They don t know how to cook steak

Had a bad experience here, I wasn t allowed to order wine because I smelt of weed(which I am the legal age & use it for medical purposes) i felt like I was treated like a child by the waiter being told I need to order my food and eat some of it before I m able to order a drink. I have never experienced this before and will never be back here, I am also black so I m sure that played a roll since a lot of people act different towards me because of my colour. I didn t know that smelling of weed was a crime in a restaurant

Stopped in for a quick bite... Our young server, who got on board quickly to prank my partner, was such a sport ... Had gold laughs and fold was good... not cold and stale. Have tried this location multiple times, and think only once sort of had a bad experience.

Worst customer service in the town

Must try place for Burger, steak&lobster combo, hot wings and ribs, half and 1/4 BBQ chicken in Trenton. Best place to have half price appetisers after 9 PM Vegetarian options: Nachos, spinachdip etc Wheelchair accessibility: Low top Tables and handicap washroom available

Went in for lunch one day while the place was relatively quiet, got seated right away. We got menus and told our server would be with us shortly. Waited over 20 minutes and nobody even so much as walked by us. Never even had our drink orders taken. We got up and walked out.

So happy we got a Chucks in Trenton its a great value for your money the service is good and the location is convenient

28th October 2024, went to get dinner. We ordered a pitcher of rickers red and we got Stella instead. I noticed after a few sips and when I meantion it wasnt what I ordered, the waitress was very apologetic and said she wasnt sure what shes able to do and got the manager. The manager said she can take 50% off the pitcher we got but she said she would have to take the remaining beer left in the pitcher off the table and Write it off as spillage, or we could finish it and pay full price for the beer we didnt order. I will not be going back.

Waitress - she was really nice and apaulogetic when she got our beer order wrong, but got no backing up from managment for the mistake that she tried to fix. Review is based on managment not supporting the surver for a better dine in experiance in regards to messing up our beer order.

I absolutely loved having Alex attend my table last night, she made the best recommendations and the food was amazing! For half price after 9PM you can t go wrong! Definitely 10/10 on service and food!

My husband and I Love coming to Chucks. Our server tonight was Alexis and she was amazing. We have had Prachi before and she IA also amazing. Our potatoes and gravy and lobster were not hot but these girls made everything proper. Thank you to Chucks.

Alex is amazing bartender and sever. She is always on top of things. When your drink is done she always right there getting you another. If you order food she is right there asking if everything is good. She is sweet and caring. She takes the time to talk to you and ask if you need anything. I think Alex is the best!!

Love your food and thank you for keeping the price low. I would rather pay a little more on the food then being charged an HONEST TO GOODNESS FEE of 3%. You are the only restaurant that those that. And ypur staff those not mention it

Steak is so good

We were visiting from out of town for a hockey tournament and made a reservation for 50 people. Our servers Alex and Kya were amazing!! They were very accommodating to our group size, and served us promptly, continuously checking on our needs. They were well organized through the entire visit and I have already recommended this location to other sports groups. Maybe we lucked out with these servers, because Alex and Kya knew exactly how to manage a large group of guests.

After months of trying but unable to fit into my schedule, I finally got to have a meal at Chucks. I found the food to be good, the service was great. Everything I requested, they delivered. Not much to complain about. A lot of flies buzzing around, but otherwise, all was great. Washroom was clean, seating area was clean, all-in-all it was a pretty good experience for me. Your mileage may vary.

We had 3x steak and lobster, plus drinks. 1 child butter spaghetti. Kid-friendliness: They offer a few food options that the kids will enjoy.

The food and service were good but it is very noisy and its dark even though the windows were not shaded.

We ve been twice. The first time we had great service and the food was good for the price. Last evening we went and were forgotten about. Tables were seated after us, had drink orders received and placed meal orders. No one came to check on us or take a drink order. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Gave overall 3 because our first experience was good.

I went to this location fairly late. I placed an order online and as punctuality is not exactly my thing I walked in right as they were closing looking to pick up my order. It turns out that the system had not had it go to the restaurant so they didnt have an order ready for me which was not their fault but even though it wasnt their fault they did everything possible to accommodate me. They made me a caesar salad they couldnt put chicken in my salad like I had originally ordered but the kitchen was closed and thats understandable. It shows that they care about me as a person and as a customer and I really appreciate it and I think that other people should know.

Great place to drop into after the game!

Ordered a Philly cheese steak and asked for a gravy substitute instead of CRH sauce and when it came to the table my sandwich had the very sauce I asked for a substitution on whole appetite ruined after a horrible day. Servers and whoever plates the food need to do better..

