Bad food anytime you wanna play pool at a decent time elite we have it booked up and bad service
I go here to play pool every now and again, I've never gotten food from here until the Friday night, and let me tell you I have never been so sick in my life. Both my partner and I were up all night throwing up. Will never order food from there again.
The day bartender is horrible. 10 people in at lunch time and she did not seem to able to fill drink order in a timely manner. She had a cook with her so she did not have to do that. When Chrystal worked here you never, never waited to be served. Doubt we will come back
Should really be clearer on the pool pricing. It says $15 per hour, and they take a $20 deposit, but it's really a $20 minimum, as we were just playing a couple games after eating (were on the table 25 mins maximum) but the guy kept our full $20 when we took the balls and cue back. Either that or he was just ripping us off because we were not regulars. Either way won't be back.
If this review was based entirely off day time staff it would be a 5. But since I was unfortunately still there in the evening I have to give the overall rating a 3 for service and atmosphere. Day time staff were AMAZING. Friendly, attentive, funny to give everyone a great experience. Barely had to do anything to get service as they were always around. Evening staff - the guy was more worried about finding his next Tinder date (not joking... stood there swiping) and I felt like I was annoying him everytime I wanted to order something. The woman that was working was more helpful but was not around much.
Wow. Hubby and I had not been into a poolhall since our early twenties and now, 30 years later, went back with a 14 year old who was eager to give it a try. Ain't nothing sketchy about a poolhall on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We had a great time! Clean. Excellent service. Probably the best nachos with the most flavourful ground beef we've had in years. At $10 per hour on a Saturday and only $5 per hour on a Sunday, you can't have more fun for less. We will definitely be back. It was like stepping into a time capsule. Everything felt just like when we were young.
Awesome steak night, the food is great, and the company is better. I can't wait to eat and play some pool!

went their last night for about the 9th time and then bouncer accused my friend of drinking and driving even tho he s seen us their 9 times and all we drink is coke and then when we tried to tell him that we weren t drinking he got all in our faces and told us not to come back.. then tried to put his hands on my friend who is a women would not recommend at all..
very good food ,pool tables..good music..sports on 4 tvs.....t bone stake dinner 19.95 potatoes vegs...beer wine shots...ect..

Went in after work one Sunday evening(Dec 4/22). Had a couple pints, a lb of wings & a small poutine. Service was great, both the wings & poutine great. This was my first time here & likely not my last. Food : 5/5
Poor customer service. In the amount of time it took to argue with us you could have poured 2 shots to help celebrate an important day. It honestly wouldve been 5 minutes out of your night to help create a nice memory but instead youd rather lie and think of yourself.

Its a local billiards hall. Overall, it was a decent place to play, but they needed to have their tables maintained better. The one that I was on had picks, small bits of chalk, and uneven felt from it being old and well used.
Awesome place for drinks and pool
Friendly staff and clean location. Tables are in good condition. I have visited on crowded occasions and quiet nights, always been a positive environment. Note the tournament or league night before you go as the walk in tables are limited.

My 2 friends, my daughter and I enjoyed a girls night out recently and had a great time. The poutine was awesome! We had drinks and enjoyed listening to karaoke and dancing. There is also pool tables that we will play next time. We will definitely return!

We actually had a good time. We were able to get a table, as we left between 830pm & 9pm. The girls were great and excellent to deal with. The music?? Little to say, really, but should the dj /kareoke guy, be there about 7pm, be all set up, maybe if your there, early, just play some mellow ambient back ground stuff, then at 9, play more recent stuff. Other than that..all good.
Very bad customer service for delivery they mess up hang up on me so I go on Facebook wright a review and they block me guess what you can do that on here they send me the wrong food and to top it off the hubby burger wasn t cooked so I would not eat take out or delivery
Its an okay place. You have to go to the bar for drinks and Saturday night they have karaoke, thats a mixed bag... not sure why they have it on the weekend, would be nice if they had a live band or just the dj, the amateur singers can distract from you game of pool.
The food is good and you get your moneys worth. Great prices. Wait staff was friendly. Pretty chill atmosphere. Well definitely be going back.

Your hungry? Need a drink? You wont regret stopping here. i love the food! Service is great! and you can play on one of there many pool tables! They have karaoke and some really awesome meal specials. I follow them on Facebook because while it is a bar they have an amazing chef! and they post steak nights ect there. Youll come back and be excited for your next meal! and a drink!

Friendly vibe. Really great food. We havent even shot pool here yet and were in love with the place. Might look rough and tumble to some, but this place has heart, so for sure pop in if youre hungry for some good greasy food.

I placed my bag on a chair at a table, the chair subsequently fell over. Immediately afterwards I was told I was done and asked to leave. Incredibly unprofessional. Unless you are a pool player, steer clear of Stix.

Good service, covid check but wow it goes without saying or seeing if you order to go anywhere for this fact : they dont care! 8$ mushroom caps so old and just plain sad when you go spend money and this happens the pictures are just more honest than I could have ever said !!!

This was my first visit back to Stix in probably 5+yrs. The staff were very nice, and quick. Prices were good both for drinks and table time. My only issue was table maintenance. I played for just over 2 hrs and every single game played I had to chase balls across the floor as almost all the pockets had holes in them. Otherwise it was a good time.

The food is absolutely amazing!!! Steak, wings, burgers, fish and chips, chicken fingers, etc. All delicious. I love the friendly atmosphere, and have fun every time I go. Live bands, dj/karaoke, or sports... they have it all.

The tables play straight and have new fabric. The drinks are good and everyones polite. What else do you want from a pool hall?
I just picked up wraps and fries. My son was concerned about the wraps being big enough. They were fantastic ! It was well worth the drive from Frankford. I will be visiting again soon.

Great environment, plenty of room around the tables, service took forever and was only 1 person to serve an entire pool room.
Showed up late with a group, staff had problems, drinks were served quick, local bands were great and pool was fun.

Terrible service. We waited about 10 minutes before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. Wasnt given a menu. Wasnt acknowledged after being given a drink. We came to have dinner, but only stayed long enough for my boyfriend to finish and pay for his drink. It was our first time going and our last. Will not recommend. Very dissatisfied.
