chinatown. For parking, you can park on street or Dragon plaza nearby.
Ordered delivery. Food was delicious. I got the banh mi & the exotic fried rice. The food was fresh, & the vegan meat was some of the best I ve ever had in terms of texture, preparation, & flavour. Love that they had a whole wheat bread option for the banh mi as well. The mango sticky rice dessert was delicious too. 10/10
Delicious plant based menu, went here forgetting that it was all vegan (I m not vegan), but the summer rolls were so fresh and tasty that I would come here again! Thai tea was tasty too (considering that there s no dairy in it). The crispy chicken Banh Mi is a little dry and underseasoned, I wouldn t reorder.