Such friendly great service

The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was very attentive. I wasn t a huge fan of being called love by her several times. If she was British I would have felt different. The food on the other hand. The menu said the wings are lightly dusted. To me lightly does not mean breaded. These were so sloppy with the sauce on them. The drumsticks were also undercooked.

Everything was good, just felt a little ignored by our server.

Small sirloin steak was fantastic. Id come back just for this!

We have been to the Trenton location three times since it s opened and every time the food has been horrible. From instant mashed potatoes to a totally rotten (inside) of a baked potato - we ve tried really hard to give them a fair chance but after tonight we won t be back. Our waitress was great and we got our son s kids meal super quick but our mains were the issue. My husband had a film/skin over his obvious instant mashed potatoes and his steak was barely warm. My baked potato wasn t fully cooked, it was cold and my steak tasted like natural gas. Like it had been infused into the meat. So much so that the waitress could smell it as she took my plate away. They said they would remake it which took them so long that we asked for it to go as everyone else was done eating. They took half off my meal, total was still $100 after tip (yes, we still tipped) for two horrible steaks and some butter noodles. Save your money. We won t be back.

A friend of mine invited me out my first time visit. The food was fantastic we both had half chicken and ribs . Its kinda loud in here they need more sound panels. And lower volume a little so you can have a conversation at your table.

The food was great. But the communication there was not very good. I was welcome when I came in the door I told him I had takeout. The young lady went back said was not ready I waited for about 20-25 minutes without anyone coming to let me know whats happening. I asked the bartender she went and checked the food was sitting there for a while because it was cold when I get home.

Today is Canada Day and there is a Free burger dealy going on! We sat on the patio and we had a great experience with our server Jasmine. Jasmine had a great personality and was happy to help with all our requests. 5 stars!!!

The only issue we have is the lighting over the tables...we find it very dark and its challenging reading the menu...lights over the tables would be fantastic.

Our favourite spot to come 50% off appetizers after 9pm is the go to, trust me you should not miss it. Ohh the server Alicia we love her so darn friendly and she always making sure our experience is at top notch. The food is fantastic never a bad experience with the food omg love it. Its ok.last 2 times husband and I have been there we have had to park in Walmart car park which was a hastle due to a messed up ankle. The noise and over bearing music is hard on ears. Got very angry walking in listing to music about ni@@#$% tossing 40s riding with there homies. I hollered at the mgt.told him to turn the fen ni@@$# rap off. I am not going to stand here and listen to it.he did not even realize it was on. Gave us discount on food. Kid-friendliness: If your child is autistic or has issues with noise Thursday Friday Saturday not the place to be. I dont have anxiety but how close the tables are being large person hard to move around.

Nachos were amazing there chips are alot different and not dry, do they oil fry them to make them fuffy? Need answers. Weve now been to the Trenton location twice...first and last. Very busy but we were seated quickly. Server took our drink order in a timely manner and brought them to us right away. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. It arrived and was completely underwhelming. I told the server that it was missing the spicy pickles that were stated in the menu description. She was convinced that it didnt have pickles on it but at my insistence she looked at a menu and lo and behold, I was right. Her response should have been to immediately go and get them for me but instead she asked if I still wanted them. Of course I did!!! When she returned we got a long story about how bad her ordeal was in the kitchen as they were angry with her because they forgot an item on a product they sent out! Waited ages for my husbands second drink. Male server at large table beside us stood around for about 10 minutes explaining why he couldnt do something he was asked to do. It seemed the servers spent an inordinate amount of time making excuses. We brought take out home for my son. His grilled chicken club came on plain sourdough bread; not grilled or even toasted. Then the bill arrives. Apparently in order to keep prices down they have chosen to charge an Honest to goodness tax. This was 3% of our bill. No thanks! Ive been to other Chucks locations and had good experiences but this was terrible. We wont be be back!

Decided to order from chucks roadhouse, Trenton for the second time since the opened, thinking maybe the quality would be better than it was the first time we ordered right after they opened. Nope. Ordered chicken fingers which are now the size of a kids meal and were more like chicken pieces(nugget-size). And only received an handful of fries. Even the container it came in was smaller. Also ordered the fish and chips which was nothing like it used to be. Looked very processed, thin batter and tasted horrible. For the fish meal they gave you three times the amount of soggy fries as the other meals. Binned half of it as did the others.

After waiting over 90 minutes after my beer arrived on the patio with no subsequent service, I headed to the bar and settled my bill. Hopefully thats the only time this year I dont leave a tip. Wow...cant even reply with my name spelled correctly.

My husband and I came for dinner tonight at Chucks and the food was excellent our waitress kaitlyn was amazing. She was quick to serve us came back with drinks quickly and made sure that we had everything we needed. When shebrought us our food I found it amazing that she had me cut my steak to make sure that it was to my liking. She was very professional. We would definitely be back. Great job Kaitlyn!!

Very slow service. We were at our table for 11 minutes before even being asked for a drink. This is the new Trenton location. The Belleville location had become the same slow service so we had hopes that the new Trenton location would be better. Good atmosphere overall though.

Ordered take out so Id have something to do while waiting to get my oil changed next door. Food was delicious, got the Buffalo fingers, came with some kinda dip that just blended so well with the seasoning on the chicken. Fries were fresh. My only small complaint is that it was $17 (tax included), which seemed a lil pricey but if money was of no issue to me I wouldnt have had a single complaint. Maybe the problem is Im too broke to be eating out Lady from the bar that took my order was speedy and thorough, ensured I had the extras required for eating in ones car.

Food was fine but experience was horrible. Nachos were prepared very sloppily, almost inedible in some sports, steak was overly coated in spices and our server forgot who we were and asked us for our order twice. Server also didnt know the name of a soft drink that they serve on the menu when asked if we could order one didnt know it was a thing. Made for a very awkward, horrible date night. Absolutely worst dining experience ever. Management is rude, servers ignore you., You wait over 20 minutes for service, a half an hour for food and the food is cold and drinks are warm. Then another 15 minutes for the bill. I WILL NOT RETURN!!!

Weve been twice and will not be back. First visit a week ago, service was great. Wait staff was extremely helpful with allergies. However, the steak ordered was requested medium and was served so well done it had zero moisture. Wait staff did not return while eating so we could let him know. Ate about half and took the rest home for the dog. Tonight the waitess was so quiet we could hardly hear her. She didnt check in while we were eating so we could let her know the fries were soggy and Limp. Did not bother to bring them home for the dog. Add on the honest to goodness fee which is apparently to serve higher quality food, and you have two frustrated guests that will not return. Which is too bad because we live about 5 minutes away and would go often as its physically convenient. Save yourself the frustration and dine elsewhere. It is lower priced, but remember you get what you pay for.

Went last week over all a bla experience probably would have given 3 stars. Decided to go back again this week. Server never came back to our table once food was dropped off. No drink refill, Fries where cold and soggy and we asked for the well done. defiantly do not see a 3rd trip in the future. went with my wife 7/30 pm sunday nite ordered each tap beer was long in coming waitress was very nice about it and we laught it off. ordered premium burger with fries and asked for extra chrispy fries again diapointed, burger meat tasted frozen not fresh, while burger looked good but no flaver.wife had chicken parmshan ,medioker sause looked canned and chicken cutlet appered to be previosly frozen. This looked like kids food where are all the good restaurants. sorry for the spelling misstakes lol

My daughter and I tried out the new Trenton location last night & got to admit that it was an exceptional experience. I have to say kitchen did absolutely amazing to bring out all the many flavours; servers were quite friendly & accomodating. Felt satisfying when manager himself came out to make sure we ve got our requirements fulfilled. From kids to senior citizens ; this place is suitable for everyone. Such an amazing experience it was! One should definitely visit if they want delish food with fast & friendly service.

Went here for lunch with my wife, shared a large ceaser salad, and each had a sandwich meal. I have never seen a salad with so much brown lettuce. The sandwiches were small and lackluster ( Philly cheese and chicken club), and the fries were soft, and the gravy was bland. The beer was a good deal at 12$ a pitcher, but they needed to turn the fridge on. All said we wont be going back.

We showed up at 7pm and were seated immediately as it was not busy. We left at 730pm after not being approached by a single employee to take our drink order or acknowledge our existence.

Have enjoyed other Roadhouse so thought I d try this new one in Trenton on Sunday. Ordered fish and chips - fish was so overdone my mom had trouble cutting it. Fries were burnt. Burger ok but sooo skimpy on tomato pickle and lettuce. We won t be going back which is a shame as Trenton needs some good places to eat.

I recently went to the chucks roadhouse that recently opened in Trenton and was amazed at the exceptional service and food they have to offer. You can not beat the price of the $9 chucks burger anywhere. My bill for myself and my girlfriend was $35 WITH A DESSERT. Will be back, great job!

Have been to Trenton location probably 10 times since you opened. Each time it gets worse. Today took about 35 minutes for nachos and wings. When food arrived it was cold. Previous time server asked if we wanted dessert and said sure , 15 minutes later she came back with cheque and debit machine ! Oh no dessert today I guess. Previous Ordered steak and very over cooked and not a good cut. Tbone at that. Steak before that time again overcooked and tasteless. I see the manger walking around and visiting tables he thinks he will get a good response from . Never has anyone ever visited our table in 10 visits. So I ask you . Where does the honest to goodness tax come in ? Your servers should maybe check back and see how the meal is going, probably eliminate the bad taste it leaves when no one cares. Get em in and get em out , seat next table. More to service than you are displaying here. We eat out a lot , but I think Chuck s in Trenton will not be our choice for a very long time Steve

Celebrated my Sisters birthday at Chucks Roadhouse in Trenton and our server Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing! We had quite a large table and working in restaurant service, I know how stressful that can be. Despite the POS system giving her trouble (gotta love technology) and our chaotic ordering (so sorry about that!), she was incredibly kind, calm, and so very accommodating! Thank you so much Kaitlyn for the amazing service and all the laughs! Genuinely the best server weve ever had :)

Within moments our waitress Angelina came to our table. She was so patient, suggestive selling and fast. Our foods served ranged from porter house steak, salads, burgers, chicken parm and similar. All the foods were hot, fresh and served to request. Thank you for a lovely experience had by all. We will return

Got sat on the patio. Got ignored for 30 minutes before I decided just to leave. The person I was with tried to wave down a waiter and just got ignored too. Normally great service, just dont sit on the patio.

Wings are unremarkable. Certainly on the small side. Average at best.

Meal not hot. Undercooked lobster tail. Was changed but its frozen so no taste. Garlic butter that doesnt taste like garlic. Very dirty floor.

Ive already been to Trentons Chucks Roadhouse twice since it has opened. I live in Belleville and have one not even 5 min from my house, that should tell you something right there. The first time I went with family and my husband and I shared the nachos. They were excellent and kept us both filled the rest of the night. Our server was fantastic. I am so sorry that I cannot remember her name. She was training a young man and he too was wonderful. We were greeted right away, sat right away and our drinks were at our table in under 5 min. Our food came out fast too and was perfect. The second time just my husband and I went. We both got stake. He got regular fries and I got loaded fries (I asked for a loaded baked potatoe but unfortunately they do not serve potatoes until 5pm so our waitress recommended the loaded fries) My husband likes his steak blue and it was cooked to perfection. I like medium and mine was also perfect. The fries were delicious and once again our waitress was great. Service was fast again as well. Its safe to say that at least for the foreseeable future we will not be going back to the Chucks location in Belleville and instead we will be going to the one in Trenton. Hopefully it doesnt start going downhill like the one in Belleville has. Parking: It is in the Wal Mart plaza close to Game Stop. There is lots of parking and lots of accessible parking too. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is great! Lots of booster seats and highchairs. Not overwhelming.

What can I say, well it was a great experience. Was tended to by several staff making sure everything was enjoyable. Service was quick, ordered the Chucks double burger and damn thats a lot of food. Leaving the restaurant happy and look forward to returning.

Ate here the other day and I was very impressed the food was excellent the service was great and the atmosphere was awesome, seeing this place full on a Saturday at 2pm was a good sign that this restaurant staff know what they are doing, highly recommend and no need to go to Belleville for a cheep lunch/dinner

Hosted a hockey team for a burger lunch. The tables were ready for us on arrival. The staff were fun and friendly and very accommodating considering how loud we were. The food was great no complaints from a U15 hockey team and parents.

Food portions were okay but my spouse and I left hungry. My wings were cold and very small. The only good thing was the beer. It was extremely noisy and the lighting was very low. Hard to read the menu. Quite a disappointment. Server was very polite though.

I visited the Trenton Ontario location on April 7th. I was told the ice cream was included with my daughters kids meal, yet I was Charged $3.00 for it. It also showed pop could be added for $1.50 with the kids meal but I was charged $3.49 each for both of our drinks. I came here due to the low prices and got over charged. It was extremely dark, i could barely read the receipt and with the waitress hovering over us I felt too uncomfortable to say anything so I just paid it. I wont ever be visiting again. The food tasted good but the portions were tiny

Their bread with spinach dip was awesome ,along with the bacon cheese burger, and nachos , the waitress we had was very, very polite , and service was excellent ,it was a good time for my grandsons 19th birthday ,plus everyone had a different dessert and I must say they were very good also. So not a complaint to be had ,good job done ty .We went to the one in Trenton, but I have also been to the one in Belleville ,both are great places to eat ,and if your into sports tgo watch a game and have a brew and a appetizer you wont regret it .

This new restaurant in Trenton is certainly bumping most nights of the week. It has been busy each time we attended. The service is quick and food is great for the price! They have great deals during the week and the owner takes pride in his customers, asking if our service was good and ensuring we got everything! We certainly will be back and is always at the top of our list when wanting to go out for dinner somewhere close to home!
